《All Out》 Prologue Part 1 This story is a fan fiction of Kohei Horikoshi''s story, My Hero Academia (MHA for short). Have you ever wanted to be famous, to be seen by people as a special person? As just... a somebody. Well, I never had. My true dream was to voice act in anime, both in the Japanese dub and the English dub. I''ve always thought the idea of seeing myself on stage was ridiculous and horrendous. Oh, and my mother had even worse thoughts about me being in the spotlight. I, Emi Brown, am a gifted child who is currently in college¡ªnot to brag or anything, but at 15. I''m taking online college courses because I didn''t want to be far from my sisters or father, but my mother thought. She can kiss my ass. My mother wanted me to work in the science field just like her, but I wanted to be nothing like her. That woman is an evil, chaotic bitch that put me through so much just because she considers me a mistake. Whenever I interacted with that woman, I would always hear égß`¤¤ (Machigai) or mistake. I''ve always been the unwanted child, just like the middle child, Aliyah, but then there''s the youngest child, Zuri. Zuri is the sweetest, most innocent child out there. She is the ray of sunshine needed for this family to stay together. Avery, my mother, has said that Zuri and my stepdad are the reason the family is a whole. Zuri looks just like my father in all of his handsome nature. I believe Zuri is kind of pretty, although her looks were meant to be on a man. Zuri gets praise from Avery for looking like her father, that perfectly sweet man. Aliyah looks just like Avery, but she doesn''t like that she has a miniature version of her. And me... I look like the man who put her through hell and back, my real father. I don''t look exactly like him, but I look like a combination of both of them. When he was in high school, Avery fell in love with a blind man who used crows as his eyes. On the day of Avery''s 18th birthday, she went to meet up with the blind man, though the sweet man that she once knew wasn''t there, and instead it was a hideous creature, a man sent from hell even. That evil man put his hands on Avery, and that is how I came to be. That''s the reason my nickname was mistake and why back then she forced me to live through her torturous abuse until she found true love in my stepfather. ''Don''t get famous and blast me online.'' Those selfish words of Avery''s were the reason I''m in this agency, to begin with. The reason I auditioned to be a part of an idol show is the reason my life fell apart from then on. My dream of being a voice actress was put to the side. Emi Brown is not my name anymore. Instead, it is Emily Fukumoto, my idol name. Apart from having brains, I was a decent singer and could help others if they needed it, but my dancing was atrocious. Never look at me for help with dancing, because I couldn''t do it. When I auditioned for the show, I never told my parents about it, so when I got accepted, I had to tell my dad and Avery. Let''s simplify what happened then? Avery got mad, and Dad got happy. Avery saw Dad happy she reconsidered and smiled on the outside, but on the inside, she wanted to kill me. So now let''s start the show. .?©b©b? ?©b©b?£® A brand new survival named Idol Society was made with the object of creating a Japanese girl group through K-pop training style in a well-known Korean pop agency Daffodil Entertainment. Two guy friends ran this company, one being Korean, the other being Japanese together to create a successful business, and the two each have their own sub-units under Daffodil. They thought it was a good idea to create the survival show since Daffodil had a Japanese counterpart to promote the company. Why not create an idol survival show marketed to truly whoever wanted to see it. So here I am, running out of the bathroom just because I fell asleep since I didn''t get enough time in the morning. "Everyone, remember your groups for the show. If you don''t have one now, just find a random one," one producer said. Before the show could begin, everyone had to be placed in a group and pick a group ranging from 4 to 6 members. I wasted my valuable time entirely, meaning I just had to find any group. I have to do a quick process of elimination of what options are and for who I can befriend in the long run that can help boost my popularity credit. The narrative has been stolen; if detected on Amazon, report the infringement. "5 minutes, everyone," An adult shouted out for the girls to hear. ''Crap, I might be screwed. I just need anyone.'' I look around to see two cat girls sitting down in the corner of the room. One of them being a celebrity. ''Gotcha, I found one to go to.'' I went to them. "Hey, the name''s Emily. I''m in your group now," I bluntly told them, and they just agreed nonchalantly. ''I needed to find at least one more person, then we''ll have a group of 4 altogether.'' "I''m going to go find one more member be right back," I said, then scurried away. I needed someone, literally anyone. I had 2 minutes left, and if I didn''t find someone, or else I''m done for. I had a feeling that if we didn''t find our own groups, the producers would pick for us, and we''d be full of drama and craziness. I could just tell. I was looking for someone, and I saw a crowd surrounding a random girl. I was trying to mind my business, but everyone was crowding her. It was quite obvious she was being overwhelmed. Once the crowd moved to the side, I saw two they were crowding. "Oh my god," I exclaimed to myself. That girl is so pretty. How does she make navy blue look so pretty? And her salmon-brown curls were just so gorgeous. Everything about this girl was pretty. We both locked eyes, and I became frozen in place. ''Wow, just looking at her makes me feel at ease, and look, she''s running in my direction. She''s like a gazelle, so graceful and just so beautiful.'' "Can I join your team?" The girl asked me, grabbing my hands. I nodded. As soon as she touched my hands, I felt a spark in me that just made me fall so hard for her. Our presence together, oddly enough, made 3/4 of the room look at us. "Quick, we need to go to your team," The girl rushed, and I could barely point at the cat girls. "Oh, Kitty''s group," The girl dragged me over to them, and that was it. I had fallen so hard for this girl. It felt like the world was in the palm of our hands. Nothing else mattered. Yep, I liked her. That was pretty obvious. As we made it to the group, the producers and some judges grabbed the ones that needed a group and threw them together, either randomly or because they knew they would cause some drama. "Hey, why don''t we introduce ourselves? I''m Kitty Bank. I can speak both English and Japanese. My quirk is the Cheshire cat, and I''ve been training for 3 years in another agency." Kitty introduced herself. Kitty Bank was definitely someone already well-known in America. I remember seeing her in some movie that went viral mainly because of her. Kitty has a good presence whenever it comes to her performing; maybe it''s good to keep her around. "Oh, don''t mind me asking, but are you half-Japanese?" The other cat girl asked. "Yeah, I''m half white, half Japanese," Kitty further explained to us. "I''m Allison. I''m half Japanese and half French. I''ve been training for 1 year. My quirk is Cheetah." Allison said. With auditions, she was a prominent person to me. I recognized her because her singing voice was like mine but just 10 times better. Allison is a very good singer, but she''s very shy about singing. She auditioned with a rap performance, but she had to do another song singing because the judges said her way of rapping doesn''t fit the way she looked. "Ok, my turn. My name is Ai¡ªwait, no, my stage name is Akemi. I''m fully Japanese, and I''ve been training for 4 years. My quirk is teleportation, and I can make my hair glittery," Akemi started. Everyone looked at me, and to be honest, I was kind of at a loss for words. When I auditioned, the judges told me one-on-one that I needed to use a different last name than Fukumoto, and I had to lie about how many years I''d trained because I''d trained none. And quirk-wise, they''d keep it a secret. Wonder why they''re agreeing to do all of this. Because I''m pretty. Pretty privilege can really help you go far. "My name is Emily...Sheresko. My quirk is some type of animal. I''m half Japanese, half Jamaican, and I''ve been training for 1 year." I lied to them. Sheresko? What the hell kind of last name is that? "Sheresko sounds cool. I wish I could''ve come up with a name like that," Akemi complimented me while holding my hand. Never mind if she thinks it''s cool, then so do I. "Wait, let''s think of a group name since we''re going to be practicing for the show," Alison suggested. "You might think I''m crazy, but what about quirky kids?" Kitty came up with a unique name that I could care less about, especially since we were going to be using this name like once. After we met, we kept on practicing and practicing until it was time to perform our song. I believe our performance was pretty decent. The main problem with our group was our lack of dance skills since me and Alison weren''t good dancers whereas Kitty and Akemi were impeccable. Akemi definitely impressed me the most. Not only was she a great dancer and pretty but her vocals were definitely top tier. Akemi will become an idol. It''s like destiny for her. Kitty has great facial expressions. She knew how to attract the judges, which is a definite need. After everyone performed their song for the judges, we were all categorized into groups that ranked our skills. Alison and I were in C rank, luckily not the lowest E rank. Kitty was in B rank and Akemi was in A rank. "Everyone, we have an announcement to make," The judges started as we were mingling with our ranks. Uh oh, here comes the plot twist. What''s it gonna be a battle against the ranks, random choice generator, mini-games? Thinking about it, could it be a good thing? "You all have, of course, been recorded, and the first episode will be out in two days." One judge started. "But you will all be allowed to use your phones on days the episodes come out in Japan and you can''t mingle with those in any other ranks but the ones you are in. Do so when the cameras aren''t on," They informed us all. For every good news comes bad news. That''s how life goes, but this is tragic for me because I can only interact with Akemi weekly or if I''m lucky when the cameras aren''t on, but that''s from 9 PM to 5 AM. Maybe when I get the time, I''ll confess to her. I''ll tell her my true feelings when I get the chance too and hopefully, when we are in the same group, we''ll build our relationship further. First mission, get the girl. ...Prologue part 1... Prologue part 2 This story is a fan fiction of Kohei Horikoshi''s story, My Hero Academia (MHA for short). Operation True Love is in session. Someone always surrounded Akemi. I mean, what do you expect from someone who''s great at it all while being stunning at the same time? Akemi is always with an abundance of people, and it seems she''s friends with everyone in her rank and the B rank. Yet since we can''t hang out with the other ranks too much, she stays with the A''s. The A ranks are so cocky they get up to the top, and suddenly they''re the queens of this planet. I never really thought about it, but it''s hard being friends with people when you constantly say your opinions about things they don''t agree with, especially pussies who can''t handle constructive criticism. How can you ask someone for tips on your singing but then can''t take it when your shit sounds like shit? No one in my rank likes me, and there are a lot of them. Thank God Alison tolerates me, or else I would''ve had no hope of having any friends¡ªnot that I had a choice. I sat in the vocal room eating my dinner by myself, and I suddenly saw Akemi randomly enter the room, slamming the door behind her and then locking it. I knew God heard my prayers. This was my chance to make a move. Akemi noticed me and waved shyly. "Oh, hey~ we worked together before. I remember your Emi, right?" Akemi tried to refresh her mind. "Aw man, so close! My name''s Emily, not Emi, but you could call me Emi. I don''t mind," I told her and continued eating. Does that sound cool? I was just honest. I hope I wasn''t too mean. "No, no, I just wanted to choose a name you were comfortable with, but if you are cool with it, I don''t mind." Akemi rubbed the back of her head and looked away. We both went quiet for a while. "So... why did you run in here? Don''t you have friends?" I asked her genuinely. Not like that question matters. I just want to hear her voice again. "Why? Does my presence bother you that much?" Akemi joked and thought she was being serious. "No, not at all. I love your presence and you being here and talking to me." I panicked and blurted everything just so The room went quiet, and both of us started blushing out of embarrassment. Akemi was looking away shyly. "Wow, I didn''t know you liked me that much," Akemi said to herself lowly. "Yeah, a lot actually," I admitted to her. I was doing it. I was finally doing it. I stood up and walked to her. I held her hands gently and took a breath before talking. "What are you doing?" Akemi asked, scared. "Akemi, I''ve had a crush on you for a week now, and it''s for real," I confessed, but I saw Akemi''s shaking form. Is she uncomfortable with me? Wait, no, I didn''t mean to. "If you don''t like me, I''m sorry for everything I''m doing to you. I''m sorry for making you uncomfortable." I apologized, but Akemi stopped me. "Don''t go. I''m sorry. I just wasn''t used to someone being so gentle with me." Akemi felt regret because of the way she reacted. Not used to someone being gentle? What the hell does that mean? "I''m sorry, I do like you too. Just...forget what I said," Akemi confessed, but I couldn''t focus when I noticed Akemi rubbed the back of her neck again in the same spot. When she removed her hand, I noticed a small dried-up cut. Then I noticed some bandages on her arms. Akemi''s face was so sad. Am I forcing her into this? Wait, that could just be her normal resting face. I mean, I have a resting bitch face as well, but hers makes her look depressed. Wait a minute, she always has this face. Maybe it is a resting face. "Akemi, are you¡ª" I put my hand on her face and made her flinch. "D-don''t do that. It makes me uncomfortable," Akemi revealed, making me immediately apologize. "I-I''m sorry. I just wanted to know if you''re ok," I further apologized. "Yeah, why?" Akemi''s words made me feel I was just overreacting. Maybe I was just thinking too much. It was never that serious. Having a dull look on your face is normal, and the cuts on her body could be because she''s clumsy and tends to hurt herself often. Oh, and her flinching could just be a sign she''s not into physical touch. Maybe I should calm down with holding her hands. I''ll go at her pace, and that''s how a good relationship goes. Eventually, we''ll be married. "Emi!" Akemi shouted, taking me from my trance. "We have to hurry and get downstairs. The announcement said they''ll play the second episode of the show for everyone," Akemi exclaimed and ran out of the room holding my hand. This text was taken from Royal Road. Help the author by reading the original version there. Wait, they did? I wasn''t listening. As we ran down, we saw surprisingly not too many people were there. Possibly late. I noticed with the few people who were interacting with the different ranks. Wait, we didn''t have to stay with our ranks. Perfect! We get to spend more time together. Hold up, I need to learn to relax a bit. I''m acting way too possessive. I need to let her want to do this. "I see some seats in the middle area. Let''s¡ª" Akemi dragged me to the middle row, and we sat down. Akemi held onto my arm and leaned on it, making me tense up. "I-I thought you didn''t like anything physical?" I asked, stuttering in the process. "I just don''t like it when it''s reciprocated." Akemi looked up at me, nuzzling on my arm. This woman is going to be the death of me. "Why? Do you not like this?" Akemi asked, prompting me to react awkwardly. "No, I-I don''t mind. I just want to understand why you like touching, but don''t want to be touched." I was trying to explain myself, but I heard some giggling from a few seats beside us. Oh, it was Kitty and Alison. "Let''s go to them," Akemi ordered. Wow, I never do what others tell me to do, and I just blatantly did what she said cause she wanted to. Also, she didn''t even ask, and I just did it. Maybe I should be. I was thinking to myself while I walked over to them. "Oh, to be young and madly in love like you two," Alison said mockingly. "Why are you acting like you aren''t married with a kid incoming?" Kitty asked softly, punching her. "Married with a kid¡ªHow old are you?" I asked Alison. "I''m 23, and I have, yes, my baby''s coming," Alison explains, shocking me. "Whoa, but you look so young I thought you were at least 18," Akemi became impressed with Alison''s young looks. "I could lie about my age. Why? Did none of you lie about it?" Alison asks, and we all go on and say our ages. "I''m 17 with a sexy girlfriend," Kitty bragged. "No one asked about your girlfriend," I started. "I''m 15." "And I''m 16," Akemi followed. "What? So no one here lied about their age. I mean, I guess I could since I wasn''t in the spotlight," Alison noticed. "Both of my parents own successful media conglomerates, so we were bound to be well known, especially since my family is known for being good-looking," Akemi explained her reason. "My grandmother on my mom''s side had a popular martial arts company in Japan that had many Pro Heroes practice there with my aunt and mother being the face of the company. Though that company has been passed to my aunt." I told them. "My mother is a famous lawyer in the States, but my dad is a model and an actor, though no one knows about me since I was kind of the result of an affair," Kitty revealed, shocking all of us. "Wait a minute, are you Minato Takamoto''s daughter?" Alison said, "I always thought this, but you look like a miniature version of him." "Wow, I never realized I look so much like him," Kitty shyly said. "No way. That scandal was the biggest one in Japan, and it even cause his divorce, but they even said it was false, and if your mother is who I think she is, then of course she''s famous cause she''s hot," Akemi started fangirling. "Oh wait, is your mother that Megan Fox lookalike? I can tell since you two have the exact same quirk also, it''s your eyes too," I spotted right away. Of course, pretty people had pretty parents. That''s exactly how it works. "Everyone, listen up!" An adult up front started that. "Since it seems not too many have come here, we''ll just start the episode. If they didn''t come, that''s on them." Throughout the episodes we kept on whispering to each other, and I honestly had some fun with them, which wasn''t the plan, but they were cool, and I got a girlfriend if we can call each other that. The episode to me was pretty boring because no drama happened until I was there. It was like I was the problem, of course, since I''m the one speaking my opinion. I also noticed the way the show edits. It seemed like I was just disrespecting others'' vocal abilities instead of giving them tips. Of course, what did I expect? Of course, I would be the bad guy. Somehow, the introvert became the bad guy. Afterwards, the producers allowed us to stay together, and we visited each other''s dorms. Me and Akemi were holding hands the entire time, making my heart flutter. As we were going to Kitty''s room, a lady stopped us. It was one judge. "Oh, I just wanted to say good job, all of you, and Kitty, good job, especially on you. You helped your team win the challenge," The lady said. The lady handed a present to Kitty. It was true Kitty helped her team win, but I wouldn''t say she''s the main reason they won. It was obvious they won because of Alison since she gave Kitty some tips. "Ms. Suzuki, you don''t have to give this to me. I surely don''t deserve this." Kitty was acting modest. "Trust me, Kitty, you deserve this award indeed," Ms. Suzuki told Kitty while smiling at her. "Also, Akemi, here are your pil-." Akemi snatched the bottle from her hand, shocking everyone. "Just go," Akemi ordered, and the lady left us. "We''ll head inside," Alison said, dragging Kitty with her. I looked at the bottle and saw they were antidepressants. I was right to be worried... I was right about everything I thought was wrong with her. The cuts, her constant dull face, just why she was never too social to begin with¡ª "Do you feel disgusted by me?" Akemi asked, making me shocked by her words. "I would never feel disgusted by you. How could you say that?" I responded, taken aback. "Because everyone is once you see underneath my sleeves, the stockings. Once you see the true me, I won''t look like this gorgeous creature. This heavenly object, just this perfect being," Akemi revealed, making me feel horrible for her. "That''s why I do it...That''s why it''s all over my body, because I know that I''m imperfect and I''ll forever be that way. It keeps me in check and helps me realize that no matter how many people tell me I''m beautiful, all it takes is one look at my scars, and then I''ll instantly become an ogre towards them, a monster even." Akemi looked away from me, her arm shaking. "So now you know that truth," Akemi said, taking a breath. Akemi turns her head my way. "That''s why I¡ª" I stopped her with a kiss. I closed my eyes while Akemi had hers opened in shock. I broke the kiss and started kissing her left arm. "We''ve been in here for what? a month? No matter how many scars, no matter how many cuts, no matter how rich you are, no matter how you look, or how you act, or just who you are in general," I started. "You will always and forever be beautiful in my eyes," I told her while smiling. We were both quiet, but then I saw a twinkle in her eyes, as if her glittery quirk somehow got into her eyes. The way her face lit up while looking at me to reveal her true beauty. Something not too many people have seen from her. A happiness only I saw, something I could cherish forever. For the first time here... I saw Akemi smile, even if it was a sad one. And for the first time here, I saw Akemi''s eyes full of tears, even if they were happy ones. Akemi ran to me and hugged me, crying while in my arms. "Don''t ever leave me," Akemi started. "Don''t you ever abandon me, Emi.". This was it. We were going to be in it for a long time. I was never in my life going to abandon Akemi. She was someone that I would never get rid of, someone I would always and forever love. I never felt so connected with someone before. I never felt so at peace with someone before, not even my family could make me feel this type of love. Well, I mean they are a mess, but still... I was going to be with her for a long time. Which reminded me... For us to have a happy time together, we have to debut together. We won''t be able to have a good relationship without me debuting with Akemi. I''m already at risk of being eliminated since I''m neither being liked by the audience nor the judges, no matter how much I''ve improved, which means I need to do something drastic to get the audience''s approval. Right now I have an educated theory about how it''s gonna end, and that''s with Akemi coming in first place and potentially being a main vocalist. Either I need to come up with some type of skill that has the audience liking me or doing something heroic or nice to get the audience to like me. I need to debut with Akemi. That''s my main mission as of now. Operation True Love: Success Next Operation debut: Now in session ...Prologue part 2... prologue 3 Operation Debut: In session Right now there are a few more episodes till the finale, and I''m still here with the remaining 20 girls. I must debut with a group of 11, and there seems to be no hope for me. As of right now, since the next two episodes would be a two-part special and there weren''t too many ranks left, they dropped the ranks and let us mingle around on camera without problems. I was standing by my dorm room since I lost pretty much all my roommates during the episodes. I was waiting for Kitty, Alison, and ?Akemi?. I overheard some other girls discussing something interesting. "I heard the producers talking, and they said Alison wasn''t gonna debut if they couldn''t find another person to rap with her," A girl whispered. "What? But she''s one of the top singers here. She''s right with Akemi," Another girl whispered. "You know that stuff doesn''t matter as long as you''re pretty, and since Alison is supposedly 19, she''s currently the oldest of us, and the producers claim she''s way older than that and are worried her true age might show," "A lot of the girls here might not debut because either their spot has been reserved for someone else, they''re not popular, or their looks don''t fit the group." "So not only did the producers decide to keep their main lineup from the beginning, but they are also bringing in popular members?" "Exactly...Wait, a lineup has already been decided?" "Not really. They just kept a certain group of people they thought were marketable, and then the final lineup would be all producer picks except for one person." Talent doesn''t matter...This group is gonna fail with the way they were choosing the members. If they want the group to succeed, then they need to have skills to succeed. Is debuting in a potentially bad group even worth it at this point? "Emily, can you help me with the lyrics?" A girl suddenly asked. "What?...Why would you want my help?" I questioned. "Because I thought since you were a pro when it came to vocals, you could help," Se explained. I knew the basics and could help her, but the question was why me over literally anyone else, especially when I''m the least likable person here. "Sure, whatever," I replied, but then suddenly some more girls came to me for help. The next thing I knew, I was helping 5 girls with their songs and whatever problems they had with their lyrics. I didn''t understand why they needed my help until I saw Kitty peeking from behind the door cheekily. When she smiles like that, she truly reminds me of the Cheshire cat. From that, I could tell she probably told them to come to me or recommended me. I asked the girl next to me, "Who told you to come to me for advice?" I asked her. "Alison," She answered, which shocked me. Wait, if Alison recommended her to me, why is Kitty watching me right now? Also, why would she recommend me when she''s a better singer than me? I went to Kitty''s and opened the door. "What are you doing? What''s going on?" I asked her. "Nothing, just watching my bestie." Kitty''s obvious lie made me believe she''s planning something stupid. "Watching your ''bestie'' help out others doesn''t seem very entertaining. Also, what''s up with Alison sending me some girls my way to help when she needs to boost her popularity some way?" I asked Kitty, and she looked confused. "There''s rumors going around saying that Alison won''t debut if they can''t find another rapper, or else Alison would just be a useless member," I informed, and she looked at me shocked. "What?" Kitty started, "We did all of this because we were worried that you probably wouldn''t be able to debut." In my head, I thought Alison was doing this because she was lazy when, in reality, she was trying to help me. I didn''t think they saw me as that close of a friend to want to help me. I guess I made the right decision to choose their group in the beginning. "After I finish working with them, we need to have a group discussion about this," I declared, and Kitty agreed. I closed the door behind me and noticed the silence in the room. "If you or Alison can''t debut, then who will help us when any one of are struggling?" One girl questioned. The other girls nodded their heads, and I sighed. This girl stood out because she was the best dancer among the remaining girls, but she wanted to be known as a vocalist instead of for her dance skills. Her name was Sakura, and just like her name, she can make cherry blossoms appear on her.The narrative has been taken without permission. Report any sightings. Sadly, her personality wasn''t as pretty as her quirk she was one of Akemi''s friends who didn''t like me or my critiques. "Don''t worry, I will debut and help all of you. Alison will debut as well, I promise you that." I reassured them, though I did not know whether or not I would debut or if they would either. They were popular members, so I assumed maybe they would. I should''ve been nicer while here; now I''m worried I won''t be able to debut with the rest of them. "Anyways, let''s get back to helping you all." .?©b©b? ?©b©b?£® I was in Akemi''s room with the group, walking back and forth, thinking about ways to save us from not being in the lineup. From what I know, the producers are choosing their main lineup, and the audience vote will be for one person only. The audience vote is out of the question; the real question is whether or not I''ve proved myself valuable to be a part of the group. And if I haven''t yet, how can I prove to them I''m valuable? Also, how to help Alison, she''s¡ª Damn it! I didn''t want to have to do this, but it seems I have no choice. "A rapper," I mumbled. "Huh," Alison muttered. "You seemingly won''t debut unless there''s a second rapper... I''m willing to become said second rapper," I offered. Alison sighed in relief. "Wait, but why become a rapper now when you''ve rejected the opportunity countless times?" Kitty asked me. When you''re the only Black person accepted into the show and you''re constantly being encouraged to act like the stereotype that all Black people are ''hood'' or ''rappers,'' it is just very degrading and discourages me from wanting to debut. "I just want to, in order to keep Alison from being eliminated¡ª" I truthfully confessed. "Whatever, just please debut," Akemi begged. "If you''re gonna rap, let me help you trade lines with someone else," Allison suggested. There were two rapper roles in the song, which were the main rapper and the lead rapper, both having a similar amount of lines, though the main rapper would have the biggest impact. The song was a pretty-sounding school-like song. Sakura had the lead rapper role along with some vocal lines that didn''t fit her vocal range, and it didn''t help that she was pretty weak vocally. So maybe my lines would help her out better. Me and Alison went to my room since Sakura and I were roommates. Suddenly, we saw a group of girls laughing pretty loud while sitting on beds and in chairs. "Hey, have you seen Sakura?" I asked them, making them all go quiet. The room was suddenly so silent that all the girls were looking away while one girl muttered up the courage to talk. "Why? Is she your friend or something?" Someone asked. "No, we were planning on helping her with something¡ª" Alison got interrupted when someone blurted out something. "There''s no way to help someone that sounds like a dying cat," The whole room gasped, but no one admitted who just spoke. So that''s how we''re playing. "Cameras are on, so I advise you to be careful with what you say unless you truly want to get both eliminated and hated on," I warned them, closing the door. Think it''s a good idea to talk about someone behind their back. As expected from big-mouthed bitches. God, why can''t some people keep it to themselves unless it''s helping them in the long run? "Oh look, she''s there," Alison brought to my attention as I saw Sakura walking by herself. Me and Alison jogged up to her. "Sakura, can I please switch roles with you?" I asked her as soon as I came up to her. This should be easy. Sakura wants to be seen as a singer, and getting a rapper role from her and giving her a vocalist position should be good for her to showcase her true talent. "No," Sakura responded. "What wh¡ª" "Because even with the few lines that required me to sing, I struggled HARD with it." Sakura started, "It''s better for me to stick to rapping since it''s obvious I can''t sing." Sakura, are you serious? God, of course, people who are most definitely debuting are bad-mouthing others or the least confident in themselves. But yet the only ones who truly try hard are the ones who believe they won''t debut. "Sakura, my lines fit your vocal range the best. You shouldn''t struggle as much as you are now if we switch lines," I was trying to convince her. "No!" Sakura kept refusing. "Damn it, Sakura, what will make you say yes?" I cursed at her. "Please, Sakura, we need your help," Alison begged. "If you were as untalented as me, you could see why I would¡ª" "Are you serious right now? I am at risk of not debuting right now BECAUSE of how untalented I am. Sakura, you were in the official lineup since the beginning. I mean, you are loved by the audience and the producers, while both hate me. I''m not gonna debut BECAUSE everyone here freaking hates me and is just praying for my downfall. Right now I should cry and complain, NOT YOU!" I shouted at Sakura. The hallway went silent. Whoever was in the hallway at the time stared at me. I looked like an ant shouting at Sakura, but she needed to hear this. "Emi-" Alison put a hand on my shoulder, but I shrugged it off. "If you want to be known as a good vocalist, then prove you are one instead of bitching about it. I have no other choice but to use your lines to potentially not only save myself but Alison as well, yet you''re sitting there on your throne whining about what? THAT YOU''RE UNTALENTED!" I continued, and I could see Sakura shaking in fear. "You know what? Screw you and your lines. If you''re not gonna help, I''d rather not debut and hope Alison does instead of hearing you¡ª" I practically blew up on her, and I saw her put her head down. "Fine, we''ll trade roles!" Sakura shouted back, and I could see her holding back her tears. "But if I don''t debut¡ª" "Just shut the hell up about whether or not you''ll debut and come with us," I told her, dragging her with us. With that, I''ll use this role to the very extent and try my hardest to do what I can with this. .?©b©b? ?©b©b?£® It''s late at night. The rest of my roommates were asleep, and I just came from the bathrooms. As I walked back to my room, I heard someone call me. It was Akemi. "Oh, Akemi," I responded, but then she suddenly hugged me. "Emi...I''m scared," Akemi was trembling in my arms. "Akemi! What are you scared about?" I worriedly asked her. Akemi had tears forming in her eyes. Did someone hurt her? Did someone make her feel uncomfortable? What is wrong with her? "I''m worried you won''t be able to debut. I don''t want to go on without you, especially after what you promised." Akemi was teary-eyed and barely able to hold herself together. Akemi was just worried about me. I mean, why wouldn''t she? I feel hurt because I made her like this, so down and sorrowful, just when I was seeing her smile more. "Don''t worry, Akemi. I''ll most definitely debut. And if I don''t, you can punch or slap me¡ªjust hurt me however you want," I pledged, and Akemi punched me in the arm. "Don''t say that. I would never hurt you," Akemi responded. And the same goes for me. I would never hurt you. I hope we never hurt each other. Never ...Prologue part 3...
