Forest Encounter
BEGINNING: Forest Encounter
It¡¯s dark out and you¡¯re carefully and quietly running through a forest so as not to be caught. You hear something crack behind you so you look behind yourself and see something unusual. It looks like a horse until you realize that it has a man''s torso where the head of the horse would be. You¡¯re stunned to see something so strange wandering in the forest. The creature dashes away. You¡¯re very interested in this creature but you know if you follow it you will be late to the emergency meeting called by your Agency¡¯s leader. You know that whatever caused him to call a meeting at this time of night must be extremely important.

A: You decide that the emergency meeting must be even more important than the strange creature and you run straight to the hidden hideout and join the meeting only mere minutes late.
¡°What kept you Agent 48?¡± asks your leader in a stern but kind voice.
¡°On my way here I came across a peculiar creature. It appeared to be one of those creatures in children''s books with the torso of a man with the body of a horse. I know it sounds strange but that¡¯s what I saw.¡± you testify and take your seat. Gasps fill the room.
¡°It¡¯s interesting that you should find that when that is what this meeting is all about. Agent 33 just got news of what appear to be centaurs gathering at a campsite. It was very heavily guarded so we don¡¯t yet know what is in there. Sadly the Agent, 56, who reported this was taken captive right after sending this information and we don¡¯t know where she or the campsite are.¡± he took a deep breath. ¡°Did you by any chance see which way the centaur went Agent 48?¡± he asked with a hopeful look.

You think about it and realize that you were caught so off guard that you didn¡¯t even think of which direction the creature went. If only you had followed the creature, you would be able to know where it went. ¡°No Sir.¡± you say in shame as the hope leaves your leaders eyes.
¡°Well I suppose we need to send out search parties. Agents 48,25,72,14,53,11, you will go North.¡± Your leader commands.
You and the other agents get ready as he finishes assigning people to groups and locations. All the groups head out. A little ways North your group finds a fork in the road. You know that the right leads deeper into the forest, whereas the left leads to an unknown area. Your group decides to split up and you end up going left with agents 25,and 11. The further you get down the path, the more you get the feeling to leave the path and go even further left. Your small group looks to you to make the decisions now.

Pursuit
B: You decide that you¡¯re never going to get a chance like this again, so you follow the centaur as carefully and quietly as you can, careful to not step on any twigs that could snap and give you away like in books and movies. You stop following him after you cross a bridge and he goes into a campsite. As you edge closer, you find that the camp is filled with centaurs, all heavily armed. Maybe I should leave, these guys look ready to start a war. Then again, what if I leave behind important information.
