 Prologue

    Gods.


    beings known to exist in the large sea of space. Deities that could destroy and create planets with a swing of an arm. All powerful and all knowing beings that control you, me and everything and everyone around us.


    Gods are being and deities that are worshipped and prayed to, some are depicted as merciful and forgiving beings, yet others are known to be ruthless and merciless.


    These beings for me, for us are known as Celestials. In all of these there is one being that stood on top, the god of all gods, the creator and destroyer of all.


    ''The Pinnacle Being''.


    The being which created everything and everyone known today. Even the all powerful Celestials were created by him, The Pinnacle Being, the one true god.


    They may not be much important to you but to me, these Celestials were the ones that destroyed, tore up and ruined my life, they took everything and everyone away from me.


    My quest wasn''t to just get revenge on these gods and this also wasn''t a vengeful quest, I just wanted one thing and one simple thing. I wanted to save everyone and have everyone alive and live a happily ever after.

    These gods granted powers to these vessels or mortals, people like me. And later use them and make them do things that...... well you can probably guess.


    These Celestials no matter how good they might be with granting mortals, powers out of their comprehension, that is just the outside, one of the two sides of a coin.


    No matter how powerful these Celestials might be, there is one thing that both us, mortals and Celestials have in common.


    ''Souls''


    No matter who you are, whether it be a celestial, a mortal or the pinnacle being you always without a doubt have to have a soul.


    These souls hold important value to everyone. They give powers, but unlike the Celestials'' powers, it''s not borrowed, it comes from within you, from within your soul.


    These powers vary from your personality, one could say these powers are the physical manifestation of your soul or personality. And these powers are called spiritualla.


    I may have been blessed with one that may seemed weak to others, but for me, it was my key to becoming stronger and stronger and one day hopefully, even standing face to face against a celestial or maybe even standing against or with The Pinnacle Being.


    And here I am, these gods or Celestials giving me a second chance at life, making me suffer even more then how much I had already did.


    But at that time I took it as a blessing, a second chance at life, a second chance to right my wrongs, to try to save everyone possible, I was naive.


    I was naive due to one fact that stuck in my mind, I could try to save my loved ones, my family and maybe even have a chance to live a normal and happy life.


    No matter how mature I thought I was back then, I was just foolish and immature

 Chapter 1- Welcome Home

    I laid there in the harsh and cold environments of the battle field, worn out, tired and heavily injured. It was safe to say these were my final moments that I would be alive.


    I closed my eyes, thinking I would lose consciousness and pass yet, I never lost consciousness, I couldn''t open my eyes, feel or even move.


    My cold and lifeless self or so I thought, started to become warmer and warmer, when a green light had been emitted, I looked around to only see a vast, dark, endless sea of void surrounding me.


    I couldn''t move anything, I couldn''t feel anything, the temperature spike that I had felt earlier had also dissipated. The only sense I had was sight and I would think that I also wasn''t able to see if it weren''t for the green light that had been emitted from me.


    It was horrifying and terrifying, thinking about all the possibilities that could happen to me. Floating around in this vast sea of endless void and darkness for eternity was horrifying to even think about.


    I didn''t even know how much time had passed, when a wave of relief had washed over me when I saw a light in the distance getting bigger and brighter every second.


    As the light continued to swallow me, I had a distant memory that didn''t seem to exist, I stood above all, high and mighty. I had all the potential of this world, I was a being with endless potential and a never ending growth.


    When the light had swallowed me, I had started to lose consciousness, I had thought that this was it and I was about to die, yet, I didn''t panic infact I was relieved that all the suffering I had gone through were finally over.


    To my suprise, I had woken up, free from the strain and pain from the war and battlefield. I had felt rejuvenated, like I was no longer who I was.


    I looked down at my hands, only to see them free from scars left from my many battles and endless years of training, I now had smooth hands and fingers, which was almost disappointing.


    I continued to observe the unusual yet, familiar and nostalgic surroundings. I was sat on a chair and the table Infront of me had a ton of books laid out, many books about this world and powers.


    To my right, there were many bookshelves surrounding me, which curved with the buildings all the way to the stairs leading down stairs. To my left were railings which also curved with the buildings leading to the stairs.


    Realisation hit me, I started piecing everything together, the stairs, the curved railing and bookshelves, these books, this table and spot that was unusually familiar, this was the old library I used to visit when I still lived in Gyrofil.


    But, what was I doing here? How was I here? Hadn''t I died? Many questions flooded my mind as my brain struggled to answer them and keep track.


    I needed answers and I needed them now, I quickly started running down the stairs and outside, ignoring the pink haired librarian stationed opposite to the entrance of the library.


    I found myself at the corner of a street, even though i didn''t know what exactly was happening, it felt oddly familiar, I ran down a few blocks, just trying to figure out everything.


    When I had come across a window, where my reflection had surprised me. I looked at the window, only to see a silver white haired, green eyed 14 year old staring back at me.


    I was still me, but I was only sent back 30 years into the past, I didn''t know how or why but I just knew one thing, I could try to save everyone I couldn''t, with my knowledge and experience, it was possible.


    All these, information flooded my mind and brain struggled to process them, so I decided to clear my mind by going to an old spot of mine.


    I flew up, using my spiritulla, telekinesis to lift me upwards and into the sky with shades of orange and pink starting to take over. Getting the fresh air from the atmosphere helped me calm down a bit.


    I flew around before I came across a hill covered with nature and small buildings, but I didn''t fly straight there, I decided to land at the bottom of the hill and take the stairs and climb up.


    I started to climb up the not so steep stairs that wrapped around the hill mostly surrounded by nature and the hill. On my left of the stairs, there were some ground and trees before it led downwards into a steep fall.


    On my right were the side of the hill, with some grass and green here and there for the rest of the climb, it felt calming and relaxing being surrounded by nature and all.


    I continued walking through this path up the hill for quite a bit of time, the calming and quiet atmosphere had made me lose track of time.


    After a while, the up hill of the path was no more and the stairs had disappeared and led to a concrete path leading to the forest at the top of this hill.


    I continued walking on this path until the forest had come to a clearing and revealed a ledge that peaked outwards with a view of the entire city of Gyrofil.


    I looked up to see the sun falling with a bright orange and had almost disappeared and fell. A light orange painted the skies and cloud along with pink highlights and shades painting some parts of the skies and the clouds.


    I sat down on the ledge to enjoy this sunset that I hadn''t seen in decades, it brought back so many memories, good ones and bad ones as well.


    I couldn''t help but smile, seeing the beautiful and warm colours almost dancing together in the sky like slow dancing and harmonizing.

    Calling this view mesmerising would be an understatement, this view would be stuck to my mind for the rest of my life. It had been the same for my last life and this life was no different.


    I continued to enjoy this sunset until the cold and dark night sky and darkness had taken over, almost like an interruption in a great moment or a state of depression during a great moment.


    I had now accepted the fact that I had been sent to the past, before my life had started going downhill and plunging into the pit of endless darkness.


    I wanted to head home now but, I knew I couldn''t handle all the emotions that would overwhelm me from seeing my family again in over 3 decades.


    My mother, my father and my twin brother Raumia, I loved them from the bottom of my heart nothing could ever make me hate them at all.


    They have been with me from the start and even in their final moments they chose to protect me and sacrifice themselves.


    I decided to take a stroll around the city and the night life of Gyrofil. To handle and process everything and hopefully not have my emotions overwhelm me when I decide to go home.


    I walked around the night of Gyrofil, with colourful lights all over the buildings and the above me, the lights hanging down from the wires above the streets.


    It was nostalgic I remember always walking down these streets after my daily trip to the city and into the library, in order to go back home or to go to the library or somewhere else.


    Once in a while I would get attacked or jumped by thugs only to be saved my Raumia and..... Hes...tia. Wait, Hestia! My little sister, who had died around my 15th birthday and the start of my life''s downhill.


    She would still be alive during now but not for long as Gyrofil was attacked by a group of bandits and thugs. I had missed her so much, she was the only one who came to my defense when I did something wrong or got into trouble.


    I felt guilty for forgetting about her but just remembering her and our time together made me smile but it just made it harder for me go to back home.


    She was like the light brought to me when I was in a state of darkness, when she was born she brought back the light in my life that had been lost due to an incident a few months back.


    I had been quickly snapped out of my thoughts when I noticed a group of hooligans who seemed drunk and dirty calling out to me in their drunken state.


    They seemed to be around their early twenties, all 4 of them, two of them seemed to have a knife or dagger strapped to their waist and one of them seemed to be holding a glass bottle of some sort.


    "Hey kid, where are you going at this time at this place?" One of the men with a dagger strapped to his waist asked drunkenly.


    I didn''t reply and just kept staring at him, anticipating this next move when he spoke up again. "Are you deaf or something? Didn''t you hear me the first time?"


    I slowly backed up and and kept my eyes on him ready to do counter whatever he was about to do.


    The guy who seemed like their boss, who was doing all the talking seemed to have lost his patience and put his hands on the handle of his dagger.


    But, before he could do anything, I controlled the movements of his hand by using my powers in order to throw the dagger to right Infront of my feet, where I was able to pick it up and get ready for a fight.


    But, then I remembered something, in my past life I was taught to not heavily injure someone if they were just normal students and were causing trouble and that meant not using a knife.


    I hadn''t used this type of non lethal martial arts in a long time, so I had no practice and forgotten most of the moves, but I had remembered the basics enough to at least knock them out.


    The first guy charged at me, behind him were the three other guys that followed his lead. They all were charging head on at me like raging bulls.


    The first guy went for a punch straight to my head, but left his other body parts unprotected, so I had ducked under and gave him a strong uppercut as he went tumbling back before falling.


    The second guy charged at me, like an actual bull going for a low tackle trying to pin me down in order to beat me up, at the last moment I pivoted my foot dodging, as he went straight past me and I grabbed his face before slamming him down to knock him out.


    Before I could react I saw a glass bottle going straight to my head, I quickly reacted and leapt backwards before the guy with the knife came at me ready to stab me.


    I pivoted my foot, dodging to my right, then grabbed his arm before pinning him to the ground and dislocating his shoulder and knocking him out by the neck.


    The last guy swung down the bottle right at my head, but I finally decided to use telekinesis and stop him right in his tracks, I went behind him , then knocked him out as well.


    My moves were pretty lethal compared to my past life where I would still actively use this non-lethal martial arts technique.


    Still i was satisfied with my fluid movements and my control over telekinesis were still as good as I remember, if not better thanks to my young body that I was in now.


    Now, I had finally decided to go home now, thinking that I would be able to handle the emotions now and not get overwhelmed after clearing my head.


    I walked through the streets for a while before a large and tall wall had come into sight, this was the wall that enclosed the city of Gyrofil and outside was the town known as the outskirts which is apart of Gyrofil but just outside the wall and i lived there.


    I approached the entrance of the wall to see a guard clad in armour only leaving his head without a helmet or any armour. And from his head flowed down long brown hair that laid on his shoulders.


    "Oh hey, going back home?" The guard called out to me as soon as he noticed me approaching the wall.


    That was when I realised this was the guard I always used to meet at the wall during my daily adventures. "Hi Huevo, yeah I''m heading home like usual."


    "Well, you''re a bit earlier then usual." He commented.


    "Have you monitoring my every move and stalking me to know the time I go home?" I teased Huevo with a smirk.


    "Yeah, sure like anyone would want to stalk you." Huevo said with a grin.


    "Well, goodnight, have a safe trip home."


    "Goodnight."


    I have left the walls to see a small bundle of houses in the distance and as I got closer, the amount of houses seemed to increase and many other buildings came into sight.


    These parts of the outskirts were the exact place that I had lived in, taverns, inns, bars and many other buildings came into my sight.


    It felt nostalgic being here again, all the familiar buildings and these familiar roads that I had always walked in to get home or just play around.


    I walked around a bit, it was bustling with the bars and taverns from around the area, kids running around and playing to even fancy restaurants.


    It was peaceful and I felt at peace for some reason, I don''t know if it was because of nostalgia or just being here again and the noises from here.


    I walked around a bit until I got to an area where it was quiet and silent now, it was peaceful which made me know that I had got to the residential area now.


    I continued walking until I came across a familiar and nostalgic looking house, it may seem like all the same but this one felt different and I knew this was my own house, there was no doubt.


    I walked in and quickly yelled "Mom, I''m home." As if it were just like any other day.


    I saw my family, my mom cooking in the kitchen, my dad and Raumia sitting on the table and Hestia just behind Raumia all turn around to look at me.


    "You''re earlier then usual." Raumia spoke first. He looked as if he were brainstorming as to why I was home early.


    My dad followed with "Yeah your mother hasn''t even finished cooking dinner yet." he said with a suprise look that I was home early like it was a once in a lifetime thing.


    "You''re home early." Hestia said as she came running into my arms and came for a hug, as she always used to do and it always brought a smile to my face and this time was no different.


    Finally my mom spoke up in a calm and relaxing demeanor and voice that welcomed me and felt like home "Oh, Welcome home

 Chapter 2- An Ancient Blade

    Even before I realised, hot warm tears started falling down from my eyes flowing down my face before falling in the air and landing on the ground. I wasn''t ready, I had thought that I was ready but I wasn''t.


    Before any one could notice, quickly wiped them away, but it wasn''t fast enough and Raumia had noticed.


    "Zeit, Are you crying? Did you have a secret girl you''re always meeting and she broke your heart?" Raumia teased me.


    "Something just got in my eye." I replied while still rubbing my eyes.


    "You sure? It seems like you''re crying over a girl."


    "Raumia, you can''t be the one to talk you literally got your heartbroken and came back home crying last month." Hestia came to my defense.


    "Hey, I told you that was because I failed the entrance exam for the Blades of Gyrofil Tournament."


    I had always gone out in the weekends to train and go to the library too, As well as on weekdays. I would go to the library or go train my telekinesis after school.


    "I told you many times Raumia, that I just go out to go to the library or training." I corrected Raumia''s earlier statement.


    "Lies." Raumia blurted out.


    "You still want me to talk about the time you got heart broken twice in just 1 month?" I said with an annoyed look.


    "Wait, No!"


    "Well, come and have dinner now Zeit all of us were waiting for you." My mom said with a smile that I could never get enough of.


    The rest of the dinner went fine and okay except the part where my dad and Raumia kept teasing me. I would''ve gotten annoyed if I hadn''t felt this feeling for a long time and the fact that Hestia kept coming to my rescue and kept saying comebacks against them.


    After dinner I laid in my bed thinking about what to do next. This town was going to get attacked by the man known as the ''Pirater'' he was called that due to the reason that he would steal people''s spiritulla which would give the victim a mental side effect or disorder.


    I remember my mom telling me stories about ''Edward the Pirater'' it sent chills down my spine, thinking about his victims. And my sister was one of those victims and I was determined to prevent that. The big scar on his right eye just made him more scary.


    He came and attacked around in August which is a few months from now and also on my birthday. Safe to say that was one of if not the worst birthdays of my life.


    Those memories of the Pirater killing my precious little sister Hestia still haunted me to this day. I needed to prevent it from happening again no I must prevent it from happening again.


    I needed a weapon first preferably a sword first, there was no way i could defeat the Pirater without a weapon. He was a really strong awakener probably around high 5 star level at the time.


    He had an ability known as the dreams of thieves which allowed him to steal someone''s spiritulla or sometimes even relics. His relic on the other hand though, was probably one of the most powerful.


    His blesser was Hercules, the bearer of the 12 labours. And it granted the ability known as a the 12 labours.


    The ability, The 12 Labours allowed it''s user to activate one of the labours at a price. It is one of the most powerful buff relics. It granted superhuman abilities and also weapons.


    In our case Edward, his most used labour was the first labour the Pride of the Nemean Lion, which allowed him to gain significant strength and also the hide of the Nemean Lion. It was his go to labour due to the price just him being really prideful and bearing the weight of the heavy hide which limited his speed and agility.


    Edward''s weapon of choice was the blade of extraction which allowed him to extract energy from any spiritualla and use it at will. I used this weapon in the future after his death and it was a very powerful weapon.


    This blade of extraction was a katana like weapon with some bandages wrapped around the hilt and the blade wore cracks where red energy or aura was emitted. The colour of the aura would change depending on the element.


    Back to the topic, I needed a weapon and a good and strong one at that. There was no way I could defeat Edward with a normal sword. But there is still some time for that. There was still 3 whole months left.


    Just then it came back to me, the treasures of cities, the most treasured weapon in the the cities. Each city always had one and in Gyrofil''s case it was no different. Gyrofil held the weapon known as the Blade Of Arthur.

    After being lost in thoughts for a while, I finally fell asleep. It was a quiet, dark and peaceful night. This kind of night was something I hadn''t experienced in a long long time.


    When I woke up, it was still sunrise, so I took the time to enjoy this sunrise for a bit. The sun shining through the tip of the mountains with a beautiful yellow and orange. These colours lit up the empty and dark night sky, like cheering someone up after they got a bad day.


    After enjoying this sunrise, I went back downstairs to eat breakfast before heading again. I had gotten over meeting my family again thanks to all the thoughts and crying last night. I had to make sure they knew nothing about this.


    It seemed like my mom was the only one awake


    "Good morning, mom."


    "Oh Zeit, morning and look at you all of a sudden waking up so early."


    Oh don''t tell me even mom''s going to start teasing me now.


    "Hmm, did your little girlfriend want you to wake up earlyyy?" My mom said with a grin.


    Yep my mom is going to start teasing me too.


    "No way, I just wanted to enjoy the sunrise."


    I mean I woke up early for no reason and enjoyed this sunrise so I wasn''t lying. My mom had the spiritualla, hater of liers which is a lie detection skill.


    "Seems like you''re telling the truth."


    "Hell yeah I am there is no way I would be interested in anyone right now.


    After that, I helped her get the breakfast for the family ready. After it was ready, I ate first to leave early since I did not want Raumia or my dad also teasing me about waking up early.


    "Oh are you about to leave Zeit?"


    "Yeah, I do not want Raumia also teasing me about this."


    "Oh okay, be safe son."


    This blade of Arthur is not exactly Excalibur, it is sort of like a replica. The real Excalibur has a large curved guard where as the blade of Arthur has a small curved guard.


    For the actual blade the Excalibur''s blade caves in from the ends of the guard almost like a triangle well it would be if the bottom part was straight. But the Blade of Arthur''s blade was like any other swords blade except it had ancient writing on it.


    I headed to a black smith to see if they had any good swords. I would come and take this if I couldn''t free the Blade of Arthur from it''s bindings. The Blade of Arthur was binded by chains and only those who were worthy could free it.


    As of now it is stored in the underground chambers of the academy of Gyrofil. Anyone could walk and try and if they were worthy they could keep it.


    The black smith had some blades that come from outside of Gyrofil so I was mostly looking in that section. I came across a weird looking dagger.


    I took it out of its sheath and the blade went inwards from the guard in the middle there was a weird orb not really an orb more like a circular gem, a circular blue gem and two sharp objects came out from the sides of the gem.


    "Oh that blade, that''s a pretty bad dagger, it can''t really do anything." The person working there called out.


    I sensed it was a unique weapon and recognized it from somewhere. It was the dagger of growth. This dagger grows with it''s owner and more aura poured into the gem the bigger the dagger grows.


    "Most people can''t even take it out of its sheath and pretty dull and useless. So I can give it to you for a cheap price."


    "I see." I said that on the outside but internally I was practically jumping with joy to have gotten a good blade for a cheap price. But I didn''t want to buy now I needed to test my luck in the Blade of Arthur.


    But first i went to the library to get some books about Edward the Pirater and the Blade of Arthur. I needed to research about them first.


    When I walked into the library, Clair greeted me.


    "Oh hey Zeit, here to study and read some books again?"


    When Clair asked me that I decided not to read them now since my first priority right now was to test my luck on the Blade of Arthur.


    "Oh, no Clair, I came here to borrow some books." I replied


    "Oh okay, tell me if you need something or if you need to find a book." She said that with a warm smile.


    A smile that was strikingly beautiful, I didn''t even get time to admire that beautiful smile of her yesterday since I was in such a rush. She was pretty popular with the boys and this was one of the reasons.


    I went to find the books of Edward and Blade of Arthur. After some searching around, I found the book was Arthur Pendragon, where stories about him and his sword Excalibur were mentioned. And in the later parts the replica of Excalibur'' The Blade Of Arthur was also mentioned.


    But no matter how much I searched I couldn''t find books about Edward The Pirater. So I decided to ask Clair.


    "Umm Clair, could you help me find a book of Edward the Pirater?"


    "Oh Zeit, unfortunately we do not have books of Edward the Pirater yet, we were planning to get some so we might have them in around a few weeks or so." Clair replied


    "Oh thanks Clair."


    Great I just wasted my time trying to find this book when it wasn''t even here. So I just borrowed the book of Arthur Pendragon.


    After that I decided to go to the academy of Gyrofil and to my suprise no one was there. Usually a lot of people would be here testing their luck on the Blade of Arthur. Even though the dagger of growth was a great blade, I doubt that I would be able to defeat Edward with it.


    There was a guard dressed in a long white coat with what seems to be a long sword strapped around his waist. So I went up to him.


    "Hmm? Who are you and state your business here." The guard asked coldly


    "I am Zeit Fuermado, and I attend this academy." Oh shit I forgot today was a weekend.


    "It is a weekend, the school is not open so what are you doing here."


    "I came here to test my luck on the Blade of Arthur." I replied


    The guard laughed before regaining his composure to talk to me again.


    "Hahaha, you? A kid? Well good luck with that." The guard replied mockingly before opening the gates to the basement.


    I went down a flight of stairs it was dimly lit with some lights in the walls. After what seemed like a few minutes the flight of stairs ended and I came Infront of a giant door.


    When I open the door I saw a large circular room. There was what seemed to be a pathway leading to the middle where the Blade of Arthur laid levitating in the air due to a lot of chains restricting it.


    besides the pathway and the circular platform where the Blade of Arthur was, the other parts had dropped down into a giant hole. The room was dimly lit with blue lighting and red lighting coming from the circular platform.


    I walked across the pathway to the BoA and got a tight grip on its handle. I felt a ton of energy and aura on the blade but I continued to try to unseal it. It started budging but just then I got a shock in my right hand so I jumped backwards.


    On the palm of my right hand I saw a mark of what seemed like a sword stabbed into a dragons head then some golden text appeared on my palm reading "The Blade Of Arthur Shall Remember You".

 Chapter 3-Panic

    I was confused by the phrase that appeared on my hand. "The Blade of Arthur Shall Remember you"? I didn''t know what that meant at the time. But, I just took it as a refusal.


    So, I went back to the blacksmith to buy the dagger of growth. I was still pretty happy about getting it for only around 5 silver stars. Normally a blade like the dagger of growth would cost around 5 golden stars


    When I was walking out empty handed I came across the guard again.


    "Ha, what did I tell ya, I told you that you wouldn''t get it." The guard said with a annoying smirk on his face.


    "yeah yeah". I rolled my eyes and just continued ignore his other insults


    On my way to the black smith, I crashed into this mysterious girl. She wore a cloak covering her entire body and a hood to cover her head but I saw her face a little, she wore glasses and had black eyes and some black hair flowing out of the hood.


    "Oh, sorr-" before I could apologise she had already ran off. That was pretty weird. But I had thought nothing about it at the time, so I had just continued walking towards the blacksmith.


    "Hey old man" I called out to the black smith while I was walking in.


    "Oh hey kid, came here to get the dagger?"


    "Yeah, 5 silver stars right?" I said while handing him the money.


    "Alright, here you go." The blacksmith replied while handing me the dagger and taking the money.


    "Okay, thanks."


    "Hey kid, you sure you want that dagger?" The black smith asked. "That dagger is a pretty bad one I don''t think it''s even worth that much."


    Well if only he knew this was worth way more then that. I kind of felt bad too.


    "Yeah, I''m sure. I will be on my way now"


    I needed to test out the dagger first. I needed to see it''s capabilities, so I went to the training grounds next.


    While heading there, I crashed into another guy fully cloaked and hooded too. I could see some of his black hair and brown eyes he also had a scar on his right eye and it seemed pretty big.


    "Hey kid watch where you''re going." The mysterious man said whilst walking away.


    "Oh, sorry."


    This time I thought it was pretty suspicious, two cloaked guys and stuff, but something like this didn''t happen around this time my past life, so I just brushed it off and headed to the plains to test my dagger.


    I walked out of the gates and saw these plains, I looked around before seeing the place with rocks and trees and and some things tied up to the trees hanging down. That was my training grounds that I had made back in my past life.


    I walked over there and it was pretty far so it took a few moments. But when I arrived I set my book of Arthur Pendragon down and some other things and took out the dagger of growth.


    I started by pouring aura on with (aura is basically the energy that is emitted out of one''s spirit or soul which also determines their power level based on their colour and quantity) into the gem of the dagger.


    I started feeling every part of the dagger as if it was a part of me. I could choose the area to pour aura into and grow it''s size at will.


    I started by pouring aura to every part of the dagger in order to grow it into the size of an actual sword. Next I realised the weight of the sword stayed the same. It was like I was still holding the dagger.


    I swinged it around a bit, it was light weight, so I could swing it pretty fast. Next, I tried slashing it at some of the hanging wood pieces. I got momentum and took a hack at it. To my suprise the wood pieces easily sliced in half like butter.


    I don''t know what the black smith was talking about but, this blade was pretty good. It probably needed aura to be poured in to do this and the others didn''t so they probably figured that this not worth their time.


    I needed to keep experimenting with this so next I tried to pour aura into the blade only and it''s overall size increased and the weight again stayed the same and was very light.


    After that I focused on the tip of the blade and after a few tries, the blade extended and only the length not the width so it would be useful for long range and the weight again stayed the same.


    I would need to test out something else now, I tried to increase the width and size of the blade as well as it''s weight almost turning it into a metal bat.


    I thought of the dagger as play dough, my aura affecting its shape and every particle of aura added would increase its weight like gas being compressed and to fit more and increase the overall weight.

    There was one simple reason I did this, the sharpness of the blade alone wouldn''t cut it, no pun intended. Edward''s sixth labour would practically be immune to swords so I needed an alternative to destroy these iron and tough feathers.

    I would come back here and try to increase the weight and experiment later first I needed to go get a book about Hercules. So I grabbed my stuff shrinked the dagger back to its original size and headed for the library.


    When I went into the city, I don''t know why but, it felt kind of off like something was wrong. I brushed that feeling aside to get to the library as fast as possible.


    I approached the library and came Infront of it. I walked in to see someone else, not the usual librarian Clair, infact it was a man who had long black hair that covered his right eye. He was tall and I pretty good looking.


    "Um, are you the new librarian? Where''s Clair?" I asked him.


    "Yes I am the new librarian, as for Clair she took a leave to attend some urgent matters."


    Yep, just as I thought, she was probably taking care of something else, so he filled in for her. I didn''t think much of it and headed to the second floor to find the book of Hercules and the 12 labours.


    I went to the greek mythology section to find the book. I came across many, Zeus, Hades, Poseidon and even Chronos the god that blessed me. I had a gut feeling telling me to take that book of Chronos so I took it and continues to search for the book of Hercules.


    I found it, Hercules and the 12 labours. I took the book and went to a nearby table to read it. The book mentioned the 12 labours that was sent to Hercules or Heracles at the time to perform and complete by the king of Mycenae, Eurystheus


    There were only 10 labours at first but after Heracles completed them, Eurystheus decided to give Heracles two more since he refused to count the 2nd labour and the 5th labour due to him getting help from other people and nature.


    I decided to read the rest of the book and the 12 labours when I got home so I went back to the first floor, to see Clair back, that''s when I Clair was back and something seemed to be wrong.


    "Clair? Have you been here this entire day?"


    "Yeah, of course, why?"


    Shit, something was really wrong.


    "Nothing, also just these two books."


    "Alright."


    I acted like nothing was wrong but inside I was panicking and screaming with so many questions.


    The moment I got those books I ran out of there and decided to go back to the hilltop spot to clear my mind.


    Something was really wrong and i thought about it, about the two cloaked people the suspicious male librarian and the scars of one of the cloaked people''s right eye. The male librarian''s right eye was covered with his long black hair.


    Then it hit me, Edward??? No there''s no way but, they all looked similar all three of them with similar features like the scar, eye colour, the hair, they were all similar. But there''s no way right. "Was Edward really at Gyrofil this early??" I wondered to myself.


    On the way to the hilltop I kept seeing cloaked and suspicious people in the city. Even if they were Edward''s men they wouldn''t be stupid enough to attack head on in the city with all the guards and soldiers inside.


    I figured they might attack the outskirts first to lure them there and attack the city, yes that''s right, that''s what he has always done.


    Wait right, The outskirts. After remembering that I lived in the outskirts I rushed out of there immediately even before I arrived to the hilltop. I went there as fast as I could.


    When I turned into an alley and made sure no one was there, I used my telekinesis to lift myself up and flung myself to where the outskirts were. Using the telekinesis I was also able to fly so this way was faster and I got back there in no time due to some measures and adjustments I made to my flight.


    When I was levitating above the outskirts and observing from above I noticed nothing out of the ordinary. But still, I had to keep my eye out just in case they decided to attack.


    All the walking had taken up a lot of my day and it was almost sunset, so I decided to just go home. I slowly flew down and started walking back.


    Even inside the outskirts I noticed some shady and suspicious people, these weren''t wearing cloaks or anything like that but I just sensed something wrong with them. So I decided to keep an eye on them.


    I couldn''t just go and declare they were enemies and apart of Edward''s crew, people would just think I''m crazy or something and ignore it. I couldn''t just attack them out of nowhere that would make me look like the bad guy.


    If Edward''s going to attack sooner then expected even I can''t do anything alone. He was too strong for me. And I can''t really do much with my telekinesis either, I haven''t trained it much in this life and the relic, I can''t even use it yet.


    (More on relics, relics are the gifts of god''s and need to be awakened to fully utilise them but even if not awakened it can be used but not a lot of it''s power and the relic is just a mark or a crest on one''s hand in Zeit''s case it''s like the gears in a clock.)


    There were some guards and soldiers stationed in the outskirts but they were probably no match for Edward. Damn it, I couldn''t think of any ideas.


    Wait, the inside guards and soldiers will be notified the moment the attack occurs, and some stronger soldiers like generals or lieutenants might be a match for him. So I just need to stall time.


    I could probably do that sending every elemental attack back to him, for his close range physical attacks I can only block it, dodge or just keep running to stall time.


    I could manipulate the ground and the matter around him to better my odds, like trapping him and pushing him away.


    Huh, I was already Infront of my doorstep. I didn''t even realise that I was just walking lost in deep thought. And darkness had already taken over the sky.


    I walked in and yelled "mom, I''m home."


    "Welcome home Zeit, I haven''t prepared dinner yet so you can just wait in your room."


    "Okay, thanks mom, call me when dinner is ready." After I replied my mom just nodded.


    Far away in the outskirts, inside a bar. The suspicious guys from earlier were causing trouble. And when they had enough. Fire, lightning, intense wind and cold icy winds started erupting from their bodies.


    The citizens in the bar started running out screaming, when all of a sudden, all the elements retracted.


    Then they all released like a bomb sending the elements everywhere and blowing up the entire bar.

 Chapter 4- The beginning

    I was just laying in my bed when I heard my mom call me downstairs, "Zeit, could you come downstairs."


    I quickly went downstairs, when all of a sudden. I heard a large explosion in the distance. It was pretty far but it still sounded like it was in the outskirts.


    "Mom, please go hide." I said while running upstairs.


    "Why and where are you going?" My mom said with a worried face.


    "I''m just going to check what''s happening."


    "Fine, don''t get involved with anything and come back and soon as you sense danger okay?"


    "Okay, thanks."


    I hurriedly ran upstairs and into my room, I grabbed the dagger of growth. I opened the window of my room and jumped out. When I landed I increased the size of the dagger into a sword and quickly ran in the direction of the explosion.


    Dang it, it was where the suspicious people were. They were probably apart of Edward''s crew. Just as I thought they were going to bait the soldiers and guards out of the city.


    But, too bad for them, the guards and soldiers stationed in the outskirts were a lot stronger then they were. But some would be dispatched anyways.


    I don''t expect Edward to come here, he is probably in the city and going to attack from there. But I think he has miscalculated, we might lose some people but in the end they might end up losing.


    I was approaching the place where the explosion happened. A lot of people were running and screaming out of there. But I ran opposite to where the people where running.


    I saw a group of people wreaking havoc and the guards weren''t here yet. When they saw me they all launched their elemental attacks at me. I dodged some and sent some back at them.


    "Take it easy on a kid, will ya?" I said with a grin.


    "Don''t get too cocky kid, you just got lucky." One of the guys said back who seemed to be already annoyed.


    I charged at them deflecting their attacks when two charged at me. One guy with fire in his hands the other with electricity. They tried to punch me, the fire guy went for my lower body whereas the lightning guy went for my upper Body


    "Huh, no problem." I said while jumping up and using telekinesis.


    "Well sorry mom, but I need to test my new blade out."


    I increased the size of the dagger to a huge blade and struck down at them. They dodged it and the moment I landed I looked infront of me to see a wind vortex flying towards me. I quickly shrunk the size of the sword to get down and dodge the attack.


    But a surge of ice and firey waves and lightning welcomed me, shit. I used telekinesis to stop all of them and control them and then continued to fling them far away into the buildings.


    As for the elements, I sent them at the two in the back while charging at them but before I knew it ice frozen my feet and a barrier of strong winds stopped my attack.


    A few wind blades were sent at me, I was stuck in the ice and couldn''t do anything. Well expect this. I continued to increase the size of my blade and used it as a shield.


    I quickly broke off the ice on the ground with telekinesis and flung it at them. I felt a hot sensation near the back of my head. Then, I realised I was in danger and ducked. I turned around and used my sword to throw the guy off balance.


    Using telekinesis I buried him into the ground surrounded by rocks. I looked back to the two guys and they were charging at me. One of the guys reached out his palm and a burst of wind was produced.


    Before I could react, it reached it and flew me backwards into a building. Shit, now I was in trouble. A surge of ice rushed towards me and froze me in my tracks. Damn it, I was too cocky.


    Well, my sword was to thank again, I once again increased the size to destroy the ice, I quickly got up to see a huge ball of ice with electricity coming my way.


    I controlled it and split it into smaller balls of electricity and ice and then send it back at them at an insane speed. The other guys deflected them in time but the lightning guy wasn''t so lucky. A few balls of fire hit him hard and flung him backwards. It seemed like he was unconscious now.

    I rushed towards them and the remaining two guys prepared to attack me with their elements ready in their hands but when they released it, I jumped and flew upwards. Before gathering wind and my hand and blasting them down.


    It also created a smoke screen. So using my large and enlarged sword I struck down to the ground clearing the smoke. I saw them conjuring a hybrid spell, a spell that two vessels can combined and use like a combo spell.


    Icy winds that howled loudly and angrily. Next, it was concentrated into one large sphere and was launched it me. It a large sphere the closer it came towards Me, the colder the temperature was.


    It was very cold now and I could feel some ice freezing on my body. Using the wind around me I concentrated it and sent it to the sphere. These two clashed for a while before they both bursted and large winds bursted out from the clash.


    It felt very cold and before I froze completely I jumped and flew backwards onto a building and built myself a little wall all using telekinesis, the winds were strong but from this far the winds weren''t strong enough to break the wall.


    When the winds stopped, I looked back to see the wind guy froze and past out the only guy left standing was the ice guy.


    Before I knew it, several ice spears and icicles were sent flying my way. I quickly crushed them midair with telekinesis and with the ice particles and little ice chunks that were left, I made a big spear to launch back at him.


    He dispelled it creating a lot of smoke, just as I thought I was just using the ice spear as an distraction. So I could do my next move. I jumped above him and slashed down at him.


    He didn''t have time to react and he sent a ice surge at me. I had nowhere to dodge and in midair. Now I was frozen in midair. It seemed like it was over for me.


    Next thing I knew, I stood on top of the ice guy''s body he seemed like he was dead..... I didn''t have any memory of doing this. I blacked out a few moments after I got frozen.


    "Hey kid, you took down 4 of our guys?" A guy yelled out from a crowd of people who seemed to be from Edward''s crew.


    "Hey kid, you''ve done enough. A voice behind me called out.


    It was the outskirts defence squadron that was stationed in these parts. There were a few dozen of them and they could probably take care of them.


    "So, you can go back if you want now."


    "Oh thanks but, could I spectate." I needed to see what the guards could do for my plans later on.


    "You sure? Well just keep yourself safe."


    I leapt backwards onto a building behind the squadron to spectate. I needed them to handle most of the Edward''s crew so I could go to the city and handle Edward together with the other guards in the city.


    This was totally different from last time. Last time he charged head on into the outskirts he managed to kill most of the citizens before the guards and some lieutenants arrived to handle Edward.


    The battle started, each side rushing towards eachother. The sound of swords clanging and colliding. The sound of the different powers and strengths were on the battlefield.


    The surrounding houses were mostly destroyed. It seemed like the defence squadron was trying to push them out of the outskirts and away from houses to prevent damages.


    The crew members were falling one by one and the defence squadron were standing strong. I knew they could hold their ground, my past life it was due to Edward they had lost.


    Hmm, now a few squadron members were missing I looked around to see them appearing from the shadows attacking the crew from all sides.


    Their plan was good, but it wasn''t enough, the crew started pushing back with their relics'' awakenings. And a few defense squadron started falling.


    When all of a sudden one of the female defense squadron members which I had my eye on, since she was pretty skilled and was the one who was standing behind the guy who was talking to me.


    Unleashed her relic, thunder and lightning sparkled around her, wait Zeus?! No, just then a hammer started forming Infront of her and some armour of lightning formed on her


    She was the vessel of ''The Worthy Thunder'' Thor. He is a pretty strong celestial (Author''s note: gods will be known as Celestials now to better fit the title). One of the strongest Celestials in the Norse mythology and the Norse galaxy cluster.


    She hammered her way through the crew lightning spreading around the crew and paralysing or electrocuting them. Before she jumped up and called upon lightning by raising the hammer.


    Lightning struck her hammer and when she fell she hammered and smashed the ground sending electricity in every direction and also destroying the ground.


    Damn not a good idea to do that if you''re trying to minimise damage. "Ughh, Alice how many time do I have to tell you we are trying to minimise damage." The guy who seemed to be the captain said while walking up to her then pulling her ear.


    "Sorryyyy, captain." The girl replied.


    Then the thunder disappeared from her body. Revealing her black and white uniform which complimented her long wavy silverish white hair. Her blue eyes just added to her beauty.


    Just then a wind, a strong wind came by and sent chills down my spine and also sent Alice''s hair in the wind. Her hair was flowing in the wind revealing her long ears.


    Wait, an elf with long silver hair and blue eyes and her name is Alice? Alice Elfian of the royal elf family of one of the islands between Odinia and Helena. She was the princess of the Elf race and that island but, what is she doing here at Gyrofil.


    She wasn''t apart of the outskirts defence squadron at this time, I never noticed her. And even if she was here there was no way I wouldn''t have noticed her beauty.


    Just then I sensed danger approaching. I looked around to see nothing then in the sky to see someone with a glowing fist ready to smash down into the ground.


    "Guys, above you!!" I yelled "Quickly run!"


    They had no time to react, so I had no choice but to use telekinesis to get all of them out of there quickly.


    If it was the old me, the past life me at age 14, I couldn''t handle carrying around 40 people and quickly repositioning them. But due to my experience and mind I could do it now.


    The guy smashed into the ground and sent rocks and debris flying everywhere. Red energy and firey waves flowed out of his hands into the ground and around the air. There were some people left down below which I didn''t see earlier but that wasn''t the biggest problem right now.


    I looked at him to see a big scar on his right eye and familiar looking black long wavy hair that went to around his shoulders. He landed in a pretty cool way but this was no time to be admiring.

 Chapter 5- The pirate of the land

    Along with Edward falling from the sky and crashing into the ground with debris flying everywhere, his crew also started surrounding us. From all sides. Thank god the defense squadron were able to push the crew outside of the outskirts or else this would''ve been real bad.


    But we weren''t far from the outskirts we were still pretty close. Worse of all I haven''t had anytime to practice.


    Damn it, I knew Edward would attack but I didn''t think he would attack the outskirts first. I figured he would just attack from inwards and not face us head on, I mean he already had great position for this.


    While I was lost in thoughts I got sneak attacked by someone from behind. He swung his sword at me, but I was able to dodge in time, I didn''t know what was this but, I was able to sense danger all this time and was able to react in time. I didn''t have this power in my first life at all.


    I quickly condensed air in my fist and punched him away. A few more tried to sneak up on me, but I quickly used telekinesis and flung them away.


    "Well,well,well, if it isn''t the little elf princess and also Thor''s vessel." Edward started speaking


    Most of us stayed quiet until the captain spoke.


    "Alice, can you handle Edward? You just need to buy time." The captain spoke to Alice.


    "Umm, I''ll try"


    "Alright, take him to a far away place from here."


    Just then Edward started to glow yellow and gold with the skin and fur of a lion appearing of his shoulder and he became physically bigger. His eyes started glowing a light red and claw like fingers started appearing on his hand. All of them shaped by a yellow aura.


    "First Labour, The Pride Of The Nemean Lion" A burst of wind bursted from the position of Edward.


    Alice also started glowing blue with sparks of lightning appearing around her.she gain some armour, a helmet all made of lightning. Then a hammer, a handheld sledgehammer with a large head started to materialise Infront of her.


    She rushed towards Edward at a lightning quick speed which even Edward couldn''t react to. Her speed was surprising due to the size of the hammer. She hit Edward hard and sent Edward flying.


    Alice quickly disappeared, appearing once again on top of Edward and smashing him into the ground. But, Edward was unaffected, he lifted the hammer and threw alice away. Alice quickly regained her balance and headed towards Edward again.


    But, I noticed something wrong, Edward started glowing a tint of green and large antlers started materialising on his head. Shit, he had used his third labour.


    I quickly threw the sword and used telekinesis in the air and itself to make it go faster with less air resistance and also made it the size of a dagger.


    It had gotten there before Edward could do severe damage to Alice. I quickly increased the size of the dagger and grew it to a massive size and it had blocked Edward''s attack.


    I quickly rushed their using the same technique I used to accelerate the dagger. Once I had gotten there at a impressive speed. I grabbed the handle and decreased the size back into a sword and stroke down at Edward.


    But Edward blocked it with no effort, just as I thought. But it gave an opening for Alice to attack. She decreased the size of the hammer for a quick strike and sent Edward into the ground. I quickly pierced into his heart.


    But it wasn''t over, Edward started smiling and a purple energy bursted out that sent both of us flying. It was the "eight heads of the hydra" which gave him eight lives. And each time he gains power and a timer once the timer runs out he gains all the damage and pain he would''ve gotten.


    he rushed towards me but it was almost like he disappeared and appeared in front of me. And tried to punch me but I ducked and tried to stab him but he grabbed me blade and threw me away but I regained my balance.


    He rushed towards me once again but was intercepted by Alice. Alice smashed him but he backed away in time leaving her to smash into the ground.


    Just then, Edward took out the blade of extraction and swung down at Alice. But I once again threw my blade and intercepted his strike. Using telekinesis I flew over there and grabbed my blade.

    Edward was ready to welcome me with the strike of his sword but Alice was ready to block once again. I increased the length of the blade this time and tried to slash Edward''s head off, but he ducked and punched Alice away but she blocked with her hammer and minimised the damage but she was still sent flying.


    He sent a barrage of fist at me, but I levitated upwards into the air. "Ha, nice one kid." Edward blurted out.


    He continued by manifesting a red like energy then shot it at me as a beam but using telekinesis I changed the course of the beam and curved it back at Edward. He quickly absorbed it with his blade before sending a large blade of energy at me followed by a few smaller blades of energy.


    While I was falling down I stretched the blades of energy like a spider web before shaping it into a sphere. Then I continued to coat my sword in that energy. Then I slashed downwards at Edward but he blocked the attack with a slash of his own sword.


    We clashed swords sending red energy everywhere and the flame waves from Edward''s sword too. The ground beneath Edward started cracking and breaking.


    Alice appeared behind Edward to give a good hit to his back sending him flying.


    "Don''t ya think a kid shouldn''t be fighting someone like him." Alice said


    "well this ''kid'' can keep up with you." I replied with a smirk.


    Then Edward appeared infront of Alice targeting her this time. Eight heads of a snake started materialising with purple energy and Edward moved his left hand to match the eight heads leaving only afterimages and biting Alice.


    After the last hit Alice was thrown into the wall, before he could do more, I slashed down at Edward''s arm, but it was too tough to cut through. I tried to use telekinesis to help me cut through reducing air resistance and friction.


    Just then, I remembered a technique I used in my past life. Thinking of my telekinesis like hand gripping onto something other then being the actual item itself.


    I thought of this hand and pulled Edward''s arm from both sides. It actually worked, Edward''s arm came apart and was now severed.


    "Ho? You can do that?" Edward said without being surprised at all.


    I didn''t answer and just stared at him ready to counter his next move. Instead of disappearing and appearing Infront of me, he just started walking, slowly it was almost scary because his next move seemed unpredictable.


    He quickly stretched out his arm in Alice''s direction and shot a quick lightning shot. I was able to react in time and stop it.


    "You really won''t let me kill her huh?"


    He rushed at me and tried to slash my head off. But I had enough. "Play time''s over" I said with a serious tone. This entire time I had been limiting my use of telekinesis not using its full power.


    I pushed his blade away and next slammed him into the ground and kept him there. I had learned many things about my telekinesis and one of them was increasing the size and weight or mass of my target.


    I increased his weight and had him in the ground. But, he activated his sixth labour. And grew metal and iron wings and his skin grew metallic feathers and his hands became sharp with bronze, his severed arm had also been replaced with a bronze and iron one.


    He flew up and it almost seemed like he nullified the effects of the telekinesis. I tried to do it but, it was consumed too much aura if I used it again I would have almost no aura left to use.


    He rushed at me at a high speed. I flew away quickly into the sky to dodge him. I quickly put Alice at a farther safe distance. Before turning my attention back to Edward.


    He sent many metallic feathers at me, but I controlled and sent it back at him. He just took them and was unfazed. I knew I would have a disadvantage in the sky since it was his domain in the sixth labour.


    I flew down almost crashing into the ground. I was all alone left to face Edward now. Alice is unconscious and the others are busy with Edward''s underlings.


    He rushed towards me from the sky and made a blade out of the metallic feathers and tried to slash at me once again I had ducked and stabbed him in the stomach. But, he had covered it with metal to protect it.


    Before I could react, he kicked me in the stomach sending me far away and crashing into a giant boulder. I coughed up blood and almost went unconscious, but I managed to stay conscious.


    Edward came up to me, walking slowly. He approached me and grabbed my hair and pulled me up.


    "Hahaha, did you really think a kid like you could beat me?" Edward said mockingly.


    I stayed quiet more like I couldn''t gather the energy to speak. I felt pain throughout my entire body.


    No,no,no this cannot be the end, I just came back to the past just 2 days ago and I''m going to meet my end here?


    I noticed someone in a black hood nearby. They threw a rock at Edward, which distracted him. Enough for me to enlarge my blade and push him away.


    I quickly flew up with pain throbbing all over my body, I could barely stabilise myself. Edward''s sixth labour had seem to run out and he started coughing up blood and some parts of his body just started to explode sending blood and flesh everywhere.


    This was the price he had to pay for using the sixth labour, intense pain in the insides and the amount of feathers lost equals to the amount of parts exploding.


    I took this as a chance and went to strike down at him. He was defenceless and I took advantage of it, I severed his head and then stabbed right through his heart.


    That was his second life we took, he probably had already lost 2 in the past so he only had 4 lives left. I was lost in thoughts before I realised him being resurrected would send a burst of energy.


    I was knocked back once again and landed on the ground. The pain increased and I could feel nothing but pain. Edward appeared Infront of me and reached his hand down at me.


    He grabbed my neck and ready to finish me. He swung his arm back and then at my face with such force that I would''ve probably died even if I was in great condition.


    When all of a sudden, time... Seemed to slow.

 Chapter 6- The true name

    The mark of the blade of Arthur that was on my hand glowed and a golden glowing message appeared.

    The blade of Arthur was a shadow of the true blade of Arthur, the Excalibur. More like it''s son, it was Clarent the blade of Mordred the son or nephew of king Arthur depending on some sources the story varies.


    So in some sources just like how Mordred is known as the son of Arthur, Clarent is known as the son of the Excalibur.

    "Welcome back, old friend, Clarent."


    Clarent came flying cuting Edward''s arm off and flying into my grip. Edward leapt backwards with his remaining arm also severed. He quickly used his sixth labour to make another metal arm.


    I felt a lot better, my wounds started to heal and my energy, stamina and aura started to return. I felt rejuvenated. Ready for round 2 against Edward.


    I rushed in, and clashed with Edward. Before I had trouble clashing and keeping up with Edward, but now it was no problem. With Clarent in my hand I felt confident about defeating Edward now.


    I managed to push him back and exchanged blows, each blow pushing Edward back. He seemed to be getting annoyed now.


    He let out a roar a loud roar. Metallic feathers started appearing again, he had used his sixth labour once again.


    His wings flapped sending metallic feathers everywhere before they changed direction and came at me. I deflected and controlled some but their were simply too many of them.


    When I was almost hit a black void circle kind of like a portal appeared and the feathers went inside there. Before I heard a loud scream from Edward. Another portal had appeared Infront of Edward, and the feathers had struck him hard.


    I looked around before I heard a familiar voice yelling my name.


    "Zeit!"


    It was Raumia, he had come to help me out it looked like. He opened a portal and went through and another appeared beside me.


    "Zeit, let me help you with this."


    "Are you sure" I replied with skepticism.


    "Yes, I am sure."


    I hesitated but after seeing Raumia''s determined face.


    "Fine, just don''t die." I said while lending him the dagger of growth.


    "You know how that thing works right."


    "Of, course I''m a book nerd like you, Zeit"


    I rushed in from the front where as Raumia went into a portal. I clashed with Edward and exchanged blows with him.


    Raumia from behind sliced through Edward''s back. I was surprised, by that. I could even do anything with that when I was using it to fight Edward.


    I figured he used his spatial abilities to somehow slice through him. When he did it again I was sure of it.


    We went back and forth with Edward for a bit. There were some suspicious things I noticed a cloaked person. And some strage things about Edward.


    I was too focused on the fight to care though. When all of a sudden Edward shouted "Ahhh!! I have had enough".


    Different elements and powers started to gather in Edward''s hand he tightened his hand into a fist ready to send havoc down with his powerful attack.


    I had an idea, to block the attack with Clarent to absorb the powers then attack back. It was a high risk high reward situation, but I was willing to take it.


    I pushed Raumia away and readied for the incoming attack. Edward sent the first at me. I blocked with Clarent, I was a lot of force I almost felt like my arms were about to fall off, but the force weakened.

    Clarent glowed, with red and gold, when I knew it was time. That was also when I heard a message in my head.

    Raumia came back. "Raumia, could you buy some time for me." I said to Raumia


    "Okay, don''t take too long"


    "Alright, thanks.


    Raumia continued to slash at Edward, but Edward seemed to have the upper hand.


    "Clarent, AWAKEN."


    Red energy bursted out of the blade when a red hooded and cloaked figure emerged from the blade.


    "Master, may I know your name?" It was Clarent herself, the soul of the blade.


    "Zeit, Zeit Fuermado."


    "I see, who do you wish to defeat."


    "Him, Edward, the vessel of Hercules."


    "Understood."


    Clarent went back into the sword and the bursting red energy calmed. I knew it was ready.


    I rushed at Edward without a second thought, I told Raumia to get out of the way. He did it immediately.


    I struck down at Edward, and continue to pummel him with strikes of Clarent. He seemed to be getting overwhelmed. He sent feathers at me but I deflected and absorbed the shock.


    When I saw a opening, a chance to take another life. I ducked to dodge the incoming blow from Edward and struck and pierced right though his heart. 5 down 3 more to go.


    I leapt backwards, knowing about the incoming burst of energy and his climb in strength.


    This time not only the energy bursted out but some feathers too in all directions. Raumia made portals for all the feathers to go back to Edward. I was surprised that he was able to do this.


    I guess this was why, my parents took him to the war against the cogs.


    But, Raumia missed one and that one was heading straight towards someone, without a second thought I headed towards that person immediately.


    I deflected the feathers and more incoming ones before telling the cloaked figure to run away.


    Once again, Edward was struck with his own feathers due to Raumia. We had the upper hand now and we just needed to kill him 3 more times which is easier said then done.


    That was when I heard a voice from far away yell "Zeit! Raumia!" It was Hestia shit, no this can''t be happening.


    The next second, just as I suspected, Edward rushed towards Hestia and held her hostage. He had his claws near her neck ready to slice her throat open.


    But I sensed or noticed something. Edward had hesitated when he was going to put his claws up to Hestia''s throat. And I sensed no killing intent towards Hestia at all.


    Edward was a villain, he''d kill without mercy and didn''t hesitate to kill. He would have no remorse for those he killed. And he doesn''t even care about his crew members also killing them with no mercy.


    But, he did have mercy for some people. Children and women. He wouldn''t kill them no matter what, even in life or death situations. At most he would knock them out or injure them but not enough to kill them.


    I rushed forward with Clarent in my hand, still glowing a bright red and gold. "Zeit! Don''t do it!" Raumia yelled from behind me. But I didn''t care, I took the risk and gambled expecting the worse.


    Clarent bursted with energy before compressing into its blade and making it longer. I struck at Edward from the side Hestia was at. Edward immediately let go of Hestia and pushed her away.


    Edward blocked my attack with his claws before saying. "Have you gone mad??!! What kind of brother would strike at their own sister?!"


    "Well, the crazy kind who would take risks and gamble just with a hunch." I replied with my voice shaking.


    Just as I thought he wouldn''t kill women and children.


    "Are you crazy, you almost killed your own damn sister!!" Edward screamed.


    "Yeah but, I knew you wouldn''t kill her in fact I knew that you wouldn''t kill women and children." I was while I rushed towards him and struck at him.


    "Well you got me there." Edward replied while blocking my attack while setting up a counter attack.


    "I know you''re a pirate who kill without mercy. But, I also know that you''re just a pirate who''s a villain, not a monster." I said while getting ready to defend against Edward.


    Edward froze, when he heard the word monster. I didn''t know what happened but, I took this chance to try to kill him again. But he grabbed my blade and flung me away.


    Before getting thrown away by Edward, I heard him mutter something. "Shit, the price of the labours are almost here."


    I was startled but I quickly reacted by yelling to Raumia. "Raumia, just a bit longer."


    We both rushed at Edward, but he didn''t seem to want to defend. He instead ran past us towards Hestia. I was confused and scared of what he was going to do.


    But, Raumia was already there and pushed Edward back. I quickly went behind Edward and went to strike him down. He quickly react by turning to the side and grabbing my blade.


    I unleashed the energy of the blade destroying his metallic arm. Energy bursted out of Clarent and I yelled out. "CLARENT, AWAKEN!"


    More red energy bursted out from the hilt. It was unstable but I managed to grip it and took a slash at Edward. He tried to defend against it but was pushed far away.


    I quickly rushed towards him to give him another strike but when I struck down metallic feathers just fell apart, where the hell did Edward go, I wondered.


    I heard Hestia yell from behind, shit no no no. I looked back to see Raumia clashing with Edward, he was holding his own. Slashing off Edward''s metallic arm each time he swung.


    When did he learn to fight this well. No, when did he learn to coat a blade with his voids to slice through things without any effort. I guess this was the reason why my parents took him to the war of ages.


    The war of ages was a three way war between Odinia, our country, Thorina, one of our neighbouring countries. And the Cogs, it was called the war of ages due to its gruesomeness, cruelty, loss and how long the war lasted. It was probably the biggest war in that decade and I would have to experience a year or two from now.


    Edward, managed to push Raumia back far away well more like flung him away with a hit. He grabbed Hestia by the collar. Hestia was begging and crying "Big brothers, save me!" Shit, no what is Edward planning to do.


    Is it perhaps ''Conversion''? If it was then this is really bad, wait the price of labours timer was almost up. He would collapse any second now.


    Edward jumped up with Hestia in his hands. he used his third and sixth labour to gain great speed and accelerated. Hestia was knocked out by the speed immediately.


    I just stood there, empty, not knowing what to do.

 Chapter 7- Nothings New

    Edward had took off into the forest I stood there empty with nothing to do. My heart racing like never before, the feeling of losing a family member twice was overbearing.


    That''s when I heard a voice behind me "What are you doing just standing there?" Raumia said while standing behind me.


    I looked at him confused before he emitted an aura that gave off my vibes. He had used his spiritualla, successor which allows him to use other people''s powers based on his understanding of the ability.


    "Don''t tell me."


    "Yeah, come on we have no time to waste."


    Raumia lifted me into the air ready to fling to towards Edward. I raised a rock and put my feet up against the rock and charged Clarent with energy ready to go bursting towards Edward.


    With no time to waste at the exact same time Raumia flung me I kicked my feet off the rock and swung my blade releasing energy sending me forward.


    I was using my telekinesis to reduce air resistance and Raumia was using his to boost me forwards I used energy from Clarent as extra boosters.


    I soar through the air and the forest with Edward slowly coming into my sight. I readied Clarent to strike down Edward. But Edward seemed to become faster and faster.


    At this point I wouldn''t catch up to Edward and Raumia wouldn''t be able to support me from such distance. I charged Clarent with energy that I hadn''t seen before even in my past life.


    That''s when a flashback from Clarent came when it was sealed in the academy of Gyrofil. All the friction and pain and dulling from the chains and the heat and coldness that Clarent had overcome all these came back as one powerful burst of energy.


    "CLARENT, AWAKEN."


    Clarent shot an energy beam into the sky. It was so long I couldn''t see the end of it. The width of the energy beam only grew as it got longer. This much energy couldn''t be compressed.


    I struck down at the direction and of Edward and hit him. A direct hit, it slammed Edward into the ground but he managed to block it with his arms but he would be severely injured.


    I stopped in front of Edward ready to deal the finishing blow but, Edward smiled no a smirk, a grin that felt like he said that I miscalculated.


    "Nice fight kid, but this is the end."


    I held up the blade ready to defend against whatever he was about to pull. He lifted up his hand, his palm facing me, I readied for the incoming attack, but what came wasn''t an attack. But, a void like portal came out.


    He went inside alongside my sister, I tried to chase after them but, it was too late, the portal had already closed. It was over.


    The battle was over and it was no different from last time, I had lost my sister once again. I stood there once again empty, my thoughts filled with nothingness.


    I felt empty, and disappointed because I couldn''t prevent something I promised to myself that I would prevent it. Nothing was new only the fact that Edward left the Extraction Blade, I got The Growth Dagger and Clarent early.


    The only thing I could hope for now was that Edward would ''convert'' Hestia instead of killing her. Killing her would be the worse case scenario but ''conversion'' would still be bad since I would have to fight her again in the future.


    I slowly started walking back, with no thoughts inside my mind at all, just the feeling for emptiness and void.


    I didn''t know how long I was walking for I didn''t care about anything, the only thing I had on my mind now was losing Hestia and disappointment.


    I came out of the forest to see Raumia with a relieved face before turning to anxious and worried.


    "Where''s Hestia? Are you okay, Zeit?" Raumia asked.


    I couldn''t feel anything I was so tired from the fight and using that much energy, the walking and the speed that I travelled to catch up to Edward and finally the emotional impact was the last straw.


    I had collapsed and blacked out. The last thing I saw was Raumia and a few guardians who were stationed at Gyrofil rushing towards me and I heard a clanging noise from Clarent falling down.


    When I woke up, I found myself in a bed, a pretty comfortable bed. I had many bandages over my body, my leg was hung up it looked like it was broken, my arm was bandaged up too it seemed like Clarent prevented all the pain from getting to my head and kept my limbs in function.

    The doctors noticed that I had woken up and quickly went to call my parents and Raumia. They came in with mixed feelings from what I could see. They seemed to be worried, anxious and relieved.


    My mom though was an exception, her face was full of tears she seemed to be relieved but I couldn''t sense that emotion.


    The doctor broke the silence "You have been unconscious for 3 days."


    Reality hit me hard everything I had gone through these past few days came back and I found myself with flowing tears from my eyes again running down the side of my face.


    "We were worried sick." My mom said with tears in her eyes.


    "Yeah, we didn''t know what to do if we lost another family member." Raumia said next.


    I expected my dad or mom to scold me about risking my life but, they did not, my dad stood there silent and my mom was crying while sitting beside me.


    Even after all that sleeping I was still tired both mentally and physically and blacked out once again, I could''ve been asleep for a few more days but who knows.


    When I had woken up there seemed to be no one in the room now the light peeking through the window showed an orange colour, I figured this was around sunset.


    I looked at the window to see a girl just sitting there. Long luscious black hair flowing in the wind. Emerald green eyes which would just get complimented by the orange light of the sunset which fell upon her.


    Every feature of her face complimented each other from her long lashes to her glowing and shiny emerald green eyes. She seemed to be too perfect for this cruel world.


    She had her hand on her ears holding on to her hair as the wind blew past her. She was looking out of the window into the beautiful sunset which I could care less about, there was something, no someone way more beautiful here.


    That was when I realised I had been staring, I didn''t know what I had been thinking. This was a girl I have never met before. And I had already started to think of her this way, how stupid.


    Lost in thoughts, I hadn''t realised the girl had turned my way and was looking straight at me while tilting her head a little. It seemed to be a gesture of confusion but it just turned her elegance earlier into pure cuteness.


    "Um, hi." A voice I hadn''t expected, this was a way cuter voice then I had thought, I expected her voice to be a bit more elegant due to my first impression of her.


    But, this voice seemed to fit her more now that she started to look cuter than elegant.


    "Have we met before?" I asked after I recognised her a bit, feeling like I had seen her before.


    "Yes, actually." She replied with some nervousness in her voice.


    "Really, I never really saw you though, if I did I would never forget someone as beautiful as yo--." Before I realised these words just slipped out of my mouth.


    I quickly covered my mouth with my one hand that was still fine.


    She giggled a bit before replying, "Well, actually both times we have met I almost had my entire body covered.


    "Really?? That was you?" I replied with genuine suprise in my voice.


    "Yes, I was wearing glasses and black contacts, that''s probably why you couldn''t recognise me."


    "I see." I replied before an awkward silence took over.


    After a few moments had gone by, the girl broke the silence "Oh also, thanks for saving me a few days ago."


    "Huh, what do you mean?" I replied with confusion


    "Well, when you were fighting Edward."


    "Yeah? Wait how do you know I fought Edward?"


    "Well everyone in the city knows you as their saviour now."


    "Wait, seriously?"


    "Yes."


    "How long have I been out for."


    "Around 3 days since you woke up, so around 6 days I guess."


    "Really? Almost a week has past?" I said while trying to get up.


    "Wait no!" The girl yelled


    I tried getting up, but my body screamed no. And my body was filled with pain and I ended up falling down on the bed again that led to more pain.


    "Are you okay?"


    "Yeah, just a lot of pain."


    "Well, you shouldn''t try to do that again."


    "Yeah that is true.


    After that an awkward silence took over once again. I took this chance to revise what had happened up until now.


    I arrived here around 7-8 days ago in the library, not knowing anything before realising I was in the past now. Next I went back home on the way I found some goons and I beat the heck out of them.


    After arriving home and seeing my family after so many years, tears started to fall. After that I had dinner and slept. After waking up I helped my mom prepare breakfast and ate.


    I went out to the city and to the blacksmith got dagger of growth, then to the academy where Clarent displayed that strange text. I took it as rejection before going to the library and getting Arthur''s book on the way I bumped into this girl.

    Most people just know the blade of Arthur as a replica of the real one Excalibur not as Clarent the son of Excalibur.


    "Well, I heard you yell and rant about Clarent in your sleep and in your fight you were yelling ''CLARENT, AWAKEN.''"


    "Oh, yeah" I replied embarrassingly.


    I was too suspicious about her and I was also embarrassed about my ranting in my sleep.


    After that, we kept chatting about random things we came up with. From this city to spiritullas to relics and gods and also vessels.


    I enjoyed talking to her so much I hadn''t noticed that the darkness had once again took over the beautiful orange painted sky.


    "Oh, it''s already dark now." The girl reminded me.


    "I should probably head back now."


    "Oh okay."


    "Oh yeah before you go, I haven''t asked you about your name."


    "Oh yeah, I forgot, about it. Sorry."


    "It''s fine I also forgot about it too." I figured she already knew my name because I was practically famous now from what I heard from her.

 Chapter 8-Decisions

    It was the year 764 around may when it happened. I was summoned to my leader''s office and meeting room along with the other guardians.


    "This is probably one of the most important wars and largest of the century." He started.


    He didn''t continue to talk, he went silent. Allowing the whispers and the sound of guardians talking to eachother take over.


    "And many of you may not make it out alive." He continued and everyone else in the room went silent immediately.


    "What we''re up against is not a kingdom or a rebellious group."


    After he said that everyone''s whisper and talking took over again due to what he just said.


    "What we''re up against right now, is a single person. One able to conjure an army of millions. One we did not pay attention to until we were too late."


    "This may be one of the largest battles you may fight in and also may be your last."


    "So who is this person." I finally decided to speak up.


    "Her name is Eme, Eme Oriheio, yet we refer to her as the humanoid calamity or the queen of the night. As far as I''m concerned she does not have a blesser so she is not a vessel but what she is, is a pure cog."


    Pure cogs are basically when celestials take over a person who is not a vessel and this usually happens because their spiritualla is similar to that of the celestial.


    "Well who is the god that took over her?" I asked


    "Persephone, great lady of the underworld. As of now, as we''re speaking, the calamity is currently incubating and evolving in order to be a great fit for Persephone to take over."


    "Wait does that mean that the calamity''s soul is connected to the underworld and her spiritulla is necromancy?" one of the guardians asked.


    "Yes and no," he answered "her soul is connected to the underworld but her spiritulla isn''t necromancy, infact it''s the ruler of evil."


    Ruler of evil, a spiritulla that allows one to manifest evil being who are pure evil no matter from where they are. From the demon world, underworld or the human world itself.


    These pure evil beings are loyal to their master and obey their commands. And they are also very powerful as well the average being ranking around high 5 star in overall power.


    "Well, the reason I called you here today wasn''t to just tell you about that." Our leader continued "We... have to come up with a tactic for this battle."


    We have mostly been following orders from the higher ups and the councils of Odinia and here they decided to trust the council of the guardians to come up with a battle tactic.


    I wasn''t apart of the council of guardians so I didn''t exactly need to be here. "Well, those who are not apart of the council may leave now." Our leader said next which confirmed my prediction.


    "Um.. Zeit?" Eme snapped me out of my flashbacks.


    I had been blanky staring at her this entire time. "Oh sorry" I replied.


    "Well, like I said I should be going now, it''s getting dark."


    "Oh yeah, you should go back soon."


    "And you should get some sleep."


    And just like that Eme had left leaving only me in my hospital room just laying there in the bed. Where my mind was once again filled with questions and I struggled to answer them.


    Eme would be a valuable asset to have, she had massive potential and could be even stronger then some low 7 star guardians at her highest even without becoming the humanoid calamity.


    If I train her and take her under my wing, she could become really powerful and we might be able to prevent her becoming the calamity.


    I''ve already started to get close to her a bit, it won''t be long until I will be able to take her under my wing or become at least companions or something. But no matter what I couldn''t let her become the calamity.


    Just then I remembered something or someone. "Clarent." I called out expecting some sort of response.


    That''s when I heard a "Yes master?" From inside my head.


    "It''s been a while." Clarent said to my suprise.


    "Hmm, what do you mean Clarent." I replied.

    "Well, it feels good to at least know that, since I feel like I will be serving you for a while."


    That night, I couldn''t sleep at all. Maybe from the questions flooding my mind or maybe because I have gotten to much sleep the last few days.


    I took this chance to think about what to do next. I first wanted to get acquainted with Eme and then maybe head for a guardians academy soon once I turn 15.


    And with my wounds I wouldn''t be able to do anything for a month or two.


    "Also, with my abilities, power and aura flowing through you, you may heal your injuries fairly quickly." Clarent said from inside my mind.


    I was surprised before I was relieved that I would be able to train for a bit and get worthy to pass the guardians academy entrance test in the capital of Odinia.


    I needed to be at least high 4 star vessel to be able to participate as of now I am only a low 3 star vessel.


    I might want to pick up adventuring for a while before going to the guardians academy. The guardians entrance test is around September one month after August so in total I have around 5 months left before going there.


    I had plenty of time to get stronger and get more allies for my end goal. So I wanted to pick up adventuring and also become a climber.


    A climber is someone that climbs a tower of dungeons and monsters almost like a labyrinth but it went upwards instead of into the ground.


    It''s close to adventuring but these are two different things. I wanted to pick up both of these due to its high amount of rewards and how much I would grow from it.


    The legal age for adventuring was only 14 and climbing was 16, but with my looks and height anyone could mistake me for someone around 16 so I could just make a fake id for that but I would get in a lot of trouble.


    But, I didn''t care about legal problems what I did worry about was how my family would react to me wanting to be an adventurer or a climber after we just lost Hestia.


    That one thought stuck by me all night never leaving my mind. Creating different scenarios about how they would react and most of them were in a negative way.


    After almost drowning in thoughts and questions that flooded in mind I had finally fallen asleep, and I slept peacefully.


    Even though I slept peacefully, i couldn''t say the same about my dreams it was far from peaceful. It was my worst nightmare----literally.


    This nightmare was like a rollercoaster, where it took me from one bad memory to another, from Hestia dying and her last moments in my arms to myself dying after all that suffering which I would say wasn''t that bad.


    What was bad was that one memory of just getting a message by a guardian that the war was over and that I had lost all the remaining members of my family, Raumia, mother and father.


    It flashed many bad memories when all of a sudden I was jolted awake by somebody poking my arm and then shaking me awake.


    "Are you okay, Zeit?" It was, Raumia he was sitting right beside the bed I was laying on.


    "I''m fine, but where is mom and dad." I answered.


    "Are you sure you''re okay? You were sweating a lot in your sleep." Raumia shot back with a worried tone. "As for mom and dad they are gonna come and visit but they will come a lot later."


    "I see and there is something that I wanted to tell them."


    "Hmm? What is it?"


    "Umm, I want to become an adventurer." I just said adventurer because if I had said climber I knew that he would have an insane reaction to this.


    "Are you serious? We just lost Hestia and you want to become an adventurer?" Raumia answered with a serious tone.


    "Yes, I am serious about this, and I need to get experience if I want to become a guardian."


    "Well that is true, you can get experience for that and you always said you wanted to do that." Raumia said a bit calmer this time. "I might approve but mom and dad will not have as calm of a reaction as me."


    "Yes, I know."


    "Infact, they are a bit more angry or so with you, both about risking your life and about Hestia. So it may not be a good time to tell them about this."


    Yeah that was true I needed to make up with them first and get them a bit on their good side. They are probably really angry with me about this attack but, during my past life and around when Edward attacked I tried to save Hestia but she ended up dying.


    Back then, they reacted positively and seemed like wasn''t mad or angry with me at all but, I don''t know if this time might be the same.


    Looking back now, after learning everything about well everything I could in my past life. Hestia also had a lot of potential, if she had awakened her relic she would''ve lived.


    "Anyways, I''m gonna go now and I put your breakfast to your right, you should be able to eat with your right hand still working." Raumia snapped me out of my thoughts.


    "Oh, well okay, see you later."


    After Raumia left and I had finished eating, I tried to get a feeling for my relic that was inside of me. I closed my eyes and focused on the emblem of gears intertwining on my right hand.


    I felt a green glow on it but it wasn''t a large glow though, but just knowing that this amount of green aura coming off from the emblem was enough to utilise my relic a bit was enough for me.


    My body emitted a green glow of aura yet the aura on my hand around my emblem was a different shade of green a bit more light in colour and also had a tint of gold flowing around.


    I tried to pour my green aura emitted from my soul and spirit into my relic but no matter what I did it felt like it bounced back and only a tiny bit not even around one tenth of the aura I tried to pour in actually went in.


    I tried to do this for a while as minutes if not an hour or two past, trying various different methods to do this yet it didn''t work it kept giving the same result.


    But, as I was meditating, I had noticed some kind of golden aura in the air around me. Noticing it was the same shade as the gold around my emblem, I started and tried to gather it little by little slowly but surely I had made a sphere out of this golden aur---


    The door had slammed open snapping me out of my concentration and making me lose focus. Which led to the golden sphere disappearing and without focus I couldn''t feel around the aura particles anymore.


    I looked to see who it was at the door, two figures stood there they seemed to be visibly angry or frustrated.


    I widened my eyes before realising and finally having my full focus on them that they were my mother and father.

 Chapter 9-Resentment

    They look like they had a mixture of emotions from anger, madness, sadness, sorrow and depression. But there was one thing for sure, they looked furious.


    "We just lost Hestia and now you want to start adventuring?!?" My mother started.


    "I don''t think you''re even strong enough to become and adventurer." My father added. "That girl with Thor as her blesser and Raumia was the reason you managed to defeat Edward!"


    What, I hadn''t even told them yet, how did they know of my plan, I only told Raumia about it. Did he tell them about me wanting to become an adventurer?


    Putting that aside they were more angry and furious then I thought they''d be. And it looked like those flames of angers weren''t calming down anytime soon."


    "Mother, father I am strong enough to become an adventurer. I went through Edward and I''m still alive and I even got a great blade out of it."


    "We do not care about that, you were never strong at all, whenever you got bullied or something, Raumia always came to the rescue!"


    "Wait putting that aside who told you about this, was it Raumia?" I asked genuinely curious.


    "Oh, of course not, we overheard your conversation with Raumia." My mother answered.


    "And don''t try to change the topic!! You almost died out there, you risked Raumia''s life and yourself and you told your mom to ''hide'' while you practically tried to kill yourself out their." My father said with his voice laced with anger and frustration.


    "And also thanks to you, Hestia''s been taken and she''s probably been killed by now."


    Anger started boiling inside me, I wanted to burst out my emotions back at them, but there was something holding me back. Even then, my face started showing visible frustration from them blaming me.


    This went on for around another hour before mother broke down crying and fell on her knees with a thud. My father quickly helped her up before finally going out of the door but not without glaring daggers at me over his shoulders.


    Throughout this entire ''one sided'' argument I stayed quiet just listening to them ranting on and on. Even with how much hatred I felt for them and anger in that moment, they were still my parents and I didn''t want to lose them.


    I wasn''t angry at them not letting me go adventuring, but I was angry at them for blaming everything on me, my injuries, Raumia''s injuries, Alice''s injuries and Hestia being taken.


    Now, they wouldn''t allow me to go adventuring off alone. So, I had to take matters into my own hands. I would go alone without their permission and practically run away from them.


    I wasn''t doing this to just get stronger to get into the guardians academy at Laxus the capital of Odinia, but I was doing this for their sake. I mean yeah at first they might be really angry but later the tension between us wouldn''t get in the way with everyday life because I wasn''t there.


    And plus, since my last life I had noticed something, many dangers were attracted to my presence or aura for some reason, and due to this my family almost died many times during my past life and a lot of people in the outskirts died a lot.


    I don''t have an actual cause or explanation to this but every time those dangers, albeit monsters or humans like Edward had always targeted the outskirts and to me and the people around me.


    Even now, Edward chose to target the outskirts instead of just destroying Gyrofil inside out.


    But, that was why I needed to escape from Gyrofil and to another city to start my adventuring journey. And now I need a plan to get all of that into motion.


    But, now I couldn''t concentrate my mind was still on the argument with my parents. The anger and sorrow filled my emotions to the brim not allowing any other emotions.


    I needed to clear my head and get some air and something to distract myself. Something to get my mind off of the argument and onto something else. Like someone to talk to and vent my frustrations out.


    Almost as if reading my mind "Is something bothering you, master?" Clarent voiced from within my mind.

    "Clarent, are you awake now?" I asked back to her."


    "Yes, master, I have replenished most of my aura." Clarent said before her voice disappearing and leaving from the blade and taking a physical form.


    She wore long red crimson hair that went down to a bit below her shoulders. Her crimson hair was wavy like the waves of a sea of blood on the shore.


    Her eyes brightened with golden colours complimenting her pale face. She wore a long crimson dress almost complimenting her crimson hair.


    She turned around and looked into my soul with those golden eyes of hers which I couldn''t take my eyes off of.


    "Master, is something bothering you." Clarent asked with a deadpan expressions and no emotions laced in her voice.


    "Family problems." I sighed.


    "In that case, I may not be of any help since I am just a blade." Clarent answered back.


    "Well it''s fine Clarent, I just needed someone to talk to so I could clear mind."


    "Well, what would you like to talk about."


    "So, what do you think about adventuring?" I asked randomly."


    "Well, the last few of my masters decades ago were adventurers and it seemed like a tough yet fun job."


    "I agree, it can give experience and you can enjoy it compared to climbers. And you said you had a few masters before me other then Mordred?"


    "Yes, of course, before I had become the treasure of Gyrofil."


    "And I guess you have been there, chained up for a decade or two?"


    "Not quite, around 4-5 decades actually."


    "You were trapped that long?!" I said with genuine suprise.


    "Yes and the power you used with the friction that was built up was merely 10%."


    Just that moment, a knock could be heard from the door."


    "Clarent, into the blade." I commanded.


    "You may come in."


    It was Eme, still with her long Luscious jet black hair, opened the door and came in.


    "Hmm? Eme? What brings you here?"


    "Well, I wanted to let you know that, I will be leaving soon for Laxus city." Eme said to my suprise.


    "Really? For what."


    "I''m going there to register as a climber."


    "A climber?? My voice filled shock and suprise.


    "Yes and I came here to say goodbye."


    "Wait, why not become an adventurer first, I was also heading for Laxus city to become an adventurer." I asked.


    "Actually I have already become an adventurer before and now I''m becoming a climber."


    "Oh I see."


    "Well, anyways I don''t think you would be able to join me due to your injuries."


    That would''ve been a problem, but thanks to Clarent my wounds and injuries would heal faster and take around a week or two to heal and become functional again.


    "Actually, it would heal in around a week or two"


    "Wait really?"


    "Yes, act¡ª


    "Well why am I even surprised, this is the person who defeated Edward that we''re talking about." Eme interrupted.


    "Yeah that is true."


    "So, I guess I will have to wait around a well for you to get better." Eme said with a warm and welcoming smile that seemed genuine and reached to her emerald green eyes.


    Talking with her really cleared my mind and made me feel a lot better and just forget about everything. She seemed like an angel sent down from the heavens but in my past life though...... not quite.


    After she had left I took some time trying to meditate and gather the golden aura again. Clarent had also manifested into her humanoid form and was sitting across the bed I was meditating on, giving me a sense of comfort.


    I closed my eyes and started focusing on my green aura first before I became more aware of all the different coloured aura around me, probably from all of the spiritullas used in Gyrofil.


    And the golden aura that emitted from my emblem on my hand and other people''s emblems, I guessed were probably emitted from using their relics.


    I tried to gather the golden aura, using the same method I had used before. It took a while to gather the stringy like aura of gold and little orbs of golden aura too.


    After a while, I had finally gathered them into one place, I couldn''t condense them into a sphere like before though. So I tried to just control the stringy aura because it seemed to be the same type as the aura that emitted from my emblem.


    It took a while, trying to separate the orbs and tiny streams of aura but after a while I separated them into two sides. The orbs were just like little spheres glowing and the streams of aura were just swirling around.


    I decided to work with the streams first. I started by trying to pour them into my emblem first, without doing anything. And this time it actually showed some progress but not all of it got into my emblem though.


    After that I tried to pull them by controlling one end of each stream and swirling them into a circle point in a circular pattern almost like a orbit.


    After trial and error I got it into a swirling kind of sphere, with golden aura or relic aura which I decided to start calling it that, still leaking. I tried to do the spaghettification method.


    By focusing on a single point of the sphere and pulling on that point. I managed to turn it into a thick long noodle of relic aura. I thought of to try to do the same with my greenish and golden relic aura.


    I tried to get all of the aura from my emblem out and almost past out trying. I achieved it at last and also left a bit of aura left in there just in case.


    I did the same process as before also turning it into a smaller thick and long noodle of my relic aura. I started focusing on one point and almost like a black hole or gravitational force. I swirled them into that place and into a sphere.


    It started reacting really crazy and before condensing into a ball of aura that started leaking streams of little aura like before. The colour was a lighter shade in green, a lime green with little golden streams of aura swirling around.


    It seemed like it would accept this kind of aura into my body, so I tried controlling a stream of aura leaking into my emblem and it worked, my body accepted it.


    I had purified the environmental relic aura into an aura that my body would accept, my relic aura, Chronos'' relic aura.
