Chapter 88: Final Chapter
She couldn''t help but smile when she remembered what happened at the hospital when she gave birth
to their daughter Amara risse who is now 5 years old. Amara means beloved and risse means
bright, shining, gentle and famous.

It was their second day at the hospital when Nick saw a nurse in the room.
"What are you doing?" he asked the male nurse with his brows knitted.
"Sir I just checked your wife''s blood pressure.." he replied courteously.
She sighed when she saw her husband''s lips formed a thin line.
"Honey, my blood pressure is normal. Do you want Floyd to check yours too?" she asked and her
husband''s expression became darker.
He was watching the poor young nurse like a hawk which made the young man looks ufortable.
"Floyd?!" he rasped. F*CKING HELL! Why does she know this asshole''s name? he asked feeling
pissed.
Now she even rolled her eyes. She knew what he was thinking as usual.
"Honey, his name te says Floyd T. Perez." she told him with a small smile before looking at the
nurse again. "Floyd, thank you. You don''t need to take my husband''s blood pressure It might break
your blood pressure monitor. I think it''s sky high. " she joked.
She gave Nick her sweetest smile and held her hand to him. Still frowning, he came closer to her and
took her hand. The male nurse said goodbye politely to both of them.

They were at the mall. Nick didn''t really like shopping that''s why he had his personal shopper. . At first
his exnation was he found shopping at stores a waste of time. Soon she discovered it was because

her so much, he said yes today. They were window shopping when suddenly their daughter started
crying so she had to go to the breastfeeding station. She and Amara had been inside for 2 15 minutes
when the nurse called her.
"Mrs. Alcantara? Your husband wanted to know if you are finish now."
She almost shook her head because her husband was being impatient again. He didn''t want her and
their baby to be out of his sight.
"Please tell him we''ll be out in 2 minutes. Thanks." she said with a smile.
She touched Amara''s cheek gently and in a soft voice. " We have to go out baby. I think you''re all good
now. We don''t want to stress your daddy."
She was d that their baby seemed to understand because she didn''t even cry when she stopped
breastfeeding her.
"Oh dear!" she muttered when she saw how heavy Nick''s frown was when he atst saw them.
He walked with the stroller. " What took you so long? Is she okay? She was really crying loudly a while
ago."
"She was just hungry honey. She cries louder at home." she told him as she gently put their sleeping
baby in the stroller.
"Is that normal? Isn''t that bad for her health?"
She kissed him quickly on the cheek . "Honey, you worry too much. Babies do cry loudly."
He pulled her towards him. He kissed her temple. "I will never stop worrying about you two. I will get a
female bodyguard for you and Amara so I don''t worry about ." he said seriously.
She moved a little away from him. "No need honey. We hardly go out without you. That''s just a waste of
money." sheined.
" I will hire someone to watch over you. There could be times that I can''t go with you especially now.
My new business with Dad and Alfred will open soon. I will get someone from a trusted agency." he
said with finality.
She heaved a sigh and felt a bit annoyed. Her husband was as usual having his own way. She pursed
her lips and started walking ahead of him. Nick, while pushing Amara''s stroller called her but she
ignored him. She is irritated with him because he was being unreasonable again as usual. He didn''t
even allow her to drive after she gave birth because he said he would just be worried if didn''t drive for
her. If he was busy, Norman was her driver/ bodyguard. Actually it was probably because of post-natal
syndrome why she felt like this. Nick was in fact a very sweet and loving husband though most of the
time overprotective.
She stopped walking and turned to him and Amara who were a few feet away. Nick''s voice called her
again in a more thunderous voice. She frowned and walked towards them.
"What''s wrong?" she worriedly looked at Amara and was relieved when she saw her sleeping
peacefully.
Dammit! Nick mumbled.

few months ago. His blood boiled when he noticed that men were staring at her.
"Honey? What is it?" she asked because he looked angry.

like you were not with your husband! They probably think you were still single! DAMMMIT!"
She rolled her eyes and just shook her head. She also noticed that women were doing a double take
because of him but she chose to ignore them. She was more secured of his love for her. Just for them
not to bicker again, she came closer to him and wrapped her arm around his.
"Honey don''t mind them . I don''t even see them because I only see you." she said huskily as she raised
her head a little to look into his eyes.
He sighed then gave her a peck on the lips.
"I love you." she said as she smiled sweetly at him.
Finally his face broke into a smile. " I love you more honey." he murmured and he traced the side of her
face with his index finger.
She had to bear his mood swings minus his possessiveness, because she couldn''t ask for more. Who
would ever think that Nichs Derick Alcantara would fall in love with the right woman and that woman
was her.

She pretended to be asleep. Her husband was tired when he got home but he said that after he rested,
they would definitely make love.
"Honey...I want you.." he said hoarsely as he turned her to him.
