Chapter 10 Use Protection


    After that embarrassing moment with Mr. Carter, I fed Grey and I put Henrique to sleep. After doing


    those things stayed in my room. I need not get myself into another awkward situation with the green


    eyed Devil. The more I stay in my room, the less I see him.


    After taking a bath I made my way to Henrique''s room where he was ying with some stuff animals in


    the paly pen. When he realize my presence, he smiles. I slightly bend to retrive him from the ground.


    "Well aren''t you lonely?" I couldn''t beleive they left him by himself. I know it''s my job to take care of him


    but I just arrived. They should at least let me get use to the thought of taking care of a child.


    I put him on my side and we made our way down the stairs. Dinner will be served in a couple of


    minutes and I needed to be early. Ms. Wilson didn''t like me already , imagine when she sees me


    I entered the dining room to see Mr. Carter was already there. I looked at the long dining table that was


    made for a big family. I didn''t know where to sit, it is so huge. I spot Henrique baby seat close to Carter


    so I made my way over there. After cing him in the seat, I took a seat next to him. Ms. Wilson came


    out of the kitchen with a tray. She ce the tray on the table and start aligning the tes. Afterwhich


    she ce the tes in front of Carter, then Henrique then me. I knew the woman didn''t like me, from


    the cold res she send me. God! What did I do to deserves being hated by two persons I''m currently


    living with.


    She ced a sd dish in front us. About ten minutester when we were almost finish  she came


    back with the main course, Chicken and rice. It was simple, something that I''d cook for myself if I was


    at home. But I''d never imagine a rich man eating normal people food. To be honest I taught we''d be


    eating roast fish with Lasagnas. I guess I was wrong. Ms. Wilson left a second time but this time she


    didn''te back. I saw Carter and the baby eating so I began eating too. I heard a loud growl. I looked


    him to see my dog beside another dog. The dog is light brown, a little lighter than Grey. She is


    beautiful. Beside her is Grey.


    "Oh my god, Grey you made a friend already. Come here." My dog got up and the fluffy brown dog


    followed him. They stopped in front of me.


    "So who''s your friend?" I asked my dog. He started to lick my toes. It was ticklish so I let out augh.


    "Stop it, Grey." I giggled and he stopped when he heard the female dog growl. "She''s your girlfriend.


    Ha, my baby has a girlfriend. What''s her name?"


    "Cloudy," I heard a deep voice said. I immediately know who it was. I didn''t take my eyes off my dog.


    Grey got up from beside me and him and Cloudy disappeared behind the wall.


    "Use Protection," I blurt out before I could stop myself. I heard someone coughing. I looked up to see a

    set of green eyes on me. I bent my head and blushed.  I blushed. I used to tell my sister that line, every


    time she went on a date and trust me that was regr.


    I heard a knock and I looked in the direction it came from. I saw Henrique with the spoon knock on the


    baby seat. His face was full of food more like his face was eating the food and not his mouth. Iugh


    and take up then napkin I brought down for him and wipe his face. His te was a te dish so was


    his spoon. His area was aplete mess. I sigh.


    I returned back to my half eaten food. I heard a chair move and I look up to see Carter leaving the


    table. He looked him and he caught my gaze for a second but I quickly looked down. What''s happening


    to me? I''m not afraid of looking at a man, in fact I hate them all except, Carlos, Grey, Henrique. Those


    were the only men in my life, if you consider my dog a man. I stay away from men ever since what


    happened and I won''t take the risk again. I rather stay by myself and have a dog that will never leave or


    betray me. But wait. Grey has a girlfriend now, ha, he won''t leave me. He loves me and I love him.


    We''ve always being together. Inseparable.


    After Henrique and I finish eating. We went up to his room and  I gave him a bath. After about six fail


    attempts of putting on a pampers, I seed. By the time he was clothed, his eyes were slowly falling


    so I took him in my arms and rock him until he drifted to sleep.


    I smile and ce him in his crib. Taking care of a baby is not that bad after all.


    Henrique  is sweet and adorable. The question that lingers in my head though is Why? Why did sister


    leaven this beautiful baby? Has she gotten worse instead of better for the past years in the modeling


    industry? Why would she abandon her eighteen months old child?


    I went to bed with those question still lingering in my head. Why? Why my dear sister?


    Why?
