"What''s wrong?" Alicia''s face shed with dismay, her eyes ncing over him as she asked, "You
have an illness? How long do you have left to live? Do I have my name on the heir to the estate?"

Edmond didn''t take it well.
"Do I expect me to die?"
"If not, why are you suddenly so sentimental?"
