《Bishingo: The Galactic Divide》 Prologue He ran through the office, afraid of what he had heard earlier. He had to come to see if it was true. Once he arrived at the entrance, he put his face up to the retinal scanner and entered. Before him was a meeting table with generals and the president conversing. He was greeted by the president, her gaze cold and uninviting. ¡°Yes, Adam, it¡¯s true,¡± she proclaimed. Her cold words sent shivers down his spine. Before he could say anything, the president, Marida stopped him and turned in her chair to the large screen behind them. She made a hand gesture, and a picture appeared on the screen. ¡°So it¡¯s true, then? What shall we do? Is it a threat to earth¡­?¡± he exclaimed, his voice laced with fear and excitement. Merida cleared her throat. ¡°We have some voice recordings, but they are not in our languages.From what we have gathered, they call their planet Bishingo. They have two moons and one sun. They also have two primates, one like ours and one different.¡± He started to think, that even though he had suspected other life out there, he wasn¡¯t prepared to face the complications of having other life out there. Meridia turned back to him and said ¡°We are sending a group of scientists and some military to their planet. I am inviting you to join them¡±. He looked down at the ground, he did not know what to say, part of him wanted to go but the other warned him of the dangers. He looked back up with more courage and said ¡°Yes, I would like to go but I want to be lead scientist¡­¡± he started rambling about all the requirements he would need to leave with them. We will meet on base 0-1267 Alpha for transport. Don¡¯t let me down, Adam¡±. He nodded and hurried out of the conference room, his mind was filled with the things he needed to pack and get ready. He got into his car and sighed, he had been waiting for this day for what it seems decades. He drove home and started backing a huge suitcase grabbing his scientific kit for storing samples and testing. He had a cat named Elvis and he didn¡¯t wanna leave him so he was defiantly taking him, Elivis always stayed on his shoulders or walked around him. He was a smoky black main coon. After he was done packing, Elivis lay in bed with him as Adam pondered the journey ahead. His alarm woke him up, Elvis was cuddled up against his face so it was hard to see the alarm, he got up and gave Elivis a quick pat, and checked his phone. It was around Five am, he had to wake up earlier since the base was an hour away by car. He packed up his car and once he was done he made a ¡°chi chi chi¡± sound. Elvis''s ears flickered up and he jumped up on his shoulders, laying down he purred and rubbed his head against Adams. They got into the car and he pushed start, he then left his house flying his car towards Base 0-1367 Alpha, Once they had gotten there, he parked his car got his bags, and looked around. Feeling a mix of excitement and nervousness he marched on to the entrance. Some military men took his stuff and loaded it in the shuttle, he met with the president, and before he got on they got briefed on the mission. Meridia explained to them their objectives: Capture both types of primates and bring them back. Collect samples of plants and animals. Try to be discrete while doing it and Try to get everyone out alive. He listened intently and also mingled with the other scientists. As they loaded onto the Shuttle he took one last look around on Earth and stepped in. The journey to Bishingo was pretty rough, they all made it alive and now could see the planet from space. All the scientists huddled around the windows talking excitedly as they got closer. It took another hour to pick a safe place to land. Once they were ready to disembark from the shuttle he was first in line, from the info they had gathered, they knew it had an oxygen-filled atmosphere. As he stepped out he looked up at the purple sun and the light purple sky, the sun flashed in his eyes. Elvis meowed and looked around, his interest piqued by the environment. The trees had purple and blue leaves and the grass was green and the bushes were very colorful. He then heard a flapping noise and heard the military yell ¡°CODE GREEN¡±. Before him, he saw many snake-like dragons emerge from the forest with people riding their backs. Chapter 1 As the purple sunlight entered the room, the curtains flowed with the wind, the sunlight hit her face and she started to stir. Her sister, Sammy, burst through her door, saying, ¡°Wake up, sleepy head. It''s time for breakfast.¡± Yazmina groaned and mumbled, ¡°Five more minutes, please.¡± It was the weekend, and she was in no mood to wake up. Sammy rolled her eyes and walked over to her bed. " You have to get up. It¡¯s the one day I¡¯m off call, and I never get to spend time with my annoying sister,¡± she said with a cheerful tone. Yazmina opened her eyes and smiled slightly. Then she groaned and stretched out, sat up, and rubbed her eyes. Sammy was in her face and making a funny face. Yasmina laughed and shook her head. ¡°Okay, okay, jeez, I¡¯ll get up.¡± She got up and cracked her knuckles. Then, she looked in the mirror and started to fix her hair. Her purple curly hair was hard to fix at first, but she put it up. Her eyes were droopy, and her body ached with exhaustion. Yazmina watched Sammy walk out of the room and go to set the table. Once she put on her day clothes she went to get her food, Sammy greeted her by saying ¡°Your sorhebi kept me up, he keeps sticking his head in my window¡±. Yazmina chuckled and reached out to her sorhebi Koda through a telepathic connection. She started saying to Koda ¡°So I hear you terrorizing Sammy. She would like to sleep you know¡±. Koda chuckled through the connection and then said ¡°Sorry, but its fun to see her reaction, I¡¯ll stop¡±. She started to eat breakfast when she suddenly got a call from her boss, and she raised an eyebrow, confused. Sammy groaned and said, ¡°Fine, go pick it up. Just when we wake up, huh?¡± She mumbled the last part, and not even a second later, she got a call from her boss. Yazmina chuckled and said in a petty voice, ¡°Ugh, fine, you can go pick it up.¡± She answered the call and asked, ¡°Hi, Landon. Why are you calling me?¡± Landon was breathing erratically and said, ¡°Code Brown, I repeat Code Brown.¡± She then realized what was going on: Code Brown was for an alien invasion. She said, ¡°Understood, sir. What¡¯s the situation?¡± He replied ¡°We had a shuttle land in our territory we approached with a small group of Riders. The Aliens look like humans, they speak English but have a different scent and don¡¯t come from here. Two were injured, and one died. We have captured one and the rest of the aliens did not make it, he is being transported to our base. I¡¯ve put you in charge of getting information out of him. Please report to our base¡±. She agreed and hung up. Sammy had been in the other room, and she burst out and said, ¡°A code brown? We have not had that one before. I¡¯m in charge of patching up the one they captured. What about you?¡± Yazmina said, ¡°I have to get information from the alien. I can speak English, so no wonder.¡± Sammy nodded and said, ¡°True, you''re going to have to translate for me.¡±. Landon looked at Sammy and said ¡°Your boss has assigned you under me, as a combat surgeon and certified nurse we need you to keep The alien alive. Yazima since you are one of very few English speakers, I want you to translate for us, Understood?¡±. They both nodded and had to go through security before going into the containment unit, Yazmina saw him first. She was a little curious as he did look a lot like the humans here, except most of the humans here had ears and a tail of some kind. He did not, she approached the alien and said in English ¡°Hi, my name is Yazmina. I was sent here to talk to you, who are you and why did your kind land on Bishingo?¡±. The alien who was on a hospital bed looked at her, he then asked ¡°You can speak English? I thought you only spoke your language¡±.She nodded and said, ¡°Well I can speak English because I majored in it, my colleagues cannot. Our native language is Shalanese, but like I said who are you? and why did u land here¡±. The alien looked over to Sammy and Landon, his eyes widened a bit and Sammy asked her ¡°What is he saying? And can you ask him what hurts?¡±. Yazmina turned to him and said, ¡°My sister, Sammy is a doctor and will patch you up.Where does it hurt?¡±. He looked back at Yasmina and said ¡°My name is Adam, and before I answer any questions, where is my cat? Elvis¡±.Yazmina didn¡¯t know what a cat was and asked Landon ¡°He¡¯s asking for ¡°cat¡± I suppose it¡¯s like an animal? Did he have any with him when u captured him?¡±. Landon then on his radio asked, ¡°Please bring in the black creature that was with the Alien.¡±.Tom, one of her friends brought in a small creature carrier who Jerry accompanied. Yazmina asked Adam ¡° Is it dangerous?¡±, Adam shook his head and Tom let Elvis out. The Black creature was adorable, it went up to Sammy and sniffed her, it made a ¡°purrr¡± sound and rubbed against her. Sammy Gasped and grabbed the creature looking at it and said ¡°Awhhhh it¡¯s so cute, no wonder why the alien wanted him¡±.Yazmina then piped up and said ¡°The alien is a Male and his name is Adam¡±, Sammy carried the cat over to Adam and set him down on Adam. Elvis saw Adam and meowed, he rubbed up against him and laid down beside him. Adam seemed to sigh in relief and then looked to Yasmina and said ¡°Thank you, as for where it hurts, I can feel pain in my wrists and my lower body¡±.Yazmina nodded and told Sammy ¡°He says it hurts in his wrists and lower body, fix him up before we question him anymore¡±. Sammy nodded and Yazmina and Landon went out of the room to finish up reports. Sammy then approached him, she couldn¡¯t speak his language so she had to rely on body language, she started to examine his body and noted that he had sprained wrists and a fracture in his leg. She then was thinking of some way to ask him if anything else hurt. She then heard him speaking, she could not understand him so she tilted her head in confusion. He then started to point at his hip, she got what he was saying and couldn¡¯t feel properly due to his clothes she then used her hands to give him a ¡°Pull your pants on this side slightly down¡±. It took him a second to get it and he slightly moved his pants lower where she could see purple bruises, she gave a concerned look and felt the area. It was soft and tender, she then gave a ¡°mmmm¡± sound. She then went into a cabinet and pulled out a shot, it would help heal it up by the next day and with the pain. She made a gesture of having to give him a shot. He made a wincing face and slowly nodded, she prepared the shot and felt for a vain in his hip. She then stuck the needle in and pushed the antibodies into him. Chapter 2 Once Sammy the doctor stuck him with the needle he felt a sharp pain in his hip once more, he cried out in pain and clenched the sides of the bed he was in. Sammy gave him a sympathizing look, she was quite an interesting sight to him. She had cat ears, a feathery Tail, Purple hair, and green eyes. She was taller and a little more broader. It kinda intimidated him but he remembered that she was the one who was helping him, Elvis seemed to like her so he trusted his cat. Sammy then said ¡°Yamate uwesu shukibe nebe fajine den ern culapu nof minubun¡¯s, yama curo pukili yamate satant¡¯s oup noshiwu¡±. He looked at her in confusion and couldn¡¯t understand her, Sammy realized it and said ¡°antano war¡±.She then made a motion to pull up his pants, pointed to his hip held a thumbs up pointed to the clock, and made a small notion. He got the gist and nodded, he sat up a little bit and pulled up his pants, also petting Elvis who was purring. Sammy seemed like she wanted to pet him, so he said ¡°Go ahead, you can pet him¡±, he got a confused look and laughed. They both forgot that they couldn¡¯t understand each other, he picked up his cat and held him out to her. Sammy almost jumped up and grabbed Elvis saying ¡° Sushino ern katawi iketumon ihrwashiho osu!¡±.She put him on her shoulder and started to pet him saying ¡°Erit¡¯s seduu yasokat¡±. Sammy¡¯s eyes were all sparkly while she petted Elvis, she did seem to like him and it was fun to watch as Sammy played with him. Since his mind was so occupied by the pain and the situation her forgot about what he was supposed to do. He wanted Yazmina back so he could ask more questions but did not know how to convey to Sammy that he needed Yasmina. He made a noise to get her attention, once she picked up Elvis and approached him he pointed to his mouth and said ¡°Hey¡±.He then pointed to the door and kept talking. She said ¡°Nanati sudo yama hineden?¡±, she had a pondering expression and looked back at the door and him.She put elvis down and she perked up her ears strantaning she said ¡°Ohhh yama hineden ern toyakuto, ummm ihr shiliwi taruto yama into yazmina¡±.He heard Yazmina¡¯s name and nodded, and then out of his surprise she picked him up like a princess. He blushed hard as he felt her hands wrap around his body, he knew he was small but he felt smaller in her hands. She opened the door and was confronted by the security guard saying ¡°yohi! Noh churosen¡¯s dater into tamopen kanim kohere¡±.Sammy then with a cheerful tone said ¡°Oh, kudarai kan¡¯s ansazen towith mun.Ihr deeminaned kanim muhaleness¡±. The security guard seemed to ponder for a moment then said hesitently ¡°Um, wiyo isece yamata ern ishado ihr shiliwi sate kotche suraid, becashi moshi kan gera¡¯s sotu. Erit was non yama¡±.Sammy breathed out as if relived and said ¡°Tarigano! Soan ihr yakumisen shiwa shiliwi nai nebe kigota logasan¡±.He was amazed by the language, it reminded him of Japanese back home. The security guard stepped aside and closed the door for them, he had Elvis in his lap as Sammy carried him, he was fascinated by the corridors and colors of the place. ¡°Quite colorful¡± he mumbled, Elvis seemed tired from their previous journey here so he was napping on Adam¡¯s stomach. They then turned down a more crowded hallway and he started to get strange looks and heard ¡°Wa soche noh arian¡± and ¡°doyoha wikoyod¡±. I don¡¯t know why just you what happened to all of them? Also they are called Sorhebi, they are lifelong companions¡±. Adam liked the sound of them, It reminded him of his cat, and he replied ¡° Oh well some of them escaped and some did not make it. Do you all have search parties? I mean to recover the one who escaped¡±. He was only asking because he needed some more information about how they operated, he was still thinking about who they should bring back to earth. He hoped that they would cooperate but he had a sinking feeling that they would not. Yazmina said, ¡°Well I wouldn¡¯t know but I can always ask my boss. Other than that any more questions?¡±. I wonder how advanced your technology is¡±.Yazmina went out of the room and called somebody. He looked at Sammy who was playing with Elvis and he then out of curiosity said ¡°Yama?¡± pointing to Sammy. She said back to him ¡°Mun¡± pointing to herself then pointing back at him saying ¡°Yama¡±. He felt like a little kid did when they got ice cream, it was quite exciting to be learning a new language. Yazmina shortly came back in and said to Adam ¡°Well, Sammy here wants to show you around, so I will be translating for her while we do this¡±. She seemed annoyed but he paid no attention to it, he did not mind being shown around. His legs were feeling better but he preferred to be carried, he just liked it which was weird but he then told Yazmina ¡°Yeah my legs still hurt, I was wondering if Sammy could carry me?¡±. Yazmina gave an amused look and said to Sammy ¡°Kan washiho into nebe hacarbened, kan sitta kanis ashile kizuhut¡±. She had an obvious smirk on her face, he had a feeling she could see right through him. It made him embarrassed but he did not say a thing as Sammy¡¯s hands lifted him. Once he got comfortable, he looked up and chuckled nervously as Sammy looked down on him. They started to walk out of the office, Yasmina locked her office and then said to Adam ¡°First we are gonna go¡­.¡± her voice faded out as he started hearing a static sound in his left ear. He forgot that before stepping out on the planet, they had given them earpieces. A crackling voice said, ¡°hel¡­¡­Ca¡­..ada¡­..hello? A..adam are y¡­you there?¡±. It was Merida¡¯s voice, his heart froze and he started it started to dawn on him. Once Merida finds out about the accident then she will wage war on Bishingo. Chapter 3
Sammy heard little noises from Adam but did not think he was speaking, she blew it off and continued to follow Yazmina who was currently speaking English. They were nearing the part of the base where the newer recruits practice and train. It was quite busy, but it brought back memories for her because of her intense boot camp. She yawned and kept walking, Yasmina then said to Sammy ¡°We can go over to the stables next, I have to feed Koda anyway¡±.She nodded and felt Adam tense up, she had a worried expression on and asked Yazmina ¡°Could you ask him why he¡¯s tensing up? Is something wrong?¡±.She then watched as Yazmina asked him, she started thinking of endless possibilities that could explain it but waited for Yazmina to tell her. Chapter 4 Adam, who was left alone in the blue light, had no idea what was going on; he was still traumatized from the earlier events where he almost died. Nobody was around as far as he could tell, so he got up and opened the door. He looked around and closed the door. Before closing the door, he whistled at Elvis. Elvis got up from the corner, walked to Adam, jumped up on his shoulders, and Adam closed the door. He looked around and froze when the speakers turned on, saying, ¡°Allum Jinswonnal, Shiwa allum Tivekuning Pulan Gincetic Seneso Purulocon¡¯s sode Sutinuru noh Nihugen Sashoty.¡± He breathed in and started walking. He did not see any signs of people, so he kept walking, looking around and admiring the architecture of the interior. He turned down a hallway and saw someone who looked like him, taller most definitely, and with scars. He had a doctor¡¯s coat on, but he did not have the figure of a doctor. He was pretty muscular and had brown eyes. He wasn¡¯t too far, and once he turned, Adam could see his long snake-like tail. Adam jumped back in surprise, causing the man to turn his sights on him. Adam¡¯s heart froze, and the man said, ¡°Nanati arum yama sudo kohere? Arum yama sotepou nito nebe kohere? Nanati¡¯s yamata Nama?¡± Adam tilted his head and asked, ¡°What?¡± The man''s eyes widened, and he smiled as if he knew what he was saying. He said, ¡°I guess you not supposed be here. Name is Earl, not fluent English.¡± Adam smiled awkwardly and said, ¡°Not good at your language. Bathroom?¡± Earl then turned to one of his peers nearby and said, ¡°Ihr amna gikuning nito giku taruto koche nihugen nito noh Basurumon, shinamu no gikuta ihr suguso. Ihr hineden nebe modack den ern Calapu no Minubun¡¯s.¡± Earl beckoned Adam towards him as he started to walk to the end of the hallway. Adam caught up to him and started to match his pace. Earl, who just noticed the cat on Adam¡¯s shoulders, asked, ¡°What''s that?¡± as he pointed to Elvis. Adam smiled and said, ¡°It¡¯s a cat.¡± He gave Elvis a pat on the head, and Earl said, ¡°Keno? Inshitening.¡± They turned down a different hallway with glass rooms. It seemed like a testing area for weapons and devices, as a lot was happening. A laser almost caught Adam off-guard before Earl stopped him with his arm. Adam said, ¡°Thank you, heh,¡± and Earl smiled in response. Finally, they stopped at a door labeled ¡°Koto¡¯s Basurumon.¡± Earl said, ¡°Here you are, bathroom. I wait for you.¡± Adam smiled and went in with an annoyed expression. He wanted to find out more about this planet, and he admitted that he did have to go, but he did not want someone babysitting him. Once he was done, he went out and found Earl outside talking to another guy. Adam tried to sneak by, but Earl caught him and said, ¡°See you, let¡¯s go.¡± Adam chuckled nervously and followed behind Earl, grumbling. Earl was still talking to the guy when they turned down a hallway filled with humans that looked just like him. He perked up and was a little confused; he did not think they could be here. Some of them looked just like Adam, but others had ears or tails yet retained a human skin tone. Earl pointed to them and said, ¡°Here you are, have fun!¡± Adam walked toward them, and others immediately noticed him. He waved and chuckled nervously, hoping they wouldn¡¯t see right through him. The one who seemed to be leading the large group approached Adam. She was tan but had a dragon-like tail, brown hair, and green eyes with slits for pupils. She said, ¡°Oh, did you get lost on the tour? My bad, there is such a big group today, so forgive me.¡± She then looked at Earl, who had been there to make sure Adam was in the right place. She said, ¡°Tarigano fom tarutoning kea nof koche osu, ihr appakure erit. Mohette ern yoido hida.¡± Earl smiled warmly and replied, ¡°Yamata Shuimacome, udemitsu kanim adalehi kan satawa milotening fom moh Basurumon, yama mohette ern grasurashi hida asashi wiyo.¡± Earl walked away, and then the lady introduced herself. ¡°Hi there, my name is Zyphora! Just in case you did not catch my name. You are pretty rare; there are rarely any true humans around here. Most of us are known hybrids.¡± Adam chuckled and said, ¡°Thanks! Sorry I got lost; I don''t have the best sense of direction.¡± Zyphora smiled and introduced Adam to the group. There were around twenty to thirty people in the group. He waved at them and followed as Zyphora started talking about the base. He was ultimately trying to get information on this place and report back to Merida. Zyphora then stopped the group at a huge frame with multiple pictures of people. Zyphora started to explain them one by one. ¡°The top picture you see is Landon! He is the base operator and helps control everything on the base. The one below him is the famous Yazmina. She fought in the war and is a military general, making her the boss of the troops and operations with the assistance of Landon.¡± The four pictures below them are the combat medics: Tom, who has a blue heart; Toshi, who fought in the war and has two blue hearts; Kalyee, who has three blue hearts and one blood medal; and the last one, Yazmina¡¯s sister, Sammy, who fought alongside her in the war. She has accumulated five blue hearts, two red medals, a Blood Rage award, and one Battle of Hearts award. Adam was curious about what they meant and was intrigued by the ¡°Battle of Hearts Award,¡± so he spoke his mind after Zyphora finished explaining. ¡°So, could you elaborate on the awards and what they mean?¡± Zyphora looked at him and smiled. ¡°Great question! For those who do not know, a blue heart signifies saving ten people on the battlefield for each blue heart. A red medal signifies protecting patients from the enemy and getting injured in the process. The ¡®Battle of Hearts¡¯ is a very prestigious award given to the best of the best, meaning they single-handedly saved all of their patients and successfully carried the troops to victory.
