Pinned To The Wall

    Pinned To The Wall

    Zoe’s POV

Two days had passed, and Helios’s father was discharged yesterday. We visited him and even had

    dinner with them.

I was amazed at how vast and elegant their house was. The Lincolns are really rich. However, I

really wonder why they need to hire too many bodyguards. Don Lincoln is not the President of the

    estate, so why?

He killed the former President—ugh, here I am again, judging. I don’t know the whole truth nor the

other side of the story, so I can’t pinpoint who’s who. But rumors had it, Don Lincoln killed the

    President.

The old man is still treating me coldly even if I told him that I was just joking the other day. Helios

introduced me as his secretary at the same time, the woman he was coaxing. And will be his future

    wife.

    Wife?

That sounds perfect every time he’s saying it. And I couldn’t help but feel ttered.

However, saying this in front of Don Lincoln seems like it angers him. He dislikes that idea—he

opposes it right in front of us.

But the hell do I care?

It’s not that I’m gonna ept it.

    “Care to share your thoughts?”

I frowned and looked up and met Helios’s gaze. He was standing right in front of my desk outside of

    his office.

“Do you need something, Sir?” I asked, teasing him. Well, we’re at work. Professionalism and

    respect are a must.

I saw how his forehead creased. “Sir? Didn’t I tell you that call me Helios?”

I smiled and leaned on my chair. “I understand that, Sir. But what if your employees will hear about

it? What will they think? Didn’t I tell you that we need to keep everything private?”

A sly smirk crept into his lips as he put his hands inside the pocket of his trousers. “Oh, says theProperty ? 2024 N0(v)elDrama.Org.

woman who pretended to be my wife in the hospital—a public establish—”

“From now on, I will call you SIR when we’re at work and call you Helios or Hel after. How about

    that?”

“Hmm…” he shook his head. “No. Call me, Helios, if no one’s around—”

“I will just call you baby then,” I cut off the hum of his words, teasing him.

I saw how his lips parted, making me bite my lower lip.

“Are you really testing my patience, are you? And you dared—”

“Oh, you have a meeting at three!” I cut off and pulled the yellow sticky note that I ced at the side

of the monitor. “And…” I nced at my wristwatch before meeting his sharp gaze once again, “—it’s

about time, baby,” I added and winked at him.

He snorted and gritted his teeth. “Prepare to be punished when we get back home,” he said and

    left.

Soon as I can’t see his build. I sighed in relief.

“Geez, what’s wrong with him?” I whispered and got back to work.

I am his secretary, but he doesn’t even want me to follow him. Supposedly to be, we were going to

the meeting together, but he said he didn’t want me to get tired.

    Duh?

I am his secretary. I am working. So, it’s normal to get tired if there are many of paperwork to do.

I just don’t know what’s in his mind.

I busied myself, piling and printing all the documents that he needed. When I was done, I walked

toward his office and put the papers in front of his desk. I also received all the reports per

    department as per hismand.

After that, I am vacant again.

I took a deep breath and sighed as I stood up.

I nced at my wristwatch, and it was already five in the afternoon. I wonder if his meeting is

    already done.

As per his client’s wants, she wants to meet Helios in a restaurant.

    She and the restaurant?

Hmm… guess that woman might be interested in Helios.

Thinking about this made meugh. I don’t know what he will be Helios if he sees her.

    ‘Aren’t you jealous?’

    Shouted my subconsciousness.

I shook my head. “Why would I be jealous?”

    “Jealous to whom?”

“Ahh!” I screamed, “What the hell?! You scared me!” I yelled as I clutched my chest and red at

    him.

He arched his brow. “Who are you talking to?”

Helios was standing behind me while I was waiting for the elevator to open.

“Why didn’t I see you? I just got back from your office. Did you teleport?”

Heughed. “No. You’re just upied that you didn’t see me. You’re here, standing in front of the

elevator, not knowing that it opened, and I am just in front of you?”

    “W-What?!”

Helios shook his head. “Drop it. Anyway, who’s jealous?”

“Jealous? Did I ever say that?” I asked and pressed my lips together. I pushed the open button and

    entered inside.

I frowned when he entered. “What are you doing?”

    “Following my wife.”

“Wife? The game is over Helios. I am your secretary.”

Helios’s forehead creased, and he stopped the elevator door to close as he pulled me out of it.

“What the hell are you doing?”

    However, he didn’t reply.

    “Helios!”

“Babe,” he stopped and turned to me, “keep quiet. They might hear us,” he added.

“Hear us? We’re on the top—” I didn’t finish my words when he pinned me to the wall and pressed

    his lips into mine.

I was trying to push him away, afraid that someone would go up and might see us but his kisses

started to drown me so deep that I couldn’t resist.

He nibbled my lips as he cupped my face; he deepened it and even bit the lower one, making me

    gasp.

He darted his tongue inside me and battled with my tongue; a moan slipped out of my mouth when

he sucked the tip of my tongue.

His hand kneaded my right breast, and I could feel the warmth that lingers through the fabric of my

    clothing.

I encircled my hands into his nape, and he carried me until I felt the movement of his body, walking

    towards his office.
