Chapter 21 Maybe I Am the Different One
Lauren saw a beautiful and charmingdy staring at her and her heart unconsciously skipped a
beat.
And she had a good-shaped figure...>
Lauren thought and felt a little embarrassed by Alicia''s gaze.
"Sorry for disturbing you, Miss. I shall turn it to mute."
Alicia smiled and didn''t say anything to the pure and innocent girl.
After a moment, Lauren couldn''t help talking to Alicia again.
"Miss, is your family in the operating room?"
Her eyes fell on the thermos in Alicia''s hand.
Alicia hesitated for a few seconds and nodded.
"Don''t worry, the surgeon in the operating room is Edmond, the best one in the hospital. Your family
will be fine with him."
Lauren mistakenly thought that Alicia''s family was undergoing emergency medical treatment.
Alicia didn''t know how to exin it and responded perfunctorily, "Really?"
"Yes, haven''t you heard of Dr. Agos? My mother was almost killed in a car ident six months ago,
and the sess rate of her surgery was less than 10%. However, Dr. Agos saved my mother
sessfully."
It sounded like the girl admired Edmond so much and took him as an idol.
"That''s quite powerful."
Alicia didn''t realize that her tone was a little jealous.
Lauren continued.
"Dr. Agos is an excellent person. Nurses said that he had many girlfriends, but I still love him."
"Though knowing that he''s a yboy?"
The girl lowered her eyes and her ears were rosy, answering shyly, "Maybe... I can be the different
one."

Alicia stopped.
She had heard simr answers so many times and was tired of it in her college years. All of
Edmond''s pursuers were confident that they could win the love rat''s heart and make Ed return to
the family.
Groups of hot girls in bars expected it.
So did Diane.
Only Alicia, his wife, kept sober.
It was so ridiculous.
But no one knew that Alicia once had a short-term illusion for Edmond like those girls.
In her college, Alicia had been a frequent visitor to the library due to her roommate, but the
changeable roommate had just three-minute passions for Edmond. In less than a month, she liked
the senior in the journalism department.
Alicia, however, had developed the habit of reading and studying in the library every day.
Alicia sat in the farthest corner from Edmond and was addicted to learning, but she didn''t expect
Edmond toe over and talked to her on his own initiative.
"Your library card is dropped."
Alicia raised her head, looked into his enchanting eyes, and her heart skipped a beat.
"Thank you."
Edmond nced at the data she was reading and identally raised his eyebrows.
"You''re from the medical department?"
"Just browse it."
"You can ask me if there are any questions."
Edmond might say it causally, but his words made Alicia feel that she was special to Edmond.
So the next day, Alicia built up her courage and went to ask Edmond for the information.
Edmond showed an open-door attitude and answered all her questions.

After some days when Alicia realized her affection for Edmond, she was invited by Peter to the
Agos family and got more familiar with Edmond.
However, it was not until the day when she got up the courage to date Edmond on her own initiative
that Alicia was severely pped by reality.
In the hot summer, as soon as she walked out of the school gate, Alicia saw a scene across the
street: A pure and lovely girl hugged Edmond''s arm and stood on tiptoe to lick the ice cream in his
hand.
Alicia took a look and then turned around and threw the Epoxy Resin key chain that she had spent
two days making into the trash can.
Her love for Edmond was also thrown away with the key chain at that time.
