    "Hahahahhahha! "I tried to emulate a laughter, but it was an ungenuine and crude imitation of the real thing.


    It wasn''t always like this, even though I recall that long before this the world was once normal and I had lived a happy life with my beloved wife and dearest of friends their faces were lost to the lengthy amount of time that parted us.

    In the faraway reaches of darkness , something is breaking into the void, chasing away the darkness present a leakage between dimensions a rift made from the distortion of space and time emerges and from within it something seems to be grasping the void anchoring on it as support.


    They were roots of light, their golden hue illuminated the darkness, the size of each one was like that of a celestial body their golden energy slowly spread across the void flowing from the rift and with them ideas and concepts that were bygone returned.

    First, it was light it jolted across the empty void until it found an object it could not penetrate it was solid , cold though it did not have a shadow it was more like a projection it had the shape of a man with black hair , a moderate physique and pale skin he was wearing a torn up suit adorned with an armor and a few relics as the light caressed his face he slowly woke up.


    It took him a moment to process the reality, and after that, another moment doubting what''s in front of him soon enough, the realisation kicked in, and his black eyes that shaked nonstop came to a sudden halt.


    He centres his body and follows the source of light he barely had any momentum, but slowly, he was reaching into it after a long time passed away he reached the rift.


    The second was gravity. Its effect was oppressing with the sheer will of dominating all to be beneath it as it was doing its job and spreading influence over the vicinity an object a man approached hovering. Defying the rules it had set as the man slowly reached the great beacon like source of light *thud* he fell on the plane of darkness

    he cried out in pain at the sight of his mangled legs, then laughed joyously as he remembered the pain he had forgotten the pain that reminded him he was human.


    Nevertheless, he suppressed his newfound agony, dread , despair, joy, and sadness in exchange for determination, one fueled by the fear of experience solidarity and the desire for regaining what he once had.


    He crawled on the plane beneath him, slowly reaching towards the nearest golden root one of great size he tried to hold it to use it for support he was hopeful but not thoughtful enough to consider that the blinding light can be as dangerous as the stale darkness.


    As he places his hand on the surface of the light source.


    "My ....hand?"


    It started to crumble down.


    "It''s fading?! "


    Fade into unobservable particles before disappearing completely.

 Chapter 3 , Climb Higher to a New world.

    ''Damnit ! The energy is too potent it''s reducing me to dust upon physical contact.''


    I took a look at where my hand was supposed to be , now, only one remains .


    ''My hand I can''t feel it at all. "Hgkh!" I coughed out in pain


    ''But the pain from legs is still here.''


    ''The giant roots kept spreading across the void soon. i will be engulfed by them and disappear completely. Should I just go back? But how? My legs are already broken by the time I get out !....''

    Within the light, i started to shine, and then i began to fade again and again ''-ugh? Where am I? What happened? ''

    I began to experience a sense of drowsiness before I blanked out each time my body was being destroyed before it was constructed in the same manner my conscious was blanking in and out.


    It felt like I was undergoing a tribulation every moment. Perhaps I am used to this by now?

    As I was going up for the brief moment, I was awake. That''s when I saw it or a vision of it at the very least an absurdly large branch strecth out from within the stem, enclosing all that the eye can see from the branch a collection of huge marbles?


    Their texture seemed so brittle you could say they were made of glass , each and every single one was emanating energy, a very unfathomable amount of energy


    Soon, I went unconscious again, but the next time I woke up, what awaited wasn''t so bright.


    I remember it clearly a dark hand made of shadows stretched out towards me from within one of those structures I tried to fight against it with my power but its strength was overwhelming it held my throat and tried to drag me towards itself.


    It did , it took me into one of those marbles, but that''s when the realisation hit me once I took sight of the glamorous scene and vibrant landscape.


    ''This is a new world.''


    I had escaped from the abyss. I looked up, and for a moment, thought about whats next what I would do in this place and if I ever could find what I lost..


    "Stop thinking."


    "I have made it out. That''s all that matters. I will figure things out with time. "


    I absolutely despised the words that came out of my mouth in that moment ''again..time?''


    "*sigh* Well, at least this place isn''t so bad."

    The terrain before me can be described as such. Islands floating in the sky rivers and lakes flowing to the horizon were separating a large desert on the left. On the right, a lush green forest was full of life, a polar opposite to the barren desert.Both were enclosed by a large mountain range.
