The world flourished, and there was peace; unfortunately, it did not last forever. The different species started to bicker or fight over small matters at first, but as they continued, it just got worse to the point of full-scale wars. Bloodshed and the screams of pain and agony were the only thing they seemed to agree on. Despair spread across the world. When the primordials saw what their offspring had done, they were disheartened and enraged. They pointed fingers at each other, and a new war was born from their growing hatred and spite this era was named the primordial blood era. Every 100 years, the primordials would fight, causing mass destruction and death to the world. This cycle continued for eons, until one day the primordials vanished, never to be seen again. The world did not know what had happened to them and simply thought they had just separated from this world from the disappointment that they felt from their descendents. Without the primordials, the world recovered and flourished the ground that had been stained in blood and smelt of death became green once more and life thrived from then on. The world continued in its progress without the fear of a war every 100 years and in ignorance of what truly caused the primordials to vanish as if they never existed. Tales of this are still told today but what comes next reveals the truth of the matter. The primordials had not simply vanished out of thin air; they had died. But how could extremely powerful beings that were immortal have just perished without a trace you may ask well of you look up at the night sky you will find your answer the stars. The stars had not existed before the primordial blood era it was the constant desires of the people at the time that created them however All of them were lifeless except one the first star in the sky that shone the brightest out of all of them. This star remained in the sky listening to the wishes and desires of the people sometimes they will be granted but sometimes they are not. All the beings in the world all had different wants but they also wanted the wars to stop and wished for this to be, so the star wanting to help did the only thing it could think of and that was to end the lives of the other primordials as they did not listen to reason. The star used all of it''s power to remove the souls of the primordials and destroy their bodies this did work however the star with nearly all of it''s power gone entered a long slumber but before it did, it used the energy of the other primordials to revive the world and some of it''s inhabitants giving them a fresh start and with it''s last bit of strength created an large island with a mountain which it rested on as it fell to the ground. Chapter 2: Island Trapped Astra POV So after I got of that mountain I made myself a goal to live my new life and adventure across the world but there''s one tiny problem with that plan that I didn''t anticipate, well actually three massive problems!!! In my mind Space I actually figured something out, in there I could freely move my mental body with a sort of telekinesis so maybe that could work on my real body. After a bit of practice using my mind to move my mental body I was now ready to try it on my body to see how it goes. I first started with feeling my whole body it''s kind of weird having this body actually, it''s like being asleep in a warm body of water just floating. After I had put my focus on every part of my body I started to try make it move in one direction. I tried this process over and over again for about twenty minutes until I finally heard what I wanted to hear. Skill Telekinesis(X) aquired. Yes! It worked now it should be much easier to control my body with this skill. As I activate my skill and focus it on my body I started to lift off the ground. Ok now I just need to move I in a direction so let''s explore this island and see if it has anything interesting to offer. As I move through the island I discovered something off about it, well for starters there is no life on this island no animals, insects, birds, even when I tried to look in the water but fish seemed to stay away from the island I''ll have to asked Grand Oracle about it later. Next thing is that the flora and fauna of the island seems artificial like they are not actual plants they are just made of energy. And lastly this island has a high energy density like there is so much energy leaking from it but it doesn''t seem to go anywhere. Well technically that''s a lie the energy turns into various things here like the aforementioned plants here. Now that I have explored the whole island which took me a few hours I have deducted that this island is about the size of a large city if you don''t include the huge mountain in the middle of course, so it''s actually about the size of two cities. I did find something interesting when exploring it was a cave on the base of the island and guess what it was filled to the brim with all kinds of gems and metals some were attached to the walls, ceiling, and the floor and some were just laying on the ground waiting for someone to just come and collect them. If only I had a spacial storage or something who knows how valuable all this stuff is. Well other than that cave there was nothing of interest on the island so I decided to do something else, mainly training my skills and such. Well after I realized that I did not have any attacking skills what so ever I decided to try and learn some by myself. First I tried just just trying to release energy from my body, yeah that didn''t work out how I thought it would it just increased my aura like crazy but I was able to withdraw it back inside me and that granted me the skill Aura Techniques(X) and I started experimenting with that a lot and ended up learning a few techniques Aura Break it allows me to cancel the auras of others, Aura Control allows me to full control my aura''s intensity and shape and finally Aura burst which releases my aura into a huge explosion but leaves me drained (surprisingly the island was not even damaged my that). I started levitating of the ground being careful not to wake the cub sleeping on me. Once I was out of the cave I see it is almost sunrise, better get out of here before they wake up. Pain, Repent, Truth, Betrayed, Manipulated, Mastermind. What truth were they talking about exactly? And mastermind of what? And who is they that must repent? Sunrise soon comes and all the nocturnal creatures go to slumber, the forest starts to brighten up by the sun and the rest of the forest creatures start to wake up. I see a mountain up ahead I''ll climb up to get a better view of the forest before deciding what to do next. ------------------------------------------------------------------ Location:The Forest of Abundance This forest of abundance is about the size of a country. There are multiple areas in the entire forest including: 1. Kyrial''s Spire: Snow-capped mountains inhabited by: ?Cryowraths- Wyverns that are used to the cold climates their scales are are covered in a layer of thick ice protecting them from physical attacks. They are quick to anger so it is best to avoid them. ?Luminous Tundramoths- Small, fluffy, white bioluminescent wingless moth like creatures the are only active at night. They lead lost adventures to safety in snow storms. Note they will surround your body creating a sort of coat which keeps out the cold. Each one is the size of a chick. ?Froststalkers- Wolf creatures that operate in packs and ambush unsuspecting prey. They use their white thick coats to camouflage themselves with their snowy surroundings. ?Glaciators- Large ice golems that are found all throughout the glacial peaks. They consume snow and ice to recover lost body parts. Note they usually don''t move they stay in one spot until a living being approached. Some may mistake them for ice statues at first glance. ?Frost Talons- Birds with icy wings and talons they fly silently through the cold frigid air. They can be used as scouts to scope out the area. 2. Valtoria''s Steppes: Grasslands home to: ?Flash Stingers- Large Carnivorous bee type monsters that flashes it''s opponents with bright lights stunning them, before it stings. It''s stings paralyze the opponent before if and it''s group eat the opponent alive. Note though you we''ll be paralyzed your body still feels immense pain. ?Dread Fangs- Large feline beasts that resemble saber tooth tigers. Dread fangs have an impressive bite force, able to bite through concrete and metal very easily. Note at least the death would be quick and painless. ?Tempest Wings- Large predatory birds that are able to cause destructive storms. In the panic they swoop down and snatch surprised prey of the ground to their nests. They operate as flocks so when you see one there will be more coming. Note run the hell away, when these birds are in the sky you know it''s time to die. ?Sun Sprinters- Gazelle like beast that are fast and agile. Their horns absorb solar energy which they store in their body as energy. Note due the solar energy they absorb their horns are hot to the touch. ?Terragons- Chimera beasts with goat horns, snake tails and lion bodies. They operate in prides and hunt during the day. They also control earth. Note their cubs are very curious but don''t get too close their mothers will chase you if they see you as a threat. 3. Aethon''s Depths : Vast network of underground crystal tunnels inhabited by: ?Subterranean Snatchers- Large burrowing mole creatures that drag their prey into the ground. They are blind so they rely on sounds and vibrations to hunt. ?Shade Dwellers- Shadow creatures that hide in the shadows of others. They can have symbiotic relationships with any beings protecting their hosts in exchange for food. Note befriending one can be very advantageous. ?Terrakai- Earth golems that can petrify their opponents with a touch of their hands. They are curious, naive beings that approach others with zero caution whatsoever. Note do not attack them as they will retaliate by petrifying you. ?Glimmerwings- Bat creatures with crystals growing on it''s body. They eat the crystals found in the caverns. Whole colonies of them live in the caverns. Note can produce extremely loud screams that will disorient or deafen enemies. ?Geo Drakes- Wingless earth dragons that have crystals for scales. They are scouts and are the smallest in the colony inorder to maximize stealth. +Kraelions: Razor-sharp mandibles and venomous stingers which they can launch at enemies. They are the protectors of their colony. +Provisioners: Specialized Abdomen for carrying and storing food to the colony. +Matriarchs: Largest Terranites, laying eggs and controlling colony growth. 4. Eldrida''s Sanctum: Dense, vibrant jungle inhabited by: ?Midnight Widow Queen- A large jet black arachnid with a strong venom. Her webbing is hard to break but easy to burn. She only stays in one spot commanding her army of children to do her bidding. Note if encountered just give up, there is no escaping her and her children. ?Nocternal Weavers- The children of the Midnight Widow Queen, they have a dark colouration and are only active at night. Watch out for their poison. They are also surprisingly fast, being able to outrun a cheetah. When they are unable to take down the enemy the Queen will get involved. ?Valorian Snappers- Plant monsters resembling a Venus flytrap, but way bigger and badder. They camouflage themselves with the ground and lay in wait for their prey, once the prey is in its vicinity it springs like a bear trap. Note it can also shot acid towards it''s pray if it somehow escapes, it also has multiple heads. ?Emeraldons- Snake creatures with shimmering iridescent scales. They are capable of growing and controlling plant life. Note despite them being serpents they are herbivores and are very docile. ?Barkhide Behemoths- Large tree bark skinned beasts with high defenses and impressive regenerative capablilites. Though they are hard to take down they are very slow ?Phonomorph- A large centipede insect that has a long, segmented body covered in vibrant, mottled green and brown scales. Its numerous legs are tipped with razor-sharp, venomous claws. This creatures is a master of camouflage and stealth. It has the ability to mimic sounds of anything such as other monsters, running river water, shacking bushes and even speech. Note it can also project it''s sounds making it seem as if it were coming from somewhere else. Note some very powerful individuals of this species are able to hypnotize others with their sounds. 5. Morvane''s Mire: Treacherous wetlands, swamps and bogs home to: ?Razorwing Terrors- Swarms of small venomous wasps with razor like wings, that causes serve bleeding. They surround their prey like a whirlwind of razors cutting their opponents to shreds. Note the venom on their wings cause wounds to heal slowly. ?Noxious Slithershocks- Electric eel creatures that use electricity and poison. Their bodies are coated in a poisonous membrane that is deadly to touch. Note they are surprisingly fast. ?Venomari- Panther like creatures with retractable venomous claws. They are excellent hunters and use the darkness as their camouflage they will stalk their prey until they let their guard down. ?Will-o''-Wisps- Mischievous fire sprites that lead adventures astray. They will lead them into traps or straight into predators. Note don''t follow them. ?Bloodthorn Wraiths- Sentient, spiked vines that trap and suffocate their prey. The thorns puncture into skin and drain the blood of their victims. 6. Lythoria''s Waters: Freshwater lakes and rivers inhabited by: ?Aquacores- Horse like creatures made entirely out of water. They can freely move in the water and merge with it as well. Note they can not go no land. ?Thermal Tide Rippers- Crocodile creatures that live mostly in hot springs but can be found in cooler water. They have adapted living in hot springs and can now freely change the temperature of their bodies which can go from freezing cold to scolding hot. Note if encountered leave any near body of water immediately their body temperature affects the temperature of they water are in killing their enemies by boiling them alive or freezing them to death. ?River Gliders- Otter like creatures that glide on the surface of lakes and rivers making them very fast and hard to catch. Their fur is covered in an oil that makes them water proof and very slippery. ?Lakaraptors- Fish that are similar to parana and travel in schools. They are quite friend unless provoked, they swarm around prey and eat them alive. Note they are very stupid at times they will eat rocks thinking it''s food. ?AquaBlooms- Plant creatures that can heal others they are also extremely friendly. They use their healing powers to cleanse the water of Wysteria that is why no poison creatures live around here. 7. Pyrope''s Forge: A volcanic region of intense heat, flames, and molten lava it is home to: ?Magma Drakes- Winged fire dragons that live in volcanos. They are solitary and barely come out of their homes. Their fire is hot enough to melt even the most flame resistant metals. ?Phoenix- Fire spirits resembling birds their majestic feathers burn anything they touch. They are loyal and can be very good partners. Note would not make one angry though they are immortal and petty. ?Ignifex- Fox beasts with fiery tails and calm attitudes. They are highly intelligent and can communicate through telepathy. They are prideful and view others as below them. ?Flamelashers- Frog creatures that spite fire and magma. They can be found swimming in lava pools lazing about they are fearless and even get close to Lava Dragons to which the lava dragons do nothing about. ?Pyropex- Fiery insects that swam around enemies. They give of intense heat to ward off predators from their hives. Note although dangerous the honey that they make is both tasty and heals burns. ?Lava Lurkers- Feline Predators that hunt in groups. They have sharp claws and fire resistant pelts. Note their claws are charged with fire energy making them hot. The forest is home to powerful beings and creatures. There is a high amount of energy surrounding it, making everything that grows here very potent whether it''s for toxins of for healing. Groups of strong beings are regularly sent here to collect rare materials. The outer areas of the forest are covered in dense trees making hard to get into the forest with out first cutting down a few of them. The high energy concentration in the forest, cause plants to grow rabidly especially on the outer areas. The beasts here are not to be treated lightly, a high number of them have strong venoms and poisons, mostly due to the poisonous plants that grow here being a staple diet for them or consuming prey that eat those plants. Purple(Toxic), Green(Plant), Orange(Earth), Red(Fire), White(Ice), Blue(Water) slimes are also very common here due to the toxins of beasts and plants, high plant growth, rich earth, fiery lands, icy areas, and wet environments. Despite the dangers of coming here raids are held pretty often by adventurers to explore, learn and collect valuable materials from the land and beasts. I climbed up here to get a good look at where I am so here''s what I know I''m in The Forest of Abundance specifically in Valtoria''s Steppes it''s mostly just a grassland although there is fare more variety of vegetation than a traditional grassland. Also this place is huge I guess G.O.D wasn''t joking when she said this forest was the size of a country. I can''t even see where Valtoria''s Steppes ends. I don''t even know where I should go from here as G.O.D is off doing her thing maybe I''ve just been a little too reliant on her if I''m being honest. This is my chance to gain independence! I am a full grown adult after all well technically my actual age is unknown, my body doesn''t physically age, I''m chronologically older than time, my soul is technically 2 years old and my mental age is kind of hard to figure out it''s like I''m a newborn who has experienced life but doesn''t remember it. Huh? Anyway I''ve got better things to do than worrying about how old I am for starters how to navigate this forest I wish I had a map or something or like a compass skill. Wait if I remember correctly in this world you gain skills through achievements, training, and experiencing or understanding something so theoretically speaking I could gain skills that are related to compasses and maps as long as I can figure out how to do that. Let''s start with the easy one for now a compass skill could be helpful although not as helpful as a mapping skill but I''ll take what I can get, so...compasses...how do they work again a screen of information shows up in my field of vision. ________________________________________ Compass: A compass is a tool used to determine direction. So magnetism how the hell am I supposed to sense magnetic fields. I was able to get sight and telekinesis by using my the energy my body is made of to sense and move myself so maybe I can use my energy combined with energy sense to possibly detect the electromagnetic fields around me? I don''t know I''m just throwing guesses here if this doesn''t work I don''t know what I''ll do. I turn on my energy sense skill and immediately I can sense something massive, large amounts of energy run through this forest in large veins beneath the earth. The amount of energy here is astronomical! I mean my island had about ten times this much energy but I''m a primordial so that makes sense, so why the fuck does this place have so much energy? And where is it even coming from? I ponder this for a little while, I don''t have time to think about that right now I have to focus on getting this compass skill. I return to what I was doing earlier I shift my focus from the ground to the sky. I sense multiple traces of energy in the air one seems to flow like liquid and has a bit of weight to it I''m guessing this is energy radiated by the water vapor in the air. The next energy moves elegantly through the sky, it''s light but also fast this must be the energy from the wind. The third energy I sense is sharp, it''s fast like the wind however it''s spiky I don''t really know how to describe it but I''m guessing this is the energy from the electricity in the air there must be a thunderstorm coming cuz there''s a significant amount of it. I''m looking for electromagnetic energy not electric energy I don''t really know what''s the difference but I have to keep on trying. I try again but this time putting all of my focus into it I have to dig deeper try harder this time a block out all of my other senses focusing solely on trying to sense the electromagnetic energy in the sky. Minutes go by with me just repeating the same thing this is going nowhere. I try to picture the magnetic field as a pulling or pushing sensation I think that will help possibly? Maybe? A massive wave of energy swept trough the forest passing through trees and beings alike when they came in contact with this energy they felt lost, enraged, sad, confused, tired these emotions did not belong to them however they still felt them none the less. It was as if the energy it''s self was infused with the emotions of someone else, who this being was they did not know but what they did know was that it was best to avoid such a being at all cost. A beast is most dangerous when it is wounded and afraid as the saying goes. However it was not only the inhabitants of the forest of abundance that felt this, outside the forest the energy could still be felt albeit to a lesser extent. This also spread to a particular group of beings that were stationed right outside the forest. It was a camp however this camp was divided into two with one side filled with machinery and equipment which were run by beings in lab coats presumably scientist and the other side was filled with what looked to be training equipment with soldiers using different methods to attack what seemed to be earth golems using different methods such as magic, long and short ranged weapons and some even using their fists or legs. Over at the research lab the one in charge a Valkyrie women with violet hair and sky blues eyes her silver wings reflecting the light in the room. She seemed to be discussing a matter with the other scientists in the room "The new set of potions should be ready for testing this time we used Cryowrath scales and Glaciator ice to improve the quality so it should finally work properly," she said as she looked through a pile of paper analysing the contents, "Oh and Lotera inform Kurogane that the raid will continue next week to gather more materials for experimentation." One of the scientists speaks up "Um Aetheria you had sent Lotera to check the surveillance room for anything wrong with the cameras," he finished as Aetheria sighed "Right I forgot this job can get so hectic that sometimes I simply forgot things, anywa-," she stopped speaking feeling an odd energy signature rush through her body it was something she had experienced multiple times however this time was different. The rest of the beings felt the same energy rush through their bodies however it seemed that they felt it to a more extreme extent as they were on their knees practically chocking on air. The weight of unfiltered, raw emotions was something they were not accustomed to Aetheria instead of giving any help to her subordinates simply looked out the window of the office and smiled. "How refreshing, it''s been quite some time since I last felt this kind of energy reminds of my childhood," she smiled as she reminisced on the past before being broken out of her daydreaming by the sound of loud foot steps the door was swung open roughly and standing there was an Oni he was tall and had a strong build "Do you know what knocking is Kurogane?" She asked him. "Knocking is for weaklings and commoners," the looked down at the still chocking scientist some of them having already passed out "And aren''t you going to do something about them?" He raised an eyebrow walking forward ignoring the scientists on the floor even stepping on some of them whether that was accidental or deliberate is up for debate. "Like I care, it''s not like their going to die from this plus are you going to do something about your soldiers who I assume are in the same situation?" She asked "Touch¨¦," he replied sitting on Aetheria''s desk ruining her paperwork and dropping other important documents to the floor "Step off bitch," she said kicking hard off the desk. "Oh fuck you hag! Can''t a guy sit down once in a while?" Aetheria glared at him "Not on my desk, now if you want to make yourself useful how about going to check on what is causing all of this because as long as I can remember there was only one being capable of transmitting their emotions though energy and that''s master." "Fuck no! That''s boring as hell you do it," Kurogane sits on a the desk again earning a groan from Aetheria"Fine I''ll go you just stay here and look after the camp and make sure everyone is safe." Kurogane sighs reluctantly standing up on his feet "Fine let''s both go then, I''m not looking after no little bitches," Aetheria smirks standing up as well spreading her wings "I knew you''d come around now let''s go I''ve already located the origin of the energy I''ll teleport us there immediately," she put a hand on his shoulder and both of them were fully surrounded in a bright light before they disappeared from sight.
