Chapter 14 The Two Stayed in the Vi at Night
Euan put Riley on the sofa of the living room when they got back to the vi; there was a first aid box
beside the sofa. It was the same as the night they experienced before. Riley had a frown because she
felt much hurt on her knee as well as she found Euan was much emotionally abnormal on the recent a
couple of days.
Riley had a look at Euan who sat on the sofa reading the document. He leaned on the back of sofa,
looking so cold and elegant; especially then under a floormp’s light, his eyshes cast shadow of a
fan on the lower eyelid.
Riley admitted she would be obsessed with Euan whenever seeing him.
She turned to look at her wound on the knee. She took off the bandage carefully; it was too much pain
that caused her almost scream. The wound got worse and blood was sticky to the bandage which was
greatly difficult to take off. She had to do it slowly.
When Riley was making it, Euan did not see her at all, just saying easily, “You have to live in the vi
recently.”
Riley was surprised to hear it and raised her head to see Euan. Before she asking anything, Euan had
known what she was thinking from her eyes. He turned to another page of his document and said, “I
will not live here with you.”
Riley was some of embarrassed and felt like losing face for Euan’s question. He knew what she was
thinking. But she had to deny it, “Of course I know. I would like to ask you whether someone else will
be here.”
Such as Lydia.
If Euan also lived in the vi, Lydia woulde to meet him. She was thest one in the world whom
Riley loved to see.
Euan seemed to be unhappy. He believed Riley said he was someone else.
He said, “Someone else has lived in the vi for three years.”
Riley got to know Euan’s unhappiness, but she did not know what to say. Obviously, both of them were
giving tit for tat to each other, simply but too irritating.
She asked, “Why asked me to live here? My own condo was cozy to live in. I am afraid I should not
bother you in your vi.”
The half of bandage had been off the wound. Riley started to take off thest half, but she was getting
more sweater on forehead with more pain. Finally, she was too angry with Euan to feel the pain
anymore.

Euan said, “Hendrix just returned. He would like to know more about my life and will visit the vi for
sure. But I have not got the exact time.”

Riley said with a cold smile, “We have to y the roles for your younger brother?”
Euan had a look at her. He would like to do anything to stop her from saying these mean words, “You
are not a new yer.”
“Thanks to you.”
Riley took off all the bandage and wiped her sweat on the forehead with her hand. She had some pink
on her radiant white face with much sweater as well the pale lips bitten hard by herself. She did not
look so strong for just one second, but it touched someone’s heart.
Riley continued to say, “If you try to let Mr. Hendrix George believe we live here together and deeply
love each other, I need something from you. Even if you don’t n to live here, could you please send
some of your belongings here and make them easily seen?”
Euan watched her speaking lips and then swift his eyes soon, “Sure.”
Riley applied the medicine on her wound and looked at the big living room. Luxurious and high-ss as
it was, the vi was not a perfect one for a family’s life, without warmth and love here.
Euan said, “Please go to buy anything you need.” He got a golden card from the pocket of his suits to
give Riley.
Riley saw the card and asked, “Anything?”
Euan nced at her with nothing to say.
She was allowed to buy anything she liked with the money or card he gave to her. Nevertheless, Euan
was surprised that Riley had never paid for anything by his credit card as an authorized user in the
three years, even he believed Riley married him only to get wealth.
Sometimes, he was eager to know why Riley married him? Money might not be the only reason; was
there anything else she would like to get?
Riley had her wound well wrapped and said with a smile, “You are so nice. Thank you very much!”
Euan said quietly, “You’re wee.”
It was getting dark at night. They sat separately with a sofa in the middle, nothing to talk.
It was too quiet and peaceful in the living room. Riley started to enjoy the peace.
Enjoying the peace?
Riley shook her head to keep herself clear; she did not believe Euan also enjoyed the moment.
Euan read the two documents many times, almost keeping all the terms in his mind. He kept doing it to
stay here.
Out of his expectation, he did not feel any disturbed here with Riley whom he considered to be up to
something bad.
This was some different experience with what Euan got for living alone.
Riley decided to leave first. She held the sofa to stand up and had a bit on her lips, talking with the cold
Euan, “I have to take a shower.”
Euan did not expect Riley to tell him she would have a shower. It wasmon between the husband
and wife. Euan started to imagine just then Riley said “Honey, I have to take a shower.”
“Ok.” Euan said.
Riley did not think Euan was going to live here. It was toote and the time for him to leave. How would
he have a good sleep if leaving toote?
Riley asked him seriously and carefully, “Are you going to leave now?”
Euan was mad soon with her question; she was asking him to go?
He said, “Don’t worry. I hate to live together with you.”
“Great!” Then Riley got upstairs to her bedroom happily and closed the door hard.
Euan threw the documents on the table and stared at Riley’s room on the second floor. He almost lost
his mind to rush to kill her then!
Euan got his mobile phone and dialed his assistant’s number, “Come to YJ Vi to pick me up. Yep,
now!”
Elijah Parker did not understand why his boss was so angry and why did he go to the YJ Vi? He
knew Euan had not been there for three years.
Elijah parked the car just outside the vi. Euan was silent after getting in the car and probably
offended by somebody.
Elijah saw the light was on in the bedroom of the second floor and tried to ask Euan, “Mr. George, did
you forget to turn off the light? Or someone is in the room now?”

He understood what the house was like to Euan. It was a forbidden area in Euan’s life where only Riley
was allowed toe and go freely. Elijah certainly knew who was there in the room.
Euan said angrily, “Don’t bullshit. Get start.”
Elijah made fun of Euan and said, “Hey boss, you are here. Why not stay overnight? Riley rarelyes
to the vi. You should grab the chance.”
Euan continued to say, “Start. Or fuck off.”
Elijah said, “Ok, let’s go.”
Riley had a reced holiday on the next day.
For the first time, she cost three hours to buy lots of things with Euan’s credit card.
Riley felt greatly satisfied with the full trunk.
But she knew she had to do something more important than tidying up the vi.
Riley locked the vi and drove to the CBD.
She stopped near a top office building and looked up at the office area of her family’s business. giving a
bitter smile.
Riley had not visited here for long time.
Her father had ever done very well in the Watson family’s business before so that her family was
greatly prestigious. Since her younger sister, Freya Watson took over the business, people had not got
any good news about it. On contrast, more gossips about Freya herself was released by the media.

Riley did not work for her family’s business; it was natural that she did not hold any power here. As an
elder daughter in the family, it was still strange that no staff recognized her.
Riley seldom attended social parties. And before she went to an overseas university for a bachelor and
a master degree and stayed there for six years. No wonder few people knew there was an elder
daughter in the Watson family.
It was Freya who was well known and weed everywhere.
Riley heard Freya saying, “Meeting? Are you kidding? I have a facial appointment with my sweetie this
afternoon. Don’t you know?”
The secretary answered, “Freya, this is a meeting for our three parties. It will be significant to our
potential cooperation.”
“The guy just wants me to have a date with him! Contact Mr. Zane another day. I will go to meet him.”
“Freya, but…”
“Finish! Go out.”
The angry secretary had to leave Freya’s office soon. She could not ept she was med for doing
right jobs.
Riley neither epted Freya managed the business carried on from their father in such way.
She pushed the door hard to see Freya was ying her gel nails carefully. Freya thought her secretary
came back and asked, “What’s the matter?”
Riley said with a smile, “Don’t you know why I am here?”
The voice surprised Freya who raised her head to see Riley. Freya asked, “Riley, what are youing
for today?”
Riley walked towards her and said, “You really don’t understand? I think I am the better one to be
here.”
Freya stood up to said aggressively, “Do you regret letting me manage thepany? Now intend to
take it?”
Riley sneered, “Are you scaring?”
Freya said, “No. Should I scare of it? Since you are my elder sister?”
Riley sat on the sofa beside the desk and answered calmly, “I am happier if I am not.”
Freya gritted her teeth and said, “I am working, not free to talk more with you.”
Riley sat there with elbows on the desk and two hands holding together. She watched Freya dressed in
luxurious brands as well as her face having been done many stic surgeries. Freya really hated to
see her and talk with her.
Riley said, “I am not avable to chat with you. Ie to get your exnation about it.” then she threw
a VCD on the desk. In her mind, she preferred throwing it to Freya’s face to humiliate her.
Freya got it to see, “What’s this?”
Riley said a cold smile, “Watch it please. My dear sister.”
Freya was wondering what it was and turned on the video. She was getting unhappy with watching
more and totally annoyed atst.
“Is it amazing video? Freya, do you like the gift from me?”
