Writathon Submission. Writ of Dreams follows Lu, a newborn phantasm; a blue, monkey-like creature who embarks on an ambitious quest to construct a system from scratch. Armed with knowledge from another world, Lu aims to uplift a kingdom through the application of science and innovation. What to Expect:-Genres and Tags may change. I am new to writing and don't know precisely the story I am writing.-No Harem EVER. I am in the crowd of people who drops stories when that tag is hidden. Hate it. I do like romance, but not with nonhuman leads.-SLOW BURN: An example of a slow burn that randomly sped things up: Singer, Sailor, Merchant, Mage. This story is great before the hiatus, they sped up their MC's development randomly and that made me sad. I'm NOT gonna do that. There might be months that pass in a single line. I will not have time skips along the order of years.-Gruesome. I don't like combat scenes, but like the circumstances they find themselves in. In begrudging acceptance, I will write combat. But it will be brutal and over quick.-Writing that gets better as time goes on. Look, I'm a mathematician, not an English major. I have been avoiding writing as much as possible all my life because I thought the projects they gave us were really boring. The more I write in this story the better I understand my process, and the better a chapter will feel. Overgeared sucked in the beginning, Writ of Dreams will too. I'll change the beginning and the bad chapters that have happened since then whenever I feel like a more competent writer.Release schedule: Daily during the Writathon. When the Writathon is over, I will AIM for daily, but not be beholden to it. If I need extra time, a better chapter is more important than getting it out before midnight.*After and during the Writathon, I plan on fixing the early chapters.
