At first, he did have issues with the flame and the gunpowder degrading. The flame wasn''t so bad, as it was a good way to transfer the skill to its target, but the gunpowder being degraded caused the speed of the flame to reduce. This was something Jake would not accept. He continued refining the skill. He continued this refinement for twenty-two days until the flame turned a light shade of green, with a scattering of black lines where the atomic degradation skill manifested in its fully condensed state. The green flame was a by-product of the stable arcane energy holding back the corruption from the atomic degradation skill.

The moment Jake finished the skill, he understood his luck. If he had gone with his original plan, he would never have been able to acquire this skill, as atomic degradation would have ripped apart any metal he put into it, and he couldn''t use more stable arcane energy as he needed every little bit to hold back the corruption, and it was still leaking out.
The next thing Jake did was add the summon projectile skill to the non-corrupted fire shot. After all he had gone through so far, Jake was expecting a struggle, but to his surprise, it only took a day to complete. It was so easy to do; he even made a version that used thousands of small fragments, and once he did, he received the familiar notification.
