Chapter 48
Stacey is torn between taking the call or not. Looking at Nick''s angry face makes thetter seems to be
a better choice. He was a very generous lover to her when they got intimate and she doesn''t want him
to be pissed tonight.
She decided to ask him. "Do you want me to answer it or not?" she tried to make her tone steady.
SHIT!! When will this asshole stop? Nick thought.
He wants to beat him up but he doesn''t want to frighten Stacey. At this early stage of their rtionship,
he doesn''t wish that she sees his violent side which he himself just recently discovered . She asked
him to do those wonderful things to her a while ago and he''ll do his best not ruin what they have right
now just because he is jealous as fuck again . He wished himself good luck because he is really
pissed. He dealt with the other asshole already, Stacey''s former boss and he is pretty sure that he will
stop wooing Stacey. Now ke is his only problem.
Stacey uttered his name again while her phone continues to ring. The dickhead waiting for her has an
impatient expression already as he holds the phone to his ear.
He blew out some air to release some of his annoyance. " You don''t need to get it. We''ll get out of the
car anyway." he said.
He stepped on the elerator again and stopped a few meters from ke''s motorcycle. They saw him
straightened and turned to look at his car.
"I can''t go out like this!" Stacey said and she sounded panicky.
She helplessly looked at Nick''s grim expression as he res at ke through the windshield.
He nced at her face down her breasts. "Do you ever think that I will let him see you like that?" he
asked in an arctic tone. "Just wait here!Don''t daree out!" hemanded.
She rolled her eyes at him before he got out of the vehicle. She frowned when Nick walked to where
ke is. Thetter has his forehead creased as Nick talks to him.
GOSH! What is he telling ke? She asked herself.
She can''t see Nick''s face but his back looks tensed. He seems to be holding out his temper. She saw
ke''s lips thinned while he listens to whatever Nick is saying. Then after a while, he did the talking
and she witnessed how Nick''s hands which are on his sides clenched. She felt a little apprehensive.
There is definitely tension between the two men.
She can''t go out because Nick specifically said that she stays inside so she decided to honk to get their
attention, especially Nick''s. He didn''t turn but ke looked at the car''s direction. He said something to
Nick and thetter walked back to his car. He opened the backseat then got something , it''s a ck
jacket. He mmed the door then went to the driver''s seat. He slid in without closing the door.
"Wear this." he said in a very cold voice.
He helped her put it on. He even zipped it up while she just kept quiet.He really looks menacing. She
dare not ask him anything because his expression makes her feel afraid.
"Don''t go out yet! Wait for my instruction!" he ordered then went around the car to open her door for
her.
She pouted when she saw his expression. He doesn''t look angry now. Instead, he has a smile on his
handsome face. He took hold of her hand as he helps her go out. She wanted to tell him that he is
really bipr but of course she didn''t. He held her hand firmly as they walk to where ke is. He has
his eyes on their hands for a few seconds before his eyes went to her face. He is poker-faced. Now it
dawned on her why Nick had suddenly changed his facial expression. He wants to show ke that she
belongs to him and he is very affectionate. She doesn''t know whether to get angry or be amused. He
didn''t have to do this because ke isn''t even courting her. But then of course, her boss is Mr.
Grouchy sh Mr. Possessive.
"Why are you here?" she asked ke while she tried to get her hand back. She almost sighed in relief
when Nick released it but he moved closer to her side.
"I was worried. Eve she said that you went out with your boss . You were more than tipsy when I left."
he said tonelessly.
She felt Nick tensed up. "Are you implying that I took advantage of her?" he asked curtly.
ke''e eyes went to Nick. "You shouldn''t ask me that question. I definitely have a lot to say but not in
front of Stacey." he said with a sneer.
Stacey saw Nick''s aura became darker so she interrupted, " ke I''m okay. Nothing bad happened.
Thank you for the concern. Now that you have seen that I''m fine, let''s all call it a night. I still have work
tomorrow."
She was touched because she didn''t expect ke to worry about her like this. She got no reaction
from him though. The two men are ring at each other.
"Sir," she called Nick after she turned to him, " thank you for bringing me home . Goodnight."
With furrowed brows he looked at her. His eyes look steely. It seems that he didn''t like her calling him
sir in front of ke.

"Okay. I will call or see you tomorrow." said ke and she felt Nick was about to say something too so
she turned her eyes to ke again. "Thank you. Please drive carefully. Take care. "
She thought she heard Nick cursed but tried to ignore it. He pulled her by the arm to bring her closer to
his side.
Before ke put his helmet on, he said, "You take care miss Hotness, you need it more. Call me if you
need me."
She almost winced when Nick''s tightened his grip on her arm as they watched ke drove away.

Now that they are alone , she feels nervous. They are standing on the middle of the street. His left
hand is encircling her right arm tightly.
"Nick..." sheined.
His lips are set in a thin line. "In front of that asshole, who you keep on saying is just your friend, you
called me sir, now that we''re alone you call me Nick?" he asked sarcastically.
She sighed heavily before removing his hand from her forearm. "Every one knows that you are my
boss. You can''t expect me to tell everybody that...that..."
"That I want you? That we like pleasuring each other?That I almost possessed your lovely body
tonight? Why not? I think it''s best that they know! " he said as if it''s the most natural thing to suggest in
their situation.
"I don''t think that what happened is something that I should be proud of!"
"And what do you mean by that?" He asked . His tone sounds frightening.
"I am tired so let''s call it a night, Nick. At the office, you are my boss so I will call you sir and you call
me Stacey or Miss Ledesma. Don''t call me honey at work! " she said.
His eyes narrowed. "But I like calling you honey. Are you ashamed of me honey?" he asked.
She let out a sigh.
"Look at us. We are on the road while talking about this. Can we just let this conversation end right
now? I said I am tired. I have to get up early tomorrow. You can bete because you are the boss, but I
can''t be." she said with a hint of irritation.
She knows that after what happened tonight, Nick will think that he owns her already. Now she feels a
bit regretful . She shouldn''t have asked him to do all those things to her.
"You can be the boss'' girlfriend if you want to. You can even stop working because I will take care of
you. Let''s talk in the car honey, or we can go somewhere else to discuss about this." he suggested as
he took hold of her arm again.
"Nick! Didn''t you hear what I said? I said that I am tired! I don''t want to go to your car nor drive
somewhere to talk about this!"
Nick is angry. He thought that after what they did together, they are finally okay. That Stacey will
sumb to what he wants but it seems that she still hasn''t gotten over her issues with him.
He counted one to ten before speaking.
" Are you sure you don''t want to get inside the car? Though I don''t want to argue with you honey, I can''t
let our conversation end like this. We have to make things clear between us even if we are on the
middle of the street." he said firmly.
She shook her arm but he didn''t let it go.
"Why are you so stubborn? It''s like I am talking to a brick wall!"
" Because I don''t want a repeat of what happened here! I don''t want that asshole near you ever again!"
he rasped.
She stared at him in disbelief. His face looks really grim.
They both turned when they heard tires screeched loudly.
