I have been inspired by works like lord of mysteries and perfect run to take up the writers quill, and hope you will enjoy your dive into the world of Eldrethys as much as I enjoyed writing about it. This is a progression fantasy with a unique power system, based on ritualistic magic, the divine and the demonic. It is inspired by the likes of Warhammer 40k, just in a vastly different setting and timeperiod. The time period is high medieval, and power is held by the various churches. I have taken inspiration from real-life examples to create its inhabitants and societies. It wont be as relevant at the start, but I very much plan to have some political intrigue and perhaps some wars later on.I will try to make sure to have a backlog to regularly publish new chapters, and am participating in the writathon to motivate myself. The chapter length is around 5000-6000 words each chapter.As a note here, this is a grimdark fantasy, and it is rather dystopian. There will be mentions of sensitive content, the combat will contain gore and brutality, and the MC is creative with his choice of swear words. If this isn't something for you, perhaps dip your toes in, but don't feel guilty about closing the book if it's too much.
