《Void Space》
DARKNESS
It was totally dark. I was unable to see any thing. It is like I am in a black void. And what is that light pop up it is like a sphere in this void . Shit am I dead? I remember I was stab by a sword from back. Wait! is that sword stabbed through my heart. That damn levin. Whatever it means it is afterlife I think?.... . Now what is this ceiling? Damn am I reborn with my past memories?
Woman said "It''s a boy." Man replied to woman "yeah" with a grin on his face. Woman had blackhair. With black eyebrows and the amber coloured eyes. She is a beautiful woman. Another woman "sir can I go now?". Man "yes, you can." That man I suppose he is my father whatever but he has a well develop body like a swordsman I really appreciate it. Let see he has blue eyes and auburn hair no doubt why mother married my father.
Huh? Now why I am closing my eyes shit why am I feeling sleepy it becoming hard to open my eyes. What a minute I think small children start crying when they born I forget to do that they are going to think I am abnormal child da--.
Hm? are they were watching me since I fall asleep. Mother wishes "Good morning! my dear cape." I replied "bwaah." I know that I can''t talk but I can understand this world language easily. Mother said "Dear! he spoke." She was surprised. Then I saw father sitting beside me. Father said "say papa! papa!." I thought what the.... . Mother replied "He is just born you know" father laughed and said " yeah I know it was just a joke you know."
I think I born as a commoner by looking room but is looking good despite made up of the wood. huh? huh? what the it''s embarrassing I just did it. i think I should cry now "bwwaaa! bwwaaa!.... ." Mother said "Did he crying I think it''s time to change calpe."

After changing I again feel sleepy now.
Why am I again in this void dark room. what what with this light again? Shit did I died again but how whatever. Voice came it was soft like a women is speaking "So your name is capell ? Pretty name you got there you know." I interrupt and shouted "Who are you? where am I? what is this place? did I died again or what? give me the answer." Again voice came "oh! that many question. Okay I will tell you all know. First I am a god, deity or whatever you say us. I make you reborn in new world which is different from your it is a world where magic and aura exist unlike your previous world where was fighting spirit and ki for marshal art and to use sword."
Suddenly dark void start glowing with white light "As for your nextquestion you are alive you only died on your previous planet. So, don''t concern about your body. It is your internal consciousness." I replied "Why you make me reborn is there anything you want from me?" Then voice came "Yes child in this realm some gods has been trying to control this world. Even they are here already in faraway continent. I want your help."
I replied "But how a mere human able to fight gods?" Voice came "About that I and five other gods tried to stop them but we lost and only I barely survived but it look like I can''t survive for long. So, listen I am giving you my power now you can''t use it until you become worthy. When time come you will know more. There is also I left something for you. Be patient and become more powerful then previous life nova."
I replied "Thank you! for giving me new life I will protect my loved ones this time. I won''t make same mistake to regret more. I can''t promise but I will try my best to protect this world from others. I can ensure this to you at least."
Voice came "Thank you child."
Then the void disappear.
REMINDER
In the blink of the eye the void disappeared and now I am standing in front of a concrete house which was of two floor and there was more rural building made of concrete. When I looked myself I was dressed in a suit which I wore just before I died in previous home planet. when I looked back there was endless field of wheat shining like gold. I was unable to see its end. The sun was up in the sky. I can feel the winds. It was quite there''s not even a single person I can see.
Suddenly I recognize the house which was there in front of me. I can''t believe but it was in front of me. Yeah that.... that was my previous planet house. I was born here in this very village. Now in the another blink I was inside my former house were I was lived for three years. But who is that small child why his hair colour is brown and had black eyes like me and there is also a woman who has brown hair and blonde eyes is that my mother then that man with black hair and black eye with broad shoulder and beard on his chin should be my father but why they are celebrating sitting on the chair and there is cake too.
I moved and said "mother, father!" but they didn''t listen anything. It means I am in my past memories. But how? suddenly the door opens there was a person in the black cloak coming near to the dinning table and when my father stands and said something he stabbed him with a dagger then my mother taken me and start running to go outside the house but he stabbed my mother and she fall on the ground with me she was died. Then the man speak by pressing his device which was small attached to his ears "mission complete." He was gone. in a blink of seconds.
I remember it correctly this incident I know that I killed him and the one who was given the order and his family. Then I didn''t ever recall this memories it hurts. why this memories all of them why this. The tears start coming from my eyes it won''t stop for some minutes And I cried. Then I make myself comfortable by saying myself "Its okay I had taken my revenge Its okay." I still remember this all but why and how I can see my past? Is this is one of the power given to me by that god? Is she making me recall my memories so I can become strong? or this is one of the effect of the power which I received from that god?
Now there was crowd in my house. One of them found me alive below my mothers and taken me in his hand. He was silently watching me. Another man with black hair and black eyes he was my uncle he said to the man who was taken me in his hand "Let take him in orphanage." Man said "Okay"
Now again the seen was changed.
My previous body was turned big I remember now it was when I was nine years old. If I was correct then this orphanage is going to shut down because government was stopped the fund. Suddenly I was in the orphanage manager''s room she was talking to one of the government officer wearing police suit he arrested her.
Now I was in a room were I and many children was there. A man with white hair and blue eyes with devilish smile one his face he was looking to us. He was a noble cruel one who punish his slave even if they didn''t do a single mistake. He even kill his slaves for fun.
He murmured "They will be good slaves."
I can''t do anything to change this I can just watch this from side line. Yeah it makes me angry. Then a woman with handcuff on her hand. She has pink hair and the pink eyes coming in from the door with police behind her. She was the manager of this orphanage which I saw in previous scene. Her name was Sina. She shouted "Don''t even think about making these children slave you filthy noble." The noble looked behind smirk and replied with softly "Don''t worry I will take only two of them and throw the others"
She shouted back in irked "Not a single one and they are going to transfer in another orphanage. Don''t even touch them."
The noble smirk again and softly replied "I had taken the permission from above. So, don''t worry they are not going to transfer anywhere and I will also take two of them as my slave." Sine irritatedly said "You filthy devil let go of the children I know you have problem with me. Don''t involve them. you pervert." The noble lose his cool and started beating her with his hand. Then after few minutes the policeman said "Sir! please stop we need her alive the judges has said for the execution but we are not allowed to execute her here."
The noble stopped and said "As you say."
Noble went to the children side with grin one his face. He said to the children softly "I will only take two of you. Because of your manger you all have to take her sins." He stopped and then he call two children and take them away from us. Then he ordered the rest of the polices "Throw the rest of the children outside this orphanage and burn this whole building." After taking the manager, the noble with two children started going outside of the room.
A police officer came and ordered rest of the children to go outside the building also. When they all went outside the building I also followed them with my previous self. Then police officer start burning the building. The crowd start forming outside the orphanage building to see what is going on like a television show shooting is happening here.
The people was start murmuring and making their own theory why this all is happening as the children start to move away from the crowd they was walking while crying but crowd ignored them. But my past self has just a sad face but didn''t cry. I remember that I was just sad because of the arresting the Sina.
And I also remembered that noble will be executed after 7 years in the front of the royal capital. And I was also present there in the crowed I remember it. That filthy noble face at that time.
By the way our orphanage''s manager was too good for us, she always play with us and also show us her some fighting spirit''s techniques. She was a decent martial artist.
Now the scene change again. I was standing beside my previous self on the stands of a arena. I focused on my brain to remember this event. Then I realised that after thrown from orphanage I started to doing work in the shop the shop''s owner was kind enough to give me the space to live and food to eat in his house and little amount of money as wage.
Unauthorized usage: this narrative is on Amazon without the author''s consent. Report any sightings.
And right now my previous self is fourteen year old and the match is going to begin in the arena to choose the ninth king of the kingdom and the one who loose this fight will become his personal knight till the king will be alive and after king death new tournament form by the council to choose new king for the kingdom.
Commentator commented "Dear ladies and gentleman! Who comes to see our new king and knight. The match is going to start now. Don''t worry about anything the invisible shield at the edge of the stands will protect you all. Just sit and enjoy. Now final round candidates ''caster'' and ''shimon'' come on the arena." After few moment when caster and shimon comes at arena. Caster was holding single long sword and shimon was holding a spear.
Referee shouted "begin"
Shimon charge forward aggressively to caster. Caster clashed with his sword with shimon without hesitating by only that large amount of the wave formed. It was like they clashed with their full power all they had. After that some more clashes happen between their long sword and spear for few minutes.
I know they were using ki for every clashes and also to boosting their speed. I moved forward far from the my previous self then I jumped form stand to arena. As I was watching my past I was not exited there so no commotion happens. Now at their clash shimon used ki and fighting spirit both to increase his speed and he make the lot''s of cuts on the caster body but caster was able to stop bleeding with his fighting spirt.
Now they moved taken each step backward from their opponent. It was like they are thinking same thing the shimon was surprised by seeing caster was had a small smirk on this face after all dozens of slash. Caster used his special technique with his sword. His sword was start glowing after pouring fighting spirit in his sword. and shimon did the same with his. Then his spear start glowing and he also uses his special technique. the multiple clashes start happening again with each clash produce enormous amount of energy wave hitting the shield. Within few minutes. The first shield out of the three was broke. I was unable to see what was happening because of lot of sand was erupting from ground.
And when the dust settled both was still stand but there weapons were broken into several pieces. They both looked like they had came after taking bath in river of blood. There were several cuts on their body. For a minutes they didn''t moved from there. But after a minutes later shimon fell on the ground.
The result was there. Commentator announced the new king is caster. Arena was filled with the shouting and chanting name of the caster like a volcano had been erupted.
I came again near my previous self again where I was standing before. I remember after seeing this I was surprised then my dream also became to become the strongest in the whole continent. But for that I needed to go in academy. And the problem was the fee which I cannot afford which was too much for me.
Suddenly the scene changed again like the ice is melting and after few moments.
I was standing again beside my previous self walking along him in street of volhara yep it is the main street of our city volha because of it''s market. I remember that I came here for buying the shop''s materials. But why I am seeing this day''s past? I even don''t know the date of this day is there any special event is going to happen in this street. Hmm? let''s just follow my previous self for now It not like that I can go to far from my previous self.
After following for some movement.
huh? what is going on at that corner of alley? I remember now what happened at this. This was the day when I get a step closer to my revenge. After this day I decided to become more stronger than anyone in this whole continent to get my revenge and shows those filthy devilish nobles that a commoner kid can also become king or knight in this continent.
My previous self ran toward the group of muscleheads those where bulling a noble child who was looking like 14 yrs old not to gain anything but just to save a person.
As my previous self clash clashed to one of the men and my previous self punched nothing happens the man didn''t even flinched a little all the men who was bulling the noble turned their gaze toward my previous self. As they turned to see my previous self hopefully that child know how to use ki perfectly.
He tighten his grip and punched with ki to one of the man with the single punch the man was unconscious. Then he lifted right leg and did side kick to another one with using ki but the energy of fighting spirit was also coming from it a little faint. Of course it will be because fighting spirit was not child play it was a lot tougher than using ki.
By seeing the kid using both ki and fighting spirit. The other men ran with two who was became faint after a single punch and kick each respectively. Yeah, of course at that time I was unable to sense ki and fighting spirit both. My previous self asked "How do you do that?" then the noble child explains "I just use ki which everyone use in fighting. And thankyou for saving me."
After a paused he asked "Can you come me at my house?" I replied "Yeah, okay but I have to inform the shop''s owner first where I work."
He said "okay! let go together then."
We start walking together the shop. In the way he asked "What''s your name?" I answered "it''s Nova Veincer" and asked "what''s your?" The noble boy replied "It''s your rohald sa jeniyold my majesty." Just like that joking and laughing we arrived at the shop."
Rohald was waiting outside the shop as I. After a while my previous self came out with taking permission. Rohald asked "Which shop is this?" My previous self replied "it''s medical shop."
After a moment later we arrived at the mansion.
There were so many guards starring at my previous self when we go inside the manor. It was to huge inside there was long table and several chair in between and the sofa at one side. Inside was glowing with several artifacts and devices. Rohald asked permission for a meeting with family head.
We sat on the sofa. After Few minutes a person came he was little old but well dressed and mannered. It was family''s head butler and also chief butler of house. He said us to go to the family''s head. when we arrived at the door of the family''s head Rohald said to my previous self "please wait outside for a while." Then after butler and Rohald went in the room.
After few minutes the butler came and ask my previous self to come inside. As I went inside there was a table in front of me and family head who was quit handsome just like rohald. He has purple hair and black eyes just like rohald. He was sitting on the chair behind the table.
I introduced "Myself Nova Veincer, My lord." the family head said "Thank you for saving my son back at alley. I hear every thing from my son and he asked me make you the guard of him at academy. So, I want you to ask do want to take admission at the East Royal Academy we will pay for the tution fee and all and also give you the wage monthly. You just have to guard my son in Academy. Do you accept it?"
My previous self was surprised. After a moment my previous self said " Yes, my lord I will do it."
After some more talk we came out the room. The family head said to my previous self to shift here at manor for the preparation of the entrance exam. After coming outside the manor my previous self asked rohald did you asked all of this from your family head? He said "yes I asked as my gratitude and aren''t we friends?" My previous self replied " yes, we are."
Scene changed again and now.....
RETURN FROM DARK HELL
The scene changed again but this time I was returned into the dark void again this time but that light was nowhere found this time. Where has that light gone? Is that true that god dies? What was her power anyway which power did she give me? There''s so much question to ask. Does every god only give partial information or what and what with the memories I saw?
Then blood started dropping from my both cheeks there was a cut but how? Then after a moment, it healed. I thought about how it was happening and why blood started coming after the cut and it hurt too I was in my unconscious mind It means here also we can feel and have a body. This is something new whatever. How can go outside this and then into the real world?
After roaming here and there I didn''t find anything, everywhere was dark, only darkness.
After a moment a cut was made on my both limbs then legs. The body didn''t get time to recover. Dozens of cuts appeared on my body from everywhere the blood was coming. My body was not getting enough time to recover every second dozen cuts were appearing on my body it hurt like hell. But I didn''t know what was happening.
After enduring for a few moments it was gone there were no cuts on my body no pain.
But didn''t we say before the tsunami sea became silent? I didn''t know what had happened but my arm was found meters away. I was able to see them both but it happened in the blink. From both sides, blood was flowing like a river flowing from the peak of the mountain. It hurts I was screaming with all the energy I had but I was helpless. No one would help me there was darkness only darkness.
After a few moments my both leg was separated from my body with my arm then I fell when I was falling there was no end not even a ground there was no end.
Within a blink everything was normal I had my arm and leg intact with my body and was standing on what I don''t know because I was unable to see anything there was darkness and nothing only endless darkness.
Suddenly my whole body started burning.
Like I was standing on fire but still the same answer nothing was happening I was just screaming with endless burns.
Nothing worse now could happen even if I visited hell because this was like hell it''s like I am in hell. Paying my all the sins.
Stolen from its rightful place, this narrative is not meant to be on Amazon; report any sightings.
In that burning my brain started hurting like it would explode. Then my limbs started hurting they were also exploding. It was endless pain.
I was just screaming in that void.
It''s hurt like hell for hours. I can feel every second passing was like a day for me but it didn''t stop I could hear my screaming that was returning to me but a hundred times more sound. My both ears started feeling like they would burst.
Hours was fleeing with this. I don''t know what to do. I think several years passed with this pain. Now I can endure it not easily but hardily and also stop making screams. Suddenly my eyes closed.
When I opened my both eyes I again found myself in small newborn baby and the ceiling was made of wood and I could see my mother and father''s faces full of tears I don''t know why they were crying I guess by seeing their worried faces there was also same lady standing there when I born in this world.
Then I felt like water all over my face or I could say it was tears but why, who knows? Suddenly Mother took me in her arms and hugged me and said "Please don''t make your mother and father worried again this much." Seriously what happened here I lived in pain for years there but not even a day changed here.
I think the time was running differently there.
This hug feels so good after that much pain. It''s like I came into heaven from hell. Now, come to think about I only came two days before in this country and many things have happened to me since then. I saw some parts of my past somewhere sad and somewhere good d and endured pain for a year well I don''t know how much time I spent but it was years, talked with god, received power from a god also others but her powers, then there also something on this planet for me what could be that?
Father said "Honey! what will be his name." What isn''t my name is a cape? Mother said, "Hmm! We will call him a cape and for others, you decide." Father after walking left and right in the room while putting his hand on his head said "What about Rayon then isn''t it good" Mother exclaimed in surprise "What! It''s a good one. I think your name choice is worse them me." Father said in a soft voice "Oh! And what else do you think about me."
Then they started laughing and they talked for about an hour. I had someone who worried about me after Rohald''s death No one laughed with me or joked. I became the killer machine knight, stronger than his king, not just in one kingdom but as the most powerful human alive on that planet. I was named NOVA - THE DEATH REAPER.
They say, ''I am not human but a hell devil who was mistakenly born into this world.'' And why not? Even the most powerful knight army of about a thousand from another kingdom was annihilated by me within a day; not a single soul survived the fight.
If it weren''t for the kingdom''s reputation, I would destroy the only remaining kingdom other than my kingdom. But I was backstabbed by one of my most trusted companions the night before execution which was one day after but why?
[ TWO YEARS LATER ]
I opened my eyes and then stepped on the ground. I learned how to walk after only 9 months and speaking after 11 months. Today I was going to the storage room to search for some books for knowledge of this planet.
COGNITION OF NEW PLANET
[ TWO YEARS LATER ]
I opened my eyes and stepped on the ground. I learned how to crawl after only 9 months and barely speak after 11 months. Today I was going to the storage room to search for some books for knowledge of this planet.
Hmm... Let''s see what mother is doing.
She is in the kitchen means after that she will go to do laundry, and then give water to the plant it means I have 3 hours to find the book and to read it. Let''s go then. Father told me that there are some books in a store room on the shelf of stories when I asked yesterday.
So, this is the store room. When I opened the door I saw there were some books on the shelf on my right side but it was high. So, I started to find anything that could help me reach that height at least a box to stand on.
After some time I found a box which was I at least expecting but it was heavy enough to not even flinch by my current strength. So, I decided to check what was there inside so that it didn''t even flinch. When I opened it I was totally surprised after seeing it. I was only expecting to find at least a single book among those books on the shelf which would help me gain any knowledge of this planet.
But this was a treasure for me There are about 12 books on different one of the books. ''the On Cover: Gemesia.'' Which was the name of the continent where I am right now.
When I turned open the book then there was some introduction to the planet. When I turned the next page There was written.
''Gemesia is a continent consisting of humans, elves, dwarfs,s and beast man.'' But at the end of the page there was written in a note ''There is a land in the east where the beast is found with some supreme creature they are.''
I was frozen for a minute or so it was written ''Dragons, Phoenix, basilisks, Titans, Chimera, Griffin, Wyvern and Hydra''
Even if I have the previous body strength and all. I don''t know if I could kill them or not because they were mythical creatures in my previous life. Seriously what''s wrong with this planet?
After I turned the pages there were pictures of the creatures and all the supreme creature and their knowledge in that book. It was fun reading it though.
First, there was about humans and about the magic we use which are Fire, earth, wind, and water. Some integrators can use more types of elements like lighting, ice, gravity, healing, and more. Many humans can only use max one to two elements there were only some people among human mages who could control three elements. The human mana core was formed after the age of 7 years old.
A case of content theft: this narrative is not rightfully on Amazon; if you spot it, report the violation.
Then there was aura which was controlled using any weapons that made the attack more effective. It can also cut the magical attack but it depends on the aura user how good and strong his aura is and the mage how powerful the attack is.
In the note, it was written all humans can use the aura but only ten percent of humans on the continent can use mana.
Then there was about elves. Every elf can use every basic element and also aura. Their cores were formed after the age of 4 years old.
After reading some pages about elves. About dwarf information was given. Their specialty was in artifacts and weapons. They can use fire and earth basic elements and they can use aura. Their mana cores were formed after 6 years old and then the man had two ears that came out of their head than a tail depending upon the species the remaining body parts and organ parts were like humans and were able to use all magic and aura just like humans and their mana core was formed after the age of 5 years old but they were more sensitive than humans.
There was some information about the supreme creature. After reading about the first two I directly opened the last page and there was the map of the continent Gemesia. In the east about one-fifth of the land was waste land where the most beasts and all supreme creatures lived. Then there was the human kingdom known as Emea on the north sharing the border with a small beast man kingdom known as Kitias which was in the center and shared a border with Emea, wasteland, and Eurisa the elves kingdom on the south shared a border with Emea, Kitias, wasteland and dwarf kingdom in west known as Kanash which was only sharing borders with Emea and Eurisa.
Suddenly someone grabbed me from back and lifted me when I turned back I saw Mother who was lifting me. When she came here I didn''t notice probably because I was enjoying reading the book I guess. She handed me a book from the shelf it was a story book and said "If you want to play with a book, play with this one." Then she took me to the dining room for lunch.
After eating lunch I asked my father "What is that covered with a white cloth." Father replies "Oh! That is the mirror I have to deliver it to----." Mother interrupted "Oh! My cape didn''t see himself. Let''s go after washing hands to see yourself in the mirror." After washing my hands Mother and Father took me to their room and took the mirror which was hanging on the wall and kept it on the surface giving support to the wall too. I saw myself than my father said "He going too cute isn''t he" My mother answered "Yup" I took one more look I had black hair and blue eyes.
I thought ''I am going to look cool when I will grow up. I am going to break the hearts of a lot of girls in the future. Better prepare for that in advance girls.''
After that my mother went to do the work and my father said "Let''s go to the field I will tell you something you will also enjoy it. But don''t tell your mother ok." I thought ''It should be about sword.''
My father''s name was Robert Krater and he was a former adventurer of class A who was a magic swordman which was quite rare in the country. My mother''s name was Yuna Krater she was also a former adventurer of class B in the same party as my father she used the basic element of water.
As I came out in the field with my father...
FIRST STEP FORWARD
As I came out in the field with Father he gave me a straight polished wooden stick. He told me to swing straight. I started it without making any mistakes. He was surprised to see that I was not making any mistake doing it. He raised black eyebrows, his eyes became wide, and dropped his jaw.
He said, "How did you do without making any mistakes? You really are a genius, aren''t you, as your mother says?" I thought, "Is doing this difficult? I also did it in my previous life without making any mistakes."
I know my every move and technique which I used in my previous planet but this body is not capable yet do using all that, bad. There are many things I want to try in this world and do many those mana and aura.
Aura is like ki but mana is a whole different concept for me and on that I can''t do it until I became 7 plus in age this sucks.
I asked my father "Papa can you use the aura I want to see? hehehehe"
Father asked, "From where do you know about aura?"
I told, "From the Books which are kept in the store room." he agreed "Okay, I will show you only one time." He then placed himself in an attacking stance. After that I can feel just like Ki, aura start forming around him then he swing his sword from the left and then from the right in a cross shape.
''thud''
There was a tree in front of us that had to be cut in this winter which was slashed down like butter by Father with use of aura.
I thought ''It means only the name is changed effects are the same that''s good I can use my ki attacks here now. If it''s true.''
After the noise caused by the tree falling down on the ground, the mother came out of the house to field running. she said, "What happened?" Father was frozen for a minute. Firstly I didn''t understand why but when mother asked him to come inside with her, after that I understood what was happening.
''So, that''s why Father said I will do it only one time''
I also went inside with my father but my mother and father started an argument over why he made me go with him in his training. After some moments argument heated. I was listening to the argument, no how I put it, yeah I was enjoying it by listening to it.
This story has been taken without authorization. Report any sightings.
After some time Father accepted his mistake and the argument was over. At dinner time they started talking like nothing had happened it was surprising to see.
After finishing dinner I headed to the bedroom and of course, I will sleep isn''t that obvious.
Now in the Morning Mother starts preparing for breakfast, and Father goes to do his workout. The time was flowing smoothly in my life. After breakfast, everyone started doing their work and I headed to the store room as well. After taking another book from that box. I start reading it.
It was about aura.
The principle and method to use the aura was the same as the ki. As I thought there only the name is different and it''s good for me though but I still have to read it. There was a page about the ranking system of aura.
The bottom one was called the low-rank aura user then the mid-rank aura user after that high-rank aura user after that there was the swordmaster then the more powerful them was the grandmaster. At the top was Transcendent.
I was excited to learn about magic. How to use it. It was something new for me completely new. So, I skip the rest of the book and open the page that explains the concept and fundamentals of magic.
I started reading about magic it was exhilarating. There was written about the mana and mana core. ''Mana is used as fuel to use magic. It is stored in the mana core which is present in the human body below the heart.''
''The person who (Humans, elves, dwarf, Beastman) uses magic is known as a mage. There is a method to restore the mana in the mana core in less time which is also used in the fights.''
''The method to restore mana in the mana core is known as the mana rehabilitate method. In this, the person has to feel the surrounding air and mana then take the mana inside from the skin like air is coming in the body after that guide the mana to the mana channels which are spread in the body like blood vessels. After hard practice, you don''t have to instruct your body to perform the method it will do it on its own.''
''There are two types of mages''
''The one who utilizes their mana to use who emit mana to the outside world allowing them to bend their surroundings to their will. They must supplement their mana core with mana from the outside world, to exert mana into their surroundings in the form of spells and they are known as Conjurers.''
''The one who enhance their bodies using mana, allowing them to possess strength, defense, and agility but at a certain point they can use mana to use the elements as shield by shooting it.
''There are stages of the mana core that help the mages to increase the mana quantity in their core and also their attack damages.''
''The stages are dark red, light red, dark orange, light orange, solid yellow, light yellow, silver, white, translucent.''
As I read it the mom''s voice came, "Come and eat your lunch."
After finishing lunch I came back to the store room to do that practically what I read.
I sat on the floor with crossed legs, both hands on the knee, and closed my eyes to concentrate below the heart as mentioned in the book. As I followed the same instruction a voice spoke in my head like that god "Now your time to know the other mana-restoring technique which is not used by humans. This method is known as the mana breathing technique used by Supreme creature known as the dragon.''
EMERGENCE OF SUPREME
The voice came into my head, "If you are listening to this that means you are trying to restore your mana by using the human method. I am going to tell you about a mana-restoring method used by dragons. If humans use this then a small child who doesn''t have the core can forcibly make one."
"hmm, now listen child don''t be surprised it is a recording that I had stored in your unconscious mind. You will listen more in the future as the time comes."
"Then you have to feel the mana and try to absorb it now after it touches your skin. You have to imagine and concentrate to break mana into too-small particles and then make it mix with your blood then guide it to go near your heart after that just make it go below your heart. As the creatures already have mana core and mana channel you just have to fill your core with mana then the stopped or blocked mana channel will become free, by this you have two ways to fill the mana into your core."
"This method is used by dragons so they can fill their core fast. Child use this it will help you a lot in the future to fight the supreme creatures."
"Practice it every day it will take some time to master it. When you master it. You will hear another message from me and that will help you a lot in the future." Then the voice stopped.
''.....''
''.....''
I thought ''It''s look like this was the end of the message. Let''s start forming it.''
I again closed my eyes and started trying to feel the mana but I was unable to feel anything other than air touching my body it was hard.
I started to get frustrated and then decided to break down the process into five parts.
''Firstly to feel the mana. Second to take mana inside the body. Third mix it with blood. Fourth to transport it near heard. And last take the mana outside the blood vessel and guide it to the mana core.''

YUNA KRATER
Whenever I finish my all housework I visit the storehouse because Cape is always there with one of my old books. I don''t know what he did with it because the book was open every time and he saw it with his full concentration like a mature man reading it.
A case of theft: this story is not rightfully on Amazon; if you spot it, report the violation.
I''m not sure if he actually read that book or just glanced at the pictures. Sure, I taught him how to read books and write a little, but only for stories. I was also surprised because he was learning reading and writing too fast than others in comparison. He also starts crawling and walking faster than the average kid. So, he could be reading that book if yes then we have to send him to the academy for further studies.
When I saw him with his father at the field he was not crying even after the sound caused by the tree instead he was smiling and had a surprising facial expression on his small cute face. His father also starts taking him to the field and making him learn something about swords. Sometimes I found him swinging the wooden stick.
It''s been more than two years and he always makes use of surprise by doing something that a child was not able to. So, I am not more surprised now because I know my cute little child is a genius.
But there is something I think he is keeping secret from us. But I believe he will tell us when the time comes. So, I didn''t ask him if is he keeping any secret from us or not, and if yes, then what is it?
I know that he is not a normal child like others. I guess he will become stronger in the future.
I have to become strict in the future in case he ever has bad characteristics in his personality.

[ ONE YEARS LATER ]
RAYON KRATER
***
As usual, I am in the storeroom to practice the mana breathing method. It''s been approximately a year since I started practicing the mana breathing method. Yesterday I was able to hit the stage where I could transport the mana with blood in blood vessels.
I sit cross-legged and close my eyes as usual then today after taking the mana in blood vessels I started transporting it near my heart. Then near the heart, I forced my mana out of the blood vessels. It was difficult but I am so near to completing my first mana breathing method and at last, I guided mana to the mana core. As I continue it for some minutes.
I can feel that there is something below the heart. After some time I could feel my all body parts hurt. It was like someone was forcing my body to explode from inside. I thought ''it could be the mana channel which is opening forcefully. I Endure it for about an hour.
But now ''I can feel something new inside my body is flowing. I was feeling light and pumped as I read the book this occurred to the augmenters but my mana also wanted to come out which only occurs to Conjurers. It means I am an augmenter and conjurer.''
I started going outside the storeroom.
''If it''s true then it must be because of the the mana breathing method. It was effective. It made me both augmenter and conjurer. God told me that it would help me in my fight with the supreme creature. I should have become a lot stronger than previous life''
''She also told me that there are more messages she recorded. And one of them I will hear after completing the mana breathing method.''
It is time to use mana practically. I thought ''But how.'' Then I started to search for the book in the box to control mana. Then I found some books on mana control and basic element control. Then I start reading the books.
USING FOR FIRST TIME
After reading all the books about mana control, I decided to do it practically. It took me around two weeks to read four books.
So, I started to go toward the field where my father was practicing with his sword. He also gifted me a small wooden sword for practice. So, I took my sword from my room before going there. I started practicing with the sword on my third birthday.
As I came to the field I held my sword forward with both hands. I started to focus on aura in the same way I used to focus on ki. However, I was trying it for the first time.
So, I was not confident enough that it would work but doing that for some time I awakened my aura the first time then I did some swings, and then at the final, I transferred my aura to my leg and jumped with a single rotation with swing the sword round with hand. It was a success I was able to do 360 degree round swing.
''Yup! I did it. Now, it''s confirmed that I can use the aura as same as the ki''
After that, I tried some more basic swings of my previous life.
''huff''
''huff''
''I am tired. It looks like my body is still not able to do this much easily. This damn body, it is too weak.''
''hmm?''
Father said, "How did you awaken your aura, and what with that all swing I didn''t teach you?"
''I forgot that Father was in the field to practice.''
I told to father, "I always saw you concentrating while holding the sword before swinging it. So, I just tried doing that and then I was able to awaken my aura"
"hmm"
Father asked, "Then what about those swings you did it was perfect."
I replied "Ohh!! That I was I just tried to make my own swings" Father was seeing me with doubtful eyes. Then he said, "Okay, then from tomorrow I will teach you how to use it."
''Seriously! I thought you would scold me as it is dangerous.'' Then I said to Father, "I also have formed my own mana core." Father was surprised to listen.
He said, "Don''t joke around you are still three years old" I said, "No I am not joking it''s true" Then I started to focus on my mana core and cover my body with it." As my father is a magic swordman he was able to feel that I covered my body with mana. He was surprised.
The story has been taken without consent; if you see it on Amazon, report the incident.
He asked with his wide eyes, "How did you do all that."
I told him, "Do you remember you told me that there are books in the store room? So, I found a Box there filled with books. They were about the continent, magic, aura, and creatures. So, I just reed it all. Although I was unable to understand all of them and also skip some information. I just learned all this from there."
Father said, "Those books belong to your mom you know. When she was an adventure she enjoyed reading books magic to learn more and the book you read was that. She also throws many books. And about your core how did you do that?"
I paused for a moment, and after thinking about how to tell him, I said, "After reading about the mana rehabilitate method, I made some changes to it, and then I distributed it into stages to make it easy. Just like that."
He said, "Okay"
Then he went to do his training. I thought ''Woh! I have taken care of it. I am sorry, mother and father, I can''t tell you the truth right now but I promise I will tell you in the future.''
''Oh! Yeah I also controlled the mana and showed it to the father. Let''s try again.'' I started to repeat the shame step which I did previously to show the father that I can control mana. Then I felt mana covering my body like armor it was the same feeling when I had previously to show father.
Then I saw a carriage that was well polished and designed with two black horses at the front pulling the carriage. The carriage was stopped in front of our house and a gentleman well-dressed looking like a noble came out of it and came to me and asked, "Oh, are you Rayon that Robert told me about? You are cute as he described and why you are playing with this wooden sword? That''s not what a small child like you...."
After a pause is continued, "Oh! What we have here. How did you awaken your aura not only that, you also had a mana core. How could you form a mana core."
Suddenly, my father came from outside the house and said, "Liam! It''s been a long time old friend." He was happy to see this nobleman. Then the nobleman said, "It''s been a damn too long time." Father asked, "How do you come here I never told you the way." Nobleman replied, "I became the family head the previous year. So, now I have the connection you know."
Then they started talking for some time and then Mother came out and told us to come in Mother also started talking to the nobleman. I was just sitting there.
Then Father said to me, "This is one of the country''s fifteen swordmasters Liam Ronhard." then I introduced myself, "Myself Rayon Krater" Father told me, "He is my childhood friend." I nodded in response. Then Liam asked my Father, "How did he awaken his aura not only that he also has a mana core that a human doesn''t have at this age."
My father replied seeing me, "He just saw me today and told me about it. When he told me how he did it I was surprised. He said that he made some changes in the mana rehabilitate method and formed his mana core with his mana channel and awakened the aura by seeing me practicing and reading books."
He was suspiciously looking at me and after a moment he said, "Friend, You have a genius child and intelligent as well." Mother was glaring at me with a grin she was happy after listening to those.
My father said, "Yeah I know" Then Liam said, "Oh! I also want to tell you that there is a job for you in the capital for you although it guards one and I also reserved a seat for you in advance. Please, accept this and come to the capital and don''t worry about the place to live there. I want you to three to live with us."
My father said, "I want time to think about it. I will send you the letter."
Then Uncle Liam said, "Okay then send it before next week. I will get going now." my mother and father asked him to stop till noon. But he replied, "I also want to talk with my friend more but there is so much pending work to do."
As he was gone my mother said, "You have a lot to tell me aren''t you?"
SECOND MESSAGE
I told my mother everything about how I awakened my aura and also about how I formed my mana core. I just tell her what I told Father.
Then Mother said, "You know sometimes you make us worried about you by doing this all. I am not telling you not to become stronger. I am just telling you that be careful. But today is the day to celebrate so, cheer up today is the day when you form your mana core which not a single human is capable of doing, and also you awakened your aura." She was to happy today I was also happy but she was more happier than me.
Then Mother made the food of my liking then we went to our bed.
''huh! I was sleeping where am I now.'' I was standing on the ground surrounded by the trees which were taller than the normal trees.
''It is probably a forest I think.''
The voice came inside my head it was the goddess''s voice, "This is my second message listen to it.'' As she said the surrounding scene changed. Now I was standing on the river shore. When I turned back there was a cave surrounded by bushes and long trees which made it look horror cave.
Then the goddess''s voice came gently and slowly, "Listen child as you can see there is a cave surrounded by trees it is not too deep. And there is an egg of an unknown beast which isn''t found on this planet it is of a different realm beast which will only get born when anyone gives it warm but no one is giving warm to it and I make sure that no one ever touches it. So, I put the barrier around it and when you go there you can go in and out of the barrier. But I don''t know about it right now since I no longer exist. This is the scene which I recorded when I came here last time. So, there should be some changes when you visit there. If you find that egg there then it will help you a lot in the future and there is a sword for you which I kept there I am sure you will like it."
After a moment she said, "It is a forest in between your town and the capital city known as Syler Forest. I will transfer the egg location into your brain from the unconscious mind"
''Yeah, I read about this forest it is one of the most deadly forests on the continent as we go deep into the forest more powerful and intelligent beasts are found. There are even S-rank beasts.''
The tale has been taken without authorization; if you see it on Amazon, report the incident.
After that, I woke up and it was morning already. I did my workout and then I went to washup myself and then did my breakfast. ''Today is a good day'' I thought while doing my breakfast because I am going to learn how to use aura in this world. I then went to my father in the field as he instructed me yesterday.
''huh'' He gave me my wooden sword.
"You left your sword yesterday in the field", Father said.
Then he started me explaining what is aura, and how to use it. The explanation was the same as ki. There was no difference between them. After that, he told me about the mana which was the same as I read in books but at some point which I was unable to understand there I was able to understand the Father''s explanation.
Then he said, "We argumentor use the mana with weapons to make the damage to our opponent, and when we infuse mana and aura both then the damage caused by it is several times maximum than the damage made by aura or mana alone."
Then I interrupted, "Can every argumentor infuse the mana with aura in the sword."
He answered with making smirk on his face, "No, only the people who are at the high rank aura user or higher rank can use it and your father is mid ranker aura user but I can use both. Although not at the same time but simultaneously."
I said, "And what about the core."
''ahem''
He proudly replied, "It''s dark orange." I asked, "It means you are strong."
He replied, "Of course I am."
After a pause, he said, "I have told you the theory of aura and mana also their importance and principles. Go come back here after an hour we have to go to the market to buy a weapon." I asked for whom.
He replied, " My of course, and we are going to the capital tomorrow morning and some of my former party members will come to."
Then I arrived in my room ''Then we have to go through the Syler forest. Let''s go for the egg when I become more powerful. At this time I have null survival rate in that forest. By the way, It''s not like I am going to die any sooner.''
After that, I went where father told me to come after doing some rest.
The market was one and a half kilometers away from here so, it took some time to get there. I was excited. It''s not like I never visited the market of this life but the reason for my excitement was that I was going to see the weapon store of this planet. I wanted to see the weapons of this planet and what they use here to fight the beasts. It''s not like they only use the normal sword and dagger there should be different types of swords and other weapons.
Then we arrive at the door of the weapon shop. Father said, "This is a weapon shop I will buy a small dagger for you too." Then we went into the shop it was big inside and five workers were working there. one was beating the iron sheet to make a weapon I don''t know which one though. Two were standing near the fire keeping iron on it making it get hot so it glowed in red colour one was at the counter and one was cutting the iron sheet.
DEPARTURE FOR CAPITAL
There were many types of swords, bows, daggers, spears, and many other types of weapons. There was a long sword with one sharp edge side and it was thin as well. This was the first I saw something like this. Then there was a spear just beside the long sword. It was as long as a normal spear shining in silver color but at the top three blades were formed making a right angle from each other. This looked like some special spearman used it because it has its own aura unlike others and also an intense one.
As I was glaring at that the spear father said looking toward me, "You must have felt some strange thing coming from it. It''s a spear made up of a special ore that contains its own aura and also mixes that ore with mana stone. It is used by high-rank aura users."
I asked, "What ores that might be."
He answered, "Oh! It is called aura ores. It is found in dungeons."
Then Father buys me a normal-looking dagger. But still, I was happy it was my first weapon in this world and then he bought a sword for himself. After that, we bought some more things from the market for traveling. ''As the capital was at the center of the country and we are living on its western side I don''t know for how many days we will be traveling.''
After that, we start heading back home.
....
***
I started getting ready to depart for the capital. As I become ready I start to head downstairs to the Mother and Father.
''thub''
''thub''
One carriage stopped in front of the house. From it, two men and two women came out. One man has a violet noir color long hair coming to his shoulder and a long sword. The second man has black hair just like his eyes and also has normal size but a solid frame, and a balanced distribution of muscle mass throughout the body, signifying both power and endurance and a robust and resilient build.
I thought ''He looks coolest but not more than my father.''
There were also two women one had emerald green eyes, framed by long, dark lashes and her skin was a gorgeous pale skin color but not too pale, and had blue hair which was a perfect match for her eyes, and also had as same my mother''s height. The second woman had brown eyes as same as the same color as chocolate, and silky hair with a yellow tulip color which looked more attractive in the sunlight.
This tale has been pilfered from Royal Road. If found on Amazon, kindly file a report.
Then the violet noir hair man said looking at me, "I am Velcor Avan a former party member of your father and mother. A long swordsman and B-class adventurer." The second man also said, "I am Aaron kanet former party member of your father and mother. A magic-swordsman of A class."
The green-eyed woman introduced herself with an expressionless face, "I am Oliva Sasar. I am also a former party member of your father and mother. A conjurer of wind element and A class adventurer." Then immediately send woman with yellow hair said to Olive teasingly, "Oh, friend don''t introduce yourself with that face." Then she turned to me and continued, "Oh! yeah I am Julie kana. A dagger user and mid-rank aura user and the class is A mine too cute boy."
Then I introduced myself with a node, "Myself Rayon Karter. An aura and mana user."
They were all shocked after that. I told them because we were going to travel and Father also told me to tell them this. Then Olive said making her eyes wide, "How, can a small child like you, can form a mana core and awaken aura it is impossible." I said with a smile on my face, "I thought you only make a straight face." The whole party started laughing. Then Father said to Oliva, "I will tell you in the carriage."
Then everybody starts keeping stuff in the carriage. After that, we sit on the carriage and depart for the capital. I thought ''How capital did look like in this world.'' Father and Mother start chit-chatting with their old party members they laugh and make jokes at each other. At this time I started feeling a bit alone but suddenly Oliva said with a smile on her face, "Now tell me how did you do that all. Mana core only forms naturally in the body when we reach a certain criterion of age. You have done what even translucent core mages can''t do. Did you know that?"
Then I explained to them as same as I explained to Father how I formed a mana core and awakened my aura. I thought ''I think It is a great deal to do it.''
They were all surprised after listening to the explanation. ''Of course, you will be because it is a great deal which was not done by anyone else. Yeah good for me.''
Then it was already noon we stopped at a place which was near the stream. And then they all started to set the camp near a tree and Aaron went to collect the woods to prepare food. After some time we start having our dinner. They all start talking and having fun.
I remembered my last camp with Rohald we were enjoying the camp at night and having our dinner when suddenly some assassins attacked us he was more powerful than me at that time. He told me to sit and watch. Then he charged toward assassins. They also knew using ki but not more than my friend does.
He used his ki in his feet and with a single step he was behind one of the assassins after killing one he started repeating the same thing all three times. I said in a loud voice, "Try something new I am getting bored here by watching you doing that continuously." Then he kept the dagger on the ground and charged barehanded then he started killing them with fighting spirit it was interesting to see. As he killed them all with martial arts one came from behind me grabbed my neck and took me as a hostage I also played along.
Rohald turns back and starts laughing at seeing me. Assassin said to Rohald, "If you even flinch I will kill him." He starts laughing more and more. He said while laughing, "Do you know to whom you are taken hostage?" Then he looked at me with fearful eyes. As he looked at me I infused the ki into my hand and stabbed through his heart. I said in a loud voice, "Oh man! I give him quick death by mistake." Then Rohald said, "Ah! don''t worry we still have one alive for interrogation and enjoyment." Then we started laughing again
ATTACK ON CARRIAGE
It''s been five days since we started our journey from Samhar where I was born to the capital. Now, we are one day away from the Syler forest and 4 days away from the capital.
''Let''s see where the route is of that beast''s egg.''
Then I closed my eyes and started concentrating to find the route of the egg. As I started concentrating and imagining about that cave where the egg was kept. As I imagined the cave I learned the memory of the route which led the way to the cave. Then even after opening my eyes, I can tell the location and direction of the path like I already had been there several times.
I thought ''The egg is deep in the middle of the forest now I know that but that area is about near the center. I have already decided that I will go there when I am strong enough. So, there is to worry about.''
We stop before entering Syler forest to get an early night''s sleep because tomorrow could happen anything at any time we don''t know because we are going to enter the forest tomorrow morning. It will take us till noon to cross the forest.
In the morning everybody starts being prepared like they are going to hunt. Father said, "Don''t worry rayon we just have to cross the outer part of the forest. In this part, only small low-level monster comes and also it''s rare to see even them in this region." Even my father had a hint of fear in his voice who was recognized as the most powerful adventure among the thunderstorm party.
I thought ''Even this is the outer part of the forest which is considered the safest part made A-Rank adventure fear. How much scarier is this forest?''
After that, we get inside the carriage to cross the syler forest. We were just a few kilometers away from the forest now but there was no sign of life.
Then after some time, we could see a tall tree of around two hundred meters the height of normal trees and some were even nearly two hundred tall and a thin route in between those long hills-like trees. It was like green hills were in front of us. As we entered the Forest we were barely able to see anything in front of us the trees were blocking the path of the lighting. As we went inside the forest was becoming darker and darker inside as it was devouring us. Then Oliver said, "It sure lives up to his nickname Unearthly Aberration Forest."
They did not show fear to me but every single one was feared inside. They started making random jokes to avoid the horrifying forest. Suddenly a loud sound started coming from the forest. It was the sound of the roaring of a beast.
The narrative has been taken without authorization; if you see it on Amazon, report the incident.
As they listen to the sound everybody takes their weapon for the attack but the voice stops coming from the forest. The voice came from deep inside the forest.
Mother said, "We just entered the forest sometime ago then why does the beast''s roar come this early."
Father said, "Yeah I was also not expecting this. It is too early. Whatever we should move faster without talking."
Then we started moving forward no one spoke a single word after that. As we were going the forest was becoming horrifying. Then we again heard the same roar. This time was not one but more. As we were moving forward the roar was becoming terrifying. Suddenly a low-rank beast came in front of our route. It looked like a fox but had two tails and it looked like it was running from something powerful beast. My father and all the members of the party also came to know that.
Then Velcor suddenly jumped on the beast and stabbed the beast instantly and made a grin on his face like now nothing was going to happen. He came back in the carriage and said, "I think there are only low-level beasts roaring."
My father said, "It looks like something is wrong with this forest today. Remember when we last time came here it had no sign of any beast at this place so we had to go deep inside the forest for beast hunting. We have to get out of here as soon as possible and I can sense some C and B-rank beasts near us."
Everybody nodded in agreement. As soon as my father said that my mother hugged me tightly and said, "Don''t worry dear nothing is going to happen we all are powerful here to take various A-rank beasts, and even Low-rank Rank beasts come here rarely so it should be a single C-rank beast which was chasing them and came further outside of the forest.
Everyone agreed with Mother. But Father was not telling something to me. Because everyone has become a little pale after killing that beast.
I thought ''Is there A rank beast or above.''
After some time I could also feel a sudden change in the atmospheric aura which was too intense. Suddenly Father ordered, "Move faster than this." Velcor said, "We are already at our full speed and the movbeasts are also looking like they are tired. We can''t go any further faster than this right now."
The beast''s presence was becoming stronger and stronger as we were moving forward. We know that a powerful beast is chasing us and moving faster than us. Suddenly after some time, Father ordered Velcor to stop the carriage but movbeast were terrified of the presence so it took the Velcor too much effort to finally stop them.
After when we stopped the beast''s roar came it was too loud that the carriage swift a little forward with only the roar.
Suddenly a fifty-meter-long beast came in front of us he had two upper limbs and standing on four legs ending with a sharp claw enough to kill a person with one step. It looked like a centaur but had two heads and each head had a pointed snout and the saliva was dropping from their mouth. It was looking scary.
Everybody was frozen for a minute by seeing that hungry beast.
S-RANK BEAST VS THUNDERSTORM PARTY
Everybody was frozen for a minute by seeing that hungry beast.
The beast roared once again. Father said to me, "Sit in the carriage no matter what don''t come out." Then Father, Mother, and all the party members began to go closer to the huge beast which looked them like they were feast to him.
The beast moved a few steps forward and stopped with his sharp-edged legs.
Father ordered, "Take the attack formation."
Then Mother and Oliva stand back and start incantation for the magic attack. Father stood in the front and Velcor and Aaron stood a few steps back from my father making an arrow shape formation. Julie was standing in the middle of Velcor and Aaron.
Then they ran forward with making formation. Father uses aura in his sword and augments a mana cover over his body. Then he jumped from the ground and landed a powerful slash on one of the necks of the beast but nothing happened to it. The skin of the beast was too thick to be cut down with the middle-level aura controller.
Then Aaron and Velcor also tried to cut the leg but nothing was happening to the legs. Then Julie jumped and used aura to increase the dagger range. As she jumped from the ground she started rotating at a high speed that we were unable to see her only wind and dust started covering her.
It was so cool To see that she was using daggers to slash the beast''s skin while rotating herself at an enormous speed that a whirlpool of wind started forming around her.
The father also starts running at a very high speed making ground press at every step and slashing with his full force. Velcor did a battle cry and jumped to one of the tree branches to jump on the beast then Aaron fought the same as Father''s way of fighting. Mother and Oliva were already prepared. After the last try, Father ordered mages to attack, and Father, Velcor, Aaron, and Julie got several steps back from the beast. Oliva and Mother attacked at the same time.
Mother''s attack was a hundred water blast that was launched at very high speed whereas Oliva''s attack was the slash wind whirlpool that created a gust of wind that contained the uncountable number of the wind slash. The attack covered the whole beast''s body we were only able to hear the cry of the beast which was so loud that we covered our ears.
After the dust clears we all can see many slashes on the beast and blood coming from it but the beast was recovering. Seeing that Father ran toward the beast''s one of heads and stuck his sword which was imbued with the aura in a wound and cut one of the heads but the beast suddenly started regenerating immediately everybody was shocked.
The tale has been taken without authorization; if you see it on Amazon, report the incident.
As Father was coming down to the ground after slashing the head he got a blow from the beast''s hand looking like a bear paw with large nails. He was sent flying by the blow and got hit by a tree in the back. He coughs blood from his mouth.
Everybody was feared after seeing Beast making his first move but after that, he didn''t even flinch and was glaring at the carriage where I was sitting.
After that, he used one of his back legs and kicked the Velcor with a large amount of force who was standing in the back of the beast and got a hit by branch of the tree and fell on the ground spitting blood from his mouth. The same happened to Aaron.
Julie froze waiting for her chance in fear then the Beast used his paw to blow her. She also became unconscious like others and the same happened to the Mother and Oliva simultaneously after that beast started moving toward the carriage I came out and ran toward the father to see his condition.
I don''t know what to do. I was angry. I wanted to kill the beast but how when I had this small body that was not able to do anything? I didn''t know how to use the mana. I was able to use aura but it was not able to do any damage to the beast because of my size. Despite all of that didn''t lose control of myself, I shouted, "Come to me you filthy beast. I will kill you even if take my life." But the beast stopped after listening to what I said. It was glaring at me I don''t know what to do.
The feeling of being weak emerges in me. The same feeling when my mother and father of my previous life were murdered in front of me. I hate being weak. Tears start coming out of my face. I shouted, "No, I don''t want to be weak. I hate this. I hate this feeling. This time I wanted to become stronger at least to save my loved one and wanted to become worthy to get their love."
Yeah, I cried just like in the previous world when my Mother and Father of past life were stabbed in front of my eyes. I was again standing in the same place again where I was back then. I was unable to do anything..... anything this time to as previous time. Then I cursed myself a lot for not being any help to them.
A voice came into my head it was the voice of my previous self he said, "Look you are still a helpless kid after all that. You are again weak. Do you remember how the rohald died for you. How many of your companions died for you to save you multiple times in this life see it just like before nothing has changed."
I shouted, "Stop don''t say that don''t I just... I don''t know what to say but this life is not like that they are not dead they are still breathing. They have to come back no matter what. They have to."
After that, the reply from my previous self didn''t come. ''I think I convinced him.'' And looked toward the fifty-meter-tall beast. I want to kill it right now but I was unable to. I didn''t have enough strength in this small body to kill it. I became irritated with myself and started cursing again and again.

The beast started moving toward me and then stopped before me. I was looking into his eyes with the anger that filled inside me toward that beast. Then it took me up with its claw and began to run deep into the forest.
DEAL BETWEEN A HUMAN AND PHANTOM
The beast''s massive paw engulfed me as it ran through the forest with an incredible speed that left me breathless. The rush of wind whipped through my hair, but my thoughts were in turmoil. What is happening? Why is it not eating me? It should be feasting on me right now, but instead, it''s running deeper into the heart of the forest.
I struggled to process the situation. Where is it taking me? What''s going on?
The beast continued its relentless pace, charging through the trees, each step echoing like a distant drum. The landscape blurred around me as we traversed the dense woods, drawing closer to the center of the forest where danger seemed to pulse in the air. ''It''s almost as if we''re nearing the very core of this place...''
After an hour, the beast''s speed remained unfathomable. We were nearly at the heart of the forest now. I could feel the shift in the air¡ªa change in the forest''s energy. The trees seemed older here, their roots tangled in a deeper, more ancient magic.
Then, without warning, the beast came to a halt. It was still as a stone, its head lowered, and its golden eyes fixed on something ahead. My heart raced in my chest as I turned to look.
In front of us stood a man¡ªyoung, but with an air of authority that made the world feel like it had paused for a moment. He appeared to be around twenty-two, with long white hair that shimmered like silver threads in the sunlight, his yellow eyes gleaming with an unsettling intensity. He wore a simple black outfit, his pale skin almost blending with the light around him. A small wooden house stood behind him, casting a shadow that felt oddly out of place in the otherwise vibrant surroundings.
The man''s eyes locked onto me, sharp and full of questions. His gaze was piercing, and it was clear he knew more than he was letting on. Without a word, a black sword materialized in his hand. The blade gleamed with an ominous aura, its edge sharp enough to cut through the very air. He pointed it at me, his expression stern.
"Why is godly energy emanating from you?" he demanded, his voice carrying a weight that made my blood run cold.
I met his gaze with calm determination. "I''m not going to tell you anything until you answer a question for me first."
The man''s lips curled into a slight grin. "Do you understand your situation right now?" His voice was full of both curiosity and a hint of amusement.
I met his challenging gaze, unwavering. "Yeah, I understand it perfectly. But if you kill me now, who will answer your questions?"
He raised an eyebrow, impressed by my audacity. "What an amusing child," he muttered to himself. After a pause, he looked at me with a more thoughtful expression. "Fine. Let''s make a deal. We''ll take turns asking questions. You ask one, then I ask one. How about it?"
I nodded, agreeing to his terms. He stepped back slightly, sheathing his sword into the ground beside him with a fluid motion, as though he had all the time in the world.
"But how do I know you''ll give me the truth?" I asked cautiously.
He chuckled softly. "It''s up to you to decide whether you believe me or not." Then, he raised a brow. "Shall I ask the first question, or do you want to?"
I glanced back at the beast, who was watching the exchange intently. The creature gently placed me on the ground before stepping back into the trees, disappearing into the forest without a sound. Its parting was strange, as if it were obeying an order or perhaps respecting the man.
I took a breath and, now on solid ground, turned to face the strange figure once more. "Can I begin asking the first question?"
A case of theft: this story is not rightfully on Amazon; if you spot it, report the violation.
He gave a short nod. "Of course."
I glanced at the beast''s retreating form before asking, "Why did that beast follow your orders?"
He sighed, as if this was a simple matter for him to explain. "I have the power to tame any beast in this world," he said. "Though, I cannot control supreme creatures I can command most of the others."
His words lingered in the air, and I felt a slight unease growing in my chest. He said, "Why is godly energy coming from you?"
He studied me for a moment, his gaze piercing. I answered, "A goddess gave me her power before she died, to complete a mission." My voice was steady, though the truth of the words carried a weight I wasn''t used to bearing.
The man tilted his head, as if evaluating me. I asked, "Did you order that beast to kill all the people who were with me?"
I froze. The question was sharp, like a blade aimed straight at my heart. "No," he replied with a simple shake of his head. "I only instructed it to bring you here and keep the others at bay. They''re safe now. They crossed the forest." He snapped his fingers, and in an instant, the image of my party¡ªmy mother and father¡ªappeared before me, standing together, tears streaming down their faces.
My breath caught in my throat as I saw them again, alive but not well. I hadn''t realized how much I had missed them until this very moment. Tears filled my own eyes, but a strange, bittersweet joy surged through me, knowing they were safe.
The man continued, his voice softer now. "Would you mind telling me the mission the goddess gave you?"
I looked at him, hesitation building in my chest. "No," I said firmly. "It''s a secret."
He didn''t seem surprised. Instead, he nodded knowingly. "I have a guess," he said after a moment, his eyes gleaming with something darker. "Is it to kill the god of this realm?"
I stiffened at the mention of it. My heart skipped a beat. ''How did he know?'' "How did you know this?" I asked, suspicion creeping into my voice.
He grinned, a smirk that felt more knowing than anything else. "Ah, so my guess was right after all," he said. "I know because I''m not from this realm. I''ve been watching, everything that is happening in this realm" His eyes gleamed with something ancient, something dangerous. "And now I''ve got my answers. I have a deal for you."
He paused for a moment, his demeanor shifting to something more serious. "I can help you. I can help you kill the gods. But in return, you must help me."
I furrowed my brow. "Why would you help me? What''s in it for you?"
A strange light flickered in his eyes as he responded. "I want your help in fighting against those who killed the gods. You see, I''m not human. I''m a Phantom from another realm¡ªthe realm of Agousis, where all the gods are dead." His eyes blazed brighter, and I could feel the oppressive weight of his power building around us. "I''m not just offering you help¡ªI''m offering you the chance to join me."
I narrowed my eyes. "So, you''re not from this realm," I murmured. "Then why are you here?"
He spread his arms wide, and in that instant, something shifted. Two horns¡ªsharp and imposing¡ªgrew from his head, and his eyes turned a sickly yellow. An immense pressure built around him, and I collapsed to my knees, the sheer force of it making it almost impossible to breathe.
I barely managed to lift my gaze. "Hey! Why show off with that much power?" I gasped, struggling to speak.
He looked down at me apologetically. "Ah, sorry. It''s been a while since I''ve let my true power slip." He waved a hand, and the pressure melted away as quickly as it had come, leaving me gasping for air.
"I am Agius Fursus," he said, his voice quiet now but still filled with the gravity of his words. "I come from Agousis, a realm without gods. We Phantoms are the ones who killed the gods in our world. We live for seven hundred years." He looked down a faint sadness in his expression. "But I escaped here. I fled from my own kind because I discovered the truth about why we killed the gods."
I felt the weight of his words sink in, the realization of the pain behind them. "So, you want my help to fight against those who killed the gods?" I asked.
He nodded solemnly. "Yes. And in return, I offer to train you. I''ll make you strong enough to fight beside me, but you must live in this forest for five years. We''ll train together, and you''ll learn the ways to fight the gods and the Phantoms."
I thought about it. This is my chance to get stronger, to protect my loved ones. My heart ached at the thought of being away from my parents, but I knew this was the only way I could truly protect them.
I bowed my head, the decision already made in my heart. "Okay, then. From today, I will be in your care, Master."
Agius smiled, his expression softening. "Good. Don''t worry, you won''t regret this. Now, go rest in the house. It''s small, but it''ll be enough for the two of us. Tomorrow, our training begins."
And with that, the man I would now call master, Agius Fursus, returned to his human form, his yellow eyes still gleaming with the weight of his past¡ªand the challenges yet to come.
EGG AND LEGENDARY SWORD
Here''s an enhanced version of the scene that adds more detail and emotional depth, making the moment feel more immersive and intense:
It was the second day in the forest, and the air was thick with the earthy scent of the wilderness, carrying the promise of my coming trials. Today marked the beginning of my training. But before anything, there was something I had to share with Master.
I walked over to him where he was cooking meat over a small fire, the sizzling sound filling the quiet of the forest. The firelight danced across his weathered face, his expression calm as always.
"Master, there''s something I need to tell you," I said, my voice steady but carrying an undercurrent of anticipation. "God stored some of her memories in my mind. I only started hearing them after I met certain criteria. There was a message about an egg¡ªa beast egg not from this world. She told me to take it and raise it. It''s important, for my future battles against the gods. I need to go and retrieve it."
I watched as Master listened carefully, his eyes narrowing in thought. His face remained neutral, but there was a subtle shift in his gaze¡ªa sign of curiosity.
"Okay, then," he said, his voice deep and calm. "We''ll go there first. I''m curious about this egg now. But before we do, eat your fill. By the way, do you remember the route?"
"Yes," I replied, nodding.
We finished our meal in silence, the air around us thick with the promise of the unknown. After a brief pause, we set off toward the forest. As we neared the heart of the wild, the trees grew taller, their massive trunks stretching up to 300 meters, their roots like twisted veins deep within the earth. The forest here felt alive with energy, and the growls of powerful beasts¡ªA-rank, S-rank, and even SS-rank¡ªechoed in the distance. But the creatures didn''t dare approach. The very presence of Master was enough to keep them at bay.
We walked for an hour, and soon, the river came into view, the cave hidden just beyond its edge. But as I approached, I felt a strange sinking sensation. Something was off. I started searching, retracing the steps I remembered, but the cave wasn''t where I thought it should be.
Master stayed silent, watching my every move.
"Something wrong?" he asked, his voice carrying the weight of experience.
I frowned, deep in thought. Then, a realization hit me. It wasn''t the place that had changed¡ªit was the way I had perceived it. I had only seen it once, through the vision granted by the goddess. With that clarity, I turned and followed the correct path. And there, like a hidden memory, the cave revealed itself to me.
A small smile tugged at the corners of my mouth as I made my way inside, Master following silently behind.
The cave was dark, the air thick with ancient power. After venturing deeper, we finally came to the end of the passage. There, at the back of the cave, lay a black egg, almost shimmering with an unnatural aura. And beside it, the sword¡ªits hilt dark and elegant, almost like a forbidden relic.
I hesitated for a moment, turning to Master. "Please don''t come any closer. The goddess placed a barrier around it. Only I can touch it. This sword and egg... they are bound to me."
Master nodded without a word, though his eyes betrayed a flicker of curiosity. I carefully reached out, my hands trembling slightly, and took both the egg and the sword.
This tale has been unlawfully obtained from Royal Road. If you discover it on Amazon, kindly report it.
As we exited the cave, Master turned to me, a glint of interest in his gaze.
"Give me the sword," he said.
I handed it over to him, and as soon as he touched it, the sword disappeared in an instant.
I blinked in confusion. "Where did the sword go?"
Master showed me his wrist, where a small, intricate mark had appeared. It looked like nothing more than a faint, stylized symbol, but I could feel the power emanating from it.
"It''s one of the marks that allow us to store items," Master explained. "It depends on the size of your core. Once we return, I''ll mark you as well. But first, let''s head back."
We made our way back to our campsite, and Master pulled out a small box from his mark. Inside was a stamp, intricately designed with symbols I didn''t recognize. My curiosity piqued, I asked, "What is this?"
"This," Master said, a hint of pride in his voice, "is the stamp used to create storage marks like the one I have. It''s a simple thing, really. Now, let me give you one."
I raised my hand, the anticipation building. With a drop of my blood, Master stamped the mark onto my right palm. I winced slightly, but it was brief. The symbol glowed a deep purple, then faded away, leaving only a faint tingling sensation.
"Why did it disappear?" I asked, my brow furrowed in confusion.
"When you channel mana into it," Master explained, "you can activate the mark. You''ll be able to see the items stored within and pull them out."
I nodded, absorbing the new information. Then, after a pause, Master spoke again, his voice more serious. "Now, tell me more about your powers. What have you awakened so far?"
I thought for a moment, then answered with a steady voice. "I''ve awakened my aura and formed a mana core. I know how to use aura, but I''m still learning how to properly control and use mana. Also, I''m a conjurer and an augmentor."
Master nodded thoughtfully. "I see. Alright, I''ll teach you the basics of elemental magic first¡ªwind, fire, earth, and water. But I''ll also teach you some advanced elements, like lightning, gravity, ice, and sound. For now, give me the egg. I want to see it up close."
I handed the egg to Master, and as he inspected it, his expression shifted. His eyes widened, and his sharp gaze locked onto me.
"This is... a Cyteris egg," he murmured, his voice filled with awe. "The Cyteris are supreme beings from our realm. They are powerful¡ªmore so than even dragons. This one... it''s the last of its kind."
I felt a chill run down my spine. "A Cyteris? What does that mean for me?"
Master paused before answering, his tone grave. "Before we can even think about defeating the gods, we must first face and defeat a Cyteris. I killed one many years ago, before I killed a god. They are the true apex of power in our realm."
I looked at him, disbelief on my face. "You killed a god?"
Master smiled faintly, a dangerous glint in his eyes. "Yes, brat. I did. Over seven hundred years ago."
His words hung in the air, heavy with the weight of history. Then, without another word, he sat down, pulling out another box from his storage mark. It was filled with more meat, which he began eating with casual ease. I sat beside him, still processing the enormity of what he had just said.
"You mentioned phantoms live only for seven hundred years," I said, unable to suppress my curiosity. "Is that true?"
He nodded. "Yes. The phantom who kills gods has to awaken a power known as ''Source.'' It''s like mana, but far more powerful. It gives use immorality. We control it with mana. I''ll teach you how to use it, but not yet. It takes time to fully understand."
I was stunned, but Master continued as if nothing had happened, handing me another box of meat. "Eat with me, brat. There''s a lot to take in, but you''ll get used to it."
I stared at the meat for a moment before taking a bite. The warmth of the food settled in my stomach, but my mind was still reeling from everything I had just learned.
Master, meanwhile, had already moved on, his voice steady but filled with the gravitas of years spent battling unimaginable foes. "Your body is breaking down, brat. The power you received from the gods is too much for a human body to handle without proper training. We''ll work on it, but be prepared¡ªthis journey will be long and painful. When the time comes, I''ll give you the sword I took from you. But not yet."
With a sigh, he stood up, handing me the egg again. His voice softened, almost like a mentor''s reassurance. "Now, focus. Feel the mana around you. Imagine it flowing through you, wrapping around you, forming a condensed ball of wind. Do this, and your training begins."
I closed my eyes, letting the energy of the forest flow into me. I could feel the mana¡ªits pull, its force¡ªand I began to focus, just as Master had instructed. The wind began to gather around me, slowly at first, then more powerfully as I condensed it into a sphere.
The training had begun.
TRAINING
It''s been three months, and I''m now four years old. Damn, I''ve only learned how to control the wind. I went to Master, and he said, "Let''s see how well you can control wind magic. You''ll use it, and I''ll just deflect it. Start."
Without hesitation, I ran toward him. I condensed the surrounding wind into small, focused balls and hurled them directly at him. With a casual flick of his hand, Master barely moved, and the windballs vanished into thin air as if they''d never existed.
Undeterred, I quickly formed a hand gauntlet out of the wind, its swirling gusts hardening into solid force, and threw a punch aimed at Master''s chest. His expression didn''t change. He didn''t flinch. With one swift motion, he grabbed my wrist, twisted it, and sent me flying toward a nearby tree with a powerful throw.
But just as I was about to crash into the tree, I surrounded myself with a burst of wind, steadying my body and adjusting my position in mid-air. With a graceful landing, I hit the ground on my feet, the force of the impact dissipating through the wind I controlled.
Master''s voice rang out with a mischievous tone. "I taught you more than this. Don''t disappoint me, brat."
A smirk tugged at my lips. It was time to show him something more. I raised both hands, spinning the wind around me like a storm, gathering it into a massive, violent vortex. The swirling wind took form, a violent whirlpool of force twice the size of Oliva''s. With a powerful gesture, I launched the massive wind whirlpool directly at Master.
The air howled as the vortex tore through the space between us, but Master merely snapped his fingers. In an instant, the whirlpool vanished, as if it had been consumed by an invisible force.
I groaned inwardly. Only one-fifth of my mana remained. There wasn''t much time. I closed my eyes for a moment, focusing. I began the mana breathing technique, slowing my breath as I deliberated while attacking. I could feel my mana slowly replenishing, the channeling process drawing on the mana in my blood vessels.
I fired another wind ball, this time pushing it to double the speed of the previous one. It was a perfect shot¡ªuntil Master snapped his fingers again, effortlessly dismissing the ball with a flick of his wrist.
"Condense it three times more than this one," Master said, his voice cool and commanding.
Nodding, I focused even harder, pushing my limits. The wind compressed tighter, the energy more volatile, and I shot off a dozen wind slashes, each one cutting through the air with deadly precision. With no time to waste, I rushed toward Master, the wind whirling around me, forming a protective shield. My gauntlet crackled with power, ready to strike.
The instant I was within range, Master formed his own wind slash and shot it toward my slashes. The two attacks collided in mid-air with a deafening crack, sending a shockwave of displaced air in all directions. The force of the collision sent me skidding back, my feet sliding across the ground.
If you encounter this tale on Amazon, note that it''s taken without the author''s consent. Report it.
I wasted no time. With the wind still swirling around me, I darted forward and thrust my gauntlet-covered hand at Master''s chest. In a flash, he grabbed my wrist with one hand, his grip like iron, and with a flick of his other hand, he slammed me into the ground with devastating force.
The world spun for a moment as I hit the dirt, but I gritted my teeth and pushed myself up. My body stung from the impact, but I refused to show any weakness. I wasn''t going to cry, not after everything Master had taught me.
Master stepped back, a mixture of disbelief and admiration in his eyes. "How is the human body this strong? I thought you''d be crying by now, with your bones broken."
I stood up, dusting myself off with a grin. "You see, I''ve got a pretty sturdy body."
Master raised an eyebrow, his voice growing serious. "But you''ll need a stronger body than this to defeat a god."
I nodded, my expression hardening. "Yeah, I''m well aware of that."
He smiled, clearly impressed. "You''re too smart for a boy your age."
I wasn''t finished yet. My eyes burned with determination. With the last of my mana, I began to shape an immense ball of wind, twice the size of my own body and compressed it even further. The air around me crackled with energy as the ball formed¡ªdense, powerful, and ready to be unleashed. I fired it toward Master with everything I had left, my body shaking from the effort.
Master''s eyes widened for a split second, his calm composure faltering. In an instant, he formed his own wind ball, much smaller but compressed to an extreme degree. He shot it directly toward my massive windball.
The two attacks collided with a deafening roar. The explosion was like a thunderclap, an enormous shockwave that knocked me off my feet, sending me flying through the air. The force of the collision sent a surge of energy through my body, overwhelming me. I crashed to the ground with a heavy thud.
I blinked, disoriented, before opening my eyes. Master was standing over me, a concerned expression on his face.
"What happened?" I asked, groggy from the impact.
He grinned but his voice was soft with worry. "You fainted after that last attack."
I smirked weakly. "Then why are you making that worried face?"
He let out a small chuckle. "I was worried about my student."
I raised an eyebrow. "Oh, is that so?"
He looked at me with a teasing grin. "Were you using the mana breathing method while fighting?"
I nodded, slightly out of breath. "Yeah, I used it so my mana could replenish while I fought. I was channeling mana through my blood vessels while attacking, so I could keep up the pressure and recover at the same time."
He gave me an impressed nod. "That explains how you managed to fight for so long and pull off that enormous attack. Honestly, I didn''t expect that."
I smiled. "Yeah, I could see the surprise on your face."
He chuckled. "Aren''t you getting full of yourself?"
I grinned, teasing him. "Oh, old man, just admit it¡ªyou were surprised."
Master laughed heartily. "You little brat, calling me old."
I raised an eyebrow. "Aren''t you the one who''s so proud of being nine hundred and fifty years old?"
He burst into laughter. "You little¡ªAlright, alright, I admit it. I was surprised by your last attack. Now, let''s go inside. I need to make dinner, and you should meditate while I cook."
It was already noon. I started meditating, focusing on refining my control over the god''s power. As I did, I felt my mana core refining, and a powerful, building energy surged through me, preparing me for whatever came next.
AURORA
Master said, "Are you ready to go to the city tomorrow as I told you?"
I replied, "Yeah, I''m ready now."
Master raised one of his hands and drew a large circle in the thin air, the size of his height, using his source and mana. As he completed the circle, the surrounding air grew warm. Surprised by the sudden warmth, I watched as the circle began to glow, flaring white with red sparkles.
I asked the master, "What are those red sparkles in the milky-white glow?"
He answered, "The red objects are sources. We use sources to coordinate the location we want to go to."
I then asked, "What about the transportation gates on the continent? Do the magicians who build transportation gates also know how to use sources?"
Master gently placed his hand on my head and replied, "Brat, didn''t I tell you humans don''t use sources? It''s pure mana that''s used in artifacts. They imbue mana into two artifacts to create a single transportation gate¡ªone at the starting position and another where they want to transport. After placing the artifacts in their respective locations, they activate them, and Tada! the transportation gate is ready."
He chuckled softly before continuing, "It''s a long process to create one, and only mages of the translucent stage can make it. It also takes a lot of time."
He then ruffled my hair a little before withdrawing his hand.
We entered the transportation gate, and with a single step, we were outside the forest.
Master said, "The city is just a mile away from here."
Turning around, I saw the forest behind me and a rising sun in front of me, giving off warmth.
We started moving forward, and after some time, we arrived at the city. I hadn''t seen humans for three months. The city was bustling with a crowd.
Master took me to a shop to find clothes suitable for training.
He stopped in front of a shop that looked like a weapon shop. ''Why did he stop at a shop that looks like a weapon shop from the outside?''
As we entered, a woman greeted us with a soft voice. Without paying her any attention, Master led me to the counter. There, a woman with brown hair and coffee-colored eyes smiled at the master and said, "Oh! Long time no see, Agius. How have you been?"
A case of literary theft: this tale is not rightfully on Amazon; if you see it, report the violation.
He replied in a flat tone, "I''m fine."
Suddenly, she turned toward me and said in a playful voice, "Look what we have here. Looks like you''ve finally accepted one of the proposals."
Master replied, slightly irritated, "I never accepted any proposal. He is just my apprentice."
She laughed and said, "Oh! Sorry, after seeing him, as handsome as you, I thought he was your son. You two look good together. Now, tell me why you''ve come to this mixed cloth and weapon shop."
Master answered, "I need two sets of clothes for him and a wooden sword."
She called over one of the workers to take me upstairs to find the clothes while they continued talking. After some time, I chose both sets of clothes and returned downstairs. In the meantime, Master had also selected a wooden sword for me without wasting time.
After buying the clothes and sword, we headed to a restaurant to eat something. Finally, after such a long time, I was going to eat something good, not just beast meat.
After eating, we headed back to the forest to return to the center. Once again, Master drew a circle in the air with his hand, and a portal formed. We stepped through it and were back in the forest. Master went off to do his own practice, and I headed to my room to rest.
There, I saw the egg of the supreme being. It had fallen, and a small crack had appeared on its surface. I quickly ran over, picked it up, and worried about the crack.
As I entered my room, another crack appeared on the egg, and after a short time, a small, dark black limb emerged from the shell. Could this limb belong to the supreme being?
"kee"
"kee"
Then the egg split in half, and a small creature emerged. It had four limbs and looked like a small feline, with two tiny wings on its back. It also had scales like a dragon. It was about twice the size of my palm.
It was adorable.
I quickly ran toward my master, holding the creature in my hand. The little beast was glaring and making sounds.
"kee"
I couldn''t understand what it was saying. When Master saw the creature in my hand, he asked, "Did the egg crack?"
I replied, "Yes, as I entered the room, the egg started cracking, and this little beast came out. It''s making some noises."
He looked at it and said, "It''s a female. Black Cyteris are female, and white ones are male. Now, place your hand on its head and imbue a little mana."
As I did, a mark appeared on my right wrist. The symbol resembled the beast.
Master said, "She accepts you as her familiar. Now, you can understand her voice."As I looked at the beast, a voice entered my mind."kee" ''Papa''
I was shocked and said, "Hey, I''m not your papa or anything, okay?"Master laughed and asked, "You little brat, did she just call you what I think she did?"
I nodded and replied, "Yeah, I don''t know why she''s calling me Papa."
"kee" ''Papa''
I said, "Stop calling me that."
Master spoke softly, "Kid, become her guardian. She is the last one remaining, as far as I know. She''s alone, you know. Accept her as your daughter, and help her grow well."
When Master mentioned that she was alone, memories of my own loneliness flashed in my mind, just like hers. I smirked slightly and agreed to Master''s words.
Master continued, "She can also take a human form when she grows enough."
I looked at the little creature and said, "Your name will be Aurora. How does that sound?"
"kee"
Master added, "Prepare yourself. Your training will resume tomorrow."
NIGHT OF THE LAST LESSON
[4 YEARS AFTER]
Every day, Master trained me relentlessly. No breaks. He taught me how to control the wind, earth, fire, and water through the power of mana, just like a conjurer¡ªexcept, without the need for incantations. Then he began to teach me the art of augmented magic, as the augmenters do.
He also introduced me to the power bestowed upon me by the goddess. He warned me that the goddess''s power couldn''t be used directly and that I had to undergo immense practice. Over the past four years, I could only wield it for about a minute at a time, but I knew that with continuous practice, I''d be able to extend that.
When I used the goddess''s power, my strength surged tenfold, my speed became twofold of the sound itself, and my magical power and aura tripled. However, the toll it took on my body was extreme. After using it, I felt completely drained, as if every ounce of my energy had been stripped away. If I used it two times in a row, my body felt like it was about to tear itself apart. I named this form Celestial Transmute.
The goddess''s power also increased my mana pool by double and significantly enhanced my mana breathing rate.
But it didn''t stop there. I could also draw on Aurora''s power. When I used it, I could fly at the speed of sound. Yet, the limitation was that I could only sustain it for one hour. The more my mana core grew, the longer I would be able to maintain it, Master said. During this time, my eyes turned a deep crimson, mimicking the eyes of Aurora. My pupils shifted into the shape of a dragon''s, and my hair turned stark white. I called this form Cyteric Body, a form where my magic was enhanced, and my speed was like nothing I had felt before.
Master also taught me how to create teleportation gates using sources, passing on knowledge of source control. And, to top it all off, he taught me how to wield Integrator Magic¡ªa unique form that is lightning, gravity, sound, ice, and a special, mysterious blue flame. With the goddess''s power, I no longer needed a wand to perform conjurer magic.
Aurora, too, had grown immensely powerful. She could now defeat an S-rank beast effortlessly and was on par with SS-rank beasts. But she still had a long way to go. At her current size, she was as big as a lion cub¡ªthough she could change her size at will. Now, she could easily curl up and nap on my head if she wanted.
One evening, Master said, "Tomorrow will be our spar. Your last training day. You''re allowed to use every magic and power you''ve learned. Even the power of your familiar and the goddess."

I stood in front of him, my eyes wide with disbelief. "I can''t believe it''s already been four years."
Master chuckled. "Brat, you''ve become powerful enough to take down an SSS-rank beast."
I smirked. "Yeah, Old man, I know that, but it''s still not enough to win against a supreme creature."
Master''s gaze softened. "You will because after you visit your house, we''re going to venture into the world as adventurers. That''s when you''ll become even stronger."
I grinned playfully. "Yeah, yeah, I know. But I told you, I''m stopping there for at least six months."
Master grinned back, a hint of mischief in his eyes. "Yeah, I know. I''ll be here in this forest, waiting. Come back to me after that, brat."
A sadness washed over my face. I hesitated before speaking, my voice quieter than usual. "Can''t you come with me, Old man? I really don''t want to leave you. You''re more than just a master to me. I know if I tell them you saved my life, they''ll be happy to see you."
Master''s expression changed. His eyes softened, his lips curling into a smile. "Brat¡" He looked away for a moment, lost in thought, before adding with a small grin, "Okay, I''ll go with you."
His voice trembled slightly as his eyes welled up. He smiled through it. "Thank you, kid. You''ve made me feel important in your life."
Aurora, perched beside me, chirped softly. "Keeet."
I chuckled silently. ''Old man really has become emotional, hasn''t he?''
I heard Aurora''s voice in my mind. "Yeah, you''re right. He never showed this much emotion before. He always smiled and joked during training, but now... I think your words brought up some painful memories."
I nodded inwardly. "Yeah, there''s a past there, something he tried to forget. I think today, hearing that, it brought it all back to him."
Aurora''s voice softened. "I think you''re right."
I turned to Master with a playful expression. "What happened, Old man? Getting sentimental on me now?"
Master sighed deeply, his gaze distant. "You know, everyone has their own cruel past. Today, for the first time in years, I''m feeling alive again."
He fell silent, his eyes clouded with thoughts of the past. "Living a long life isn''t always a blessing. The longer you live, the more people you lose. It''s just the cycle of life. Immortality... it''s not as glamorous as people think. You watch your loved ones fade away, one by one, and all you can do is keep going. You will be betrayed several times."
My thoughts drifted back to my previous life, memories of betrayal and loss. ''Yeah, I know exactly what he means. I''ve been backstabbed too...''
I spoke softly, my voice barely a whisper, "Is that so?"
Master nodded slowly. "Yeah. There are things I can''t teach you... things you''ll only learn through life itself. Life is full of challenges. It''s not as simple as your duel with me. It''s much harder. Sometimes, it will push you to the edge of life and death."
He paused, his expression solemn. "But whatever happens brat... you''re my student. Never give up. No matter how many times you fall, you rise again. That''s the rule of life. Now, get some sleep. Tomorrow''s sparring will be the toughest yet."
I nodded solemnly, determination in my eyes. "Don''t worry, Old man. I''m not going to give up on anything I decide."
As I lay down, my mind raced. ''No regrets in this life. I won''t give up, not like in my past life.''
MASTER AND STUDENT
I stood before Master, my heart pounding in anticipation. This was it¡ªthe final spar. The culmination of four years of relentless training. Master, always the enigmatic figure, looked calm, his expression unreadable, but his eyes flickered with a hint of something... pride? Or perhaps just the anticipation of this monumental moment.
He handed me the Goddess''s Sword that he took to me while saying when the time comes he will give me.
However, when I attempted to draw it from its scabbard, the sword resisted¡ªits magic not allowing it to be pulled free easily. I frowned, feeling the sword''s weight, its dormant power. Channeling my mana into it, I felt the blade respond, its form changing with each pulse of energy. The sword came free with a faint hum, the dark red steel reflecting the last rays of the sun.
A blade unlike anything I had ever seen. Its dark red hue gleamed in the fading light, its single-edged blade as thin as a whisper but as sharp as a storm. I took the hilt, and instantly, the sword began to adjust, becoming perfectly attuned to my grip. It felt as if the blade had come alive in my hand, its weight shifting seamlessly, guiding me.
Armor began forming around my body as if summoned by the very air. The black armor, laced with red borders, fit me perfectly¡ªsleek, lightweight, and yet powerful, like the skin of a dragon. It was as though the armor was a living thing, merging with me, each piece molded to my form. It was a perfect complement to the Goddess''s Sword.
Master''s voice echoed across the arena, "Good. The armor is crafted from a material more durable than dragon scales¡ªmore powerful than even Cyteris''s own. Now, I can fight you without being worried about you."
I met his gaze, and for a brief moment, the bond we shared¡ªthe mentor and student¡ªflickered in the space between us. Then, we each took two steps back. The air crackled with tension.
Without another word, I lunged forward, propelling myself with all the speed I had honed over the years. Mana enveloped me like a second skin, my every movement reinforced by the rhythm of the mana-breathing method that had become second nature. It was a technique I''d mastered, allowing me to replenish my mana even as I used it.
The first clash was immediate, the sound of our blades ringing out with a sharp, metallic clang. Sparks flew as the Goddess''s Sword met Master''s blade, the shockwaves radiating out, cutting through the air. With every strike, I pumped more aura into my sword, but Master¡ªhe didn''t use any mana. Instead, he fought with raw, brutal strength, as if this battle were nothing more than a dance for him.
''His strength¡ it''s unreal'', I thought, narrowly avoiding a swing that would have cleaved me in half.
I gritted my teeth and adjusted my stance, channeling my frustration into my movements. This wasn''t my old body, not the one I had trained with in a previous life. My strikes felt heavier and clumsier, but I wouldn''t let that stop me. I adapted, drawing on the style Master had taught me¡ªa fluid, unpredictable form that focused on precision and agility. My sword became an extension of my will, and with a thrust, I aimed toward him.
But Master was faster. He parried my thrust effortlessly, pushing me back with a casual flick of his wrist. I didn''t stop there. A side slash, imbued with aura, followed, but once again, Master blocked it with ease, his expression unreadable.
Dammit... I thought, frustration bubbling up inside me. I had to do more. I needed to do more.
Pushing my aura to its limits, I unleashed a cross-slash, the blade glowing with the power of my aura. The energy surged through me, into the sword, but once again, Master blocked with minimal effort. He barely even moved, as if this battle were a mere warm-up for him.

I had to do something different. Something unexpected.
I surged forward again, this time using the 360-degree slash I had perfected in my earlier training, my sword arcing through the air with deadly precision. I felt the energy crackle in the air as I moved, surrounding myself with a vortex of mana that empowered each slash, making my attacks faster, sharper, deadlier.
Clash.
Clash.
Clash.
The sound of our blades striking echoed like thunder. I could feel the ground beneath us shudder as our mana clashed, the air rippling with every swing. Master''s blade didn''t falter, didn''t even show the slightest sign of strain.
I was getting tired. My limbs felt heavy, my attacks slower, but I couldn''t stop. I wouldn''t stop.
I shifted tactics. Reaching deep within myself, I used my lightning magic to enhance my speed. I shot forward, a bolt of electricity coursing through me as I fired dozens of lightning arrows at Master.
But once again, he was ready. Master raised his hand and summoned an earth wall, thick and impenetrable, to shield himself from the barrage. With a growl, I ran forward, my body crackling with energy, lightning surging around me as I broke through his defense with my sword. But when I reached the other side, Master wasn''t there.
His voice, deep and calm, came from above. "Use more power, brat. Don''t hold back."
Above me¡ I thought, just as the air shifted.
Before I could react, I felt it. Master was falling toward me, a crushing force of mana gathering in his hand. I barely had time to react as he slammed his fist into the ground, creating a shockwave that sent me crashing down, the force of it shattering the earth beneath me.
Boom!
I hit the ground hard, the impact creating a crater beneath me. The armor held, but my bones ached from the force. I groaned, pushing myself to my feet, barely staying upright. I couldn''t let him win like this.
I focused, channeling my remaining strength. The Cyteric Body form surged through me, my eyes turned crimson, my hair white as snow. My senses sharpened, and I could feel the entire world around me¡ªevery movement, every shift of the air.
Master''s next move came almost too fast for me to follow. But now, with the Cyteric Body''s enhancements, I anticipated it. I dodged, just barely, as he swung his blade at me. The force of his attack sent gusts of wind in every direction. We were in the air now, both of us flying, locked in a deadly dance. The world around us blurred, the only thing that mattered was the next strike, the next move.
I fought with everything I had, each slash a burst of pure aura waves. The forest around us began to break apart as we clashed, our power splitting the very air. The trees splintered, the ground cracked beneath us, and yet Master remained composed, his movements as fluid as water.
I launched a wind whirlpool cutter at him, but he countered with a massive water spell¡ªa torrent of water compressed into a sphere, hurtling toward me. The two magic attacks collided with a force that rattled the very atmosphere.
Boom!
I didn''t stop. I couldn''t. With lightning magic, I pushed myself faster, making an ice gauntlet form around my hand. I soared toward Master, intent on landing a blow. But he, too, responded¡ªhis own earth gauntlet crashing toward me.
Bang!
The clash sent shockwaves through the air, so powerful that it was felt even in the distant capital city. The ground beneath us cracked, the sky darkened, and for a brief moment, it seemed as if the world itself was caught in the crossfire.
We were both breathless, but the battle was far from over. With a roar, Master flew toward me, launching a devastating blue flame blast. I responded with a flurry of ice bullets, but I made a fatal error. The blue flames vaporized the ice upon contact, creating a cloud of mist between us.
I felt his presence before I saw him. Master appeared behind me, his sword descending with a brutal, decisive strike. I barely managed to block, my sword meeting his with a clash that rang through the sky.
Cyteric Body''s time was running out.
I had one last chance.
I broke away, creating distance between us just as my time was almost up. My heart raced in my chest, my breath coming in ragged gasps. I needed to end this.
With my remaining strength, I launched myself into the air. "I''m not done yet, old man," I called, voice strained.
Master''s eyes gleamed. "Don''t push yourself beyond your limits, brat."
I shook my head. "I''ll take whatever comes."
And with that, I drew on the last power I had left.
I invoked Celestial Transmute.
CELESTIAL TRANSMUTE
As I invoked the Celestial Transmute, a surge of energy raced down my spine, jolting my body into overdrive. My eyes glowed amethyst, and my hair, once a deep black, turned a brilliant, bloody crimson. Purple markings began to crawl up my arms and legs in intricate, arcane patterns, glowing faintly with an unnatural light. A strange sensation ran through these lines, like electricity crackling beneath my skin, but the pain I expected never came. It was as though something had shifted within me, making me both more and less human at the same time.
The master, seeing my transformation, gave a slight nod, recognizing the power now coursing through me. But before he could even speak, I was already moving¡ªmy body a blur of speed and precision. I had unlocked the ability to move at twice the speed of sound.
I shot forward, the air whipping around me, my sword raised high as I clashed against the master in the air. Our blades met with a thunderous sound, and the ground beneath us trembled from the force. Sparks flew with each strike, the air thick with the clash of metal on metal. The master was faster than I had ever imagined, his sword dancing in a way that seemed to predict my every move. Yet, now I was faster, pushing him to unlock some more moves. Each strike from my sword sent shockwaves through the air, crumbling the earth beneath us.
The master parried one of my blows and spun, sending a horizontal slash toward me. I barely dodged, feeling the wind from his blade whip past my face. But I didn''t slow down. I launched myself at him again, faster than before, twisting in mid-air to strike at his side. He raised his sword just in time to block, but my speed was relentless. Our swords locked, both of us pushing with all our might.
The ground beneath us cracked and split as we exchanged blows. I summoned the wind to form a vortex, swirling it around me as I summoned blue flames into the vortex, creating a storm of burning energy. The flames were so intense that they set the trees around us ablaze. With a single thought, I hurled the vortex of fire at the master.
He grinned, acknowledging my power, and formed a water vortex with a wave of his sword. The water spiraled toward my flames, colliding in a massive explosion. The trees around us were instantly reduced to ash, and the shockwave sent us both flying backward. The sky itself seemed to tremble with the force of the blast.
"Boom!" The master shouted, his voice full of challenge. "It''s over now, brat."
But I wasn''t finished. With a smirk, I called upon the source, gathering the energy from the world around me. My focus sharpened, and I began pulling leaves from the trees surrounding us. I infused each leaf with the same speed I had learned to control, spinning them at such a velocity that they could cut through solid wood.
The master''s eyes widened. He tried to block my attack, raising his sword in a sweeping motion to deflect the deadly barrage of leaves. But I didn''t give him a chance to retaliate. With each flick of my wrist, more leaves spun from the trees, raining down on him like a storm. The air hummed with energy as he blocked and parried, his sword flashing through the air.
But after he deflected the last of the leaves, I saw it¡ªa tiny cut on his shoulder. It was insignificant, barely noticeable, but it was there. A faint crimson stain began to spread across his robes, the first injury he had sustained in this battle.

I smirked inwardly, feeling a rush of pride. After all that, I only managed a scratch...
Suddenly, a wave of pain washed over me. It felt as though every nerve in my body was being torn apart from the inside. I could barely breathe as the strain of the Celestial Transmute hit me all at once. My vision blurred, and my eyelids grew heavy. The world around me spun, and I collapsed to the ground, unconscious.
I woke to find the sun high in the sky. I was lying on the ground, the earth cracked and torn from our battle. I turned my head, groaning from the pain that still pulsed through my body. The master was sitting calmly nearby, cooking a meal over a small fire, as if nothing had happened. I tried to sit up, but the agony in my spine made it impossible.
"Master¡ what happened?" I croaked, my voice weak. "Why are you cooking outside?"
He glanced over and raised an eyebrow. "Ah, you''re awake. The house was destroyed during our sparring, so we''ll be staying here tonight."
I let out a sigh. "Is that so¡"
The master eyed me with a mixture of concern and amusement. "I didn''t teach you to control the source like that. I only showed you how to open a teleportation portal. How did you manage to do what you did today?"
I smiled faintly, still a little proud of myself. "I watched you practice with the source. One day, when you weren''t looking, I tried it for myself. That''s when I saw how you controlled the source around us. I was able to see you controlling the source because I was practicing to control the Celestial Transmute. I forgot to tell you at that time but when I use the Celestial Transmute I was able to see the source around like the red glowing light."
The master raised an eyebrow. "But even so, controlling the source like that should have taken months of practice. How did you manage to do it so quickly?"
"I reversed the theory of mana control and source control that you taught me for the making teleportation portal. I applied it during our sparring today," I explained, my voice steady despite the lingering pain.
He chuckled. "That''s impressive. Most people would need months to achieve what you did. But don''t let that get to your head."
I grinned weakly. "I''m a genius, after all. You said so yourself."
He shook his head, chuckling again. "Don''t get cocky, brat."
I winced in pain, trying to sit up. "How could I be cocky? After all that, I barely managed a scratch on you. And now look at me¡ªI can''t even sit."
He patted me on the shoulder. "It''s an accomplishment, brat. Your body is still growing. You''ll get there eventually."
I turned my gaze to Aurora, who was sleeping nearby. "Where''s Aurora?" I asked softly.
"She was worried about you," the master replied. "She cried when she saw you unconscious."
I watched her sleep, a faint smile on my lips. Despite the pain, I felt a warmth in my chest. Then, I winced as I tried to move again, but I endured it, pulling Aurora gently into my lap and patting her back. She stirred and jumped onto my shoulder, speaking into my mind.
''Papa, you''re awake! Why did you fell like that? And why do you have wounds all over your body?''
I grinned weakly. "I told you I was sparring with Master. That''s why."
Aurora fell silent, her worry lingering in her eyes before she drifted back to sleep.
The master spoke again, "After you fell unconscious, I tried to put your sword back in its scabbard, but it wouldn''t fit." Then he gave me the sword and scabbard, I infused a little mana into both, and placed the sword back. But the armor remained on my body."
I nodded, curious. "What''s going on with this armor?"
The master eyed me carefully. "I recognize this type of armor. It''s the kind used by the gods in battle. Focus on your body, and it will transform into a mark, like a storage mark."
Concentrating, I focused on my body. Slowly, the armor began to vanish, transforming into a thin mark in the shape of a sword just above my wrist. It was small, barely noticeable compared to the storage mark, but I could feel the weight of its power.
WAY TO CAPITAL
At last, after four and a half years, I am finally going to meet my Mom and Dad again. The excitement I felt was overwhelming. I had missed them both so much during these years, and now, finally, I was on my way to reunite with them. ''I''m coming, Mom and Dad. I''ve missed you both,'' I thought to myself.
Master, noticing the smile on my face, looked at me with a grin. "You''re very happy today," he remarked, his tone teasing yet understanding.
"Yeah, I am," I replied, my voice filled with joy.
With that, the master raised his hand, moving it in a circular motion through the air. As he did, a thin, shimmering circle began to form. I knew what this was: a transportation gate. I watched closely, the memories of how to create one flooding my mind. To make such a gate, you had to draw on the mana that surrounded us, infuse it with your thoughts, and then focus on a clear mental image of the place you wanted to reach. You had to concentrate intensely while drawing the circle; if even the smallest mistake was made, the gate could open somewhere else entirely.
The process was difficult, and the risks of failure were high. But once perfected, it would be an invaluable skill, especially in combat. ''It''s complicated and tough to use,'' I thought to myself, ''but it will give me an advantage in the future.''
The master''s voice broke through my thoughts, "Why are you just standing there? Come on, let''s go."
Aurora, who had been perched contentedly on my head, added eagerly in my mind, ''Yes, let''s go! I want to meet your parents too!''
I chuckled softly, "Yeah, yeah, we''re going. Just be a little patient, Aur."
We stepped into the portal together, and I couldn''t help but feel a sense of anticipation surge through me as the swirling energy enveloped us. This was it¡ªI was finally on my way home.
Master said, "We are in the back alley of the capital."
[YUNA KRATER]
It had been four long years since Rayon had disappeared from the forest. I still remember the day we opened our eyes after everything had happened, only to find that Rayon was gone. The beast was nowhere to be found, and neither was our son. His Dad went mad with grief as soon as he regained consciousness. We were all injured, but the pain of losing him was far worse.
Rayon''s Dad was ready to venture deep into the forest in search of him, but our party members intervened. They insisted we leave the cursed forest, arguing that continuing our search would only lead to more pain and death. We were powerless. Our son was gone, and we couldn''t protect him.
After coming to the capital Liam tries her best to make us a little calm but the tears won''t stop from our eyes. How could we be? We were the parents who weren''t able to protect their beloved son. We even cursed ourselves to not be able to protect him.
We cursed the beast that took him, but that didn''t bring him back. Rayon''s Dad was consumed with anger and despair. He threw himself into training with a single-minded focus, determined to grow stronger, go back into the forest, and find our son, no matter what it took.
A case of content theft: this narrative is not rightfully on Amazon; if you spot it, report the violation.
I, too, began training. I focused on mastering my magic, combining the earth element with the water element, and my core became a light orange. Though it was a powerful core, it was still not enough to confront the dangers of the forest. Rayon''s Dad, on the other hand, became a solid yellow core, gaining control over a high-ranking aura, but even that wasn''t enough to face the forest''s depths.
Day and night, he trained, relentlessly pushing himself. But despite all his efforts, we still couldn''t shake the belief that Rayon was out there somewhere, still alive. Neither of us could accept the idea that he was gone. Our hearts refused to believe it.
During this time, I gave birth to a daughter, Elvina. She is now two years old. Unlike Rayon, Elvina is just like any other child her age¡ªbright, energetic, and innocent.
I often find myself wondering if she''ll ever know her brother. I can''t bear to tell her about him yet, not until we''re certain.
We were now at the Liam Manor, as he had said. From now on, we were supposed to stay here. Rayon''s Dad had already started his new role as an assistant instructor for the capital guard. Life seemed to settle into a routine, though the weight of our past still lingered in the background, haunting us.
I was sitting on the balcony of the manor, trying to feed Elvina her meal. She was in one of her stubborn moods, refusing to eat no matter what I tried. I sighed, gently but firmly guiding the spoon toward her mouth. "Come on, Elvina, you have to eat," I urged, though she continued to turn her face away, making my task all the more difficult.
Just as I was about to try again, a guard came running through the door. His face was flushed with urgency. "Ma''am," he said, catching his breath, "A young man named Agius, along with an eight-year-old child, are outside arguing to come inside. The young man is claiming to be your son and says his name is... ''Rayon Krator.''"
I froze. The world seemed to blur around me. My heart raced, and I couldn''t suppress the sudden rush of emotions that flooded over me. Rayon? Was this possible? After all these years, could it really be him?
Before I could even gather my thoughts, I saw Elvina spot the opening and start running toward the manor''s gate. My heart skipped a beat. She was too young to fully understand, but somehow, in her innocent way, she seemed to sense the weight of the moment.
Tears began to well in my eyes, blurring my vision as they quickly started streaming down my cheeks. I wiped them away with the back of my hand, but there was no stopping them. It wasn''t sorrow that filled my eyes¡ªit was something far more overwhelming, something more beautiful. These were tears of joy, tears of hope, tears of relief. Could it truly be him? My son, the one I had lost so many years ago?
Without thinking, I bolted from the manor, my feet pounding the ground as I ran toward the gate. The wind whipped through my hair, but nothing could slow me down. I needed to see for myself, to know for sure. I couldn''t wait another moment.
As I reached the gate, I saw them. A young man, likely in his twenties. And standing beside him was a boy, no older than eight, standing there, looking every bit the grown-up, yet something about him was unmistakably familiar. His features¡ªsharp, confident, and yet gentle¡ªreminded me so much of Rayon who seemed to be the spitting image of Rayon from when he was younger. My heart tightened at the sight.
There was something else too, something strange yet familiar. Sitting on the boy''s black, shining hair reaching to his shoulders, a small creature¡ªno, a little beast¡ªwas perched. Its dark fur and crimson eyes glimmered in the light, and two delicate, wing-like structures sprouted from its back. It looked almost like a tiny kitten, yet so much more. The wings seemed to flutter slightly, giving the creature an air of quiet mystery.
It was a vision I could never have imagined, yet somehow, everything about it felt right. The beast on the boy''s shoulder seemed to fit into the picture as if it had always belonged there, a part of him.
My breath caught in my chest. I took a step forward, unable to believe what my eyes were seeing. I reached out, trembling slightly, but there was no denying it¡ªthe young man, despite the years that had passed, had the same eyes, the same presence that had once been so familiar to me. This was my son. This was Rayon.
"Rayon?" I whispered, my voice breaking with emotion, a mixture of joy and disbelief.
Chapter-20 ; REUNION
[RAYON KRATOR]
After a long search, we finally stood before Liam''s uncle''s manor, its towering presence looming over us. My master, Aurora, and I had arrived at the entrance, and I couldn''t help but feel a sense of unease as I glanced at the grand structure.
I turned to my master, who looked calm yet visibly on edge. Aurora, ever watchful, was silent by my side, her eyes scanning the surroundings. We were greeted by three guards standing tall at the gate, their posture rigid. There was no warmth in their eyes as they estimated us, but I didn''t expect any.
We tried to explain who we were, but they refused to listen. I even mentioned my name, saying that I was Yuna Krater''s son, but they just shook their heads, uninterested. Their unwavering refusal began to grate on my nerves. I could feel my patience slipping.
"Let us through," I demanded, my voice rising. The guards remained unmoved, their stern gazes unwavering.
I felt my master''s presence shift beside me. He had been patient, but I knew his temper could only be held back for so long. The air around us grew thick, an unseen weight pressing down on the guards as Master''s aura began to intensify. One of the guards staggered, his eyes wide in shock, before he collapsed to the ground, unconscious. The remaining two guards tensed, but before they could react, one of them quickly turned and hurried toward the manor.
"That should be enough," my master murmured, his voice calm but firm.
But I wasn''t looking at the guards anymore. Out of the corner of my eye, I noticed something strange. A small figure was darting toward us, running as fast as her little legs could carry her. She was barely two or three years old, her tiny feet kicking up dust as she made her way to the gate. Her black hair bounced with each step, and her large, Amber eyes were filled with innocence and curiosity. She stopped right in front of me, her gaze fixed on me. For a moment, everything around me seemed to fade.
"Wo aer you?" she asked in a soft, almost timid voice, her small hands clasped in front of her.
I blinked in surprise, momentarily taken aback. I opened my mouth to respond, but before I could say anything, a sudden wave of emotion washed over me.
I turned and saw her¡ªa figure I had expected to see. My Mom.
She was running toward me, her steps frantic as tears streamed down her face. It was almost as if time had stopped. The world around me faded, and all I could focus on was her. My heart raced, and before I could process anything, she reached me, collapsing in front of me.
"Son... it''s really you, isn''t it?" Her voice cracked, filled with disbelief. "It should be you. There''s no one else who can be."
Her words hit me like a blow to the chest, and I couldn''t hold back the tears anymore. They fell, unbidden, streaming down my face. I had waited so long for this moment, but now that it was happening, it felt almost too much to bear.
If you discover this tale on Amazon, be aware that it has been unlawfully taken from Royal Road. Please report it.
"Yeah, Mom... It''s me. It''s me, your son... Rayon Krator," I managed to choke out, my voice barely a whisper.
She looked up at me, her eyes searching my face, as if she needed to make sure this was real. And then, without another word, she threw her arms around me, holding me tightly as though afraid I might disappear. Her tears soaked into my shirt, but I didn''t care. I wrapped my arms around her, holding her just as tightly. In that moment, nothing else mattered. The world outside the gates of the manor, the years of silence, of uncertainty, all of it faded into the background.
"It''s really you, my son. You''re alive," she whispered, her voice trembling with emotion. "You came back."
"Yeah, Mom... yeah, it''s me," I whispered back, my voice thick with emotion. My own tears flowed freely now, and I could feel them soaking into her shoulders as I held her close.
The reunion felt surreal, like something I had dreamed of for so long. We had been apart for so long, and yet here we were. After all the trials and suffering, I was finally home.
We stayed like that for a while, just holding each other. It felt like time stood still. The only thing that mattered was this moment. When I was finally back where I belonged.
After a long while, she pulled away, her eyes still glistening with tears. She looked at me, her face soft with a mixture of joy and relief. Then, as if remembering something, she turned toward the little girl who had approached us earlier.
"He is your big brother, Elvina," my Mom said, her voice breaking the silence.
I froze. My eyes widened as I looked down at the small child standing before me. She was no older than three, her large amber eyes staring up at me with innocent curiosity. There was something about her that struck me¡ªsomething familiar. But I couldn''t quite place it.
My familiar''s voice echoed in my mind, a soft whisper: ''Introduce me too to them.''
Elvina blinked, her gaze flicking between me and my Mom. Then, she gave a small, shy wave and said in a soft voice, "Hi is my borther."
My heart clenched. This little girl, this stranger who was somehow tied to me, was my sister. The words were simple, but the weight they carried hit me hard.
"Yeah," I said, smiling down at her, "I''m your big brother."
She smiled shyly, her small hands fiddling with the hem of her dress. "Hii, bg borther," she said, her voice soft and sweet.
I knelt down slowly, bringing myself to her level, and smiled at her. "Hey there, little one."
It was strange, looking at her. She had the same eyes as my Mom, the same innocence. And yet, she was a stranger to me. My sister, someone I had never met before, someone who had lived an entire life without me.
Before I could say anything more, my Mom turned toward the guard who had been standing by, watching us with a concerned expression. Her voice was shaky but determined.
"Go and tell Robert that his son has returned."
The guard nodded quickly and disappeared through the gate, no doubt on his way to fetch my Dad.
My Mom, with a soft smile on her face, motioned for me to follow her inside. "Come."
I followed her inside, with my master walking quietly behind us. His face was a mixture of emotions, his grin barely hiding the pride and joy he must have been feeling for me. We entered a grand hall, the scent of wood filling the air, the echoes of our footsteps making it feel like the walls themselves were alive.
We reached the room where we would sit, the door burst open, and there stood my Dad. His face was streaked with tears, his expression one of disbelief and relief. He ran toward me, arms open wide, and without a second''s hesitation, he embraced me.
"Son..." His voice broke as he held me, his body trembling.
And then, in unison, my Mom and Dad both said, "Welcome home, son."
I closed my eyes for a moment, letting their voices sink in, the weight of the reunion pressing down on me. My voice cracked as I replied, "It''s good to be back home."
Chapter-21 ; AT HOME
I closed my eyes for a moment, letting their voices sink in, the weight of the reunion pressing down on me. My voice cracked as I replied, "It''s good to be back home."
We settled into the settee, a sense of familiarity and comfort returning. Elvina and Master sat in front of us, while my familiar moved toward Master.
She looked at me, her face filled with concern, and asked gently, "Can you tell me what happened?"
I took a deep breath, steadying myself before speaking. "When you were all unconscious, a beast came toward me. It grabbed me and took me deep into the forest, moving with incredible speed. After an hour, it finally stopped near its children."
As I spoke, I caught a glimpse of Master''s face¡ªcalm, impassive, but attentive, listening carefully to every word, just as my parents were.
I continued, "Then, out of nowhere, a man appeared and killed the beast with a single strike of his sword."
Master''s lips curled into a small smirk at that, though he said nothing.
I pressed on, "He told me to become his apprentice and live with him for five years. I wanted to contact you both, to let you know I was alive and safe, but there was no way to reach you. Still, Master showed me through magic that you and the others had made it out of the forest. I asked him to let me meet with you, but he refused. He feared I might become too emotionally attached and turn down the chance to grow stronger."
Mom and Dad stood, stepping closer to Master, gratitude in their eyes. "Thank you. Thank you for saving our child. We are forever in your debt," they said.
Master gave a slight nod. "I merely did what anyone would have done in that moment. Your child shows immense potential, so I made him my student. It''s a duty to meet the parents of such a remarkable young one. But there are great challenges ahead, and he must grow stronger."
Without asking further questions, Mom and Dad returned to their seats. Mom, her brow furrowed in curiosity, asked, "What is this little beast?"
I smiled at the familiar perched on my shoulder. "I found an egg near the beast''s children. I took it and cared for it until it hatched. Her name is Aurora. She''s my familiar, and we can communicate inside our minds."
Their eyes widened in disbelief. Dad, ever the skeptic, asked, "But I''ve heard that people can only use the power of their familiars. How can you speak to hers?"
"I don''t know," I admitted. "When Aurora hatched, I imbued some mana into her to bond with her, and that''s when this mark appeared on my palm. Suddenly, she started speaking to me in my mind."

They were stunned, trying to make sense of it all. Dad was the first to speak, his voice full of wonder. "You said you''ve been training. Tell me, how have you progressed?"
Mom, her face full of concern, added softly, "Dear, he''s only just returned from near death. Can you be patient?"
I smiled reassuringly. "It''s alright, Mom. It''s time I told you both everything. After all, I was planning to share it with you both soon anyway."
I gave them a proud grin, my voice carrying a touch of pride. "I''ve reached the Dark Orange stage in my mana core, though I''m still not sure about controlling my aura."
Dad''s eyes lit up with pride. "Brilliant, my boy. You''ve clearly been training hard with your master."
Just then, a polite cough interrupted us. "I''m sorry to intrude, but I overheard that your son is alive and has returned."
Mom and Dad both turned, smiling warmly. "Ah, Liam," Mom said, recognizing the voice.
Liam nodded with a grin. "I''ve heard of your accomplishments, Rayon. Reaching the Dark Orange stage at your age is no small feat. Remarkable."
He glanced toward the door, then added, "My wife and two children are outside and would like to meet someone as extraordinary as you. May they come in?"
Aurora hopped up on my shoulder, and I nodded in acknowledgment. We stood as Liam led his family into the room.
A woman, about mother age, with vibrant green eyes and matching green hair, entered first. Behind her, a younger girl, smaller than me, with black hair just like his Dad and green eyes, followed closely, her face full of curiosity. A boy, my age, with the same physical appearance walked in behind them, his expression unreadable. The woman smiled warmly as she introduced herself.
"My name is Canya Carnet. These are my children¡ªCasia Ronhard, my younger daughter, and Calvin Ronhard, my son." She gave them both a playful pat and said, "I hope you all become good friends."
I returned the introduction with a smile. "Nice to meet you. I''m Rayon Krater, son of Yuna and Albert Krater. This is my familiar, Aurora and the man standing next to me is my master, Agious."
Liam chuckled softly. "Ah, so this is your master."
I nodded. "Yes, he''s the one who saved me in the forest."
Liam looked at Master with newfound respect. "So, I take it your master will be staying here?"
I nodded again. "Yes, I''d like to discuss it with you. He''ll be staying with me for my training."
Liam paused, considering the matter. "Of course, but there''s something else. I''ve heard much about your skills. My daughter is seven and has already formed her mana core. My son is eight, and he did the same by age seven. I was wondering... could your master train them as well?"
Master turned to me, seeking my opinion. I gave him a subtle nod, signaling my agreement.
He smiled, bowing his head slightly. "Of course, it would be an honor. But there is one condition. I''ll only be staying for six months so...."
Liam nodded, understanding. "That''s fine. But if you don''t mind, I''d like to spar with you first. I need to know for sure that I''m choosing the right master for my children."
Master chuckled softly. "Ah, doubt, is it? Very well. I have no problem with that but do spar with my student for your satisfaction. Let''s see if I can prove my worth to you by this."
Liam looked at me with wide eyes and there was a surprising reaction on his face. After some moment he said, "Rayon, would you mind sparring with me?"
I smiled. "Of course, let''s get this over with."
Master called me and whispered in my ear, "Don''t use goddess power or familiar."
I said, "Yeah, I know."
We both moved to the training field, our families gathering around to watch. Master''s voice cut through the air, calm and authoritative. "Begin!"
And just like that, the match began.
Chapter - 22; AGAINST SWORDMASTER
As we all gathered at the training ground, I couldn¡¯t help but notice how vast it was. The square-shaped ground stretched nearly two hundred and fifty meters on each side, surrounded by high barriers that separated us from the rest of the world. Master stood there, as calm as ever, his gaze steady as he observed me. I was nervous, but I wouldn¡¯t admit it.
Master turned to Liam with a calm voice. ¡°I want to talk with Rayon for a minute, can I?¡±
Liam grinned, clearly expecting something odd. ¡°Yes, and please make him wear armor too.¡±
Master nodded with a mysterious smile. ¡°He has a special armor in his hand. So, don¡¯t worry about anything.¡±
Liam raised an eyebrow. ¡°What kind of armor?¡±
Master¡¯s expression didn¡¯t change. ¡°He got that by making his familiar. I and Rayon both don¡¯t know about it very well.¡±
I glanced at Master, silently amazed by how easily he wove a lie. His straight face made it sound so believable.
I thought, ¡®What a perfect lie with no hint of hesitation. He¡¯s got me beat, even in deception.¡¯
As Master motioned for me to follow him, I entered the manor, away. Inside, it was quiet and still. The air felt different here¡ªmore intimate like the whole world had been shut out.
Master lowered his voice. ¡°You can only use all four elements and ice.¡±
I blinked, unsure if I had heard correctly. ¡°But... I¡¯m not confident in ice magic,¡± I protested, a bit frustrated. ¡°You know that already. My ice magic is the weakest of all.¡±
Master chuckled softly, a knowing grin on his face. ¡°That¡¯s exactly why I¡¯m saying it.¡± He leaned in a little closer, his voice becoming more serious. ¡°Ice can slow down even the fastest of opponents. You¡¯ll need to master it to control the pace of the fight. You don¡¯t need to be perfect, just effective.¡±
I frowned, still unsure. ¡°But Liam¡¯s a swordmaster. Not just that¡ªhe¡¯s a magic swordmaster with a light yellow stage mana core. What chance do I stand against that?¡±
Master¡¯s expression hardened slightly. ¡°Don¡¯t make excuses, brat. Your core stores double the amount of mana compared to people. Your core is par at near light yellow stage level, and as for aura... you¡¯ve mastered high-level aura control. You¡¯re stronger than you give yourself credit for.¡±
I shifted uncomfortably, feeling the weight of his words. ¡®I know I have a lot of mana, but I¡¯ve never felt like it¡¯s enough. Not compared to Liam.¡¯ The thought gnawed at me, but I swallowed it down.
Master''s grin returned. ¡°You don¡¯t have to win, Rayon. You only need to show your capabilities. The surprise is what will make the difference.¡± He put a hand on my shoulder. ¡°Go and show them something they won¡¯t forget.¡±
I rolled my eyes and smirked, the playful frustration clear in my voice. ¡°Yeah, you¡¯re here to speak clear lies for me with that straight face of yours.¡±
Master chuckled, the sound echoing in the silence. I said ¡°Old man.¡± He laughed again, clearly amused by my teasing.
With that, we returned to the training ground. As we neared the center of the square, Liam approached with a wooden sword in hand. He handed it to me, and I nodded, preparing myself for the inevitable clash. He too held a wooden sword, his posture relaxed but ready, like a lion waiting to pounce.
On the sidelines, my family had gathered to watch. My Mom, Dad, Elvina, and Liam¡¯s family were all present, standing together, watching with varying degrees of concern and curiosity. My Mom stepped forward and addressed Master.
¡°Isn¡¯t this too much for Rayon?¡± she asked, her voice laced with worry. ¡°Liam is one of the fifteen magic swordmasters in the country, and Rayon is just a little child.¡±

Master¡¯s smile never faltered. ¡°Ma¡¯am, don¡¯t worry about your son. He¡¯s much stronger than you imagine.¡± His confidence in me caught me off guard.
Liam, sensing my Mom¡¯s concern, looked over at me with a grin. ¡°Don¡¯t worry. I¡¯ll go easy on him.¡±
Master laughed heartily. ¡°Ha! Ha! Please, not too easy.¡± His voice carried a teasing edge, and I couldn''t help but roll my eyes.
Liam¡¯s smirk grew wider, clearly eager for the match to begin. I stepped into position, my hand tightly gripping the sword. A slight trembling ran through me, but I wasn¡¯t going to show it. ¡®I¡¯ve got this. I¡¯ve got to prove it to myself. To everyone.¡¯
As I imbued a little mana into the sword mark, the familiar sensation of my armor began to form. It wasn¡¯t just any armor¡ªit was something far more intricate. A black, dragon-scale-like material with crimson lines began to weave itself around my body, starting from the sword mark on my skin and spreading outward. The air seemed to shift with it.
Liam¡¯s eyes widened. ¡°What is that?¡±
I shrugged, playing it off as casually as I could. ¡°It¡¯s the armor Master mentioned earlier.¡±
Liam¡¯s eyes narrowed, more intrigued than before. ¡°But armor doesn¡¯t just protect you from cuts¡ªit¡¯s supposed to shield you from fatal injuries.¡± His voice held a note of disbelief. ¡°That¡¯s... something else.¡±
I grinned, feeling the growing heat of frustration from the uncertainty gnawing at me. ¡°Yeah, that¡¯s true. And this armor does exactly that.¡± I couldn¡¯t keep the edge out of my voice. ¡®I¡¯m not some helpless child. I don¡¯t need his pity.¡¯
Liam chuckled softly, shaking his head. ¡°You and your master are full of surprises, you know that?¡±
I wasn¡¯t sure if I liked the way he said that¡ªlike I was a curiosity, a thing to be studied. But I didn¡¯t have time to dwell on it.
We both took our stances, preparing for the first move. My stance was defensive, my body slightly hunched as I kept my sword at the ready. Liam, on the other hand, stood tall and confident, almost relaxed. He was waiting for me to make the first move, I knew it.
Master called out in a firm voice. ¡°Begin!¡±
At his command, we both rushed forward. The sound of our swords clashing echoed across the training ground. Clang!
The shockwave from our collision rippled outward, creating a wave of force that sent dust flying. I felt the weight of Liam¡¯s sword, the power of his magic-infused strikes. His aura surged like a wave, pushing against me. ¡®Focus! Don¡¯t let him overwhelm you!¡¯
Liam covered his body in an aura of flame, using the heat to augment his speed. He shot toward me like a missile, aiming to break through my defense. I gritted my teeth and quickly responded, forming a dozen ice arrows in the air and launching them straight at him. They sped toward him with precision, but Liam sliced through them as if they were nothing, his sword cutting through them like a hot knife through butter.
Frustration bubbled up inside me. ¡®Why isn¡¯t anything I do working?¡¯ I felt my pulse quicken, my heart pounding. He wasn¡¯t even taking me seriously. I couldn¡¯t let this happen. I couldn¡¯t let him think I was weak.
Drawing on the wind, I encased myself in a gust of air and launched myself at him, matching his speed. My sword met his once more with a resounding clang, the impact vibrating up my arm.
Then Liam made a gauntlet around this one hand and I also did the same. Then our gauntlet clashed toward each other.
Producing a large shockwave again.
Liam said, ¡°You sure are a lot to be called a kid aren¡¯t you.¡±
I bit back a retort. ¡® I¡¯m not weak, damn it.¡¯
We circled each other, my sword and his locking together again and again. The clash of metal rang out with aura wave, as we exchanged blow after blow.
Clang!
Clang!
Clang!
Clang!
In the last clash. We clashed with each other producing an enormous amount of the shockwave. The ground we were standing on started to crack like glass and Liam summoned earth armor around himself the thick stone-like plates forming on his body. But I wasn¡¯t about to let up.
I stepped back, my frustration reaching a boiling point. ¡®This isn¡¯t enough!¡¯
In one fluid motion, I called on the water, pulling it from the very air around us. My hand outstretched, I gathered the hydrogen and oxygen molecules, pulling them together to create a sphere of water. It hovered above my palm, ready to be launched. I compressed it, gathering more mana into the ball until it was dense and compact.
Liam, seeing what I was doing, summoned an earth wall in front of him. But it was too late.
I hurled the water ball with all my might. It shot forward, cutting through the air like a bullet, and slammed into the thick earth wall Liam had erected. The water burst through the wall with ease, shattering the stone like it was nothing. The ball of water crashed into his armor, splashing across the surface and forcing him back.
The ground beneath us cracked under the pressure, sending small tremors through the air. Master called out in a commanding tone. ¡°It¡¯s over!¡±
I stood there, my chest heaving with exertion. My frustration was still a fire in my chest. ¡®He was going easy on me.¡¯
I didn¡¯t feel the satisfaction of victory¡ªonly the bitter taste of having to struggle harder than I ever had before. I knew that Liam had held back, that he hadn¡¯t used his full power, but that didn¡¯t make me feel any less defeated.
Master¡¯s voice was gentle, but I could hear the pride in it. ¡°You did well, Rayon. You¡¯ve come a long way.¡± But I didn¡¯t want to listen it. Not yet.
¡®I still have a long way to go to be good enough.¡¯
