《Love Or Hate?》 Chapter 1 - Hows life?? ''The floral path was so beautiful.. I was jumping in joy, glaring at the the beauty of nature. Roaming here and there, plucking flowers, catching bu??erflies. I reached the highest peak while catching bu??erflies. went to the end of place.My heels slipped.. shit!!! I fell. '' I was awaken by a strong shiver in my body. I wondered how a beautiful dream always ends up falling me down from heights and waking me up. I checked clock on the side table, it was half past six in the morning . I still had much time to get ready for work. I was not feeling sleepy so I get up, brushed my teeth, reached the kitchen and made a cup of tea. Having a glance in mirror at myself make me stop for a while. "You still looks great Jessie"- i whispered to myself. Hi, I am Jessica Williams , 23yrs ,5''10", an American-Indian Gynecologist at St.Stephan Medical College and Hospital. My fair skin, grey eyes, dark brown hair and curved body can easily catch everyone''s mind. I was born and brought up in America by Indian mom Radhika Patel and American dad Max Williams. My mom worships dad, as in Indian culture husband is regarded as God. They raised me very well and makes me capable of choosing my path. Everything was moving smoothly until... My dad died in car accident. Mom never overcome this loss and got mentally broken . She needs to be in rehabilitation. Mom and dad had saved enough for future that her treatment and my studies don''t face any financial problem.She is my only family now, I visit her every wednesday, although she don''t remember me as her daughter but we are good friends, that''s enough for making my day. I am a bright student from the beginning with high IQ and EQ. I was never a bookworm, In school I love to participate in every possible activity, sports, cultural, scouting and so on I am an extrovert I have so many friends but there are only Shellby and Mia whom I can consider as my best friends. Our trio was famous at school. No one dares to disturb us. Mia and I are in same field, Shellby Swan took charge of her family business. But still we share the same bond. I was busy in introducing myself when my phone start ringing. BEEP* BEEP* "I''m on church road , pick me up on the way to hospital"-Mia ordered on the other side of phone. Hmm, I will and hung up the phone. Chapter 2 - As usual. After the call, I took a shower, wore black denim and same color top. (I love black color a lot).Made a messy bun of my hair,applied babylip ....i like it natural and simple. Had a light breakfast of toast and juice.. picking up my required stuff and got off to drive my black lancer. In a while I was in front of St. Mary church. I slow down the car and waited for Mia to jump in. "Hey darlo, shellby called me.. she is in the city and like to have shots with us.. you in?? "She updates the info to me and waits for my answer. I turn my head toward her -"It''s wednesday... I''m visiting mom today. Let''s catch her at 8'' in the Smash Bar. " she nodded and I started driving to SMCH. we went to the reception area after parking the car. "Good morning Dr.Williams and head nurse Ms.Paul... Director George Banner wants to meet you both in 10 mins sharp"-receptionist Jia pass on the order to both of us. we stare at each other and try to remember what we have done this time. Mia is the head nurse of OB/Gyn department and I m the doctor in same.. we are the youngest ones at these post in the whole hospital. On our way to Mr. Banner''s office, she thought for a while and then finally utter- " As far as I remember I had neither killed anybody.. nor stole something.. moreover I never f**ked anyone in front of the camera and never got caught.. I''m sure this time you have done something ". "You are not gonna change bi**h.. I have not done anything. stop ?ssuming this bullshit .Let''s see!! "-growled I. From the school days our trio was famous... mischievous.. and lively among all. We have enjoyed every moment without wasting them. But whenever we were called by any elder whether it was teacher or principal.. It gets to our nerves. We always started remembering or counting the things we had done for which we can be scolded or be punished. Same was happening here. Let''s see what it is.. I calmed down myself and knocked the door of Director''s office. Mr. George Banner was a man in his early fifties. His grey hairs, white skin, well built body and his friendly ?um strict nature is enough for impressing the ladies. He treats both of us like his friends ?um daughters ?um employees. He knows well where to beat which bush. He raised his head and smiled - "come in Ms. Williams and Ms. Paul "and signled us to be sitted. Sincerely we both sit at our respective chairs infront of director and waited for him to continue. He continued - "Ladies, you both may be surprised on being called at such short notice. But, I know only you two have guts and spirit to do each and every ?ssigned task with flying colors. Next week, there is a medical fair in New York City organised by WHO and some respected personalities of our country... It is held every five years to celebrate the success in medical field. Luckily this year our college have to represent Gynaecology department. And as per my consciousness, you both are the best candidate for this. Ms. Paul will ?ssist you Dr. Williams .Gather all the data and information about the cases of this department.. highlight the complex cases we had and made a report I will send you all other details now no need to worry about your duties here pack your bags and gather the required data and get ready to fly to NYC this sunday.. till then you are free to get prepared....any doubt?? " We were listening to director Banner, when he finished we share a tough glance and jointly nodded '' "no sir ". "Perfect, that''s like my girls..!! "he said and nodded us to leave. We got out of the office and I asked Mia to gather the required data for sorting and faced toward my office. I gathered the data from my office and informed Mia to meet me at Smash at 8''. I clear my desk as I had no work. I decided to meet mom at first, I want to spend some more time because next week I might not be able to meet her. I got off from SMCH and head off to rehab for meeting my only family. Chapter 3 - Mom or just Radhika? I bought some chocolates and a comic book . Everytime I visit her, I took these two things for sure. These are the things which makes her happy and her smile is enough to make my day. I entered the rehab and request the receptionist to meet to the doctor. She makes a call and signaled me to an office.I followed her directions and entered an office. As I entered he smiled and I wished him. I asked him about how my mom is doing. He responded - "she is doing great, but due to that shock she had lost her memory, we can''t say anything about that. But overall, she is responding well to the medications. " I thanked him and moved out to see my mamma. When I entered the room she was reading marvel''s comic. Her wheatish skin, dark brown hair, grey eyes are still having the same charm. One can easily guess about why Max Williams fall in love with her. Feeling one''s presence she raised her head to look for. After seeing me she smiled at me - "Jessie!! you are here. It''s good to see you again. Have you brought my chocolate? " I sighed and try to smile - "Of course Radhika, how can I ever forget to bring them." I give her chocolates and sit beside her. She don''t talk too much. Just hello, Hii, how are you??. nothing else but even the silence with her company gives warmth to my heart, peace to my mind. I stay there for more time.. no one said anything. She continues reading while I was just glaring at her. Time flew away, I checked my watch it''s 2 in noon .Then I realized that I was sitting there for hours .I get up to leave. I gave her new comic book and turn to leave. "Jessie "-shouted she. I turned back and she hugged me tightly and said -"Thanks for everything , you are my best and only friend " and tears start shedding from my eyes. Without looking at her, I ran to leave. As I get in my car, I wipe off my tears and console my heart that one day you will surely call her mom instead of Radhika. Distracting my mind from her thoughts I realized that I had enough time so I went to nearby restaurant to feed my tummy. I like Indian cuisine more than others. I went to Kake da Dhabha and odered for Rajma-rice. I still wonder that how Indians manage to make such delicious food. After satisfying my appetite I drove back to my apartment. Chapter 4 - To our friendship On spring street , I had a small beautiful home where I got shifted after dad''s accident. As I don''t want to leave Seattle. so, I changed my place. I parked my car and entered my small peaceful place. It is a two bedroom, a study, a kitchen and an open drawing area . I reached in study and checked my email. Mr. Banner had sent me all the details. I started arranging the things I had as per need . I had never been to these type of events before. I''m little bit nervous but on thinking about Mia, I got courage to face it, because there is nothing in the world which can make us feared when we are together..I was busy in stuff when my phone start ringing. *BEEP* *BEEP* *BEEP* It was shellby. I picked up- "Shellby, how''s you darling? When you returned from Los Angeles." "Jessie, my baby.. I landed this morning.. anyway I just called you to let you informed about our change in plans. We are meeting at 7 in the evening instead of 8''. I can''t wait to catch you guys. I had already informed Mia. See you there. mmuuahh ????!!".Shellby hung up. I checked the wall clock I still have an hour to get ready. I get up to have hot shower. After I was done I choose matte black dress for the evening. After little makeup ,I give myself a final glance in mirror before leaving. "OMG!! it''s breathtaking beautiful. Mia is right. I can easily make anyone to lose his heart over me."- I praised myself. And smilingly I drove to Smash bar.It is just 20 minute drive from my home. I reached there at 8 sharp. I don''t like waiting and I also don''t like anyone to wait for me. I entered the bar and locate Mia and Shellby on a table in left. They both look stunning in red and cream dresses respectively. As I get closed to them Shellby took me into her embrace - "oh Jessie!! my darling, you look very gorgeous.. I missed you a lot." We start chatting the moment I joined them. "Let''s have a drink first one mojito, one margarita and a sangaria." I ordered the waiter by pointing at Shellby, Mia and myself respectively. we talk about Shellby''s business and inform her about our fair in NYC. From dress to eye liner, from dad to maid, from waiter to the hot guys in the bar.. we discussed everything. After talking on these things we ordered for another round of drinks. "To our friendship "- I raised my glass. "To your v?r??n?t? "-they both raised their glasses at me. whenever they raise their glasses on me, they cheers for my v?r??n?t?.. somewhat they just like to tease me... in their teens both gifted their v?r??nities to their so called boyfriends of that time. We left at our own. I''m not like them, I''m very much affected by my mamma''s traditions. I never had a boyfriend. I believe in true love.. that one day I will meet the one for me whom I will give my love, my soul and my body... but only after marriage ????.I''m now 23 , I was followed by many men... but none of them found to be suitable for being my man.... Some don''t want to marry while other just want s*x. Few of them just step back while other were knocked out by me (being black belt in judo and taekwondo). I changed in my night pyjamas and after re-checking my next day to-do list ..i snugged in my bed fall asleep. Chapter 5 - Sorting to boarding Next morning was usual... I got up.. bath.. breakfast.. Then I called Mia to come over my place to arrange and sort out the cases we want to highlight. She had already gathered the required data from record room. Within few minutes she arrived at my place with bundles of hard copies and soft copies in her ??ptop. It took us few hours to finish this. "Let me cook for you, what you wanna have in lunch " - questioned I. After thinking for a while - "Anything in Indian but less spicy". It took me very little to make mix veg pranthas, which I served her with pickle and yougourt. From the school days Mia and shellby always insist my mamma for Indian cuisine. At my place they always love to have it. While having our meal we discussed many things like - "how it would be?" "We may meet new people? " "Hot guys? " "Free flights?" "Free hotel check-in! " and too many other important things like these. Next two days were busy but peaceful... we shopped..for having much formal and eye catching looks. . We had bookings for Sunday morning flights as it is five hour journey from Seattle to NYC by plane. After having best wishes from Director Banner we board for NYC..Its been long since I last been here. The best way for passing the time for both of us is to flirt with Co-passengers and slaughter them. Mia is better in this while I just love to enjoy the drama.After checking out the nearby people she finally looked at a gentleman.. He''s handsome, seems in thirties.. perfect for the scene. I wish her good luck and she left for the prey with a mischievous smile. Close to him she acted like fainting. Like ?ssumed that gentlemen held her and make her sitted on the vacant seat beside him. "Lady, are you OK? may I help you with anything ? "-he asked with concerns in his eyes. I know her very well. She had beautiful innocent look which easily fools people but only closer ones know how bit**y is she. I enjoyed the drama for next hours. When we landed she shows me a business card and said - "that hot gentlemen would love to have drinks with me" and smiled naughtily. We showed our registrations and faced toward our rooms in the hotel. I had my meal in my room and was wondering what will be day next morning. Whether it would just like conference or like award shows, a celebration or like speeches on respective departments. Pausing my thoughts I get on my bed for sleeping. "We will see what it is by tomorrow.good night Jessie "- I whispered to myself. Chapter 6 - Medical fair... seriously??? I wake up and had meal in my room. I called Mia to meet me in the lobby after half an hour. I choosed my black formal skirt-suit with white shirt .I decided to let my hair free with easy curls and have a light makeup touch. I was in dilemma whether to choose light gloss or dead red lipstick . Finally I applied light gloss and move out towards lobby to meet Mia or I can say my ?ssistant. Mia was dressed in grey formal suit and was ready with her soft copies in iPad.. To be very honest.. both seems like businesswomen instead of being in medical field. After sharing notorious glances we moved toward the central hall to attend the fair. We were greeted by two young girls who asked for our ID and gives us entry passes. When we entered... I was not sure about being at right place. I asked Mia and she nodded that we are at right place. I thought it be a fair for discussing our achievements or cases but it was something else. The decorations, music , lightning and drinks resembles it like a party. "What the hell is happening here"-I questioned from Mia. She was also clueless. Then I heard a familiar voice - "Doctors also deserve to celebrate their success Ms. Williams ". I turned around to have a look at the person it was Director Banner. He continued - "Enjoy your time here ladies.. there is nothing to be bothered about.. just submit your soft copies to me.. I will hand them over.. and enjoy your stay here.. Anyway, Ms. Swan was looking for you both." I was confused - "If you can hand over the data by yourself ,then what was the need of sending us here". He laughed heartily, - "Because I want my girls to enjoy some time at NYC". and he left... leaving us dumbfound. It took us a moment to realize the situation. We were very joyous and start looking for Shellby. After gazing for a while we spot her with a man near the bar counter and headed toward her. I think he may be her would-be-fiance. She had mention us so many times about the decision of her parents. He looks handsome and classy. We headed toward her. "Darlings you two are here.. I was looking for both of you"-Shellby took us in her embrace.and "meet Jasper Rivers...my fiance would be ". "Ms. Jessica Williams and Ms. Mia Paul"-he shakes his hand -"I heard a lot about you both from her". "Anyway what you guys are opt here for...isn''t it supposed to be a medical fair"-Mia Inquired. Jasper answered -"River and Swan families are charity members for free health facilities for the needy. so we are here to represent our families. Sounds great to both Mia and me. She offered us to join them tonight at drinks for spending some quality time. Acting hesitantly we agreed. "We will play dare shots"-Mia suggested excitingly and we all agreed. After having drinks we roam here and there for a while and returned back to the hotel rooms. I wondered how much we worked but all such efforts were not required.. this was not what I expected. But I was happy for having leisure time to spend with my besties. On the thought of playing dare shots I m kind of pissed off. Not because I m afraid of completing the dares but I''m afraid of the level of the vulgarity they took over the game to. I have one more bad thing I take the challenges very seriously. I do remember during our school days they made me spank our principal resulting in my two day suspension. And there are so many other crazy things they made me do. I wish today''s game may go civilized. I decided to have some rest before leaving. After few hours I got shower...I decided to choose another color than black for the evening so I picked up garnet dress.. let my hair fall on left side of my neck.. and after little makeup I was ready to leave. Chapter 7 - Dare shots..!! Shellby and Jasper was waiting for us in the car and I was waiting for Mia. She takes more time to get ready for drinks than any other thing. Then she came in her s?xy silver dress which b?r?ly cover her a*s and her well exposed cleavage . Jokingly I said, -"we are going for drinks or for a seducing competition. If it is second one then you are surely gonna win this. "She blushed on my silly joke and we jumped in the car with shellby and Jasper. After fifteen minutes we reached King Cole Bar. Seems very exclusive and expensive. We got sitted in the corner and ordered for tequila shots and Mia start explaining the rules of dare shots-"Be true.. Be confident in completing the dare... No excuses.. blah.. blah.. blah." We agreed. And start our game clockwise from shellby."What is the wildest thing you have with Jasper"-asked Mia. Shellby gulped her shot and answered -"I had s*x in front of his ex."she winked naughtily. game continue with few questions like, "How many dates you have been to? " "Favorite intimate position " "First crush " and to me "when will you lose your v?r??n?t?? " "Why you always bring this up? But let me tell you when that will happen I will let you know."-I confirmed them. Next round we start daring. Again first one was Shellby who was ?ssigned to flirt with elderly man and have to end up by calling him grandpa. Jasper was made to bent on his knees and to propose Shellby because we had missed it. Mia was punished to dance crazily over the stage. we were enjoying at the peak. Mia thought for a while before telling me my dare. From her expressions I clearly got idea that she had something mischievous in her mind.She pointed towards a man who seems to be in deep conversation with a person,- "Look at that hot man.. go to him and pretend to be his wife and tell him that your baby was missing him.. kiss him and then you are over." I checked out.. He is really handsome.. seems in his late twenties..and he is really hot!!!. I went close to them but I was stopped by two rock (Dwayne Johnson) type men.. they seems to be his bodyguards. I came back without completing the task. "You can''t step back like this.. Don''t you have the guts to do this simple task"-Mia taunted me and continued-"Do it any how but you have to complete it." "OK, I will do that but you have to promise me that if required you will get me bailed out and get ready to run if needed".They nodded. I gulped my shot and stand up. I start warming out like stretching arms and moving shoulders. They give me a confused look."just wait and watch"-I left them and faced toward the handsome. "You can''t go there lady."-one of those rocks held my arm and confronted me. I was not in the mood to hear him. "You better leave me , I don''t want to create any scene. They ignored me. I pointed toward the hot guy and exclaimed loudly, -"Honey, why are you doing this..come home back.. our baby misses you a lot."That hottie gives me a confused look.. I turn my face toward my trio and signled them to be prepared for hustling. It''s time for some action. As they(rocks) were trying to drag me away I freed myself from there grip and lightningly I push them away and after few punches I pressed their unconsciousness point on their necks (Thanks to my masters of judo and taekwondo )and they just fall on the floor... people seems taking interest in the scene. Without wasting my time I got near the hottie.. before he realized anything I kissed him on his lips and I can feel the warmth of his body. It was not the time for that after completing the dare I ran out leaving him dumbfound. As I was leaving I give him a last look and he was on his phone but staring at me. We quickly drove back the car and continue driving till we reached near the hotel. This night was really fun. I thought about that poor man and those bulldozers who were pissed off by me. Jasper seems lost in his thoughts when Shellby asked - "what happened?" He turned his face toward Shellby and then toward us, "You know who was that guy?" We nodded him as No. He turned toward Shellby and said, "he was Christian Walton." I don''t know who that is but on hearing this Shellby''s smile disappeared and she turned toward me,-"Girls you better leave by tomorrow morning..No questions.. I will tell you everything once you went back." I went back to my room.. got freshen up.. packed my stuff and lay down on my bed and immediately fall asleep. #SOMEWHERE IN A LUXARY CAR# *Christian''s POV I called my ?ssistant Daniel , "You have one day to find out .. I need every single detail about that girl." I hung up and think about the incident. That girl just pissed me and my guards off. Her kiss... her confident... ohuff!! Chapter 8 - Encounter awaits By next evening we were back in Seattle. Mia also accompanied me at my place. shellby come at night with our dinner .We were having dinner in silence when Mia asked, -"why your smile was disappeared on hearing Christian''s name ". She waits for a while, -"I know last night we had fun guys... I just got worried on knowing that we played him." "What the woof about him.. we also dared on that elderly man".-I justified. She gave me a concerned smile, -"He is Christian Walton.. 25yrs.. hot and handsome owner of Walton group of companies...or I can say the richest heir of United States.. No doubt he is good at his work. But I was worried because he is an as*ho*e. He sleeps with different girls every night. He uses girls to satisfy his d?s?r?s. Chapter 9 - Encounter awaits (2) I get up in noon very next day. I don''t have work today. So I just cleaned the house. Then I decided to go to Temple[a place where Hindus worship God, holy place] before visiting mom, As I want give her prased[holy food blessed by God ].I know I was born by Hindu mom and Christin dad.. I worship in church as well as in temple. I wore an Indian Saree with matching earrings and applied light gloss. I visit Temple first and on the way as usual I bought chocolates and books. She was very happy to see me in Indian attire and also by receiving Prasad, chocolate and books. I was just leaving when I received a call from Jia, "Dr. Williams, I am sorry to bother you on your day off.. but it is an emergency.. we had a 7 month pregnant woman who faced an accident..blood loss.. Intern doctors are afraid to perform the surgery.. it would be great if you can help.." "Prepare the things.. I will be there in twenty minutes."-I rushed directly from rehab to hospital. When I entered the hospital that time I realized that I am wearing a Saree...Everyone was glaring at me. I ran towards changing room and wore my scrubs. It took me one and half hour to tackle the situation.. we induced labour because w?mb is not in the condition to help the baby due to accident. Infant was sent to children''s ward.. We saved both. After completion I changed into my Saree. I was in lobby when I heard an unfamiliar voice. "Dr. Jessica Williams" I turned back.. before I recognize the person.. his lips went on mine..Getting the situation , I pushed him away.Staff and patients shred awkward glances upon us. SHIT..!! SHIT.. !! it''s him.. Christian Walton just kissed me in my hospital infront of so many people.. "What are you doing?? "- I questioned him and step aback. Realising the situation I pass him a fake smile. He opened the door of his white Audi A8.I gave him an unpleasant look, -"I can drive for myself " and I headed toward my car. As I start the car he jumped in the passenger seat,-"I better give you a company ".Unwantedly I nodded. "Dinner is on me.. get to El gaucho. "-he said. I start driving. Chapter 10 - Encounter awaits (3) We ordered for our meal. He stares at me which makes me uncomfortable. Breaking the ice between us he said, -"You look beautiful in this dress.. What you call it?. " "Thank you , we call it Saree, it''s an Indian dress."- I replied. He continued, "So, you missed me.. right.... and what about the baby.." I gathered my courage, -"I''m sorry Mr. Walton for that night.. It was just a dare.. I was not intended to make that happen and to hurt your guards.. I apologized... But you did the same thing.. now its fair enough to be called Tit for Tat." Before he could say anything, I got up to leave, -"Thanks for the food.. I will not bother you again Mr. Walton.. Good bye."He was about to plant a kiss on my cheek when I step backwards. Giving him tough looks I left. *Christian''s POV* She''s looking so pretty...how a girl can look that hot even without exposing herself , Her dark brown hairs.. I want to run my fingers in them, those deep gray eyes... invites me to drown in.. glossy lips.. her scent.. I thought she has interest in me but she called it just a dare .How can she do that..How any girl can resist my kiss?. Or this is just to draw me more crazy for her. She may think she is smart by doing that but she will pay for it in my room. Chapter 11 - Scolded Quickly I got freshen up after returning from that awkward moment. I brushed my hair and applied some night cream. Then I decided to call Mia and shellby. I thought of conference video call.. because this way or that way I need to tell both of them about what had happened today. After normal updation.. I come to the point.. -"Christian Walton visited SMCH." I can clearly watch their faces.. shocked. I continued, -"He kissed me in the hospital lobby and repeated the same lines.. I uttered that night, and I had dinner with him in El gaucho."Their shock turned into anger and without any pause they both started shouting at me,- "Have you lost your mind? " "Why you don''t kicked him when he tried to kiss you? " "Why you agreed to have dinner with him?" "How many people were there? " Blah*blah*blah*blah* I narrate the whole story to them from beginning till the ending. Mia seems enjoying it but I can sense that Shellby was tensed upon hearing this.Now their silence is eating me. Shellby break the ice, -"Look Jessie, whatever happens till now just forget about that.. but from now on stay away from that bastard.. He is not a good guy. You get me?". "Yes I did. " For distracting their mind I start talking about Jasper and some random stuffs. We had a long conversation then I realized something, -"Mia who is sleeping in your bed behind you?". It also catches Shellby''s attention, -"Yeah, who''s that? " "My new boyfriend "-she chuckled. We both burst in laughter. We are aware about what type of girl she is.
