    The streets are filled with people as the flashing lights light up the night sky.


    Buildings have neon lights on them.


    It was my parents concert. They weren''t there yet though. I''m pretty sure their getting ready downstairs.

    I was born with an illness.


    It prevents me from going outside and makes my bones weak so I can''t really walk.


    My parents despise my existence for not being able to carry out their legacy. If it weren''t for the maids and servants looking after me and taking care of me I would have died . I''m really alone.


    I could hear footsteps up the stairs and heading towards my room.


    I assumed that it was one of the maids coming up to my room to give me a present, it was my 15th birthday after all but that wasn''t the case.


    Instead it was my dad. He was about 6 ft 3. Black hair. An amazing build. He was ideal man from the outside but his heart was full of malice.


    My mother would visit me from time to time but never my dad. He grabbed my shoulder gently. For the first time in my life I saw him smile.


    "Today''s your birthday right."


    This was strange. The father I knew only had hatred for me but now he was smiling? Was he hiding his hatred for me like my mother does?


    "Y-Yes Father it is"


    The man then took his hand off my shoulder and then walked towards my window staring at their venue outside. The colours from the lights had lit up my dark room.


    "You know. Today is a special day for me and my mother as well. Today we are having our biggest concert yet. Its going to be amazing you know"


    The man kept on going on about his concert and the amount of money that he was going to make his eyes full of greed. Then He looked back at me.


    "I''m getting off track. I came here to give you a birthday present. Your mother doesn''t know about this neither do the maids. I wanted to keep it a secret from them."


    He reached for something in his back pocket. Then he slowly pulled out a metallic object from behind him. His face became dull. Then he pointed the object in my face


    "Die"


    A bullet went through my head.


    My body fell on the ground. The only thing I could see was my fathers legs as I slowly closed my eyelids.


    I was dead.


    Dead.


    My father had killed me. From the start to the end he hated me.


    My life was the worst. I had no friends, I couldn''t even go outside. I lived a pathetic life from start to end.

    The Man had picked me up. He was as tall as my father. His eyes were scarlet red. He had a goatee as well. He was masculine and had long red hair. He was energetic the opposite of my piece of shit father.

    My mother also has red hair as well. She was a pretty woman. She looked tired after giving birth but I didn''t seem to have affected her looks. She had purple eyes.


    I don''t know what he said but he seems pretty excited.


    My dad takes me to another room. I suppose it''s the living room They had a huge medieval house. They might be nobles. There were a lot of Maids and Servants. It seems like they were setting up a party for my birth.


    "Are you ready Shiebe. This will be a party just for you"


    I have no idea what he said but if a party is happening then I look forward to it. I never had one in my past life. My dad has sat me down on a fancy basket filled with flowers and other decorations.


    "Now you just wait here until the guests start to arrive"


    My father had left. I assume we wait for the guest to arrive.


    A few hours later the guest had started to arrive. They were a mix of children, Noble men and women, and others in what I assume would be casual clothing.

    "So this is Shiebe Zackaria. Wow"


    Lots of people had gathered around me ticking me and staring. I still couldn''t understand what they were saying maybe it was because of me being transported into a new world or was it cause I was an infant. After 30 minutes it seemed like everyone had arrived. There were about 300 people. I guess my birth is pretty special.


    "Everybody listen up"


    My mom and Dad were on the stairs. My dad wore a fancy suit whilst my mom wore a dress.


    "Thank you for attending. As you know the Zackaria''s are famous all over the world for being known as one of the top noble families. Our son Shiebe Zackaria is our Third child we want you all to welcome him into our family as he grows up I know that he will be big and strong and protect you all from the Z-Mon''s. Thank You and lets get this party started"


    Loud cheers followed. I didn''t understand what he said but I can tell my dad gave one hell of a speech.


    The rest of the night was followed with children and adults coming up to me and everyone partying. Once the guest had left my mom and dad had taken me to my room.


    "Sadly your big sister and brother are away in another Continent so they are unable to see your birth"


    Once again no idea what he said. My mom laid me down on my bed. She gave me a big smile

    They turned off the light and closed the door.


    I''ve really been reborn into another world. It seems unreal. Any person would be freaking out yet I feel so happy. Maybe it''s because of how bad my previous life. I have a chance to make friends and have a caring family why would I freak out plus My other dad killed me. This time i''m going to live my best life.


    Half a year passes by. It seems in this world you grow up a lot faster as a baby. I''m already able to walk and talk. I''m finally able to understand my mom and dad. I''ve learnt that my name is Shiebe Zackaria. My dad''s name is Xeno Zackaria and my mom''s name is Liana Zackaria. My Dad and Mom are both adventures and are in a huge guild. My Dads the leader but my Mom had retired as she needs to take care of me. When my mom and dad aren''t around the maids usually take care of me. They are really nice like the ones in my previous life. When I''m bored I mostly explore the house and try to read books although I can''t really understand them .Today my dad told me he would teach me the world from the outside. He came to my bedroom with a more serious look than usual.

    I have heard those phrases before. When a guest would come to our house they would say something like ''Has he awakened to his syreum'' or ''He will be a fine Z-Mon Hunter''.


    "First of the history of Z-Mon''s. 2000 years ago weird creatures had appeared on Earth. These creatures had the general appearance of a human but they would have different coloured skin or weird looking eyeballs. These creatures identified themselves as Z-Mon''s and are fully capable of speech. They are highly intelligent and have a full society of their own back in their dimension. However these Z-Mon had attacked Humanity out of nowhere and killed over half the population. It was a huge genocide that no one could have stopped apart from one person who had awakened to a power at the time. His name was Jinpachi Zackaria. This single handle destroyed over 1 million Z-Mons worldwide. However it was impossible to eliminate all the Z-Mon''s. As time went on more and more people were born with these powers. They were later called syreums"


    "How do these syreums work"


    "Syreums are manifested in your hearts. They can range from different elements for example fire, ice, water etc.. but there are different variants to these power and different power levels based on the users heart. There are three syreums that are different though. Syreums X Y and Z. These are known as the disaster trio. These syreums each contain dangerously high power levels. These were the first three syreums to ever exist."


    So this world is being ruled by an evil force. I see this place is exactly safe. I wonder if I will ever have to fight a Z-Mon.


    "You are at that age to awaken a syreum so I wanted to tell you this Shiebe. Well it time for me to get to work so be careful"

    It''s been 3 years since I had reincarnated here. I am pretty much familiar with the world. I have finally gained the ability to read. There''s this one book that has got me interested. Its about the manifestation of syreums. It says ''the user needs to be one with his inner heart and soul to be able to draw out the power of the syreum. Imagine a flow of energy going into your body and then imagine that energy unleashing out.''


    I tried it as the book had described. First imagine a flow of energy inside of me. I sat down in my room closing my eyes and imagining a flow of energy going inside. I could feel a slight scent of power within me. Next unleash it. I can feel it. I can feel it coming out


    *CRASH*


    "Oh no"


    "Young Master are you oka-"


    An immense aura was surrounding me. The window in my room had cracked. It was too much I didn''t know how to suck it back in. Shit.


    "With the great power of fortuna I disable thy aura"


    Suddenly my aura had disappeared. I''m glad the maid was able to get rid of it otherwise I could have caused a lot more trouble

My dad told me the adventures that him, Mr.Luni and my mom had when they were much younger. It seemed like they were pretty strong.

    The man looked at me as I was reading in the living room. His eye were unique. I felt like I was in a trance just by looking at them.


    "So I assume your the newest member of the Zackaria''s,"

    In my old life I''ve never really spoken to adults or children so i always make sure to be polite in this world since I don''t want to cause a problem.

    According to some books I''ve read the council of hope are the top 10 people in the world who are the strongest. Two members of the Zackaria family are there. My parents are around SS tier which shows the strength of them and why the Zackaria family is highly respected.


    "Shiebe. You need to be a D tier syreum master to be able to enter the academy. For the next 5 years I will teach you how to fully manifest and control your syreum so that you will one day be able to defeat a Z-Mon."


    I nodded. It seemed like it would take a lot of time for this to work.


    "First stretch out your hands and imaging the flow of energy passing through"


    I did as he said. I could feel a small sense of energy the same as yesterday. It felt weird it was water being poured on my arms and hands. Then a small ball of energy started to take form


    "Good, Now imagine that ball being bigger and bigger"


    I did as he said. The ball of energy had gotten bigger it was about the size of a football. However my hands were staring to feel pain.


    "Now release it"


    I release the ball of energy. It went flying at an incredible pace hitting a tree and causing a huge explosion shaking the ground. It had caused both me and Mr.Luni to fall on our knees. Dust had filled the backyard as my parents and the maids had rushed to see what had happened.


    "Is everything alright" my mother shouted


    Luni slowly stood with a smile across his face before lifting me up into the air.


    "Shiebe that was amazing! Your syreum. Its one of the legendary 3. You have the potential to manifest Syreum X the syreum of destruction."


    The place went silent as everyone stared at me.


    Then my dad broke the silence


    "Syreum X. Luni are you sure"


    Mr.Luni slowly dropped me before running to my dad.


    "Xeno, trust me this boy has the potential to be a council of hope members like Deveno"


    Deveno was one of my siblings but I didn''t know that he was one of the council of hope members I thought it would be some long distant relative. Mr. Luni then came towards me and reached out his hand.


    "Shiebe Zackaria. I Luni Da Castera will do everything I can to help you unleash your power. I will do everything I can to help you control and master this power"

    We both shook hands. This was going to be the start of a long journey. I could feel it but damn having a syreum that is part of the disaster trio. It would surely make me an enemy target so I need to be careful and probably learn to hold back a lot.

 Guilds

    3 years later after training with Mr.Luni. I have been able to control the amount of power I want to output. I can shoot small balls of destruction as well as cover my fist with a destructive force. Mr. Luni told me that I was a D tier syreum master now. About two months ago my mom was pregnant with twins. It seems the 9 month pregnant period was the same in this world as well. Looks like I will be a big brother and have responsibilities of my own. I was in my bedroom writing down these things in my dairy then I heard a knock.


    "Shiebe, come down I want to tell you something"


    It seems that Mr.Luni had arrived although we didn''t have training today so I wonder what he is doing here. I closed my diary and headed downstairs. I found both my Dad and Mr.Luni talking.


    "Ah Shiebe me and Mr.Luni wanted to know if you were interested in joining our guild for an adventure into a dungeon."


    "Huh? will they really allow a 6 year old into a guild"


    My dad smirked and pat my head


    "Not just any 6 year old but you are an exception since your my son. Plus it will be good experience for you to know the world around you"


    I''ve read about dungeons in a lot of Manga''s and Light novels. They have different floors with lots of monsters. They also hold valuable loot and resources. If I was allowed of course I would go and I get to see my fathers guild.

    Isn''t that what the maids and servants for but whatever. It seems like my dad wanted to be around my mom in case anything major happened. He probably did that for my birth as well. Speaking of mom she walked out of the dining hall to greet us.


    "Hey mom, I''m going to join dad''s guild"


    My mom smiled and gave me a thumbs up


    "I know you will shock them with your awesome powers."


    Later that day, me and Mr.Luni set off as my parents and the maids gave us their farewells. It wasn''t a long journey to the guild it took us about 10 minutes to reach there.


    The building was huge and there was a lot of noise coming from inside.


    "You ready Shiebe"


    "Uh Yeah"


    I was starting to get a little nervous but I was also excited at the same time.


    I opened the door to see two men fighting


    "I TOLD YOU TO SHUT THE FUCK UP YOU OVERSIZED PIG"


    "DON''T TALK TO ME LIKE THAT YOU BITCH"


    The men were shouting at each other and it looked like a fight would break out at any second. Then Mr.Luni clapped his hands.


    "Enough of that"


    The room went silent. All faces turned towards us. It was then that I had just realised something. The two men weren''t even human. One had the feature of an elf they other was an orc. Holy shit I forgot that this wasn''t my old world of course they would be different races. The room was mixed with different kinds of races. Dwarves, beast folk, Humans, elves, orcs, ogres, goblins. They were also some I couldn''t recognise. The Two smiled and started walking towards us as well as a few others. The elf looked me up and down.


    "So this is Zackaria''s son. I haven''t seen him since he was born."


    The room was filled with whispers. They were talking about me. Sometimes I forgot that my family is important and highly respected.


    "This is Shiebe Zackaria and from now on he will be joining the guild"


    For a second the room was quiet. Then an uproar of cheers and shouts filled the room. It seemed like they were happy to see me joining the guild. There sure were a lot of people here. Surley they can''t all be part of the guild right. Seeing that I was slightly overwhelmed Mr. Luni whispered


    "There''s 10 members in the guild excluding you. This is the place where all guilds rest and get missions."


    "I see so its a guild hall"


    I really should have figured that out sooner. Later on we had a big party to welcome me to the guild. Our guild was called The Saviours. As Mr. Luni has said there was 10 members in total.


    The first to introduce himself was a goblin named Gor. Although the only goblin liked feature he had was his green skin. He was tall and pretty muscular.


    Next was an Elf named Lilly she was a pretty woman with black hair and pointy ears.


    Next was an Orc named Demtrius. He was the one fighting with the elf from before. He really was an oversized pig but he seems like a nice guy.


    Then there was a human called Yulko. She seemed younger compared to the rest and was a bit more on the quiet side. Stolen novel; please report.


    However the person next to her was the opposite. It was another human named Falco. He looked the oldest here but was also the most on going .


    Then the Elf who checked me up and down and was fighting with Forton. His name was Guno. He wore glasses and has a tall figure. You could tell that he was smart and intelligent.


    The last one to introduce themselves was a creature I had not known of. She introduced herself as Remilia. She had wings on her back but no bird like feathers any where else. In fact she looked human.


    The other three members were my Mom, Dad and Mr.Luni. They all seemed like nice people as expected.


    "Alright now that introductions are over lets welcome our newest member by doing a dungeon" exclaimed Lilly


    The rest agreed. Forton came up to me with a smirk


    "You ready little man i''m going to show you why your dad assigned me to this guild"


    He seems pretty confident in himself. The next day we set off to the dungeon. Mr. Luni had gathered everyone by the entrance and reminded us of the mission.


    "Remember we are going to defeat the Z-Mon''s hiding inside of the caves understood."


    In unions everyone agreed as we rushed into the cave. They were so fast that I fell behind them I could barley keep up. A Z-Mon this would be my first time seeing one. They are the monsters that terrorise this world. They have human shaped bodies but have different facial features such as an extra eye or abnormally long ears. The dungeon itself was small and narrow. the only light source we had was the one that Gor was holding. Mr.Luni led the team whilst the rest followed. It was quiet. No sound apart from our footsteps.


    "This is your first time encountering Z-Mon''s right?" Remilia questioned with a smile on her face.


    "Yeah"


    "Don''t worry the ones here aren''t as strong as others. i don''t know if your father has already told you this but there are six levels to Z-Mons:

    "World Class Threat? What''s that"


    "It''s as its name suggests it''s a Z-Mon that has the power to destroy our world. "

    "Yes 30 years a Z-Mon group known as the Cult of Despair appeared . They had 9000 S tiers and 10 World Class Threats. They took over an entire continent and renamed it the Despair continent. The Cult itself disappeared and went to the land of the Z-Mon''s. S tier syreum masters and above go into there and try to kill the Z-Mons living there but they all die. The continent was then blocked with a maigical shield to prevent anyone escaping or leaving. The shield was made by your grandfather"


    "Whoa"


    It seems that the Zacakria''s really are amazing. Remillia seems to be very intelligent.


    "Miss Remilla what exactly are you"


    "I''m a hybrid of a human and beast folk"


    I see that explains the wings and human body. Suddenly Mr.Luni had stopped. The group also stopped


    "Were no alone, there''s someone here apart from the Z-Mon''s"


    Someone here apart fro-. Then an immense aura had came . It was enough to make me cough up blood. The cave started to ring. Some of the guild members fell on their knees. Mr.Luni had a serious expression on his face.


    Eventually I fell to my knee as well, in fact only Mr.Luni was standing. Then I heard footsteps and then voices.


    "Well what do we have here, It seems like our prey is bowing down to us like good little slaves"


    Two figures appeared from the dark. One wearing a suit with a red logo on it. The other was wearing nothing but ripped up trousers and had a masculine figure.


    "The council of despair?!"


    "And a S tier Z-Mon?"


    Both Mr.Luni and Forton questioned what was happening. I''ve never seen a Z-Mon before but I knew that the one with the ripped up trousers was a Z-Mon. However I''ve never heard of these council of despair guys


    "Miss Remillia what is the Council of despair?"


    "The council of despair are often referred to the human version of the cult of despair. They have 10 Z tier syreum master commanders, 700,000 A+ to SS tier syreum masters but that doesn''t compare to his leader. He is on par with the council of hope. They are the real deal"


    Shit this is the worst possible outcome. The man stepped closer


    "Kill everyone here. They are not the target."


    "Yes sir"


    The man walked away. Once he got further away we were all able to stand. The Z-Mon without wasting any time headed straight towards me. He must have been able to tell that i was the weakest amongst the others


    "Shi"


    In a blink of an eye, Yulko had grabbed the Z-Mon''s arms before it could have hit me. She pulled back here arm and covered her fist with a galaxy-like aura before punching the Z-Mon in the stomach sending it back.


    "Yulko, Forton on Shiebe. Don''t let that damn thing near it! The rest of you on the the Z-Mon.


    "YES SIR!"


    They all followed Mr. Luni''s words. Yulko stood next to me while Forton in front. The Z-Mon got up on its feet and smiled.


    "YOUR NOT THE TARGET SO QUIT BEING A PAIN THE ASS"


    The Z-Mon punched the ground with a heavy blow causing it to crack open and the dungeon to shake. It was a narrow space to there wasn''t much space to go to avoid it. However Gor had summoned a rock in front of Mr Luni and the rest which had block the crack from going any further. Then Mr. Luni and Demtrius ran on the wall. Mr. Luni had landed in front of the Z-Mon just barley avoiding the crack whilst Demtrius landed behind. Mr. Luni surrounded himself in white and black mist whilst Demtrius let out a loud roar that had echoed around the cave. Then he became bigger and grabbed the Z-Mon by the head and threw it further into the cave then chasing after it. Mr. Luni still stood there whilst Lilly, Remillia and Falco also ran on the wall and pursued the Z-Mon. However moments later I saw them all being thrown back followed by an explosion.


    The explosion had sent us all back apart from Mr. Luni who was just about hanging on there. Falco, Remillia, Lilly and Demtrius were all by me Yulko and Forton. It was just Mr. Luni and the Z-Mon.


    "SHIT!"


    "DAMN I-"


    Then that menacing aura appeared again. We were all stuck to the floor. The man had appeared.


    "Holy Shit. You''re all still alive. A single blow from this Z-Mon should have killed you. Maybe you guys are a big deal."


    The man raised his arms towards Mr. Luni and charged up what seemed to be a ball of black flames. Damn it. If that Mr. Luni. He would be in trouble. I don''t know what he is doing but i assume he is charging up and can''t move. Everyone is down. I need to stand. I need to help him. These past years training it all thanks to him. I''m not going to let him die here.


    "Hey would you look at that the kid''s trying to move. Maybe we should teach him a lesson first"


    The man changed his focus towards me. The blast went off. It was heading towards me. Everything felt slow. Actually, Everything was slowed down. I could turn around the see the guild members slowly trying to reach me. I tried standing up.


    "What the. I can stand and everything slow"


    I was told that I had the power of syreum X. The power of destruction had nothing about slowing down time. With the blast slowly coming towards me I walked past it and headed towards the man.


    "Sorry Mr.Luni but it seems like I''m going to need to release all my power for this one."


    I let all my energy flow into my arm. Just like a few years ago my aura went on a out burst. Then time had unfroze. The blast hit the floor. There wasn''t time to think. I instantly punched the man. For a second. Nothing happened. The man looked at me with shock. The Z-Mon stood there as well. Then my arm exploded. This had caused an explosion which was on a larger scale than before the whole cave had lit up and my mind went blank as the last thing I saw was my arm being ripped into pieces.

 Z-MON X Part 1

    My mind went blank. I couldn''t see all I could hear was the crackling of fire. I could feel the heat on my fire. There must have been one pretty close to me. Then My eyes opened. It seemed like the explosion had caused the cave to expand a lot. It was the size of a house now. Lilly was beside me healing my arm back to normal.


    "Your finally awake Shiebe"


    There wasn''t any sign of the man and Z-Mon. Maybe I had killed them. Then Mr. Luni had approached me he looked fine and unscratched from the explosion.


    "It seems like all that training had paid off Shiebe"


    The rest of them got up and praised me.


    "Where did the man go"


    "He got away on the Z-Mon''s back but he lost all his limbs so I would say you did a pretty good job" Gor said smiling at me.


    It seems like everything was okay again. That was my first time fighting a person and I went pretty well. I guess I really am a prodigy. We got out of the cave using the fire as our light source. The entrance was still intact. However, Mr. Luni looked trouble.


    "The council of despair. They would never come to a small town like this. This isn''t even a capital city or anything to see them here is weird."


    I guess it really was a rare sighting to see them here.


    "Maybe they found out that the Zackaria''s live here." Yulko stated


    "It''s possible"


    We then departed and headed home. Me and Mr. Luni headed towards my house. It was night outside So it was pretty hard to see but we managed. As we walked I saw a figure move towards us. It was a man in a knight''s armour but he had no helmet on. His face had scars on it and his eyes were dull. As we got neared to the man I felt more nervous until he was directly in front of us. Mr. Luni did not pay any attention to the man and kept walking. The man had bumped his shoulder with mine.


    "Ah, I''m sorry I couldn''t see you since it was dark."


    The man had a sinister smile. He was tall and leaning over me. He smelt horrible and had long black hair.


    "Its okay"


    I walked passed the man before he had called out to me


    "Excuse me but. Is that Luni Da Castera with you. I''ve always wanted to meet you"


    Mr. Luni stopped for a second and then carried on walking. What was with him could he not see or hear the man. Why did he not question him for bumping into me. Why was he so quiet.

    I suddenly stopped as the man walked past me. My name. How did he know my name. I could see that Mr. Luni had stopped as well.


    "My parents are waiting for me" I whispered to myself


    I looked behind me to see the man had disappeared.


    "Shiebe... We need to go home quickly"


    He started to run. I followed him confused. Go home quickly. What was that man saying. How did he know my name. Why did he say that. What the fuck is going on.


    "Mr. Luni what the hell is going on. Who is that man and how did he know you"


    Mr. Luni did not answer and kept running and eventually stopped. Then I saw light and heat? As i got closer. I saw fire. Flames. The town was set on fire. The trees in the building. Everything was being burnt. Yet there was no sign of people.


    "SHIEBE GET TO THE GOD DAMN HOUSE NOW"


    Mr. Luni grabbed my hand and headed towards my house but once we got there it was already burnt to a crisp. The house was gone.


    "W-what the hell"


    What is this. The house is gone. Its burnt. The town is burnt. I couldn''t process this. I was unable to understand. Where''s my mom and dad. The maids. Where is everyone. Why is the house gone.


    "Damn it were too late"


    Too late? Too late for what damn it. What are we too late for. Are you trying to say they are dead. This place. That man. My family is dead. Is that what he''s trying to say. What. That''s bull shit. That''s a load of bull shit. I got reincarnated here. I have a second chance to live again and your telling me the only family that actually gave a shit about me is dead on the ground. You have to be fucking with me right.


    "Shiebe I''m sorr-"


    "What the hell are you talking about Luni? My family isn''t dead. So why are talking like that"


    In my past life. I have never felt any other emotion apart from boredom and depression. I have never cried or felt angry or had joy. However for the first time in my life.


    I cried.


    Tears fell came out of my eyes.


    "Hey what the hell is this Luni. Where is my family. Who is that man. Is he responsible for this"


    However He just stood there.


    "Shiebe. That man. His name is Julvo Ferto. He is one of the leaders of the cult of despair."


    The cult? Not the council but the cult itself. They haven''t appeared for 30 years. So why are they here.


    "Then why didn''t you do anything about it. How did he know you"


    "I don''t know how he knows me or you but for some reason I was unable to see him until he had spoken to me. Then I saw the town being lit on fire with my own eyes as if I was there"


    So I was right. Only I could see him. Was it because of my syreum. Then that bastard. He did it. He destroyed my perfect life. My new life that I was enjoying. My mom was going to give twins as well.Are you saying they are dead as well. My perfect life. I felt joy and happiness with each passing day. I never felt despair or had a moment where I wanted to go back to that shitty world.


    This emotion was something that I had never felt before.


    Rage.


    I understand now. This is rage. This is what the Z-Mons are capable of. This is the terror of this world. How foolish I was to expect that this world would be all sunshine and rainbows. This is despair. This is the work of the cult of despair.


    "Hey Luni. Im going to murder that guy and all the living Z-Mons in the world. Groups that praise them like the Council of despair will burn and suffer at my feet. I will kill them no matter what. I will never ever forgive that stupid son of a bitch for this. "


    "3 Years. When you''re 9 I will let you enter the academy. In there you will study the powers of a Z-Mon and will learn how to better control your syreum. You will also learn more about the cult of despair. From now on Shiebe. You will be living with me. I will make sure that bastard will pay for this."


    Luni had an expression of pure hatred and disgust.


    I won''t stop until I kill them all. Hatred. Rage and Malice. These are the new emotions that are driving me towards my goal. I will not be stopped by no one until I avenge my family or find them. I still want to believe that they are alive out there and not dead.

 Off To Henokai Academy

    3 years later,


    There were about 20 Z-Mon''s around me. They ranged from d to c tier. Everyone else had gone ahead and told me to handle this myself. It wasn''t something I couldn''t do which is why they choose to rely on me. They surrounded me but didn''t make any efforts to approach me in other words they were afraid of me.


    "What''s wrong. You''re in such a big group surely you could kill a 9 year old like me right?"


    Then one of them stepped forward. He was tall and had a blindfold on. He had multiple arms and blue long hair.


    "He''s right. The hell are you idiots scared of. Let''s get this bastard alread-"


    Before the Z-Mon could charge at me he was stopped by someone behind him.


    "Don''t be stupid. Look at his hair. He''s the red hair slayer Shiebe Zackaria. He''s part of the Destroyer guild."


    "Shiebe Zackaria. Never heard of em."


    "Of course you haven''t you fool. You''re too selfish to care about anyone but yourself. Those who face the red hair slayer are bound to die a quick death. It''s not worth it. Even in a group as big as this we wont stand a chance against him"


    Seems like I''ve gotten pretty popular over the last few years. Red hair slayer huh. I do like the sound of that.


    The Z-Mon who stopped the blue hair one was much smaller and skinnier. I guess I should teach him a lesson as to why I''m called that. I put my arm to the ground and transferred energy towards my palm. Smoke started to emerge from my hand before an explosion that had captured the entire area had erupted. The area around me had vanished as a big crater was made around me. The only thing that survived was the ground I was standing on. All the Z-Mon''s had been killed. I jumped over the crater that I made and hurried towards the rest of the members. Now that I think about it. It''s almost time to go to the academy. What a pain in the ass.


    "Looks like you''ve dealt with them Shiebe. Nice job" Gor said


    "Well were done here. It looks like the dungeon''s already been cleared so lets head out."


    On Luni''s order the rest of us followed him back to the guild hall.


    "Oh yeah Shiebe it''s about time you go to the academy right"


    "Don''t be a pain Captain. The academy''s for Losers right Shiebe"


    Yulko seemed to disagree with the idea of the academy as well. She was the youngest so she would understand the most.


    "Yeah what she said."


    However I knew my opinion wont matter. Once Luni had made up his mind he wouldn''t change it.


    About a month later. I had found myself dress up in a long coat with fur. I had a tie and a jumper on as well. In three weeks I was going to the academy. Obviously my arguments and disagreements didn''t work. It took two weeks just to get to the academy itself. Meaning that I had one week to prepare and according to Luni I would have to make the journey by myself as he and the guild are busy with an urgent request from some noble. Which is why I''m here alone. I guess I should get going. I held out a map that Remilia drew for me on how to get to the academy. I was sad that I couldn''t say goodbye to the guild as they''ve been with me these past years. They are like family to me. I headed out. The journey itself wasn''t by foot but I had to take several carriages to get there.


    Then I arrived. This was Henokai Academy. It''s the largest school in the continent. Royalty and even members of the council of hope came to this school. The entrance exam is extremely hard but I got in by recommendation since I''m from the Zacakria family. I was told by Luni that I would enter in the middle of the term and would be a 1st year. It would take me 6 years to complete the academy and graduate. It was a stupidly long amount of time.


    The gates were tall and shiny. The campus of the academy was unbelievably huge. Different races all around me. even those I had never seen all in one place. It was truly amazing. Now that I think about it this is my first time going to school. I never went in my previous life. I was told that the first thing I should do is go to the principal''s office. I made my way towards the entrance of the building until a person had appeared in front of me. At first I thought they were waiting for someone behind me so I moved to the side but they moved as well. Then I moved to the other side and so did they. Was this some game they play in school or something?

    Now that I have taken a better look at the person. It was an elf. A female elf. She looked about my age in fact. maybe 1 year older.

    The girl did not say anything. She continued to stand in my way. I never was found of coming here and this is the first thing I have to deal with. What a pain in the ass.


    "Hey I told you my name so move it."


    The girl blocked me with her hands. People then started to draw their attention towards us. Great now look at what she''s done. In all my life I have never met a girl that had annoyed me in my previous life. My mother may have hated me but she never talked to me and ignored me so she never really annoyed me and the maids were always nice to me. Those were pretty much the only women I had seen in my previous life. Is this what they are like.


    "What''s your problem. Don''t you have anything better to do than block me from entering. I don''t even know you."


    "Sorry but I won''t allow you to enter the academy. You smell like a Z-Mon."


    Then everyone''s attention was really on us. The mention of the word Z-Mon had everyone''s attention. But what the hell was she talking about. Maybe it was because I hadn''t taken a bath in a while. That was probably it. I must have dried up Z-Mon blood on me.


    "Oh. Sorry I haven''t taken a bath in a while and I''m a Z-Mon hunter so you''re probably smelling it''s blood"


    "I see. Sorry for the misunderstanding then. You may go"


    "Um do you know where the principal office is."


    "Yeah. I can take you there. Take it as an apology for wasting your time"


    "Thanks"


    I knew it was a misunderstanding. She is a nice girl. She led me through the hallway. As we passed a lot of people greeted her. I guess she must be popular. People were also whispering to each other when they saw me. I hope they don''t get some weird ideas or anything. The girl was slightly taller than and had purple hair. She also smelt really nice and had Crimson red eyes the same colour as mine.


    "Hey what''s your name"


    "Zaneff Gilliono"


    "Nice to meet you"


    Then the girl stopped for a second. Then turned around to me.


    "You said your name was Shiebe Zackaria right? as in the Zackaria family"


    "Yup that''s me"


    Everyone''s gossip turned into shouts.


    "That''s Shiebe Zacakria"


    "The red hair slayer in the flesh"


    "Whoa"


    I guess that red hair slayer title has spreaded around fast. Seriously who the hell called me that. Zaneff grabbed my hand and dragged me away from the crowd. Those guys seemed a lot older than me. I guess there isn''t a section for a certain year group.


    "Come on Shiebe, we don''t have time for those guys"


    "Huh, what do you mean"


    "Weren''t you listing to what they were saying?"


    "Uh no. I could only hear whispers"


    I guess she had enhanced hearing since she was an elf. Make sense with those sharp pointy ears.


    "They were calling names and making fun of your hair colour. So I announced your name to see how they would react and as you guess they praise you since your nobility. Goes to show how rude some people are."


    They were making fun off me? On my first day here as well. Wow what a bunch of loser then. We then stopped.


    "Here is the principal''s office."


    "Thanks"


    "I''ve got a lesson soon so I''ve got to go. Good luck on your first day, it''s a good school if you don''t cause trouble."


    Then she left. I guess I should go in huh. The door was pretty fancy with a golden plate that said ''Principal''s office''. Well here goes. I turned the door and entered the room.


    It was huge and tidy. It had lots of books and decorations. There were all sorts of achievements and badges on the walls. Then in front of me a lady sat on a chair with two knights in armour standing next to her.


    "Ah, So your Shiebe Zackaria"


    She was a human. She looked about 25. White hair. blue eyes and black and white clothing. She was stunning and had a different kind of aura to her like a king or queen. I felt like I should bow down to her with respect it took all my strength just to stand still.


    "Yes Miss. I am Shiebe Zackaria, son of Xeno and Liana Zackaria"


    I even gave her the name of my parents. I just couldn''t help it. I hadn''t met a monarch in my past life but even I know that this person was someone I had to treat with upmost respect.


    "Now, Now no need to be so polite. I have known your father since he was a child. He was quite the trouble maker I should say. Ah, where are my manners I am Ventra Da Castera."


    Da Castera? That''s Luni''s name. Is she related to him.


    "Welcome to Henokai Academy. For the next 6 years of your life you will be attending and living here. I have heard about the situation from my brother and have news regarding your parents."


    "News! What is it. What did you find out!"


    "There was a nationwide search for your parents and we have found your father alive. Well actually he had saved the search party from a group of Z-Mon''s. However your mother is nowhere to be found. They had found your father in the Fortoina Continent. Which is about a 10 year journey from here."


    10 years?! How the hell did he get there. At least he''s alive but what about my mom.


    "You don''t need to attend any classes just the syruem training class with your homeroom class. You will be given your own dorm in which you can do any research that you desire."


    In these 6 years I will train my syreum and study Z-Mon''s. That''s what Luni had told me.. They already found my dad alive. Surely they would find my mom next right. Yeah. I will focus on learning about that Z-Mon. I guess I was right about her being Luni''s sister. Maybe that''s why he chose not to come.


    "Thank you miss. I appreciate the introduction"


    "Here take this. It will help you find your way around the school."


    She gave me a map of the school including where my homeroom is.


    "Oh and one more thing. Deveno is looking for your mother. He told me to tell you this. "Do what you can". That was all."


    Wise word from my older brother who I have never met before. I wonder what my older sister was doing. My parents never talked about her.


    "Wait. How did he tell you that"


    "Oh sorry, I forgot to mention. I''m a member of the council of hope."


    Council of hope? That''s why I could feel a powerful aura that made me want to fall. This was the strength of a council of hope member. Amazing.


    I closed the door and made my way to homeroom.


    "6 years huh. Guess I''ve got a long way to go"

 School Life

    I stood outside my classroom door. Who will I meet? Will I fit in. Do they know me? I guess there''s only one way to find out. The door had a golden handle on it and a sign that said ''Classroom to the bests of the bests'' I assumed one of the students had put it up there because of the poorly written handwriting. Then I opened the door and took a step forward. The class itself was full. a lot of students from different races were there. The first thing that caught my eye was the half human and half beast folk teacher standing at the front of the class. Everyone looked towards me. If I''m being honest I was overwhelmed there are a lot of people here. I''m not used to it. Then the teacher welcomed me in. She grabbed my hand and pulled me from the door to the front of the class.


    "Everyone, this is our newest student. From the famous and most powerful family in the entire world. Shiebe Zackaria"


    However everyone just stared at me. Then whispered to on another. Then again this teacher set me up to a big deal or something but I''m not really like that. In fact I just wanted to be a background character and just focus on research. I''m not here to actually learn. Then one boy raised his hand.


    "Hey, can he sit by me"


    "Sure, Thing. Now everyone please be nice to him. I''m sure you have all heard the news about what had happened to the city and his parents."


    I walked to sit by the boy at the back. As I walked through the classroom they all stared at me. I avoided eye contact and headed for the back until I heard something that made me stop for a second


    "I bet they want us to feel sorry for him."


    "Yeah, what''s with all this Zackaria bs. I wish I could be as rich and wealthy as he is. I wouldn''t give a shit about my parents"


    Those words made me pick up my head and look at her directly in my eye. She was a human. Green hair. Blue eyes. How would someone like her understand. Who the hell was she to comment on me and my family. Wouldn''t give a shit about your parents. Those god damn bastards. The girl looked at me with disgust as if I had killed her family or something. Her eye''s showed that she already hated me.


    "What are you looking at. You need something"


    Zaneff had told me not to cause trouble and I don''t really want to be the talk of the school any more than I already am. So I ignored her and went to my seat next to the boy. The boy had purple long hair and scarlet red eyes. He had dragon wings and horns but the face of a human and body of a normal human. He also had long pointy ears.


    "Name''s Maz Junrenjo. I recommenced you ignore that bitch. She aint worth ya time trust me"


    "Nice to meet you and thanks for advice"

    It seems like he had some interactions with Z-Mon''s as well.


    After our teacher was introduced she talked about the history of elves and goblins. However I paid no attention and eventually fell asleep. Once class was over I left the room and headed for Lunch. I pulled out my map to look for the lunch room and made my way towards it but then I heard a voice calling my name. i turned around to see the same purple hair girl from earlier.


    "Oh, it''s you"


    "Come on lets go to Lunch"


    "Huh? Just us two wouldn''t you want to eat with your friends"


    "Nah, it''s okay. I don''t really hang out with my friends that often"


    "If you say so"


    I did find it pretty weird that she would want to eat with someone who she had just met on the first day especially after what happened this morning. We made our way outside and headed for the cafeteria. However as we got closer I could feel someone following us. Then they got closer. I stopped.


    "What''s wrong"


    "We are being followed"


    I looked behind us to see some girls from my class. There was one that I recognised immediately. Green hair. Blue eyes. It was the girl from before. I''m pretty sure someone called her Dimo. There were about 4 other girls with her and they all stood behind me and Zaneff.


    Then Dimo stepped forward


    "You know. There''s something about you that I really hate. You think you''re the main character or something don''t ya. You''re not like the other Zackaria''s I see on Tv you look weak and act like the world revolves around you. Your prideful and that really pisses me off."


    "Shut the hell up. Leave Shiebe alone. He hasn''t done anything wrong."


    Zaneff stepped in front of me. She had an angry expression on her face.


    "Zaneff stayed out of this. Why the hell are you defending him anyway don''t tell it''s because he''s a Zackaria.


    Zaneff looked like she was going to punch the girl. So i held her shoulder and stepped forward. She obviously had an issue with me. I had to solve this myself.


    "Listen, I don''t know what I''ve done to get you so angry but I''m sorry. I don''t want to cause any trouble. Let''s go Zaneff."


    However the girl laughed at me and threw a ball of black flames in front of me and Zaneff. Blocking our way to the cafeteria. She was seriously starting to piss me off.


    "Sorry but I''m afraid you two won''t be leaving"


    There wasn''t anyone around. It was just us. Which made it difficult to avoid any unnecessary conflict. I headed towards the girls.


    "THE HELL''S YOUR PROBLEM QUIT ACTING LIKE A BITCH!"


    I had lost my temper. I don''t have time for these stupids childish conflict''s. I only came here to train my syreum and learn about Z-Mon''s


    "Who the hell are talking to like tha-"


    Then Zaneff had punched her in the face which knocked her down to the floor. Zaneff had ice covering her first. So she has an ice syreum then. Her friends rushed over to her but then she stood up and charged at Zaneff. Without thinking or any hesitation I charged my syreum ready to last a blast at her but then in a blink of an eye lightning struck her and her friends to the ground. In front of me stood a familiar face.


    "Looks like I arrived just in time. I had a feeling she would cause some trouble. So I came out to look for you and here she was"


    Maz had knocked all of them out in an instant.


    "Whoa Maz that was amazing!"


    "No problem Shiebe."


    "Well we should head for the cafeteria. There''s no point in staying here." Zaneff said.


    The two of us agreed and headed for the cafeteria building.

 Strength

    A few weeks after the Lunch incidents, The girls didn''t report anything to the teachers thankfully. Me, Maz and Zaneff all started hanging out more especially after the incident. My dorm was pretty big. Right now I have a free period. I was studying more about the world and syreums. Luni had said that i had syreum x. A dangerous and powerful syreum that no one should know that I have. Only Luni and my parents know about it . Over these past few weeks with both the syreum training and my own research I had figured out what my syreum does. Syreum X the syreum of destruction. It allows me to output a destructive power in different forms. The forms that i have unlocked right now are:


    Covering my fist with this destructive energy. A punch from this will create an explosion inside the opponent''s body. This varies on the amount of power put into my punch. This also works similarly for the environment. If I punched the ground it would create an explosion from underneath.


    Next was using blasts. By releasing my energy and transforming it into a ball I can unleash range attacks. On contact they create explosions. The power of the explosion varies on the amount of energy that I output.


    These two were my main forms of using my syreum. Another thing that I had learnt about syreums is that it can be broken into 4 key catergories.


    1. Average syreums. These are syreums that have basic elements such as fire water etc.. These are syreums that many people are born with which is why it''s called Average syreums. These syreums has a max potential of an A tier syreum master


    2. Impure syreums. These are syreums that strive off from your basic elements. For example Black flames. However some impure syreums can be based on its own source for example nuclular power or weather control. The maxium potential of these syreums are SSS syreum master. Teachers, Strong leaders and Army commanders are the most common people who would have these powers.


    3. Godly syreums. These syreums are what you could call the peak of humanity. Being able to create your own weapons out of thin air. Gravity control. Time manuplaution. Space control. Multiple elements. The ability to copy others syreums. if you poses this syreum then you are able to join the council of hope.


    4. This is the category that I fall in. The Disaster Trio. Syreum X Y and Z. The first three syreums to exist. They are powerful and dangerous. From a book, Syreum X is a syreum that destryed the world and it is taboo to even speak of its name. That''s why Luni didn''t want me to let anyone know about it no matter what. Syreum X had been responsible for destroying half of the world. Syreum Y was what brought back half of the world and Syreum Z is the syreum of judgement which had sealed Syreum X. Then the two disappeared from the world.

    As I was thinking i heard a knock on my dorm room''s door. I opened my door to see Maz barley even standing.


    "Whoa, what happened to you"


    "Shiebe. You have to help me!"


    "Help you with what"


    "Well, I forgot my tie in the chaning rooms so then I went back to get it but then there were girls in there. They weren''t changing or anything so I thought it would be okay to just go in there and get my tie so I did but then they saw me and screamed. I tried to calm them down but they wouldn''t listen then they started throwing stone rocks at me and was chasing me down the school. I think i lost them so I came here. Please you have to talk to them for me"


    "Why me?"


    "Because you''re the only person I can rely on. Zaneff would just take the girls side."


    I didn''t really want to help but It could become a bigger issue later on so why not. Then I heard a shout down the corridor. It seemed to be the girls that Maz was talking about. They slowly approached as Maz hid behind me. Looks like it''s my queue.


    "Sorry Ladies if my friend here had upset you. I promise he didn''t mean any harm. He just wanted to get his tie that he had dropped in the changing room I understand that seeing him you may think he would have different ideas but I promise you he isn''t like that. I hope you can forgive him"


    "Yeah, I''m really sorry for what I did. I didn''t mean any harm I promise"


    All of the girls seemed really red in the face. Where they are all right.


    "Uh y-yeah. No problem."


    "E-Excuse me mister your Mr Zackaria right."


    "Yes I am"


    All the girls lowered their heads


    "Its a pleasure to meet you and sorry for the trouble we caused you"


    They all walked away looking really happy for some reason. Maz had a smirk on his face


    "What."


    "Looks like your popular with the ladies Shiebe"


    "What do you mean"


    "Just look at how they were blushing at you."

    "Well i better get to my next lesson. Thanks a lot bud"


    Maz smiled at me before running off. For a boy who had such a feminine body he sure did get in a lot of trouble with girls. I spent of the day relaxing and thinking about other forms I could unlock.


    The next day. There was a crowd in the hallway to my homeroom class. There seemed to be a poster put up. I squeezed through the crowd to see it for myself.


    The trails of the strong. All years accepted. Test our strength against others and win a chance to win a big cash prize. Tournament starts in 6 months.


    Now usually I wouldn''t want to partake in anything that required fighting others but I am running pretty low on money since Luni aint here. I signed my name on the board. I saw that Maz and Zaneff had already signed there as well. That cash prizes is gonna be all mine. Of course I will try not to expose myself. As I headed towards my homeroom. The crowd started to look at someone.


    "Hey look over there"


    "Yeah its him"


    A boy around my age with black hair and purple eyes. He looked like your typical emo rival.


    "That''s Naski Diranjo. He''s like the strongest first year in the entire school."


    "Even stronger than Zacakria."

    6 Months Later,


    It was time for the tournament. The academy was busy today. There was posters everywhere. They displayed upperclassmen students against each other. I even found some of me and Naksi. It said ''Battle to see who''s the strongest''. I guess people are excited to see our fight as well. I saw Maz and Zaneff waiting at the line to enter the stadium. It was a huge black box right next to our school. As expected there was a lot of people. There were two lines. Spectators and Participants. There weren''t any classes going on today so a lot of people came to spectate the match. There were also people who were from outside that came. It was a prestigious school so it makes sense that people would travel afar to come and see this. It reminded me of people coming to see my parents concerts in my previous life.


    "So Shiebe why are you taking part. You don''t seem like the type of guy to take part in anything that doesn''t benefit your research."


    "That''s where you''re wrong Zaneff. This will benefit my research by helping me test out my syreums against human opponents for future interactions with the council of despair."


    "I see, that makes a lot of sense. Your always one step ahead huh"

    "You sure your not just here for the cash prize." Maz said

    I didn''t want to be seen as greedy by these kids. I couldn''t really care less about testing out my syreum since I already have. I just need that money. After a while we got into the stadium. We were in the waiting room. It was full of posters and lighting, there were a lot of people in here. A lot of them were looking at me. Then a few people came towards me. One of them spoke up. She was a dwarf with black hair and glasses.


    "H- Hello Mr Zackaria. I am Serena Vi Lopema a second year and president of the Shiebe Zackaria Fan Club. It''s a pleasure to meet you"


    The rest of the bowed down as well.


    "Oh Um, It''s a pleasure to meet you as well. I will do my best to uphold your expectations "


    It seemed that in my short time at this academy. I had a fan club.


    After everyone entered an announcement played.


    "Dear, all participants. Welcome to Henokai Academy 48th Annual Tournamnet of the strong. We will go over the rules for you first years.


    " The tournament will last for 3 days. With each day being 1 round. Round 1 is known as the beginner trails. Participants will be selected at random to face each other in a 1v1. The winner will move on to round 2 and the loser will be disqualified. Round 2 is known as the Strength trail. Participants will be against those who share similar strength levels and Round 3 is the final round the remaining participants will fight until there is only 1 winner. To win against your opponent you need to knock them out or take them out of bounds. Killing is not allowed and will lead to you being expelled from the academy. That is it.     Looks like this is it. Everyone looked determined. This was going to be fun.

    "There''s a lot of upperclassmen who have entered this tournament specifically so they can fight you. I''m sure they want to see what you''re made of so be careful."


    "I see, I should have assumed that people would come after me since I''m a Zackaria. Thanks for the advice"


    It doesn''t matter if they do. I may be in a 10 year old body but I was tall and strong for m age it could be because of my fathers and mothers genetics or the fact that I was reincarnated but I won''t go down without a fight.


    "SHIEBE ZACKARIA VS DIMO LORENZO"


    Of course, I should have expected that everyone wants to see me fight first and it''s against that girl Dimo. I hadn''t spoken to her since the incident.


    "You''ve got this Shiebe"


    "Yeah kill that bitch"


    "Thank''s guys"


    I made my way towards the door and outside to the field. As I made my way the crowd cheered my name.


    "THE BOY WONDER. THE RED HAIR SLAYER AND A MEMBER OF THE FAMOUS ZACAKRIA FAMILY. ITS SHIEBE ZACKARIA!!!!!!!"


    On the other side of the field. I saw Dimo come up. The crowd also chanted her name.


    "A MEMBER OF THE ROYAL FAMILY. THE PRINCESS OF DEATH AND THE EMPEROR OF THE UNDEAD. DIMO LORENZO!!!!"


    I never knew she was a princess. Is that why she always thinks so highly of herself. Did the school know what happened between us. By the way, hell does he mean the princess of death and the emperor of the un-dead. Can she make like zombies. I looked at the top to see The principal smiling at me. She defiantly knew what happened.


    "THE FIGHT WILL START IN 3, 2, 1 ANDDD GO!!!!!!"


    The princess wasted no time. She touched the ground the moment he said go.


    "I summon God of Death. Yubguoko"


    Then the area around here turned black as black beams shot up to the sky. It then began to rain heavily. Slowly a being began to rose from the ground.


    "THE PRINCESS IS GOING FOR IT IN THE FIRST FIGHT. SHE IS USING HER TRUMP CARD"


    Trump card? Shit she must have a grudge against me huh. Well I won''t stand around here doing nothing. The being fully rose from the ground. He was about 7ft tall and 5 arms. He was coated in a weird black substance.


    The being headed towards me at full speed however. It was quick enough. I sent destructive energy to the bottom of my feet then charged it up using this I then jumped over the being. The princess didn''t move from her place i guess she expected the monster to fight me. Once I was about to touch the ground I created a blast with my hands to send me back up and create a hole in the ground. I continued to do this in random areas of the field. The being had failed to catch up to me each time as it was too slow. I had created a trap in the stadium full of holes. It was going to be hard for it to peruse me without falling into one of the holes.


    The princess then finally moved and so did the being. They both headed towards me. The princess started punching me but I was able to block most of her punches. Then the being came from behind and threw a punch but before it could hit me I jumped up in the air again making the punch hit the princess.


    "What''s wrong. I thought you were better than me. Don''t tell me you were expecting this guy to beat me for you. Don''t be pathetic"


    Once I landed I threw an explosion at the monster which blew it up. It body part flew across the field as I slowly walked towards the girl.


    "You insolent boy. Do you know who I am. You cannot defeat royalty."


    A shield was created around her. Then the being was back. He was behind me and much faster. He grabbed the back of my shirt and threw across the field almost sending me out of bounds. Dimo then stood up and created an army of that being.


    "I see so this your true strength"


    "Let''s settle this once and for all Zacakria"


    "THE ATMOSPHERE OF THE BATTLE HAS CHANGED WITH DIMO GETTING AN UPPER HAND. WHAT WILL ZACKARIA DO"

 The Princess

    I was blocked by these beings there wasn''t much I could do but the look on Dimo''s face was different from when she pressured Me and Zaneff. Back then she was smiling and being cocky however now she had a look of despair and hatred. I knew that look. It was the same one my father had before he killed me. She''s angry at what I did to her. That was obvious but I feel like there''s more to that. The beings approached me. They all circled around me moving in unison. The princess stood away from them. She was looking at the top of the stadium. She was looking at someone. Her hatred grew the longer she started there.


    "IT LOOKS LIKE THE KING OF REINA HAS COME TO SEE HER DAUGHTER FIGHT."


    The King of Reina. Henokai academy is in the Reina Continent. Meaning that this king oversees everything that happens here. I lived in the Deroko Continent one of the richest and strongest continents in the world.


    It seems like she has issues with her dad. Guess we can both relate to that but I can''t lose focus of my goal. I wanted to try out a new move. Something that could help me destroy groups of enemies. First I need to visualise my energy flowing through my entire body. Then all I had to do was release it. Once I focused on releasing it my body started to glow. The princess turned her attention back to me. The being stopped circling around me and started to all head for me at the same time. Before they could touch me time had stopped for about 5 seconds. I was still able to move though. Then I fully released my energy. An explosion like no other was released. This one had power to it. Black and red sparks of energy flew through out the stadium.


    "AMAZING ZACKARIA HAS UNLEASHED A POWER LIKE NO OTHER"


    So much for being under cover. I should calm down a bit. The beings around me had vanished but I couldn''t see Dimo anywhere with all this smoke. Then I saw a silhouette of another one of those beings but when the fog had cleared it was destroyed and fell to the ground. It seemed like it was shielding Dimo since she took no damage.


    "Listen, I don''t really feel like dragging this one any longer than I have to let''s just end this already"


    It was no use. She didn''t even look at me. All she did was look at her father with hatred.


    "Stop being distracted by your dad and fight me. I don''t know why you hate him but It doesn''t matter. You said you''re going to settle this right so let''s do it."


    "What the hell do you know about me you stupid child. What the hell would you know about my life or my family. Stop talking like you know me at all. "


    "And you should stop talking like your better than everyone. What gives you the right to call me an insolent child. You were rude to me the first day I came here even do I didn''t do anything to you. You never apologised. You attacked me when I wanted to talk things out peacefully.     Then she stopped. Her eyes widened at my words. She clutched her fist and grit her teeth but had no hatred in her eyes. She was on the verge of tears. I wasn''t really thinking when I spoke I just said what was on my mind. I guess I went a bit too far but I wasn''t lying she has done nothing but hate on me since I came here. Then she started moving again. This time she was emitting a purple- blackish aura around her as shadows started to appear besides her. I got ready to fight again but then she spoke.


    "I need to win. I can''t lose. My whole life depends on this fight. My life in this Academy depends on this. If I lose I go home with my Dad. I don''t want that. I don''t want to lose. I want to stay here and live a normal life. I despise being royaltly so much. I HATE MY FAMILY."


    Tears falling out of her eyes. Her and her shadows came rushing towards me. I rushed towards them at full speed. I wasn''t going to expose myself. i need to calm down. Just beat them with using to much power like Luni taught you. Putting energy towards my fist I Ran past Dimo and ripped off the head of the shadow beside her. Something that I recently learnt was that you could transfer energy to objects meaning if I give this head my energy It will turn into a bomb. I grabbed as many as I could. They couldn''t fight back no matter how many more she would make They weren''t powerful. I had about 50 heads. One by one i started throwing them and like I said it blew up. I was destroying them faster than she could make them. Once there was a huge gap I rushed towards the princess and punch her in the face. I was going to knock her out or blast her out of the stadium. The longer this match goes the more riskier it is for to get exposed and I was feeling tired from the amount of energy I was using. Sorry Dimo but I need to end this fast as well. The punch only sent her away a few feet though. The dead bodies of the beings on the floor blocked the impact.


    The stadium had been quiet since Dimo spoke. Not even the commentator dared to speak.


    I ran towards her aiming for another punch but she blocked it with her arms then grabbed my right arm it wasn''t enough to stop me though as I sent energy to flow through my right arms but I didn''t release it fully. I just covered the outside of my right arm in it which caused a small explosion between her hand and my arm allowing me to get away. Then the sun came out and shone on me. A princess with a troubled past. This tournament means a lot to her. She is throwing everything she has at me and has a better reason for doing this compared to me. However, I can''t lose. I refuse to. Call it selfish or greedy I don''t care.


    I rushed back at her charging my fist for a blast.


    "I''m sorry Dimo but I can''t lose it here. I mustn''t. I''m fighting for a stupid reason compared to yours. You are fighting for a place in this academy. You hate your family and go don''t want to go back. I know someone who felt the same way as you. He hates his life and wishes he had new parents. I don''t know all the details and I know it''s meaningless coming from me but I hope you can forgive me for doing this."


    "Shiebe. I- I''m sorry for what I did. I was upset. I was upset that someone like you that had a perfect life acts all moody now that it was taken away. Truth is there are a lot of people that are jealous of you and wish they could live your life. I''m one of them. I know what I did was wrong but I still want to fight. I- I don''t want to go home."


    As her tears dropped to the ground. My blast headed towards her knocking her out the stadium.


    It was over. I had won the fight. The sun that was one was gone as it shone on her. You could say that she was a complex person suffering from many things in her life. Just like I did.

 The Day It All Changed

    After I won The academy''s nurses came and took Dimo away. The king had also left the stadium.


    "SHIEBE HAS WOON!!"


    The crowd cheered for me as I made my way back inside the lobby. I wasn''t as happy as i thought I would be. I felt guilty but I would have still made the same choice no matter what. Zaneff was the first one to greet me.


    "You did great out there. Your use of your syreum was nothing but outstanding as expected."


    "Thank''s Zaneff"


    "What''s wrong. You don''t look happy.Did she say something to you. That girl doesn''t seem to learn her lesson. Maybe I should freeze her for entirety."


    "No it''s not her. I''m fine just a bit tired"


    "I see. Maz has already gone. It seems like they started 6 other matches since yours and your one was still the longest. I''m after you so wish me luck."


    "I know you''ve got this"


    She smiled as she made her way towards the field. There was a huge Screen where you could watch all the different matches but it had no audio which is why she didn''t know about Dimo. One of the screens displayed Maz''s match. He was against an upperclassman but he was unfazed. The upperclassman blasted himself up in the air but Maz just summoned lightning to strike him whilst in the air as he fell down Maz jumped towards him and kicked him down to the ground. The other people in the room talked about him and praised him for his efforts. It seemed like those who were part of my fan club were already fighting or got here since they weren''t in the room. I was feeling pretty tired so I headed towards my room my match wasn''t going to happen until tomorrow anyways.


    The next day had come. This time I was alone. I couldn''t find Maz or Zaneff anywhere. In fact it seemed like the academy was empty. There weren''t a lot of people around. Then a professor came up to me.


    "Mr. Zackaria the principal would like to speak to you in her office."


    The principal. It hadn''t spoken to her since I had entered the academy. Is this about Dimo? I made my way to her office. The hallway was empty. The School was quiet. Chills ran down my spine. Did something happen while I was asleep. I had woken up late but there would at least be people around. I stood in front of her door. Just like It was back then. The day I first came to this Academy. I don''t exactly love it here but I enjoy my time with my friends. My syreum training classes don''t really help me out so I mostly just skip them and train on my own. My research on the Z-Mon''s isn''t really going anywhere either. You could say that it''s a waste of time coming here. I slowly opened the door and entered the room.


    The room was dark. Books laid all over the floor. The decorations burnt and ripped. The place was a mess. The opposite of when I had first arrived. The principal sat at her desk facing towards the big window in the room. That was the only source of light in the room. It was raining outside. It seems like this continent has harsher weather conditions compared to where I used to live.


    "You called for me"


    This time I didn''t feel her aura. I didn''t feel anything for her. The knights in the room were gone it''s just her.


    "Ah Shiebe your here"

    The principal was silent for a moment and looked out the window again. I walked towards her to get a view of what she was looking at. The window displayed a view that I was familiar with. Flames. Houses, buildings and even people were set in flames. Purple dark flames. This reminded me of that day. The principal just looked outside the window.


    "W-What the hell happened here!"


    "After, Your match with Princess Dimo. The king had left the stadium. You realised that as well right."


    "Yeah"


    "Once he left he went to the academy''s nurse to grab Dimo once she was healed and the two of them came here. He demanded three things. 1. Shiebe Zackaria will be expelled from this academy. 2. Shiebe Zackaria will be exiled from this continent. 3. Henokai Academy will follow strict orders under the royal family and only students who they see as worthy will be able to attend."


    I looked at her with anger when I had realised what I was looking at.


    "Don''t tell that bastard did this because you didn''t follow his orders!"


    "Yes he did and because he is the king we cannot interfere. Even the council of hope is useless against royalty."


    That son of a bitch. He can''t accept anyone that challenges his way of life huh. Just like my Dad. He can''t talk it out the only thing he can do it abuse his god damn power just to prove a point.


    "Where are the other students."


    "They were all asked to go home until further notice. The Tournament and school is closed down."


    "Then why the hell am I still here. Why didn''t anyone wake me up."


    "Because I told them not to. You were to stay here until you woke up."


    I looked back at her desk. The letter from my dad. I grabbed it and read it.


    Dear Shiebe.


    I am writing this letter to inform you that your mother has been located by an under cover member from the Z-Mon defence Squad in the Land of Vertex. From where you are It will take about 1 month to get there. I am with your older brother and are heading towards the building.I assume that you are at Henokai Academy and will send this letter there. You will head to this place and meet up with us there. No matter what you do be careful. Your mother is not the same person as you had known. She is different. I don''t know what that means yet. It will take about 1 year for this letter to arrive. By the time it does It will take me 1 month to get there.

    I''m sure that the principal already knew from the look on her face. Words could not describe my feelings. I felt happy, sad and angry at the same time. My mother had been found. but she was ''different''. The hell does that mean. I didn''t have time to waste though.

    I see. There wasn''t any time to waste. I rushed back to my room. The city was being destroyed but there''s nothing that I could do about it. I had to go save my mother no matter what. I need to go. I entered my room and grabbed all my notes and books I was researching. I took off my uniform and put on some new adventuring clothes that I got from Zaneff a few months ago. Zaneff and Maz. I won''t be able to say my goodbyes. I know I will write a letter to them. I grabbed a quill and some ink and started to write to them. I kept it brief and simple.


    "Dear Maz/Zaneff.


    I am writing to tell you that I am leaving the academy to look for my mother in the Land of Vertex as she had been found. I will be with my dad. I thank you for everything you guys have done. I love you so much as you''re the first friends I had ever had. I hope you will all do well. I will try and find you guys one day.

    I rushed over to the principal office and told her to send it to Maz and Zaneff''s houses. Then I came outside to the campus. The air smelt of smoke. The sky was dark. The carriage was waiting outside the gates. I headed towards It seem''s like the front of the school was un damaged. I turned around to look back at the academy. I had only been here for 6 months and I was already leaving. Well. It didn''t matter I was going to save my mother.


    Goodbye Henokai Academy.


    I left in the carriage as we made our way out the city. I heard screams and cries.
