Four people awoken skill abilities, such as tailors, artisans, miners and so on. Chapter 2 - Raven the space fairy Chapter 2 ¡°Where am I?¡± I ask as I glanced around the room, my head is still pounding, and this room is only adding to the headache as I sit here confused. ¡°You¡¯re finally awake, stay lying down for a while. You were unconscious for two months, so your body needs to adjust.¡± I¡¯ve never seen the man next to me before, an older gentleman with a long white beard and wearing an expensive dark blue robe. His eyes are purple as if they defy logic themselves. ¡°Uh¡­ Nice to meet you but can you explain what¡¯s going on? He stops for a second as he¡¯s taken aback by the unfamiliar female standing by me. ¡°I didn¡¯t know you had company; do you want me to give you a minute?¡± He said, but in his mind, he thought differently *man these youngsters sure do move fast¡­ oh to be young again* ¡°Uh¡­ its not what you look like, this is my fairy. She is linked to me since I¡¯m technically a dungeon core. I know you told me to wait till tomorrow to try my abilities, but I couldn¡¯t help myself¡­¡± ¡°I see¡­ Well keep this a secret, a fairy is also a dungeon¡¯s weakness. If she were to perish you would go mad, losing all sense of reason.¡± ¡°He is right master; a fairy shares a mental connection to the master. Chapter 3 - Nyx the Golden Goose Chapter 3 *Knock* *Knock* *Knock* ¡°Nyx are you awake? As I promised, I will be teaching you today to prepare you for the entrance exams.¡± ¡°I¡¯m awake old man, give me a moment please¡± Honestly, I never went to sleep, turns out my body doesn¡¯t need to sleep. So, me and Raven spent the night getting to know each other. Turns out fairies are from Olympus, they live in the heavenly garden there. Raven herself has been alive since the beginning of space and time. If she were to die, she would be revived in the garden after a few hundred years retaining her memories. Unfortunately, by the time she revives her bonded dungeon would have already gone mad and killed by the humans. I stand up slowly, realizing I still have no shirt. So, I imagine the one I previously wore, and recreated it directly on my body. That¡¯s kind of handy, I¡¯ll never have to worry about exposing myself mid battle, if I ever battle. Not sure how I a dungeon would fight by myself. ¡°I hope you rested well boy, we have a long day today¡± The old man said sternly, he glanced me over one last time and signaled for me to follow him. ¡°Hey, old man when you say we are preparing for the exams, what will it be about?¡± ¡°Old man huh¡­ I guess I never introduced myself have I. I¡¯m the headmaster in this academy, you will either call me Headmaster or Sage Ezekiel. No more of this old man understood?¡± ¡°Understood headmaster¡± I bow my head quickly to show respect to the headmaster. ¡°Good, now to answer your question. There is a written and physical exam, the written exam is mostly magical theories and monster identifications. As for the physical exam it will be a series of mock battles unfortunately for you, you won¡¯t be able to exert your full potential as a dungeon core.¡± He sighed inwardly before continuing. ¡°Actually, you are the first of your existence, there has never been a walking, talking dungeon, especially a human one. There are theories dungeons have intelligence, but it was never confirmed until I met you.¡± ¡°I can answer that question headmaster¡± Raven butted in the conversation after ease dropping. ¡°Dungeons are born with no intelligence; it is the job of us fairies to teach them and develop their intelligence. As for Master, his situation is indeed unprecedented the only one in this world¡± After speaking she took another second, then conveyed her future intentions to the headmaster. ¡°Actually, as a fairy I can only exert my powers within Masters area of influence. So, I do not wish to enroll in this academy, I will do well serving master as his maid. Honestly, she would rather her and Nyx go hole up in a cave together and start building a dungeon right away. But the old man in front of her has an overwhelming aura surrounding him, naked to the normal eye but she knows there is no chance for them if they were to try and escape. They can only comply and get a late start after the academy. ¡°Good then Raven you are dismissed, please return to the room. Me and Nyx here have allot to talk about.¡± He grabbed Nyx by the shoulder and ushered him down the corridor. ¡°That damn old man¡± Raven thought, as she made her way back to the room. ¡°Alright boy, show me¡± The headmaster said sternly ¡°S-show you what?¡± I asked nervously, the moment we got to his office he has been staring me down as if a predator has just spotted his prey. ¡°Your status boy, share it to me. I want to know what you are working with, so I can work around it¡± ¡°Uh¡­ Sure, here you go¡± I pull up my status screen and push it towards him. ¡°Human Dungeon Core, Create, replicate, absorb, analyze¡­ The headmaster continues reading off my status screen almost as if he¡¯s entranced by it.¡± ¡°I must say Nyx, I¡¯ve never seen anything like it. What is really confusing to me is Create, and replicate? Don¡¯t they seem like the same thing?¡± ¡°I can answer that headmaster, as I¡¯ve used it recently to make clothes for Raven. So, I can absorb materials, they get saved in my core, allowing me to recreate them at anytime with mana.
