"I… this. ." Allia Ming stuttered and trembled in fear.
Her hands shook while her sweat started to form out of her skin.
"I hope that you read the important details. I will let you off, considering the old feelings you had
with my father. But the next time you would dare do anything, already expect your end And of
your son."
Rawlf then started to walk out of the conference room.
Seeing this, Allia Ming walked fast and blocked his path. She knelt down on both knees and
surrendered to her current miserable situation, kowtowing to the man in front.
"Please, I beg you. Your brother needs your help, if you''re not going to take this fact into
consideration, at least that he is your father''s son too. You have to help him! Please!"
Rawlf just looked at the kowtowing woman below him, this scene looks pitiful however, Rawlf
knowing what this woman is exactly capable of felt indifferent instead.
"I asked my father how to deal with you," Rawlf paused then continued, "He only said one line and
that is…., "You are my only son."
Allia Ming looked up to Rawlf, startled.
''How…how could it be? She thought she sessfully hid it! Even she tried to deceive herself all
throughout the years so how could…''
Rawlf was unbothered by the woman''s expression then stared at the secretary beside him.
Secretary Ryan was quick to act and soon enough, security arrived. Shortly, the kowtowing woman
was screaming and cursing Rawlf for being selfish and wanted to get rid of Rudolph because he felt
threatened of his existence to his position in Sy International while being dragged out by the security in
a rather forceful way.
Rawlf just ignored this and strode to another hallway that will lead him to his office, Secretary Ryan
followed him, shaking his head while trying to contain hisughter at what the Ming Madam screamed
about Rawlf earlier.
It''s the same with the other staff of Sy International who were able to hear the screaming of the
woman.
''There President Rawlf Sy? Feeling threatened of an ipetent bastard? Who is she joking
with?''
They uttered in obvious contempt.
About the same time in Country R, the old master Sy and madam Sy were alone in the pavilion
made of stone at the backyard garden of the castle.
Earlier, Veronica''s parents were with them enjoying their early evening tea, looking at the rich
garden in full bloom while their grandchildren already slept for the night.
Seeing Rawlf called him, the old master Sy put his phone in loud speaker thinking he was asking
them of the twins. Who would have thought that the first thing he said as soon as he answered his call
was something about that shameless woman from the Ming threatening to stripped herself naked if
Rawlf won''t meet her.
He could only tell him about what he briefly saidst time and nced at Vanessa.
Understanding that the older Sy couple had something to talk about issues between them, the
Wang couple excused themselves.
And presently, they''re both alone together, in total silence.
Old master Sy cleared his throat to speak but Vanessa stood up to walk away. "We need to talk."
Madam Vanessa paused and replied coldly, "There is nothing to talk about." "There is, Vanessa.
Between us."
"We have… indeed.. people between us. A son, a future daughter-inw, and grandchildren. They
are the only people that I consider to at least be civil with you. Aside from that, there''s nothing left
between us, Robert."
"Vanessa. I…."
Seeing that Vanessa is really walking away, Robert decided to confess the truth once and for all,
"Rawlf is my only son."
Madam Vanessa paused and sighs. "I know." Old master Sy this time was astonished.
''She knew?! Then how?!'' His eyes were filled with extreme confusion. If she knew, then why was
she still so indifferent throughout the years with him?!

"I know that Rawlf is only your son. Ric is a son of your dead friend from the underworld. Rudolph
was that woman''s son from another man. I know it all Rudolph, I''ve known it through the years."
Old master Sy remained speechless. His face was indescribably aghast. He looked at the woman
before him. She was also already looking at him.
"You''re wondering why was I still indifferent with you despite knowing it all?",
Madam Vanessa heaved a sigh before continuing, "it''s because clearly, you love your pride more
than you ever imed you love me."
"Vanessa ….I…" Old master Sy walked to approach her but Vanessa moved away to put distance
between them.
"I''ve been watching everything for the past years Robert. And unfortunately for you, I understood
everything… your purpose and intention. I could see it all. I still could be civil with you, for the sake of

Old master Sy''s whole being shook by this!
He remained rooted on the ground watching the only woman in his heart leave.
"A man who truly loves a woman wouldn''t want to see her get hurt, Robert. Love was never
vindictive."
Madam Vanessa walked away, with her usual cold eyes shedding a single tear. A single tear for
the years that quickly passed by.
Years ago, before Vanessa and Robert found each other, Vanessa had a highschool sweetheart.
However, that high school sweetheart could no longer bear the inferiority he felt every time he was with
Vanessa because her family was wealthier than his and decided to break things between them to study
college abroad and hopefully be a better man for her.
That''s the man''s lifetime wrong move as he was so confident with Vanessa''s love for him that she
won''t even try finding any other man.
Unfortunately for the teenage sweetheart, it is in college that Robert and Vanessa found each
other.
Robert considered their first meeting as ''love at first sight'' to the oblivious Vanessa who was still
trying to move on from a terrible heartache. However, due to Robert''s determination to woo her and
also making her feel treasured and loved, Vanessa fell for him gradually.
By second year in college, after almost two years of courtship, Vanessa finally epted and
reciprocated Robert''s feelings and since then, they were stronger until marriage, and even until they
have Rawlf.
However after many years, the teenage sweetheart returned and asked Vanesa out.
Vanessa, considering that she at least shared old feelings with that man, met him. However, that
man was still after all, held deep feelings for her and with the persuasion of another woman no other
than Allia Ming, he tried to deceive Vanessa by making her drink a spiked ss of wine.
Indeed, Vanessa fainted and the man brought her to a hotel. And helplessly, Vanessa was raped.
