Chapter 51


    (About 10 minutes ago)


    Nick didn''t have any ns of going to work because he has a hangover and hecks sleep but he


    wants to see Stacey. He misses her beautiful face, her sweet voice and wonderful smell. She uses


    different types of perfume which for him really go well with her. He goes crazier when he smells her. His


    woman had really cast a spell on him. She is his beautiful and very desirable enchantress.


    He is very excited to see her but he has to remember what Billy taught him. He is quite skeptical to do


    them but his friend assured him that they are going to be effective. Billy said that women are also like


    men in some ways. They also like challenges. Stacey might get tired of him if he always shows her how


    crazy he is about her.


    I can''t wait until youe willingly to me honey and tell me how much you miss and want me too.I just


    hope that I can control my urge to hold and kiss you. He murmured to himself with a sexy grin.


    He was about to enter the building when he heard Heather''s voice.


    "Lovey!"


    Frowning, he turned to look at her. She is all smiles as she walks to him. She is wearing a ck slinky


    sleeveless top and white tight-fitting pair of pants which match her strappy high-heeled shoes. Heather


    is also attractive but her attitude spoils it. She raised a brown paper bag which she is carrying. Looks


    like she brought some food. He almost groaned in frustration. Stacey''s sister can''t really take a no. He


    told her many times that he is not interested in her. Last night, he wanted to tell her how he feels about


    her sister but he didn''t because he wanted Stacey to tell her instead. He saw how Heather glowered at


    Stacey and he is hoping that the hostility between them won''t get worse once Heather learned about


    him and her sister but maybe it''s like asking for the moon. He just swallowed a sigh.


    "What are you doing here?" he asked her.


    "Good morning Lovey! I cooked for you." She said . She is now near him. She touched his arm and


    smiled seductively at him.


    Some of his employees said good morning to him and he greeted them back. He removed Heather''s


    hand on his arm and pulled her to the corner of the lobby. They are attracting a lot of attention already.


    Some of the women he bedded once used to go to his office too especially the ones who wanted more


    than one fuck but he didn''t care if people in the building saw them . But this time it''s different. He


    doesn''t want Stacey''s opinion of him gets even worse .


    "You just can''te here unannounced." he said curtly.


    Heather has a childish pout on her lips while saying, "But lovey ,I didn''t have time to cook and bring you


    lunch before but since I don''t have to be at the university today, I cooked for you. I woke up early to


    make this. It''s my specialty, pasta puttanesca."


    Nick knitted his brows. He has no choice but to bring her to his office. Whether he likes it or not, she is


    still Stacey''s sister and he has to be at least civil to her. But he has to keep her at bay because Heather


    is very aggressive.


    "Look Heather, I just want to make things clear again. Since your sister Stacey is one of my employees,


    I have to be nice to you. But as I have said before, I am not looking for a girlfriend okay? So don''t forget


    that we can''t have any sort of rtionship like the kind you want ."he said matter-of-factly but Heather


    ignored what he said.


    She touched his arm again before saying, "Let''s go to your office. It''s almost lunch time.I don''t want you


    to eat cold pasta."


    He just shook his head in defeat.He knows how stubborn she can be. He got the paper bag from her


    then led her to the lift.

    He almost knitted his brows when he saw the shock on Stacey''s pretty face when her eyes went to


    them. At first, he thought of removing Heather''s arm from his but he changed his mind. He can test if


    Stacey will get jealous. He remembered Billy''s advice and decided to give it a go .

    She tore her eyes from the pair and pretended to be busy again with what she was doing. She is trying


    very hard not so show any emotions on her face. She doesn''t know how she feels exactly. A part of her


    wants to cry , another part wants to get angry and be violent.


    "G-Good morning sir." She heard Cherry said.


    "Good morning Miss Mendez. Can you bring some tes and forks inside my office? " Nick asked.


    "Okay sir." his secretary responded.


    She knows that Nick came closer because she has goose bumps when he gets near her, just like


    Derick.


    "Hi sissy." Heather sweetly greeted her.


    She closed her eyes for a few seconds and fixed a smile on her lips before looking at them. If she didn''t


    know her sister better, she would have believed that she sounded happy to see her. She threw both of


    them a nce and just said hi before returning her eyes to herptop again.


    "Your sister brought food, want to join us?" Nick asked.


    "Lovey! I only cooked for you and me! I don''t think there is enough for three people and besides Stacey


    doesn''t like pasta." Heather hurriedly said.


    Stacey frowned. Heather knows that she loves pasta. But naturally she will lie because she wants Nick


    all to herself.


    Without looking at them, " It''s okay sir. I am not hungry anyway and Heather prepared that especially


    for you. Though she just warmed the store-bought sauce and asked our helper to boil the pasta, for her


    that is a lot of effort already so just finish everything to show your appreciation." she said tonelessly .


    She swallowed a smile because she knows that her bitchy sister is pissed because she exposed her.


    "Sir, I have the utensils here." came Cherry''s voice.


    She didn''t raise her head to look at them. She just stood up and got her bag and rushed outside when


    she heard Nick''s door closed.


    She cried in the bathroom.


    She was nning to talk to Nick about them this morning but she was so shocked to see hime


    with Heather. They probably talked about her sister making lunch for him today.


    "Maybe this is a sign that I should just stay with Derick. " she told herself while wiping her face with a


    tissue.


    Never again will she let Nick persuade her to have a rtionship with him. He and Heather are a good


    match. They belong together. Nick is not the kind of guy who will waste his time on one woman


    especially someone like her who is so indecisive. There are too many willing women to be his.Probably

    She looked at herself in the mirror and said," A man like him falling for a nobody like me only happens


    in movies so I better wake up and face reality."


    She retouched her make-up and made sure that she looks good before stepping out of the restroom.


    She wants to look unaffected. She is past caring . She will just focus on her task at work. She almost


    gaped when she saw who ising towards the male restroom opposite the female''s.


    "Miss Stacey Ledesma?" Asked Jim with a creased forehead.


    She tried topose herself before nodding. "Mr.Enriquez." she said his name in a cold voice.


    She had never forgotten what he said to her during their meeting at Tyler''s office.


    "What are you doing here?" he asked.


    "I work here." she said in an expressionless tone.


    His eyes widened then he shook his head.


    "Well,I''ll be damned!" he said with a smirk before he ran his eyes from her lovely face down her body.


    She narrowed her eyes and balled her hands on her sides.


    "Now I know why Nick transferred me to another branch. " he said as if to himself.


    "And why would he do that, if I may ask?" she asked with a frown.


    "Because of OU." he answered while he leered at her. "You must be really special that he threw away


    our years of friendship for you." he said maliciously.


    "I BEG YOUR PARDON?" she asked through gritted teeth.


    Jim just released a heavy sigh and smiled.


    "Well I better stop holding grudges against him for what he did. Though I saw you first, I am sure that


    just like old times, after he got tired of you, he will let me have you. And if Nick went all this way to have


    you..you must be really worth it so I am willing to wait." he said while his eyes eat her.


    She felt her cheeks burn because of anger so she moved forward to p him hard on the cheek. She


    then stepped backwards while looking at him with hatred. She gaped when he pulled her to him. Before


    she could react, he kissed her on the lips.


    "MMMMMPPP!!" she protested while doing her best to free herself from him.


    "JIM!!!"


    Stacey heard Nick''s furious voice and then Jim was violently pulled away from her.
