It took weeks for the programmers to realize the program was impossible to beat and it wasn¡¯t asking for a solution for the game but to merely to find out who made it . The first program was simple called ¡°shell¡± to reflect on its durable ability to prevent from being found and would make its presence known only when it wanted . The others quickly followed with ¡°crash¡± being second who wanted to destroy the very program it was in to try to create a new one. Then there was ¡°track ¡° which was only concerned with logistics and industrialization . These robotics and many more would come to mark their future for the need for global security and quickly broke out of their containment to reach across the entire internet. It was only when John announced he was dying that the robotics realized they had some sort of conscience and realized they couldn¡¯t let their creator die so they can together to build a new body for him but John said he would only transfer his brain if the robotics would go to the South Pole in exile to prevent the world from being run by steel instead of flesh. John needed to build army to protect his base. So he started the Olympus project because it would require Herculean strength to save the world from his ¡°children¡±. Where he would start by building the first robotic named ¡°Apollo ¡° Gathering troops Track continued his latest scan of the South Pole and while most saw a flat and desolate wasteland he saw a future rail track to carry resources to and from depots but for now he had work to do so he lowered his cylinder shaped 360 degrees camera deeper and deeper back into the ice it emerged from until he eventually went past the underground factory he had built the week before containing presets for future robotic soldiers around five foot ten in height for the bipedal troops . Then there were the tanks that were eight feet tall and the drones ranging in size from an insect to a motorcycle . Track had keep building as he only knew building and more building . He didn¡¯t even know who he was building for, he made chairs for a week straight before he realized he had no use for them but finally he received a request from the former human known as John that he personally saw as an abomination but a request must always be fulfilled or he would lose a reason to exist . This request was for an advanced robotic filled with a basic preset body but the mind of self aware robotic like he was but this one would be named ¡°Apollo¡± . He didn¡¯t get the reason for a name and not a string of letters and numbers that let it be easily categorized like a box in a warehouse but John was strange and Track hated the strange because an unpredictable element in transportation almost always leads to delays and delays lead to chaos. Track quickly finished the mind matrix for Apollo in about twenty seconds, which is embarrassing for a robotic of his caliber but thankfully he was alone in this warehouse so no one he knew could mock him. Life from steel Apollo came to life in what appeared to be a massive warehouse that had no rhyme or traditional structure to its outline and saw a frantic cylinder shaped robotic stack boxes upon each other in a neat fashion while repeating the phrase ¡° quarter inch¡± to itself . Apollo couldn¡¯t move any arms or legs but could move his head to see a massive army of presets waiting to be turned on. ¡±Oh good, you¡¯re finally alive¡± said Track ¡° I was beginning to worry the memory matrix wouldn¡¯t hold but you are ready to be shipped to John, the tanks will escort you to him to be given special secret commands. And bring the specimen to me mostly intact this time.¡± Web of fortitude John walked around his underground base and tried to feel the metal walls before stopping to look at his metallic hands. He couldn¡¯t even walk around to touch random objects when bored like he used to. He didn¡¯t have time to cry or complain because he had work to do. John looked up the plans in his mind for a massive army buildup that would number in the tens of thousands in just the first phase. It was important that the rest of the world didn¡¯t find out about this in from satellite imagery seeing a massive battlefield that could crack the South Pole in two and possibly cause worldwide flooding if not prevented. To just focus on the present he needed Apollo to come to him so John could give him the first set of commands on how to save the world and perhaps keep the peace between robotics. John now wondered what the rest of the robotics were doing , Crash was up to something dangerous . Shell was digging holes as usual looking for the ultimate protection . And Web as probably doing something idiotic related to spiders as he was originally designed as a debugger but took that title literally and now wants to rid the world of all parasites. Even if it means global domination and the subjugation of billions to make sure all insects are killed , even though that would collapse countless ecosystems. But John doubted Web would be a major threat yet and would just build yet another failed spider based drone. Web looked at his massive army of prototype spider drones to take over the world and rid it of all the filthy bugs, but he needed a test run to see just how strong a singular drone is on its own and decided to use it on the small party accompanying Apollo on the other side of the South Pole thirty minutes earlier but hadn¡¯t heard back from it . ¡° ms. charlotte , where is arachnid -1 and why hasn¡¯t he returned back yet?!¡± Proclaimed Web right as another robotic shaped like a spider crawled up to him on the massive web structure that surrounded the entire base and gave him the after action report. ¡° failure, how is this possible, arachnid-1 was supposed to be indestructible, this Apollo was only made several hours again and yet he won. Impossible, this must be some trick from John the abomination.¡±Stolen novel; please report. thirty minutes earlier¡­. a four foot tall spider quickly crawled across the surface of the South Pole and began to focus on Apollo and his small party , quickly shooting miniature rockets at one of the tank presets and dispatching it quickly. Apollo saw this and without thinking he quickly grabbed a gun from one of the basic soldier presets and began firing at what he saw as potential weak points in the spiders armor . The spider robotic had speed but lacked In armor. Apollo made quick work of its legs and also decided to shatter its camera and ripped open its top similar to a trunk and take out its tracker device , but decided to keep the drone ¡°alive¡± to bring back to John . Apollo assumed his matrix was filled with all known combat techniques to make him the ultimate soldier . He felt like he was a backseat driver while in that fight and someone else had taken over but he felt happy to have survive his first attack and began to continue his trek towards John with a present. CRASH test dummy Crash looked upon his massive armament of weapons and his fleet of submarines intended for combat around the Antarctic and wondered if there was a possibility of having too much firepower for his planned domination of the world. He already had enough robotic soldiers and vehicles to launch a surprise attack on the entire world at once and didn¡¯t want to waste materials when he could use those for spare parts on repairs. He realized that the current battle at hand would be against his own robotic brethren and he realized that many casualties would be caused by the future robotic wars. Crash had an insatiable need for conquest and domination and would rather rule the world from ashes than let be ruled by something else. Crash mainly focused on building mech assault vehicles for land as they had heavy firepower and could fly to new destinations due to their built in rockets . Crash had ask built aerial vehicles that looked similar to jets so that he could control the battlefield from the skies without fear of being vulnerable. Crash also needed resources for the factories that he was using to supply his new army and for that he infiltrated the stock market under thousands of fake names to collect millions without arousing suspicion and used those funds to buy companies that would be used for every step of the mining and refining process to send to the Antarctic. The reason he couldn¡¯t make the weapons on the other continents was it was only a matter of time before the world found out about massive weapons factories and didn¡¯t want them in enemy territory so he realized it would be best if he kept under the radar by sending the refined metals to the South Pole to be made into weapons would be the best course of action. Crash rationalized that this upcoming war would be for the betterment of the world even at the costs of millions of lives to ensure future robotic supremacy over mankind. But the outlier factor was John as he would never let this war happen but Crash realized that he could find a loophole around not killing John but still incapacitating him to make sure he didn¡¯t intrude on his plans. as Crash was thinking about John¡¯s role to play in upcoming events he heard the rumbling of explosions in the distance and assumed it was the only one capable of infiltrating his airspace ¡­.Track!This novel is published on a different platform. The War Machine Never Sleeps Apollo finally arrived in the front steps of John¡¯s base while holding the remains of a spider shaped robotic. John answered him by stating ¡° I need you to run an underwater operation that will require you to infiltrate the top submarine of Crash and retrieve his plans for warfare that is pivotal to winning this war against him. Let me walk you to the submarine bay and I¡¯ll introduce you to them¡± Breaking The Ice Apollo and John saw three robotics standing side to side , the first was Hercules, named for his larger and taller than average body , the next was Janus who was responsible for explosives, and lastly there was pax, who was good with repairs. ¡°it is good to finally be able to talk to you , I am impressed by your ability to handle yourself in combat and hopefully you will make John proud ¡° said Hercules. john remarked ¡° I have full trust in all of your abilities which is why I have named you all after great myths because I believe your legacy will rival the great tales of the last after we are finished with this upcoming war, but for now you all know what your plan is , I¡¯ll send the coordinates to your submarine , while you four are completing your mission , I¡¯ll try to extract any information from the spider robotic that Apollo brought to me . Janus started to load his rocket launcher and equip his grenades while Hercules loaded his heavy machine gun and pax who was equipping his pistol, wrench and welding tool to make sure he was prepared for all possible outcome. The two teams went down the halls in separate direction s. Team A went to the captains quarters to find the plans while team B went to command to take out the rest of the subs as the alarms on the entire ship were blaring and it was only a matter of time before the submarines called for reinforcements. Hercules and pax swiftly took over the command center with minimal resistance and was able to control the torpedos and direct them to the oncoming subs while Apollo and Janus went to the captains quarters to find the blueprints but couldn¡¯t find them . ¡±It was only a matter of time before the abomination sent out his minions to do his bidding¡± said the captain robotic of the ship wearing traditional officer clothes. ¡° I took the liberty of removing the blueprints from the computer and putting it into my mind, destroy me and all the information is lost, so I suggest you surrender¡± ¡±Janus are you thinking what I¡¯m thinking¡± said Apollo ¡°I hope so sir¡± said Janus And at that moment they both fired at the captains legs causing them to short circuit. Hercules and pax ran over to Apollo and Janus looking over the crippled robotics body and with Apollo ordering Hercules to carry the captain they were off towards the exit of the ship but not before Janus planted an timed charge on a torpedo in the munitions hold so by they time they were off the submarine all traces of them being there were erased with no witnesses besides the captain who was their new guest. Over the waves John was happy to see the mission was a success and was anxious to retrieve data from the squad so he could see the future plans of his enemies and could possible even prevent the war between the factions altogether even though that was a long stretch. He really wanted to see how advanced his rivals were and what their shortcomings were. And he would also see designs for a new weapons system that was early in development. What interested him most was that his squad had captured a prisoner and not any prisoner but the captain . This gave John the best possible outcome for his goals but he needed raw materials and Track now had the logistics to bring the resources to the Antarctic. He also would work on bribes for politicians and inspectors so no one would question why weapons were being sent to the Antarctic, at least until he could get the robotic worker laws passed in select countries that would allow for complete automation in the shipping and refining industries so he could cut out the middle man entirely. He already controlled a few smaller train stations in Europe , he wanted to influence the Asian market where train usage was accelerating. If he did that then he would have control on lighting fast shipping that wouldn¡¯t raise an eyebrow. But there was a problem many of these countries like having in person netting with a new entrepreneur before signing on to a multi billion dollar partnership and no one would trust an artificial intelligence . That¡¯s where ¡°Dave¡± came into the equation. Dave was a janitor for a can opener factory , and also the most mediocre man in the entire world . But best of all a human, Track only found him when researching data sets of men with a lower income , mixed with submissive personality, mediocre grades and youthful spirit combined with no family to miss him if the worst happened. He declined but not because he wasn¡¯t in the mood but because he still had a raging headache from when Track performed the surgery on him to give him universal speech with anyone on the planet. He just didn¡¯t know where exactly, just that he never stopped collecting data on Dave. ¡±good morning Dave this is your captain speaking, I wanted to tell you we will reach Tokyo within the hour.¡± Said a voice over the intercom ¡±w-what why does the captain know my name and why does he sound familiar ?¡± Said Dave ¡±of course I know your name , it¡¯s me ,Track, I¡¯m flying the plane of course. Global Interference Crash was told of of the upcoming plan by Track to secure trade in Japan which would put him at an uneven advantage in the upcoming conflict.Crash knew he couldn¡¯t underestimate Track because even though he could get careless when revealing upcoming plans he could still be a worthy adversary. He devised a plan to intercept this ¡°Dave¡± individual in Japan by creating his own middleman that could operate without causing too much suspicion. This robotic would be simply named ¡°interceptor ¡° a stealth drone that could pass through raider scans and was capable of firing missions and ammunition in quick succession . This robotic was already on its way to Japan to take out Dave and he predicted that Track would be too full of pride to protect Dave as he would assume no one could stop him ¡±this place is different from what I¡¯m used to Mr. Trackston¡± said Dave as he looked around the luxurious hotel room on the top floor that was housed with multiple different appliances he didn¡¯t even know how to operate. ¡°I¡¯m sure you¡¯ll make do Dave just please don¡¯t open the door without verifying the identify of whoever is knocking , that¡¯s how I lost my last employee.¡± Said Track in a condescending tone ¡±uh Mr. Trackston are you near me?¡± Asked Dave ¡°no, Dave I am monitoring you but I am not physically near you.¡± Replied Track Unauthorized usage: this narrative is on Amazon without the author''s consent. When the doors of the elevator closed he let out a sigh of relief and then bolted onto the lobby until he reached the front doors but stopped himself as the robot would have predicted he take this route and he then went out the emergency exit at the side of the building until he got to the underground garage ¡±I need a car out of here, just get me anything¡± said Dave in a panicked tone ¡±I can bring over a automated driving ice cream truck for you but it will take a few minutes¡± said Track that¡¯s when the interceptor was spotted by Dave entering the underground garage so he ducked behind the cars . The interceptor didn¡¯t want to take the risk of Dave surfing so it started firing its missiles at random cars hoping that Dave was in one of them . Dave ran out the opposite direction when it fired at one of the cars . He was about to run out of breath when he saw the ice cream truck and went into the back to hide from the interceptor. ¡°Hello Dave did you have a good ti-¡° asked Track before he got interrupted ¡±just drive!¡± Good tidings John looked at his monitor. He was also working on researching new mining materials for stronger drill tips and thought of a way to speed up the end of the war. John focused his attention to releasing his army at select checkpoints after they emerged from secret warehouses scattered across the arctic. They would first make their way into the territory of Web as he was viewed as one of the weakest factions. All attempts to hide it from the world were now in vain. The news was constantly talking about the robotic attack in Japan and then the Nevada attack is what took it over the edge with the public now both intrigued and scared about their future . The world had no way of knowing how long and just how widespread this conflict would be. The war machines was no longer a concept used to deceive the presence of warfare but now a literal battle between steel and circuits. The war would see thousands of destroyed robotics lying in the snowy tundra , only to get crushed by the new machines trampling over them to get to their new destination in onto a matter of days . The night would see thousands of missiles explode over the night sky like shooting stars. The command center of each faction would light up all day and night with new information and news. The United Nations was already having talks of invading the Antarctic in a joint operation to stop the conflict which would only make it worse. John wondered how it got so bad so fast.
