 The Fall

    On an ordinary day, the world was shattered. Without warning, billions of people were ripped from Earth and transported to an alien, hostile world. Each person was transformed into a random monster, their human identities stripped away. The main character, Aaron, wakes up in the dirt¡ªa blind, helpless earthworm. Fear and confusion cloud his mind as he wriggles through the soil, sensing danger everywhere. Desperate to survive, panic surges through him as he tries to come to terms with his new form.Suddenly, a loud, computerized voice echoes in his mind, interrupting his frantic thoughts:¡°Welcome to the world of beasts. You have all been transformed into monsters. Survival is your only goal. Devour the cores of other creatures to evolve into stronger forms. The weak will perish; the strong will live on.¡±The voice fades, leaving everyone confused. Then, out of nowhere, a stat screen pops up in front Name: Aaron

But there¡¯s no time for panic¡ªthe voice made one thing clear: survival means evolution, and evolution requires devouring other monsters.Aaron glances down at his body. His appearance is both simple and unsettling. His two-inch-long form slithers through the dirt, slick and segmented. His mouth¡ªa small, circular opening lined with razor-sharp, constantly rotating teeth¡ªis designed for one thing: to shred through flesh and consume. Though he seems weak now, those teeth make him a hidden predator, with a deadly potential lurking just beneath his slimy exterior.Suddenly, a blinking icon catches his attention¡ªRegional Chat Channel. With a quick thought, Aaron presses it, and his mind is bombarded by messages.


    ¡°What is going on?¡±        ¡°Why did I turn into a beetle?¡±              ¡°Is this a nightmare?¡±       Others are complaining:       ¡°I became a slime! What the hell am I supposed to do with this useless body?¡±            ¡°Did anyone else get that message?¡±                ¡°This is insane! How do we get out of this?¡±               The chat is chaotic. Messages flood in from around the globe¡ªconfusion, panic, anger. Everyone is desperate for answers. Aaron hesitates to speak, feeling just as lost as everyone else, but something becomes painfully clear: this world has rules. And only by devouring others can they evolve. Only the strong will survive.Aaron closes the Regional Chat Channel and starts to adjust to his new body. The hunger inside him is overwhelming, almost primal. He knows what he has to do¡ªdevour another creature. There¡¯s no choice.Using his Heightened Sense ability, Aaron burrows through the soil, detecting vibrations from a small insect nearby.     Aaron struggles to catch up, his new earthworm body frustratingly slow and clumsy. But his instincts keep him focused. He must survive.The insect pauses, nibbling at a piece of debris. Aaron seizes the opportunity. Drilling upward from the soil with his Burrow ability, he lunges at the insect with his rotating teeth. The teeth spin like a blender, catching the creature and shredding it apart. Green blood oozes from the insect¡¯s broken body as Aaron devours it whole, his teeth grinding through bone and flesh.As soon as the insect¡¯s core enters his body, a surge of energy pulses through him. He can feel something change within him, something growing stronger.

Only through this savage new existence can he hope to survive and evolve into something greater.Just as he¡¯s about to burrow deeper in search of his next prey, the ground shakes violently. Something enormous is moving underground, heading straight toward him.Aaron freezes.The screen pops up again, a warning flashing: Approaching Threat: Level 5.The cliffside of the earthworm¡¯s safety has just crumbled. Now, he¡¯s not the hunter. He¡¯s being hunted.
