    ( Stacey)


    She was about to protest but he turned his back already. She is dumbfounded. She stared at his closed


    door. Then after a second or two, she felt Cherry poke her arm.


    "Geez Stacey! Now it''s confirmed! Sir PTEF likes you!"


    She looked at her . She shook her head from left to right. "No.. " she murmured.


    " FYI! Our boss doesn''t allow just anyone inside his private office! I have been his secretary for 2 years


    but the longest I was inside is 10 minutes and that''s for dictations! Now he wants you to be with him


    from 8 to 5, Monday to Friday?! There is really a first time for everything!" Cherry said with a wink.


    She chewed the inside of her bottom lip. She is worried that in no time, everyone in the building will


    know that Mr. Alcantara''s new graphic designer is going to work in his private office with him. She can''t


    have that.


    "Wait! I''ll be back! I ''ll just call the maintenance. " Cherry said before going out.


    When the secretary went out, she decided to talk to Nick. She has to make him see sense. She


    discouraged her former boss Tyler from wooing her before because she didn''t want the other


    employees to gossip about them. The more that she doesn''t want to be the topic of the office gossip


    now that Nick is her boss.


    She knocked two times on his door before opening it slightly. She saw him standing near the window.


    His back is on her. He turned as if he sensed her presence.


    "Sir can we talk?" she asked him.


    "Come in!" he ordered as he moved towards his chair.


    She quietly closed the door behind her.


    Don''t forget that he can make your life miserable in and outside work. He has all the means to do that


    so talk to him politely and try to hold on to your temper..She advised herself.


    "Do sit down Miss Ledesma." he said , sounding formal.


    She nodded then sat down. She sighed before looking at him.


    "Sir, I don''t want people talking about us so can I just continue working outside? " she requested.


    He leaned on his chair without replying. His handsome face looks rxed .


    "Do you think I care what other people say?" he asked.


    "Sir , I am the woman here so I think in the end, I will be at the disadvantage." she exined.


    He sighed before he leaned forward on his table to look at her more intently.


    "And why do you say that you will be at the disadvantage?"


    His question got her.


    Should she dare say honestly what she thinks?


    "Miss Ledesma?" he arched his left brow while he waits for her answer.


    "Sir, I hope you won''t get offended but contrary to what you said about not collecting women, I think


    your reputation is not exactly good.." she finally told him.


    "You think or you heard Miss Ledesma?" he teased.


    His naughty smile made him look hotter than he already is. She almost gritted her teeth. She feels that


    Nick is deliberately using his panty- wrecking smile to lure her.


    She stopped herself from raising a brow.


    "Sir, what I mean is, I don''t want your other employees to think that we are mixing business with


    pleasure. We know that is a recipe for disaster."


    She wants to throw something at his face because he is almost grinning from ear to ear now.


    "Maybe for other people it could be a disaster. But as for me, mixing business with pleasure with you


    will be ... pure ecstasy.." he drawled and his eyes became darker.


    She moistened her lips because they suddenly felt dry.


    "Don''t you want to experience that with me Miss Ledesma? I will make sure that you will never be at a


    disadvantage. I will give you a lot of pleasure as I enjoy making love to your warm and beautiful body


    .We can have a lot of fun together." he almost said like a whisper.


    She should feel angry because of what he said but instead, her body reacted. Nick is almost


    seeding in seducing her so she has to stop him before she can no longer fight what she feels for

    "Mr.Alcantara, I think it will be impossible to have a working rtionship with you. So I quit! " she said


    with a firm tone.


    She stood up to walk to the door but she halted when he spoke again. " So you finally surrender? I


    guess I was right all along. You can''t resist me so you think the best option is resigning."


    She turned around to face him. He has a devilish grin on his handsome face as he leans on his chair.


    He is intensely looking at her.


    "And what if I may ask, do you mean by that, sir?" she asked through clenched teeth.


    He shrugged his shoulders. "I turn you on but you keep on fighting how you really feel for me because


    ording to you, you have a boyfriend already. But Miss Ledesma, if you feel that I will make you


    happier, then break up with him. Don''t fight what your body desires. Be mine. Leave him for me. I will


    take good care of you." he said in a voice which sounded serious and sincere.


    Her heart beat faster and her palms became sweaty.

    She has to muster all the remaining control she has. She narrowed her eyes as she holds the stare.


    "Are you really like that? You don''t really care even if the woman is with someone else already?" she


    said with a clipped tone.


    "If the woman is you then the answer is yes." he said while his eyes glinted. "I think your boyfriend


    doesn''t know how to take care of you. He doesn''t deserve you. If you were mine, I won''t let other men


    go near you. And if I see you talking to any male who is interested in you, I would beat the daylights out


    of him. And after I am done with him.. I will deal with you. I will show you who you belong to...in many

    She stopped herself from balling her hands on her sides. Nick is sweeping her off her feet with his

    He then rose from his chair. His naughty smile is still visible. He is now slowly walking towards her as if


    he has all the time in the world. She didn''t move from her ce. She doesn''t want him to have the


    impression that he greatly affects her. She knows deep inside she can still control what she is feeling.


    He was several inches from her when he stopped advancing.


    " I can give you more...much more...and I am not only talking about material things. I know that you are


    not the type of woman who can be bought so among other things, I am offering you myself." he said as


    his eyes slowly travel from her wrist, up her neck and then her lovely face.


    He is not smiling now but an odd expression crossed his face when he met her eyes.


    "Just give me a chance and I will let you get to know the real Nick Alcantara." he said seriously.


    Okay..let the game begin.. she thought while still trying to look poker-face.


    "How would I know if you are really serious and you mean what you say? I will be risking a lot if I break


    up with my boyfriend."she said.


    A smile crossed his handsome face again. "Just try me." he said.


    She can''t hold the eye contact any longer. His stare is very intense. She turned away from him to


    moved near the window. She can see the traffic below.


    Here goes...She told herself. She heaved a sigh.


    " I love my boyfriend Mr. Alcantara...but a part of me wants to try what you are offering." she said


    before slowly turning her body so their eyes can meet again.


    She swallowed when she saw how he is looking at her. It is more intense. His hunger and desire for her


    are visible in his eyes.


    "What exactly do you mean by that? Please enlighten me more Miss Ledesma.." he said , his eyes are


    now on her lips.


    She let more air in her lungs before tilting her head to the right without removing her eyes from him.


    Nick is very possessive and she hopes that reverse psychology would do its trick.


    "If it''s okay with you to share me with my boyfriend, I will give you a chance to prove that you are better


    than him....then I will decide who I will choose between the two of you." she said.


    She swallowed a smile. There is no way that the high and mighty PTEF will want a woman to be his


    when she is still with another man. Nick Alcantara doesn''t share.

    She looked around his private office after organizing her desk. For a man with a lot of money, his room


    is very simple. He doesn''t have any pictures of his family which made her wonder why. Then she heard


    her phone. Derick is calling. She might still be a little annoyed with him but she can''t hide the fact that


    she always misses him.


    "Derick?"


    "Honey. Good morning." he greeted in that croaky voice of his.


    She is now wondering whether he really sounds this way or not. There are many things he wants to


    hide from her, his looks and probably even his natural voice. What a very mysterious man he is!


    She just sighed.


    Well that''s one of the things she liked about him anyway. Besides, ording to him she just has to wait


    for probably a few more weeks then she will finally see him. That made her smile a little.


    "I missed you." she said a little huskily .


    She feels happy when she''s with him or just by talking with him.


    "Really honey?" he asked.


    "Yes. I do. I always miss you. And I want you to know that I am wearing the bracelet today." she told


    him.


    "That''s good."


    She frowned. There''s something different about him. He doesn''t sound happy talking to her.


    "Derick? Is anything wrong?" she asked worriedly.


    "Thank you for the trust Derick." she said huskily.


    "I can''t wait for Friday honey..." he said in his throaty voice.


    "Me too."


    Feeling happy and excited, she said goodbye to him.

    She was still daydreaming about Derick when the door was flung open. Her monster boss finally came


    back. He has a stony expression. He mmed the door after him. She almost shook her head in


    disapproval but it''s his door so he is free to break it if he wished to.


    She was pretending to be busy sketching something when she heard him say, " I thought about what


    you said a while ago."


    She raised her face to look at him. He is standing beside her. She didn''t speak as she stares at him.


    She has her fingers crossed under the table. She is praying silently that he would say no. Her


    rtionship with Derick is alreadyplicated and it will be moreplicated if Nick will not leave her


    alone.


    She gasped when all of a sudden he grabbed her wrist and pulled her up .. then his lips went down to


    hers. The kisspletely caught her off guard. Now Nick started to nip her upper lip then her bottom


    one which is sending a thousand of voltages in her body. Her hands moved to their own ord . One


    of them came up to the side of his face and the other one went to his left bicep. He , on one hand has


    his arms around her to support her back as he deepens the kiss.


    His tongue is in battle with hers. They have their eyes closed as they do their French kiss. They are


    moaning.


    She opened her eyes when she heard someone gasped.


    "OH MY GOD!" a female voice eximed.
