《Intergalactic Being - The Perils Of Becoming An Intergalactic God.》 Ch 1 The Monologue Of An All Powerful Being. I would weep but I no longer have eyes. Though I can still feel the stars though it¡¯s forever shifting, forever spinning. The river of vast black once made me slack jawed and amazed is no longer beautiful to me, in fact it¡¯s now a prison I cannot escape from. I¡¯ve lost my hold on time. For I cannot tell how many years or even if a year has passed. Maybe it¡¯s been a century or millennium. Maybe earth has been consumed by the sun turning into a supernova. I won¡¯t know, because so much of time is based around the sun and I am no longer attached to a single sun. This is all exacerbated by the fact that I no longer age. time feels unreal. Should I even try to keep track of time anymore? It''s not like it matters. Where am I? I¡¯ve gone into the infinity of space at speeds far beyond light. I didn¡¯t think to go anywhere in particular or keep track of where I was; I was just lost in the bliss of how I could. But now where¡¯s earth? Where''s my planet? I don¡¯t know anymore. I''ve lost it in my speed and cannot find it anymore. No matter how far I look I can¡¯t find anything on these infinite planets they are all sterile devoid of life. Is this loneliness? As a human I always kept to myself but I had my family and we loved each other though when I gained the ability I left them without thinking of what I had lost. I went off planet and now I have nothing. I feel empty of emotions but still horrible somehow. I move towards a planet and put my ¡°hand¡± out. It fits right in the ¡°palm¡± of my ¡°hand¡± perfectly. They called it a gas giant I believe, astronomers do. I pull it out of orbit easily and admire it before crushing it in my hand. The gas bursts out as if I popped a balloon and I feel the harder core of the planet before throwing that into its sun. I watch as the planet''s orbits change slightly over as they pass the sun this must be over the course of days. Has my time been sped up? What am I? I can easily destroy a planet but I am yet to meet another being like myself. I read comics and learn about legends that feature beings like me. Am I some kind of celestial? Am I a god? Can I create? I think about creating a planet to replace the old one. I hold out my arm like appendage and purple light escapes it. That light becomes the planet. I touch it unlike the previous planet. It''s solid. Maybe I can do more with this? Dragging my ¡°finger¡± around the planet something escapes it, a purple light that spreads around and becomes a rocky existence that begins to travel around the area like a colony of ants. They''re so small but to a human they would be giant This tale has been unlawfully obtained from Royal Road. If you discover it on Amazon, kindly report it. This is it! if I cannot find life I¡¯ll create some. I experiment for a few rotations of this planet seeing if I could make a being that could speak. The planet rotates and I make more and more little beings. But sadly I cannot speak with them. Because they are all extensions of me.I hear their thoughts and see through their eyes. They are not separate beings. So I cannot talk to them, even with them I am alone. How did this happen? How did I become like this? I remember a dark night of a new moon. I remember a black and purple orb that called to me and a voice that rang in my ears. I felt dragged as if by a chain towards it. It asked me if I wanted power, if I wanted to be more than my ¡°kindred.¡± I thought how this could make me into something, how I might be powerful for once in my life I never had a single suspicious thought about the strange orb. So I of course said yes and watched as the orb sucked me in and turned me into this. It was not painful, it was tranquil. I felt at peace and as if I was more than; more than my body had changed. I looked down to see people looking up at me in horror. I thought it was cute. They were so small and terrified. I looked up and moved at speeds I never have ever felt before so of course I moved more into the nothingness of space forgetting to know where I am moving. Moving faster, than faster, and faster. Who am I? My name is Evren¡ What is my last name? No matter how hard I go through my head I cannot remember my last name. I cannot remember the faces of my family. I never had any friends. Who am I? I¡¯m a solitary soul who always kept to himself. I¡¯ve always loved to play with ants and other bugs. I love pizza. It''s basically the only thing I ate through college. I like reading isekai books and other types of fantasy. I failed college. I couldn''t write to save my life. I never was able to find my voice and never improved my writing. There was one assignment where the teacher told me to write a character unlike myself. I don''t remember what I did but the teacher looked at my assignment and asked if I even read it. Who am I? What am I? Why did this happen? Was I always meant to become this? Did the orb choose me or was it some twist of fate that made me become this? Do I belong here? Is this my new plain of existence as a celestial being? No, that cannot be right! With a flick of my tail I move through the universe .I''m so lonely! Why did I touch that orb? Why did that happen? Why did I? But then finally I see it in a solar system not so far away. I see it light on the dark side of a planet so faint I can barely see it but it¡¯s there. Is it fire? Maybe I just must see it, maybe I have found it, intelligent life. I travel the fastest I have ever traveled across the universe towards that planet. In the perfect place where it¡¯s not too hot, not too cold, surrounded by planets and two moons to stop meteorites, it¡¯s the perfect place for life, maybe just maybe. I approach it and I see them, a bunch of ants. Ch 2 Anointed By The Deities The supreme divine emperor of Treas sits regally on his throne and hears of the plunder. His armies had invaded the neighboring tribes of Fresui. And I as his noble adviser have the great honor of telling him about it. ¡°The Fresui armies are completely destroyed, all of their treasures are ours and now their peoples are at our mercy.¡± I say. The great Kes emperor shifts in the silver and cyan colored seat and speaks in a booming voice, ¡°Excellent,¡± he says. ¡°Now all we do must pray for forgiveness from Grea before slaughtering them all.¡± ¡°Of course.¡± I say ¡°shall we bring in the Grand Seer.¡± ¡°Yes, adviser Helha, bring me the Grand Seer.¡± he says to me. I leave the divine throne room past the massive silver and cyan doors. I look back at the king as the doors close and the king looks satisfied sitting on his throne knowing he has won. When the doors finally close I begin to look for the Grand Seer. but to no avail she should have been waiting outside the door as I instructed her so it¡¯s strange that see is not there. I ask a Fas maid servant ¡°where is the Grand Seer?¡± ¡°I believe she returned to her room.¡± said the Fas. ¡°She didn¡¯t seem to be acting normally.¡± ¡°That¡¯s no good.¡± I say the Grand Seer must be full of poise and beauty at all times; she must always be a symbol for the kingdom. She speaks with the gods so she must be divine in herself. She¡¯s a weapon for the state so acting on her own is no good at all. ¡°So she¡¯s in her room. I simply must grab her.¡± ¡°Of course.¡± says the maid servant. But as I leave I hear that servant say to another. ¡°I¡¯m so glad I¡¯m not the Grand Seer.¡± I walk towards the room of the Grand Seer. She lies past many statues of deities past ancient holy relics and past coffins of ancient kings all silver and cyan in color. As they are holy they are full of images of the most holy of beasts, great earth dragons and storm lions. But something is off, there''s a lack of holy people. This part of the palace is normally full of religious leaders and various types of holy people. They are supposed to keep track of the Grand Seer and instruct her on what to do but none are here. ¡°What is happening?¡± I say to myself. If you encounter this story on Amazon, note that it''s taken without permission from the author. Report it. I soon reach the room of the Grand Seer. Her doors are of course silver and cyan and covered in holy beasts. Most importantly though they are massive so she cannot leave without the permission of someone more powerful. Someone like me. I knock on her door. To get no response so I open them slowly as they are heavy. Then I look into the room to see the Grand Seer. Seer is an ancient title given to Fas gifted with the power to hear the words of the deities. They have the power to hear and see gods and thus communicate their will to the people and speak to them with our response. They are important to keep the powers of the deities on the emperor''s side. And also the people as many of the populous hear the words of deities through them. But they can do the opposite: they can get the people who listen to them to be against the empire. For that reason we must keep the Seers close to us so we may get rid of the ones who rebel. But more important than any of them is the Grand Seer. The Grand Seer is a title given by the empire to the most useful Seer. They are most important because people see them as a power of the empire. So then of course the Grand Seer is a part of the empire and like the empire she must be beautiful, divine, and full of poise. She must be known as the most beautiful person on all of Grivos. And our Grand Seer was all that, her dark blue skin shone in the moonlight and her silver hair was obviously divine. She is the type of Fas that I would take for myself if I had that power. But this is so wrong the Grand Seer must be a perfect being she shouldn¡¯t move like this she should move with poise and grace. It is her job to be beautiful and loved. This is wrong. She must be corrected. She spasms out on the ground with foam in her mouth, her skin peels and her eyes look blankly out into the distance. Her hands twitched and her legs peddled as if she was swimming. It was a horrible sight. One that the Grand Seer should never show to anyone. ¡°Grand Seer!¡± I say, ¡°what are you doing sprawled out on the ground.¡± She rolls over seemingly in a painful way to look at me blank eyed and says ¡°doom has come to our home.¡± ¡°Who cares why are you convulsing on the ground,¡± I say, ¡°you need to get up or you will be punished again.¡± ¡°No, no please,¡± she says, ¡°the gods are all sending me messages at once. I can¡¯t think straight I can¡¯t do a thing¡± ¡°What if a maid saw you like this.¡± I say. ¡°Ours is not the only world there are others and a being has come from another. It is all powerful and anti-divine.¡± she says. ¡°Are you saying sacrilege?¡± I say looking at the Fas woman she has a scared face I sigh and say. ¡°guards get in here.¡± ¡°A few come and grab her.¡± One says ¡°is she acting out again?¡± ¡°We might need to replace her again, she¡¯s saying things that are madness and divining things that are of no use to the empire.¡± I say. The priestess shakes her head and says ¡°you have to believe me. More than the empire, the world is at stake.¡± ¡°Enough I¡¯ll discuss with the divine leaders on what to do with her. Take her to the dungeon¡± I say. ¡°This is annoying. I¡¯ll have to find someone else to lead our prayers for now¡± ¡°No, don''t take me to that place.¡± says the priestess. I walk out of the room as the guards take her off to the dungeon. Ch 3 The Interested Visitor The wind changed that day and I swear the world grew lighter. The tides changed a little and the grass grew different and the stars disappeared just for a moment. Through my telescope I could see plenty; the stars were gone for just a moment and the sky turned purple, then black. It''s hard to tell what happened. It¡¯s all so mysterious. Studying the stars is my job so it¡¯s a bit scary to have them disappear for a moment. Well no it was terrifying. I need to sit down for a moment. The dark wonderful and mysterious land above became even more mysterious for just a second. But what happened I wonder. Did a massive object appear blocking out the light only to disappear no that¡¯s crazy. I exit the great telescope room. To see the beautiful night, the stars in the sky, the blue sun gone and the divine silver light of the moon raining down on the street graciously allowing me to see. The lit pathway shows a straight line between two rows of forest, beautiful as always. I thank the stars as I always do for their beauty and leave. I begin to walk on the gravely road towards the city when I am interrupted by the sight of a young Tes. He has a light blue skin tone and purple hair. But he looks strange. I can''t put my finger on what is so strange about him. No, I''m above judging people by appearances. He looks over and around the lighthouse area. He might be a ruffian but I¡¯ll still talk to him. ¡°Hello, what might you be doing,¡± I ask. He looks at me, pauses and says. ¡°I¡¯m just looking around. What is this place?¡± ¡°It¡¯s a telescope house.¡± I say. ¡°We use it to look at the stars.¡± ¡°Really?¡± the Tes says. ¡°Yes.¡± I say. ¡°Come with me young man and I¡¯ll tell you about it.¡± ¡°Really?¡± He says ¡°I would love that.¡± He seems interested. So we walk and I begin to impart my knowledge. ¡°In the telescope house we look at the stars. We do this for many reasons, we do it to find out about our universe, to make discoveries about the math that runs our world, but mostly to learn about the deity''s creation. It¡¯s a fun time really.¡± ¡°The deity''s creation,¡± he says. ¡°There are deities?¡± A case of content theft: this narrative is not rightfully on Amazon; if you spot it, report the violation. ¡°Yes,¡± I say. ¡°Do you not know about deities?¡± How has he never heard of the deities? What must his childhood have been like? ¡°Come now, with me, and I¡¯ll tell you about the gods.¡± I say. So we continue to walk and I impart my knowledge on him. ¡°So there are too many gods to talk about them all, but there are the true gods and then there are the gods of other peoples.¡± I say, ¡°they are all real.¡± ¡°Do people see them?¡± asks the Tes looking up at me with stars in his eyes, ¡°like they do appear before people.¡± ¡°Why yes,¡± I say. ¡°They appear before people very rarely. But seers can talk to them all the time.¡± ¡°Seers?¡± he says, ¡°what are those?¡± ¡°Oh, they are Fas who see the gods and speak with them to impart their knowledge onto the masses.¡± ¡°I see,¡± the Tes says. ¡°What¡¯s a Fas?¡± ¡°Do you really not know?¡± I ask how could he not know what a Fas is. I put my hand on my chin. ¡°Everyone knows what a Fas is.¡± ¡°Do they really?¡± ¡°A Fas is a type of Grivs who has a slimmer body and weaker muscles but higher divine attunement than average; they are rarer than your normal Grivus.¡± ¡°That¡¯s interesting. question for you.¡± ¡°Go on.¡± ¡°Did you see anything in the sky in the last few hours?¡± ¡°Why yes actually,¡± I say, ¡°the stars disappeared for a moment.¡± ¡°Really.¡± he says. ¡°Tell me more.¡± ¡°The stars simply disappeared for a few seconds.¡± I say ¡°I can¡¯t explain why though.¡± ¡°I see, thank you.¡± says the Tes. ¡°I¡¯ll be going now.¡± ¡°Really? we just met, well it was nice meeting you.¡± I say, hoping that he gained some culture through me. He walks into the wilderness behind some bushes and through some trees. ¡°Where are you going?¡± I ask. But he doesn¡¯t respond, he just walks into the wilderness. Soon he disappears into purple light. That light rises over the trees and into the sky. ¡°What?¡± I say. My jaw agape I look. I¡¯ve never seen anything like this before. No human could do something like this. How did he do this? Could he have been a god? Why would a god be here? I look up in fascination. I don''t know why you¡¯ve come to ask me these questions but like every person I¡¯ve met I¡¯m glad to have met you. I¡¯m glad to have educated or entertained you whatever you liked more. I¡¯m so glad. I look up to the sky and the stars are there as they always are. It¡¯s so beautiful. This world is beautiful and I¡¯m thankful for it. Ch 4 That Day When My World Changed Once in the middle of the day the sky went black. I was out on the open sea fishing when it happened. Turned purple, then black. I panicked for a bit when I couldn¡¯t see the shore but soon it turned back to normal. I thought everyone could see it at first but it seems it was only visible to me. But then my life went on. I simply planted and harvested the crops for my divine lord bored as I normally do. The fields of red are a sight to behold but I¡¯ve lost that wonder it¡¯s just normal now. I go back to the house and sit down in front of my mother like I normally do. And I somehow make her angry like I normally do. I never know why she is angry but she often is. ¡°I swear the sky went black, for just a moment.¡± I say. ¡°No, you were just seeing things.¡± says my mother as she folds the harek dough. ¡°I swear I saw it, just for a moment.¡± ¡°If the sky went black, we would know,¡± she says. ¡°Was it just over the lake?¡± I say. ¡°Impossible old man Qui was there and he saw the sky as it normally is.¡± she says. ¡°Then do you think I¡¯m lying, mom?¡± I say. ¡°I don¡¯t know what goes through your head.¡± she says. ¡°You just say things.¡± ¡°And what does that mean?¡± I say. ¡°I don¡¯t like your tone of voice.¡± she says. ¡°Go to sleep. I don¡¯t want to hear another word from you¡± ¡°But mom.¡± I say. ¡°Go to bed.¡± ¡°Fine.¡± I finally say before storming out of the room. I lay in the wei that I sleep in and put my hands behind my head. What does she mean I just say things? I always try to live up to her expectations but I don¡¯t understand what she wants. I don¡¯t get what anyone wants. What do I want? why do I work? is it for a reason? I just work and fish and work and fish around here and do nothing else. What else could I do? I lay there for a few moments then I hear a familiar voice. ¡°You seem down, did something happen?¡± It was the voice of my friend. I don''t know his name or face but I hear his voice every now and again. ¡°Yea, my mother is berating me again.¡± I say. ¡°What was it about this time?¡± they say. ¡°I swear I saw it, the sky turned black just for a moment.¡± I say ¡°Yes it did.¡± he says. ¡°You saw it two?¡± ¡°Yes!¡± I say, happy to be recognized but knowing that he is not real; so it doesn¡¯t make me trust my eyes any more than I did before. This story has been stolen from Royal Road. If you read it on Amazon, please report it ¡°you saw it,¡± he says to himself. ¡°That¡¯s interesting. You must be one then.¡± One of what?¡± I ask. ¡°A seer,¡± he says. ¡°A seer like one of those people from the city.¡± I say ¡°Yea right.¡± there''s no way he would know he¡¯s just a figment of my imagination. ¡°You can hear my voice can¡¯t you?¡± he says. ¡°What does that mean?¡± ¡°Why I¡¯m the god of judgement Grea.¡± ¡°No, you''re just a figment of my imagination.¡± ¡°So you need proof?¡± he asks. ¡°Yes¡± I say. ¡°You know the punishment for nonbelief right?¡± ¡°Who cares, You''re not even real.¡± The earth shakes. And screams echo throughout the town. I ran out to see my mother. ¡°Rea, Rea stay inside.¡± she says ¡°What, why?¡± I say before I look up into the sky. To see a man with massive wings and a massive weapon in the sky. The man in the sky looks at me in particular and I know why. ¡°Grea¡± I say. ¡°What, is that him?¡± my mother says. I kneel before him and my mother follows. Soon after some chatter the whole town kneels. ¡°Yes,¡± I say. ¡°What is it?¡± I pause ¡°Eternal torment in the below lands.¡± ¡°But I judge that you have no ill will.¡± he says ¡°so I¡¯ll let you off with a lesser punishment.¡± ¡°What is it?¡± I ask. ¡°You shall be my seer,¡± he says. ¡°Really.¡± I say. Being a seer is the ultimate honor. ¡°But why me?¡± I ask. ¡°You will understand in time,¡± he says. ¡°Now I must go.¡± he flaps his massive wings and travels through the sky over the horizon. The town is silent for a moment before they all cheer and celebrate. But I¡¯m at a loss. Soon my mother comes to me and says, ¡°It was all worth it.¡± I get to talk with Grea from time to time now and people await my conversations. He regularly gives blessings to my town. But the days are mostly the same. I fish, I fertilise the crops for the divine lord everything is the same. until a wagon came to our town; it¡¯s beautiful; it could only be the divine royal carriage. But why did it come here? Soon a man walks out of it, he says. ¡°So this is the town where Grea came.¡± Our town elder came out of the crowd and says, ¡°yes, yes it is.¡± ¡°Where is the seer?¡± the man from the carriage asks. ¡°Her name is Rea, Rea where are you?¡± the elder calls out. ¡°I¡¯m here.¡± I say. ¡°Is this the girl?¡± the man from the carriage asks. ¡°Yes this is her.¡± says the elder. ¡°Great, you are to come to the divine capital.¡± he says. ¡°Wait really.¡± I say. ¡°No she can¡¯t¡± says my mother who came out of the crowd, ¡°she¡¯s not trained in courtesy or manners.¡± ¡°We can train her in that.¡± says the man from the carriage. ¡°She must come with us, unless you want us to use force.¡± ¡°No she can go with you.¡± says the elder. ¡°Rea go get your things in order you will need to go.¡± I gather my things and just as I get ready to go I hear my mother say. ¡°Don¡¯t trust anyone in the divine capital.¡± ¡°What why?¡± I ask. ¡°Just don¡¯t you don¡¯t know but I used to be a noble.¡± she says before being interrupted by the man from the carriage. ¡°Let¡¯s go,¡± he says before looking at my mother and smirking. He grabs my shoulder too tight and pulls me into the carriage. ¡°Grab her things, men,¡± he says. ¡°And don¡¯t do anything you don¡¯t want to do even if they ask you to.¡± she yells as I¡¯m pulled off into the divine capital. CH 5 plight of the Fresui I prayed like my heart depended on it, I begged any deity that could hear me and my heart sank as I heard the sounds of the invading forces. Despite all of my life living to the deities teachings they had forsaken me. I¡¯ve got nothing. Why are they here? Why do they hate the Fresui so much? Why must they take everything? I hear screaming of the ones who were caught, the scrambling of the ones who run but I only can hide. I look out at the orange earth, the red sky as red blood flows freely on the ground where the children once played. It was all once a beautiful green color. Once this place was my home but now it¡¯s the land where my loved ones die. I see the tent houses of steel and stone. The silver grey of the steel and yellow of the stone turned red with blood. Do they realise that we bleed red as well. I hope that they all die, the lot of them, may they never rest again, never feel pleasure, never feel joy. But they will be fine, I know it. They will trample me and my home and go back to theirs with joy. Their families will cheer for them while ours scream for us. This story has been taken without authorization. Report any sightings. I hear footsteps coming closer. It''s terrifying, all I can think about is them now. Pitterpater in the mud hateful movement in my direction. The drums of disaster come to kill me. Until I saw a man with a mask, a firearm pointed at me. I ram into his chest but I¡¯m tiny. My mother said I would grow big and strong but that will never be true now. I¡¯ve lost everything, nothing is left for me. If I¡¯m going to die I¡¯m going to die in a blaze of glory. I¡¯m going to set myself alight and run to see if I can get one. But before I can do a thing he kicks me and I tumble down and am unable to stand. ¡°damn children.¡± ¡°I curse this army.¡± I say through baited breath. ¡°I curse you and your brethren, I curse your gods and I curse your lives. May you die in pain, obscurity, and misery. Just die!¡± He points his firearm at me and
