Introduction: Every week, the Hero kills the Demon King.Every week, I try to stop him. Wright celebrated with the rest of humanity when he felt the Release — the sign of the Demon King’s defeat. The only problem is that six seconds later, the entire world erupted in flames, completely destroying all men and monsters.So that’s it, you’d think. Show’s over. Time to go home.Wrong.Wright staves off eternal damnation, instead waking up in his bed one week prior to the Final Battle. There is a voice in his head calling itself ‘The Sis-Tem’, and it insists that the only way to avoid the end of the world is to stop Humanity’s Greatest Warrior from killing the Demon King.Having nothing else to do but drink mead and preach his doomsday tale, Wright takes up Sis-Tem’s quest. He will bite, kick, stab and grind his way through any obstacle, all in pursuit of the ‘Levels’ that Sis-Tem grants and the boons that come with it.Some week, he won’t be ranked as a lowly Tin.Some week, Quartz will flow through his veins, granting him to the power to defeat the untouchable, infallible, exhaustingly annoying Hero.Oh, and that other thing.The power to save the world. Expect:- A pretty lean System (*cough* Sis-Tem *cough*).- Bit of a slacker MC, but knows when to kick it into gear. - Ancient arcana, sword fighting, vicious monsters, a turtle on psychedelics. - World exploration full of history, religion and consequence. - A good time.
