Chapter 26 Make Me Happy


    “Tell me the truth. Whether Kelvin has bribed her that as long as she gives up using me, he will let


    her work in the Heyday Group?” Ba asked.


    Kelly touched his nose and became nervous, “Well… our boss has his ns. I think you can ask him

    “Lose again?” Kelvin asked gently and picked up the newspaper again.


    Ba did not answer. She just kept eating. Her cheeks bulged like a squirrel eating.


    Kelvin frowned and looked at her.


    “I’m stuffed.” Ba put down the forks and knives, pulled out a napkin to rub on her mouth, and got up


    to leave.


    “Stop.” Kelvin said coldly.


    Ba paused but did not turn her head.


    “Kelly. Since these meals are not to Ba’s taste, the cooks don’t have to stay here. Dismiss all of


    them.” Kelvin said without raising his eyes from the newspaper.


    “Got it.” Kelly shuddered and answered.


    “Bullshit.” Ba turned and said, “Why don’t I know I have said the meal is not my taste?”.


    She returned to her seat, wrapped her arms around herself, did not want to look at Kelvin, said, “A


    useless designer can be hired while good cooks couldn’t stay.”


    Ba could not help mumbling.


    Kelvin read through her mind. She was not only annoyed by others but was irritated by Laura. He said,


    “I’m the boss of the Heyday Group. It’s up to me to hire and dismiss anyone. Do I need to discuss with


    you?”

    “Depend on your performance.” Kelvin said. He stood up and tidied up the clothes she had grabbed. “If


    you had made me happy, I would let you work there.” he added.


    She frowned again and said, “I''d better go for an interview.”


    Everyone knew that he was stony-hearted, and she had never seen his smiles. Even he was smiling,


    he looked terrifying. It was harder for her to make him happy than to prepare for an interview.


    “Laura will work in the top designer’s team.” he said with a smile.


    “Well, fine. I will find a way to make you happy.” Ba smiled tteringly, “Master Lewis, can you tell


    me how to make you happy?”


    Such a despicable man! Top designers are the chief of the Heyday Group. It took more than five years


    to be a silver-ss designer in Heyday Group. However, anyone who worked in the top

    He was boxing against sandbag, making a muffled sound. His hair was wet by sweat. His sweat fell


    from his cheek to the clothes. He had a well-defined figure with muscles.


    “Boss.” Kelly called him. He came here as soon as he received the text message.


    “Come here.” Kelvin stopped and held the shaking sandbag.


    Kelly had no idea why Kelvin asked him to do so but still walked to the front of Kelvin. However, the


    moment he got there, Kelvin attacked him with a fist. Kelly quickly responded and dodged the attack.


    “Boss!” Kelly cried out of confusion.


    “What did I teach you before?” Kelvin said coldly, “You cannot solve the problems by bullying others.”


    Kelly understood immediately that Kelvin was scolding him because of Maria’s injury. He softened his


    voice, “Sorry, boss. I was meant to give her a lesson, but she was too abhorrent. I thought she was too


    mean to Ba that I could not help to beat her.”


    Kelvin sneered, “Too naive you are. That I want you to guard Ba is to avoid her making troubles. But


    you helped her as an aplice?”


    Kelly bowed his head and kept silent.


    “I’m wrong. The punishment is up to you.” he said sincerely.


    “It’s different from when we were in the army.” Kelvin said coldly, “To against a person is to find her

    Ba lurked furtively there and looked at Kelvin.


    “Deduct your sry for three months. Go to your brother to get the punishment.” Kelvin said as he saw


    Ba trying to approach them.


    “Yes, sir.” Kelly left and thanked Ba so much for helping him avoid boxing with Kelvin.


    Seeing Kelly leave, Ba came out from behind the treadmill.


    Kelvin sat down for a rest, took off his boxing gloves, unscrewed a bottle of water, and drank it.


    Ba rushed to the front of him and handed the towel to Kelvin with both hands and said, “You must


    be tired. You can use it to towel your sweat.”
