 After- The beginning

    Stopped at the entrance as he was to reach his hand out and hold the death closely , a sense of fear arised stating ,"what''s the matter isn''t this you were always hoping? You who disregarded life to get the biggest salvation called death . Why have you stooped so low to not even follow one god damn thing you always wanted . Why? " His voice shattered as he was reaching his hand out to get to the death. The line that everyone fears to cross while he who always longed for it is now questioning his own beliefs. Before we begin the story , I would like to ask what is the reason you are alive ? Is it because you have life or is it because death has yet to come to your door. People often describe their desires as their reason to live .....


    .A loud noise was heard which not so unheard of . The gate which always open for a new beginning has opened again this time . A man was sitting with a sense of worry and patience. He had his hands on his fore head as if he has the burden of whole world on him . His right leg was making sound with sense as if his life was on the line .A door silently opened and a woman was holding a baby on her hand covered with silk white clothes .The man seeing this stood up hurrily to see the baby. " He is a boy . He is my baby , MY baby."said the man with a smile on his face as if dawn has come but tear started to fall like how snow falls to show the beginning of new season.

    Ahh now I remember The man is in hospital who is waiting on the corridor to know and to feel the longing of his life. life as if he was being born again .The wife who was lying on the bed unconsciously ,slowly opened her eyes and saw her husband holding the child."His nose goes right after you , probably will be as stubborn and persistent as you . He is twilight for us , isn''t he " a gentle smile could be seen and her eyes sparkled when she said. "I also feel the same." While nodding as stubbornly one could he replied. "Lycoris " she whispered.What , LYCORIS. That''s beautiful ! Why don''t we name him Lycoris " he said with a loud sound while gently holding the tiny hand of the boy.


    Lycoris, the beginning, a new starting or should I say a life . " Now LIFE has come into existence." ....

 Time Skip

    " I see it has already been 17 year , hasn''t it ? Look at my boy growing up so fast. " The man said with a very low voice while sitting on his chair holding news paper on his hand as he saw Lycoris leaving his room for his high school classes.A boy of height around 173 cm , neither thin nor fat was running fast on side road . It seems like he was being late to catch his bus. Oh there''s another one running along side him . Looking like someone who can be clumsy but now that I see he is quite charismatic. Lycoris waving his wand while , " Hey, how have you been ? As always huh , being late once again ."The body didn''t even moved his lip but ran along with him , seems so indifferent like ice cold persona that has all the qualities of a fighter." Darius , angry , sad or indifferent." Lycoris put his hand on his shoulder while smiling asked."You know it too , don''t you ? You are in no position to say I am late ." Darius sharp gaze could give shiver to anyone as he stated it." Ha ha ha , look we aren''t that far to reach . Let''s run more faster." His pupil moved the other direction and the hesitation to not being able to argue could be seen in his face. These two are friends since childhood so thus this closeness is no surprise. But as the saying goes friendship isn''t all about how many years you were together rather how many fights and arguments you could handle with no worry of one ounce of misunderstanding.They have now reached the entry point. The gate was 20 inches long , and 24 inches broad. The school could be seen from miles far too which was surrounded by walls of 16 inches. Above the gate lied three big words in golden color which represented the place which are "B.S.D". Except for few , no one new the meaning of this and was never in the history nor in future was it disclosed as if this holded a deeper meaning.

    Before they could be in awe loud noises brought them into reality. Now has the time come for them to face a very big and tough obstacle to face which is no different to any others. Everyone has their own specific reaction to this obstacles but for these two this is nothing new but always surprising.

 The Casual Clash

    An unusual crowd , loud noises but suddenly it became quiet like someone has put gun over the head . No one was uttering a single word . This silence rose a curiosity among all as what happened for this crowd to not even say a word now.A figure holding a thick diary , he seemed to be in his 60s but still youth could be seen in him . He was exposing a vibe that could melt even cold iron with his sharp gaze. Beside him is beauty like lily ; seems delicate but has her own sharpness , there is depth in her personality yet softness on her voice that can even calm demons as such her melody is...With a loud voice that can be heard in whole school spoke Mr.Cezar,"Silence! We have today called upon a newly recruited teacher who will be responsible for the school disciplinary and monitoring actions. From today onward , treat her as if you are treating your Director."As the statement ended a soft voice arose,"I am your new teacher Mrs.Gaea. I will be responsible for you all . Thus , starting this semester we will conduct many programmmes and activities which you should look forward to it gladly ."All those who were present started muttering to each other , discussing about what might be implemented. Lycoris on the other hand had seen something terrifying in the midst of all these things .The world was too peaceful which made no one curious as if why suddenly we got a teacher of such caliber . That is since most activities that are unheard to people of this world lurks in the shadow of chaos.


    A doubt rose in his mind : A shadow with red scarlet eyes watching everything from beneath everyone shadows ; maybe it''s all delusion. Saying this he came to his senses and found himself to be in the cafeteria. " Wait , what ! Wasn''t I just listening to Mrs.Gaea lecture !! How come I am suddenly here ?" Lycoris panicked , his hands couldn''t stop shivering. The shock seeing all thing while knowing nothing made his subconsciously be in a state of confusion and fear. Darius raised his eyebrows in sense of confusion said," What are you saying ? You have been with me this whole time . Don''t you remember, we have off period so came here to see the fun ." "What fun? Since when did our school allowed such ." Lycoris put all his thoughts aside and focused on thinking and answering his friends words with serious eyes that is capable enough to put one into shivering state."Look yourself. There''s a fight going on. Mrs.Gaea arranged it herself. She said that those who have potential to choose abyssal class can challange the seniors first. So most of them are trying ."explained Darius.He still couldn''t understand what was going and was still confused which made him curious and frightened both at the same time . His mouth shutter while saying," Whhaa whhaat fight are you talking ? And how can you say it casually as if this is a normal thing . Don''t forget we are in the B.S.G which prohibits....." The sentence wasn''t even complete but someone screamed WAKE UP , HEY LYCORIS WAKE UP DUDE . WHAT HAPPENED TO YOU WAKE UP!!Blur image , tree at the back and eye lid was half closed . He was trying but was hard for him to open his eyes. .....

 Chapter 4 : Confusion

    All of sudden his world changed. At one moment he was hearing and experiencing something that was unusual for his world while on the other he has his sensation of coming out of a long dream . It was hard for him to open his eyes as if he was drugged and couldn''t resist being into that world .


    A pungent scent and hard bed whole room decorated in white , a girl beside him sitting on a chair on the right side and on left side he could see his friend Darius beside him. It was Callie whom he saw sitting beside; his classmate as well as one of his best friend he could share his life sorrow and happiness together. She in his eyes was cute , someone who''s cuteness is hard to resist . Her character upholded her name. Beautiful in every aspect except that she was quite clumsy when being herself. Her attire was of a teenage girl who don''t much enjoy fashion to much extent yet whatever she wore couldn''t hide the beauty of her.


    Lycoris right after waking up came into panicking , though he was already on his senses he still couldn''t get off that feeling that he had experienced.He hurriedly asked with shear belief " Darius what you said to me was it for real?". Darius being confused with his half assed question questioned him"about what ?" . For a moment Lycoris frozen in the time of his owns . Thoughts clashed on him , questioned the reality of his own . After some time he couldn''t think of no more as everything was already full of confusion.


    Over the time Lycoris came to realise what he had experienced was merely illusion and sighed of relief .


    Sometimes questioning is good , you may get right or wrong answer but having even a little doubt on your answer is what brings out the hidden words in the answer. He experienced something which was beyond human logic yet something that could be comprehended. Dream -Illusion or Longing that''s what human give meaning to things that they somehow aren''t able to get to the point , yet are right Infront of it. They are feigning of the wall that''s Infront of them  which is what brings out the term dream or illusion.


    Darius seems completely in shock and asked ,"Lycoris , Why is your pupil colors fading ? Wait now it''s turning red . Do you feel pain in your eyes ? Can you see or not ?"


    After listening him with intense look , Lycoris didn''t say anything for few minutes. He stood still in his position silence rose in the room. Chill wind blew making the white curtain its medium to show the coldness the room hold. Even Callie was stunned for moments till Lycoris spoke with a grinning face , " Exactly , Pain , See , RED....". Darius and Callie were shocked and frightened with what they saw.


    To Lycoris it was merely mumbling due to confusion as he didn''t know his face turned creepy while his thoughts collapsed in the depth of confusion.


    But for his best friend and the girl Callie it felt like they were looking at someone who was right on the track of killing them.


    Before anyone could speak about their fear , a sharp wind came into the through window which broke the vase beside the bed. The red rose in the vase rolled to the leg of Callie and all of sudden rose turned white.


    Looking at this both of them now we''re scared to death ; one more incident as such and then dying of heart attack wouldn''t be a big thing.


    Darius and Callie looked at Lycoris and were about to say about the vase but Lycoris has now fallen asleep.


    A day has passed


    Another day has passed


    Now it''s the third day since Lycoris fell asleep but there''s no news of him being awake yet. The very fine Lycoris all of sudden fell asleep as soon as the rose lost it''s colour. Darius and Callie didn''t say anything about this to anyone and kept this as a secret to themselves.


    In there mind , they only thought of this to be a coincidence. But is it really the case. From awaking to the asleep of Lycoris , very few words were spoken yet those all words felt so heavy for Callie to bear.


    Mr. Cezar , the man with heavy responsibilities of every child in the school felt very uneasy about this incident. He went in the ward to check on the child who hasn''t opened his eyes for many days and the doctors can''t even pinpoint what''s the reason.


    The very unusual thing , the rose , which could be a factor of the Lycoris case was kept secretly by his best friend Darius. Mr.Cezar a man of unknowns looked at Lycoris ward and at a glance he knew something had happened which should not be disclosed to any body.


    Darius on the other hand afraid of something happening to his friend due to his eye came to ask for help to his brother Solas.


    Solas was man of unknowns as much as Mr.Cezar. Solas , what he do is something even his parents are unaware of which is why Darius felt reluctant to ask help from anyone but only his brother.


    "Brother , I have something I want to talk about . Though you never listen to me most of the time but just this once take my words seriously. I have come to encounter something very different, very unheard of .", said hurriedly.


    Solas was sitting on his sofa holding the book named " The beginning " a psychological book towards life. Solas with composed demeanour said to Darius," Ok continue I''m listening. Take a breathe first , you seemed to be like a rat hiding out of fear from a cat."


    Darius took a breathe of relief and said ," Brother, do you think roses can lose it''s colour out of nowhere? I saw , and not that but also I saw Lycoris eyes slowly changing into red crimson and then all of sudden he mumbled something really weird." Solas eye sharpened for split of a second and then he regained his composure and told Darius that he must have seen wrong or imagining and to forget about it.


    On the other hand Mr.Cezar took a pulse of Lycoris and left the hard with a tensed face.


    Mrs. Gaea looked at the window from the ground standing firmly beside the tree....

 Chapter 5: The Game begins

    Someone¡ªor something¡ªlurked in the shadows behind Lycoris, its presence sharp and unsettling. Eyes, filled with silent fury, locked onto Mrs. Gaea.


    A sudden, deafening crash erupted from the Class of Abyssal Grade.


    "Again?" Mrs. Gaea¡¯s voice trembled with restrained frustration. "You lot only know how to fight¡ªfight, fight, and fight!"


    Her glare swept across the room, burning through each student with such intensity that her glasses nearly cracked under the pressure.


    Myan Stood still ¡ª a loud sound uttered from a corner of the room ,"You done yet?"


    Nasur who''s fist was right at the Myan looked at Aster slowing tilting his head to his left sides. An anger face , gritting teeth , eyes that could pierce right through anyone .


    Mrs.Gaea , who had yet to get answer, looked at all three them¡ª don''t you know what is to come at you!! Silence , All of you , Get ready for the class!! Subee looked at Myan and Nasur , they looked back at him, Nasur clenched his fist in anger and pointed toward Subee , Myan on other hand yet stood still , no expression, no reaction but just still. Aster who had long awaited her answer with coldness in a sarcastic manner looked sharply at them , they , who fought has to go back to their seats or the outcome could be something very scary is what her questioned meant.


    Aster a cold hearted blood thirsty woman , primarily a woman who is traumatized from her childhood thus approaches things through coldness, Subee , an elite among the seven of Abyssal , oh wait , eight of Abyssal is a moron , who seeks fun in life¡ª unlike others he is close to THE AFTER.


    Myan , the practical kinda guy , seeks answer to only one thing ¡ª where are the hidden truths that lies in this world which even people like Mrs.Gaea doesn''t speak of.


    Nyan , The typical guy ,who only listens to his own resolutes. The class made of 7 teens soon to be 8 teens are people with mysterious powers that seeped into them from who knows where but only one clues remained ¡ªTHE RED MOON , every time anyone went beyond life gets dragged into the illusion of their own powers. Some see the future in the illusion, some see the hidden roads to the timeline of THE RED MOON , some look at the abyss of death.


    No one knows why red moon appears . Though it hasn''t done any harm to the world so far , the mystery to their power that can bring destruction not just to the world but the universe, leaded to BSD school ¡ª Abyssal Class.


    "Today''s topic is about the red moon differences.", said Mrs Gaea while drawing on the board.The strokes , created by chalk and all the pointing created a very sharp attentive sound and the teacher began saying with a loud yet soft sound," A moon size shows it''s influence on the awakener, if it''s crescent and small , very less  phenomena, if it''s full and big red moon¡ªThe scale could lead to having power to destroy the world or own self, and you know there is one among you who has such powers."


    Aster pointed her eye slowly to the guy who had just joined as soon as the teacher finished speaking. Everyone else was puzzled, looking at one another.


    "This time we have calculated a lesser level awakening phenomena where Crescent Red Moon will appear soon , Subee , you take the team of three to find out the traces of the Crescent Red Moon , you have the ability to get deep into the life after all. Take the newbie, for learning experience."with a sharp tone Mrs. Gaea pointed toward Subee with chalk on her hand .


    Subee , " Yes , Ma''am"


    Now that we have directed towards mission, Aster¨C you go get the locket of charm and bring to ****** told Mrs Gaea with a cold tone.


    Things started to look cloudy , everyone looked back , one even rushed toward .....


    Lycoris jolted awake, a sharp gasp tearing from his throat. His chest heaved, lungs desperate for air. Cold sweat clung to his skin, soaking through his clothes as his trembling fingers gripped the sheets. His heart slammed against his ribs¡ªtoo fast, too loud.


    It was just a dream¡­ just a dream¡­ But why was I in there , what did I just see .


    Lycoris tore the blanket off, his hands shaking as he scrambled to his feet. His breaths came in ragged gasps, his mind screaming at him to move. He nearly tripped over himself as he dashed out, his bare feet pounding against the cold floor.


    The hallways blurred past him¡ªshadows stretching, walls closing in. His heart hammered against his ribs, his pulse deafening in his ears. He didn¡¯t stop. He couldn¡¯t stop.


    His home. He had to get there. Now.


    Bursting through the door, he lunged toward the locker, fumbling with the lock. His fingers were slick with sweat, slipping as he twisted the dial. Come on. Come on! The air felt thick, suffocating. His chest tightened.


    Why won¡¯t it open?
