 The Ritual

    Years ago a boy lived on an island in a village with around forty villagers. He lived in a small shack with his sick mother and two brothers one younger and one older. The three boys loved to play together. They would find coconuts on trees and kick them at one another. One day the three brothers went out late to play with more coconuts, but they were having a hard time finding any, so they all split up to see who could find the most. The boy went along long trail and ended up hearing strange noises coming from a cave. It sounded like a loud slurping, he thought it might be a snake or a predator that just caught its prey. He got scared and was about to turn around but then heard a voice say "wait!," i have more coconuts if you''re hungry, what''s your name boy". "Um it¡¯s Neil" the boy said "you must be from that village, hear take a coconut". Said the voice as a coconut rolled over. Neil looked closer and saw that it was a man in a fancy robe sitting on a rock with about a hundred coconuts. "What! How did you get all of those!" Neil shouted. "Shh you''re gonna wake up Shyann" said the man. Neil looked over and saw a giant brown bear sleeping in the corner, he tried to scream but his mouth was somehow covered. He looked over and the man was now behind him, he said "I''m sorry but i''d like for you to respect shyanns slumber".


    "Let''s talk outside," said the man. As soon as they got outside Neil started shouting,"how did you move so fast and how''d you get all the coconuts and are you friends with that bear""calm down'' the man said "i''ll show you". The man put Neil on his back and climbed to the top of a tree, then slowly put his hand in the sky and said "watch this", the wind started circling around them and all the trees started flying. Neil heard tree branches snapping and coconuts falling, as Neil looked up and saw around a hundred trees flying in the sky. All the trees ended up going back into the ground and when the man jumped down there was what looked to be a thousand coconuts all dropped in front of them. He sat in silence amazed at what just happened then he heard his brothers calling him "Neil! where''d you go!"" You never told me your name, I have to show you to my brothers"Neil told the man "its Ryell" the man said Neil shouted his brothers names "Raeden!(the oldest) Onel!(the youngest)Come meet Ryell!" they both came running"wow where did all those coconuts come from" said Onel", and did you see the flying trees", said Raeden "it was Ryell", said Neil but he looked over and Ryell was gone "who are you talking about there''s no one there" said Raeden. "Let¡¯s go home, one of those trees almost knocked me out," He said.


    The next day Neil told his brothers to follow him, they wondered for a little and after a while they found the cave "this is where the wizard lives "he said. The three boys walked into the cave where there was no one to be found, until they heard a big roar coming from the back of the cave in the darkness. *Boom!* Loud footsteps started banging towards them. They all panicked, turned around and ran full speed. Neil looked back and saw the big brown bear Shyann so he turned around and stopped, but Shyann kept coming. Neil closed his eyes and counted to three "one, two, three", he opened his eyes and saw Ryell standing in front of him pushing a coconut into the bear''s opened mouth. "She''s pretty scary when she''s hungry". "I knew you''d come,"said Neil. "But why did you come?" said Ryell "we wanna know how you made the trees fly", said Neil.


    "You want to be like me? Are you sure?" Ryell said with a chuckle "if i can do the flying thing then yes" said Neil "I¡¯ll do it too" said Raeden "me too "said Onel. Then you can have my power! Before it fades away, but it can only be one."Said Ryell. Neil heard a voice whisper to him "the power will be yours" he just smiled and said, "I can''t wait to be the winner!" "To be able to receive this power you need to train your mind, body and soul, you can either do it the fast way or the slow way. If you choose the fast way for a week you must collect every coconut from all the trees while inside another realm! basically a spell I cast upon you.""So what''s the slow way" said Raeden. "Or you can train with me for a year!" ¡°But what''s the catch for the fast way?" He said. "If you don''t make it back in a week your body will implode from the amount of spiritual pressure", said Ryell. "I think I''m gonna stick to training", said Onel." "you already know what i''m doing" said Readen "me too" said Neil


    "So how do we start?" said Raeden."When you get there you will find a spirit, show it your heart and you¡¯ll find yourself closer than you think, also in one week there will be a dimensional rift that will bring you back, but if you don''t have enough spiritual pressure, the rift will close immediately. Ryell started a fire then grabbed a leaf from a tree that just appeared, burned the leaf, told them to sit criss-cross applesauce then put the leaf up to their noses and told them to smell it. They smelled the leaf and each fell into a trance. Next thing they know both of them were together in some all white world or dimension.


    They both saw some trees in the distance, "let''s go '''' said Raeden they ran to the forest and began to collect the coconuts. They already completed almost a third of the forest. "I knew this was gonna be easy,"said Neil. "But how is collecting coconuts supposed to give us special powers?"said Raeden. "Who knows, as long as I win I''ll pick away!" said Neil. We''ll see", said Raeden. They picked coconuts for an entire day until they were exhausted. Then woke up the next day to trees that were a thousand feet taller", this is gonna be harder than i thought", said Neil. So Raeden punched a tree out of frustration and it fell over not realizing how strong he was causing coconuts to fall down. so he started punching down all the trees and taking all of them easily. Raeden tried but the tree just wouldn¡¯t budge, so Neil had to do all the work and quick. By the end of the day they were about halfway done.


    When they woke up the trees were even taller and wolves started to spawn again. They ran from the wolves for two days until realizing they would die if they kept running, so Raeden charged at the wolf pack and punched a wolf in the face. The wolf imploded into nothing as Raedens hand started glowing and soon the rest of his body was shining all over. It spread out to all the wolves like a disease until all the wolves disappeared.


    "Wow!", said Neil. Then a giant wolf appeared in front of him, the wolf looked up and started charging a big breath attack into a ball then shot it out to the right. Raeden was confused then realized it was aiming straight for Neil, Neil was frozen in fear and closed his eyes. He heard an explosion and When his eyes opened Raeden was floating in front of him glowing like the sun. "Wow", said Neil "We''re getting stronger by the second in here we have to keep fighting" said Raeden. Then he grabbed Neil, and next thing you know they were flying in the sky and Raeden puts his hand in the air as golden beams started raining down at the giant wolf. The wolf let out one more breath attack, but just before it hit them Raeden shot out a golden beam in the middle of its forehead causing it to implode. They dropped down in relief "we only have two days left do you really think we can make it? ''''Said Neil.'' ''If we do, we won''t have to fight anymore wolves, let''s just try to finish the rest tomorrow "said Raeden. The next day they woke up and there was an even bigger pack of wolves standing in front of the one million foot tall trees That were as thick as boulders. They looked at each other and Raeden said "I''ll get the wolves you hit the trees", Neil nodded and they both took off running. Raeden started glowing again and started shooting beams at the wolves, Neil stuck out both his arms and started running through all the trees. Raeden ended up getting bit by a wolf then all the wolves ended up jumping on top of him with intent to kill. He ended up letting out a burst of energy killing every single wolf in the area. Neil ended up putting his arm out and started swinging it like a sword cutting down all the trees with the immense wind pressure. "We should be leaving tomorrow" said Raeden "yup, these must be the powers Ryel was talking about", said Neil. I don¡¯t know compared to Ryell this is nothing. We have to make it out of here.¡± Said Raeden.


    Raeden woke up the next day in a dark room looking at a pitch black version of himself. ¡±Who are you?¡±¡±said Raeden. The dark figure began to form a stance. Raeden jumped back, and the other him started to attack. It shot a dark beam at him but he crossed both arms on his chest and blocked it. On the floor he looked around for Neil, he was still sleeping."I guess i gotta do this alone" he thought, then the other him started charging again and tried to hit him but it was dodged. They started exchanging blows but no one did any damage. Then Raeden started glowing golden and the other him started glowing black, they both shot beams and they were fighting against each other so Raeden shot a beam with his pinky at Neil waking him up."ow! what''s happening!" Said Neil. "Take him out!" Raeden cried out. "Oh, you need my help," said Neil laughing. "Just help me,"Raeden said. Then a voice whispered to Neil saying "take him out, ha, ha, ha,¡± his laugh was evil. while he was staring at Raeden. Neil charged and punched Raeden in the back full force going straight through his stomach, and the immense wind pressure ended up shattering the dark room. "What are you doing?" Raeden said as he coughed on the floor. "You didn''t say which one," said Neil monotone. Neil backed up then got blasted by the dark Raeden, he screamed and fell. The dark Raeden flew up to him charging up a blast in its palm, then suddenly got hit in the head with a golden beam. He saw Raeden barley standing with his arm up."Why did you save me?" Neil said. "Because you''re my brother", Said Raeden. Then a rift opened in the distance, "I guess it''s time to go", said Raeden. They walked over to the rift but then a dark version of Neil appeared out of nowhere and attacked Neil sending him flying, so Raeden jumped in and started shooting it with light beams but didn''t realize Neil was running full speed at the rift", wait for me" said Raeden. Then he started running too, but he ended up getting grabbed by the dark Neil. "Neil!" Raeden shouted, but Neil just kept going, "I''m sorry" he thought.     Meanwhile, Raeden and Neil were still meditating and Onel was taking care of their mother back home. He told Ryel he didn''t want any powers, he''d rather let Raeden or Neil get them because he wouldn''t win anyways. "I just hope they make it back", he said. "I know they will," said Ryel. *His mother coughs*"Where''s Raeden and Neil? They''ve been gone for like three days, and I don''t know if I can make it any longer, "she says. "They''re getting stronger to protect you", said Onel. "There''s no need to protect me anymore son, I just wanna see my boys before it''s too late.''''she says in a soft voice. "They''ll be back soon I swear" he says while hugging her tight. "I''m gonna go check on them right now", he says with a tear on his face. "Don''t take too long" his mom said. Onel went to go check on Raeden and Neil and noticed something different. Raeden was glowing all over, shinning like the sun.


    *Suddenly Ryell appears* "he''s gaining spirit energy, also known as chi, it''s what samurai use to gain more power, they''ll be back soon". Later that night Onel went to the tree he always goes to to escape. He talks to himself out loud while looking at the stars. "I wish I could be a star, I''d be the light everyone needs when everything goes dark. If everything goes wrong I''ll be the only one left. "then a girl named Cindy comes from behind looking down at him as he looks up at her. "Who are you talking to?" She says. Onel gets startled and bumps his forehead into hers. They both say "ow". Then Onel says "what are you doing here!" I saw you sneaking over here so I decided to follow you and see what you were hiding,"she says. "I''m not hiding anything so just go home", he said. "I don¡¯t know you sounded so deep and depressed, do you do this often?"she said. ¡°Uh No, well, maybe sometimes, it''s none of your business", he said. "You said something about being the only one left, but you''re not because I''m here" she said. "You don''t understand, both of my brothers could die in a few days, and my mom at any moment. I just don''t know how to save her". Then suddenly a rainbow appeared inbetween them then all around as it started raining. Suddenly Ryel appeared with half a coconut and filled it up with the rain and said "don''t worry about her this will give her strength". "Wow"they both said. "This will save my mom?!" said Onel. "It''ll increase her spirit giving her strength but not for long for that is the best i could do", said Ryel. Onel took the coconut and said "then I gotta go," then ran back home leaving Cindi as she shouts "see you soon Onel!" When he gets home his mom is already sleeping so he sets the coconut down and rests in the bed next to hers.


    The next morning Onel got up and woke his mom gently"mom wake up i got something for you", he said. His mom woke up and said "yes, I''m up, what is it?""it''s a gift from a magician who said this coconut will give you strength" said Onel. "Are you sure?" Said his mom while laughing. "No, I''m serious, I got it from a magician," said Onel. "Alright then" said his mom while she took a sip out of the coconut. "No you have to drink the whole thing"said Onel as he tilted the coconut up and into her mouth.


    As his mom slept her body started glowing silver and the next morning Onel woke up and saw her standing up cutting carrots. "Onel, are you awake? I''m making breakfast so let me know when you''re hungry"his mom said the same way she used to when he was little. There was a tear in his eye as he thought about that moment, "i''ll be hungry a little later but i''ll be back, i''m going out" he said while running out the door. "Wait where are you going?" His mom said, but it was too late he was already gone. Onel ran through the village then the forest then up the hill where his two brothers were meditating. He saw Ryel standing next to them but talked to his brothers instead. "Moms ok! She''s gonna be alright! Thanks to Ryell", he said. Ryel didn''t say a word, he just nodded and smiled.


    Two days passed and it was finally day seven of their training. Onel was eating potatoes with his mom while Ryel was waiting for them to come back. Raeden was glowing again while Neil was still normal, suddenly the ground started shaking underneath them. "It''s time! "Said Ryel. dark clouds started appearing above and it quickly started raining. You could hear loud thunder and see lightning that was way too close. You could see a tear fall down Neils face, then Raeden imploded into blue particles. Ryel had a surprised look on his face as Neil opened his eyes. The storm slowed down but it was still raining, Neil got up and slowly walked past Ryell. Ryell sensed something different about Neils presence. "Hm, i see, son just go home and see the rest of your family we¡¯ll start the ritual when you''re ready¡±, said Ryel


    Neil just started walking home without saying anything. When Neil made it home he saw Onel about to open the door. "Huh, Neil it''s you, I was just going to check on you, where''s Raeden?" Onel said with a smile on his face. There was silence for a good three seconds,"he''s gone," said Neil. Then walked past Onel and saw his mom standing in front of him, "Neil your back i''ve missed you so much wheres Raeden" she said. Neil stuttered,"I, I". "Onel stopped him. ¡±It''s ok¡±, he said. After be took a deep breath Neil finally got the words out ¡°I don¡¯t think he''s coming back home," said Neil. He saw two plates of food sitting on the table, "i''m not hungry", he said then turned around and walked back out the door. As he walked he could hear the cries of his family.


    Neil wiped a tear off his face and walked back to the hill where Raeden died. He placed his hand on the ground and closed his eyes,"im sorry it had to be you" he whispered quietly. "It''s time!" Said Ryell. They went to an abandoned building and Ryell drew a circle with a stick he grabbed on the way. "Sit in the middle with your eyes closed," he said. Then Ryell put his hand out and said "don''t move an inch or you might die¡±. Then started gathering energy from all over, and a circle sprouted three signs: a cat , a tiger and a mouse. Then expanded sprouted a force field around the building. the storm started getting louder and louder until there were tornados surrounding them, luckily they were protected by the force field, but the village wasn''t. Everything was being sucked in as the ground was shaking and the waves started coming in on the island. "It''s too much, your body can''t take it", said Ryel. lightning started coming down extremely hard and fast, the villagers were in a panic. Houses were being destroyed and a few people ended up getting crushed.


    Onel was running with his mom, in the distance he could see the most lightning coming from where his brothers were meditating. "I think I know where Neil is," said Onel. "Well hurry, let''s go", said his mom. As they approached the destroyed building they saw Neil and Ryell, but then they were tackled by Cindy, she had tears in her eyes.``Don''t go any closer! You¡¯ll die, my parents tried to go in there and they shattered into nothing She said. "Then how are we gonna stop this'' '', said Onel. "It''s ok little girl, I''ll stop my boy from hurting anyone else ''''said Onel''s mom. His mom gets up and walks up to the invisible force field and puts her hand out touching the force field leaving an open slit under her hand. She puts her whole arm and tells them to "c''mon.¡± They all walk in and see Ryel with his hand out pointed at Neil gathering energy from all over. "This has to stop," his mom says. "People are dying". "I can''t just stop now or Neil might die, he doesn''t have enough spirit energy," said Ryell. what if i give him mine, I can feel it inside me, if i give it to him will he survive. Said his mom. "I suppose it could work, " said Ryel. She put her hand on Ryel''s back and her spirit energy began to leave her body. I¡¯m sorry about your mother boy, but your life is more important to me. You see, a leaf ready to fall before winter is different from a leaf blooming during spring. See your like a flower, Gazing in the sun, rather than dying in the cold, and boy your heart is still warm. Now show me there is still light to be shed.¡± Said Ryell. In a brief moment a blue light began to shine upon them. Everything went quiet, all you could hear was Ryell say ¡°it¡¯s about time¡±.

    Four hundred years later, Neil didn''t know where he was or who he was with, he looked around and saw three men standing to the left of him and an elderly couple sitting to the right. Suddenly he was pushed off his seat not knowing he was sitting on a girl''s lap. "What''s your problem?'''' Said the man who pushed him off. Neil just looked confused¡±, c''mon let''s teach him a lesson" the man shouted to the other three men. "Yeah, teach him a lesson" said the girl in the chair, as the three men approached him the first one tried kicking him in the face, but it was caught with one hand. Neil stared at it for a second, still confused, then threw the man''s foot in the air causing the man to fall on the floor. The same man pulled out a knife and got back up. "You should''ve just stayed put, now I won''t go easy on you", said the man. "Ahh you then messed up¡± one of the 3 men said in the background. The man then tried swinging his knife, but Neil dogged it, and side kicked him in the stomach. The man went flying and crashed against the wall, he wasn''t getting up anytime soon. "This guy¡¯s crazy," said one of the three men. ¡°Let¡¯s gut him¡± said another one while pulling out his knife. All three of them had knives and one had two. Two of the men charged at him with their knives and swung, but he jumped in the air and on their shoulders then split and kicked both of them at the same time. Both of their necks broke, and they slowly fell to the floor. The last man was frozen in fear and dropped his knife, he slowly walked up to the man and looked him in the eyes, without any words the man fainted on the floor, to the rest of the subway they were just standing there, but the man saw thousands of demons trying to grab at him in a dark void.


    The subway comes to a stop, and he walks out, leaves the area and looks around. It was nighttime and He sees things he''d never seen before like roads and cars in a big city, ¡°this must be the future", he says.


    25 years later there was another boy named Rae. He was fourteen years old watching the news at around nine o''clock at night, and it said someone broke into a museum in another town. So he called his friend Rihanna, also fourteen and told her "We got a mission at the museum, are you watching the news¡±. "Yup, on my way over", she replied. "Make sure to wear the mask", he said. "I know," she replied.


    Rihanna snuck into Rae''s apartment wearing purple leggings, a purple long sleeve shirt and a purple mask. Rae was also suited up wearing a red mask, a long sleeve shirt and red sweatpants. He grabbed two flashlights, a baseball bat and a taser. "You ready," he said. "Yeah, I¡¯m ready¡±, she said while grabbing the taser.


    Then they both went outside and caught a cab to the gas station next to the museum. "What type of freaky, "said the cab driver as he looked back. "Uh um" Rae and Rihanna both said awkwardly as they looked away from each other. ¡°Huh, kids these days¡±, said the cab driver as he drove off. After that they all sat in silence for a while. "Well, we''re here, go get your candy or whatever", said the cab driver.


    "The police are inside, let''s go before they catch him", said Rae. They walked in through a broken window, there was glass everywhere. They walked around for a little and found a dead police officer on the floor, he was shot in the chest. In the distance they could hear two men talking, "you got the diamond" said one of them. "Yeah, let''s get outta here¡±, said the other one. The two men started approaching where Rae and Rihanna were. They both quickly hid behind different podiums, the men walked by without noticing them, until Rihanna sneezed. The sneeze alerted the men and they turned around and one of them started approaching the podium slowly with a gun, but he was hit with a flashlight in the head by Rae. Then before he could react, he was tased by Rihanna, he fell on the floor twitching. Then the other one began shooting at both of them, but Rihanna tucked and rolled behind Rae''s podium. "Who are you, don''t tell me you''re that hero everyone''s talking about", said the man. "Nope! But we''re here to save the day! Do it now!" Said Rae. Then Rihanna turned on the taser and stuck her finger in it shooting electricity at the man. The man fell on the floor shouting and started twitching. "Yes! I did it! and it was my first try", Rihanna yelled quietly. Alright let''s go before more police show up, but the other man wasn''t finished, he picked up his gun, aimed it at Rae and pulled the trigger.


    But in an instant, they were moved out the way by someone extremely fast. "Stay right here", he said. Rae looked a little closer and he could make out his white outfit", it''s The Laser beam" said Rae. Laser beam quickly ran up behind the man after he took his gun. Then punched him in the back of the head knocking him out. He dropped the gun and started heroically walking up to the kids., ¡°It''s really him," said Rihanna. "So cool¡±, said Rae, but when Laser beam got there, he started yelling, ¡°what are you two doing here, you could have been killed¡±. ¡°We¡¯re heroes, just like you, we¡¯re here to help", said Rae. "You''re not heroes, all you''re doing is getting in the way", said Laser beam. "We know what we''re doing, we almost stopped those guys", said Rae. "Key word almost, if i wasn''t here you would¡¯ve been killed", said Laser beam. "So, we made a mistake, next time we''ll get it right", said Rae. "There won''t be a next time. Go home", said Laser beam. There was a tear in Rae''s eye "I can be just as strong as you, just watch me, you don¡¯t even know what you''re talking about", said Rae in a whiny voice. Let''s just go already said Rihanna.


    Rae and Rihanna left the building and walked to the sidewalk to catch another cab. As they got in the cab the driver said, ¡°you guys must be into cosplay¡±. Rae and Rihanna didn''t say anything and looked away from each other again. ¡°No? alright, just like my mom¡±, It was another quiet car ride. "Well, we''re here", said the cab driver. They got out of the car with their heads down "I swear I''ll be the greatest hero ever, way better than that guy¡±, said Rae. Rihanna grabbed his hand and said, "me too¡±, ¡°alright then let¡¯s meet at that abandoned park tomorrow at two, we''re gonna train all day ok", said Rae. Alright said Rihanna and they both went their separate ways.


    The next day they both skipped school and met at the abandoned park, "alright how do we start," said Rihanna. I brought the taser and some cans so you can practice your electric shock", said Rae while holding his bat and carrying his backpack. "Alright, Lemme see", said Rihanna. Rihanna stacked the cans on a bench and used the taser as an electric current to charge up her move and shot all the cans one by one. Rae didn''t have any powers, so Rihanna just threw the broken cans at him while he tried to hit them with his baseball bat. When they finished up, she was able to hit three cans at a time with just one charge.


    The next day they came back to the park, but this time Rihanna decided to shoot from farther away. She aimed in and took a deep breath thinking she¡¯ll surely hit her target, but when she shot, she missed completely, the charge only went halfway there. She tried again and got the same results, ¡°only halfway¡±, she pouted. While she was practicing Rae brought a punching bag and gloves with padding on the knuckles. He hung up the punching bag on a tree nearby and began punching and kicking it. Rihanna looked over at him and saw him hitting the bag in ways she''s never seen before", looks like he''s serious about surpassing the Laser beam".


    They ended up staying there until about eleven o''clock that day. Rihanna still couldn''t hit her target. Rae walked over and saw Rihanna struggling and said, "you need some help ". "Maybe", she said. Then Rae walked behind her, grabbed her arms and aimed at the cans with the taser. "You have to concentrate, just breathe and focus all your energy on the taser". Then he walked over and sat crisscross applesauce in the middle of her and the bench. "What are you doing," said Rihanna. "If you don''t shoot far enough the electricity will hit me so now you have to hit over my head. "I can''t", Rihanna said in a whiny voice". I know you can", said Rae. Rihanna sighed, "but wouldn¡¯t I hit you either way", she said. ¡°Hmm, just make it curve around me then¡±, said Rae. ¡°What, that¡¯s not even possible how would electricity¡±, Rihanna said but was cut off by Rae¡¯s obnoxious mocking, ¡°blah, blah, blah, just do it unless you''re too scared¡±, said Rae. What! Rihanna said as she zapped him, but when she tried, she missed as the electricity stopped and zigzagged around Rae hitting the bench behind him. "Remind me never to do that again", said Rae. "Alright, let''s go home now", said Rihanna.


    The next day they both went to school, Rihanna met Rae at his locker. "Let''s go Rae we''re gonna be late," said Rihanna. Rae was checking the radio he stole from a police officer. ``yeah, I''m coming" he said while clearly not listening. ''''Put that down, we''re not superheroes today, today were just normal students at Ridgeville high. She said while throwing it back into his locker. "But what if something comes up", he said while putting it in his backpack. They began walking to class", if we''re gonna surpass the Laser beam, we half to be on top of this at all times" he said. "But what''s the point of surpassing the Laser beam if you don''t pass the ninth grade? I can manage that too, "said Rae. "Not if you keep playing around with that Radio, now meet me behind the stairs at lunch time I gotta show you something", she said while walking away. "Uh ok" Rae said quietly.


    While Rae was sleeping in class a kid shot him with a piece of paper covered in spit out of a straw waking him up. He looked around to see who it was then he got shot again and there was a kid aiming it at him laughing. At that moment the bell rang, and he got up and walked away. Rihanna told him to meet her behind the staircase at lunchtime so that''s where he was going While turning on his radio. He walked behind the stairs and didn''t see Rihanna then he suddenly got shocked ¡°Ahh!" Rae shouted. He turned around and saw Rihanna, ¡°what, why''d you bring the taser to school," said Rae. Laser beam was still dodging all the beams, so Karl grew more fingers and started shooting even faster. At that moment Rae hid behind the door and Laser beam through Rihanna in the air so he could dodge Karls attack by running across the room getting him to aim to the other side of the room. Once Karl stopped shooting, he barely caught Rihanna before she hit the ground. Laser beam was moving so fast he slid when he hit the ground. "Watch out!" Rae shouted from behind the door.


    Karl charged up a giant blast from his chest and shot it at Laser beam. The beam was too fast to dodge, and he was holding Rihanna, so he only had one choice. He shot his own Laser beam back at Karl through his mouth, there beams connected and there was a giant flash of light. "Wow", said Rae. but after a few seconds Laser beams Laser overpowered Karls sending him flying through three walls and falling outside.


    Laser beam walks through the broken walls and jumps down while carrying Rihanna. Rae climbs down the fire escape following Laser beam. "Who do you work for and why did they send you!"     They heard a noise in the distance, "Karl, what happened to you, don''t tell me you lost to the enemy already". Everyone turned their heads to the voice. "Miss witch it''s you", said Karl. There was a girl dressed in all black, who looked about the same age as Rihanna. "Are you Rihanna Veldon?" said the witch. "Maybe", Rihanna replied. "If so, please make this easy and come with me", she said. "And why would I do that?" said Rihanna. "I''ve been told to capture you along with Laser beam", said the witch.     "Then you leave me no choice", said the witch. Then she crossed her arms and said, "Flame barrage". At that moment four balls of fire appeared out of nowhere surrounding all of them. Then she teleports next to Rihanna and says, "hex box". When she said that a purple force field appeared around the two of them including Karl as the four flame balls crushed Laser beam and Rae. There was a huge explosion, as the smoke cleared Laser beam was right above Rae protecting him from the blast. "You should''ve been able to survive that right Laser beam,¡± there was no reply, ¡°purple whip", said the witch. A large whip appeared in her hand, and she began swinging it at Laser beam in the back over and over again. "Rae, runaway!" said Laser beam in pain. "I can''t just leave you guys here", said Rae. Rihanna, now out of the hex box, tries to charge an electric shock to hit the witch, but the witch easily cancels the attack with one hand. At a final attempt Laser beam closes his eyes and enters a different state of mind. Now to him everything is moving slower, and his senses are completely heightened. Rae started running away while Laser beam quickly dodged the purple whip and tried shooting the witch with a laser beam using his right hand. As time speeds up the witch is confused by Laser beams increase in speed. Right as he was about to hit her, she said "cancel", and his laser beam disappeared. Laser beam just sat there in shock. "Hex beam", said the witch. A purple beam shot out her finger hitting Laser beam in the chest.


    He falls down to the floor and Rae turns back around and screams "no!" "Alright mission complete. Oh, you''re still here, I wasn¡¯t told to capture you, so if you wanna fight be prepared to die", said the witch while floating into the sky with both hands raised and purple energy around them letting out immense aura. ¡°Why are you taking them! Why can''t you just leave us alone!" Said Rae. "To change the world, but you wouldn''t understand anything about that", said the witch. "But why does it mean you have to hurt people; I know deep down you don''t wanna do that!" said Rae. "Whatever it takes", whispered the witch. "And what do you know about me! Flame barrage!", she yells. At that moment 20 balls of fire appeared in two rings and combined together creating a giant ball of flames heading straight for Rae. In Rae¡¯s head everything is silent. He closes his eyes and takes a deep breath and remembers when his mom used to play catch with him when he was seven.


    "Alright here it comes", his mom says. Rae catches the baseball easily. "Cmon mom you can throw better than that", Rae says. "Is that a challenge", she says. "Yup", says Rae laughing.     After that memory right before the fire ball hits him a beam of light shoots from the sky casting upon him, and Rae catches the fireball with two hands and begins to walk forward with it. "Ahhh! I won''t let you take them away! Rae screams. The fireball launches back at the witch but right before it''s about to hit her she says, "cancel", and it disappears. The witch just stared at Rae standing there shining like the sun.

    "Hmm, there''s only supposed to be three descendants here. Who gave me the wrong information", said the witch while pressing an earpiece on her left ear. A voice responded, "no, there were only three at first, but we just started picking up another signal just now". "Alright then, hex beams", said the witch while pointing her finger at Rae shooting dozens of purple beams at him. Rae starts running faster than he ever has before dodging all of the witch''s beams and shining at the same time. Rae runs around for a second then jumps up in the air balling his fist so he can punch the witch. "This ends now!" Says Rae while his fist is shining. But in a brief second the witch teleports beside him and says, "don''t get cocky", in a menacing voice. At that moment she grabs his wrist and flips him upside down while pulling out an even bigger whip with both hands then slams him down full force leaving a crater.


    "How is she so powerful", Rae says while hurt on the ground. "Impressive, you almost hit me. I don''t have orders to bring you in just yet, but I can''t kill you either, so it''s your lucky day", said the witch. She spoke again, welp time to go Rihanna I''m getting bored. She walked up to Rihanna that was inside a purple box then tapped the top of it causing the box to vanish. "Rae!" Rihanna screams as she fades away. "It was fun playing with you guys. I''ll be back to capture you both soon, so don''t miss me too much", said the witch.


    "Rihanna, give her back", Rae whispered. "Huh? What was that?", said the witch. "Rihanna, give her back!" Rae shouted while starting to glow again. He gets up and starts running full speed at the witch. He gets in close and sweeps her legs, "huh? He got faster", the witch thought. "Ahh", Rae screams as he punches her in the face and into ground. "Where is she!" Rae yells while going for another punch. Then he paused, he could feel the blood lust surrounding her, at that moment purple crystal-like spikes sprout all around the witch, and Rae barely evades it at the last second. "Now you''re starting to piss me off", said the witch while getting up.


    "I''m faster than her, if I can get in close, I can deal damage quickly", Rae thought. They both stared at each other for a second. Then in a split-second Rae charged at the witch full speed again, but this time he dashes all around her leaving her confused where he will attack from. "Rihanna''s gone, you cannot stop me. All you''re doing is wasting your time. I''ll take Laser beam too, and next is you. You''ll all die soon, starting with her", said the witch. "Shut up!" said Rae as he charged at her, ready to punch her again. "Ah ha ha, I knew you were an idiot, hex pillar! "Said the witch as a long pillar extends into Raes stomach at extreme speeds sending Rae flying. Rae looks up and sees the witch in the air keeping up with him flying, "hex ball", she says twice as she throws two purple balls at Rae hitting him directly. "Hex pillar", she says again as a giant pillar falls down right Infront of him. As he looked up at the pillar, he could see the witch standing on top of it.


    "You know what I already have Rihanna, shadow won''t care if I accidentally killed two descendants", said the witch. "It¡¯s time to show you what I can really do" at that moment her eyes turned white, and she started talking in tongues. A purple magic circle appears across a third of the town, and while that was happening Rae heard a voice speaking up to him, "Rae, this might be the end for us." He looked over and it was Laser beam holding his chest. He spoke again, "I saw you fighting out there, I''m impressed, I was wrong about you, I''m sorry, but I need you to stay behind me. I don''t wanna see you fall so early". "There you go again tryna treat me like a kid again, we won''t lose. With our combined power she can''t beat us", said Rae. "I''m sorry to say even that might not be enough to win this fight", said Laser beam. "We won''t know until we try'''', said Rae.


    At that moment a black and white ball of chaos starts squeezing out of the magic circle. "Your time has come", said the witch as the ball fell down upon them. "There''s nowhere to run", said Laser beam. "All we can do is fight", said Rae. Laser beam opens his mouth and says, "sonic beam!" A huge beam shoots out of his mouth, and at the ball of chaos. "It''s not slowing down!" Says Rae, so he charges up and shoots up into the sky like a bullet trying to push the chaos ball back up. "Ahh", he screams, but the ball continues to fall down on them. "Laser beam, put everything you got into it!" Rae screams. Then Laser beams Laser gets even bigger, and Rae starts pushing even harder. The chaos ball starts going back up. "Oh no, oh no oh no oh no oh no. I''m so sorry, I¡¯m sorry for giving you false hope. Enhance!" Said the witch. The chaos ball pushed even harder and got even bigger as they pushed against it. It kept falling and they started running out of space.


    "No way! We can''t lose, push harder now!" Rae screamed. Everything went silent and there was a white figure next to them. "It looks like you boys are in trouble, want some help?" Said a woman''s voice. "Huh?" They both said as Wings sprouted from her back and she shot towards the chaos ball going directly inside it. She reappears on top of it, cutting it in half with a skinny sword. "Flashing lights", the woman says, causing a flitter of lights to explode on the witch. There was a giant explosion of her attack and the chaos ball imploding. "Ahh! How is this even possible", said the witch. "So, you''re the one trying to destroy an entire city", said the woman. The smoke clears and the witch could finally make out who the woman was. "So, it is you isn''t it, never thought you''d show your face so soon, Cindy maven", said the witch. "Look I don''t know how you know my name and why you''re here, but I suggest you go back where you came from", said Cindy. "Excellent you''re even better than I expected, ouu Shadow really wants his hands on you", said the witch. "Huh? Shadow? Never heard of him, just tell him I''m not interested", said Cindy. "Well, that''s too bad ''cuz you don''t have a choice in that matter", said the witch. "Come get me if you can", said Cindy. "Oh, we''ll get you soon enough, don''t worry it''s almost time", said the witch while floating backwards into a portal to make her escape.


    while in the sky Cindy puts her sword back in the scabbard and looks down at Rae and Laser beam. "I''ll see you soon Rae, I think Neil might be close", said Cindy. Rae looked up in the sky and saw a sparkle in the distance slowly fade away. "Who was that? She somehow felt familiar", said Rae. "All that matters is we''re safe, that could''ve ended a lot worse", said Laser beam. "No, that witch took Rihanna! We have to get her back!", said Rae. "We have no idea where they are, Rihanna''s gone", said Laser beam. "What do you mean she''s gone you''re not even gonna try to save her!" Said Rae. "I know when I''m beat", said Laser beam. "You don''t know anything!" Rae whined as he looked into the distance and saw Karl crawling on the ground trying to get up.


    Rae instantly starts running at Karl full speed, pushes him back down, gets on top of him and begins punching. "Tell me where she took Rihanna! I know you know, hurry!" Rae yelled. No words came out of Karls mouth and a hand grabbed Raes arm stopping him. "Rae! Stop! Even if we did find them there''s no way we can win", said Laser beam. "But we can''t just leave her!" Rae yelled. "You wanna know how you can get Rihanna back?" said Karl. "Hm? Rae and Laser beam both said. "I can tell you how to get there, but that''s the only information I can give you as long as you promise to leave me alone and save her", said Karl. How do we know you''re not gonna end up capturing more descendants", said Rae. "It''s not my job anymore, I''ve given up on my old dream and shadow will probably just assume I''m dead if I stop responding", said Karl. "Fine then just tell us where she is", said Rae. "I can take you there, there''s an abandoned factory up north. That''s where Shadow is, " said Karl.  "Shadow is a mysterious man. It''s best we avoid him at all costs. Our priority is to save Rihanna and get out quickly", said Karl. "Wait, just how strong is this guy we should just take him out now before more people end up like Rihanna", said Rae. "No! Rae if you see this man don''t engage no matter what!" Said Laser beam. "But I know we can beat him with a little", said Rae, as Laser beam cuts him off, "no we can''t! You saw what they can do, they''re out of our league." "But¡±, said Rae. "No, I''m serious Rae, I''m not letting anyone else end up like Raina!" Said Laser beam. "Raina?" Said Rae. "Just forget I said anything", Laser beam said quietly. "Alright let''s go we got a mission to take care of, you whatever your name is where do we go", said Laser beam. "I have a helicopter we can take. We have to come from the top so we''re not seen, that''s where we should find Rihanna Shadow would be located somewhere near the bottom", said Karl. "Alright let''s go we don''t have time to waste", said Laser beam. "We still have time, you see that tall tower over there, meet me on top of that this time tomorrow then we can go get Rihanna", said Karl while pointing in the distance. Laser beam and Rae both looked behind them and Laser beam said, "whatever you say, Alright Rae let''s go I''ll take you home", he said while walking away and waving his hand goodbye to Karl. "Hold on I''m coming", Rae shouted as he ran over to catch up with Laser beam. When Laser beam and Rae got in the car Laser beam didn''t start the car he just sat in silence for a second. "Rae, when we get to the factory tomorrow stay close to me. "You know back in my day we used to love trick or treating, but only on Halloween, we weren''t as weird as you kids nowadays, will you be fine with a peppermint and a penny", the lady said. "Um I''m fine can you just take me to my destination", said Rae. "Wow these kids are weird and ungrateful I''m telling Monique about this one", said the lady while throwing the peppermint and penny and shifting the gear of the car.


    When they made it to Mega Corp the lady was on the phone screaming, she had been screaming the whole time. "Monique! I don''t know what''s wrong with these kids! *muffling* I know he thinks it''s Halloween!" The lady said while laughing. Rae just gets out of the car and walks into the building. The inside was really fancy and as soon as he walked in a man approached him saying "you must be Rae, there waiting for you upstairs, follow me. The man took him to an elevator and selected the rough.


    When they made it to the top, the elevator opened, and the man pushed him out. Rae stumbled to the floor "why''d you push me", said Rae. The man just smiled as the elevator closed. Then he heard Karls''s voice "there''s no turning back Rae, it''s about to get really dangerous". Rae looked back and saw Karl standing on the edge of the rough, gazing in the distance. Then I heard Laser beams voice "remember this is just a rescue mission so try not to engage". Rae looked over again and saw Laser beam sitting in the helicopter ready to go. "Alright let''s stop wasting time, it''s time to go", said Karl while walking over and getting in the helicopter. He immediately started the helicopter. "Get in Rae we gotta save RIhanna", shouted Karl. Rae didn''t say a word he just ran over and hoped in. The helicopter began to lift up and they were on their way to the factory. "Alright we''re gonna jump off and land on top of the factory so everybody grab a parachute", said Karl. Both Laser beam and Rae both put on parachutes and got ready to jump. "Alright we''re approaching the factory there''s a vent on the top, you can use it to get inside, Rihanna will be on the top floor, so don¡¯t  go downstairs, now jump on a count of three. One. Two. Three", said Karl.


    Rae and Laser beam both jumped out of the helicopter at the same time, both screaming, then Laser beam shouts, "wait, how do we get back out!?. "I didnt think about that!" Shouted Rae. While in the helicopter Karl makes a phone call and says "just dropped off two of ''em", "is it the new one", said the same voice as last time. "Yeah", said Karl. Rae and Laser beam were still falling, then Laser beam said "pull your shoot on a count of three¡±. "What!" Shouted Rae. "Pull your shoot!" shouted Laser beam while pulling it for him then pulled his own.


    They both landed on top of the factory gracefully and began looking for a vent. Rae ended up finding one very quickly "look I found it", said Rae. Laser beam instantly ran over and said "alright let''s bust it open". Laser beam grabs the vent and pulls it with both hands forcing it out.


    "Lets go", Laser beam says while getting in the vent, and Rae follows along. They both crawled through the vent while Laser beam led the way, but Laser beam suddenly stopped and looked down. He saw rows of people in capsules, some sitting in sorrow and some trying to break out using all sorts of abilities. While Laser beam was staring, Rae tried squeezing thru saying, "what is it let me see". Rae poked his head through and saw all the caged people. "These are all descendants of Ahara", said Laser beam. "But where''s RIhanna", said Rae. "Let''s look around", said Laser beam. Then Laser beam broke the vent in front of them and set it aside. "Alright c''mon", he said while jumping down. Rae was about to jump down but the jump was kind of high up, so Laser beam shouted i''ll catch you. Then Rae gracefully fell into Laser beams arms.


    Laser beam put Rae down and they walked over to all of the caged descendants "Help me, Please, I just wanna go home¡±, said a little girl. "It''s ok we''re gonna get you out of here", said Rae. Rae! We can''t", said Laser beam. You''re joking right we can''t just leave her here", said Rae. "If we stay here, we''re just gonna end up like them, locked away", said Laser beam. "We have to try!" Rae shouted.


    Then suddenly a familiar voice shouted "Rae!? Rae! Is that you!?" Said the voice. "Rihanna!?" Rae shouted back. Rae started walking up to the voice and saw Rihanna in a capsule in the distance, he instantly started running up to her. "Rae can you help me, I''m so scared", Rihanna said while crying and sliding down on the glass. "I''ll save you!" Rae shouted while pushing every button on the machine.


    Eventually the capsule opened and smoke came out and suddenly Rihanna bursted out of it giving Rae the biggest hug. "You''re ok", said Rae. "Now I am", said Rihanna.  With tears in his eyes  Rae says, "Rihanna I never told you this, but after I lost you, I decided to man up and tell you the truth, how I really feel, Rihanna, I think I love you".


    Everything paused for a second until a demonic voice said, "I love you too Rae", and Rihanna''s eyes and mouth turned pitch black until it covered her whole body and eventually the entire room. RIhanna''s body evaporated and there was no one else to be found. Just a dark empty void of nothing. A tear fell down Raes face at the same time he could hear a bell ringing in his ear *cling, cling, cling*, and suddenly he felt a hand on his back, he heard a monotone voice behind him, "boo", he said softly, as Rae fainted on the floor.


    All Laser beam saw was a man appear out of nowhere and Rae falling. "It can''t be", Laser beam said in fear as his heart raced. "It''s Shadow!" He said.

 Nightmares

    Shadow spoke, "do you know why you were wrong today?  You tried to stop me from bringing about peace. That means I should bring about justice right. "Jaw dropped Laser beam spoke back ¡°Justice? You call this peace. All I see is sorrow and despair, if you really wanna bring about peace then why don''t you let everyone go!¡± Shadow changed his whole persona and said, ¡°why should I¡±, while frowning at Laser beam. ¡°All these people are suffering because of you! Don''t you think they deserve justice too!¡± Laser beam shouts, and shadow replies ¡°No they don''t, they''re useless pets that shouldn''t have even been born. That category belongs to you too Laser beam, "Laser beam snickered, "but I can bring forth a world without said justice, a world without hate. If I gain the full powers of Ryell, I can finally put an end to all suffering.¡± ¡°What?  But how is this gonna grant you such power?¡± Laser beam says. ¡°I need them to harness their chi, if they don¡¯t, they''ll surely die when I remove Ryell''s magic. You see your chi is connected to your life, to increase said chi you need to use it in a way your heart can understand, but it seems this boy already found what''s close to his, so why don''t I extract it right now.¡±


    Shadow says. Laser beam stared as it got quiet, ¡°sure, go ahead¡±, Laser beam said with a chuckle. Shadow sticks his hand out and a dark mist starts leaving Raes body. All you could hear was the thump of Rae¡¯s heart.  *Thump, thump, thump*. After about 5 seconds of waiting, Raes'' eyes began to roll to the back of his head, and Laser beam heard Shadow chuckle in silence. ¡°Rae!¡± Laser beam shouts, then in a flash of light Laser beam shoots out at Rae carrying him to safety. After they made it out of the building, Rae began to wake up and Laser beam said, ¡°I''m sorry Rae, he almost took everything away.¡± Huh?! And you can fly?! ¡°I can now¡±, said Laser beam, ¡°I can now¡±, he said again.


    Meanwhile Rihanna woke up in a room concealed in a purple container behind a pink curtain. As she opened her eyes, she saw the witch getting dressed while speaking to her. ¡°Rihanna! Are you awake?" She said, ¡°Wh, where are we?¡± Rihanna said while rubbing her eyes. ¡°Were at a factory¡±, said the witch. ¡°But why did you take me here?¡±, said Rihanna. ¡°You have to get stronger,¡± said the witch while opening the curtain. ¡°So, I''m gonna teach you about chi.¡±¡± What''s chi¡±, said Rihanna. ¡°It''s an ancient power connected to your soul," said the witch. ¡°Really? But how do I use it?¡±, said Rihanna. ¡°Watch now ok¡±, said the witch as she stuck out her palm, bursting out a small piece of blue energy that lit up the room. ¡°See, that''s chi¡±, said the witch. ¡°Woah¡±, Rihanna said quietly. ¡°Yeah, but my real power is witchcraft¡±, said the witch. Oh, does that mean you can do all types of spells and magic¡±, said Rihanna. ¡°Right, I heard your power is electricity,¡± said the witch.  ¡°Yeah, I just learned how to control it a little.¡± Rihanna says shyly.


    ¡°Can I see¡±, says the witch. ¡°I mean sure¡±, Rihanna says, then sticks out two fingers and sends electricity through them. ¡°Hmm, just your fingertips. I can teach you something way more advanced¡±, said the witch before she enchanted a spell. ¡°malevolence¡±, a blue sparkly light begins to fade in around her shaking the ground. ¡°Is that your chi¡±, said Rihanna. ¡°Yes, now you try¡±, says the witch. ¡°Malevolence¡±, said Rihanna, but nothing happened. ¡°What, how?!¡± She said, ¡°Just close your eyes and feel¡±, says the witch. ¡°Alright I guess¡±, Rihanna says. Rihanna closes her eyes as the witch tells her how to cast the spell. ¡°Just breathe Rihanna, take a breath in and a breath out, and say the incantation. They paused for a second then Rihanna shouts ¡°Malevolence!¡±  They both waited but no light was shed. ¡°Did it work?¡± Rihanna said. ¡°Maybe we should start smaller¡±, said the witch. ¡°Here follow me,¡± she said as she tapped the box containing her causing it to disappear.


    ¡°You''re not gonna hurt me are you¡±, Rihanna says quietly. ¡°You''re ok just follow me, but first¡±, the witch says while walking up to her. Then she puts both hands on her head and says ¡°malevolence¡±, her eyes Glew pink and Rihanna was frozen. ¡°What was that?¡±, Rihanna said. ¡°Oh nothing, just a protection spell¡±, the witch says nervously. ¡°But Rihanna, can you tell me what lies deep in your heart?¡± the witch says softly. ¡°Uh I mean I don''t know¡±, Rihanna said nervously. ¡°It''s fine but in the meantime let''s go out, my name is Siara.¡±. Said the witch. ok Siara, let''s be friends.¡± Said Rihanna while shaking her hand. Siara turns around and says, ¡°let''s go¡±, pulling Rihanna and running out the door laughing.


    Meanwhile They made it back to Laser beams establishment. It was dark and gory inside, and they were standing at a table. "While you were unconscious, I talked to Shadow in there, he told me he''s gonna extract the power of every last one of us, but it won''t kill us as long as we have enough so-called chi, but I think he''s lying.¡±, Laser beam explains. ¡°But why would he be lying¡±, said Rae, ¡°and why would he extract all of our powers¡±, he said. He wants to remove hatred, or so he says. Apparently if he does this, he''ll be granted the power of some ancient god or something¡±, said Laser beam. ¡°So how do we stop him?¡± Said Rae. ¡°We have to learn chi¡±, said Laser beam.¡± And how do we do that? Said Rae. ¡°I know a guy¡±, said Laser beam.


    Soon they found themselves at a Japanese dojo not too far out. ¡°Hey, how are you today Simon¡±, said a man in a robe. Then Rae goes, ¡°Uh, Simon¡± while laughing a little. ¡°What!¡± Laser beam shouted. ¡°Oh, was I not supposed to say that¡±, said the man in the robe. ¡°Look, we need your help. Do you know anything about chi?¡± Simon said. ¡°I do actually all it is, is the extra flow of energy connected to your soul. ¡°, said the man. ¡°So how do we use it?¡±, said Simon. ¡°You have to touch your soul¡±, said the man. ¡°Here follow me, I''ll show you¡±, the man said.


    They made their way into the temple and as they walked in, they saw a man sitting on the floor with a sword. ¡°So, you guys wanna learn about chi huh? Don''t get too carried away, unless you wanna lose your soul.¡± He said as he got up and walked away. ¡°Don''t mind him, though he is right, use too much and your soul will die. ¡°What!¡± Said Rae. Simon slams his hand on the table ¡°I was right! He is gonna kill everyone¡±. ¡°Now calm down Simon, that''s why you''re here right,¡± said the man. ¡°Now let''s begin, this is just like an astral projection, but instead of pulling the soul out of the body you''re meeting the soul inside. To get inside you must be in a state of shock, but I''ve come prepared. All you have to do is smell this focelice flower and you''ll pass out and find yourself in another realm. Here you first¡±, said the man as he handed Simon the flower.


    ¡°Alright¡±, Simon says as he smells the flower. As soon as he smells the flower, he immediately falls into another realm stranded in the desert all alone, but to the rest of them he just falls asleep. ¡°Did he make it to the next realm¡±, said Rae. ¡°He did¡±, said the man. ¡°So, all I gotta do is smell this flower and it''ll take me there too,¡± said Rae. ¡°You will be taken to your own realm, you see your soul is connected to you and you alone.¡±, said the man as he handed the flower to Rae. He slowly took the flower, held it up to his nose and began to smell and just like Simon he fell into another realm.


    It was nighttime in the woods, he could hear wolves howling in the distance. He stumbled around some tree branches looking for shelter, ¡°hello! Is anyone there!?¡± He shouted. He walked for about an hour, but he couldn''t find any luck nor any soul. ¡°Hey kid!¡± A man''s voice said loud but soothing. ¡°Were you headed¡±, said the voice. ¡°I¡¯m not sure?¡± said Rae. ¡°I''ve been going along this trail for about an hour now,¡± he said. ¡°You must be hungry, I can whip you up some meat if you would like¡±, said the man. ¡°Sounds good¡±, said Rae. They made it to a campfire cooking a large piece of meat not too far out. ¡°So, what brings you out here¡±, said the man. ¡°I''m looking for my soul¡±, said Rae. ¡°Your soul, you''re not one of those demons are you¡±, the man said softly. ¡°Demons? You mean there''s demons out here?¡± Said Rae. ¡°Yes, they¡¯re very deceiving¡±, said the man in a frightful tone. Rae just stayed quiet and finished his food until he got up and said, ¡°alright, I gotta take a piss.¡± Alright, stay safe¡±, said the man.     Then Rae walked away far from the campsite. The breeze blew swiftly for a brief moment. ¡°Wow, it''s cold¡±, he said quietly. He began to pull down his pants, but he heard a woman''s voice in the distance. ¡°Hey there boy¡±, the woman''s voice said. ¡°Why don''t you come over here and help an old lady out¡±, the woman said. Rae just paused; the woman was standing there in the center of an opened field. ¡°Honey, could you help me find my glasses?¡± ¡°Your glasses, I mean I guess, just gimme a sec¡±, said Rae. He looks down and zips his fly but by time he looks back up she''s gone. He gets startled and backs up until he hits someone behind him. They both fell over, and he heard a man apologize. The man was dressed in an all-black suit with a fedora on. ¡°Sorry about my grandma, I''ll take care of it¡±, the man said politely. Where are you heading off too¡±, he said. Then Rae replied ¡°Oh, um, I''m looking for my soul,¡± ¡°oh, a soul, soul where did I put that soul. Oh wow, and here it is. Is this what you''re looking for¡±, the strange man pulled out a small blueish blackish orb from of his pocket. ¡°That''s my soul?¡±, oh no my friend, your soul is inside, but before I give it to you, you mind doing me a favor. Here, take this key¡±, the man says while tossing it over to him. Open any door with that key at dawn and I will appear. I will give you your soul but, if you don''t take your end of the deal I will come back for it.¡± Said the man. ¡°Just open any door with this key, you gotta deal I guess¡±, said Rae. ¡°Now just shake on it," said the man. They both shook hands to end it off and the man said, ¡°hears your soul¡±, as he began a creepy laugh that faded into an old woman''s voice. Then the small orb expanded into a black cocoon of darkness. Soon he found himself in a dark room with no one but himself. He walked up to him and grabbed his hand then said, ¡°You''re not alone.¡±


    Meanwhile the other man went out looking for Rae. ¡°Rae! Rae!¡± He shouted but what he found wasn''t Rae at all. It was the strange man dressed in all black. The strange man spoke¡±, and what brings you all the way out here, Onel.¡± He said. ¡°What the? How do you know my name? You must be a demon¡±, said Onel. He looked at the man''s clothing and realized who he truly was. ¡°No worse, you must be Satan¡±, said Onel.


    After that Rae woke up and noticed the lights were off and a key in his pocket. He gets up and tries to walk out but he''s stopped by a boy sitting in a chair. The boy somehow flickers the lights once and says. ¡°No need to try and run away again. I already captured your friend¡±, He said as the lights flickered back on. It looked as if he was reading a book, and he had been waiting for a long time. ¡°You must be Rae¡±, he said.¡± I''ve come here to capture you, where my sister could not¡±, ¡°How did you find us here¡±, said Rae. ¡°We can track you,¡± Said the boy. ¡°So are you gonna fight or run, those are your only two options¡±, he said. Rae pauses for a brief moment, he doesn''t know what to do in this situation. They stared at each other for a while, but in just a second the man with the sword shot through a wall cutting very precisely and very swiftly. ¡°Go!¡± He shouts as he strikes the boy.


    Rae didn''t hesitate to run; he ran down the hall not knowing if the samurai¡¯s attack even hit. He could hear loud banging behind him like it was chasing him. Until the boy started to speak. It started with a laugh, ¡°uh ha ha ha, you can''t escape,¡± he says mockingly. Him and the samurai were jumping through walls as the boy tried to get to Rae. Rae screams out ¡°no way!¡± As he runs out the building. He turns around smoothly as his feet slide across the road. It begins to Rain as the samurai was struck by a lighting bolt, causing him to fly across the street. All the lights shatter around this boy as he walks up to Rae. Lightning begins to pierce the ground and the boy says ¡°this is my lightning, back home they call my Fear. So, tell me Rae, are you scared?¡± ¡°What did I get myself into¡±, said Rae. At that moment Rae shouts ¡°ahh!¡±, as he begins to charge at so-called Fear. Lightning was shooting down at Rae as he ran across the street jumping and diving, but as soon as Rae got close Fear set lightning down at his feet shooting him up in the sky, so Rae began to leap along with him as he started to shine all over. He screams ¡°ahh¡±, as he went higher than he thought until he realized he was flying again. He flew so high he didn''t realize he was in the clouds. Fear notices him keeping up with his speeds, so he shapes his fingers like a gun and points it at Raes forehead. ¡°Boom,¡± the lightning cracked, but to Rae it looked so slow. He tilts to the left and dodges the lightning in one swift motion, screams out ¡°ahh¡±, and punches him in the stomach all the way from the ground. Fear goes flying out of the atmosphere, causing the rain to go away, ¡°where am I?¡± He says. ¡°I can''t breathe¡±, but suddenly he finds a breath, then a cough. Then stares down at earth for a brief moment, after that he shoots down at the speed of light right next to Rae as Rae tries to fly back down. ¡°You really thought that was my one element. my true power is everything.¡±, he said. The earth began to crumble as Fear built an arena made of pure earth pillar by pillar. ¡°This will be your doom¡±, he said as he set a tsunami in the arena. Rae tries to fly up, but he ends up getting caught under the tides. He begins to suffocate in the water as the waves take him along the stream. Then Fear strikes the water with lightning causing it to shock Rae no matter where he goes. ¡°Ha ha ha!¡± Fear laughs as he continues to strike the water with lightning. He struck it about seven times before checking if Rae was still alive. Rae was still in the water, silent, He thought to himself, ¡°I can''t breathe¡±, in a whiny voice. Another voice spoke in the back of his mind, ¡°starlight, starlight¡± the voice cried out. ¡°What is this voice I''m hearing?¡±, Rae thought. It sounded like a little girl''s voice. Rae thought, ¡°starlight¡±, and in an instant. All the water evaporated; all you could see was Rae standing there ready to fall over. ¡°Starlight¡±, he said. His ears grew pointy, and his aura changed into a white glow with a ring around his neck. When Fear looked up in the sky he saw eleven suns. All the suns turned white and casted a light across half the earth for a brief moment causing people from far away to have heat strokes. As soon as the lights went out Rae fell over and Fear said,¡± it didn''t work.¡±


    Meanwhile Onel was in the area. He spotted Simon on top of a truck passed out and tied up. He looked at him for a brief moment, then slapped him in the face. ¡°Are you ok?¡±, he said to Simon. ¡°Huh? Why''d you slap me!? And why am I tied up!? Are you crazy!?¡± Said Simon. Onel just let out a ¡°ppt ¡°, "whatever just untie me¡±, said Simon. ¡°And why should I¡±, said Onel. ¡°Look I got places to be, people are in danger.¡± ¡°Danger? Can you show me where this danger is?¡± Said Onel. Simon got deep and said,¡± oh no, not this guy, he¡¯s stronger than he looks. If anyone can beat him, I know it''s Rae¡±, said Simon. ¡°Rae? Sounds like, no it couldn''t be,¡± said Onel. Onel quickly untied Simon and said heroically, ¡°take me to this boy¡±. ¡°Ok bud you don''t know what you''re getting into¡±, said Simon as they ran over to Rae.


    Rae was on the ground barely holding on to life. Fear couldn''t believe what just happened, he slowly fly''s down, and out of pure anger starts kicking him in the stomach, ¡°stupid, stupid, stupid, there''s no way you won. Get up.¡± he says. Then he sticks his hand out and makes an ice sword with a blade of liquid nitrogen. ¡°Ha ha ha¡±, he laughs and says, ¡°I told you to get up¡±, as he walks over to Rae with evil intentions. ¡°Hey!¡± Said a voice in the distance.
