《Supernatural: Dimensional Adventure Group Chat (Multiverse)》 Chapter 1: Winds Of Change Yellow eyes, If the nickname didn''t explain it enough for you he is a demon with yellow eyes. The killer of Mary Winchester, wife of my father''s best friend. My parents left to go on another hunting trip last week since John Winchester got a few traces of his wife''s killer. A little thank you would be appreciated, I mean I was the one to discover its whereabouts online, not like it matters anyway. I expect him to make good on his promise later on. They were selected to be part of the backup, along with someone named Bobby Singer. They were all invited to kill the bastard once and for all. I could have helped¡ªno, I mean I should''ve been there with my parents fighting. But everyone else seemed to have different plans for me. My plans of killing the legendary yellow eyes died that day. They made me watch a kid named Dean Winchester, with his little brother Sam Winchester. I agreed thinking they would all be back in a few days, but it''s been a few weeks and it''s already February 13. On my birthday, all I have around me to celebrate the damn thing is a little kid with light green puppy dog eyes and my first student. Happy 16th birthday, and happy me, I guess. Lucas''s shock was visible while looking at the mysterious phone that suddenly appeared in his hand. His mundane life ended that day, shattered by that dragon three years ago. Whatever this thing was a new change is on the rise once again. (???) 1987 February 20th Ten thousand years, that''s how long this thing had been sealed for. The ancient creature had previously been sealed up till that moment, but that all changed five years ago. After breaking the seal the first thing it did was to hunt once more. If it could hunt more it would, but the natural order wasn''t so easily broken. Its activity has been inconsistent since its awakening recently. Its prey mostly consisted of monsters and humans alike. Its favorite monsters to hunt all had dragon blood within or were dragons themselves. This entity''s instincts sensed a great change coming, and it didn''t want to miss any of it. "Those pigeons & bats must have planned something with how much preparation they created over the years it''s been awake. To become more active. The insects built themselves a world far greater than the days of old." It spoke with a deep annoyance in its voice as it walked all alone within its dark icy underground castle. Within this dark place, the creature''s glowing green eyes were the only light source around currently. Soon enough it had left its castle to step outside its gates. "*Light*" The entity in question uttered but a single word before the darkness ceased, now it was replaced by the light of the false sky above. This entire territory was illuminated by the man''s earlier spell chant. The light revealed a city-sized underground space that looked to be mimicking a maze. In the middle of this maze was a massive black castle he had previously been asleep in. The ceiling of this massive area was filled with tens of thousands of shining white orbs that made the ceiling light up like the night sky. Each orb was one meter away from each other and each orb was a one-meter sphere in diameter. The light above revealed the appearance of the ancient monster. His body showed him as a muscular young man with dark brown skin with light blue tattoos. The man kept walking forward in the dark, he soon passed by the underground''s complex structures. He found himself remembering pieces of his past. His memories were vague at best, but his surroundings had finally brought back his memories of healing magic. The man in question had light blue tattoos that were shaped like flames around his limbs and eyes. His hair is dark blue with eyes that were green in the dark and blue in the light. He wore baggy dark blue shorts with light blue flame patterns on the sides. He didn''t have a shirt but he did wear a long dark cape as he started walking up the path. His bare feet didn''t feel any discomfort as he walked straight to the exit nearby. "Those insects made some interesting toys, these insects grew in many ways ever since I was gone. Lilith''s spawn from the reverse side of the world has started to play once more." Interest was all those beings had brought him, why must he not treat food as food? Those insects and those of a similar caliber weren''t worth his time. In this world, only a hundred he knew about could rival or surpass my strength. Ultimately this list was pointless since they weren''t even active most of the time with most trying to break that box God left upon creation before HE came to this world and ..... With my current knowledge, I understood only beings above sequence four could ever hope to damage or possibly kill me. After all in a sense, they were descendants of Him. Those powers had to come from somewhere, and they certainly were related to God or his creation. You could argue they were an insertion event, but whatever that thing was, it wasn''t under The Natural Order in authority. He had already killed all the available dragons he could find back then, doing this was the reason he was even able to find out about this. An ancient dragon back in the day unrelated to the Mother Of Monsters witnessed the battle between those two. His memories and powers were all mine once he died to my hang. Before long the man reached the end of the maze. Soon enough he opened the doors of his underground territory, his eyes were met with the icy winds of the snowy wasteland before him. "The bugs called this land Antarctica, due to its climate the insects stayed away. Truly a perfect home indeed." The man spoke aloud all the while as his body started growing in size the moment he came outside. The monster in human form started shifting its form to change as it grew massively. The creature''s skin grew pitch black, its belly turned pale gray. The light blue flame tattoos started to cover parts of its body giving its skin some flaming blue tattoos. Giant wings broke free from his back, and a tail followed along soon after. The creature''s teeth grew sharp, and its previous outfit disappeared like magic. The wings are covered in feathers & scales, it took up a more bird-like appearance than dragonic. His eyes changed as well, its color had turned pure white instead of blue. His hair faded, and his head changed to become denser and bulkier. After all the changes were complete the man in question appeared to cast off his mortal form to reveal its true monstrous form. Now its body gave off a thirst for destruction with a ceaseless desire to devour. After the transformation was complete the man who once stood alone at the entrance was replaced with a huge black dragon with flaming blue tattoos. "I am the king of the dragons, the black dragon of apocalypse. My name is Acnologia. I am here once more." A beastly voice roared, and the dragon flew into the air leaving its territory behind. The black dragon''s official announcement thundered across the entire reverse side of the world and many other realms. Unknowingly the dragon''s roar had fatal consequences for the world later down the line, it was heard by all with special senses. This story has been unlawfully obtained without the author''s consent. Report any appearances on Amazon. -BOOM-! The sound waves that came from that roar caused a massive category 7 earthquake all over Antarctica. This event was mysteriously contained to that continent alone, and its effects did not affect its territory underground. Long after he left a lady appeared by the entrance of his home. The lady had white hair, skin like snow, back eyes, and a black dress. She could be seen looking at a black book. On its pages read something about a family in a pink bubble. On the other page, it talked about her being at an event themed around books with her talking to some boy about his favorite novels. . . . Acnologia flew faster into the air leaving the icy wasteland behind to head to new lands. On its travels it devoured a few sea monsters across the sea, it also flew above a few planes. All of them were either destroyed or devoured, but one plane had its attention briefly before it forgot about it the next minute. ''Someone had used some sort of teleportation ability to escape one of the flying metal bird''s doom.'' Acnologia''s interest was all but a fleeting thought as it flew away. An insect was still a bug no matter its abilities or form. The dragon had unknowingly woken up many sleeping entities across the world. Somewhere in London, a man with a crystal monocle was seen talking to a man with golden hair. In a random hospital, an old deathly pale man in a black suit could be seen holding the hand of a child whose body is covered in tubes. The old man''s right hand was holding the child. His left hand held a huge scythe with a metallic blade and a wooden handle, the weapon gave off an ancient aura. In Japan, a man with stitches across his forehead could be seen holding multiple dark red fingers with sharp black nails inside some sort of container. Within a land of endless blue sand with a huge tree of light in the middle. A blonde-haired woman could be seen. She could be sculpting giant sculptures of titans out of sand. Watching her do all this was a man with a golden crown with blue eyes. His body''s flesh kept squirming, it had a humanoid appearance, but the only thing that looked human was its shape. It appeared to be made out of a massive pile of light gray worms, but that form only showed itself for a moment before it went back to normal. . . . . (???) 1987 February 20th "Mom, is what Dad said about Japan true?" The boy asked while staring at his mom curiously. "Yes, Lucas, what your father told you about Asia with their natural unique hair and eyes is true." Those people also tend to be more beautiful than the average person as well." His mom patiently explained. ''Sorry Lucus, but your father left out some vital information. He didn''t tell you the part where those kinds of people were also more likely to have some kind of supernatural gift as well.''She thought to herself before hearing a faint roar in the distance. She assumed it to be the engines of the plane, but she ignored it entirely, her spells didn''t pick up on anything so it was assumed to be nothing. ''This is the last time I let James pick our way of transportation. Next time I''ll educate him on the other ways we can travel. Ignorance is one thing, but my husband being this ignorant about these things won''t stand on my watch.'' "Emma, don''t forget to tell him those kinds of people aren''t only found in Asian people. While rare people outside of those areas can be born with those features" Irish people for example can be born with red hair. Don''t forget about the celebrities back home, most of those with colored hair are all natural." He spoke casually about this topic, he went on and on with his son about the finer details. My son was lying on his bed nearby. James got the flight attendant to get him some wine while talking to his son. ''I guess this kind of treatment is to be expected from the Gojo clan with the level of wealth they have. They are willing to pay a rental fee of a few million to use my weapons.'' He thought as he patiently waited for his wine. Soon enough the wine he ordered had arrived. He was passing time with his son as they kept talking about what Japan would be like, he also talked about his many adventures with his wife in that country in the past. ''Maybe it''s time I tell him the reason behind us going to Japan'' But, he hasn''t been exposed to the other side yet.'' He thought for a little but ultimately decided to leave it for another time. James unknowingly linked his conversation to the reason behind them going to Japan. "Son, have you heard of the five great clans from Japan? " James asked. "Dad, aren''t they all famous ancient families since the middle ages?" Lucas replied. "You''re partially right, but haven''t you wondered why we are flying first class with our budget? While we aren''t poor, we aren''t exactly well off either, to be spending money on frivolous things. The Gojo clan wanted to borrow something from us, and they had already paid us a down payment in advance. Our tickets were likewise bought by them as well." His son''s eyes glowed as he asked what he expected to happen from his explanation. "Can you show me, please Dad I wanna see, pretty please with cherries on top!?" Lucas''s expression changed into his signature puppy dog eyes attack mode as he called it. These faces were all a ploy to get his father to spill the beans. James struggled a bit before standing firm in his convictions. "This is a business trip, your mother, and I can''t tell you the reason just yet." James subtly shifted the conversation back towards Japan, before finishing his speech hoping his son would forget. Lucas was distracted once more, not by his father''s actions, but by the window right next to him. His father had noticed him being distracted by the window so he questioned him about it. When his father asked why he was so distracted he told him he was looking for sky dragons. "Dad, how high up are we?" Lucas asked his father, but he had a blank look as he turned to his wife. "Lucas, your father doesn''t know everything, if you want to ask anyone, ask me, ok sweetie? We are flying about 40,000 feet above sea level give or take." Emma replied. "Mom you''re 5 ''10, Dad is like 6'' 6, and I''m 5 ''6. So if you stacked like 7500 of me you might reach this height, I think." He told his mom with pride, but she shook her head. ''Your math is wrong Lucas, but you''re still learning. It was pretty close for a guest-based estimation.'' Emma thought as she gave Lucas a head pat. "Oh my god, James, he''s right. Our boy is a little genius." The sarcasm in Emma''s voice went over Lucas''s head, but James got the hint. "Wow, my son is a little genius, what are you going to tell me next, maybe he has a god watching over him, hopefully, that god is a hot goddess or something. Who knows with the level of genius my boy has reached, that goddess might even become his wife." James spoke aloud attracting attention from all nearby passengers. "Mom, Dad stop your. . . " Lucas looked down in shame as his parents kept egging him on with compliments. "Cat got your tongue, Son?" James said while hugging his son. A few passengers looked at the scene with a smile, others had annoyed looks. Some of the people nearby even got a laugh out of the situation only serving to embarrass Lucas even further. During this time while we were relaxing my son kept looking outside the window. I asked him if he liked the sky, but this time he said he saw a giant shadow flying above the clouds far away. The other time before I just chalked it up to Lucas being Lucas, but I felt something different this time. You could call it a gut feeling or my sixth sense acting up, but I had to make sure just in case. I secretly asked Emma to do one of her magical tests quickly to see if we were fine. She came back with nothing at first, but my nerves were still on fire about something going on. In situations like these, I would usually try to leave as soon as possible, but our area restricted that option. My son kept saying it was getting closer, this only served to further set off the alarms in my head. "Emma do it again one more time!!!" I said it out loud this time by accident since my instincts were screaming at me to run. She frowned a little before having a devastating look on her face. She immediately left her seat to hug them both tightly in her loving arms. "James I love you, Lucas my sweet baby boy remember you''re our pride and joy." "Mom, why are you acting so weird? Mom, Dad, look, the giant shadow is coming closer." Our son said as we both saw what he didn''t see outside the window. "*Honey, it looks like the rumors were true after all. The black dragon is back.*" James voiced his thoughts as they all looked outside the window as his wife turned to him to smile weakly. "No matter, we are together as a family, Honey I hope heaven is as nice as the lege---" James didn''t get to finish before the world around him changed immediately in the blink of an eye. A sudden wind blade tore apart the plane in the sky destroying the plane. Over 95% of the passengers on board died instantly, but Lucas T. Bellaster and his family weren''t hurt. They all held hands inside a pink bubble Emma had conjured with a quick hex spell. Yet, such magic was draining, it only stopped the original shockwave damage of the attack. If it was a direct hit the bubble would have popped, and they all would have died at that very moment. "*James, my spell doesn''t have enough juice to save us from the fall.*" "*Emma I always thought we would die after seeing our great great great grandkids.*" He sighed at his fate as this encounter had turned deadly. A few screams could be heard in the distance from fellow passengers who survived the initial wave. Most of the survivors who weren''t killed upon impact were soon killed by the debris fragments from the airplane while falling or died from their new wounds. Out of 240 people on the plane, 228 were killed instantly. Of the 12 people left 3 of them were kept safe in a magic bubble, while the rest were subjected to the next coming incidents. Four more died from their injuries mid-fall, three from the plane fragments launching into their bodies. Only five people remained with only three people remaining uninjured from the accident, the other two had multiple broken bones with burns and scratches all over their bodies. Those two people with all their injuries were barely alive after only two minutes since the initial incident occurred. All of this was caused by the appearance of dozens of wind blades assaulting the airplane out of nowhere. They were all falling at this point with no land in sight above the North Pacific Ocean. They were in the middle of their flight to Japan from California. At this point, everyone would long be dead before help ever arrived. "Wow, Mommy made a pink bubble. We are slowly falling."Can you two give us wings later? I wanna fly together later on." ''Lucid dreams can be pretty realistic sometimes, this dream was way more realistic than the others I''ve had before. I wonder how Mom and Dad will react when I wake them up and tell them.'' "*Honey, I know your magical bubble slowed our fall by over 99% and took all the initial damage, but at this speed, in a few minutes, we will all be dead.*" "*James we don''t have a few minutes, my spell is constantly draining my mana, and soon enough the slow fall feature will shatter.*" Huh, so this is the end after all? What a way to go out. I didn''t think a simple business trip would be the end for me and my family. Our son still thinks this is his usual lucid dream, the same ones he tells us about often. Well, once we hit the water, we will all die instantly from the fall anyway. So, in theory, it will be painless, and we can all meet again in the afterlife. Luckily he can''t hear our conversation right now, as my wife is using her messaging spell. "*Emma, we won''t tell him it''s not a dream. He should die in ignorance peacefully with a sense of wonder rather than die in despair and terror with an unavoidable fate.*" "*But, James shouldn''t we tell him the truth just this once. We have been hiding things from him since he w---*" "*No, Emma we both know the instant we hit the sea we will all die instantly. Let our boy enjoy his peace a little longer.*" The shocked expression leaves James''s face as he turns his head a bit with a smile. "Lucas my boy, you should know dream magic is limited, so just enjoy the scenery as we fall." Emma cries a bit before also smiling like James. "Lucas, don''t worry we will all have wings together the next time you wake up in a different dream in 90 seconds." She explained while trying to comfort her son in a close hug with his father. "Mom, Dad, are you both serious? Wait a sec, did you guys just promise to plan the next dream world?" He asked with a shocked expression as this was the first time his dream planned events for future dreams. ''They are acting strange, but most of my dreams are strange so it doesn''t matter. I wonder what kind of adventure we will have with these wings that are planned for next time?'' Before long the bubble lost its slowing properties and started rocketing towards the sea like a missile. The other passengers were long dead by this point in time, and all the pieces of the plane had long fallen into the sea. A boy could be seen within a pink bubble surrounded by hugs between two people as he kept saying weeee or yaaa while heading downward. Before they hit the ground a miracle happened. The boy''s hair turned half white and his eyes turned orange. The instant this happened the big pink bubble was teleported into the boy''s room, and before long Lucas''s long hair and eyes turned back to normal. The boy''s eyes closed as he fell asleep deeply while his parents held him. The parents looked around in shock as they laid their son to bed while looking around. "Should we...Test him for his gifts? Our son just saved our lives, but no normal child is capable of this kind of power." Emma said nervously trying to come to terms with the insane day they just experienced. "We will do some quick tests, but anything deeper will have Lucas''s involvement. It is time for Lucas to know the truth, we have been hiding too many things from him. Our son being awake for the testing will clue him into what''s going on. Emma, no matter what comes up, he is still our son in the end. He only needs to learn like a hunter. We won''t shelter him any longer." "This needs to change, his gift has shown us he is already part of the supernatural world whether we like it or not. The least we can do for him as parents is teach him how to protect himself." James spoke as his conviction solidified. Chapter 2: Questions (California, San Francisco)1987 February 27th "Honey, he''s human right?" I asked worriedly as they had been doing some tests on him while he was still unconscious the entire week. ''I love my child, but I don''t want some sort of monster possessing or replacing him. I know I said I would love him no matter what. I also said that we would do further testing once he woke up.'' But, it''s already been a week and we need to know more about how to handle this.'' "Yes, James for the tenth time our boy isn''t a shapeshifter in disguise, demon, angel, dragon, or some kind of ancient god. He''s just our sweet little boy." Emma said it like she was reassuring her husband, but in reality, she was just as thankful as him since her baby boy was still himself. ''He is human, but his bloodline is extremely pure and has gained some sort of purifying attributes. He has the potential to become a powerful natural witch, a shattered cursed technique, and some sort of teleportation ability. Those were just the things I could test myself with my abilities. Lucas might have even more talents.'' Emma''s mind wandered while trying to process all the new revelations that came out about her son. "What about his eyes and hair? Light brown eyes turning orange, and his brown hair turning half white isn''t normal either." I asked while sitting down on a nearby chair in his son''s room next to the door. "I''m not sure, but the tests show he is still our baby boy and these sudden changes are possibly just him awakening a new gift. There have been cases of similar events happening in the past, where people''s hair or eyes changed colors permanently or temporarily with the arrival of a new supernatural gift." Emma replied, trying to explain what happened that day with the available information. I guess I''m still on edge, after everything that happened that day, even a week later and I''m still struggling to process all that happened. I even had to refund the Gojo clan''s down payment and pay the major cancellation fee for breaking the contract. It''s all gone... our savings account... I guess we have to start going back to hunting again. With our abysmal financial situation, I don''t see any methods where we can instantly change it, without begging from either one of our families. I couldn''t even tell the Gojo clan what happened, if we explained how we escaped we would inadvertently expose our son''s gifts to the world. We can''t even lie, since I know with their influence they can employ people with similar abilities to Emma in that department. I can only hope my vague but truthful explanation didn''t damage our reputation too much. I essentially said we couldn''t accept it anymore due to circumstances of late, which was true, but ultimately vague enough to not give any real details on why. "Well no matter what, we just need to train him from now on. No child of ours is going to be willfully weak without reason." I tried to expressed my thoughts with multiple plans, with multiple complex explanations to my wife talking about our son''s future. "Honey bear, you teach him your forging techniques and close combat techniques. I''ll teach him everything I know about magic & monsters." Emma spoke with pride as her baby boy had even more potential than the head of her last witch coven. He might even grow to rival her grandma or even surpass her. They kept talking for awhile about their future teaching styles till they eventually started to finally iron out the details. . . . ''Maybe it was the magical potions & rituals I did to myself and my husband over the years. They might have affected our childbirth, maybe they even enhanced our bloodlines or something leading to our monstrous son''s potential. My family advised against those rituals; They warned me it lowered fertility to the extreme, but that wasn''t the case since my son''s birth proved them wrong. My cousin Ben was even shocked by my baby boy''s birth for some odd reason.'' ''Then again that hag was a true genius; Her blood runs in both of our veins so she must have sensed it. Blood magic may be powerful, but it''s a rather troublesome art to even learn. I hope that bitch learns to keep quiet about this, we all know her friends aren''t the best at keeping secrets'' We both had been talking inside our son''s room for the last few hours now. My husband had already changed out the IV bags attached to our son a few times by now. I had told him about son''s body desperately seeking out an energy source awhile ago. we had to constantly replace the magical blue fluid every so often, it may have been a ton of work, but was one of the few solutions we had at the moment. . . . Going to the hospital would just expose our son''s unique situation, causing more harm than done. They don''t even have the tools available to help. If they did that would be even worse for them. Telling another hunter, witch, or person would just increase the chances of the secret getting out. Going to either side of the for family for help was too risky in my opinion. Both sides of the family had too many eyes watching them, each of our families were famous were different reasons. Support the author by searching for the original publication of this novel. Grandpa Max and my wife''s twin sister Gwen could help, but Ben attracted too much attention with his hero work over the decades, and going to them would bring too much risk. Going to them might cause even more harm than good at this point with Ben offending multiple organizations and cults alike with his hero work. My wife and I have both seen our fair share of the darker side of the supernatural community. We had both seen firsthand how those with special powers, but no real protection in the forms of powerful families, influential friends, and powerful organizations backing them end up like in the end. Out of every thousand cases where a loner is found with special powers 950 of them don''t survive long in the end. We had both seen cases where those more talented than ourselves were sold to the highest bidders on the supernatural black market. The only difference between us and them was the fact we both had a deep connection inadvertently due to our family''s help. From what I had seen over the years most of the buyers of those people with special abilities were often demons or some sort of monster looking for powerful bodies. The other kind of buyers were dark witches looking for powerful slaves. The last kind of buyer we had experience with were those mysterious researchers... The point was that it never ended up good for those who were discovered while weak and protectionless. The lucky ones who weren''t noticed are either lucky or smart, but out of the bunch, the smart ones last the longest in my opinion. We may sell monster parts to the black market like most hunters. But we both understand by now how it all works, in these underworld marketplaces. The only reason hunters aren''t sold as well is due to 99% of hunters are literal humans with just some magical knowledge and tools. Hunters know the weaknesses of monsters, they understand how to kill them. With most that information being public knowledge it wasn''t very valuable to anyone in the market. The other fact was that most of the tools hunters carried on them were basic mundane items. These reasons alone made it pointless to go after a hunters, you have more to lose than you might gain. To even enter these kinds of places you must have some sort of intelligence and self-control, or else you would never make it past the gate. . . . It was already 2 pm and the IV bag James attached earlier was instantly devoured. Soon enough Lucas started moving his arms as he started to wake up. The moment he woke up his light brown eyes turned orange for a few seconds before turning back to normal. I looked around my bed and only to see my light green bed sheets and pillows. I was very hungry oddly enough, was I that tried last night. I shouldn''t be this hunger after sleeping like maybe 8 hours, not like it matters I''ll just grab the white chocolate bar under my pillow as a snack. I started eating it before looking around my room. His bed was in the middle of the room behind the window. All the walls were light blue and the floor was a light gray carpet, and the ceiling was gray. To his right his dad with the bedroom door next to him. On his left, his mom sitting in his gaming chair next to his desktop gaming pc. Next to the pc laid his bookshelf full of fantasy books. In front of his bed was his closet which was full of his old and new toys his parents got him with his clothes. "Mom, Dad you won''t believe what happened in my dream last night. Oh ya why do I have this tube thing in my left arm with that metal pole thing and it''s a weird empty plastic bag." I''m trying to remain calm, but I need to tell them quickly before it''s details before super vague in a few hours. "Sweetie you know we love you and you will always be my baby boy, but how much do y----," Emma said while trying to ease her way into what happened, but James wasn''t that kind of man. "Son, everything that happened in your dream was real. Just look at this, my boy." James said as he activated his cursed energy around his fists next to his son. Soon enough my eye''s were wide open as I saw blue flames with a pitch-black outline around them. I quickly turned to mom to see if she was seeing what I was seeing, but her glasses had the very same flames upon them. ''Am I still sleeping, I guess I''m still sleeping after all since this isn''t possible.'' I thought before trying to lay back down. The moment my head met my pillow I heard my dream dad say something once again. "This isn''t a dream son, this is very real," James said as he lightly hit his son on the head to get him to see the truth. "What the hell was that for man, my head freaking hurts now." I had said before I opened my eyes once more to give this place a look. ''I can feel things in my dreams, but never this much, it''s also never painful.'' "Pain....pain...., so this isn''t a dream right dad?" I asked nervously as I felt like my own reality was shattering before my eyes. How long had they been hiding this from me? "Grow up Son, why are you freaking out at the existence of this mundane stuff when you have so much to learn." James smiled as his wife giggled at her husband''s antics. 3 hours later... "So are vampires real?" "Yes, son, how many times do I need to tell you." "What about ummm, werewolves?" "Yes" "Angels?" "Angels and demons are real too, Lucas." "Wow, Dad, what about the ummm, sea monsters?" "Yes, most types of sea monsters are real." "How about those spirit things?" "Spirits come in many forms and types, but they are also real." "Mom, Dad told me you are a witch is that true and if it is, is magic also real?" "Is my baby boy curious about magic, don''t worry I will teach you all about that later on." "WOW, THANKS MOM YOUR BEST PARENT EVER!" "HEY, what about you dear old pops, aren''t I the best parent ever too?" "Umm, ya you are too dad, I mean ya dad you''re the best." ''What does my wife have over me that our son would love her more? Stupid magic, I also have something special. Cursed energy is just as powerful I tell you.'' I thought while I held back my tears at my sudden injustice. "Dad, what about god or gods in general, if angels and demons are real then a god of sorts must be real." ''Huh, he took the hint and realized it for himself after our afterlife talk an hour ago.'' "Yes god is real, not too sure about Jesus though, and most gods in all religions also exist." ''How can God be real when the trinity exists in Christianity? I''ll ask more about that later.'' Lucas thought while patiently sitting in his bed. "So when you said every kind of monster with any sort of mythical figure you could think of probably exists you weren''t kidding?" "Still surprised you remembered what I said two hours ago, son. But, ya they all exist, and don''t ask why it just does, I don''t know everything, son." "Ok, but Dad, what about Bigfoot?" "Maybe...., I''m not too sure about that one. It might be another type of monster that existed and gained the title of bigfoot." "Dad, this is getting confusing now." " Don''t worry Lucas, we all were like you when we started." "Dad, one more question everything we just talked about exists from monsters to literal gods of legend, and most supernatural creatures exist. What about aliens? Dad, what about the creatures from outside this world or those from space." ".... Lucas stop the crazy talk already. Aliens don''t exist boy. I know that might sound insane with all the things I told you exist, but from what we can gather aliens probably don''t exist." ''I guess my old friend''s dream of marrying an alien space princess from Star Wars died before it could sail.'' Lucas thought giving a silent tear to his old fallen comrade. "Mom, you said you and Dad were going to train me like you 3 hours ago, right?" "Yes, but rest up first we will train you tomorrow." She said as she got up to make dinner before Lucas''s father got up with her to help her in any way he could. I can''t wait for tomorrow, my life has finally gotten cool like those books I read. I wonder if my story was written out like a book would I be the main character? Naaa, that''s impossible. I don''t even have a cheat-like power like those characters I read in the past. Where is my infinitely expanding harem of cardboard cutouts, where is my endless army of idiotic mobs that seek my death? My life got the change it needed desperately. It doesn''t mean I''m the center of the world or anything, but I''m loving these changes. How arrogant do I have to be for that to be my thought process instantly? Tomorrow is my time to shine, in a new chapter of my life. I can''t wait to learn magic and be a legendary wizard like those novels I read in the past. Chapter 3: Spiders & Knowledge I had a dream. It was an endless sea of gold as far as the eye could see, no matter how far I walked upon the surface of this sea I couldn''t reach its end. The waves beneath my feet allowed me to rise a little higher sometimes as I walked across this golden sea. The sky was a dark starless canvas with its most prominent features being the two orange moons overhead. The night sky was dyed a light orange hue from the moons high above. Before long I saw a flame in the far distance, it was black & blue with it constantly shifting its shape as it blew in the nonexistent wind. As I got closer to the flame I started to notice how big this thing was. It was bigger than any builder I''ve seen before in San Francisco, it was bigger than any mountain I''ve seen before while in Japan. The gigantic pillar of flames was surrounded by an endless string of golden chains that came from the sea below. Before I could ever reach the flame the world around me shifted as an unknown fog appeared out of nowhere. I started to see less and less as I was engulfed by a thick cover of light gray fog. While the fog was all-encompassing, it couldn''t block out the glowing light of the golden from beneath my feet. In this foggy realm, all I had with me was the light of the sea and the soft orange light from the twin moons above my head. I could still see those black and blue flames, but it felt like it was forever out of my touch. I had planned on telling my parents all about my dream like I did in the past with all the others, but I couldn''t put my finger on it. Did I have a dream last night, did that happen? Something about two orange moons, a sea... a sea of what? What was I even thinking about again? If I forgot about it whatever it was probably wasn''t all that important in the first place. Soon enough, I sat down quietly. While Inside the living room, I was just sitting on the light red couch. I started to admire the walls out of nowhere, its light gray color reminded me of something, but I couldn''t put my finger on it. The birchwood floors reminded me of the moon for some odd reason, but I couldn''t remember why... I disliked the entire downstairs floor choice at this poing, he was always wearing socks downstairs due to it having no carpet, unlike the entire second floor. The kitchen & bathrooms had white marble floors. The bedrooms, hallway, and everything else downstairs had birchwood floors. He was the only one wearing socks downstairs usually. His parents had owned this place for over twenty years, and by now his issues were something they had gotten used to ages ago. The control his father had over the thermostat downstairs was unbelievable. It was usually the same temperature as the fridge most months for some odd reason. His large black safety blanket was his only oasis in this icy world during any season but winter. His mother''s agreement was odd as well. They weren''t that strict upstairs about the temperature. It was only after it was winter that they gave in about the thermostat. The entire house was usually divided into two layers. The upstairs was always warm, and the downstairs was like a snowstorm 24/7. The only time they raised the temperature was during the winter seasons or else It was always chilly. ''Why did I think of that again, I had already thought of it earlier in a different way. Why am I thinking about this, I''ll worry about that later, my head is feeling weird.'' Today was a different story. I was sitting on the downstairs couch with Mom sitting across from me. The trails I dealt with in other months weren''t an issue today. Today is the day I officially began stepping into the mysterious world. The same world my parents have been living in for who knows how many years. . . . Mom was sitting across from me in front of the TV by the coffee table. Speaking of coffee I wonder if that cup on the table is black coffee or the kind I like, I can never really tell with Mom since he likes both kinds. Dad was being Dad as he sat upon his self-claimed recliner. I thought we agreed as a family the damn recliner was for the family not something for personal use alone DAD. Is he sleeping right now... He is, I guess that newspaper on his face is to block out the light or something. Maybe Dad fell asleep like that in the first place since the recliner is just that comfortable. Is it just me or does the floor have eyes or something, na it must be a weird wood pattern or something. Mom hasn''t said anything yet, she might be studying that book of hers or something. I wonder if the wall has any weird patterns. It was just a light gray wall with a white spider with a black book on its back as a symbol. That spider looks kinda weird, is it magical or something maybe it''s mom''s pet. Maybe I''m right cause I never heard about any normal spider looking like that. Perhaps that spider... White Spider was a..... Spider with the black book has something... What spider, what book, was I thinking of something again. That wall by the TV is perfectly normal with nothing going on. Did I see something again no we saw something, I mean Lucas the new toy didn''t see anything. Before long my attention was brought to mom as she started talking after putting the book down "Sweetie, today we will be talking about many important things. The first topic will involve us as a family and the powers we have access to. Just like your father told you yesterday, I am a witch who uses magic. Sweetie, the magic we weld is something we inherited as a family. The source of this power dates back to your great-great-grandfather, your great-great-grandmother." "Grandpa Max was something of a rare & powerful human with incredible levels of magic power. He may have also had a unique taste for certain kinds of mythical races. He married two women, one was a 1st generation shapeshifter, and the other was an ancient witch." "Our family''s abilities come from both Grandpa Max and that dirty witch." "Mom, why do you keep calling her a witch instead of her name?" Lucas asked as she kept looking mad whenever she talked about his great-great-grandma. "I''ll tell you when you get older, but that bi¡ª- women is one of the reasons we have magic. I won''t talk any further about this. The talks of magic are for another day. Your father kept going on and on yesterday about my magic, yet forgot to mention he also had powers." "Your father uses something called cursed energy and has a tool forging cursed technique. Cursed energy is like magic as to succeed you need talent." "Do I have cursed technique as well? If I have the magical potential I got from you, then I must have inherited a cursed technique, or whatever." he asked hoping for the answer he wanted to come, that was not to be. "Sweetie... you are a bit of a special case you see. It''s not that you are inferior to anyone, but you were just born without the ability to use that kind of power. Son in the Jujutsu sorcerer world they would either call you a blank or... It''s not that you don''t have a cursed technique, but it was formed incorrectly, sweetie. You have a massive pool of cursed energy as well from my tests, but something is stopping you from accessing it." I said trying to get my baby boy to not feel bad about his so-called disability in the Jujutsu world. "Yesterday you were able to see cursed energy since your body awakened that day. Something changed within your body that caused you to be able to see them clearer. Before your awakening, we noticed you saw cursed spirits, but they were all blurry and couldn''t be fully seen. We usually destroyed all the ones around the house. We also did the same with any you pointed out." ''So I wasn''t crazy after all, those blurry bastards existed, but my parents kept saying they weren''t real.'' Lucas''s hands tightened at the realization of all the lies he faced over the years. He calmed down as he knew it was for him. "Just a reminder these are the results found from the tests: 1. You can see cursed energy and spirits, but not use any techniques or the energy. 2. You have a powerful magical potential, but no magical knowledge to use it." "The other two abilities you have are strange as no one in the family naturally has these abilities. Your blood has some sort of purifying properties so any sort of corruption, curse, negative energy, or object can be fully purified with your blood. So in theory, it''s harder for you to be possessed by an evil entity in general. This might also be one of the reasons you can''t use cursed energy. But since your father can still see your cursed energy it seems unlikely." "The last ability you have is some sort of teleportation ability. We don''t know any of its activation conditions. So we will do some training and tests in the future." The story has been stolen; if detected on Amazon, report the violation. ''We know you have something, but we can''t find anything on our tests to discoer this teleportation ability. Hopefully we can find something in the future with further training'' I thought to myself "Are those all the abilities I have, Mom? Does that mean I can be like Superman and save the world?" Lucas asked while he got off the couch to start jumping around with a smile. My face twitched at the fact my son wanted to be a hero, even more so when he picked Superman as his ideal. ''No son of mine is going to be a crazy heroic bastard. Your Uncle Ben with his shapeshifter abilities is bad enough. We don''t need another hero in the family. Grandpa Max with his plumber business was another story altogether. Seems me and your father need to wipe that heroic bone out of our baby boy''s body.'' "Sweetie, while you have great potential you don''t have any real experience or power to help anyone or save even yourself for that matter. Just focus on our next lesson and take your training seriously this week." I expressed hoping my baby boy wouldn''t become a self-sacrificing freak who would value the life of a stranger more than themselves or family. "Ok Mom, but just watch me, I am going to become the strongest, you''ll see." Lucas said as he sat back down on the couch. I paused for a bit before asking if my son was hungry or thirsty before continuing. "Sweetie, as you already know this world is full of almost every type of creature under the sun. Our previous lecture talked about different abilities within the family, but now I will talk about the different abilities seen around the world." ''Mom didn''t talk about her parents or anyone on dad''s side of the family. Maybe she will talk about this later on'' Lucas zoned out a bit before refocusing on his mom. I paused for a bit to give my baby boy some time to think for himself before continuing my lesson. "In this world there exist many beings, sweetie, many of them follow completely different rules in how they use or gain power. I will mostly be explaining what I know so hold your questions till the end, and use the notebook I gave you to write down anything you want like your questions for example." ''Guess mom''s signature lecture is going to start, finally, it''s about something seemingly more interesting than math, history, English, Latin, Japanese, Chinese, or the other languages she forced me to learn.'' Lucas thought as he had always dreamed of learning magic while reading. "Sweetie, as your mother, I will be teaching you everything I know, but we have to start with the basics first to understand what kind of powers exist. With some basic history with the secret history behind these powers." ''Secret History about special abilities¡.., maybe I can pay attention to history for once if it involves these subjects.'' he thought to himself "Be aware that I don''t know everything. There probably are some other classifications and power systems out there, I have no idea about sweetie." ''Huh, never thought mom wouldn''t know something like this. I''ve tested her knowledge in the past and anything I can think of was already known by her. From the random facts in the books, I read to all the problems I have at school. Her only flaw was her and dad''s refusal to use the internet for an extended time.'' He thought to himself, before reflecting a bit. ''So most things online are unknown to her and dad, we didn''t even have a TV, pc, or internet till I was eight, I had to beg them for it.'' He frowned for a second remembering his dark boring past. "As your father told you yesterday, I am a witch and he is a hunter. I use magic and he uses cursed energy. These are two widespread power systems throughout the world. Japan has the highest number of cursed energy users or as they call them jujutsu sorcerers. Magic and witches can be seen everywhere, but generally, they gather around places of magic." ''Did she seriously forget she had already told me this like 20 minutes ago? Wait, why do I remember her conversations so clearly now.'' Lucas thought ''I see, that the awakening they mentioned last night also improved my memory, mom & dad would usually have to repeat themselves for the information to stick back in the day.'' Lucas''s mind went into a daze as his mind felt more clear than ever. Soon enough he appeared standing on top of a golden sea with two orange moons above him. The sky was light gray with an orange hue of the shining moons above. In the middle of this sea was a huge black and blue flame with golden chains sealing it. With every step Lucas took he walked closer and closer to the flame. ''I kept talking for a while, but as I got to talking about the seven wonders of the world, and the dragon veins section of my talk, I felt something strange. My instincts were on fire for some strange reason like never before they were telling me to look to my back towards the TV. I didn''t even see anything weird besides a white spider on the wall. A white spider by the wall with a black... black book-shaped symbol on its back. HOW THE HELL DID THEY GET IN OUR HOME???'' I was about to launch an attack on the abomination that got inside our home. But I didn''t see any abomination, everything was fine. I was just teaching my son about... about.... about.... Yes, my son is fine, everything is normal at home, nothing to worry about. I am Emma, and I feel fine and safe inside my perfectly normal home. "Son, are you paying attention." I said as my left spot to go towards the couch near my son. I arrived in front of my son, but my baby boy didn''t even notice his poor mother standing before him. He''s zoning out like usual, but my baby boy isn''t going to zone out while I teach him this time. I shook him a bit with love, but even that didn''t wake him up, if my voice and shaking him didn''t do the trick, my baby boy has left me with no options left. I used a double combo I knew would wake my little sunshine up from wherever he was right now. I gave him a big old hug before I gave him a little kiss on the forehead. With that kind of combo, my baby boy would wake up from almost anything. Lucas was in deep thought as he was close to reaching enlightenment with his sudden epiphany his mind became clearer than ever. Before he could truly comprehend the black and blue flames within his mind, the gold sea around him grew restless. Lucas was mindlessly walking towards the flame and just before he could reach it, he felt an invisible pair of arms lock around him holding him in place. Soon enough his surroundings faded, and he woke up with a hug and a kiss. "MOM, I told you not to kiss me anymore. I''m not a kid anymore, I''m already 13 ok." Lucas said while forgetting about his previous mysterious travel once again. "Son, if you don''t want to be treated as a child, then pay attention like an adult." I said jokingly as I released my son from my hug. Soon enough I went back to her old spot to sit down. ''Something''s wrong Emma YOU CAN FEEL IT, BUT WHAT"S WRONG? WHAT''S HAPPENING HERE? I am Fine, fine. Fine. Fine. Fine.'' I thought to myself CALMLY. . . . The white spider went unnoticed as it sat on the 85-inch flat-screen TV. It almost seemed like it was listening as well with interest. "Unlike your father''s gifts, you completely inherited my witch talents, you even surpassed my potential." I said with a frown thinking my my own talent compared to everyone in the family. ''It seems my grandmother''s talents skipped me alone, but Gwen and my father were given the full package. That was probably the reason why she favored Dad and Gwen more than me growing up.'' I stopped reflecting before continuing our lesson. "Hunters are mostly humans who rely on knowledge to use the weaknesses of what they hunt to kill them. Most monsters don''t train to be strong but were just born that way with those kinds of powers." "That''s the general way monsters obtain power, but demons unlike monsters can get stronger if they obtain a certain status in hell or have some souls under their command to use to empower themselves. That is the general way demons gain power. They use souls as batteries to fuel demonic methods to empower themselves." "This isn''t something uniquely done by demons with souls being very valuable in general son. Souls contain an unbelievable amount of energy, this unique energy can''t be stolen or used without consent to my knowledge. These are the reasons demons are willing to grant you any mortal wish, as your soul is infinitely more valuable than the gold, status, or power they give you for it." "An example to help you picture the value of a soul would be this. Imagine a person had a nuke capable of destroying an entire city like New York entirely. But, this person was unable to use said nuke. So another person came by with an offer. They told them they would give them a single building with one grenade capable of destroying a single small minivan. All of these usable items would be given to them if they just sold the nuke to the man making the deal. He would try to say you can''t use the nuke anyway. Then finish it off by saying you might as well sell it to me while getting something valuable and useful in return." I explained hoping my son would understand the value of souls in this world. ''So nothing in the world is equal to your soul huh? I''ll ask Mom later on how to train my soul, who knows maybe having a strong soul might make me stronger. I wonder what kind of knowledge will be involved in that field, I can''t wait to learn all about it.'' he thought to himself. "Most monsters or creatures of myth don''t train to gain strength but just exist and get strong powers. Beyonder pathways are the way anyone can gain power easily. The Flow power system is another method. Monsters/demons from a certain dimension have demon energy. Angels have sacred energy, the highest form of spiritual energy around. Something only heroes of myth can obtain. We''ll talk about this further another time." "Almost every other power system requires talent or a special bloodline to use. Hunters gain strength via knowledge of those they hunt, creatures in myth are inherently powerful, and using souls requires knowledge and ability. Hunters don''t count as they are just regular humans with knowledge about monsters." ''Mom and Dad are hunters, so chances are I will also become one later on.'' "Your father''s gifts are like those of a monster, they also have a chance to get stronger with training. Cursed techniques aren''t made, they are something you are born with. The cursed energy power system is 80% innate talent and 20% hard work and training." ''80% talent, 20% hard work, that doesn''t sound very user-friendly.'' Lucas''s disappointment at his crippled status in the Jujutsu sorcerer world was telling just from his thoughts alone. "The sequences in any pathway offer an insane amount of power, but it is also an easy way to go insane. Becoming a Beyonder is extremely dangerous in the long term." ''Becoming a Beyonder sounds dangerous, but perhaps if I do it correctly, it can be very rewarding. Mom says it''s dangerous, but maybe I can do it since my blood will probably purify some of the corruption. When did she talk about the corruption again, yes she did talk about it, yes...'' Lucas giggled a bit at the endless future possibilities. "Most Beyonders are hidden from the public. These individuals are the most hidden most of the time. The Flow power system isn''t something we use, so if you want to learn more you need a teacher for that." ''I''ll leave that up to Mom, maybe she knows someone that can teach me..'' "Those who become Beyonders fight against themselves, and Gods who seek to corrupt them into whatever they see fit. Almost everything you do as a Beyonder is dangerous. But taking on this path is very rewarding with the power it grants. I and your father chose not to become a Beyonder, as we felt it was too risky. If you ever want to become one. Never choose any of these five pathways, Demoness, visionary, Abyss, Error, and Chained. All of them are either owned by powerful groups or powerful gods." ''I hope my boy stays far away from those monsters, madness is eternal, and logic & reason are merely a temporary state for a Beyonder. Those who walk on that doomed path are destined to be crazy in the end. You only need to look towards the church of the Fool who''s god was .....'' "There might be other pathways to watch out for Lucas. Be careful, we don''t know the ins and outs of Beyonder politics, and these five pathways are just the ones we know to stay away from." I said trying to keep my son''s attention away from Beyonders with all my heart for some reason. ''I didn''t understand it myself, but I KNEW he had to stay away in general. Maybe we should learn about them more deeply, no he''s my son he can''t... But Emma if he learns about it he''ll be happy and powerful. Teach him more. Let him learn more Emma.'' I thought. . . . ''Sounds like mom purposely left out some information. Can these Beyonders help one become a God? Become a God¡ Be a God¡. DIVINITY!'' ''Why be a hero or a wizard, when you can be a God!'' The instant he had this idea he felt being a God was a better dream than being an Arch Wizard. All his other dreams didn''t seem to matter anymore as being a God was all that mattered. Eternity. . . Infinite knowledge. . . Endless possibilities!!! Unknowingly without anyone noticing the white spider was on Lucas''s shoulder as its mouth warped to form a smile. Without missing a beat the spider turned invisible and vanished. "Son, remember when I said we were going to talk about ancient history and huge secrets?" I asked, making sure my lovely son paid attention enough to handle the next topic." "Ya I got it mom, you don''t need to repeat yourself anymore. That awakening or whatever improved my memory, so now I feel wonderful." Lucas replied with a joyful tone as he started smiling uncontrollably. ''My baby boy never smiled that often..., but it''s probably all in my mind. He might just be very excited.....yes excited that...that''s all it is. My...my baby boy is normal. My baby boy is normal, YES.'' "One more thing, Mom can becoming a Beyonder help you become a GOD!" Lucas held back a bit as he sounded a little crazy saying, God. But, oddly enough, his mom didn''t notice it and answered his question calmly enough to him. "Yes, Lucas you would be¡ be¡ bee ri¡right. I..If you beco¡.be..be become a Beyonder you CAN BECOME A GOD, YES, LUCAS BEING A GOD IS GOOD!!!" . . . Emma''s loud shout woke up me as I got off his seat to look around while still half asleep. I kept hearing these weird songs in the back of my head, they sang of greed, imagination, and something he couldn''t understand. Next, the songs turned into the sounds of random insects crawling around, with whispers playing in the background of my head. It was in a language I never heard before it almost sounded otherworldly. The voices stopped once I truly opened my eyes to look around in horror as my body was covered in webs. I used his cursed techniques forging flames to burn them off his body before looking around. My eyes opened in terror as my wife and son were covered in spider webs with a white spider on the living room ceiling the size of a basketball with a black book as a symbol on its back. The room''s light turned red giving the entire room a red hue. Chapter 4: Blacksmith VS Spider Within seconds of seeing the madness before him, I got ready to summon my accursed vault. ''My wife and son were unconscious, but still breathing, at least they were still alive. I need to be quick and kill this monster as quickly as possible. Something must have influenced Emma''s mind for her to let this happen. She''s just as strong if not stronger than me, she wouldn''t allow herself to fall this low unless something went wrong.'' I thought before I steeled myself for what was to come. My wife''s potions in her room can probably deal with any issues they may be facing. If the potions failed to do anything Emma''s grandpa or grandma could probably save the day. I doubt my parents would even lift a finger to do anything after all they did to me. My hands lit on fire with black and blue flames as my curse energy started raging like a storm with everything I was feeling right now. With this, all I need to do is activate my technique. "With this move, I summon my Accursed Vault. LET YOUR ACCURSED TRESSURES FILL THE LANDS!" I yelled as I started moving my hands together. My hands made a triangle with my thumbs and pointer fingers together. After that, I joined them together in a clasping motion. Finally with all the preparation done my hands formed a bird''s shape before my technique fully activated. "*Domain Expansion, Accursed Vault Of The Inverted Sky.*" My hands were now free as they glowed with black and blue flames. My body got into a boxing position. "Welcome to my Inverted paradise." I said trying to taunt the monster into making a reckless first move to active my hidden binding vow that would enhance my attack potency. With the activation of the domain, a wave of controlled flames filled the area. These gold flames burned all the spiderwebs in the area. They were intent-based flames who only hurt those the owner sought to cause harm. The flames were harmless against my wife and son. They were aimed to destroy these webs, and the white spider behind this all. Soon enough the entire landscape changed with the domain''s completion. They were all standing on a platform made of rusty old weapons. The sky was a perpetual sunset with a purple sun shining its light down below. Most of the time my use of his golden flames was deadly upon contact. Most monsters I had faced in the past would instantly, or at the very least, be very injured. From vampires, werewolves, low-ranking beyonders, and even other jujutsu sorcerers in his rank. The white spider however was completely fine after that attack and didn''t have a single burn on them. The spider in question had a creepy smile on its face the moment James saw its unharmed appearance. "MODE 3, ACT 7 ACTIVATE" I instantly blurted out in shock. Outside the domain, and back inside the house my voice activated the secret defensive magic system. The entire house lit up with blue and purple runes giving off a negative aura. The magic tattoo of a small black mole under my left eye allowed my voice to bypass the domain and activate the magical systems outside of it. The runes seemed to empower me, but my mind wandered in wonder thinking if I was strong enough to beat this monster. My next move summoned massive black shields with purple runes on them above his head. These shields materialized from the air with my domain''s blessing. ''Curse energy reinforcement is such a useful technique. Hopefully, this enhancement will help to further even things between me and this monster... They are without a doubt beyond a 5th-grade jujutsu sorcerer or else they would have been vaporized in that attack. That attack could have destroyed an entire building. Maybe they grade 4 or 3 in terms of power.'' I thought as my body''s durability and strength went up to another level with his 5h grade curse energy reserves. . . . ''I never fought a monster of this level before. But, there is a first time for everything. First things first, these shields need to protect my family before I can even think of using them myself.'' The Bug''s face was so contorted with rage that he might make a demon blush, how cute. The dark shields flew to instantly contain the Bug''s family before the Bug tried to face off against the baseball-sized white spider now turned Arachne. ''Hey, I''ll have you know my spider form is glorious, little bug...'' I thought while enjoying the story the Bug was giving me inside his head. ''He described me to be about 6 feet tall, but I was closer to 2 meters in reality. He described my lower half as being a spider, while it''s true you could word it nicer you bug. (Wow, you just noticed I had eight black eyes were you staring at something else, Mr. Bug?) She had white hair. (Oh now you''re staring at my hair too how creative.) She was holding a blank black book close to her large chest that was bandaged up with silk tightly. (Wow... Mr. Bug what would your doll sex...I mean wife think if she knew you were staring at another woman.)'' The Bug thought as he looked upon my glorious form. ''I was incredibly gorgeous to the point I could easily claim to be a supermodel by mortal standards, wow thank you Mr. Bug maybe you aren''t so bad after all. He couldn''t care one bit about how beautiful this monster(Rude..) was, you''re not going to mess with my family and get away with it. He can''t move first as that''ll be reckless, he needed to learn a bit more before he could even attempt to attack me with its measly attacks.'' This is gold, comedy gold I tell you, this Bug sure knows how to keep a gal entertained. "My name is Arachneras Rachnee, I am a servant of the Witch Of Greed. James Bellaster, I''m sorry, I didn''t mean to go that far with your family." her words were saying she was sorry, but I read her body language like a book. (Are you sure you''re not on the Visionary Pathway Mr. Bug... You''re kinda acting like one with your poor analysis. Does he think I was hiding my emotions before a mere BUG, why would I hide before someone of your rank.) . . . ''This fucking spider is treating us as a joke, the bug said internally. Does he think I can''t read his mind like his family? Why wouldn''t I be relaxed as a bug with a clown outfit giving such wonderful entertainment'' "My master told me to watch your family eight days ago. When your son caught her attention. Having a teleportation ability that can travel anywhere they have been to in the past is incredibly rare for a human. It''s even more rare that said ability can bypass magical barriers, just like the ones in your home." I remarked as I gleefully teased the bug in front of me. James was about to lash out, but his sense of reason overpowered his rage. It made him gather as much information as possible. ''Witch of Greed, a God is looking at my son with interest¡ A witch cult member is acting on the orders of Greed. That witch loves knowledge and isn''t the type to do cruel acts without reason, I need more information right now!'' The little clown bug thought as he kept trying to make some pointless plans. ''Oh look at him, is Mr. Bug angry at little old me right now.'' My face should look rather sympathetic in the eyes of others. While this was how I looked on the outside I was actually laughing insde at the harmless rage the bug had while trying to control himself. It''s so cute I almost want to put him in a little cage to remain as my little Viking pet.Stolen from its rightful place, this narrative is not meant to be on Amazon; report any sightings. "What the hell is a servant of the witch of greed doing here, what did you do to my family!" The Bug yelled as he tried to control himself. James''s rage blinded him just now as Rachnee just told him the reason behind his son catching the witch of greed''s attention. ''My domain summons copies of every tool I ever made buffed with domain and cursed energy. I''m not talented enough to make an instant hit domain so launching weapons at high speeds with my wife''s golems attacking is the best I can do.'' (Noted, please tell me more oh power Bug) ''My golden flames were created by a binding vow, and can only be used when forging my items, or when my domain is activated. These flames are meant to be a heavy hitter, but they didn''t even harm her. Using them to burn her webs on me earlier was a loophole. The webs counted as a forgeable material.'' The Bug thought as the ring around his wrist glowed and hundreds of magical golems appeared. ''Oh is that what his cursed technique does '' I thought. She did not know she had activated the binding he set up in place long ago where if he tells his enemy about his technique in any form it''ll get stronger. . . . The golems types ranged from wooden dolls with drawn-on faces to stone golems five meters in height built in a square design. Of the hundreds of golems ranging from wood, stone, and iron were 10 elites crafted from Blackstar metal with purple runes all over them standing 3 meters tall. The elite golems looked exactly like regular human males but with purple runes all over with abyssal black skin. ''I could kill this bug at any time, but it''s been so boring just watching these last eight days. Oh look, the bug brought out some brand new toys. Let me see If I can steal control of those golems from the bug, '' I thought as I tried to use my abilities on those new toys Mr. Bug was so kind enough to show me. Soon enough the false brains and magic systems within the golems started to rebel against Bug''s wishes. Even though he knew the golems could help, especially the elite ones, he had to put them back. (Cry me a river why don''t you) Shortly after being summoned, the golems were unsummoned. My idea of fun was trying to steal control from Bug''s authority over the golems with my supreme powers. ''It''s better to fight alone with the items I can control. Then fight with something uncontrollable that might kill me.'' Bug''s teeth started grinding against each other in anger. His fists tightened up even more, drawing some blood from the pressure. (Wow, how about you calm down, It''s even a big deal.) ''Oh, the Bug is demanding an answer... Fine, I''ll tell him, but only because I''m being nice.'' I thought "I didn''t do much. I just gave your son a spiritual hint to want to become a god instead of a hero, I also gave one to your wife to support his dreams. Sadly, it seems it was a little too strong, as they made that simple spiritual hint, their entire life''s purpo¡ª" I said with a relaxed tone since it wasn''t even a big deal in the first place. Before Arachneras Rachnee could finish her complex explanation behind why she mind-controlled James''s entire family into a maddening state. James stopped holding back after that. . . . " *Binding vow* I sacrifice 50, No, I sacrifice 75 years of my lifespan to be converted into a temporary source of unlimited cursed energy for this one fight against Rachnee Arachneras within my domain. *Binding vow* I can''t use any armor from my accursed vault except my helmet. In return, my body will adapt partially to all the attacks I face in this fight.*" I declared to the sky above. ''Hmm, this bug is acting up, I just uplifted his family to strive for a worthy goal. Maybe my master will be lenient if I kill him, my lady did say leave them unharmed physically.'' she thought ignoring the serious nature of her situation. ''The Bug even took away my golems, my lady would have loved those oddly designed golems. They even had some revolutionary designs, and ideas imprinted within them.'' She thought. Rachnee looked around the area admiring its unique view as she looked upon the purple sun in the sky in wonder. These cursed techniques with their domain expansions are truly impressive for bugs. All her webs were destroyed by the activation of the bug''s domain. ''It''s sex doll and the target is kept safe right now in that little shield box thing. Not like it matters if I can kill them all at any time, I can instantly rush him in a single attack. Even his shields are super fragile as my hands could instantly pierce them to get the target out instantly. My master had warned me against playing with her food or toys... But these bugs were too weak, it''s not like they can do anything to me.'' She thought as she started to weave a white blanket for her master while she was relaxing and enjoying the show the clown so graciously provided to her. Suddenly a massive tower of cursed energy appeared engulfing everything in the domain, only the shields protecting Emma and Lucas were safe. To handle the massive influx of cursed energy gotten from sacrificing 75 years of his lifespan his body adapted. James didn''t know the reverse cursed technique or ever experienced it himself. But, to handle this pressure his body used the energy in reverse to heal and strengthen his body to beyond its limits, and beyond those limits, and so on. With the binding vow''s gift of unlimited cursed energy and minor adapting throughout this fight, James was theoretically immortal. ''I heard of the legendary abilities of the ten shadows in Japan in the past. I know these binding vows can only imitate what is already possible in another cursed technique. But the divine general is the only creature I can think of imitating at that moment.'' I thought as my body was filled with a maddening amount of pain, my family was the only thing that kept me going along WITH MY RAGE AT THAT BITCH. James''s rage fueled his willpower, and overpowered any sense of pain he previously felt. "Sequence four¡. HOW. HOW. HOW. HOW!!!!! THIS IS IMPOSSIBLE HOW DID A BUG LIKE YOU GAIN THAT MUCH POWER? Sequence four levels of power¡" Rachnee backed up as she was only sequence five in the visionary pathway under her master''s influence. ''I am a servant of the Witch Of Greed, why must I..I...I fear a bigger bug. James, yes James doesn''t know how to handle that level of power and cursed energy doesn''t have the advantages of the pathways.'' I ca¡can win this, yes I can win this as Arachneras Rachnee servant of the witch of greed.'' She thought. Rachnee had instantly regained her composure by using her abilities on herself. But by that point in time James had already adapted to the sudden changes within the body. All of the scars he had on his body faded as he grew more muscle. The rusty floor below them faded as the ground made of rusty weapons revealed its golden form. The sun in the sky turned dark blue with golden flames. The sounds of a blacksmith hammering away at a weapon at a steady pace could be heard throughout the domain every three seconds. A massive array of golden weapons appeared in the air over James''s head. From spears to axes, swords, hammers and more appeared in the sky. Golden guns could even be seen from the crowd of weapons in the sky. They instantly launched at the spider before she used her magic to counterattack. "*Fura*" She screamed as a gust of wind gathered in her right hand to form a massive wind blade. James was able to summon a shield in time to protect his head and chest, but the blade still cut off his left arm entirely. James needed two arms to activate his domain''s weapons attack system as a binding condition to buff his attacks. Soon enough all the weapons floating above him fell from the sky to down below. A crashing sound was heard as all the golden weapons fell to the floor. James used his right arm to pick up the golden shield that protected him earlier. The infinite cursed energy was still flooding all his items so the shield was essentially unbreakable. Before long Rachnee was casting spells one after another trying to kill James. Yet every time she landed a hit he survived. Even with his abilities useless due to their harsh conditions, he was still alive and adapting. James mostly focused on protecting his head and chest as he faced waves of fire, wind, shadow, water, earth, and many other magical affinities from the endless stream of magical attacks from Rachnee. The infinite cursed energy acted like a divine shield, making it impossible to spiritually attack James''s mind or soul with Rachnee''s abilities. Rachnee would have simply mind-controlled him and been done with it, but her spells were one of the only ways to attack. ''HOW THE HELL CAN HUMANS BE THIS STRONG!'' Rachnee''s internal voice was screaming as she kept blasting the monster of a man in front of her with magic. Yet it was all useless, as he kept regenerating and her spells kept doing less and less damage over time. It was almost like his body was developing a resistance to magic, and he was even getting faster like he was getting stronger every time he healed. It was almost like James was adapting with every wound inflicted upon him. ''I need to end this now and fast, but how? Oh, that''s certainly a way to finish this.'' Rachnee thought as she smiled. Soon enough she was inflicting both magic and spiritual attacks into her spells. But, the spiritual attacks weren''t meant to harm, they were merely going to alter his perception when activated. . . . Ten minutes had gone by like that. James''s regeneration and resistance had grown to the level where spells that blew off limbs only broke off his skin. With both hands intact James clapped his hands as his fallen golden weapons rose again. "I''ve had enough of your bullshit you fucking spider. Die in pieces you web-slinging piece of shit." Soon My weapons started firing off like crazy targeting Rachnee. Yet Rachnee was smiling this entire time while James''s weapons launched at high speeds. "Once a bug always a bug." She said as she started laughing like crazy. "*Love & protect*" Rachnee whispered in a loving tone. her form started to shift and James''s eyes started to widen in shock as he looked between the shields and the sudden change before his eyes. It worked like a charm as the weapons being launched at high speeds turned away at the last minute and missed her. The bullets warped around her, from swords to spears they all turned away with James''s precise control. ''I can''t even hurt my wife even if I know it''s fake.'' My love for my wife was turned into a weakness via mental manipulation or transformation spell from that spider. The most she could do currently was to make herself look like a loved one and imprint the feeling of wanting to protect instead of harm. She couldn''t even take a hostage as the shield boxes protecting his wife and son got incredibly strong with the infinite amount of energy flooding them. It would take five hours of constant attacks to make a dent in the shields. The instant the gap in attacks was noticed by Rachnee. "*Accelerate*." She said as her speed quadrupled instantly due to activating her blessing of the wind. As a gift from her lady, she should use it well. She instantly rushed the opening James made unknowingly while trying to shift the weapons away from her, due to her mental guidance powers making her impossible to hit on purpose. Rachnee''s human hands turned into dragon hands as they gained scales and claws as she rushed James. James''s back grew a new clawed limb that very instant. In the palm of that dragonic hand laid James''s, fleshly ripped-out heart that still was beating every so often. ''I guess my cursed energy reinforcement technique was useless after all, her hand still ripped out my heart just easily. Even the physical resistance my body built was like butter to her claws.'' I thought as my body started to grow colder and colder. "A bug is still a bug James, you did pretty well, but that half-ass conviction of yours killed you." Rachnee laughed as she started eating the heart in front of James before his blood-filled eyes. With her bloodied hand treating his heart like an apple. She savored every bite as James''s body fell to the ground. Chapter 5: Winner x Secrets Unlawfully taken from Royal Road, this story should be reported if seen on Amazon.
