《Godly Programming from the Start》 Chapter 1: Where it all Started Intro Hi there! My name is Jeff. I have black hair and an average nose. My eyes and brows are sharp like an eagle''s. I am over 5.9 feet tall. If I had to rate myself on a scale of 1 to 10, I would give myself an 8. I am currently 16 years old and still in school. I am in Grade 11 from the section St-John. You see, the truth is, I don''t belong in this world. I''m from the other planet that is also named Earth. But here''s the kicker - I died from over fapping. Yeah, you read that right. But wait, there''s more! I''ve been reincarnated in a whole other multiverse, and let me tell you, it''s not quite the same as my old world. I mean, I searched high and low for my favorite anime, and it was nowhere to be found! Can you believe it? Needless to say, it left me feeling a little down in the dumps. I''m currently at episode 1002 of One Piece, and let me tell you, I''ve been staying up all night just to catch every single release. But now, I can''t do it anymore. I mean, I knew it was a bad idea to do it so many times before, but I never thought it would come to this. If only I had limited myself to just one fap a week, I might still be alive and enjoying. Sigh Tears rolled down his face as he think about it. Anyway, enough of my sob story. Let me introduce myself. I''m a student in Christina Academy Inc. In grade 11-St. John''s, in the classroom, I''m pretty decent when it comes to my studies. Sometimes, I''m even ranked first in exams, but other times I fall back to second or third place. But you wanna know my absolute favorite subject? It''s computer class, baby! Back in my past life, I always dreamed of becoming a programmer. Programming has been my dream ever since I was a little kid. I used to play games like League of Legends, Roblox, Minecraft, and Point Blank all the time. I became so addicted that I wanted to learn how to program so I could create my own games. Unfortunately, I didn''t have a laptop or computer at the time, and using my phone to program was just too darn difficult. So, I had to put my dream on hold and focus on my studies. Fast forward to now, I''ve been in this new world for a week now, and let me tell you, it''s been pretty uneventful. I haven''t received any special system or anything like the protagonists in the stories I''ve read, so I just go about my day like nothing ever happened. I mean, I''m just grateful to be alive, you know? But suddenly, I heard a ding sound in my ear... ... As the first light of dawn began to filter into the room, a teen slumbered soundly on his bed, completely unaware of the world around him. Suddenly, the shrill sound of an alarm pierced the air, shattering the stillness of the morning and rousing him from his peaceful slumber. With a groan, he reached out to his phone and tapped the stop button, cutting off the piercing noise. Drowsily, he made his way to the shower, his mind still hazy with the remnants of sleep. As the water cascaded over him, he began to come awake, his thoughts slowly drifting off. After finishing his shower, he turned his attention to breakfast, setting the rice cooker to work and open a can of sardines, which would serve as his meal for the day. With his hunger satiated, and his hair slicked back with a liberal dose of gel, the young man wore his school uniform and prepared to set out for another day of learning. His name was Jeff, and though he had died in his former world, he had somehow been transmigrated into his body in another multiverse, where he would continue to pursue his dreams and ambitions. If you spot this tale on Amazon, know that it has been stolen. Report the violation. Despite the apparent similarities in his new life, it slowly began to dawn on Jeff that things were not as they seemed. Though he had the same name, family, friends, and school, something fundamental had changed. His beloved anime, One Piece, was nowhere to be found, and his favorite music and Hanime like Boku no Pico, were conspicuously absent as well. It was a bitter pill to swallow, but Jeff slowly began to accept the harsh reality that he was truly dead. As he got dressed in his school uniform, Jeff took a moment to reflect on his current living situation. He was renting a room in a boarding house owned by his mother''s friend, a kind woman who had reduced the rent to a mere 500 pesos per month due to their close relationship. Though it was a far cry from the comfortable life he had enjoyed in his former world, Jeff was grateful for the opportunity to start anew and make the most of his second chance at life. As Jeff made his way out of the boarding house, he encountered his aunt Rose in the midst of her morning routine. With a warm smile, Jeff greeted her. "Good morning, Aunt." Rose turned her gaze towards Jeff and reciprocated the greeting. "Good morning to you too, Jeff. You better hurry along now or you''ll be late for school." The urgency in her voice was clear as she reminded him that it was already past 7 and time was of the essence. Without hesitation, Jeff bid his aunt farewell and set off on his journey to school. Upon reaching the school''s stadium, Jeff saw several students gathered around, chatting and playing games. After a quick scan of the area, he climbed up the stairs to the second floor. His classroom was the second room to the right of the staircase, making it easy for him to go their. As he entered the classroom, a sense of relief washed over him noticing that the teacher was not there yet. His classmates seemed to be indulged in their phones, seemingly uninterested in anything else. So he made my way to my seat at the 11-st classroom, passing by my fellow classmates who were either scrolling through social media or chatting with each other. Finally, he reached his seat next to he''s best friend, Mark Belgira. Mark had short black hair, an average nose, and slightly dark skin due to his family''s farming background. Despite this, he was always cheerful and approachable." Jeff, have you finished the assignment?" Mark asked me, while simultaneously playing his favorite game, Mobile Legends. "I haven''t started it yet... Wait, there''s an assignment?" he was caught off guard and looked at Mark, trying to recall if his teacher mentioned it before. Suddenly, he remembered, "Ahhh, now I remember," he exclaimed, feeling a sense of enlightenment. "My, my, Jeff, have you been wandering around aimlessly again?" my girl classmate teased with a laugh. Jeff was left speechless by her words, but he didn''t dwell on it too much, as it was sometimes his usual approach with his classmates who didn''t do their homework or didn''t study for an oral exam. "I did not wander outside; I''m a very dedicated person, in my studies." I spoke in a serious tone, showing no hint of lies. "Yeah, right," she replied sarcastically. I sat down on my seat, which was three seats away from the blackboard. I watched mark my friend play Mobile Legends, and the hero he was using was Tigreal, his main hero. My friend was playing Mobile Legends and was in his base with his team protecting it from the enemy Lord. They were on the verge of being defeated when a miraculous thing happened - he clicked on "conceal" and became invisible. He then moved the joystick towards his enemies and activated his ultimate skill. After that, he clicked on "flicker" but the unexpectable happened he didn''t catch any enemies. Jeff was amazed by his skills. However, shortly after he used his ultimate, he was hooked by Franco''s first skill and was stunned by its ultimate. The enemy team then attacked him and he died. "Wow, you really are the god of Tigreal," I exclaimed in an admiring tone. However, when I looked at his score, I saw that he had a disappointing record of 1/19/3. Looking at the scoreboard, it was evident that their team had a score of 8/46, with the enemy team clearly dominating. "Wow, best tank ever! You have an assist of 3," I continued with a hint of sarcasm in my voice, but with a delightful expression, as I patted his back. Mark rolled his eyes and grinned, knowing that Jeff was teasing him. "Shut up man, at least I''m not the one who forgot about the assignment," he retorted. "Hey, my friend, I suggest you play Candy Crush instead of Mobile Legends. You''re good at tapping," he added more salt to the injury. "Just shut up, Jeff," Mark retorted again, feeling irritated by his jokes. As the students chatted, more of their classmates began to trickle in, and soon the room was filled with the usual buzz of chatter and laughter. It was just another typical day at their small school. Just as the conversation was about to continue, the teacher finally arrived, and class began. The same subjects cycled through the day: English, Filipino, Science, Statistics, Basic Calculus, and Reading and Writing. Jeff couldn''t help but wonder why on earth is Basic Calculus even called "basic" when it''s so damn hard? Surely, whoever named it must''ve been hit by a donkey or something. This was the only the explanation that made sense. Eventually, the school day came to an end. As the final bell rang, students packed up their things and prepared to head home. Mark and Jeff slung their bags over their shoulders and made their way outside. Mark''s house was a little far off located up in the mountains so the two walked together until they reached the fork in the road. There, they exchanged a casual goodbye before parting ways. Mark''s friend turned and headed straight home, the sun already beginning to dip on the horizon. Rose wasn''t home, so he went straight to his room and flopped onto the bed, phone in hand. After taking off his uniform and hanging it neatly on the wall, he grabbed his tablet and started scrolling through TikTok. The hours passed quickly as one video led to another, and before he knew it, the time had reached 6:00 p.m. Just as he was about to get up to cook some rice, a ding echoed through the room. Chapter 2: System Arrives Just as Jeff was about to prepare and cook his rice, a sudden ding rang sharply in his ear. He froze. In the next moment, a glowing virtual panel appeared before him. [System has successfully bound to the host. Do you wish to accept?] [Yes] or [No] Two buttons hovered in front of him one to accept, the other to decline. "Of course, I''ll accept. What kind of idiot would say no to cheats?" Jeff muttered with a grin as he immediately tapped the [Yes] button. The panel flickered, and another message appeared. [Loading: 3... 4... 8... 14... 78... 99... 100%] Once the loading finished, the interface changed, and a calm, mechanical voice echoed in his mind. [Welcome, Host, to the Lucky Spin System.] [You can spin every day and receive a random reward] [A newbie gift pack has been given to the host. Please open it] Jeff stared at the glowing panel as a small gift box materialized in front of him, floating midair with a soft golden glow. Without hesitation, he reached out and tapped it. The box shook slightly, letting out a playful jingle, then burst open in a flash of light. [Congratulations to the host for acquiring: Godly Programming] "Godly... Programming?" Jeff blinked, his voice was haggard. A new panel popped up immediately, displaying the description of the reward. [Skill: Godly Programming Description: The host gains infinite knowledge in programming and digital systems. The internet is now considered your personal domain. Firewalls, encrypted data, digital currencies nothing is beyond your grasp.] ... Then, in an instant, a flood of infinite knowledge about computers surged into Jeff''s mind. It didn''t hurt instead, it felt smooth and oddly soothing, as though his brain was being massaged by pure logic. His eyes fluttered slightly as the data settled in, and when the absorption ended, he remained still for a moment, stunned he was stunned and frozen. Moments later, a wide grin slowly spread across his face, his eyes gleaming with excitement. "I can''t believe it¡ my favorite skill, given to me just like that. Talk about lady luck," he muttered, the joy and disbelief was clear in his voice. Overwhelmed with excitement, Jeff completely forgot about cooking some rice. Instead, he grabbed his tablet and opened his favorite programming app called Phyton. His fingers hovered above the screen, buzzing with anticipation. He thought of creating something simple: a basic calculator. But before he could even begin typing, his hands moved on their own, dancing across the screen with precision and speed. The Python code flowed effortlessly, like muscle memory he never knew he had. Jeff hands started writing the code. He defined the functions for basic arithmetic operations such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. Enjoying the story? Show your support by reading it on the official site. Then, he wrote the code to take user input and display the result on the screen. Next, he tested the code by running it on his tablet. He made some tweaks and fixed a few errors before the calculator finally worked perfectly. "Wow, this skill is seriously overpowered," Jeff exclaimed with joy. It had only taken him two minutes to program a basic calculator, and even he was amazed by how fast his hands had moved. His fingers were a blur across the screen faster than he''d ever thought it was possible. "If only I had a proper laptop or computer," he muttered. Then suddenly, an idea struck him. Without wasting time, he tapped the call icon and waited. After a few seconds, his mom''s face appeared on the tablet screen. She had soft blonde hair and a slightly chubby face that made her look cute. "Yes, what is it, darling? Why''d you call?" she asked with a warm smile. "Mom, I need your help," Jeff said, using his most loving tone. "I knew it," she said with a teasing sigh. "Every time you call, it''s because you need something. So, what is it this time?" She looked at him patiently, waiting for his answer. "Mom, it''s a little expensive," I asked with a shaky voice. "Just tell me what it is. I''ll do anything, as long as it''s affordable," his mother replied, her tone gentle but firm as she waited for him to speak. Jeff hesitated for a moment, then finally said what had been on his mind. "Can you buy me a computer¡ or a laptop, if it''s okay?" Her mother blinked a few times, "A computer? How much is it?" "I''m sorry for asking something so expensive, Mom," Jeff said quickly, a nervous edge in his voice. "It costs around twenty to thirty thousand pesos. I know it''s a lot, but I really need it¡ for my projects and research." He lowered his gaze, well aware that such an amount wasn''t easy to spare for their family. There was a brief pause on the other end of the line before his mother responded. "What kind of projects and research are you talking about?" she asked not with rejection, but with curiosity, clearly wanting to understand her son''s sudden urgency. "I have some reports I need to work on," Jeff said, trying to sound convincing. "And I want to do some research for my projects." It was a lie, of course. He wasn''t ready to reveal the existence of the godly hacking skill not yet. His mother raised an eyebrow, "But you''re still in high school, not in college." She let out a soft sigh, then added, "Still¡ I''ll try my best. When do you need it?" "When you have the money, Mom," Jeff replied gently. He knew very well that twenty thousand pesos wasn''t a small amount for their family. "Tomorrow''s Saturday, right?" she said after a short pause. "I''ll send you the money on Sunday." Jeff''s eyes widened slightly, surprised by her quick answer. Before he could say anything, her voice came through again it was tender and understanding. "I know that''s not your only reason for wanting a laptop¡ but if it makes you happy, I''ll buy it for you." A warmth bloomed in Jeff''s chest as he smiled softly at the screen. His mother always saw right through him but still chose to support him anyway. "Really, Mom? Thank you!" Jeff exclaimed, his voice bursting with excitement. "Don''t get too happy yet," his mother replied with a soft chuckle. "I have to go now. I''m still at work. You should eat your food, alright? Bye. Love you." And with that, the call ended. Jeff leapt onto his bed and started dancing like a robot, arms flailing in stiff, jerky movements. His lack of maturity was on full display, but who could blame him? Coding on a phone was frustrating, and the thought of finally getting a proper computer sent a wave of pure joy through his chest. [Mothers really are the best, aren''t they?] "Oops, I forgot to cook," Jeff suddenly remembered, quickly moving to cook the rice. He then bought some fried chicken outside, which he planned to have for his dinner later that night. After finishing his meal, he went to sleep for the night. When the sun rose up in the sky, Jeff woke up and realized it was the weekend. He decided that today he would go to a computer shop to work on making a game by bringing his USB with him. First, Jeff cooked his usual meal of rice and boiled an egg in the rice cooker. After the rice and egg were cooked, he removed the shell from the egg and ate his lunch. When Jeff finished eating, he took a quick shower and changed into his shorts and a white t-shirt. He then grabbed the USB from his drawer and put on a mask and hat before heading out. "Good morning, Aunt," Jeff greeted with a smile. "Good mor-. Why are you dressed like that?" Rose stopped her greeting and asked, looking a bit surprised before realizing the reason. "Oh, I see my little Jeff is all grown up now. Are you going on a date?" she teased. "No, it''s just really hot outside," Jeff explained. "Okay, okay," Rose chuckled. "You should go now before you''re late for your date," she added playfully, ushering Jeff out the door. Jeff seeing this sighed and left without explaining further, knowing that Rose wouldn''t believe him anyway. He then headed to a nearby computer shop where people go to print their projects or play games. Upon arrival, jeff went inside and sat down, turning on the PC. The computer shop was spacious with 23 computers and air conditioning, making it his favorite place. He approached the owner and requested an open time, to which the owner nodded in agreement. He then returned to his computer and began working on his game. Jeff decided first what kind of game he wants to make, then an idea came to his mind. He remembered that there is no Minecraft in this world. Chapter 3: Replicating Minecraft Jeff searched it on Google to avoid any plagiarism after confirmation and saw that Minecraft was actually not created yet. He was happy since minecraft is literally a game that dominated his previous world achieving massive achievement in gaming history. Notch created Minecraft in 2009 and was officially released in 2011. Even before the full release, Minecraft was already blowing up in popularity due to word-of-mouth, like YouTube videos, and its unique gameplay. It offered a sandbox survival experience where players could build anything literally an infinite LEGO world, and people loved it. He too was included. It won the award of best selling game of all time, As of now, Minecraft in his previous world had sold over 300 million copies, making it the #1 best-selling video game ever, beating out games like GTA V and Tetris. Not only that Minecraft basically built YouTube gaming culture. Creators like PewDiePie, Dream, and many others gained fame through Minecraft. It also birthed mods, mini-games, roleplays, animations, and entire servers like Hypixel. It won multiple Game of the Year awards and was inducted into the World Video Game Hall of Fame in 2020. Praising for its creativity, education value, and long-term appeal. But In 2014, Microsoft was bought by Mojang (the studio behind Minecraft), showing how much value it had. With his godly programming skill, he had full confidence in recreating the game. "Replicating Minecraft, is just going to be easy as eating a cake" he though inwardly. Jeff plugged the USB into the PC and opened Google. He downloaded Unity, one of the best game development softwares available, and saved the files onto his USB drive. After the download was complete, Jeff started working on replicating Minecraft. Jeff opened the application and his fingers danced across the keyboard as he began programming his version of Minecraft. For the first hour, he focused on replicating the game''s basic mechanics, such as the block-breaking and inventory systems. With each line of code he wrote, Jeff''s excitement grew. He couldn''t wait to see his creation come to life. Jeff was completely engrossed in his programming, typing away on his keyboard with lightning-fast speed. He was so focused that he didn''t even realize that a group of people had gathered behind him, watching in awe as they saw the line of coding kept moving up. As Jeff continued to work, the crowd grew larger, and some even began to record him on their phones. Jeff didn''t notice this because he was so engrossed in programming. Jeff was in the so called zone, and his godly programming skills were on full display. As the second hour approached, Jeff began working on the game''s aesthetics. He spent time designing the block textures and character skins, making sure they were faithful to the original game while still putting his own spin on them. For three hours straight, Jeff continued to work tirelessly, creating each element of the game with precision and accuracy. He carefully coded every block, every creature, and every item until the game was nearly complete. Jeff leaned back in his chair and admired his work. He had created only 70% of Minecraft from scratch, and it was all thanks to his godly programming skills. The version he wanted to create first was Version 1.0.0 which was released in November 2011. Because If he choosed the very first version(0.0.1a), its a bit lacking of the game that he was familiar of since the version he first played is 1.0.0. It was a browser-based game at that time, super simple just placing and breaking blocks, no survival mechanics yet. This story originates from a different website. Ensure the author gets the support they deserve by reading it there. Even though it was super basic, players loved the freedom to build whatever they wanted. It had. Only 32 blocks to use No health, hunger, or enemies Just pure creative building People got hooked fast because there was nothing else like it back then. Finally, as the clock struck noon, Jeff stopped typing and leaned back in his chair, feeling satisfied with his work. Only then did he notice the crowd of people behind him, was totally shock with his incredible programming skills. Jeff sprang up from his seat and hastily transferred all of his files onto his USB drive. He then wiped all evidence of his programming from the computer, leaving no trace for anyone to find. Feeling slightly overwhelmed, he slipped away from the bustling crowd and paid the computer shop owner a mere 67? for his time. He then bolted outside, running away from the cheers and adulation. Jeff was not the type to seek out the limelight. He was a bit shy and felt uneasy when receiving praise. As he ran down the street, he zigzagged through the crowds until he finally made it to the other side. His eyes fell upon Aunt Rose''s boarding house, a welcome sight at last. Jeff entered the house and spotted his aunt watching TV. He crept silently towards the stairs, hoping to avoid any unwanted attention. But Rose was quick to notice him. "So sweetie. How was your date?" she teased, with a sly smile playing on her lips. "It wasn''t a date," Jeff replied, with seriousness in his face. "Sure, sure," Rose chuckled. "You can bring her over here if you want. I won''t mind." Rose continued with her joke. "I don''t care anymore," Jeff said, feeling defeated by his aunt''s childish attitude. "I''ll go up now, aunt; see you later," Jeff said his last words before ascending in the stairs. Rose noticed that Jeff wasn''t in the mood for her joke and decided to turn her attention back to the TV. Jeff climbed up the stairs and reached for the door to his room, when suddenly the door opened beside him. Aunt Rose''s boarding house, had five rooms in which was exclusively for female boarders, Jeff occupied one, so there''s 4 rooms that are occupied by female. Aunt Rose preferred female tenants than male tenants because girls are clean and knows proper hygiene, but she made an exception for Jeff, who was her best friend''s child. Jeff had only been living in his aunt''s boarding house for three months. Some of the other tenants had been here for over two years, while others had been here for even longer. The location was ideal - not too hot or cold - and the signal was strong. But what really made it a great place to live was the landlord, Jeff''s Aunt Rose. Because everyone loved her warm and welcoming personality. As Jeff stood there, the door beside him was finally swung open, revealing a stunning figure. She had long black hair that cascaded down to her waist and her dark eyes sparkled like precious jewels. Her face was flawlessly beautiful, with no hint of any imperfections. She wore a white t-shirt and a mini skirt that complemented her figure perfectly, enhancing her allure. Her breasts were just the right size, adding to her overall beauty. Jeff acknowledged that she was the most beautiful person he had ever seen other than rose, but he was not one to be swayed by mere physical appearance. He valued personality and character over looks. Jeff nodded in greeting, and the girl returned the gesture as well. After that the girl past jeff descending in the stairs. Jeff opened the door to his room, getting inside and shutting the door behind him. Gazing at the USB in his hand. "Just a little more and I can finally finish Minecraft," he murmured to himself. Jeff''s replication of Minecraft was nearly perfect; he only had 30% left to complete before he could publish it on an open marketplace and start making money from it. Jeff removed his mask and hat, tossing them onto his bed with relief. "I''m glad I had those on. If those guys had seen my face, they would have remembered me making me famous," he thought to himself. Jeff remembered the people who had praised his programming skills. Gived him some chills, since he was a kind of semi-introvert. Half socializable and half not. In my town, in Sara, there were only a few people who knew how to program, and it was even rarer to find someone who could type as quickly as he could. That''s why the people who had witnessed his skills were so impressed and had admired him. Jeff went closer to his bed, and he directly slumped down, feeling the bounciness and squishiness of the bed. He closed his eyes to rest. After taking a nap to rest for a while, Jeff suddenly woke up and glanced at his phone, which displayed the time as 7:00 pm. Jeff stood up and walked to the kitchen to wash the rice cooker. Once he had cleaned it, he added rice and washed it with clean water to clean it before turning on the rice cooker to boil it. John decided to pass the time by watching some TikTok videos. Finally, the moment he had been waiting for arrived, and an electronic voice sounded in his ear. [Lucky Spin System] [A day has passed. One spin has been given to the host.] (Do you want to spin?) [Yes] or [No] Without hesitation, Jeff tapped the [Yes] button. The digital wheel appeared instantly, and the red pointer began to spin rapidly, ticking across various glowing icons and prize names. "Please be a skill¡ please, please, please," Jeff muttered under his breath, eyes wide with anticipation as he leaned closer to the screen. His heart pounded as he watched the pointer slow down, edging closer to what looked like a skill icon. The pointer stopped just short of the skill slot and clicked into place on something else entirely. "So close," he mumbled with a sigh. "I thought this was the Lucky Spin System¡ not the Almost Lucky one." he muttered. [Congratulations, you''ve won 1000?] The notification appeared in Jeff view. "That''s a little low," Jeff let out a sigh of disappointment. However, he tried to look on the bright side. The money he had won could still cover his allowance for two weeks, so he felt a little satisfied. Jeff allowance for 1 month is only 2000 to 3000 pesos, that was given by his mother. So he still appreciated what he had won. Once the rice was cooked, Jeff went out to buy some food. He left the house and purchased three pieces of fried chicken, which cost a total of 30?. After eating his food, Jeff went to bed for the night. He decided to finish replicating Minecraft the next day. Chapter 4: Buying a Laptop On Sunday morning, Jeff woke up feeling refreshed in his cozy bed. Today, his goal was to finally complete his Minecraft project and sell it online. First things first, he headed to the kitchen to prepare a delicious breakfast. Once he had satisfied his hunger, he took a refreshing shower and changed into fresh clothes. Stepping outside, he noticed it was still early, and he knew his aunt Rose wouldn''t be home yet, as she often ran errands to the grocery store in the mornings. Jeff donned a cap and jacket to conceal his identity, ensuring the USB drive containing the unfinished file remained safely tucked away in his pockets. He made his way towards the road and headed towards a different computer shop, located a bit farther from the one he had visited the day before. Following a few blocks and crossing intersections, he eventually reached his destination. The computer shop, known as "Himulat," caught Jeff''s attention despite being a little bit of distant in his place. The, one downside of "Himulat" was that it didn''t operate on an open-time basis. Instead, they sold tickets for one-hour sessions, priced at 10? each. As Jeff stepped inside, he noticed he was the first to arrive. Without hesitation, he approached the counter to purchase a ticket, he bough a 5-hour session and paying 50?. After obtaining his ticket, Jeff swiftly powered on the PC and inserted the USB drive. He navigated to the folder and initiated the installation process for the Unity application. With the installation complete, Jeff delved into his work, programming a loop for Minecraft. This loop ensured that trees would be visible as the player journeyed through the game''s he also programmed the interface, enhancing the basic mechanics. As Jeff''s fingers danced across the keyboard immersing himself in coding, fortunate that there were no onlookers to witness his progress. Half an hour later, Jeff''s efforts paid off, and he finally completed the very first version of Minecraft. Testing it and it works making him happy. As he saved it in Apk file, Jeff then proceeded to copy the file onto his USB drive, ensuring it was safely stored. He then deleted the file from the computer and carefully ejected the USB drive, placing it back into his pocket. Observing that he still had plenty of time remaining, he pondered how to occupy himself. Just then, his attention was drawn to a conversation between a girl and the owner of the shop. "Boss, could you please grant me just one hour? I left my wallet at home, which is quite far, but I promise to return and pay once I''m done," the girl pleaded. "Sorry, young lady, but that''s not how things work here. How can I trust that you''ll actually pay after you leave?" the owner of the computer shop responded, he was not a fool to believe that kind of words. "But, but I..." the girl stammered, attempting to find a way. However, her words were interrupted when a young person sporting a cap and a jacket approached her. "You can use my remaining time. I no longer need it," the youth offered generously. The girl turned her attention towards Jeff and noticed he was wearing a jacket and a mask, though her immediate focus was on securing a computer. Stolen story; please report. "Wow, sir, thank you so much! I''ll definitely repay you once I retrieve my money," the girl gratefully responded, overwhelmed by his kindness. Jeff shook his head, insisting, "No need to pay me. You can use it for free. I''ll leave now, goodbye." Without waiting for the girl''s response, Jeff bid her farewell as he exited the computer shop. The girl watched him depart, filled with gratitude. She swiftly made her way to the computer and connected her phone using a cable, proceeding to upload a file. As Jeff stepped outside, he strolled casually along the side of the road, taking in the pleasant morning surroundings. Rather than heading directly home, he decided to take a shortcut and savor the beauty of the morning a little longer. After a few minutes, Jeff reached his aunt''s boarding house. Upon entering, he noticed his aunt Rose was not yet present. He ascended the stairs and made his way to his room, intending to upload Minecraft on Itch.io. Just for added information, when compiling the game, he most likely used C# and Unity to replicate Minecraft. Jeff powered on his tablet and connected it to the USB drive using a connector. Logging on Itch.io he uploaded the file. The reason why Itch.io is the best choice is because it allows free publishing with no upfront payment required to upload games. Unlike Steam, which charges about 100 dollars, and Google Play, which costs around 25 dollars, Itch.io offers a more accessible option especially for someone who is saving money. Since 1 USD is roughly 50 pesos, 100 dollars would amount to about 5,000 pesos, which is a significant amount for him. He named the app Minecraft and added a short description. For the installation mode, he chose the "Pay What You Want" model so that everyone could play. Since he was just starting out, setting a price of 2 to 5 dollars would make it harder to find players willing to buy his app right away. Without a reputation and no money to advertise his work, he had to plan carefully. That''s why he chose the free model with an optional donation box, hoping to earn some support while building an audience After a brief period of waiting, the upload successfully finished, and Jeff couldn''t contain his excitement. He eagerly anticipated the game''s release and hoped for it to go viral among players. Just as Jeff completed the upload of Minecraft to the Play Store, his phone started to ring. Curious, he quickly picked it up and discovered a message from his bank informing him of a deposit 29,000? had been credited to his account. He already had a strong inkling of who the generous sender was it was his mother. Filled with gratitude, Jeff opened his messaging app and promptly expressed his heartfelt thanks to his mother. After expressing his gratitude to his mother, Jeff decided to buy a laptop to further pursue his ambitions. Once again, he left his aunt''s boarding house, noticing that she was still absent. Though curious about her whereabouts, he pushed the thought aside and directed his attention towards his primary goal, buying a laptop. Jeff headed to a nearby mall named Gaisano. Upon entering, he located the escalator and ascended to the second floor. He took some time to explore, surveying the surroundings, until he finally spotted the section dedicated to laptops. With eagerness, he approached the display and carefully examined the various models available for sale. As Jeff stood in the laptop section of the store, he marveled at the array of options before him. His eyes were immediately drawn to a sleek model with impressive specifications, priced just above 30,000?. The laptop showed a powerful processor, ample storage, and a vibrant display that caught his attention. Moving along, he encountered more option to choose. This one was slightly pricier, but its enhanced features made it worth considering. With a price tag above 40,000?, it offered an even faster processor, a larger storage capacity, and a dedicated graphics card, perfect for his gaming aspirations. Continuing his search, Jeff spotted a high-end laptop with a luxurious design. Priced above 50,000?, it flaunted a slim profile, a stunning 4K display, and exceptional performance capabilities. While it stretched his budget, he couldn''t help but imagine the experience it would provide. As he explored further, he discovered a versatile convertible laptop that caught his eye. With a price exceeding 60,000?, it showcased a touchscreen display and the ability to transform into a tablet, providing convenience and flexibility for both work and entertainment. Jeff carefully considered each option, weighing their features against his budget. He knew that he could not afford those yet so he continued to look what caught he''s eyes are different laptops like. Dell Inspiron 15 - Priced above 30,000?, this Dell laptop offers a reliable performance and a decent set of features suitable for everyday tasks and multimedia usage. HP Pavilion 14 - With a price tag above 40,000?, the HP Pavilion 14 provides a balance of power and portability, making it ideal for users seeking both productivity and entertainment. Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon - Known for its durability and professional-grade features, this Lenovo laptop exceeds 50,000?. It offers a lightweight design, robust performance, and security features suitable for business users. ASUS ZenBook Pro Duo - This high-end laptop, priced above 60,000?, shows a unique dual-screen design with a primary 4K display and a secondary touchscreen. It''s a powerful device tailored for content creators and multitaskers. After looking for a while he finally found what he''s looking for. Chapter 5: Helping Aunt Rose Jeff saw a laptop that can fit his budget and decided to buy this. LAPTOP-FUS2NUUH, that cost around ?28,500. It''s not the best but it''s more than enough for what he needed. It was powered by an AMD Ryzen 5 7520U processor running at 2.80 GHz, which was fast enough to handle programming, web development, and even some basic AI work. Its Radeon integrated graphics couldn''t run high-end games, but they were good enough for light gaming and using development tools like Unity. With 8 GB of RAM, multitasking was smooth, and it could run coding environments and small-scale AI models without much trouble, though 16 GB would have been better for more demanding tasks. The system was 64-bit, making it fully compatible with modern software, programming tools, and game engines. Jeff then went to the counter to pay for the laptop. The staff at the register welcomed him, and after completing the purchase, he couldn''t wait to see what more he could create now that he finally had a laptop. Carrying the bag with the laptop inside, he headed down the escalator to the first floor to buy some groceries. As he approached the entrance to the grocery section, something caught his eye. He spotted Rose speaking with a man and she looked visibly uncomfortable. Jeff didn''t think twice and quickly walked over to his aunt. "Aunt Rose, you''re actually here! I''ve been looking all over for you," he said, raising his voice slightly so she could hear him. Rose was momentarily surprised when someone called her "aunt," but as soon as she saw it was Jeff, she smiled then a brilliant idea came to mind. She gently pulled Jeff to her side and introduced him. "Brian, this is Jeff, my best friend''s child. Jeff, this is Brian," she said. Jeff and Brian exchanged polite nods. Jeff noticed that Brian was dressed in a business suit, giving off the appearance of a formal, professional man. From the way Brian looks like he can be considered a rich man from the way he dress. "Brian, sorry, but Jeff and I have to go now. He''s starving and hasn''t eaten yet," Rose said, quickly coming up with an excuse to leave. Brian looked at her and smiled. "Well, we can eat in there. It''s my treat, consider it a little something for the young guy," he added, glancing at Jeff. Jeff could tell that his Aunt Rose didn''t really want to stay with this man, so before she could respond, he stepped in. "Thank you, mister, but I don''t eat outside. It''s unhealthy," Jeff said politely but firmly. "Let''s go, Aunt Rose." He then took her delicate hand and walked away, leaving Brian standing there, stunned. This tale has been pilfered from Royal Road. If found on Amazon, kindly file a report. Brian was left speechless for a moment, "Unhealthy food... outside? Hmm. This kid is interesting. Well, it''s normal for someone to be protective of thier aunt," he muttered to himself, still processing what had just happened. Meanwhile, Jeff and Rose were already outside. Jeff continued to gently pull her along until they were a good distance away from the mall. Once they slowed down, Jeff looked up at her and asked, "Aunt, who was that? Is he one of your pursuers?" Rose let out a sigh and touched her forehead, clearly annoyed at the mention of Brian. "Yes, we were classmates a long time ago. He confessed to me back then, but I turned him down. Then today, we ran into each other this morning, and he offered to have coffee with me," she explained, recounting the events to Jeff. After finishing, she looked at him with a grateful smile, "Thank you. If it wasn''t for you, I don''t know what I would''ve done." She wrapped her arms around his in appreciation. Even though Jeff was only sixteen, he was tall about an inch taller than his Aunt Rose. "It''s all good, Aunt. If you''re ever in trouble, this nephew of yours will be there to help," Jeff said with a smile. Rose chuckled softly as they walked toward the pedestrian. Glancing at the time, she saw it was already around ten in the morning. "Have you had breakfast yet? Do you want to eat? And oh yeah I just noticed did you get a new bag?" she asked, eyeing the black bag slung over his shoulder. It was only now that she noticed it. Jeff, hearing her questions, pointed at the bag with his thumb. "Oh, this? It''s a laptop. I just bought it earlier for some projects," he explained casually. Rose''s eyes trembled for a moment as she looked at him deeply. "You do know that I have a laptop. You didn''t need to buy one and just from the look of it, it seems to be expensive." she spoke. Rose knew his situation well. Jeff''s mother rather her best friend was the only one working. Jeff''s father had fallen ill years ago, leaving her to raise both Jeff and his older sister alone as a single mother. Rose can deeply understand the hardship her best friend, who is also named Rose. But her full name is Rose Ann Rama. So she called her Ann, Jeff hearing her words felt warm in her heart. "Aunt, this-this. This is a special case." His eyes wandered aimlessly. Seeing his expression, Rose chose not to press further, "Well, I trust you. I''ve known you since you were little. Buying a laptop must be important to you, so don''t feel troubled I was only asking." "Thanks, Aunt," Jeff replied gratefully. He didn''t want to reveal his golden finger just yet. In fact, he planned to keep it a secret, buried deep within him, since it was closely tied to his future. Rose, watching him act so guarded, simply smiled, "So, have you eaten? It''s my treat," she offered kindly. The town of Sara wasn''t a grand place. At its center stood a modest-sized shopping center, the Gaisano, surrounded by a few local shops and restaurants scattered throughout the area. There was also a plaza, and just across from it stood Jeff''s school. This was why he usually walked when he went to school since it was close. "Actually, I already had my breakfast," he replied, feeling excited to start his day of programming. He needed to earn money quickly. Hearing his polite rejection, Rose pouted slightly, "If you say so..." her voice sounding a little down. But Jeff didn''t notice her tone. His mind was already occupied, thinking about what kind of project he should work on next. They walked together for a short while, and then he bid her farewell before heading up the stairs to begin his work. He took a quick shower again given how hot the weather was then changed into an undershirt and a pair of shorts. His build was well-toned from occasional exercise; he wasn''t lazy and made sure to stay active. Sitting on his bed, he took out the laptop, opened it, and powered it on. Soon, the familiar Windows interface appeared on the screen. Seeing the clean Windows desktop with no apps installed yet, Jeff knew he needed to set everything up from scratch. The problem was he had no internet connection. Thankfully, his phone still had some mobile data, so he turned on the hotspot. Just as he was about to connect, a thought struck him. "Wait... don''t I have a godly programming skill? Why do I still need to rely on my internet connection?" Jeff pursed his lips, realizing he had been thinking too normally. He was now a god in the digital world. Why think normally? Chapter 6: Hacking Skill With a few keystrokes, he opened the terminal and inserted his bootable USB. The ISO file (installer) was around 3 GB in size. To create a bootable USB, he used a tool called Rufus on Windows to turn the ISO into a bootable USB stick. His USB drive had a capacity of 16 GB, so it was more than enough. After preparing the drive, he booted Kali Linux by plugging the USB into the laptop, restarting the system, opening the boot menu, and selecting the USB drive as the boot source. The Kali then began to load without installing itself on the hard drive. The screen flickered as he rebooted the system, bypassing Windows. A dark interface appeared, loading Kali Linux, a system designed for cybersecurity and ethical hacking. Now, he could access all its built-in tools like airmon-ng, airodump-ng, and others without installing anything permanently on the laptop. He had downloaded the ISO back when he was creating his version of Minecraft at the computer shop, thinking it might be useful someday. He hadn¡¯t expected that day to come so soon. "Let''s test just how godly I really am," Jeff muttered as he cracked his fingers. The reason why he chooses Kali Linux is because it''s a free open-source OS used for penetration testing, ethical hacking, and cybersecurity. Then a black and green terminal greeted him as he started his work. {Note for readers: This is for fictional/educational purposes only.} ... Bash {Editsudo airmon-ng start wlan0 sudo airodump-ng wlan0mon} ... [Authors Note : Bash, or the Bourne-Again Shell, is a widely used command interpreter for the Linux operating system. It''s a powerful tool that acts as a command-line interface, allowing users to directly instruct the operating system through written commands. Bash is known for its efficiency in automating tasks, scripting, and job control.] Lines of code began streaming down the screen, listing nearby Wi-Fi networks. As one stood out immediately. ConvergeHome_F892 "Bingo." He then copied the BSSID and locked in on the frequency. He saw its BSSID (router MAC address) and channel (the radio frequency it''s using). ... Bash {Editsudo airodump-ng --bssid A4:21:8C:9D:3F:22 -c 6 -w jeffhack wlan0mon} ... The command uses --bssid to specify the target Wi-Fi router, -c to indicate the channel number obtained from the scan, and -w to write the output to a file named jeffhack.cap. A soft hum from the laptop¡¯s fan grew louder as the scan began targeting the nearby network. Still, he needed a handshake at the crucial moment when a device connects to the Wi-Fi, allowing him to capture authentication data. But instead of waiting, he had a better idea which is to force it. Love this story? Find the genuine version on the author''s preferred platform and support their work! "Sorry, neighbor." Jeff muttered coldly like it was war. It''s a neighbor, since his boarding house is close to the Wifi he wants to hack. He launched a deauthentication attack, sending silent disconnect signals to one of the devices on the network. ... bash {Editsudo aireplay-ng --deauth 10 -a A4:21:8C:9D:3F:22 wlan0mon} ... This line of code sends 10 fake disconnect signals to the router. Almost instantly, the device reconnected, and Kali captured the handshake like a hunter snaring the prey. "Finally Got You," Jeff mumbled, feeling in awe on how fast he did this. With the encrypted data in hand, he pulled out his personal script. It was something he wrote just a minute ago. It was a hybrid brute-forcer, designed to combine common Filipino passwords, number patterns, and typical Wi-Fi naming conventions. He was a total demon since creating a personal script like that would normally take days or even weeks for most people, but for him, it only took minutes. He then fed the handshake file into it. "Let''s see¡ converge2023, mywifi0917, fibernet1123¡" he then tried some. The guesses rolled by. Then suddenly... [ Password Found: 0917converge ] A flicker of satisfaction crossed Jeff''s face. He reloaded into Windows, typed in the password manually, and connected. [Connected. Secured. Internet Access] "No subscription. No load. No wonder being a programmer is the best path. You can literally access anything in the digital world," Jeff said, feeling amused. After that, he downloaded Visual Studio, Python, and Code::Blocks for C++. He was already an all-rounder, so he was very much ready to tackle any kind of project. Visual Studio for his web-based systems that would soon host his games, tools, and maybe even his own AI services. Python for scripts, automation, and AI-related work. Code::Blocks for when he wanted a lightweight, no-nonsense C++ IDE. He set everything up because, in his mind, the more tools the better. He had already planned everything ahead, the only thing left now was finding a way to earn some money. He had about 2,500 pesos remaining in his account, just enough to finally buy an extra pair of pants for his school uniform. He was currently a junior high school student and had been dealing with financial struggles for years. He owned only one pair of school pants and two uniforms, one white and the other pink. The pants had been worn repeatedly for over five months, and the color had already faded significantly. Now that he had the skills, the only obstacle left was money. So he can buy it and does not need to worry about losing money. He searched for freelancing opportunities on Google and was pleasantly surprised by how fast the internet wifi than using hotspot. Wasting no time, he created an account, as he choose a name for his freelancing profile. Razon After that, he used the filter on the website and selected the programming field, setting the payment range from 5 to 30 USD. A list of available jobs appeared before him. One task stood out as particularly simple, so he decided to accept it without hesitation. Work: Help Me Fix A Bug Payment: 15$ Contact me here: [email protected] ... He saw that the job had only been uploaded recently, so he contacted the client using his Gmail account. He briefly wondered why the poster had chosen to use email instead of a messaging app like Messenger or WhatsApp. But since he was just looking for work, he decided not to overthink it and focused on his goal. After typing his message carefully, he clicked send. Far away, in another part of the world, it was already nighttime. Inside a dimly lit room, a man was about to stand up to make some coffee when his laptop chimed with a new email notification. But he stopped as soon as he heard the notification. Opening his Gmail and seeing that there was a new message, he clicked on it and began to read. Razon: I''m up for the job. Can you give me the details? Seeing the message, the guy who looked to be around 18 years old, sat back down in his chair and began typing a response. Client: Do you have a portfolio? He asked knowing he couldn¡¯t just trust a random stranger without understanding who they were. After all, this was his project, and it needed to be submitted by tomorrow. Razon: I''m sorry, I don''t have a portfolio, but I know how to code. So why don''t you send me your code, and I¡¯ll fix it? If I can¡¯t, then you don¡¯t need to pay me. Seeing this, the client thought it made sense. After all, the project wasn¡¯t a large one or something that involved a lot of money, so he agreed. Client: Alright then. If you finish fixing the code, send me the result, and I¡¯ll pay you. Jeff, reading the message, felt a surge of excitement. He was confident in his abilities, especially with his skill, Godly Programming. Just then, another message came in from the client. Client: Here, I attached the zipped project file. The bug''s in the contact form it reloads the page instead of submitting the info. I included a screenshot of the error and a short README to run it. Let me know if anything''s unclear. Chapter 7: Earning Lots Of Money Jeff downloaded the Zip file, extracting its contents, and then opened the project folder. Inside were typical web development files. Like index.html, style.css, script.js, and a README.txt, along with a screenshot showing a browser console error. He then opened Visual Studio Code, navigated to the project directory, and began the setup. ... Bash npm install npm start ... The app loaded in the browser. It was a simple contact form with fields for Name, Email, and Message. The design was clean, but there were a few noticeable bugs. Jeff filled in a test message and clicked Submit. Click! The page refreshed after waiting for a while for the confirmation. No message was sent to the server. He opened the browser''s DevTools console, and sure enough, an error glared back. Making him glare as well. [Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read properties of undefined (reading ''value'')] Jeff squinted at the screen, his eyes narrowing on line 27 of script.js. The code was trying to access form elements before the DOM had fully loaded. He clicked over to the JavaScript file to confirm. Sure enough, the event listener had been declared outside the DOMContentLoaded block, which meant the script was trying to interact with elements that weren¡¯t available yet. ¡°Beginner¡¯s trap,¡± he muttered to himself. With his god-tier programming skill, he was literally not a beginner at this moment. This was an easy fix for someone like him, a god of programming. Without wasting time, he got to work. He wrapped the existing code inside a document.addEventListener(''DOMContentLoaded'', ...) block to ensure the script only ran after the entire page had finished loading. Next, he noticed another common mistake. The form was missing event.preventDefault(), which meant the browser was refreshing the page before any JavaScript could execute properly. "This is why your message isn''t submitting, my guy," he mused inwardly, already rewriting the function with calm look. He then added the following line. ... JavaScript form.addEventListener(''submit'', function(e) { e.preventDefault(); // ...rest of code }); ... (Authors Note: JavaScript is a scripting or programming language that enables you to create dynamically updating content, control multimedia, animate images, and much more on web pages. It is one of the core technologies of the web, alongside HTML and CSS) Lastly, the fetch() function was present, but it lacked proper headers and didn¡¯t include JSON.stringify(). This meant that even if the request reached the server, it would likely cause an error or be rejected entirely. So, he rewrote the submission logic properly. He added the necessary headers to specify the content type as JSON and wrapped the form data in JSON.stringify() to ensure it was correctly formatted before being sent to the server. With a few precise keystrokes, the broken logic was replaced with clean, functional code. ... JavaScript fetch(''/contact'', { method: ''POST'', headers: {...rest of code ... "There was no validation, no error handling. this guy must be new in programming," Jeff thought as he saved the file. He tested the form again filled it out, clicked submit. This time, no page reload. The alert popped up. "Message sent!" He checked the terminal log and saw the data appeared perfectly formatted, just as expected. Since he had some time to spare, he decided to go the extra mile. He refactored the code, fixed the inconsistencies, and made sure every line was clean, readable, and precise. By the time he was done, the code looked so polished that even senior developers would be shocked by its clarity and structure. After all, readability is king. Code isn''t written just for machines, it''s written for other humans too. If a senior developer opens your file and can instantly understand the flow, logic, and purpose, it leaves a lasting impression. In the developer world, writing clean, readable, and well-structured code is a huge deal. In fact, it''s often more impressive than writing overly complicated, clever code that no one else can understand. Unauthorized usage: this narrative is on Amazon without the author''s consent. Report any sightings. But Jeff does not know this, the reason why he does this is because he felt itchy if he does not fix it. Razon: Hey, I fixed all the issues. I wrapped your script in a DOMContentLoaded event, added preventDefault(), and rewrote your fetch call with proper headers and JSON formatting. I also added comments to explain the changes so you can learn from them. Let me know if you want help upgrading the design or adding form validation! Jeff then leaned back as he lie down on the bed, it only took him like 5 minutes. The lines of codes are more than a hundred but he did it in a minute. He had already exceeded the ability of artificial intelligence back in his own world. The client, after finishing boiling some water and making a cup of coffee, returned to his desk. When he sat down, he noticed an unread message that had arrived about five minutes earlier. Placing the cup on the table, he opened it. What he saw left him stunned. As he scrolled up and reread the conversation, he realized that only five minutes had passed since he assigned the task, and it was already complete. "Is this guy mentraly retarded! if you are trying to scam me, then you failed. He should at least make it more believable," he muttered wondering if this guy had some loose screws.. But still to check it since their was already a zip file attached in their. He downloaded it and run it on his own pc. Seeing the program made him froze and stunned, it looks so different from his. Like everything was not the same anymore. Feeling doubtful, he ran the code to check it himself. At first glance, the appearance of the form was still the same, but when he typed a message and clicked send, it worked perfectly. "Ey, it actually works. He even added comments to help me understand," he said in surprise. As he continued to read the codes, he was even more surprised why everything is so arranged. "Damn, is this guy a master? Then I¡¯m in luck. Failing the first semester is not going to happen after all," he added, feeling ecstatic. Client: Thanks I just checked it and its really good, where should I send the payment? Seeing everything worked perfectly, Jeff quickly sent over his PayPal account. The client who was now convinced, responded by sending the payment. Moments later, a notification popped up on Jeff''s screen. He then checked it immediately. [You''ve received $15.00 USD from [email protected].] Razon: Pleasure doing business with you. Client: Me as well. With that Jeff then started to look for more work in the website. After scrolling he found another one. Work: Create a Basic Login System (Front + Back) Payment: $20 Tools: HTML/CSS + Python Flask or PHP Task: "Make a login/signup page with a working password system." He then messaged another client, hoping to get more work. However, this client asked for a portfolio. Jeff tried the same approach as before, offering to work first and get paid only if successful, but it didn¡¯t work this time. It was only when he showed the finished work from his first client that the new client finally agreed to give him a chance. Client: Hey! I need a basic login/signup page for my app. It doesn''t need to be fancy, just functional username and password system, that''s it. Can you finish it in a few hours? Razon: Of course. For the client, a few hours was more than enough. For him? He could finish something like this in just minutes, so he got straight to work. He opened Visual Studio Code, created a folder named simple_auth, and began building the project. This folder would contain all the necessary files, including the webpages for the user interface, the styling to make it look clean, and the backend logic written in Python. Then, he opened his terminal and started running the initial setup commands. ... Bash pip install flask ... Flask is a Python web framework. One for the login page and one for the signup page. ... Html
