    It was five in the morning the next day that Veronica woke up, once again, tightly embraced by


    Rawlf.


    His arms snakes around her waist as he spoon her on the bed. She had set a schedule that day to


    meet up with her good friends but that was stillter at noon.


    Knowing as her schedule is free that morning, she decided to indulge herself being embraced by


    Rawlf Sy.


    Rawlf was wide awake minutes before Veronica did but he wanted to take the moment enjoying


    the feeling of pure bliss having her in his arms.


    When he felt her stirred, he pretended to be still asleep but tightened his hold on her to prevent her


    from moving away from him just in case.


    Last night was, he believed, one of the best things in his life till date. He never understood the


    importance of human connection if not for her. And that night, he finally was able to experience it.

    Ifst night it''s with another kind of woman, for sure, he''ll have to face a lot of drama and gasping


    episodes. But it''s not like it mattered to him though, as long as it''s her, he would never mind getting


    acquainted with her many colours.


    He was already looking forward to seeing an angry or pouting Veronica, annoyed Veronica, bubbly


    Veronica, excited Veronica, all things Veronica.

    Rawlf himself was now rmed by how possessive and obsessed he had be of her. Maybe


    he needed to take time and go on meditating on this, he thought.


    Sensing as Veronica fell back to sleep, Rawlf carefully moved not to wake her up to start his day

    "Vivi, you just don''t know how worried we had been after you and your family vanished like thin air.

    "Yvette!" The rest, Pearl, Rose, Pa, Floyd and Gedmaire synchronized but were undeniably

    Veronica sighed looking at her friends who were also looking at her, their faces screamed for an


    exnation from her.


    "I know it''s insensitive of me but I am not trying to justify my past actions. It''s just that I guess,


    everything was all too sudden and the chaos was all over the ce.. aside from that, I was


    unconscious from aa for almost a month." Veronica tried to be sincere exining things to her


    friends but leaving out another tragedy that had befallen her when she was seven months pregnant so

    The heavy conversation with her friends continued on for another two hours and s, Veronica

    "So you wanted to find a good spot for a cafe?" Rose asked, brimming with her entrepreneur

    "You could have said much earlier you know." Rose teased, "I think I could have you rent one


    building mypany owned. The location is perfect for what you have in mind."


    "Wow friend, I still can''t help being awed by this new you. What has the business world ever done


    to the frozen Rose before?" Veronica teased and continued, "Rather, how about considering selling the


    building to me?" Veronica negotiated.


    Everyone''s eyes widened after hearing what Veronica had said. Gedmaire was first to recover. "So


    you''re super rich now, Miss Wang?'' How about hiring us at yourw firm."


    Veronica rolled her eyes, "It''s not like I still don''t know yet that you, Floyd and Pearl owned the


    Reg Trium Law Firm."


    "How about considering joining our firm? I mean as one of the owners." Pearl quipped in a gentle


    voice.


    "That''s a good n. Besides, the firm had been very sessful and sought after by many people


    in City I." Floyd added.


    "Friends," Veronica started. "I know that you were trying to be as amodating as possible for


    my sudden return but thew firm I had in mind will only deal with corporations. Reg Trium I


    believed was established by the three of you to also help those people who are financially incapable of


    gettingwyers for themselves. Yourw firm is another benevolent institution.

    "Alright then. I''ll send someone for you to check the ce and if it''s to your liking, just contact my


    secretary right away so it can be process.I would have personally tour you around the area if not only


    for the fact that I need to attend a business convention in City M tomorrow and I''ll be leaving for the city


    tonight." Rose right away agreed which made Veronica shake her head.


    After everything she went through, she''s still fortunate to have good friends who stayed by her side
