    With thest trace of hope on her mind, Lydia was waiting for his reply.


    Euan nced at her coldly and without emotion. His face was devoid of any expression.

    again he started to ask, “Do you think that I care so much about this child?”


    Euan’s tone was mechanical which made him sound like he wasn’t talking to a woman who was


    bearing his own child.


    Lydia felt her back bing tense as her soft hands balled into fists, “Euan… What do you mean?”


    Euan tossed the document in his hands onto the floor, which caused Lydia to slip a little.


    “What do I mean? Do you think I wouldn’t learn of that with how much time we have spent together?”


    The man’s cold and distant features brought out his vicious conviction as he studied her expression.
