    Liam nodded " I heard that, all I want to know is what the doctor said you''re battling with, cold?


    Fever? Flu? Heck I want to know everything " He got serious now.


    " Calm down " Ca cautioned lightly.


    " That''s what I''m doing, isn''t it? " Liam spoke up.


    " Just shut up or I''ll chop off your dick and feed it to the fishes " She shouted.

    Ca rolled her eyes " So I went to the hospital to see a doctor and after I told her everything, she


    said she''d have to run a couple of tests on me... "


    Again, Liam interrupted " You were made to do tests?! That sounds pretty bad and yucky "


    Ca scoffed " Yucky is not the word dummy "


    This time, it was Liam who rolled his eyes " Whatever "


    " So...? " He prompted.


    " So I did the tests of course " She made it seem like his question was stupid.


    " Of course you did the tests, so what were the results? Some flu you caught when we went to


    Houston? " He asked casually but what came out of Ca''s lips next shocked him to the core.


    " The results shows I''m pregnant " She blurted out and watched Liam go still. She brought out the


    results and handed them to him. He collected both silently and went through everything thoroughly.


    When he was done, he looked up " You''re carrying my child?? " He whispered hoarsely, his voice


    thick with emotion.


    She nodded " So I was told " and she shrugged.


    He moved back slowly and looked at her t tummy " A sweet, little, living soul we made together is


    in there? " He gulped and stared at her tummy like he wanted to see for himself.


    Ca pped his arm yfully " Stop silly! You don''t expect him or her to pop out any moment, do


    you? "


    That finally brought him out of his trance " Oh! Uh... Be... " He coughed slightly " My baby is in


    you? " He whispered.


    She nodded and her gaze on him was tender " Yeah, the baby we made together " She said softly.


    " Oh baby " He croaked out and engulfed her in a warm hug. Ca let him hug her without a word, it


    was his moment to reminisce the change that was about to take ce in their lives. This was the


    one thing that brought them together, it was what they lived for since the day one. He sniffed and


    Ca wondered if he was crying.


    " Hey, are you crying? " She asked teasingly.


    But when he drew back from the hug, there was no traces of tears and he rolled his eyes in a way


    Ca found cute.


    " I was not crying, duh " He replied and ced kisses on her hands.


    " Really? " Ca teased him some more andughed.


    Liam red at her yfully for a minute until the look was reced with a tender one that made


    Ca feel special.


    " I can''t express how happy I am Be, how happy you made me with this news " He said softly.


    " So I''m going to be a father " He mused


    " And I''m going to be a mother " Ca put in and they smiled at each other.


    "Come on " He said and set her on her feet gently.


    " Why? " She asked as she straightened out her dress.


    " Come on " He repeated as he tried to make his tie neat. Ca assisted him with him and he


    muttered his thanks.


    " Where are we going? " She asked again


    " I won''t move an inch if you refuse to tell me " She said stubbornly and crossed her arms under her


    breasts.


    Liam sighed, what''s with women and their stubborn attitude? Now a pregnant one at that. Geez, his


    hands would be full. He already had trouble trying to make her do his bidding but now that she was


    carrying his child, it would way difficult to get her to do what he wanted.


    She feigned tiredness all of a sudden. Well, he would be damned, exactly what he was just thinking


    about. She would even be more difficult now that she had a tangible reason.


    " Ow I''m tired already, you know the thing with pregnant women and getting tired easily. I might just


    sleep on this soft,fortable couch " She said and feigned a yawn.


    Liam rolled his eyes " Come on Be, we won''t take long "


    She ced her hands on her hips " Then tell me where we''re going "


    " Really, it''s not gonna... " He started to speak again but Ca cut him off with a big, fake yawn.


    " O, I''m tired " She closed her eyes and opened one to look at Liam who was tired of her drama


    already.


    " Okay fine, we''re going sightseeing " He finally told her.


    She perked up " Sightseeing?! Wow that''s really good, a very good way to make an expecting


    mother rx, don''t you think so honey? " And she smiled at him sweetly.


    Liam rolled his eyes again " Now, shall we go? "


    " Yeah sure " She answered with a huge smile and held out her hand to be pulled up in which Liam


    did without any morein.


    He ced his hands on the small of her back and they left the office. They met Amanda on the way


    and she screamed on sighting Liam.


    " Ca! " She shrieked and flew into Ca''s open arms, almost knocking them both down but for the


    timely intervention of Liam.
