Giving Birth

    Giving Birth

ZOE and Cindy were out for an early walk in a nearby park when she ran into someone. She was

stunned by the impact and would have fallen if Cindy hadn’t made a quick move to support her

    body.

    “Shit!” Cindy cursed loudly.

“I’m sorry, miss,” the man who ran into Zoe said.

Cindy let go of Zoe after double-checking that she was standing properly. Following that, she

confronted the man. “Are you insane?” Cindy grabbed the man’s cor and drew him closer. “You

knew she was pregnant—the road was wide. How are you supposed to run into her?” she raged.

“That’s it, Cindy. He had no intention of doing it.”

“No. You almost fell because of this idiot,” she said, her voice filled with rage.

“I—I’m sorry,” the man said again, but Cindy was still clutching his cor. She tightened her grip

even more. Cindy appeared to be a courageous and strong man. Zoe was taken aback by how

    manly she appeared.

Then Zoe grabbed Cindy’s arm. “Enough of that. Let’s go,” she said, smiling at the nervous-looking

    man who was shaking.

Cindy violently let go of the man, causing him to fall to the ground. Before turning away, she even

gave the man a death re.

    “Come on, Zoe.

They ordered food when they arrived at the coffee shop. They sat in the chair in the corner and

began discussing what had just urred. The two of themughed about it. It’s a good thing the

shop only has a few customers. Customers on the inside are taking notice of them. And those

people appear to be covered in goosebumps as a result of theirughter.

“Oh my goodness, friend. You should have seen that man’s expression. He appears to urinate in his

pants due to nervousness. His body was trembling,” Cindy observed.

“It’s all your fault. You frightened him. Anyway, you’re cool at that moment. Did Calyx teach you

about these things? I thought you two weren’t getting along?” Zoe inquired.

Cindy hugged himself. “Don’t even bring up his name. Calyx has no concept of love. He is only

    interested in sex.”

Zoe chuckled softly and shook her head.

They continue their conversation when someone suddenly draws Zoe’s attention. She looked at the

neer to the coffee shop with wide eyes. Her focus was fixed on it while her friend bbered

    something she couldn’t understand.

When their gazes locked, she was taken aback. The man ced his hand inside his pocket and

announced that he would take their ce. She shivered as the man’s gaze remained fixed on her

    as he approached them.

Something inside her chest appears to be trying to escape. The feeling she was attempting to forget

    appears to have been triggered.

“Hey, Cindy,” she said. She even waved his hand in front of Zoe’s face to draw her attention to the

    man she was looking at.

When Cindy couldn’t regain her attention, she turned to face the man who had just stopped in front

of their table. Cindy then stood up in annoyance.

“What exactly are you doing here?”

The man smirked, said nothing, and walked away.

Zoe appears to want to cry as a result of the conflicting emotions she is experiencing. Cindy

bes concerned as she clutches her chest.

“Are you OK, Zoe?” she inquired.

She shook her head and turned to face her friend. Suddenly, tears began to fall from her eyes.

    “Hey…”

She began to break down. Her OB advises her not to stress herself this time. But now, after how

many months, the man she loves appears before her eyes, saying nothing.

Cindy began to panic, particrly when Zoe touched her baby bump.

“C-Cind...” she clung to the table’s edge, “I—I think... my water broke...”

Cindy abruptly stood up. Her hands were trembling as she held her friend as if she didn’t know what

    to do.

“Inhale. Exhale. Zoe...” She appears perplexed.

Cindy was about to speak when she was abruptly shoved aside, and the man she had been staring

at carried her away without permission.

“Bring her belongings.” “I’ll drive her to the hospital,” said the man.

It would have been fine, but he spoke firmly and coldly.

Zoe wanted to punch the man, but it appeared that her child was ready toe out.

‘Baby, your father is helping us,’ she thought.

She was happy despite her squirming.

Helios gently ced Zoe inside the car after Cindy opened the door.

“C-Cindy, call mom and aunt. My things—ah!”

“Shh, don’t talk,” Helios said. “Save your energy.”

“Yes. Just rx,” Cindy advised. And she was taken aback when Helios looked at her.

“Calm down, Zoe...” said Helios, his voice low and husky.

Cindy muttered, “I’m going to punch her handsome face, Zoe. Stop me, please,” she said, gritting

    her teeth.

Zoe was able tough despite her squirming because of what her friend said.

Helios, surprised, looked in the rearview mirror while driving.

Cindy then pretended to pull her cell phone out.

Zoe frowned and rubbed her belly as she looked out the window.

“Hey aunt, we’re going to the hospital because Zoe is about to give birth.”

Zoe turned to face her. She assumed it was all a ruse until she discovered Cindy was actually her

    mother.

“Yes, at St. Benedict’s. OK,” Cindy said before hanging up the phone.

Helios tightened his grip on the steering wheel.

It hurt him to see Zoe be pregnant and eventually give birth. He’s a jerk because he can only

    put her in danger.

If only he didn’t have problems, he could be the one by her side as they start a family.

    “St. Benedict Medical Center.”

Helios nodded, and that’s where he led Zoe. He is overjoyed because the medical team acted

    immediately.

His n was revealed in the coffee shop scenario. He followed her when he saw her in the park

    with Cindy.

He had been keeping an eye on Zoe from a safe distance for quite some time. But he makes certain

that no one notices his every move. Especially the mafia organization he’s been to.

When he has a business meeting in the Philippines, he always finds a way to see her.

Before saying goodbye, Helios took Zoe to thebor room. It’s dangerous when someone sees him

    with her.

He wants to put an end to everything before coaxing the girl again, even if it means leaving them...

    again.

    …

“IT’S A GIRL,” said the doctor.

Zoe has no idea how she feels after seeing her little angel crying and wiggling her soft little hands.

She is happy, but she is also hurt and feels iplete. Helios left again because of the thought.

Helios didn’t even bother greeting her or asking if she was OK. Or even wait until the child is born.

Because of the mixed emotions—fun and excitement—she almost kissed Helios earlier. If she

hadn’t been able to restrain herself, she would have kissed the man. In her eyes, he appeared even

    more appealing.

“H Selene Lincoln,” she said before the darkness enveloped her. This belongs ? N?velDra/ma.Org.
