Chapter 44

    Donald’s point of view

My rage erupted when I learned she had fallen into the garden!

“What do you take this ce for?” I mmed my fist on the table twice and scowled at Sylvia. “This is the department of jewelry design. You assigned the task of cleaning the restroom to a new employee. What do you takethis department fort? What will you do with my order?”

    “Mr. Donald….”

“You assignedthe well-paid employees to clean the toilet. What about the cleaner? You don’t want her in the office, do you? Do you want to hand over this position to someone else?”

Sylvia’s face became flushed. “Please, Mr. Donald, pay attention to what I’m saying. It isn’t what you believe. This neer is unable of performing even the most basic tasks. All I ask is that she practices and creates a solid foundation….”

“What do you mean by the most fundamental work?” I hissed.

    She stammered, “I…. I

“Go for it!” “If you hide anything from me, all of you in this department will leave!” I told Trista as I turned to face her.

“Nothing. Watering the flowers, making coffee, sweeping the floor, and changing the garbage bag are all things that I do on a regr basis “Trista answered.

“She gets given arge sry when she is hired. You let her help with the household tasks!” Hearing this, I leaped to my feet and eximed, “Good for you, Sylvia! You’re squandering thepany’s funds! Your working principle has been vited! Have you been in this position for a long time and don’t like it? You don’t want it, do you? Okay! I’ll assist you! You’re fired as of right now!”

“Mr. Donald?” Sylvia’s legs were weak and her face changed dramatically as a result of her fear. “Please, Mr. Donald, pay attention to what I’m saying. I only want to improve her working skills without any additional considerations. I consider every neer to the jewelry design department to be a member of my family. I adore her and feel responsible for her well-being. This will never happen again, I guarantee!”

“This post has arge number of neers. Do you think I wasn’t aware of it?” I swept the paperwork on the table to the ground all of a sudden. “That’s why you killed other people’s dreams and treated them as cleaners. It’s no surprise they’d quit….”

“I didn’t chase the others away, Mr. Donald…. You’vepletely misunderstood!”

“Mr. Donald, I’m used to living a better life in other countries. Ms. Sylvia had just asked me to clean the bathroom so i could see how difficult it is to be a cleaner. I believe it is important for her to instruct the employees in this manner.” Trista abruptly spoke in Sylvia’s ce. “This brief experience has taught me a lot, and I recognize the importance of this post. I’ll treasure my current existence much more.”

“That’s all there is to it! Trista will be able to work in the office with the other employees in the afternoon. She is not permitted to undertake housework on a daily basis! It’s simply a once-in-a-while thing!”

“Mr. Donald, you are correct. Ms. Sylvia went so far as to clean the window on the seventeenth floor. It’s not a big problem for me to do something so minor!” Trista chimed in.

“Did you clean the window on the seventeenth floor?” “Is there anything on the seventeenth floor that you can stand on to clean the window? Tell me how you managed to clean all of the more than 400 windows by yourself.”

“All I want to do is make a metaphor….”

“I can let it go because someone is defending you.” I went on to say, “However, the report you just handed me contains three errors. You can go to the bathroom to experience life tomorrow in order to increase your functioning skills and attitude.”

“What? I’ll go?” Sylvia’s eyes widened in amazement.

    “Do you think it’s me?”

“No, Mr. Donald, you imed that the jewelry design department’s employees degrade themselves by washing the toilet. Will being there in person as a vice director have a negative impact on the jewelry design department?”

“I’m not going to do that.”

    “However, Mr. Donald….”

“Or are you adamant about not taking this seat?” I made a threat.

Sylvia quickly said, ” I will undoubtedly clean the toilet thoroughly and ensure that Mr. Donald is satisfied. But….”

    “However, what?”

“But, Mr. Donald, how long do you want me to wash? If I can’t do my job while cleaning the bathroom every day….”

“Then leave it to Trista.” I mmed my hand on the table and said, “Trista will temporarily fill this ce for you. Every day, after you’ve washed the toilet, ask her to check on you. What about you, Trista? Every day, tell me what happened. Every morning, remember to arrive in my office on time before you leave work. Please don’t bete.”

    Trista’s point of view

I knowwhat he wanted to do. He simply invited me to lunch in his office. How could this man be an idiot and say it out loud?

“You muste in front of me on time, no matter what kind of task others want you to aplish. People who are rted to you will be punished if this does not happen.” His statements sounded as if they were spoken to others.

“All right, Mr. Donald.” Right now, I’ll tell you.

“Can you tell me why you’re still standing?” Donald increased his voice and gave Sylvia a disgruntled expression. “It’s time to go to the bathroom.”

I feigned a smile when I heard this.

    Sylvia’s point of view

“Mr. Donald, I’d want to ask you another question that I’m not sure how to answer.” With a contrite smile, I continued, “Only a few bathrooms are avable. Is it possible for me to return to my workce and continue working once I’ve washed?”

“Did I ask you to clean a few of the rooms?” He cautiously raised his eyes and stated, “You are in charge of the Lion group’s bathroom. There’s only a half-day left now. Are you certain you’ll be able toplete the task?”

“Well, I’m going to….”. I was about to go when I realized I’d taken so many showers.

    “Stop!” He abruptly stated.

“What else can I do for you, Mr. Donald?” I asked as I turned around.

“Allow those listening outside to get as far as they can before cking off. They’ll be the next to be punished!”

When I opened the door, several staff bolted and sat down one by one in their chairs.

I’mpletely humiliated. Did they watch the situation where Mr. Donald reprimanded me just now? I hastily walked away, embarrassed. I don’t want to squander any of my time. Trista will take my seat if I don’t finish cleaning the restroom before I leave work!

I’ve put in a lot of effort over the years, and I’m not going to give up my hard-won achievements!

    Donald’s point of view

“Close the door, neer.” I locked my gaze on Trista.

    She obediently shut the door.

    “Come here,” I said, smiling.

I drew her onto my legs as she walked gently towards me. “Who else bullied you?”

“What are you doing?” She hurriedly looked out the window and attempted to stand. “It’s not nice to be noticed! Put me down as soon as possible!”

“Howe you didn’t tell me you were bullied?” I hugged her tightly and refused to let her go. “Do you have a propensity of being abused? Since you’ve been bullying me like this, why don’t you tell me?”

“Put me down first. Let’s discuss it afterward!”Content protected by N?v/el(D)rama.Org.

“All I want to do now is talk about it. Do you realize how horrible I’m feeling right now, Trista? I’m your husband, by the way. Why don’t youe clean about what happened to you?”

“Give me a break…. It hurts!” She smirked.

Following her gaze, I discovered that her elbow was swollen. “What went wrong? Who did it?”

    “Donald, listen to me….”
