《The Coral's Enchanted Voyage》 Prologue Chapter (Arrival in Other World) Deep in the ocean blue lies a Female Humanoid only goes by the name of Helen, but she was slowly descending into the depths of abyss, but she was not alone she could see thousands of bodies all are male. Helen felt very cold and wet as she looks up with the light only dimming as further, she approaches to the bottom. Was this her fate, to be left in the cold depths of the abyss? Had her fate already been written by someone? These are the questions she kept telling herself as she descends deeper into the unknown. Her memories were shattered like glass, with only glimpse of her memories only being recognisable. But a single memory flashed in front her eyes, which was a mighty prestigious ship of an unknown navy that had ever sailed. The many adventures it went and all the friends it met on the way. As Helen was as temporarily closing her eyes, accepting that the fact she would be no longer with this world. It felt hours had passed only for her to feel painful bump on her forehead, when she reopened her eyes, it took a while for her to realise the bottom of a random 5-inch shell had bumped against her forehead. Helen looks around only see more water and no light in its depth, she could hear faint sounds or echoes through the water. "Why do I have to die?" :(???) "I was young to die." :(???) "Please, I swear to god that someone would avenge us." :(???) Helen knew that whatever is dragging her down would mean certain death, but she felt powerless to stop it. She closed her eyes, hoping that a quick drowning death would free her what situation she is in, as the time passed. She reopened her eyes to only find herself laying down on a grassy hill on top of an island. "I should have died back there." :(Helen stated as she looks up to the sky it was beautiful ever before) "This area is not same what I was in before?" :(Helen said to herself as she looked down towards her legs) *Helen was massively surprised that she is a Female Humanoid, not figuring it earlier that she sounds like female human. She was wearing a grey dress with black leggings and eagle-tipped ribbons, she wears black shoes with white sleeves. She was shocked that her dress and leggings were not soaking wet, Helen noticed that something was attached to her feet. What she could see is there four propellers four per feet along with what seems to be rudders at the end. Helen was left clueless without answers she noticed a shiny object next her which seems to be a mirror when she looked into it. She could see her face and hair in the mirror with her long salmon pink tied into long twin tails with red, white and blue bows as well her goldish eyes.* "Everything is so confusing right now, I only know that my name is Helen but my appearance, I?" :(Helen questioned as she was looking at her reflection) "Who left this bow in front of my feet." :(Helen stated as she observed the red and white bow with a quiver which she walked towards it and picked it up) "This weapon would be useful, I don''t know what lies ahead of me." :(Helen talked to herself about the white and red bow, but she was cautious at first) "I got so many questions that need to be answered fast." :(Helen said as she pointed the red and white bow at random direction and pulled back an arrow) *As Helen loosens her grip on the bow string, which sends the arrow forward, it glowed with tense energy. Helen watched the arrow, but when it hit the water, it blew up like TNT exploded but 10 times bigger.* "....." :(Helen was left speechless) "What in the god''s name?!" :(Helen shouted as she was trying to figure out what had actually happened) *As Helen quickly regains her composure sorted, she looked around the island she somehow landed upon on, Helen felt her stomach rumble which caused her to look around frantically for something editable. When Helen was about to give up, she noticed a tree with what looks like bananas, Helen desperate for food rushed towards the tree without second thought and climbed up it to reach its fruits and consumed 5 of them. It felt fresh and sweet at least, Helen no longer desperate climbed down the tree and started mapping out the entire Island until she heard a faint noise and a blue screen opened up right in front of her.* The narrative has been taken without permission. I am highly intelligent assistant of a long sunken vessel, but here we are. I am guessing you are Helen by any chance." :(The Blue Screen stated, but it sounded robotic and a male in origin) "My apologies buy yes you''re correct I am Helen, who are you perhaps?" :(Helen stated as she felt shivers down to her soul as the first time, she was speaking to someone) "How wonderful, I simply referred as Noah; I am complexed that you have two forms of a sunken vessel. The form that currently you are in is human form whi..." :(The Ai of the Blue Screen named Noah stated as he about explains before he was cut off my Helen) "WHAT DO YOU MEAN, I HAVE TWO FORMS OF A SUNKEN VESSEL!" :(Helen stated as she was quite angry what Noah the Ai of the Blue Screen was about to say) "Don''t raise your voice or interrupt me. What I am saying that you''re quite an anomaly, not a naturally occurring one, it seems your soul and appearance have merged with a sailor''s grave by a strong force that seems inseparable. This first time I had ever heard or known about, those propellers on your feet is a huge clue of your connection." :(The Ai of the Blue Screen retorted as he explained away what Helen is) "I don''t know what you mean, I have only seen four propellers with two squares just separating them." :(Helen said, as she was clearly confused) "Four propellers and two rudders interesting, you might be a personification anomaly of a much larger vessel. Anyway you have two forms, 1st one which you are in is engagement form you would notice it by a quiver and bow you might have picked up, and those propellers on your feet. 2nd one is human form which is basically the 1st one, but your bow and quiver would certainly disappear along with the propellers on your feet, it might be possible your vessel or ship would be accessible in this form. How change between these forms is directly link towards your thoughts." :(The Ai of the Blue Screen stated as he was explaining the way in every detail) "I almost forgot you are in critical condition; your ship or vessel is damaged in way that would be noticed by you. Six of your ship''s firerooms is compromised and need of repairs, two Engine Rooms are also compromised. If you want to repair it simply just rest, I do not know what or how to repair them." :(The Ai of the Blue Screen said as he finished his explanation but suddenly stopped) "What do you mean I am in critical condition?" :(Helen questioned as she felt more confused) "Well unlike you, the ship you seem to be has structural and water integrity which takes days or even months to complete repair, but that just scratching the surface. Your ship is in a dangerous condition; it seems you had been hit by what looks like torpedo, it''s not fatal, but it will compromise your fighting capability or the ability for the ship to sail properly. You are lucky that the damage isn''t so bad." :(The Ai of the Blue Screen explained further as it sounded serious) "Wait a second, I have a question, why did you refer to me as a ship or vessel?" :(Helen questioned as she felt weird that Noah referred to her as vessel or ship) "What would I refer, you are an anomaly to my eyes as we both in the same boat, clueless without any answers. But I guess it''s because you have propellers on your feet; this island you''re currently on is quite peculiar, I suggest you try to find a way off it and find out where you are." :(The Ai of the Blue Screen said as he finished his statement) "Well, thanks, I need to think of something." :(Helen stated as she was lost in thoughts) As Helen was lost in her thoughts she caught glimpse of a ghostly figure, when she waved at the figure only for it turned around and look back at her. What was mysterious that it had same eyes as well hair but straight when she was about to speak the ghostly figure spoke. "You and I are the same, clueless without answers, helpless in this world not our own, but I have been here several times. Don''t stand in my way." :(The Ghostly Figure spoke as it stared down Helen''s soul) "Wait, do you mean?" :(Helen questioned as she was confused what ghostly figure is saying) "Yes, you and I are the sunken vessel that is in a form of a humanoid. Until we meet again later as speechless and native you are." :(The Ghostly Figure responded right before the Ghostly Figure disappeared with in the mist) "...." :(Helen was speechless as she felt she was alone, but her thoughts were broken when Noah the Ai of Blue Screen appeared once more in front of her face)* "Did you hear anything?" :(Noah asked as he noticed Helen''s expression) "It''s nothing Noah, I just figured out something, but I need to investigate further." :(Helen said as she smiled faintly) to be continued.... Chapter.1 Act I (Early Milestones) "Where trade flows their guardians follow, there are others willing to take extreme risk to enrich themselves." :(???) "The sea is vast and deep, only the cunning and strongest survive these lawless waters." :(???) "Heh how they always say war never changes no manner the era, it once restored my faith in humanity as they seek glory and conqueror the seas that gave birth to them eons ago." :(???) Helen felt a really rough jolt that washed away the dream she was having when she reopened her eyes. She could see the sky again; she turned her head around to only figure out she was still on the island which she had fallen onto. "Helen, are you okay, you seem to collapse right after the mist had faded." :(Voice of Noah stated in the earpiece on Helen''s right ear) "Yes, I am fine, nothing too dangerous had happened, how long did I collapse for?" :(Helen replied with curiosity) "Well, you were in that state for 15 hours until the next dawn had arrived." :(Voice of Noah explained in the earpiece) "By the way, how do I summon my ship?" :(Helen asked as she had no clue what to do now) "Well, that something you need to figure out, who needs ship when you can glide across the water effortlessly." :(Voice of Noah responded to Helen''s question) "Well, it is pretty good and quite convenient, I just wonder where do I get these arrows." :(Helen responded as she checked the arrow count in her quiver) "Well, your arrows are directly linked to your aircraft, I suppose had not mentioned this there should be a dial on your bow which I think can select between type of arrows you use. I suggest you experiment it out." :(Voice of Noah stated in Helen''s right ear) "Thanks for the heads-up, Noah, I am going to test it out now." :(Helen said as she pulled one of her arrows from her quiver and loaded it on her bowstring) Helen looked at the dial on her bow, it reads projectile type she read through the dial trying to figure out what to use. She noticed it had three types of 5 inch round with the 1st being HC Mark-41 with PD, MT and VT fuze. 2nd being SP Common Mark 42 Mod 0-1, and finally Illuminate Mark 43-8. Other option she noticed on the dial was type of attack with 1st being aerial, 2nd submerged, 3rd surface and the last being land with options labelled as BB, TO and DC respectively. She had no clue what each attack mode does. "Sorry to interrupt you again, Noah, but what does each of the attack modes does?" :(Helen asked the AI named Noah over the earpiece) "Well, you or your ship can engage in four dimensions with 1st being air, 2nd is submerged, 3 above the water and 4th being land?" :(Voice of Noah stated in Helen''s right ear) "I see, thanks for the heads-up, I will try not to ask you too many questions." :(Helen thanked Noah over the earpiece) As Helen gave a big sigh only to be interrupted by a loud rumble in her stomach, seems like she was hungry. Helen looked around to see if there was food available, but there was nothing around except grass and trees with not fruit. After she realized there was no food available on the island she had to go back into the water. "I will be going into the water to get some food; I hope I don''t take too long." :(Helen stated to the AI named Noah over the earpiece) "Tell me how you going do that Helen, you realized by now you float on top the water not under it." :(Voice of Noah stated in Helen''s right ear) "Well, I have no clue how I am going to do this, but I think I need to dive under the water." :(Helen explained as she got off the grass and headed for the ocean) "Well, you are an idiot by that logic." :(Voice of Noah stated in Helen''s right ear) "Hey, that was uncalled for!" :(Helen replied with an angry tone as she tried to dive under water but only met by a strange force that keeping her above the water, she tried multiple attempts to dive under water but was not successful) "Hmm, what if I try something else." :(Helen said to herself as she stopped for a brief moment as she sat on a nearby rock) "So, what''s your next plan Helen?" :(Voice of Noah asked the female humanoid over the earpiece) "I think I going to try to summon my ship, I know its damaged but I need to see what type of ship I am." :(Helen explained as she closed her eyes) Helen thought about summoning her ship when she was about to give up she thought one last time, suddenly she felt a nasty electrical discharge which caused her to close her eyes to protect them from going blind. After the shock subsided, she opened her eyes only to see her ship sitting on the water right in front of her. She noticed it was least 967.8 feet long and it was very tall, but she also felt a painful punch to the gut which cause her to lose her footing and fell on the sand she was standing on. The massive ship loomed before her, its hull scraping against the shallow seafloor. She could feel every scratch and bump as if they were happening to her own body. [There has to be a way to control this thing properly. Maybe if I...] :(Helen''s thoughts trailed off) She closed her eyes again, this time focusing not on summoning the ship, but on connecting with it. A warm sensation spread through her body, starting from her chest and flowing outward to her fingertips. "Oh, interesting. You''re actually using your brain for once." :(Voice of Noah commented through the earpiece he was sounding genuinely impressed) "Can you maybe NOT while I''m concentrating?" :(Helen grumbled, maintaining her focus) Suddenly, Helen felt as if her consciousness had expanded. She could sense every inch of the massive vessel, from its bow to its stern. The damage to the hull sent sharp pains through her awareness, but she pushed through it. With a grinding sound that made Helen wince, the ship began to move. Slowly at first, then with increasing speed, it backed away from the shallow water. The relief was immediate as the hull cleared the seafloor, and Helen let out a breath she hadn''t realized she was holding. "Well, would you look at that. The student becomes slightly less incompetent." :(Voice of Noah chuckled through the earpiece) "I swear, Noah, one of these days..." :(Helen muttered as she opened her eyes to examine her handiwork) The ship now floated properly in deeper water, its massive form casting a long shadow across the waves. Helen could see various weapons systems, radar arrays. She noticed the it had the number 43 on its superstructure. "Hey, Noah?" :(Helen called out) "Yeah?" :(Voice of Noah responded over the earpiece) "Do you know what model I am? And how old I am?" :(Helen asked Noah over the earpiece) "Well, that is tricky question I have no clue what model or how old you are. It seems your ship had started to come together around 1944 and fully completed around 1946 which leads to me to concluded that your ship is 2 years old which is quite young, I am guessing you are also quite young. " :(Voice of Noah explained to Helen over the earpiece) "I see, so I am 2 years old, and my ship is 2 years old. But that does not explain why am I here." :(Helen replied with a sad tone) "That is something that will take time to figure out, but I am sure you will get answers one day, back to your stomach''s symphony since. Since you''ve managed to successfully connect with your ship, why don''t you try exploring it? You know, like a normal person would?" :(Voice of Noah suggested with his usual sarcastic ton" :(Voice of Noah reassured Helen over the earpiece) Helen looked up at the towering hull of her ship, noticing a ladder leading up the side, as she climbed further, she noticed the ship is quite tall that won''t stop her, Helen managed reach at the flight deck. She was amazed by how big her ship was, and she couldn''t wait to explore it, she looked around for a map which she finally got one just laying on ground. But she was horrified that the map was not actually a map it was book with series of documents 18 pages long to be precise. "Noah, why there is so many papers? There should be a map." :(Helen called Noah over the earpiece) "I do not see what you talking about. I am clueless as you, if you show me what you are looking at. Meet me in yours ships island inside the bridge." :(Voice of Noah explained to Helen over the earpiece) Helen headed into the ship which she was ill-prepared for as she encountered cramped rooms with no sign of direction to follow it took her couple of hours to even reach the bridge. By then she was fully starving, Helen walked up to console in side bridge when she pushed down on the buttons an Ai Hologram of male person appeared. "So, this is Helen, glad to see you with my own eyes without me having watch you through a screen. Now what we doing here?" :(Voice of Noah stated in the hologram) "Well, I have found some documents lying around on the flight deck and I need you to explain to me what they mean." :(Helen stated as she handed the book of documents to the Ai named Noah) "Processing... Processing... Processing..." :(Voice of Noah said out loud as he was reading through the documents) "So, what do you think about the documents?" :(Helen asked the AI named Noah) "Complicated as always Helen. Processing... Processing... Processing..." :(Voice of Noah replied while he was still processing the documents) "Hey, don''t ignore me!" :(Helen shouted as she slammed her fist on the console which caused it to spark) "Don''t act like an easily frustrated lady here, this console which houses me is delicate and will break under your tantrums." :(Voice of Noah scolded Helen as the Ai Hologram looked clearly at her) "I am sorry, but I can''t help myself when you are ignoring me!" :(Helen apologized to the AI named Noah) "I am not ignoring you; I am processing these documents." :(Voice of Noah replied while he was still processing the documents) "Processing had been completed. This ship seems to be a Midway Class Carrier just what I predicated earlier, with all these documents now in my data stacks I now know which compartment is. I am uploading the full completed map on the blue screen you might see before, it should help you get around this maze you call a ship. I was only able to see what in the engineering compartments before" :(Voice of Noah explained to Helen as the hologram pointed at the blue screen) As the Blue Screen reappeared in front of Helen she studied the blue screen, taking in the complex maze of corridors and compartments that made up her vessel. Her stomach growled again, more insistently this time. "Now that we have a proper map, where exactly would I find food on this ship?" :(Helen asked while rubbing her stomach) "The galley would be your best bet. Deck 2, frame 88. Though I should warn you... All perishable items seem to not be on this ship strangely enough but all the ordnances seem to be all in place and in good working order. I highly suggest that you transform into your engagement form." :(Voice of Noah explained as the hologram pointed at the location of the galley) "Thanks for the heads-up, but I am not sure how to change into my engagement form, I will try it out." :(Helen thanked Noah as she closed her eyes, focusing on changing forms) A blue screen appeared right in front Helen which readers, engagement mode on or off without hesitation she processed on button only for the blue screen to disappear. Helen felt a painful feeling as electricity rushed through her body, she felt heavier than normal, her eyes were closed to protect them from being blinded. Once the electricity stopped, she reopened her eyes and looked around only to see the island she landed on and the deep blue. "Sorry to inform you, but we got approaching ships on the radar, the seem to be fishing class radar signatures. I suggest you get in the water now!" :(Voice of Noah exclaimed through the earpiece) "Noah do you not understand I can''t dive under water in my engagement form!
