《Echoes of a Dream》 Chapter 1 The Dream that Never ends The man who fell. Wings as black as death itself, as black as darkness itself. **TRAITOR, TRAITOR, TRAITOR.** Dreams. Some say they reveal your deepest desires, the truest and most fruitful wishes lying within your soul. Others believe dreams show you your darkest fears or your true self, your shadow. I personally believe dreams hold a lot of meaning. At least, they do for most people. Sometimes, a dream recurs. But what does it mean when you have the same dream for your entire life? **Anima**: ¡°It happened again. I saw the man. The same dream keeps returning¡ªa man with wings as dark as death, wings of an angel. His hair was blue, though his figure remained obscured. I walked toward him, and I heard the same words.¡± _**TRAITOR, TRAITOR, TRAITOR.**_ Then I woke up. **Soulani**: ¡°Anima, come down for breakfast! It''s almost time for school!¡± My father had woken me up. I¡¯m in 11th grade, with school starting at 9 a.m. all the way through the day. Honestly, I don¡¯t have much interest in pursuing anything after high school. **Anima**: ¡°Yes, Dad, I¡¯m coming down! Just give me a moment.¡± I want to be what¡¯s called a dream walker¡ªsomeone who can walk through and interact with their dreams, who can understand their meanings. I want to understand this dream I¡¯ve been having for over a year now. Anima walks down from his room and is greeted by a fresh, lustrous breeze carrying the scent of the tropics¡ªthey live on the beach. Anima is served his favorite breakfast of milk and Cheerios. **Soulani**: ¡°So, did you have that dream again? Were you able to get closer this time?¡± **Anima**: ¡°Yes. At this point, it¡¯s become routine¡ªit won¡¯t ever stop. Every time I feel like I¡¯m getting closer to the man, the dream ends. I always hear the same words: Traitor, Traitor, Traitor. It¡¯s strange; in this dream, I never feel like I¡¯m walking. I feel like I¡¯m being pulled toward him. Then, those words are spoken, and it ends. I don¡¯t understand why I keep seeing this figure. What does it mean? I want to know. I want to speak to this man, hear his voice, see his eyes.¡± **Soulani**: ¡°Well, talk to Mr. Kiran about it today.¡± **Anima**: ¡°Okay, bye!¡± Anima dashes out the door, already late for school. He runs up the sandy hill toward the city. This place is called Central City¡ªthe city with everything. At the top of the hill, Anima¡¯s two friends, Vera and Eros, are waiting for him. **Vera and Eros**: ¡°HEY!¡± **Anima**: ¡°Sorry for being late. The dream was longer than usual and took me longer to wake up.¡±If you spot this story on Amazon, know that it has been stolen. Report the violation. These are my two best friends, Vera and Eros. **Vera**: ¡°You¡¯re still having those dreams? They seem to be getting longer each time. Make sure you talk to Mr. Kiran about it.¡± Vera, who¡¯s also 17, wears the same school uniform as me on school days: long black jeans and a navy blazer. She has long blonde hair, green eyes, and stands at 5¡¯8¡±. For part-time work, she volunteers at the children¡¯s hospital. If I had to describe her in one word, it would be ¡°GENTLE¡±¡ªthe kindest soul I¡¯ve ever met. **Eros**: ¡°Couldn¡¯t sleep last night, loser? Well, we¡¯ll have to stop at the pastry store before school.¡± **Anima**: ¡°Yeah, my bad.¡± Eros is also in the school uniform: black jeans, white Air Forces, long black hair pulled back with a hairband into a ponytail. He has dark, vibrant blue eyes. For part-time work, he¡¯s a therapist. One word I¡¯d use to describe him is ¡°FAKE.¡± Why? Because he pretends to be this sweet, charming prince, like some knight in shining armor. But I know the real him¡ªyou should see him when we¡¯re gaming together. Let¡¯s just say he¡¯s not so charming there. But he¡¯s a good guy and my best friend. **Eros**: _Devilishly smiles._ **Anima**: ¡°Bitch.¡± **Vera**: _Awkwardly laughs._ **Vera**: ¡°Anyway, let¡¯s head to the pastry shop; we¡¯re only five minutes away.¡± I forgot to mention that even though Vera and Eros are my closest friends, there are some things I can¡¯t talk about with them. Both of them are entry-level dream walkers, but only dream walkers can discuss the details of the trail and how dream-walking works. That¡¯s another reason why I want so badly to be a dream walker. The pastry shop is our daily stop before school. We always get donuts for Mr. Akrain and the class. **Anima**: ¡°Hey, old man Lago!¡± **Lago**: ¡°The usual, kids?¡± **Anima, Eros, Vera**: ¡°Yes!¡± **Lago**: ¡°Twelve glazed donuts, coming right up.¡± **Eros**: ¡°Doesn¡¯t that old man give you the creeps? He always seems strange to me.¡± **Anima**: ¡°I agree, but he makes good donuts, so who cares?¡± **Vera**: ¡°Hey, don¡¯t say that! Mr. Lago is a nice guy. I don¡¯t understand you guys sometimes.¡± **Eros**: ¡°Maybe it¡¯s just a guy thing¡?¡± Eros pays for the donuts and grabs them. **Eros**: ¡°At least they¡¯re cheap¡ªonly two dollars, especially in this economy.¡± Anima, Eros, and Vera leave the shop. **Lago**: ¡°Stay safe, and don¡¯t let the devil catch ya.¡± **Eros**: ¡°See? This is the weird stuff I¡¯m talking about.¡± Anima and Vera both laugh. The three arrive at the school campus, scan their cards, and head to class. **Anima**: ¡°Hey, Mr. Kiran!¡± **Mr. Kiran**: ¡°Well, looks like you guys are late. It¡¯s half past nine.¡± Mr. Kiran, a white man with short black hair, wears a fedora, black suit, white button-up shirt, and white gloves. He¡¯s about six feet tall with striking golden eyes. To me, he always looked like a magician. He¡¯s also a super helpful teacher and Vera and Eros¡¯s personal dream-walking instructor. There are about five dream-walking teachers at the school, and each can have up to four students. Mr. Kiran still has two spots left. **Vera**: _Awkwardly laughs._ ¡°Sorry about that!¡± **Eros**: ¡°Well, this loser here decided to keep sleeping.¡± **Mr. Kiran**, eating a donut: ¡°You¡¯re still having those dreams?¡± **Anima**: ¡°Yes, my dad told me to talk to you about it.¡± **Mr. Kiran**: ¡°Well, come see me at lunch.¡± First period was math, which Mr. Kiran taught. Second period was English, taught by Mrs. Sussie. Half past eleven arrived, and we visited Mr. Kiran. **Mr. Kiran**: ¡°So, I want more details about these dreams. I know you¡¯ve told me about them, but can you describe how you feel when you wake up? Anything that could help.¡± Vera and Eros looked worried. **Anima**: ¡°How do they feel? Like a never-ending loop. Every time I get closer to this figure, the dream ends. It¡¯s an empty white room; it feels like I¡¯m inside the very essence of my soul. I don¡¯t understand it. I want so badly to reach this figure, but I never can. Every time, I feel like I¡¯m being pulled toward it, but then it just stops.¡± **Mr. Kiran**: ¡°I see. And have these dreams only started a month ago? If so, what were you dreaming about before?¡± **Anima**: ¡°Actually¡¡± Mr. Kiran, Vera, and Eros looked extremely shocked. **Anima**: ¡°I¡¯ve been having this same dream my entire life.¡± **Chapter 1 End** Chapter 2 The Man You See **Mr. Arakin**: ¡°The same dream...? I don¡¯t understand. What do you mean?¡± **Anima**: ¡°Ever since I was born, it¡¯s been the only dream I¡¯ve seen.¡± **Anima**: ¡°As far back as I can remember, my dreams were never ordinary. They started as a white, empty room. There was nothing there, but it felt like I was inside my own soul. I could only sense something calling out to me.¡± **Mr. Arakin**: ¡°What about the man you keep seeing? If these are the same dreams you¡¯ve been having since childhood, did he always appear, or did he come later?¡± **Anima**: ¡°The man started appearing seven years later, when I was ten. But he seemed different at first. He looked the same, but his hair was brown, and he didn¡¯t have wings. These dreams would come and go, and I could never make out his figure clearly. I never told my dad because, after all, they were just dreams, and I couldn¡¯t understand them, especially when I could barely make out what I was seeing.¡± **Mr. Arakin**: ¡°Then what changed? When did this figure take on blue hair and black, angel-like wings?¡± **Anima**: ¡°A month ago. Before that, for seven years, the dreams were intermittent. I wouldn¡¯t move or speak, and I could barely remember what was happening in them.¡± Eros and Vera sat silently, paying close attention to the conversation. **Mr. Arakin**: ¡°So what changed between those dreams a month ago?¡± **Anima**: ¡°Well, starting from the beginning of the month until now, I can remember the dreams vividly, right up until they end.¡± That¡¯s right. Today¡¯s date is September 30, 2050. I was born on January 1, 2033, and we live in Florida, in Central City. These vivid dreams began on September 1 of this year. **Anima**: ¡°Every time I dream about this figure, it feels like I¡¯m being pulled closer to him. Sometimes, the dreams feel like they last hours; other times, they¡¯re just brief moments. It feels like this figure is trying to talk to me. It feels like he¡¯s the one pulling me toward him, like he wants to speak to me. But in the end, I hear the same three words: Traitor, Traitor, Traitor.¡± **Mr. Arakin**: ¡°Do you have any idea who this figure might be? Anything you can make out?¡± **Anima**: ¡°The only thing I can tell is that he seems angelic¡ godly, almost. Maybe the right word is powerful?¡± **Eros** (interjecting): ¡°Maybe a fallen angel?¡± Everyone in the room fell silent. This novel''s true home is a different platform. Support the author by finding it there. **Vera**, looking very worried: ¡°Don¡¯t say something like that. Angels can¡¯t fall. God exists, and angels can¡¯t be corrupted.¡± Oh yeah, that¡¯s right¡ªVera is a devoted believer. She always prays to God, and she¡¯s firm in her faith. She¡¯s right; it can¡¯t be a fallen angel. **Mr. Arakin**, with a look of interest: ¡°Sorry to burst your theory, but that¡¯s simply impossible. Even if a fallen angel existed, it could never communicate with Anima¡ªhe¡¯s only human.¡± **Eros**: ¡°Sorry, just trying to help this loser out. I mean, what else could it be? Some creature? And why would it be showing up in Anima¡¯s dream? What would a worthless loser like him have that¡¯s worth pursuing, anyway?¡± **Anima**: ¡°I hope whatever this thing is shows up to grab you in the night, you dumb idiot.¡± **Mr. Arakin**: ¡°Boys, settle down.¡± **Vera** (awkwardly laughing): ¡°Maybe it¡¯s some sort of deity?¡± **Eros and Anima**, both looking surprised: ¡°A deity?¡± **Mr. Arakin**: ¡°A deity, you say...?¡± **Vera**: ¡°Yes, a deity. After all, different gods exist in this world. Maybe it¡¯s some sort of divine intervention? Maybe a god is trying to warn Anima about something.¡± **Eros**: ¡°Like I said, what would a god want with this loser, anyway?¡± **Mr. Arakin**: ¡°Divine intervention, you say? That¡¯s an interesting theory. I¡¯ll give it some thought¡¡± _Could it be...? No, that¡¯s not possible._ **Mr. Arakin**: ¡°Perhaps it¡¯s fate itself.¡± Eros, Vera, and Anima all looked shocked. **Anima**: ¡°Fate itself? What do you mean?¡± **Mr. Arakin**: ¡°In this world, fate is very real. It exists. After all, fate caused the ¡®Five Rejections of the Universe.¡¯ Maybe it¡¯s trying to send you a sign.¡± Yes, fate itself could be trying to communicate with Anima. But why? **Mr. Arakin**: ¡°There was one entity stronger than God himself.¡± **Vera**, surprised: ¡°Stronger than God?¡± Eros and Anima looked intrigued. **Mr. Arakin**: ¡°Yes. A 12-dimensional construct that exists on an entirely different plane. It isn¡¯t even truly alive, but it existed before God himself.¡± **Vera**: ¡°Before God himself¡?¡± **Mr. Arakin**: ¡°Yes. It¡¯s called The Absolute. It has access to the entire history of the universe, all its knowledge. It has access to everyone¡¯s powers, dreams, memories, feelings, emotions. In short, it¡¯s everything and anything. Some say that God himself came from it. It exists at the center of the infinite universe, amid other infinite universes and timelines. It transcends all concepts¡ªin fact, it created them.¡± Anima, Eros, and Vera looked completely captivated. **Anima**: ¡°Something like that exists¡?¡± **Vera**: ¡°Something that¡¯s even more powerful than God?¡± **Eros**: ¡°What the¡?¡± **Mr. Arakin**: ¡°Yes. It also caused the ¡®Five Rejections of the Universe.¡¯ It can sense when the world is going ¡®off balance¡¯ and uses its power to reject and correct its course, which led to five massive historical events.¡± Anima, Vera, and Eros were all stunned. **Mr. Arakin**: ¡°Anyway¡¡± **Anima**: ¡°Hm?¡± **Mr. Arakin**: ¡°I think you¡¯re ready for your trial. But first, it¡¯s time for you to learn what being a dream walker truly entails and the dangers that come with it, to make sure you¡¯re committed to this path.¡± And so the lesson began. **Chapter 2 End** Chapter 3 Dream walker Mr. Arakin: Let''s begin today''s lesson, shall we? Mr. Arakin: I¡¯ll explain everything you need to know before the first trial. Mr. Arakin starts drawing a tree with seven layers on the board and a circle right at the bottom. Anima: What''s that thing at the bottom? Eros: A shape. Vera: More specifically, it''s the shape of your soul. Anima: The shape of my soul¡? Mr. Arakin: That¡¯s right. This is the shape of your soul, and the thing inside is the power that''s dormant within you. Anima: The power inside me¡ so to awaken this, I must pass the trial, right? Mr. Arakin: That¡¯s right. This is what we call the Non-Walker, or the "human stage." Simply put, once you pass the trial, you won''t be considered human anymore. Since you''re taking the mythological pathway, you''ll slowly become less human as you progress. Eros: That''s right. Vera and I may look human, but the system itself no longer considers us as such. Anima: I see. So you guys aren¡¯t considered human¡ªmore like beasts, right? So how do you progress, and how do you achieve other levels? Mr. Arakin: That''s what I''m getting to now. But before that, you have to choose what we call a Dreamer type¡ªwhat type of path you want. To be more clear, what mythological beast you want to become. Anima: What kind of beast...? Eros: That''s right. I''m a griffin. Vera: I¡¯m a dragon. Mr. Arakin: That¡¯s right. After you finish your first trial, one of seven mythological creature pathways will be chosen for you: Phoenix, Dragon, Griffin, Cerberus, Minotaur, Kraken, or Basilisk. At that point, you¡¯ll also get Level 7 vision. Anima: I see. So, one of seven¡ is there a power difference between them? And what is a vision? Mr. Arakin: Well, to start, no pathway is weak. It all depends on how effectively you play to the pathway¡¯s strengths. For example, a griffin is more of a raw power pathway, while a basilisk is more stealthy¡ªbut could still defeat a griffin if it¡¯s more effective. Anima: I see. Mr. Arakin: Let me explain vision. Vision is the power manifested from your soul. It embodies your deepest desires and resides in your dream world¡ªa place inside your soul. Your vision slowly levels up as you progress through the tree. Level 7: Beast - You gain your vision, though at an early stage without abilities. You¡¯ll be able to see other Dream Walkers, interact with your personal dream, gain superhuman strength and speed, and sense malice. You¡¯ll also gain one ability from your pathway once the trial ends, and your eyes will glow when your vision is active. This story has been taken without authorization. Report any sightings. Level 6: Monster - At the Monster level, you gain your vision''s power, which will build over levels. You¡¯ll gain a more monstrous appearance from your chosen pathway, travel at lightning speed, and have the strength to devastate continents. You¡¯ll naturally understand any ability you observe, but retaining your humanity becomes a struggle. Level 5: Guardian - Your vision powers evolve into a full weapon, and you begin to take on features of your mythological form. You¡¯ll be able to freely enter and exit your dream world, move faster than light, and shatter entire galaxies if you choose. You can also interact with and enter others'' dreams and find artifacts. Struggling with humanity will continue. Level 4 will be your start to mythology. Remember, each of these levels requires entering a dream for each stage. Once you collect ten dream fragments, you¡¯re eligible to start these trials. Anima: What about the other levels? You said there were seven, right? Vera: Mr. Arakin said we aren¡¯t strong enough to understand the ¡°knowledge.¡± Eros: It¡¯s forbidden knowledge. Anima: Forbidden knowledge? Mr. Arakin: That¡¯s right¡ªyour minds aren¡¯t powerful enough to comprehend it. Anima: Could you elaborate? Mr. Arakin: Of course. Think of it this way: there are certain gods whose full names you can never know, or the knowledge would destroy your mind. Until you reach mythology, you cannot even perceive this information. Anima: I see. So, Mr. Arakin, if I may ask, what level are you? Mr. Arakin: All Dream Walker teachers, including me, are Level 1. I¡¯m Level 1 of the Phoenix pathway. Vera, Eros, and Anima all look surprised. Anima: Wow, so you''re really, really strong, huh? Mr. Arakin: You could say that. But trust me, there are far scarier beings outside the cosmos. You¡¯re in good hands, though. Mr. Arakin laughs. Mr. Arakin: Shall we begin the trial? Suddenly, a portal opens beside the classroom wall. Mr. Arakin: The terms of the trial are simple. You¡¯ll enter this dream world¡ªa reflection of your soul¡ªand face trials with your deepest thoughts. Each trial grows harder, straining your mind, with a slight chance of it shattering, though that¡¯s never happened in the thousand years of this process. If you need help, I¡¯ll pull you out. If you can¡¯t speak, I¡¯ll monitor your heart rate and pull you out if necessary. Eros: Hey, scaredy-cat, you ready? Anima: Yeah, you jerk, I¡¯ve been waiting for this my whole life. Mr. Arakin: Do you agree to all the trial¡¯s terms? Anima: Yes, I¡¯m ready. Eros: Don¡¯t be the first to shatter your mind! Even Vera got through just fine. Vera: Hey! Mr. Arakin: Take this magical mirror. Use it to call me if you want to leave the trial. It¡¯s a safety measure. Anima: Thank you. Mr. Arakin: Remember, this is a projection of your soul, so any faces your soul doesn¡¯t recognize will be blacked out. Anima: Got it. Mr. Arakin: The second you enter that portal, your first trial will begin. Stay safe, my dear student. Eros: Anima, stay safe¡ªI need you to carry me in Valorant! No, but seriously, stay safe. As Anima is about to enter the portal, Vera rushes over and holds both of Anima¡¯s hands. Vera: May the one who shines light and grants miracles be with you. Vera kisses Anima on the cheek, giving a sense of calm and almost magical warmth. Vera: Stay safe and come back to us, please. Anima: I will, I promise. Not knowing what dangers lay beyond the portal, Anima steps through to begin his first trial. Looking around, he recognizes his old house. He enters, unsure of its meaning. He searches the kitchen¡ªnothing. Living room¡ªnothing. Finally, he heads upstairs to his old room¡ªnothing. Lastly, he enters his dad''s room. He sees a younger version of his father and, beside him, a baby¡ªhis younger self playing with a toy. Then he looks to his right and sees a woman with pink hair, her face blacked out. He doesn¡¯t know this woman, but he can tell who it is. Anima: Mother¡?! The first trial had begun. Chapter 3 End Chapter 4 memories Dreams can bring back memories that we don''t want to see, thoughts and feelings that we don''t want to feel. Suppressed memories hidden in our minds. Suppressed thoughts that we don''t want to have. When we''re young, our mind sometimes suppresses memories that associate with intense emotion and traumatic feelings. When we get older, especially into adulthood, sometimes images, certain situations, or emotions can re-trigger these memories, and they can come back to haunt us again. Sometimes it''s important to remember to confront these unwanted memories to better understand our thoughts and feelings. We have to confront these uncomfortable thoughts, even if we don''t understand why they make us uncomfortable. Anima saw a woman. For some reason, he couldn''t remember who it was; he never saw this woman, didn''t know why she was there, but his soul was saying something else. His soul was telling him this was a woman that he believed was dead. After all, that''s what his father told him when he was younger¡ªthat she died in a "car accident." So why is he seeing her? Anima didn''t understand; after all, as far as he could remember, he never met this woman. He never saw her in life, so why was this his first trial? Anima: What..? Anima didn''t understand why he knew this woman. It felt like it was yelling out loud, screaming almost. He could feel his heart racing, beating extremely fast¡ªalmost felt like he was going to faint. He didn''t get it. His heart hurt; his soul hurt; his body felt pain. He couldn''t move; he didn''t want to see this; he wanted to leave. He didn''t know why, but that''s what his soul was saying **"MOVE, GET OUT, MOVE, GET OUT, MOVE, GET OUT, MOVE, GET OUT, MOVE, GET.OUTMOVE GET OUT, MOVE GET OUT, MOVE, GET OUT, MOVE, GET.OUTMOVE GET OUT, MOVE GET OUT, MOVE, GET OUT, MOVE GET.OUTMOVE GET OUT, MOVE GET OUT, MOVE, GET OUT, MOVE, GET.OUTMOVE GET OUT, MOVE GET OUT, MOVE, GET OUT, MOVE, GET.OUTMOVE GET OUT, MOVE GET OUT, MOVE, GET OUT, MOVE, GET.OUTMOVE GET OUT, MOVE GET OUT, MOVE, GET OUT, MOVE GET.OUTMOVE GET OUT, MOVE GET OUT, MOVE, GET OUT, MOVE, GET.OUTMOVE GET OUT, MOVE GET OUT, MOVE, GET OUT, MOVE GET.OUTMOVE GET OUT, MOVE GET OUT, MOVE, GET OUT, MOVE, GET.OUTMOVE GET OUT, MOVE GET OUT, MOVE, GET OUT, MOVE, GET.OUTMOVE GET OUT, MOVE GET OUT, MOVE, GET OUT, MOVE, GET.OUTMOVE GET OUT, MOVE GET OUT, MOVE, GET OUT, MOVE, GET.OUTMOVE GET OUT, MOVE GET OUT, MOVE, GET OUT, MOVE, GET.OUTMOVE GET OUT, MOVE GET OUT, MOVE, GET OUT, MOVE, GET.OUTMOVE GET OUT, MOVE GET OUT, MOVE, GET OUT, MOVE, GET.OUTMOVE GET OUT, MOVE GET OUT, MOVE, GET OUT, MOVE, GET.OUTMOVE GET OUT, MOVE GET OUT, MOVE, GET OUT, MOVE, GET.OUTMOVE GET OUT, MOVE GET OUT, MOVE, GET OUT, MOVE, GET.OUTMOVE GET OUT, MOVE GET OUT, MOVE, GET OUT, MOVE, GET.OUTMOVE GET OUT, MOVE GET OUT, MOVE, GET OUT, MOVE, GET.OUTMOVE GET OUT, MOVE GET OUT, MOVE, GET OUT, MOVE, GET.OUTMOVE GET OUT, MOVE GET OUT, MOVE, GET OUT, MOVE GET.OUTMOVE GET OUT, MOVE GET OUT, MOVE, GET OUT, MOVE GET.OUTMOVE GET OUT, MOVE GET OUT, MOVE, GET OUT, MOVE GET.OUTMOVE GET OUT, MOVE GET OUT, MOVE, GET OUT, MOVE GET.OUTMOVE GET OUT, MOVE GET OUT, MOVE, GET OUT, MOVE, GET.OUT*MOVE GET OUT, MOVE GET OUT, MOVE, GET OUT, MOVE, GET.OUT"** Anima quickly left the room; he closed the door. Anima: What the hell was that? Why did I just act like that? Meanwhile, back in the physical world: Vera: Is Anima doing fine? Mr. Arakin: His heart is beating extremely fast. This is weird; the first trial should simply be about understanding what pathway you want to be on. Something''s strange; nothing in that trial should be making his heart race like that. Vera and Eros wore very panicked faces. Eros: There''s no way, Anima; it''s just the first trial. Don''t lose here. Vera: Can''t you speak to him? Can you ask him what''s going on? You''re starting to make me worry. Mr. Arakin: I''m trying, but he isn''t responding. If this keeps going on, I''ll be forced to pull him out. Let''s see how it plays out; his heart rate did start to calm down, so maybe it''s just shock...? Eros: _Pffft,_ so that loser was scared. _Eros laughs._ Vera, with a frustrated expression: Vera: As long as he''s fine. Back to the first trial, Anima prepped himself to enter the door again. Anima: What the fuck was that? Why did I just act like that? Well, I''m better now; let''s try this again. Anima reached for the door handle. As he reached for it and grabbed it, his soul started shouting again, "**MOVE, GET OUT, MOVE, GET OUT, MOVE, GET OUT, MOVE, GET.OUTMOVE GET OUT, MOVE GET OUT, MOVE, GET OUT, MOVE, GET.OUTMOVE GET OUT, MOVE GET OUT, MOVE, GET OUT, MOVE GET.OUTMOVE GET OUT, MOVE GET OUT, MOVE, GET OUT, MOVE, GET.OUTMOVE GET OUT, MOVE GET OUT, MOVE, GET OUT, MOVE, GET.OUTMOVE GET OUT, MOVE GET OUT, MOVE, GET OUT, MOVE, GET.OUTMOVE GET OUT, MOVE GET OUT, MOVE, GET OUT, MOVE GET.OUTMOVE GET OUT, MOVE GET OUT, MOVE, GET OUT, MOVE GET.OUTMOVE GET OUT, MOVE GET OUT, MOVE, GET OUT, MOVE GET.OUTMOVE GET OUT, MOVE GET OUT, MOVE, GET OUT, MOVE GET.OUT"**Unauthorized content usage: if you discover this narrative on Amazon, report the violation. Inside, he saw his mom, dad, and his baby self¡ªthey were playing with a toy together. His mom and dad were there, and then they left the room. Anima started shouting. Anima: WHY ARE YOU SHOWING THIS TO ME? Anima didn¡¯t understand why he was being shown this, but he went and followed them downstairs. He could see his dad holding his baby self and his mother leaving them. He saw his mom leaving them. A man was beside her. His dad was shouting, his baby self was crying, and his mother was leaving him and his father, to never return to them again. He finally started to remember what his brain had blocked out. He couldn¡¯t make out what they were saying, but he remembered hearing, "Forgive me, darling." Why would his mother leave them? He didn¡¯t get it; he didn¡¯t understand. **WHY? WHY? WHY? WHY? WHY? WHY? WHY? WHY? WHY? WHY? WHY? WHY? WHY? WHY? WHY? WHY? WHY?** All he could remember was that he hated her¡ªhated her for leaving his dad, hated her for leaving him, hated her for not being around for the rest of his life. Hated how she looked. Hated how she smiled. Hated everything about her. He wanted to hurt her¡ªhurt her so, so badly, no matter what. Anima had a furious look on his face. He could see a knife on the counter, and he grabbed it. Anima started running after her with the knife in his hand. Anima: WAIT! JUST FUCKING WAIT! Anima began chasing her with the knife in his hand, sprinting past his dad and his baby self. Before his mother knew it, as she turned around, Anima had stabbed her through the heart¡ªbut there was no blood. His mother wore a very shocked expression on her face. Anima: WHY. WHY DID YOU LEAVE US? She looked into Anima''s deep, dark purple eyes¡ªeyes just like hers¡ªand saw all the rage and anger in them. She grabbed his head, looked into his eyes, and then she spoke. ???: I''m sorry. Please, come find me. The woman proceeded to kiss Anima on his forehead. ???: Anima, my son, I truly love you. You are my miracle. Anima had a shocked expression on his face. But all of a sudden, space started distorting. A huge amount of water rushed in, washing everything away. Suddenly, he was in an ocean, with thunder everywhere and extreme waves crashing around him. He was standing on an island, and all of a sudden, he saw a 100-foot-tall pink dragon towering over him. Anima put both his hands up to block whatever was coming. The dragon screamed. Dragon: ROARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR! Anima could feel the shockwave from the dragon¡¯s roar. The first trial had officially begun. **Chapter 4 End.** Chapter 5 Trial 1 A mans own rage **ROARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR** **ROARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR** **ROARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR** **ROARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR** **ROARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR** **ROARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR** **ROARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR** **ROARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR** **ROARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR** **ROARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR** **ROARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR** **ROARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR** **ROARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR** **ROARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR** **ROARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR** **ROARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR** **ROARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR** Anima is blown back by the blast of the dragon and is blasted back to a tree. He can feel the high tides and crazy wind as he stands on the island. Anima: Oww, what the hell is happening? How am I meant to defeat this huge fucking dragon? Suddenly, something pops up in front of Anima, a sign like in a video game. It''s a warning. Anima: Read it out loud. Anima: The first trial has begun. Please tame the dragon. Anima: And how am I meant to do that exactly?! The dragon swings its tail at Anima. WOOOOOOOOSH Anima jumps and dodges it, but the tailwind blows away all the trees in the forest. Dragon: ROARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR The massive 100-foot pink dragon opens its mouth and starts charging something. Anima can see tiny black balls collecting to form something. Anima: What am I meant to do here? How am I meant to defeat something this huge and powerful? This makes no sense! In what fucking world do I tame this massive ass dragon?!?!? Before Anima can react, the beam forms and blasts straight at him. It completely destroys the entire island. Anima swims up from the sea to see the dragon, soaking wet. Anima: Huff, huff. Anima is heavily breathing. Anima: What the hell was that? He survived by pure miracle. This dragon is no normal fire-breathing dragon, even Anima can tell that. But something seems off. As Anima stares at the dragon, it launches another one of those black beams. Anima has no clue if he can luck out again to survive one of those death beams, but something seems off about them. Anima: Why the hell is the dragon so angry? How am I meant to tame such a beast? Anima realizes something. Anima: Those beams aren''t destroying anything. They''re erasing the space, deleting space around the area. So, wherever the beam gets fired, the space there gets deleted. So why wasn''t I deleted? Also, every time it roars, it''s distorting the space of this entire dream world, so it''s constantly shrinking. But I wasn''t deleted while I was in the area the beam happened. Anima: If I''m not being destroyed by this beam, does that mean... Anima: Wait, can I die here? Isn''t this place a projection of my soul? Yes, this is my dream. Can I die in my dream? And if I die here, do I fail the trial? Or can I even die here? Anima has to think. How does he lose this dragon? How does he win this trial? Anima has a thought, but he has to test it. He lifts his hands up. Anima: Come at me, I''m here, bitch! Dragon: ROARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR ROARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR **ROARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR** **ROARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR** **ROARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR** **ROARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR** **ROARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR** **ROARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR** **ROARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR** **ROARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR** **ROARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR** **ROARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR** **ROARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR** **ROARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR** **ROARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR** **ROARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR** **ROARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR** **ROARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR** **ROARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR** **ROARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR** The dragon shoots the beam straight at Anima, deleting a part of the ocean but not Anima himself. WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOSH Anima understands the meaning: "Tame the dragon." He thinks about why these unsealed memories came back, why he acted the way he did, and he finally understands the meaning of the first trial. The pathway you get is based on your soul. A dragon had manifested in this world with a huge ocean, a small island, and Anima himself. The dragon represents the rage that Anima had when he saw his mother again. This area represented him, the inside of his soul. The dragon deleted part of the ocean and island, symbolizing Anima''s rage engulfing him and consuming his soul. The rage he had engulfed him when he saw Mom, it''s engulfing his soul. Anima had finally understood the meaning of the first trial. When the task "tame the dragon" had shown, Anima didn''t understand. He didn''t get it. Now he understands. He understands to "tame the dragon." He had to tame himself. He had to tame his rage. For now, a dreamwalker to walk, they need to have a clear mind. He will need to deal with this rage later, but for now, he needs to tame it before it engulfs his soul. The dragon was deleting the area, so he had to tame the dragon before it deleted the entire area, letting his "rage" engulf his soul. This story originates from a different website. Ensure the author gets the support they deserve by reading it there. Anima: I understand it now. The dragon had prepared another beam and blasted it at Anima. Anima survived, the dragon had lived. The dragon had become even more furious that Anima was still alive and continued to be consumed with more rage as Anima had survived. The dragon had prepared another beam. He was engulfed with rage. Dragon: **ROARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR** **ROARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR** **ROARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR** **ROARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR** **ROARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR** **ROARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR** **ROARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR** **ROARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR** It had been blasted and deleted more space, but Anima had survived. The dragon had prepared another beam this time and put even more energy into it, expanding it to a massive black ball, planning to delete everything to use his rage to consume everything. Anima: I''m so close, wait for me. The dragon had expanded its ball to the size of the world. He was planning to destroy the entire area, the entire world, to engulf it with its fury, its rage. All that was left was a small bit of water, Anima, and the dragon. The world had been reduced to the size of a winter globe. Anima: I made it on time. Anima''s palm was on the dragon''s chest. Anima: It''s fine. I understand your rage being engulfed in it, but let''s spare that rage for when the time is right. Let''s spare that rage for when we have to dance to music, to Mother. She will understand and feel it. How we felt, she will feel the rage we have in our souls. For now, let''s contain it and keep walking. The dragon put its head down to Anima, and Anima petted it. Anima: We move forward now. A message popped up in front of Anima, saying, "Congrats on completing the 2nd trial." Anima: Let''s fucking go!!!!!!!!!!! Back in the real world, Mr. Arakin, Eros, and Vera were eagerly waiting for Anima. Eros and Vera both had worried faces. Mr. Arakin: Looks like Anima has finished the 1st trial. Now 4 more to go. Eros and Vera both sighed in relief. Vera: Thank God. Eros: Don''t let me down, loser. On top of the dragon''s head, a portal opened to go to the second trial. Anima: Dad, I''m onto the second trial. Anima entered through the second portal, instantly falling through the sky. Anima: AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH WHAT THE HELLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Anima fell through the sky and through some trees, landing in a bush. Anima: Ouch. Anima scratched his head in confusion about what just happened. Anima stood up and left the bush. As he walked, he felt something tugging on his shirt. Anima turned around. Anima: Huh? Anima saw a little girl tugging at his shirt. ???: Could you help me, Mr.? The second trial had begun. Chapter 6: Mr. miracle Miracles They are Miracles are extraordinary events or phenomena¡ªthings that shouldn''t happen¡ªsurviving moments in life where you should be dead¡ªthat''s what people call a miracle. People see them as acts of true divine intervention. People see them as acts of the gods blessing them, saving them, and giving them a chance. A chance that wouldn''t be possible without God. A truly kind act from him. Some people don''t believe in miracles; they say they simply lucked out. But as everyone knows For every good thing that happens, a bad thing must happen to balance the world out¡ªthe light and the dark. For every miracle there must be a curse. But God was not giving these miracles out; it was someone else, a man, who claimed he was a god. The story of the man who gave out miracles. As the world knows, there were 5 rejections from the thing called the Absolute. He rejects" what''s going on at the current time to lead the universe in the right direction. After The events of the third rejection were the 3-way war of demons, angels, and humans. The angels had been wiped out. The demons had been forced to flee into an unknown realm and seal themselves off completely to avoid getting wiped out by the humans, and humans walked out victorious in the war. However, not with massive damages. 97% of all humans died during war. Families suffered bloodlines had been wiped out. Even though they had won, they had nothing to show for it, just a bleep of victory. A boy named Roman had lost his entire family during the war. He was about 9; he had lost everything due to the great war; he had suffered a great deal. He had joined a foster home. But no family can replace the one he had, and he knew that nothing he could do could change that, after all, dead can''t come back to life. So one night he walked out of his village into the forest. The night was bright; he could see many stars there. Roman had walked out of the forest and had seen an amazing big ocean, and as he walked towards it, he could see the light of stars radiating and bouncing off the water. He dipped his toes inside the water. Roman: I wish mom and dad could be here to see this night. It''s so beautiful. I can see all the stars in the sky. I feel like I could count them all! Roman: I wish we could all sleep in bed together, all dreaming again like we all did before. If I could ever dream again, I would dream about being with you, mom and dad, together hunting and playing in the ocean. Starting fires and riding horses across the bright summertime. As Roman was looking at the bright starry night sky, he said something bright. He had seen a shooting star. He heard when you see a shooting star, you make a wish. Roman: I wish my mom and my dad could all dream together again in our house every night again. His mom had taught him a prayer for God that would give him and his parents good luck and good wishes. Roman put both his hands together and started praying. Roman: May the man who shines light and purity and grants miracles be with you. Roman walked up and saw a man with black hair and dark, deep purple eyes, almost as if it were glowing and radiating with the starry night sky. This man felt powerful but not hostile. He walked to the boy and said, The narrative has been stolen; if detected on Amazon, report the infringement. ???: May your deepest wishes come true. Roman: Who are you? ???: If I told you wouldn''t believe me Roman: I will, I pinky promise. ???: Im the god of miracles Roman: god of miracles?? but thought there was only one god. ???: Yes, of course, there''s only one true god in this world, the one above all, but god, no matter how strong he was, couldn''t do everything himself, so he made 12 real gods and made many more lesser gods, and I''m one of them. Roman: Oh wow, I never knew that. Im sorry. Roman bows down to the god of miracles ???: Please, please, it''s okay, and just call me Mr. Asmodeus. Roman: Okay, Mr. Asmodeus, Well, why are you here? Mr asmodeus: To grant your wishes, of course you want your mom and dad back, right? Roman: Yes, can you really do that? Mr asmodeus: Of course Could you please show me where you buried your mom and dad? Roman: Yes, follow me this way. Roman walked through the forest back to his village with the man right behind him. Roman: Here''s my village. All the villagers were staring at the black-haired man with his deep purple eyes. Villagers: Who is this man right behind you, Roman? The villagers were on edge because of the war and didn''t let anyone in the village. Roman: This man said he was the god of miracles and he could bring me back my mom and dad! Villagers; Roman We understand how much you miss your family, but everyone here is dealing with a great loss. We can''t let strangers into our village. We understand how much you miss them, but there is no god of miracles. If there was, he would have answered our prayers a long time ago. You do understand that, Roman. This man cannot bring them back to life. Roman: Please give him a chance! What if he can bring them back, please? Roman had tears down his eyes. A chance A glimmer of hope, a mirage that they could be back Roman: There''s a chance that he could save all your family members as well. Roman: Could you, Mr.? Mr asmodeus: Of course I can Villagers: Fine, let''s see you work your "mircale" god. Roman brings out the casket of this mom and dad and opens them, exposing their dead bodies. Mr. Asmodeus Waves had, in one sweep, with it glowing yellow, a yellow strike happen over their dead bodies. And they were awake. Roman parents: hello? Roman quickly ran towards his parents bodies and hugged them. Roman: Thank you, Mr.! Mr. Asmodeus: There''s no problem; all I want to do is help people. If you could save one person that you loved but you had to sacrifice the entire universe or sacrifice the entire universe, what would you choose? Mr. Asmodeus then jumped on top of a tree. All the villagers watched him in disbelief. Mr. Asmodeus: Imp the god of miracles, the man who challenged the cursed traitor, the man who wishes for the light to shine on everyone for purity for ever being in this entire universe. Mr. Asmodeus: Vision on His eyes were glowing. Yes, this was the power of a god¡ªa man who could dreamwalk. Mr. Asmodeus: The Miracle Mr. Asmodeus always wished to save people to protect the ones dearest to him and help people to correct his mistakes and errors. A bow would form in his arms; it would be made of yellow-looking energy with the power of a bunch of miracles. The string of the bow would be blue, and he would pull back and form a powerful blue arrow. Mr. Asmodeus: For everyone, my followers, my blessed one, this is for you. Mr. Asmodeus would shoot his arrow in the sky; millions of bright blue arrows would appear in the sky. He would use one of his abilities. Mr. Asmodeus: mu?jiza lil-jam¨© Mr. Asmodeus: A miracle for everyone! Mr. Asmodeus smiled Mr. Asmodeus: I would save everyone. Chapter 6 ends. Chapter 7 Trial 2 Not A Hero Back to the present day Anima looked behind him and saw a little girl tugging on his shirt. Anima: How could I help you? What in the world? A little girl? Why is she here, and what is she doing here, anyways? What type of trial is this? Girl: Well, could you help me with something in my village, Mr.? Anima: Um, sure, but where are your parents? Girl: Both of them are sick, so I went out on my own. Anima: Oh, okay. So, what is it that you need help with? Girl: Well, both my parents are sick, so could you cure them? Anima: Uh, I could try. Anima had a very confused expression on his face as he had no idea what the hell was going on. All he knew was that this was the second trial, so he just followed along. Anima: What¡¯s your name? Girl: My name is Sera. Anima: Well, Sera, my name is Anima. It¡¯s nice to meet you. Anima shook the little girl¡¯s hand. Anima: Could you show me your way to the village so I could help? Sera: Mhm, yeah, I could. Anima started to follow the little girl to the village. As they were walking, they chatted a little bit. Anima: So, how old are you? Sera: Oh, me, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6. Sera: I¡¯m 6 years old! Anima: Well, a 6-year-old? Wow, you¡¯re so brave for your age. Why the fuck am I talking to a six-year-old right now? What the hell is in this trial? Aren¡¯t trials meant to be the deepest parts of your soul manifested? Is this telling me that I want to talk to a 6-year-old? Oh, fuck no! And why is someone sick?! Oh, heavenly god, please strike me down where I stand. Anima: Well, then, can you tell me what¡¯s wrong with your parents? Sera: Well, only a couple of days ago, they went out to the forest to go hunting, then they came out, we ate, then they got extremely sick. The little girl had a very sad expression on her face. Anima: Extremely ill? Maybe something to do with what they ate, but why isn¡¯t the little girl sick? Anima: Sera, I have a question. Did you eat the same food as them? Sera: Hmh, yup! Anima: Then why didn¡¯t you get sick? Do you know why? Sera: Hmh, no, I don¡¯t, Mr. Anima had a very confused look on his face. Anima, in his mind: Maybe she just got lucky by some sort of miracle that she didn¡¯t get sick. If this trial was a manifestation of my soul, it didn¡¯t make sense. I never cared for other people. I never donate any money. I never help other people. If I could help, the only people I care for are the people closest to me. I never cared about strangers. Could it be deep in my soul? Anima had a very confused and angry look on his face, anyhow. Sera: Is there anything wrong, Mr.? Anima: Oh, no, just thinking about things, that¡¯s all. Anima quickly changed his face into a happy face and a smile. Anima: Is this your village? Sera: Yup. Anima and Sera entered the village. It was relatively small. Anima could see horses. He could even see a beautiful, huge ocean next to the village. He also saw a statue of a man. Anima: Hey, is it me, or does that guy kind of look like me? Nah, I¡¯m probably just tweaking like usual. Sera: Oh, that statue? Well, that statue has been here for many, many, many years, Mr. Unless you¡¯re an extremely old person, it can¡¯t be you! Anima laughs. Anima: I know, but who is that person, anyways? He must be pretty important for you to have a statue of him. Sera: Oh, that person, he saved our village many, many, many years ago. It was after the great war. Not only that, he saved billions of lives after. Apparently, one of my great, great, great, great, great, great, great, great, great grandpas met him and saved my great, great, great, great, great, great, great, great, great grandpa and grandma! If you encounter this tale on Amazon, note that it''s taken without the author''s consent. Report it. Anima: Oh, I see. What was his name? Sera: Oh, the name of the great hero, his name was Mr. Miracle! Anima: Oh, me, Miracle, huh? Sera: Anyway, look, it¡¯s my house. Anima: Are your parents in there? Sera: Yes. Anima walked into the little girl¡¯s house and saw both her sick parents. Sera: Here they are. Anima could see both of them were sick. They looked like they were on their deathbed. Anima: Could they speak? Sera: They can¡¯t. Sera started crying. Sera: My mom, my dad, please save them, Mr. PLEASE. Anima didn¡¯t know what to do. How could he save them? They looked practically dead. He couldn¡¯t even use magic since he wasn¡¯t a Dream Walker. Anima: Let me see what I could do. All of a sudden, a message popped up: Congratulations, you are qualified to be a Dream Walker. Would you like to continue? Anima: What?!?! The fuck, but? Sera: Is there something wrong, Mr.? Anima pressed the ¡°yes, continue¡± button. A message popped up saying, ¡°Welcome to your Dream Bar.¡± Anima¡¯s eyes were wide open in complete shock. He was staring at it in complete disbelief. It was a video game menu screen. It was blue. He could see his pathway, an outline of him, and under his character: Anima: Pathway: Dragon, Vision Ability: The Miracle Anima was in complete shock and disbelief. Anima: The Miracle? He could see an active skill tree alongside his Vision. Anima could see his mana pool. It was a bar around his character outline. He could see he had something called a Demonic Factor. He also saw that he was a level 7 Beast. Anima had no clue what this all meant. Anima: To use your vision, say ¡°vision on.¡± Your eyes will glow. Anima thought back to the statue, the man named Mr. Miracle. Is this why his soul showed this area, but why he didn¡¯t understand? But now he may get it. Mr. Miracle, huh? Was his soul showing the person he would become? He didn¡¯t understand. But what he did know, even if he didn¡¯t care about these people, he saw a little girl crying and two people on the verge of death. Sera was still crying. Sera: Please do anything to save them. Anima walked towards them. His deep, dark purple eyes glowed. Anima: Vision on. The Miracle. Anima¡¯s right hand was glowing, and with it, he simply touched both their heads. Anima: Vision off. Both of the parents woke up. Parents: What¡¯s going on? Sera wiped the tears. Sera: Mom, Dad, you¡¯re awake!!!!!! Sera leaped to both her parents and hugged them. Parents: Our precious baby girl. Sera hopped out of bed. Sera: Mom, Dad, look, this is the man that saved you! Sera ran towards Anima and hugged him. Sera: Thank you, Mr.! Anima: Haha, no problem. Anima hugged the girl back. Parents: Thank you so much. That was a miracle. What¡¯s your name? Anima: My name is Anima. Parents: Well, good to meet you, Anima. Both of them shook Anima¡¯s hand. After that, Anima had a message pop out: Congrats on completing your second Trial! Anima had no clue what was going to happen next. He was already a Dream Walker. Will I still have to complete the other three Trials that were left? A portal had opened up for him to move forward. Parents: You¡¯re a Dream Walker? Wow, that¡¯s impressive. Would you like to stay over for some food? Anima: No, sorry, but thanks for the offer. Why are they responding like they¡¯re real? They reacted to the portal? Something seems off. Shouldn¡¯t this be a manifestation of my soul? Parents: Well, then, goodbye. Good luck on any journeys. Come visit us again! Our village is called The Village of Light. You can just search it up on Google. You can find it! What the fuck are these real? No, it couldn¡¯t be? Anima had a very shocked and confused look on his face. As Anima was about to enter the portal, a little girl shouted: Little girl: Mr., Mr., Mr.! Anima: Oh, yeah, what¡¯s up, Sera? Sera: Here, take this. Anima: Mhm? It was a purple bracelet. Anima took the bracelet and wore it. Sera: It¡¯s a friendship bracelet. The same one as me. Better not lose it. Sera: Pinky promise! Anima: Pinky promise. Sera waved her hand. Sera: One last question. Anima: Yeah, what is it? Sera: If you could save the entire universe but have to sacrifice the person you love, or would you sacrifice the entire universe to save the person you loved, which one would you do? Anima was shocked by such a deep question from a 6-year-old, but Anima didn¡¯t have to think about it. The answer was obvious, after all, at least to him. Anima: ¡.. Anima: I would save the person I loved. Sera: Goodbye, Mr.! Anima: Goodbye, Sera! Anima walked through the portal. The second Trial ended. Anima walked through the portal into a white room, and a message popped out. Anima read it: Anima: ¡°Congrats on being a Dream Walker. It appears you qualified for being a Dream Walker before you completed the rest of your trials, which is extremely rare. But would you like to do the rest of the trials?¡± Anima: Rest? HAHAHAHA, fuck no! Who the fuck would want to do more work? I ain¡¯t doing all that. Anima: I¡¯m lazy as hell, but looks like I¡¯m a Dream Walker now. LET¡¯S FUCKING GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can rub it in that bitch¡¯s face that not only did I become one, I did it faster than that bitch Eros! Anima: Oh well, now it¡¯s time to go back to everyone. Anima started to walk towards the portal, but all of a sudden, black energy flooded the room and knocked down Anima. Anima: What the hell is happening now? Anima lifted his head up, and his eyes widened. He saw a figure. His heart started racing fast again, like it never raced before. He was sweating. He was frightened at looking at this figure. But he knew what it was. He could finally see his face, his body, everything clearly. Yes, this short blue hair going downwards, reaching the start of his arms. He was sitting down on a black chair. He was wearing a white collared shirt, and over that, he had a jacket made of black feathers. His skin was pale. He had black shoes and black pants on. His right arm was a metal-like claw, shaped into a fist format, sitting lightly on his right cheek. His right arm, normal, was sitting on his legs, and he had vibrant light blue eyes that had a dark and murderous look on them. He had a dark blue crown on top of his head, glowing. Most importantly, he had five black angel wings on his left side and five black wings on his right side behind his back. His blue eyes were staring deep into Anima¡¯s deep purple eyes. Anima: Your tha- tha- that man in my dreams - that fi-fi-f-f-figure. ???: Hello, Pretender. Anima: WHO ARE YOU?!? ???: A fallen angel. ???: The angel of abyss¡¯s. ???: Cassius, The Great Betrayer. Chapter 8 The Great Betrayer We all fear things. Whatever it be, death, losing a loved one, or just feeling pain. Everyone has their fears. Fears that we can diminish. Some people have fears of heights or going in front of a stage and talking. But what does true fear feel like? Is it the heart pumping uncontrollably? Or is it the feeling of butterflies inside your stomach feeling as if you''re about to vomit? At this moment, Anima felt true fear. He feared the man in front of him. He felt like his heart was racing as if it were trying to outrun death. Sweat went through his body uncontrollably as he was staring at the sun. His muscles became tense, unable to move, unable to relax. He struggled to breathe, pouring his soul to catch his every breath. He felt shivers through every inch of his body. Inside his soul, he felt like he was about to vomit just by looking at this man. Staring right into his vibrant, but murderous blue eyes. Anima felt true fear for whatever figure was standing directly across from him. ???: Cassius, The Great Betrayer is my name. Anima: Cassius the great betrayer...?! ???: Why do you look so surprised, Pretender? Anima: Wha-wha-a-what are you? Anima had the face of a man fearing for his life. He was frozen in place. Anima: Who are-yo-you? ???: Like I already said, Pretender, I''m... I''m the fallen angel. The angel of abyss. Cassius The Great Betrayer. Anima: Cassius the great betrayer?? Anima''s mind could not comprehend the words being told and said. He didn''t understand this man. He let out so much aura, he was a man that Anima could not comprehend. How could he? He didn''t understand. He simply didn''t get it. His brain couldn''t comprehend what was being told. He needed to understand. He needed to relax. Anima: Cassius the great betrayer: Cassius the great betrayer: Cassius the great betrayer: Cassius the great betrayer: Cassius the great betrayer: Cassius the great betrayer: Cassius the great betrayer: Cassius the great betrayer: Cassius the great betrayer: Cassius the great betrayer: Cassius the great betrayer: Cassius the great betrayer: Cassius the great betrayer: Cassius the great betrayer: Cassius the great betrayer: Cassius the great betrayer: Cassius the great betrayer: Cassius the great betrayer: Cassius the great betrayer: Cassius the great betrayer: Cassius the great betrayer: Cassius the great betrayer: Cassius the great betrayer: Cassius the great betrayer: Cassius the great betrayer: Cassius the great betrayer: Cassius the great betrayer: Cassius the great betrayer: Cassius the great betrayer: Cassius the great betrayer: Cassius the great betrayer: Cassius the great betrayer: Cassius the great betrayer: Cassius the great betrayer: Cassius the great betrayer: Cassius the great betrayer: Cassius the great betrayer: Cassius the great betrayer: Cassius the great betrayer: Cassius the great betrayer: Cassius the great betrayer: Cassius the great betrayer: Cassius the great betrayer: Cassius the great betrayer: Cassius the great betrayer: Cassius the great betrayer: Cassius the great betrayer: Cassius the great betrayer: Cassius the great betrayer Anima kept repeating his name over and over again, trying to understand the figure. He was losing his mind. Yes, this was him losing his humanity. He was going completely insane. A struggle of his humanity with a man simply on a chair. Anima: Cassius the great betrayer: Cassius the great betrayer: Cassius the great betrayer: Cassius the great betrayer: Cassius the great betrayer: Cassius the great betrayer: Cassius the great betrayer: Cassius the great betrayer: Cassius the great betrayer: Cassius the great betrayer: Cassius the great betrayer: Cassius the great betrayer: Cassius the great betrayer: Cassius the great betrayer: Cassius the great betrayer: Cassius the great betrayer: Cassius the great betrayer: Cassius the great betrayer: Cassius the great betrayer: Cassius the great betrayer: Cassius the great betrayer: Cassius the great betrayer: Cassius the great betrayer: Cassius the great betrayer: Cassius the great betrayer: Cassius the great betrayer: Cassius the great betrayer: Cassius the great betrayer: Cassius the great betrayer: Cassius the great betrayer: Cassius the great betrayer: Cassius the great betrayer: Cassius the great betrayer: Cassius the great betrayer: Cassius the great betrayer: Cassius the great betrayer: Cassius the great betrayer: Cassius the great betrayer: Cassius the great betrayer: Cassius the great betrayer: Cassius the great betrayer: Cassius the great betrayer: Cassius the great betrayer: Cassius the great betrayer: Cassius the great betrayer: Cassius the great betrayer: Cassius the great betrayer: Cassius the great betrayer: Cassius the great betrayerIf you spot this narrative on Amazon, know that it has been stolen. Anima: AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH FUCKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK Anima had both his hands on top of his head, losing his mind, not sure what to do in extreme, severe pain. Cassius: Who allowed you to think of my name? Oh well, I''ll give you a pass for now, Pretender. The pain disappeared from Anima''s head. He could finally breathe and relax, finally think and talk properly, finally process all the information. He could now stand up to the figure in front of him and withstand the fear that''s undeniably inside him. Cassius smiled as Anima stood up. Anima was heavenly breathing, finally having the courage to speak to the figure. Anima: Hey, asshole, I''m not going to ask you again who the fuck are you? And what the hell do you want with me?!? Anima threw a pocket knife he had towards Cassius, but it simply disappeared. Cassius: What am I? Who am I? How am I? Cassius: Like I said before... Cassius stood up from his chair. Both his arms were down, the white collared t-shirt, the black feathered cloak, and spread his black wings across his dark blue crown, glowing. Anima was still staring into Cassius''s murderous light blue eyes. Cassius: I''m Cassius The Great Betrayer, a fallen angel. I was named the angel of abyss. Anima: Why? Why do you keep showing up in my dreams? What the exactly is your goal? Cassius was laughing manically. Anima: Dammit, answer me, bitch! Cassius: All your questions will be answered in due time. For now, just remember this: you can''t tell anyone my name. Anima: And why is that? Cassius: Because it will instantly kill everyone you tell. To my name is forbidden knowledge. The second anyone thinks of my "real name," they will die. Anima: What exactly are you? Why did you keep appearing in my dreams over a month? And how are you here? Why did you show up? Cassius: So many questions, but I can''t exactly answer, not yet at least. But in due time, Pretender. Anima: At least tell me why did I dream about you? Is this why you''re here? Cassius: Dreams. Some say dreams show your truest desires, your truest, most fruitful desires and wishes that reside deep inside your soul. Some people say dreams show you the thing you fear most deeply. Some people say they show you your true self, your shadow. But I personally believe that it''s all dreams can do a lot, at least for most people. Sometimes you can have a recurring dream. But what does it mean when you have the same one for the rest of your life? Cassius: Better yet, was it a dream? Were you sure? Anima: What?!? Cassius was manically laughing at Anima. Anima: What''s your fucking deal with me? Cassius: You will learn that in time. But you really could have ended this all if you just experienced the rest of your trials. Anima: What are you talking about? Cassius: After all, I messed with your trials. Anima: What?! Anima had a shocked expression on his face. Cassius: HAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAH Cassius: You''re a fool, Pretender. Your first trial was real, but you were never meant to recover those lost, sealed, painful memories. I unsealed them. Anima: Why? Cassius: To mess with you, why else? Cassius was manically laughing. Anima had an angry face. Anima: You are a twisted fuck, that''s for sure. Cassius: Your second Trial wasn''t even a dream, it was real. The little girl you met, Sera, her parents, even that friendship bracelet you wear, was all real. I needed you to speed up the process of becoming a dream walker. Also, I couldn''t let you see your real 2-5 Trials, it would reveal too much. You did have a chance, but knowing you, I knew you would skip it. I mean, you''re finally a dream walker, I congratulate you, Pretender. Anima: You Anima: You damned bastard! Fuck you! Anima stuck up the middle finger. Cassius stuck up one back. Cassius was manically laughing. Anima: And what do you mean by knowing me and why do you keep calling me "pretender"? I ain''t pretending shit for all I know. Cassius: HAHAHAHAHAHAH. Do you wish to know me? Wish to interact with the true me? This version of me is simply an avatar. Why I always appear in your "dreams." Do you wish to know who and where your mother is? Anima: Wha...?! Cassius: Go beyond the leveling system. That''s the only way to know the truth, enter the shattered dreams, become strong. It takes thousands of years for people to level up. Use the pretender method. Pretend to be a god to get favors from other gods and beings. I mean, didn''t you do it before, Pretender? Anima, with wide eyes and no words to respond. Cassius was disappearing with the darkness. Cassius: Until next time. Anima: WAIT!! Cassius: Mr. Miracle. Chapter 8 End Chapter 9 The Start Of A Dream Part 1 Anima: What happened? The last Anima could remember was being knocked out after the Betrayer had disappeared. Anima: Well now I''m a dream walker. That shit was crazy. What an experience. The advancement to godhood? That''s what Anima heard to become a god. But what did it mean to become a god? Anima did not understand what the "Betrayer" meant by becoming a god. All he knew was that if what he was saying was true, he would have to level up to the highest he could go. That''s what he understood. To become a god. The only way to become a god is to "Pretend" to be one? "The Pretender Method" Apparently, it takes thousands of years to level up, but what was the "Pretender Method"? He didn''t get it, but what Anima did understand was that this meant trouble. In order to meet his mother, he had to "become a god." These were questions he must ask Mr. Arakin. He was probably the most knowledgeable in this information. But the Betrayer''s real name was something he had to be careful with. He could not tell it to anyone else. He did not want to hide information, but for now, he needed to keep the figure and his trials a secret. He could not afford for the people close to him to die. The rest of the trials. What did the Betrayer mean by saying if he did the rest of the trials, this would already be over? He didn''t get it. Anima: I''m back here in this white room this time. No figure calling out to him. Anima had to think what he needed going forward. What is it that he wanted? What should he do? How much should he say? Before Anima could focus on any of that, Anima: What I need is... Anima: A fucking break is what I need, oh Lord. Anima: That was a lot. Anima: Anyways, am I dreaming right now or like what the fuck am I doing? Anima: How do I get outtttttttttttttttttttttt? Anima shouted into the void white room. Vera and Eros: ANIMAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA HELLO???????? Anima: Huh, the fuck? Eros: HEY LOSER CAN YOU HEAR USSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS??? Anima: Fuck you, HELLOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO? Vera: ANIMA ARE YOU OKAY? Eros and Vera were both shouting at Anima as they were trying to wake him up. Eros: HEY LOSER, WHERE BOTH AT YOUR HOUSE, IM GONNA GO INTO YOUR CLOSET IF YOU DONT WAKE THE FUCK UP.Support the creativity of authors by visiting the original site for this novel and more. Anima with an annoyed expression, Anima: This bitch. ANIMA: HELLOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO CAN YOU HEAR ME???????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????? Anima then saw a portal of light open up in the white room. Anima: I can always count on the goat Mr. Arakin. Anima with a happy face walked towards the portal and entered it. Anima: Betrayer, we will meet again. Anima woke up. The current date was October 2nd, 2050. It was 1 PM. Three days had passed since he finished his trial. Anima moved up and cleared his eyes. Anima: Hello? Vera quickly rushed and hugged Anima. Anima blushed. Vera: You''re finally awake. Anima: Yeah. Eros: Look at who finally woke up. Eros and Anima both smiled at each other. Mr. Arakin: Glad you''re well, Anima. Anima: Is my dad at work right now? Mr. Arakin: Yes, we already informed him that we are here. Eros and Vera sat there patiently. Mr. Arakin: It''s been a whole three days since you were out. Anima: A whole three days, shit. I probably got a shit ton of work to do then. Mr. Arakin: It''s fine. I already told the principal your situation. Anima: Thanks, you''re a lifesaver. Mr. Arakin: Hahahahaha, no problem. Mr. Arakin: So...? Anima: Hm? Mr. Arakin: How was it? Anima: How was what? Eros: You really are slow in the head. He''s talking about The Trials. Vera was joyfully laughing. Vera: Cut him a break, he just woke up. Anima: Yeah, Eros. Mr. Arakin: So...? Anima: Oh, it was okay, I guess. The trials did surprise me. It definitely felt real, that''s for sure. Vera: Yeah, it was scary. Eros: I will admit it was tough. It really felt like it was trying to destroy your soul. I''m surprised, Anima. You did well. Anima: Thanks, Eros. Anima: Well, um, like should I share our trial experiences or some shit? What do we do now? Mr. Arakin: That''s all up to you. Now that you''re a new dream walker, it''s going to be two weeks before you start your first mission, but if there''s anything you like to share, you guys can, but I suggest you share it at our camping trip next week! Eros, Anima, and Vera with surprised faces on their faces. Eros, Anima, and Vera: WHAT! Mr. Arakin: That''s right. We have a camping trip next week, and tomorrow we''re going to go around town, you guys. Anima: Well, I needed a much-needed break anyway, so I''m fine. Eros: Sounds fun. Vera: Yay! Everyone looked joyful. Mr. Arakin: Anyways, Anima, anything you want to share? Anima with a very nervous face. How much should he share? He felt like it was right for Eros and Vera, after all, they were extremely close, but how much does he share? How much is safe to share? He didn''t want to put them in harm''s way, but Anima decided if he was going to do this, he couldn''t do it alone. He should tell them how much he thought was right. That was Anima was going to share. Anima: Well, for starters, do you guys know what the pretender method is? Mr. Arakin had a curious face. Vera and Eros had very confused faces. Mr. Arakin: The pretender method, huh? Vera: What does that mean? Eros: Care to elaborate? Anima: It''s a method where you "pretend" to be a god to get favors to level up faster because doesn''t it usually take thousands of years to level up? Mr. Arakin: You''re correct. It does take thousands of years to level up, but I can''t say what you mean by that. Eros: Oh, well, me and Vera are going to go home now. Mr. Arakin: Then I''ll take my leave as well. Vera: Bye, Anima. See you in call tonight. Eros: See you there, loser. Anima: WAIT! There''s one more thing. Eros, Vera, and Mr. Arakin with confused faces. Anima: I met him. Eros: Huh? What are you talking about? Mr. Arakin: Wait, you aren''t saying... Vera: Anima...? Anima: The man who wings are painted black, whose hair is blue. Vera, Eros, and Mr. Arakin''s faces quickly went from confused to shocked. Anima: ...The Betrayer Chapter 10 The Start Of A Dream Part 2 Everyone with shocked faces Eros: Wait you don''t mean..? Vera: You met the man? Anima: That''s right Yes The man The figure his wings were black and his hair was blue His presence that gave me chills down to my spine. Vera: Are you okay Anima: Yes I''m fine at the moment not so good Mr arakin: Could you find out any information about this figure why he was appearing in your dreams. Anything at all? Eros: So what was it you said its wings were black Anima: Yes he told me his name but I cant tell you guys Eros: Wait why? Vera: Why can you say his name Mr arakin: Don''t you tell me Anima: He also told me what he showed me was just one of his avatars and if I want to meet the actual him I would have to " Become a god " and go " Beyond the leveling system Vera: "Become a god?" Mr arakin what his he talking about? Eros: Beyond the system so someone above the basic leveling tiers? Mr arakin: That''s right Eros: Wait Anima what else did he tell you your not telling everything you said his wings were black and why did he call himself the " The betrayer" Anima: He told me his real name and I felt like my mind was splitting in half I think his name is consider "Forbidden Knowledge " Whatever the fuck Mr arakin was talking about that''s why I can tell you his name I would of died If He didn''t allow me to "know his real name " So I can tell you guys that sorry. I don''t know why he called himself The "betrayer" I wish I knew why he called himself that. To answer your question he called himself a "Fallen angel" . And the angel of abyss Anima thought when he called him the " Pretender " and '' Mr. mircale'' and he said He already did this already he will tell with hold the information But he will say that he called him "Mr miracle" He will also withhold the truth about his trials.. Anima: He also called me Mr miracle Anima: I don''t know what any of this means. Vera: Wait did you say fallen angel? Eros: So my theory was right Vera: But I thought that was impossible Mr arakin stood there with a curious face not sure what to say in a situation like this instead he was breaking down everything to the best of his abilityThis tale has been pilfered from Royal Road. If found on Amazon, kindly file a report. Vera had a very up setting face Mr arakin: well now everyone settle down Everyone calmed down with there expressions Mr arakin: Anima opened up here a lot so I think its time everyone here to as well before we leave Mr arakin shows his hand with a golden ring on its index finger on it with a blue orb in the middle of it Mr arakin: this ring right here is my vision power the ring here use the power of light I can control all light here and summon light I cant tell you its name as its consider " Forbidden knowledge " but I can show you and tell you the basics of its power While everyone was sitting down on Mr. Arakin used to the light to make a blackboard and made some chalk the blackboard was floating in the sky Mr arakin: Before our little vacation and our first mission its time I explain mostly of everything you need to know I was gonna teach this lesson some other time but now that we already this dep into it i figure I might as well teach this lesson now M arakin: First of all before all of that Vera and Eros and Anima can you explain your Vision powers Vera: oh sure ill go first Vera stood up in front of everyone and started to explain her ability Vera: My Vision power its called the shape its able to shape its able to shape and reshape anything Eros: Re shape anything well reshape this losers face Anima: oh fuck you Vera: hahahah oh! for a Example this book! Eros sits back down Eros: Well how do you like that loser Eros: Well its your turn now Anima gets up and stands infront of everyone Anma: My ablity is called the miracle and to be honest I really dont know what it fully does now Vera: Well that''s fine Anima: All I know is I can cure sickness and heal wounds Mr arakin: The "Miracle" huh? Eros: Well then what''s left Mr arakin Anima sits back down Mr arakin: Let me tell you about our "world" Anima: What like north america south america Europe and uhhh whats the other ones? Eros: your so stupid Vera grabs Anima hand Vera: Its fine Anima Blushes Anima: Oh yeah thanks Mr arakin couughs Mr arakin: Hmh mhm mhm Mr arakin: Now then Mr arakin starts drawing on the chalk board Mr arakin: Let me start explaining our world and the 5 realms that exist surrounding our planet Mr arakin: First lets start off with the shattered dreams Chapter 11 The Start Of A Dream Part 3 Mr. Arakin: "The Shattered Dream." Vera: The shattered dream...? Vera had a very confused face. Anima: What are you talking about? Eros: Like a broken dream? Mr. Arakin: All your questions will be answered first. Let me explain what I mean by the "5 Realms" and the "Shattered Dream." Eros, Vera, and Anima also sat there tightly and patiently listened. Mr. Arakin: Wonder what happens to dreams after they end. What happens to them? A lot of times dreams fade into the nothingness, into the deepest corner of our mind. Most of the time we don''t remember our dreams, they just disappear. We can barely remember what happened. Some dreams are more vivid than others. Some dreams just feel more real, feel more personal than other dreams, but nonetheless, in this world, dreams don''t disappear into the nothingness in our mind. They actually go somewhere, into a realm called "The Shattered Dream." A place where all dreams that end go. They get broken up into pieces. Then those broken pieces form new dreams. What we Dreamwalkers call it "Corrupt Dreams." But these dreams form monsters, none that you can imagine, and only can be entered when you hit Level 4. It''s one of the realms that hover over our world. Vera raised her hand up. Vera: I have a question. You said 5 realms over our planet (Earth). Just how big are these realms, anyways? How big are these realms, anyways? Like they''re big as a planet or what? Eros and Anima also seemed intrigued by this question. Mr. Arakin: Good question. The 5 small beams of lights that hover over our Earth are simply "Gateways," just portals to access these realms. The actual size of these realms is 5 universes entirely. Vera, Eros, and Anima were both shocked. Anima: Damn, that shit''s insane. So like, why do we have these gateways hovering over our Earth anyways? And if these bulbs of light are simply gateways to different universes, where are these universes located anyways? Mr. Arakin: Well, these universes are located on our 5th plane of existence. They all sat there very confused. Anima: Our fifth plane of existence...? This shit is all too confusing, Mr. Arakin. Anima sat there frustrated. Eros: Listen, I think this loser is dumb as bricks, but even I can agree we have no clue what you''re talking about. Vera: Yeah, I kind of understand the gateway and universe stuff, but the plane of existence stuff is very confusing, Mr. Arakin. Vera also sat there very frustrated and confused. Mr. Arakin: Okay, I''ll slow down a bit. Think of it like this: we live in a 7-layered pyramid. We live on plane 6. There are 7 planes that exist, each with multiple universes and higher-dimensional structures. We simply have gateways to 5 universes that we need as Dreamwalkers to survive and get stronger. Out of the infinite universes in each plane, those 5 essential universes we needed happened to exist on the 5th plane. So Dreamwalkers made gateways above our Earth to access these universes. Note, since these universes are connected to our plane of existence, anything that happens in those universes will directly affect our universe and especially Earth, as it''s directly connected from there. Now about the 7 planes, we''ll discuss that on our camping trip, as it''s complicated and deep. I''ll explain it then. Anyways, we simply refer to them as realms for short. Is that a bit more simple? Vera, with a very cheerful and excited expression, said: Vera: Thank you, Mr. Arakin. That was so much more helpful. Eros: Okay, I think I understand it a bit better.Support the author by searching for the original publication of this novel. Anima: Yeah... I get it, yeah, yeah, yeah. Vera laughed. Vera: You''re such a dumb-dumb. Vera laughed. Eros: You know it''s bad when Vera is insulting you. Anima: Come on, guys. Mr. Arakin: Okay, guys, settle down. Let''s continue with the lesson. Mr. Arakin would continue on with the lecture. Mr. Arakin: Hmh, mhm, mhm. Mr. Arakin cleared his throat. Mr. Arakin: Anyways, we Dreamwalkers need the Shattered Dream, as it''s the only way to get high enough level dream fragments if you wish to continue from level 4. Once you enter this plane of existence, it will play with your mind and try destroying it. You will fight high-powered monsters. Once killing them, you will get dream fragments. Vera: Wow, scary... Eros: Maybe we should send that loser there. Maybe it will fine-tune his brain or some shit. Anima: I should really beat your ass. Vera: Guys, come on, stop! Vera cutely screamed at them. As they were scuffling, Mr. Arakin sensed something wrong. Something strange, an uneasy feeling he couldn''t shake off. Unfortunately, he would have to end this lesson early today. Mr. Arakin: Unfortunately, I will have to end this lesson early today. We will continue on our camping trip, but for now, everyone head off home. Vera: Whaaaaaat? But I was excited. Eros: Well, have a good day, Mr. Arakin. Anima: Oh, no, how unfortunate. Anima, under his breath: Thank god. Vera would bonk his head. Anima: Owwwwwww. Vera: I heard that, you know. Eros: Anyways, same time tomorrow, we''re meeting up at Anima''s place, right? Anima: Yeah. Vera: Okay. Eros: Next time I come here, I''m picklocking the shit out of this drawer and show her what''s inside. Vera: Yeah, what''s inside of there, Anima?! Eros: Maybe I should just tell her-- Anima: If you dare even tell her or even hint what''s inside that drawer, I promise that''s the last word you utter. Anima, Eros, and Vera all laughed. Eros and Vera were both leaving. It was the weekend tomorrow. Vera: Bye, Anima. Eros: Bye, loser. Anima: Bye, guys! They all waved at each other, and Eros and Vera left together. Anima, Vera, and Eros were all best friends since childhood. They all laughed, shared all their secrets together. They were destined to have amazing and good lives. All destined to be gods. But unfortunately, for another group of friends that also went to Central School in Miami, Florida, Fate did not have the same plans for them. These group of boys liked to go to dangerous areas. On their bikes, they discovered closed-off areas. They were not Dreamwalkers, simple normal boys. John: Look, I found the place. It''s the ravine called God''s Valley! James: I think we should turn back. This place gives me the creeps. Timmy: Stop being such a pus. The ravine, large in length but short in height, was all three could jump in, and they did. Timmy, not so bad after all: Timmy: Why is this place closed off? There''s jack shit here. James: I think we should turn back. Something feels off about this place. John: Timmy, it''s fine. We''re good here. James: Damn, James, why are you always such a pus-- Before they knew it, two pillars of light that were shaped in a cross were through Timmy and John, and a white hand appeared. It was massive, 10 feet in size, gold stripes, and a large eyeball with the pupil being red. James: Wha, wha- what''s John-Timmy? ???: You, I need you. You will be my-- James was frightened to his very core. ???: That angel must pay. Night had come, and Mr. Arakin and other detectives investigated the scene. Mr. Arakin: What in the world happened? Detective: We have no idea. From the footage from the street cameras, these boys came here. We identified them as Timmy, John, and James. Timmy and John are dead; the missing boy is James. Mr. Arakin: Oh well, update me if you find out anything more about this. Vera, Eros, and Anima were queuing up a match in Valorant, all in their rooms, playing and talking together. As Vera was queuing for another match of Valorant, Vera checked Instagram and was shocked. Vera: Guys, check the school group chat. Vera said it in a worrying voice. Anima and Eros checked the group chat and were surprised to see the news. Vera: The entire GC is blowing up. Looks like 3 boys from our school, 2 are dead, and 1 is missing. Eros: Damn, shit''s crazy. I guess shit like that happens like that. Vera: Yeah, I feel bad for their parents. They must be heartbroken... Vera did a prayer, hoping their souls go to heaven. Anima: Well, it is what it is. Probably just some freak accident that happened, like James pushing those two off or something and running away. Well, let''s hope they figure out what in the world Chapter 12 The Encounter A week had passed since the God Valley incident. Anima and everyone else went about their days as if nothing out of the ordinary had happened. They went to school, returned home, did their work, played¡ªeverything was normal. Nothing out of the ordinary. They lived in Miami, Florida, but in a secluded corner of the world. What about everywhere else? Were people going about their days happily as usual? Of course not. Things were happening, shifts and changes. For a moment, we shall look into a different perspective. Three Level 6 Dream Walkers from Australia were currently searching for a secret artifact. They had entered the Abyss. Jackie: Hey, are you sure this artifact is located here? Lyros: I''m certain it''s here. My GPS is indicating this location. I''m sure it''s here! Taris: Okay, if you say so, then I trust you. But it''s hot as hell here. They were currently in the Abyss, a place deep beneath Australia. It was like crossing into a different world. The place was stormy, with black clouds and temperatures exceeding 200 degrees. Lightning crackled, the ground was ashen, and the entire world was shrouded in darkness. A giant black castle loomed in the distance, the supposed location of the artifact. The artifact they sought was the "Lantern of the Moon Goddess," containing a special Dream Shard fragment. Classified as ALS (Above the Leveling System), it was the missing half of the Moon God''s power. The group ventured through the Abyss, encountering only barren terrain, mountain ranges, and storms. No monsters were in sight. As they approached the castle, a colossal, ten-foot-tall ogre with multiple red eyes and yellow pupils appeared. If you encounter this narrative on Amazon, note that it''s taken without the author''s consent. Report it. Lyros: Jackie, look out! Jackie dodged a beam of energy fired by the ogre. The adventurers'' Visions were primarily support-oriented. Lyros''s Vision, "Reacher," was a GPS watch capable of locating powerful artifacts and beings. Jackie''s Vision, "Cage," allowed him to create protective shields for his allies. Taris''s Vision, "Rod," was a green energy fishing string that could drain mana from enemies. Taris: Vision on. His eyes glowed green as he extended his string towards the ogre. Ogre: Rahahhahahahhaha! It fired another laser beam, which they dodged. Jackie: Damn bastard. Lyros: Put your cage down, Jackie! Jackie deployed his cage, and Lyros drew his axe, "Level Up," an artifact capable of temporarily leveling up the user to match an opponent one level higher. With a swing of his axe, Lyros severed the ogre''s head. Jackie: Hey, let''s go. Nice job! Taris: Good shit, Lyros. Lyros: Let''s go! The group entered the castle, following Lyros''s GPS signal towards the artifact. The castle was empty, devoid of monsters, chests, or anything of interest. Taris: This place is creepy, man. There''s nothing here. Is your GPS picking up anything? Lyros: Just the artifact. Jackie: Wow, this was easy. Let''s grab the artifact, get out of here, and get rich. Their goal was to sell the artifact and retire from Dream Walking. They knew it was valuable, but they had no idea of its true rarity, power, or the consequences of its discovery. It was mere luck that Lyros''s GPS had led them to it. They descended a staircase into a cold, dark room. Jackie: Talk about weather change. First, it''s extremely hot, and now it''s freezing down here. Taris: Whatever. Let''s just grab the artifact and get out of this place. Jackie: Where is it? Lyros: Just across this hallway. They walked down the hallway and found the "Lantern of the Moon Goddess." Jackie: Holy shit, I can feel the power surging through this lantern. The lantern emitted a purple glow, filling the room with immense energy. Taris: Holy shit, we''re going to be rich. Let''s go. Just as they were about to claim their prize, a chilling voice echoed through the room. ???: Hello there. You seem to have something I need. Chapter 13 O God May I Utter Your Name A word couldn''t be uttered; they couldn''t do anything before they could think they were dead. ???: I forgot to ask your names, my apologies. The three adventurers were dead. They all had families in this world. People debate if fate is certain or if it could be changed. Would God be so cruel to murder these people? If fate is predetermined, then why such a cruel fate? Things people couldn''t explain, they could only hope and pray for what misfortune happens to people. If fate could be changed, then why wouldn''t people do anything about it? Was the real question why would people accept cruel fates? Only questions that belong to the gods themselves. The figure grabbed the artifact and put it into his inventory. ???: Lantern of the moon goddess. ???: Finally, I have what I need to go south. "South" when he means by going south is not about going towards a place in the south. What he means by changing his direction of his pathway. ???: Well then, I should get back up there before I encounter anymore humans. Truly didn''t mean any harm. Unfortunate, truly this wasn''t meant to happen. Unfortunately, the second any person gazes in my direction, they die. Truly it was a mistake. How impetuous of me. I should have been more careful, but I didn''t expect any human to find his castle, let alone under here. Wow, humans are truly becoming more advanced, more stronger, aren''t they? Maybe the gods up there were correct. They could be a problem, but it would still take them millions of years for them to even reach our heights. And by then, we would be so far above. Well then, I doubt there''s much of a threat anyways. In this world, there are four main "Umbrellas." Some call it The mythology pathway, the angel pathway, the demon pathway, and the circle of gods. Every pathway except for the circle of gods, you can go four directions: north, south, west, east. Each direction you go, there are seven levels, and above those directions, there''s an ALS, a god hovering over. For normal dreamwalkers, it was forbidden to ever go west, east, and south, only north where the seven mythology pathways exist. Even angels, demons, and gods have dream cores and are dreamwalkers. After all, it was the power of God. ???: O God, may I utter my name? Forgive me for this sinful behavior. ???: I''m Jason, The first and only son of God. Jason was speaking with such compassion, with such charisma, it was unbelievable, with a smile on his face. Jason: I''m the ALS Of the angel pathway! The man who headed north! But now I shall go south and change my direction. Thank you for everything, God! How lucky I am to be your son! How lucky I am to be just like you. How lucky Am I to be just like you! How lucky will I be to become just like you! How exciting! Now I shall return above and have a feast with the rest of the gods! And that was that. Jason returned home. Coming back to Miami, Florida, there was a couple, Husband named Danny and His Wife named Lucy. They weren''t dreamwalkers, just a normal couple. They had expensive jewelry, especially the "Dark Matter" set. They were quite rare, expensive sets of jewelry that the government put on auction and sold it to the couple. Danny was, and Lucy was a nurse. Danny: Wow, don''t you look beautiful? Lucy: Says you, honey. Danny: Your blonde hair is so beautiful. How lucky am I to have you as my wife. Lucy: Oh, how lucky I am to have you. Lucy and Danny went to sleep that night. They went to bed and dreamt they were dreaming... Report it. They were in a deep slumber, not dreaming of nothing for both of them. Then, in Lucy''s deep slumber, she suddenly started dreaming. It was a black, dark room. Lucy wasn''t conscious, but she could see a figure flickering. It seemed like the figure was getting closer. Until: BANG! All of a sudden, she would not wake up again. Danny had heard a noise and woke up. Danny: Lucy? Danny turned around to only see his wife dead. Blood coming from the head. Her lifeless body. Danny: LUCY!! Danny: Lucy, Lucy, Lucy!!! Danny: NO! WHAT HAPPENED? HOW? Danny then turned around to see a figure. It was about 4''10", the figure was short. It had a round stomach, it was in a jester outfit with a jester hat, the colors were red and blue. The entire jester costume with the face being this mask, a white mask with a yellow X on both its eyes and a mouth covered in red lipstick. Danny: WHA-WHAT ARE YOU? WHAT DO YOU WANT? Danny: O God, MAY I UTTTER YOUR NAME? PLEASE SAVE ME! Jester: O God, may I utter your name? HHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHHAHA DON''T MAKE ME LAUGH! GOD? THAT MAN IS LONG GONE! The jester had a sinister smile on its face and was manically laughing like a clown. Then it flickered. Danny was dead, blood coming from his brain. The figure went into their couple''s jewelry stash and found the black jewels. ???: You could call me Jester. Jester then went into the stash and took the black jewelry. ???: MUHAHHAHAHAAHHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAAHHAHAHAHAHAAAHHA Jester manically laughed like a clown. Jester then went into the basement and threw the jewelry on the ground. Jester: SON, COME TO ME NOW! SON, HEAR MY VOICE! COME TO ME NOW! Jester repeated the chant, however, it failed. Jester: DAMM YOU! COME HEAR MY VOICE!!!!!!!! YOU BASTARD! YOU MADE ME LIKE THIS! COME TO ME NOW! Anima had turned on the news on his TV to see the couple, Danny and Lucy, dead. Anima: Dad, come here. Soulvani came and sat next to Anima. Soulvani: Yeah, I saw what a tragedy, really. Anima: Things are just getting stranger, aren''t they? Soulvani: Well, yeah, but nothing to scoff at. We do live in a strange world, don''t we? Anima: Well, yeah, I guess. Anima and his dad both smiled at each other. Soulvani patted Anima on the back. Soulvani: Well, time to get to school now, buddy. Anima: Yeah, I know. Anima headed to school. Chapter 13 End Chapter 14 New day The next day had arrived. It was October 9th, 2050, a Monday. Next week would be the camping trip. Eros, Vera, and Anima had all returned to school. They came back and attended their classes. English class had just finished with Ms. Susie. Lunch had arrived, and Anima, Vera, and Eros all headed to a park where they usually ate their lunch. They sat there eating their lunch, just casually talking, until someone came running towards them. ???: YOOOOOOOOOOOOOO WHAT''S GOOD GUYS! HOW YOU BEEN? Vera: Hello there, Elio. How have you been? Eros chuckled. Eros: Hahahaha, how have you been, Elio? Anima had a frustrated look on his face. Anima: You''ve got to be kidding me. Meanwhile, two detectives were exploring the murders of the couple Danny and Lucy. It was a married couple named The wife''s name was Carina, and the husband''s name was Amal. They were investigating the couple''s murder and had arrived at the crime scene. It was a chaotic day in the neighborhood, as this neighborhood was quite peaceful. This was the first time any crime in years had happened, especially a first-degree murder. The neighbors reported screaming during the night. Two of the neighbors checked the house to see both of them dead. These two couples were well-liked there. Amal: So what do you think about it? Carina: This is a very odd killing. Looking around the house, it looks like no one had broken in, and no one had touched anything. Nothing was stolen, and there were no broken windows. The neighbors reported that the door was locked when they came, and apparently, they rushed when they heard the screaming, and the man was gone. It looks like nothing was stolen. Amal: Carina, look at their bodies. Carina: Huh? Amal: Looks like a tiny hole where their brains were. It''s a perfect hole. There''s no bullet residue or blood. The death seemed seamless. I''m not sure what this killer''s intent was. Let''s ask around the neighbors to see if they had anyone who may have had issues with Danny and Lucy. The detectives asked around but couldn''t find anything to help this case until they asked one neighbor who had been good friends with the couple and actually helped manage their money, whatever it be, jewelry, or anything that revolves around money. The couple bought a lot of jewelry, which could be a reason why the killer targeted the couple, but they usually kept anything with money on the low. So the detectives sorted through all the jewelry. Neighbor: That''s strange. Nothing seems missing. Carina: Oh man, that''s a bummer. Amal: So what, the killer just murdered them and left? But why just seamless killings? If so, this case might be more trouble than I hoped. Carina: Are you sure that was all the jewelry we looked at, or is there more there that we don''t see and aren''t checking? Anything possible, very valuable, that they could have stolen? Anything of that sort of nature? Any reason why Danny and Lucy would be killed? Any possible enemies? Anything like that could help. Neighbor: Well, now coming to think of it, they did have an expensive piece. It was a set of black jewels. They were black diamonds, but I don''t think they put it where their regular pieces are. If I recall, they were very expensive, a one-of-a-kind set. They had so check if that''s still there. Amal: Any idea where they are? And see if those black jewels are still there. Carina had a curious and intrigued look on her face. Carina: Wait, look over there. Amal: Hmh? Carina went into the drawer where the jewelry stash was and saw the bottom part of the drawer slightly opened. Neighbor: Look over there. The bottom of the drawer is slightly opened. That means someone had touched it.This story has been unlawfully obtained without the author''s consent. Report any appearances on Amazon. Carina walked over to the drawer and opened the bottom of it to see that there was a secret section down there. Amal: Looks like we found at least some type of lead. Carina: Yup. There was black dust there in the drawers, and it looked like something was missing from it. Carina gently bowed down. Carina: Thank you for helping in this case. Amal: Thank you! Neighbor: No problems, detectives. If you have any more questions, always feel free to ask me. Meanwhile... Anima: Elio, go away, please. Elio, 5''4", skinny as hell, he was basically bald. He wears blue Nike shoes. He has a purple Nike tech on with purple pants and normal black eyes, large ass eyebrows, and someone I despise more than Eros. Vera: Anima, stop being so rude. Vera puffed her face up. Anima: Elio, what do you want? Elio: What I want is to be a RAPPPERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR! Anima: You want to be a rapist? Yeah, I figured as much. Vera: Anima! Vera bonked Anima on the head. Anima: Owwwwwwwwwwwww, sorry. Elio: Why you always hating, man? Come on, Anima, we buddies, bro. Let''s rap some songs together. Anima: Over my dead body. Eros: Loser, Elio is lowkey right. He''s just chill. Anima: Sigh. Sorry, and what I meant was what do you want? Why are you here? Vera: To hang out, of course. Elio: Of course, man. Eros: Well, since Anima is the group leader, he gets to decide if he wants you here or not. Anima: I''m NOT the group leader, bro. Vera blushes. Vera: I mean... Anima: Come on, Vera. And fuck you, Eros. Eros: So? Anima: Well, if it''s up to me, then I think we decide it with a fight. Vera: Of course, Anima, you never change. Vera smiles. Anima: I''m not fighting. Eros: Cuz you a bitch. Anima: Because Alexander is going to fight him. Eros and Vera went into silence. Eros and Vera: You''ve got to be fucking kidding me. The night was passing into the next day. Jester was in Las Vegas. Standing on a sign, looking at a big screen, the screen was reporting the murder he committed. Fight! Fight! Part 1 **The wind started to blow. An unshakable presence had entered the field. The ground shook. Everyone paused for a moment, then he finally appeared.** **Alexander: What''s good, guys?** Alexander was a boy with ocean-blue eyes, spiky, broken hair with a ponytail behind him. He was about 5''10" in height, wore a white, unbuttoned shirt where you could see his abs, and black Air Force Ones. He was one of my other friends from school. His teacher is named Mr. Brian; he is also another dream walker, just like Mr. Arkin. He is a level 6 dream walker, not to mention he is very muscular and a great guy. Oh yeah, I forgot to mention Elio is also a dream walker and level 6. He could kick my ass, and Alexander is level 6 as well. Both of them could blow away this entire continent if they wanted to. **Vera, with deepened disappointment on her face:** "That''s even low for you, Anima." Vera shrugged her head. **Eros:** "Oh well, whatever this loser wants." **Elio:** "You, what''s up, Alex? So Anima wants me to fight you, huh? Oh well, bring it on!" **Alexander:** (Smirks) "Sure, come." Before the fight started, a crowd began forming. **Eros:** "Look what you started." **Anima:** "My bad, twin." Before they knew it, over half the school came around the park where Vera, Eros, and Anima sat. It was crowded full of students. **Vera:** "Jeez, Anima, you never change, do you? Now look what we have to deal with, Eros." **Eros:** "Oh, whatever, just let them fight." **Eros:** "Everyone back up! Be careful; they are about to clash. Everyone stand back!" Anima, Eros, and Vera backed up as well and gave Elio and Alexander space to fight. **Crowd:** "FIGHT! FIGHT! FIGHT! FIGHT! FIGHT! FIGHT! FIGHT! FIGHT! FIGHT! FIGHT! FIGHT! FIGHT! FIGHT! FIGHT! And for a couple of seconds, everything went silent. You could cut the tension with a knife. And then... **Elio:** "VISION ON!" **Alexander:** "Vision on." And for the whole fight, everyone was silent. Alexander was standing right in place, smirk up, hands crossed together. Elio made the first move. Elio dashed right towards Alexander. He was lightning-fast, just like a lightning bolt. He swung his right leg towards Alexander''s head, but for some reason, Elio couldn''t connect his leg, and then he backed up. **Elio:** "What the hell, bro?" **Alexander:** "What''s wrong, Elio? Come on." **Elio:** "You damn bitch, I''ll show you!" Elio then came back and started kicking him and punching, moving around him trying to connect. **BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM** **BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM** **BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM** **BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM** **BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM** **BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM** **BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM** **BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM** **BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM** **BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM** **BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM** **BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM** 1 Explosions were coming out while Elio was kicking, but nothing was happening. He simply couldn''t connect to him. The issue that Elio experienced in this fight isn''t that he couldn''t make contact; _he didn''t understand why he couldn''t make contact._ Elio is part of the Minitour pathway, a pathway that relied on close combat fights. So, unable to make contact was an issue, but he could if he understood exactly how Alexander''s Vision worked. Elio''s Vision is called Adapt. It''s very simple to understand. If Elio can understand the Vision, he could adapt towards it. Obviously, it had restraints. If someone was at a higher level than him, this wouldn''t work. As long as his enemy was the same level or lower, this would work. Elio was a pretty unaware person, pretty stupid, and obnoxious, but if there was one thing he was good at, it was reading and understanding abilities. Elio would keep trying to attack, but nothing would work. His feet would never make contact. **In Elio''s head:** **Elio:** "Damn, what is with his vision? Is it some sort of barrier? Some sort of space? Is he freezing me at the last moment? What''s going on?" Elio had already thought those while he was firing those barrages of attacks, but he wasn''t adapting. Elio had a frustrated expression on his face. **Alexander:** "What''s wrong? You look upset. You look upset already." **Elio:** "Damn bitch, what''s with you?" Alexander remained in his same position with a smirk and his hands crossed together, not moving from the spot he was standing on. Alexander finally moved his hands down to his waist. **Elio:** "What the..." The ground started shaking. The leaves, the rocks started floating. **Elio:** "What the..." **Alexander:** "I''ll show you my vision power." **Alexander:** "Phantom Forces" Chapter 16 Fight! Fight! Fight! Part 2 Alexander was not like everyone else, a man who simply had one goal to prove something so small, so arrogant. But still, he wanted to prove something. Only he thought he could prove it. He wanted to be the strongest while remaining human. Everyone in this world is not truly human. They all slowly lose their humanity, slowly lose what they were or what they truly came from. They might seem human, but they would evolve into something so inhuman-like. That''s what it meant to be a Dream Walker, that''s what it meant to see and feel the powerful, that''s what it meant to the millions of once-humans walking north. These Dream Walkers slowly shed their skin and slowly became more beast-like. He would not. Dream Walkers would grow wings, more arms, horns, and grow more and more beast-like. He would not. He would remain mortal. He lied about what pathway he was from. In fact, he was part of no pathway at all. He would not go north, west, east, or south. He would not shed his skin. He was going to remain mortal and advance as a mortal. He was going to remain mortal until godhood. So if he was not part of the mythological pathway, if so what? It''s what his soul desired to become: a mortal god, a man who would not walk towards divinity. The Circle of Gods was a pathway not touched in millions of years. In fact, it''s not a pathway to obtain godhood. It was the path for godhood for people already born with such status since birth. And those millions of years ago, the gods would decide who would be the major ones and who would be the lesser ones. They were gods of something. Alexander, on the other hand, would simply be a mortal "god" if he does make it far. But going down this path would put him in the middle of the circle, which would put him in the crosshairs of all 25 gods that were ALS. Millions of years have gone by since anyone has walked this pathway. The question would be: would he survive? **Alexander: Phantom Forces** The ground would shake. His energy would be felt across the entire continent. Usually, a fight between two Dream Walkers would never happen on Earth. And if it did, it would happen in a different plane called the "Dream Plane" where the spectators could watch. But this would not happen. It''s why the students were so riled up, since fights don''t usually happen on this earthly plane. In fact, it was a law in most countries, including America, but they seemingly didn''t care. The teachers were alerted as they could feel something wrong already by the previous clash. But the fight would end shortly afterward. The rocks and pebbles floated. **Alexander:** "You wanted to know what''s wrong, Elio. Why you couldn''t understand and were unable to use your vision power. I''ll explain my powers to you right here." **Elio:** "Do you take me for some fucking dumbass?" **Alexander:** "Yes, I do." Elio had a frustrated face. He bit his lip and squeezed his hands so hard it looked like his nails would bleed out. **Alexander:** "Well, adapt to this." **Elio:** "Damn you." **Alexander:** "Looks like that pride of yours hurt." Alexander continued to have that large smirk on his face. **Alexander:** "My ability works like I have two ghosts: one is blue and one is red. There are tiny colored dots. Speed is blue, and the red one controls force. The reason you couldn''t touch me is because I dropped your speed to zero the second you were about to touch me. Don''t worry, my ability has a range of 5 meters for now. The reason you can''t see my two ghosts is because they exist in something called the ''Phantom Plane''." **Alexander:** "Get it yet?" Alexander would remain in the same position. **Elio:** "Bleh, bleh, bleh. Just seems like all yap to me." Elio charged right in. Elio would do the same thing, but he wasn''t hitting him this time. He was simply zooming around him.Ensure your favorite authors get the support they deserve. Read this novel on the original website. It would hit Alexander''s right cheek. Elio finally had adapted. Alexander''s face would finally change to that of surprise. **Elio:** "Yeah, I wiped that smirk off your fucking face." **Alexander:** "Wow, well, I did explain my ability to you. I knew you couldn''t be that dumb. The way Eros explained you, sounded like you were the reincarnation of Nicolae Ceausescu. Oh well, you forgot one thing." **Elio:** "?" Elio had a confused expression on his face, but then he realized. **Alexander:** "My vision range is 5 meters." Before he could realize, Alexander clapped his hands. Alexander was gone. Alexander had blocked sound energy coming into Elio''s ear by using the red phantom (force). Before Elio could turn his back, Alexander was right behind him. Alexander clenched his face, added 5x more force into that punch, and punched Elio right from behind. **BAAAAAAM!** Elio had been sent 100s of meters away through trees and mountains, and Elio had stopped under a large mountain. On impact, an explosion happened. The dust cleared, and Elio stood up limping with bruises on him. **Elio:** "Da-" Before Elio could say the word... The floating rocks that had no force towards them, no gravity, Alexander put 10x the force into the singular rock and shot it just like how you would flip a coin. **ZOOM BANG** It would pierce the side of Elio, knocking him down, going through multiple mountains and terrains. **Elio:** "Cough, cough..." Elio would start coughing out blood. Elio would be laid out on the floor. **Elio:** "Ah, man." Alexander would be standing tall above him. Alexander would put his hands out, and Elio would reach it and get up. **Alexander:** "Ggs." **Elio:** "Ggs." **Chapter 16 En Chapter 17 Dream loop There are stories around the world about the first "Murderer." There were two brothers, Vigil and Marcus. They were both siblings that existed during the start of all existence. Both existed in peace and harmony. They would walk around and play and have good fun. They were the closest of brothers. Nothing could ever put them apart. Before they went to bed, they would tell each other, "Until death do us part." Two brothers who seemingly cared about each other. Brothers who seemingly loved each other until a certain someone came into the equation. Her name was Victoria. Long black hair, stunning sparkling green eyes, and the most beautiful body anyone had ever seen. Vigil: Good night, brother. Marcus: Good night. And just like that, the day passed. Nothing more, nothing else for a man whose sins have yet to be shown. Vigil and Marcus were walking through the desert the very next day. They stopped and passed a big body of water and stopped to drink water. After that, they walked through an entire sandstorm, all to finally arrive at their destination: the jungle. Vigil: Looks like we arrived, brother. Marcus: Wow, what a beautiful forest! I can''t believe how huge and beautiful it is. They walked through the forest as another destination for their journey of who knows what. Vigil walked through the forest with his brother. All of a sudden... Zip. Time skipped a couple of hours later. They were on top of this huge mountain with stone hedges. Vigil (in his head): What just happened? Marcus: Look, look, brother! I''m on top of this stone hedge. Vigil: Hey, Marcus, I see you. All of a sudden, another time jump happened, and they happened to be at some sort of garden. A bunch of flowers were around the place with different plants. A huge green tree was at the place, and a dead minotaur would be at the bottom of his feet with a spear on his right hand, with the minotaur''s blood on it. Vigil put his hands on his head with a frustrated face on him. Vigil: _What''s going on with me?_ Vigil would look at his brother while he was terrified. Marcus: Brother, brother, you''re so amazing! I would have died without you. You''re so incredible! Oh, what I would have done without you! I was so scared. You saved my life. You are a true hero through and through. Vigil would stay quiet. Marcus: Brother, are you okay? Time would skip again. Vigil would see a woman with beautiful long black hair and sparkling green eyes. Her name was Victoria. He would be known most famously as Vigil, The First Dream Walker. Chapter 17 End. Chapter 18 Nightmares standers Part 1 It was after school on October 10th, 2050. The fight between Elio and Alexander happened during lunch. They both got in trouble but only with a warning not to have such a dangerous fight again. Then the day went on. It''s after school. They needed a way to get money. Eros and Vera both had part-time jobs, but they still needed money. As they walked, they thought of ways to get more money. Elio: Guys, I say we make a band and start selling tickets to our show. We can perform our show. It''s going to be sooooo lit! Eros: No one is watching that shit. Anima: I second that. Vera: Stop, you guys are so mean! Vera puffed her cheeks up. Alexander: I have an idea. Anima: And what would that be? Alexander: Let''s rob a church. Everyone stared at Alexander with a blank stare. 30 minutes passed by. They were at a church. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . Cosmic nightmares. What are they? They are horror stories kids all read to each other during sleepovers, camping trips, and spooky stories that people believe are false. Stories about space deities that exist are as good as myth in this world. People believe in a lot of things that seem impossible, but in this world, it''s more probable than anything. Dream walkers are known. God is real, but what about the existence of something far more terrifying in the depths of the cosmos? Something not even visible to the human eye but is constantly watching you. That was one of the many things the greatest detective thought of. Detective Felisa, a man who existed during the 2nd rejection, truly believed that these cosmic horrors existed out in deep space. The horrors roared in deep space. Nightmares that are truly real. Physical proof they exist, but he could never find any proof of this. He truly believed that nightmares were real, but even some of the smartest professors and people who study the art of dream walking found what he said as "as a curious cat who thought too big." He was and is still considered the greatest detective of all time. Even today''s era, current detectives and professors look up to him and the greatness of his work. It was said he _almost_ solved every mystery while he was alive during his era. But some professors say that his research about cosmic nightmares was his curious imagination thinking too big _or was it an unsolved mystery_?This content has been unlawfully taken from Royal Road; report any instances of this story if found elsewhere. Vera: I can''t believe we''re actually doing this. Oh god, forgive me for my sins. Anima: Calm down, Vera. It might be a church. Most churches are scams. They just take your money and use it for whatever weird shit they''re doing there. Eros: Hey, loser, keep it down. Alexander: Guys, go on my mark. A couple of nuns and priests were walking by. They had white clothing on. They walked up to some circle with a bunch of people with black, cult-like outfits on. They were all in black, and they were chanting some sort of ancient language. ???: ?e?-il? e?-me e?-?a? he?-gal?, he?-il? sa?-ga e?, me-te-na ?e?-il? mu-un-de? e?. Zi-gal e?-me. Eros: Whatever, let''s just take the money and get out of here. Anima: I agree. This place creeps me the hell out. And what the hell are they chanting? It''s like some ancient language or something. Elio stuffed the money into his jumper. Anima: Uh shit, Alexander, you do the countdown. Alexander: Uh okay, 3, 2¡ Before Alexander could finish his countdown, everyone''s expression quickly went to shock¡ But as Alexander was about to finish the count, someone appeared out of nowhere. ???: Going somewhere? Chapter 19 Nightmares standers (Part two) ???: Hello there A man in all black with a black robe and a cross on his neck, but it would be upside down, he greeted them with a smile. He had short blonde hair gelled up, blue eyes, and a pale white face. ??: Hello there, children. May I help you? Anima: Uhh, we were here just... here to, uh, visit. Elio: Yeah, right... guys Everyone: Yehhh Vera: So sir, you''re a priest, right? Mind if I ask your name? You know, I''m very religious and pray to God a lot, and I would like to ask you if I could... ask you if I could actually sign up and volunteer in this church, if you don''t mind. Vera says this with a face with a huge smile. Anima whispering to Vera with a frustrated looking face: Anima: What are you doing here? This guy is obviously super creepy and weird, and his cross is upside down for God''s sake. Vera quickly kicks Anima in the ass. Anima says it in a squeaky voice: Anima: Owwwwww---- what the hell was that? Eros: Please shut the hell up, dumbass. Alexander: Sooooooooo... so where''s the entrance? ???: Please, please, please stay. I would love for everyone here to stay and to answer your question. My name is Christian St. Marcus, and I''m the priest of this church... or at least, I would call this church. Elio: And what do you mean by that? Christian: Well, you see, I believe in a different god. Eros: Like the one in the circle of gods? Christian: Oh no, I''m talking about that clown circle of gods. I''m talking about a different "True God." Vera: And what the hell is that meant to be mean? Vera stared at him with a murderous face. Christian: Oh little girl, please calm down. I can feel your disgusting bloodlust on me. Lower it down. Anima: Damn you, let''s get out of here. Eros: Anima, stay calm. Eros slowly drew his sword, but Something would appear that would grab his attention. The wall would change, and some sort of image would appear. Christian: This is what I wanted to show you. Everyone looked in shock as they stared and what was shown to him. Some sort of diagram with 7 sections and multiple names on it. 5 for each section except the last 1, which had 3 names on. Eros: What the hell is this? Anima: "Reverse world." Christian: That''s right. The reverse world is something our so-called church has been looking at for long, but we wouldn''t really call ourselves that, more like a group of people. Alexander: What would that group be called? Eros: And what "common goal" are you talking about? Alexander: Our group is called the Nightmare Standers. Anima: "Nightmare Standers"... you''re kidding me, right? Anima whispered to Eros: Anima: I thought that was an inside joke that you made. Eros: That''s what I thought so too... Loser. Christan: See this picture you''ve been looking at on the wall. It''s a group of names. They''re ordered weakest to strongest from their respective tiers, kind of like the dream walking system, but these beings are suspected to be called cosmic nightmares. Powerful cosmic entities that even surpass the gods and people that - Elio: You''re saying too much. What if I just beat your ass? This book''s true home is on another platform. Check it out there for the real experience. Christian chuckles a bit. Elio: HEY! What''s so funny? Do you know who I am? Christian: As I was saying, they even surpass gods and people that are above the leveling system. We as Nightmare Standers are basically the opposite of dream walkers. Even though we do dream walk, we use to stand still and focus on the darker part of minds and access the dreams from there, hence the weird chants. But we do this so we can get the attention of cosmic nightmares and hopefully get the attention of one in particular. Vera: And who would that be? Christian pointed at a name at the very top but below two other names. Christian: The Dreamer, but do you want to know its real Christian: But do you want to know its real name. Vigil. Everyone looked shocked. Anima: The first murderer...? Christian: No, what he''s most famously known for. Eros: Vigil. First dream walker. Alexander: You''re telling me Vigil, the first dream walker, is some cosmic nightmare now? Christian: Do you know why he became the first dream walker? Eros: And why is that? Christian: You see, before he was the first dream walker, he was known as the first murderer when he killed his brother. Some say God cursed him in an eternal slumber that would make him loop the same dream over and over again. Some say he''s still stuck in this dream loop, but subconsciously he started to dream walk in his dream loop, making him the first dream walker. His power is connected to every dream walker across the entire microcosm of the entire cosmology. His includes entire universes, all 7 layers that exist, every higher dimensional structure, every phase, everything. Anima: And what the hell is your goal with this? Christian: I plan to awaken him, of course! Once he wakes up, he will stop dreaming. He will stop walking. His dream walking is the reason why you guys can even exist in the first place. You guys will stop dreaming and just be gone. He wasn''t born with a dream core. He is the dream core! Everyone had disgusted faces. Vera: Why would you want to do something like that? Christian: Why? Who wouldn''t want to be truly human? Every dream walker is corrupt. I mean, think with your brain. Every passing second you slowly become less human. Every time you level up, you become more and more monstrous. They''re forcing you into this! Dream walking is a curse, not a blessing. I''m trying to save you all. Can''t you see! But don''t worry, I extend my hospitality to everyone who joins Nightmare Standers. I have a way to make you human, truly human, and you won''t die to Vigil the dreamer. The cosmic nightmares. Vigil waking up would cause such an event, the "Last dream" as they call it. Everything would fall apart if he woke up. Christain: Your name is Anima, isn''t it? I can see your name above your head. Oh wait, I knew that name. You''re a Soulani child, aren''t you? Anima: You... Christian: Now come to think about it, your dad wasn''t born with a dream core. He''s considered an "Anomaly," correct? Now come to think of it, don''t "Anomalies" get executed on birth? I wonder how he slipped b- Before Christian could finish his sentence, a knife would be held up through his throat. Anima: YOU JUST SHUT THE FUCK UP! DO NOT SPEAK ONE WORD ABOUT MY DAD! Christian chuckles. Christian: Oh well. But I will tell you something. Did you know your mom has been visiting your dad every night, but you have had no clue for the last 15 years of your existence? How sad and pitiful is that? Always yearning for your mother and her love yet she never seen you. Anima: What did you just say? Elio: Enough chit chat. Let''s beat this guy''s ass! Alexander: I agree. Eros and Vera both nodded. Elio would rush towards the man and proceed to kick him on the left of his head, but it wouldn''t connect. Christian: Your ability is to adapt, correct? Trust me, you would not be able to adapt to what I am. Anima and Elio would be sent flying back. Vera caught Anima, and Eros caught Elio. Elio: This fucker. Vera: Anima, you okay? Alexander would proceed to flick a coin with high mass and scrape Christian''s face. He would bleed from his right cheek. Christian seemed completely shocked. Alexander: What was that one saying again? If it bleeds, then we can kill it. Chirstan: HAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHHA! You''re an interesting one. Christian: What did your bald-headed friend say again? "He would kick my ass." Then let''s see you try to kick my ass. Christian had a large and devious smile on him. 4 long and large crosses came down from the sky. He aimed it at the group. Christian: I will use these crosses and kill you with them. Then hang your bodies on it and deliver it to your families'' front doors! Christian: I put myself in this human form on purpose. The truth is, I''m a Level 1 Dream walker of the phoenix pathway! Now come to think about it, your dad wasn''t born with a dream core. He''s considered an "Anomaly," correct? Now come to think of it... Anima: Shit. Before Christian could Before Christian could shoot the crosses, some sort of black portal would open in the space. Someone walked out. He wore a black bomber jacket, was 6 feet 9 inches tall, wore a black hoodie, had white shoes, had black pants on, but had bandages covering his hand and his face wrapped all around it with both his hands in his pockets. The 4 crosses would be instantly destroyed. Everyone had a shocked expression. Anima: Malachi...? Eros: Let''s go. Vera: Oh my goodness, he is here. Alexander: Damn dawg, that was unexpected. Elio: Please don''t slap my ass again. Malachi: Oh well. Suddenly, a black bubble of energy would wrap around Anima and his friends. Anima: Hey, what are you...? Malachi: Don''t worry, this is for your safety. All of Anima''s friends would be wrapped around this black bubble. Malachi would then make it as small as an atom. He would then use his thumb and his other finger to make this small black square and put the atomized bubble in there. Christian: What''s with all this mana coming towards you? Malachi: You''re level 1, correct? Christian: You''re also level 1, but you''re so young. That''s impossible for what I can see. You''re only 3 years older than Anima. Malachi: You would be correct on that. Christian: Who are you, and you''re part of the Basilisk pathway as well? Malachi: Enough talk. Shall we? All of a sudden, a purple aura was around Malachi, and he suddenly started transforming. He would transform into a large black serpent with white eyes. The serpent would look a bit like a dragon. The Basilisk would destroy the church''s roof. Christen: A Basilisk! Christian: FINE! FINE! FINE! FINE! FINE! FINE! FINE! THIS IS SO FINE! All of a sudden, white light started cracking from Christian''s body. Christian had a sinister laugh. Christian: HAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAH! Christian''s body would explode with light, and he would turn into this phoenix that was made out of what seems to be white light. The dazzling phoenix would stare at the huge Basilisk. Malachi: SSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSH! Christian: YES! YES! YES! YES! THIS SHALL TRULY BE A BIBLICAL FIGHT! Chapter 20: God fury Certainly, here''s the text with corrected grammar: **Cursed or blessed, it''s the big question everyone asked about Malachai.** **Some people say he was blessed, some people say he was cursed. Why was that?** Everyone was born with a dream core. Everyone has a bar with how much mana they can have. As they level up, that mana increases, allowing them to use more for vision, and other abilities they gain as their skill tree gets bigger and as they level up more. But Malachai was different. He was born with something so rare, only one other man was born with this "trait" or what people call it, a factor. He was born with "Lucian''s Factor," others call it a reverse factor. It''s the constant pulling of mana. It makes your mana bar go beyond the normal capacity. For example, if person A has a mana bar and it''s 100%, then Malachai would have a bar constantly over 100, giving him unlimited mana which he wouldn''t be able to access until he reaches level 2. This big mana capacity was also making him level up insanely fast. By the age of 17, he reached level 1, something basically unheard of. But even with this constant pulling of mana, the dream core can only handle as much as what your level is, making only some of the mana enter your core. But he was also born with something else: **An open core.** He was born with a reversed open core. An open core allowed him to actually use all that mana. When the constant pulling of mana comes, it comes to a stop when the bar hits 100. Since his gates are open, there is no bar for him. He constantly pulls in an unlimited amount of mana, making not only his bar over 100, but there is no bar for him, making him level up insanely fast in an abnormal way. Where it might take thousands of years to reach higher levels, he reached level 1 by the time he was 17. He reached level 4 by the time he was 12 and couldn''t access the shattered dream for another 4 years as he had to be 16 in order to do it. He was a dream walker at birth due to his rare condition. As a baby, he was forced to undergo the 5 trials before he could even wake up due to his gate being open. The trials started before he could even open his eyes. Only Malachai knows what trials he went through before he could even open his eyes. But that wasn''t even the curse. **Christian: HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! NOT IN MY THOUSAND YEARS OF LIVING WOULD I EXPECT A CHILD TO ALMOST REACH THE LEVEL OF A GOD! THIS WORLD IS TRULY FASCINATING!** Christian had become a true phoenix, his white light dazzling. It had blinded Malachai. **Malachai:** This is not very Christian of you. Malachai, who had become a large black serpent with white eyes. The serpent would look a bit like a dragon. **Christian:** A level 1! This is a true sight to see. Not many people in their lifetimes reach level 1. What''s even rarer to see two fight. The standers that were chanting were instantly killed off due to the corruption of seeing a level 1. The forbidden information instantly killed them. Two mythological beings were facing off against each other: one phoenix, one Basilisk. There can only be 2 level 1s in each pathway, making a total of 14 level 1s exist in this pathway, and two of them were facing off right here.Did you know this text is from a different site? Read the official version to support the creator. **Christian: LETS FIGHT THEN!** **Christian:** Vision ON **Malachi:** Vision ON They would both clash heads. A flash of light would appear. Everything would shake. **---------------------------------------------------------------------** **Back in the black bubble** **Anima:**.... **Alexander:** Hey Anima, you okay? You know we can''t even look at levels 1 due to the forbidden knowledge. Thank god Malachai was there. He saved our lives right on time. We would have been dead the second Christian went to his real level. We all would have instantly died. **Elio:** Talk about a crazy cult leader, but I would have survived regardless. You know why? Because I''m the Main C- **Elio** tries to bring up the mood but fails. **Vera:** Please shut the fuck up, Elio. Vera had a serious expression on her face with her eyes getting darker. **Eros:** I don''t think it''s that. It''s what Christian said... You know what, never mind. Anima has a spaced-out face then comes back to reality. **Anima:** Guys, it''s fine, really. It''s whatever. He probably just taunting me. Who cares? Anyways, how do we get out of this place anyways? **Alexander:** We just have to pray that Malachai wins. And if he doesn''t, well, we''re dead to put it brutally. Hey, he got this. **Eros:** We just got to pray and believe. That''s the only thing we can do in our current situation. **Elio:** Well guys, stop being so down anyways. It isn''t going to help Malachi for us being so down. Let''s just stay here and cheer him on. **Alexander:** He''s right, guys. Let''s cheer him on. **-------------------------------------------------------------------------------** A phoenix and a Basilisk, two mythological beings staring each other in the eyes. Malachi and Christian. Two people who were on the brink of godhood. Only one could come out alive. A battle between two who have mastered dream walkers. Only one can come out on top. Both in the dreamscape. They have entered the dreamscape now. The sky was purple, but everything was the same. They were doing perfect dream walking, completely submerged into their own dreams. When two dreams clash, it makes the dreamscape where level 6 and up fight to their full capacity. These people automatically entered the dreamscape when they fight. Being level 1, you''re completely into your dreams and less into reality. **Christian:** You know most people who even attempt to reach our level go mad. Have you gone mad? **Malachai:** Who knows. **Christian:** I''m sure you have gone mad. Even I lost my sanity thousands of lives ago. **Christian:** In fact, what do they say about you again? That you''re cursed and blessed? **Malachai:** You... **Christian:** That''s right. Your blessing is you could pull endless amounts of mana, almost an instant where others it takes a while for them to regen. Even as levels 1, we almost have an endless amount of mana, but you can even go beyond the endless, the infinite of the amount of mana you have since your core is open, you can use it. **Malachi :** That''s about enough out of you. Let''s wrap this up. **Christian:** That''s the reason they call you a blessed child. What about the curse? Oh yes, that''s right! **Christian:** THE REASON YOU WERE THOSE BANDAGES BECAUSE OF ENDLESS MANA YOU PULL FROM EVERYWHERE! HAHAHAHAHAHAHA! YES, YOUR CURSE IS YOU CAUSED THE DEATH OF ALL 72 MEMBERS IN YOUR FAMILY!** In that instant, the illuminating purple sky and everything surrounding it Fell into complete darkness. In that darkness, god''s fury came out. A deafening noise rang out Chapter 20 end Chapter 21: Between Me and you Certainly, here''s the text with corrected grammar: **A deafening noise rang out.** Everything fell into pitch black that night. The starry sky, the dreamlike sky, the church, the cities, and the world, the multiple universes and multiple planes, and the 5 planes of existence had disappeared, all into darkness, all into black inside the dreamscape. Almost nothing was left. The dreamscape had collapsed. Then bright light shined through. Then Anima had a regular dream. So he thought. The dream started out like this: Anima woke up in the middle of the beach. His house was at the seas and tides where high, and it looked like it was midnight outside. All Anima could remember was having a conversation with Eros, Vera, Elio, and Alexander, and suddenly white light shined through. _What happened?_ Everything was a daze in his head. _My head hurts like shit._ His vision was foggy. _What''s going on?_ His eyes were glowing. _Is my vision power on?_ Anima''s thoughts were all mashed, his head spinning like crazy. Everything was confusing; nothing felt real. Anima walked through the beach. He could feel the sand hitting his feet, the little water droplets hitting the back of his body from the sea tides. Anima decided to walk to his house. He could see the midnight sky, but suddenly he remembered a thought, a thought that sent him tumbling backwards. Yes, what that blond-haired man said to him: _Christian: Now come to think of it, your dad wasn''t born with a dream core. He''s considered an "Anomaly," correct? Now come to think of it, don''t "Anomalies" get executed on birth? I wonder how he slipped..._ Anima: NO _Christian: Oh well. But I will tell you something. Did you know your mom has been visiting your dad every night, but you have had no clue for the last 15 years of your existence? How sad and pitiful is that? Always yearning for your mother and her love, yet she never seen you._ Anima: NO, THAT''S NOT TRUE! Anima was yelling out as loud as he could. It echoed through the midnight. He slams the sand with his fist. Anima: He was just lying... that''s all. Anima tries to stand back up but keeps tumbling. His eyes still glowing. _Damn it, why do I feel so weak? Like I can barely stand up._ He didn''t understand, but he finally stood up. The tides raging, he finally walked up the steps on the stairs that led to the door of his beach house. He opened the door to his house and saw a bunch of people there, some sitting, some standing. Anima: Eros, Vera, Elio, and Alexander, what are you guys doing here? Anima: Dad? He could see children running around. _Wait a second, why do they all look so much older?_ He could also see some people he didn''t recognize there as well. _What the hell happened after Malachi and that crazy cult leader fought?_ Suddenly, he saw a short boy with brown hair stand up. ???: Follow me. _What the hell is going on here?_ Anima: What''s your name? The boy responded: Roman: My name is Roman. Anima couldn''t make sense of anything that was going on right now, so he decided to follow the little boy outside of his house back to the beach.Stolen content warning: this content belongs on Royal Road. Report any occurrences. The little boy pointed at the sea. Anima: Did you want to show me the sea? Anima hunched down and looked at the little boy in confusion. Roman: No, I wanted to show you this. Anima: Wait, what? All of a sudden, 12 stone pillars came out of the sea, 6 on both sides, and in the middle of them, a stone statue that looked like that of a goddess appeared with her head right under the bright moon in the midnight sky, illuminating everything. Anima: What the hell is this? As the boy went to turn to his right to look at the boy, he had vanished. Anima: Wait, where did you go? But as Anima turned around, only standing directly in front of him, His deep dark purple eyes widened. A sudden burst of bloodlust flew from Anima. He looked directly at another pair of deep dark purple eyes. Yes, this person had deep dark purple eyes, was about 6 feet tall, had long pink hair, was wearing a suit but as a cape, her arms weren''t put through the suit, had a white button-up shirt with a black tie around her neck, had black pants and normal black shoes, she had red crimson nails, she had smooth white skin, her hair was blowing through the ocean breeze as the tides were calming down. She had this beautiful ring on her ring finger that had this big red diamond on it, shaped like a heart. Yes, the person was Valeria Augustus. Anima Augustus and Soulani Augustus, yes, that was their last name. There''s a reason why no one ever states their last name, but that''s for another time. Anima: Mom? Valeria: How long has it been, Anima? Anima: So what he was saying was true? Anima whispered under his breath with his face engulfed in rage. Anima: Why are you showing up now? He squeezed his fist. Anima: WHY? He screamed at his mother. Valeria: I know you''re mad, but let me explain myself. Anima: What''s there to explain? You abandoned me. Valeria: That''s not true. There''s a lot I want to tell you. Anima: This isn''t a dream, but I know I''m not in reality. So where am I right now? Valeria: This place, it''s your soul or your dream world, Anima. You''re currently doing a partial perfect dream walk. Anima: What? Valeria: Listen, there''s a lot I need to tell you, but I don''t have time to explain. So forgive me for the short visit. Anima: What? WAIT! Anima: I''m finally talking to you after so long, and you''re just going to abandon me again! Anima: WHY!? That''s all I want to know. Why did you leave me? Why? Why? Why? Why? Why? Why? Why? Why? WHY! Valeria: I promise everything will be explained. We will meet again. Anima: WAIT! Valeria: Until then, stay safe! Valeria: Also, between me and you, I love you so much, Anima, my dear child. Valeria showed a big smile and disappeared. Anima woke up. Soulani: Anima, you good? Anima woke up in a daze in his bed. _Did I just dream walk almost perfectly? And if I just woke up here, that means Malachi won._ Anima was staring out into space, thinking about his mother''s words and the words of that priest in the church. Soulani: Anima, hello, Anima. Soulani waved at his son, his face in a confused expression. Anima: Oh, sorry, Dad. Um, what happened to Malachi and the others? Soulani: Oh, don''t worry, Malachi dropped you and others back home. Anima checks his phone and sees his messages and sees a text from Malachi. The text: As expected, I won, but never do some ************************************ (A series of very violent and aggressive) you understand. Anima texted back saying, "Yeah, that''s my bad." Anima: Hey, Dad. Soulani: What''s up, son? Anima: Between me and you, can we have a talk? --- _Hmm, uhh, ugh, cough, cough._ Christian was spitting out blood from his mouth. His body was barely intact. His torso from his upper body was detached. His arms and everything else had holes in them. His eyes were bleeding red. Christian: I lost. Impossible. Cough, cough. IMPOSSIBLE. NO! MY Cough, cough. DEAR GOD, DREAMER! I SHALL Cough, cough. AWA KEN YOU Cough, cough. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! Christian: I lived through the 3rd, the 4th, and the 5th rejections, Cough, and I lost to a fucking Cough child. Absolutely Unacceptable. Cough. Christian could feel his connection to mana slowly disappearing. His life force draining away. Christian: I''m human again. That means he... Before he could finish what he was saying, a tall silhouette walked towards him. That instant, Christian felt a wave of terror and fear running through his body, something he never felt since he was human those thousands of years ago. A tall silhouette walked towards the barely alive Christian. Then he saw it. Two dark blue eyes pierced into Christian''s soul. A tall silhouette standing over him under the bright sun from the destroyed church roof, with short blue hair going downwards, what seems to be a metal left arm, a dark blue crown, a white button-up shirt, a black feathery jacket wearing as if it was a cape, black pants, black shoes, most importantly, Something was driving Christian to the point of madness. Six black wings going downwards. Christian''s: What Christian: What are you?!? Who are you?!? I DON''T KNOW YOU! Cassius: Some know me as a fallen angel. Some know me as the Angel of Abyss, as Cassius, the great Betrayer. Well, at least soon they will. Cassius laughed at Christian. Cassius: Look at the state of you. Truly, human must suck to be a human after so long, after you spent thousands of years just to lose your Dreamer shard, Level 1, that is part of the Phoenix Umbrella, something that you don''t come around to find that often. Christian could see Cassius holding a book in his hands. Cassius opened his book. Cassius: If you''re wondering where that precious Level 1 Phoenix shard went, Malachi took it. Most likely gave it to Vera, as you and her share the same Umbrella. Oh well, how tragic. Christian: Cough, I don''t know you! Cassius: Don''t worry, you all will soon enough. History does often repeat itself, does it not? Cassius: I mean, how pathetic. You lost to a child. That truly is unacceptable for a man who spent thousands of years to be on the brink of godhood. HAHHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHA! Cassius mockingly laughed in Christian''s face. Christian: You! Cassius: And to readers reading this, sorry you couldn''t see that godly fight on display. It was truly a sight to behold, a truly biblical fight. Don''t fret, you will see a fight even more grand than this one. Christian sees the book on the cover. He sees four words: Christian: E.O.A.D Cassius: In the state you''re in, you''re not much use, but your vision power is quite powerful and useful. I could make something out of you. Christian: STAY AWAY FROM ME! Cassius: You will be of great help to me. Thank you! The book opened, and the pages flipped. Christian''s body disappeared. Cassius: If you''re wondering what happened to him, don''t worry, you will see soon! Cassius: But between me and you I think I will end the chapter now. Chapter 21 end Chapter 22: The Opposer (Part 1) **A breeze went through the air as the uppermost conversation began between Anima and his dad.** **Anima:** So it was all true. **Soulani:** Yes, I''m sorry. I don''t know what to say. If you have any questions, feel free to ask. Anima could only sit there silently, trying to understand what was going on. He would answer a couple of questions, then three questions came into his mind. But the first question would bother him the most: what Christian said to him about his dad being the "Anomaly." He didn''t know what it meant, what it was, or why people considered anomalies to be executed. **Anima:** I have a question. Why did Christian call you the "Anomaly"? What does that even mean? What did he mean that you were not "born without a dream core" and get executed at birth? What the fuck does all this mean? **Soulani:** Let me tell you a story. **Anima:** A story? **Soulani:** Yes, a story. The reason why we, people who weren''t born with dream cores, are considered dangerous and unfit to live and considered "Anomalies." **Soulani:** I won''t go into full detail to cover it, but Mr. Arakin should teach you about it after you learn the last four Rejections, as this story happens during the fifth Rejection.Unauthorized reproduction: this story has been taken without approval. Report sightings. **Anima:** Hmm, okay. So Soulani would start narrating the story to Anima. This story takes place during the fifth Rejection, or the last Rejection that has happened so far. There would be an innocent boy who wasn''t born with a dream core, who wasn''t shined by the light of God. This story takes place a couple of hundred years ago when the fifth Rejection happened and still has an effect on the world today. A boy would be born without a dream core. Before anyone could know, this boy would change the course of history as we know it. Before this boy was born, being born without a dream core was fine after the third Rejections when humans learned how to dream walk during the great war between angels and demons. But before the third Rejection, every human would be born with a dream core. We just didn''t know and didn''t learn how to dream walk until then. After the third Rejection, doctors would examine babies at birth and check for dream cores and see some babies weren''t born with it. This was fine, but doctors would eventually name them anomalies as the percentage to be born without a dream core was 2 in 10 billion people, an extremely rare thing. It still has been an unexplainable phenomenon, but high-level dream walkers say it''s because "God''s light doesn''t shine on them," which, if being born with a dream core is a blessing from God, it would make sense. People would belittle people who weren''t born with dream cores, and they would be looked down upon in society, but never executed until he was born: the man who changed everything. His name would be Luther Carlos. He would be born with hair and grey eyes. Nobody would think much of it, even just some strange case as someone born without a dream core, another "Anomaly." But that wouldn''t just be a normal case for this boy. He would walk west. Little did anyone know that in only 20 years, this boy would eventually be a man who would oppose all the gods and oppose the entire world and take the world for himself. Chapter 22 end Chapter 23 The Opposer (Part 2) Two parents would have a child born on September 7th, 1820, during fall. The dad''s name would be Jacob Carlos and Lisa Carlos. They would have a child born with grey eyes and white hair. Lisa: Let''s name him Luther Carlos. Jacob: That''s a beautiful name. Luther: Waaaa waaaa waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa Lisa: Look at those grey eyes, they''re so shiny. Luther: Grey eyes, those eyes look like they would oppose the world. The doctors would eventually find out he would be one of these anomalies, even though his parents were born with dream cores. They never became dream walkers and instead, just like many other people, pursued normal careers and had normal lives. Doctor: Seems like he isn''t born with a dream core. He seems to be an "anomaly." Lisa: Oh well, that''s fine. We weren''t planning for him to be a dream walker anyway; it''s just too dangerous. Jacob: Yeah, we were hoping to make him inherit our farm. We know he was just born, but we want him to have a secure life. Doctor: Well, that''s fine. It''s rare, but hey, I''ll tell you this: some people say it''s a blessing that you aren''t born with a dream core since it makes you more human. Lisa: Well, it''s fine. I''m just happy we have such a beautiful baby boy. It makes us so proud. Jacob: Yes, thanks for your service. They would leave the doctor''s office. Anima: Wait, how do you know all of this? Soulani: What do you mean? Anima: Well, the info you''re giving is pretty detailed, like when he was born, his parents'' names, and even how he looks. Soulani: Well, to be honest with you, how I know all of this is because it''s from a diary I found when I was a child. Anima: A diary...? Soulani: Yes, when I was a child, I would go to that antique shop just across from us by the beach. Anima: Oh, that shop right next to us on the beach? It''s been there for that long? Soulani: Yes, it''s run by an old man. He''s been alive quite a while, in fact. He''s a retired dream walker. You could be reading stolen content. Head to Royal Road for the genuine story. Anima: Oh wow, so he must have been alive quite a while. Soulani: Yes, he''s been alive for a while. He gave me the diary since I''m an "anomaly." He thought it would help me accept what I am and give a different perspective on what it means to be an "anomaly." It actually helped me a lot. Anima: Oh, I see. Why did this old man even have this diary, if you don''t mind me asking? Soulani: Well, he''s a collector of old artifacts. Anima: Sorry to bother you. Continue with the story. Soulani: Anyway... The kid would grow up on a farm, but as he grew, he would start questioning the world. I guess the first sign was when he was five. It was a normal day, and he would ask a question out of the blue while they were both helping out on the farm. Luther: Mom, Dad, why can''t I dream walk? Lisa: Oh, sweetheart, we talked about this before. You weren''t born with a dream core. Jacob: Yeah, but it''s okay because the doctor said you were blessed. Also, dream walking is very dangerous. Luther: I get that, but I still have a soul. Soulani: Sorry to intervene, but there''s something else you need to know about anomalies. Anima: Hmm? What''s that? Soulani: Us anomalies don''t dream, like ever. Anima: What!? Anima said it with a shocked expression, his face like he was completely flabbergasted and in disbelief. Anima: You guys dream... Well, I guess it makes sense since you guys don''t have a dream core, but I thought you guys just naturally dreamed. Isn''t that just from the brain? Soulani: Well, yeah, no one knows for sure, to be exact. Anima: I see. Soulani would continue on with his story. Luther: If I have a soul, I could still dream, right? Jacob: Well, Luther, no one knows for sure, but if you haven''t been dreaming now, you most likely won''t dream. Luther: But I want to dream. I want to be able to dream just like the other kids. I want to be able to interact with my and other people''s dreams. Luther was born naturally smart and talented. He seemed to understand the world better than most others much older than him. Lisa: Oh, sweetie... Lisa would smile and hold Luther''s face and embrace him. Lisa: Being unable to dream is fine. You''re fine. And haven''t you heard? Dream walking is bad and corrupt. It''s really dangerous. You''re safe from evil beings corrupting you now. They can''t affect you. They can''t touch you. You''re perfect the way you are. Jacob: Your mother''s right, Luther. I understand you''re young and upset and want to be like the others, and you''re entering elementary school next year. But life isn''t just about dreaming. It''s more. It''s about living, exploring, finding connections, finding the person you love. Jacob starts hugging Luther and almost sheds a tear. Jacob: There''s nothing more than I want for you but to be happy and live your best life, okay? When you get older, you''ll understand it more. Luther: I see. I''m going to take Petty out for a ride. I''ll be right back. Jacob: Let me come with you. Lisa: (Had a big smile and waved at him.) Lisa: You and your father stay safe now. During that horse ride, Luther had a lot to ponder. But he decided to write a diary to keep a record of his life and his understanding of the world. It seemed like it would be the best thing. Luther would go home that night, and in his room, he would carve a design on a blank book. He pondered what he should name the diary. Luther: I feel like it should mean something. I know it will have some sort of impact on the world. Luther: I want it to be something I would be remembered for. Luther thought of where his life would be in the next 20 years. Luther sat there in silence for a couple of minutes. Then finally, the cold breeze came through. Luther: I think I''ll name it "King Luther''s Diary." Luther might not have known it, but his soul would. Chapter 24 The Opposer (Part 3) He would walk the earth. He would continue walking. He would follow the wind. He would walk towards Egypt at 16 to under the world to finally get it¡ªwhy do people dream, why do people fight? What was the goal of all of this? His white hair blew from the intense wind in the desert, but it wouldn''t bother him. He would continue to feel the harsh breeze. He would start walking towards the modern world. He didn''t care for what happened. He wanted to get it. He wanted to understand. White hair, grey eyes, blackish-purple armor, and his purple blazing sword. He would walk towards the modern world. Egypt was a place of worship, truth, freedom, fulfillment, but also untold truths left from the remnants of the great war. There would be a town called Maat Sesh in Egypt. But it was currently a group called _Ak¨¡dheeb ma?k¨©yah_ in a war with Maat Sesh. Luther would arrive at the town but realize it was in the middle of a war. He would see a hurt child. Luther: Stay put. Take this. It was a green potion made by mixing water and wind elements to make a healing potion. He would put it on the wound of the child. Child: Thank you, sir. Luther could hear explosions. He got a worried face. Luther: What''s happening? Child: There''s currently a war in our town. Luther: I see. What''s your name? Child: Lucas. Luther: Follow me, Lucas. I''ll keep you safe. Lucas: Okay, thanks, sir. The child would follow Lucas down the war-torn streets. Lucas: I''m looking for a temple. Do you know where I could find it? Luther would show a picture of the temple and ask the child if he knows where he could find it. Lucas: That''s the Temple of Lights. It''s famous, but it''s currently being held by _Ak¨¡dheeb ma?k¨©yah_. Luther: I see. Alright then, come with me. I will make sure you''re safe, don''t worry. The tale has been taken without authorization; if you see it on Amazon, report the incident. Lucas and Luther will walk through the war-torn streets and area. He could see magic blasts flying through the town. Luther: Tch, what''s wrong with these people? Why cause so much death and destruction? Lucas: It''s because they want the Book of Light that''s hidden inside the temple, but it''s in a secret area which only our chief can access, which we''re currently protecting from _Ak¨¡dheeb ma?k¨©yah_. Luther: I see. Why do they want this book so bad? Is it really that important? Lucas: From what I heard from my mommy and daddy, it''s because it has secrets hidden in that book. Luther: I see. Thanks for telling me. But what if I just end this war? Lucas: What do you mean? Like stop _Ak¨¡dheeb ma?k¨©yah_? Luther: Yeah, I guess you could say that. Lucas: I mean, that would be great if you could put an end to all this fighting. Luther: Where are your mommy and daddy? Lucas: They''re currently being held captive by _Ak¨¡dheeb ma?k¨©yah_. I don''t know where they are. Lucas: Also, be careful when their eyes glow. They use some sort of abilities. Luther: Dream walkers. Luther: I see. Thanks for letting me know. Lucas: So, are you going to help put an end to this and save my mommy and daddy? Luther: Of course, I will help your mommy and daddy. Before Luther could take the walk to the Temple, members of _Ak¨¡dheeb ma?k¨©yah_ would appear. _Ak¨¡dheeb ma?k¨©yah_ Members: Are you part of the resistance? Luther: Lucas, stay behind me! Lucas would nod his head and run behind Luther. Luther would see four men in normal grey armor. Luther: Resistance? Are you fucking kidding me? You guys are the ones raiding their town for some book? _Ak¨¡dheeb ma?k¨©yah_ members: Silence! If you won''t stay down, we will just have to use force. _Ak¨¡dheeb ma?k¨©yah_ members: Vision o- But it didn''t work. _Ak¨¡dheeb ma?k¨©yah_ members: What''s going on? Why can''t I dream walk- At that moment, Luther would pull out his sword. He would slice the air. Their heads would pay for it. Lucas: Si... Sir. Are you okay? Luther had walked towards Egypt for the book he had been looking for. He didn''t want to buy it, nor did he want to steal it. He simply wanted to read the contents of the book. Luther had grown frustrated with these people who invaded the town. He didn''t understand why all this bloodshed for what? Luther: All for this book. Lucas had a worried face. He could tell something was wrong with Luther. Lucas: Sir, are you okay? Luther: I''ll end all this pointless bloodshed at once. Luther''s body would start burning up. Intense pressure was releasing, with a purple aura coming out of Luther. The pressure would be so intense it was engulfing the entire town¡ªno, the entire world, maybe even further than that. Lucas: Sir, this pressure... Luther: Don''t worry. Only those who will get hurt are the ones that deserve it. Then, in the empty space around the purple aura, inside the enormous pressure around Luther''s body, numbers made out of purple flames would start appearing in the empty space. The number that would appear was 12, multiples of them around Luther''s body. Luther: Enchantment 12: Shatter the dreams of those who seek the blood of the innocent and refuse to accept that they''re guilty. In an instant, those purple burning numbers would fly from Luther''s body and scatter through the town. A flash of light would come out of Luther''s body. For a couple of seconds, no one could see. And... And... And... The noises of explosion, screaming, and horror would stop. Everyone in the town would close their eyes for a few seconds, not knowing what just happened. Lucas would open his eyes to see that man still standing. Lucas couldn''t hear the screams, the explosions, the horror. Lucas could see a serious expression on Luther''s face, even feel a bit of his bloodlust. Lucas looked around and didn''t see any more _Ak¨¡dheeb ma?k¨©yah_ members anymore. Lucas: Um, sir...? What just happened? Luther''s response would send a chill down the innocent child''s soul. Luther: They''re all dead. Chapter 25: The Opposer (Part 4) They were all dead. All members of _Ak¨¡dheeb ma?k¨©yah_ were all gone, disappeared from the face of the earth. No one knew what just happened, what miracle just bestowed this town, like some sort of god just intervened and saved them all from death. No one knew; everyone in the town was left confused about what happened. All they could remember was a bright light appearing and all of their enemies dead. They could feel a pressure coming from the northwest of the town, but the pressure seemingly stopped. The Maat Sash people, even if they did not know what occurred, all hugged in joy. The women and children reunited and ran back to their husbands. But even with no explanation, they believed their god had saved them from death. Maat Sash person 1: "It must have been the god of miracles! He saved us from this! This is the only explanation that makes sense! He finally answered our prayers. The miracle man, the man who shines light across the universe, must have been the one to save us!" She said this with joy in her voice while tears flooded from her eyes. She finally believed the god of miracles had granted a miracle for them, the god they had been praying to for decades, the god that''s in the temple. Maat Sash person 2: "Yes! I told you our god would answer us! He finally granted us a miracle! Our prayers were finally answered! Thank you, God! For blessing us with this miracle, for taking the lives of those invaders, those who tried to take your sacred book! Thank you!" The whole town jumped in joy, thanking God. People started to rebuild; they even planned a celebration for the miracle that had just occurred. Meanwhile, a certain kid knew the truth, of course, because he had seen it beforehand. Lucas: "But how...? How was that possible?" Lucas''s mind spun, but he didn''t want to push the young man further. He could see a furious look on Luther''s face. He didn''t want any more pressure. He could tell something was off about him. His eyes never glowed, yet he used magic. Something was different from this man than the others who learned the art of dream walking, who walked to the corridors of realities that exist in our soul. Lucas felt a chill down his back that felt like it hit his soul, but after the shock came a great sense of happiness and joy. He saw Luther like a hero, like he was Superman who just came in and saved the day. Luther: "Sorry about that. Are you okay?" Lucas: "Ye-Yeah. Let me take you to the temple." Luther closed his eyes, smiled at the young boy, and petted his head. Luther: "You''re a good kid, you know. Here, hold my hand. Make sure you don''t get lost. After you take me to the temple, I''ll take you back to your family." Lucas nodded his head and took Luther through the town to look for the temple. While they were walking, Lucas asked Luther a question. Lucas, holding Luther''s hand, asked him this: Lucas: "Hey, sir, can I ask you a question?" Luther: "Yeah, what is it?" Lucas: "Why do you save people?" Luther: "Why?" Luther chuckled and smiled back at the kid. Luther: "It''s because it makes me feel good." Lucas looked back at Luther with a confused expression. Luther: "You know, before, when I was younger, I didn''t care about saving anyone, especially people I didn''t know. I thought it was stupid risking your life to save someone, especially somebody you didn''t know. But as I grew older, I started helping people more and more. You could see their smiles, their gratitude. The joy in their families'' faces. It all felt good. I couldn''t help but smile every time. Something in my stomach sprung up; my heart and my soul felt joy and happiness. Luther: "Even if you aren''t strong enough to save people, you could still help people, whether it''s giving money to a homeless man, donating to charity, even giving someone a hug or a wave in the morning. You can help people in many ways, even, in extension, save them." Lucas''s eyes glittered. He saw a real-life hero. He was amazed. Luther: "I have a question for you back. Why ask?" Lucas: "It''s because when I grow up, I want to help people just like how Superman or even you do, Luther. I want to save people! I think saving people is the coolest thing in the world! Lucas: "That''s why I think Superman is the coolest person in the world! And you''re the second coolest person in the world!" Luther couldn''t help but chuckle back and smile.Love what you''re reading? Discover and support the author on the platform they originally published on. Luther: "Thanks." They finally arrived at the temple. It was in the shape of a pyramid. It was made out of shining gold. There was water pouring from all sides of the pyramid and a long path of stairs that led to the entrance. Lucas: "We''re here!" Luther: "It''s beautiful." They walked up the stairs of the pyramid. And finally, they entered. It was just as you expected. The inside of the temple was made out of gold. There was a water fountain made out of gold in the middle, with water pouring out of it, and a shrine where people go and pray to their god, with a statue of someone on top of that fountain. Luther: "Who''s on top of that fountain?" Lucas: "Oh, that''s the God of Miracles or God of Light." Luther: "I see." Luther wasted no time and did what he came here for. Luther: "Enchantment 17: Show me the place that contains the principles of truth." All of a sudden, something was pulled from the ground. It was the Book of Light! Lucas: "The Book of Light?!" Luther: "Don''t worry, I''ll return it, but I''m going to return it. All I need to do is read the contents of the book." Luther opened the book and saw the first page blank but signed by seven names. Luther read them all out: "Mr. Miracle and Mrs. Shape Mr. Sin and Mrs. Rhythm Mr. Drift Mr. Phantom Mr. Adapt" Seven names were signed on that book. Luther: "Are those code names?" Luther had a confused look on his face. Luther: "The first two rows of names are probably lovers." Luther turned the page and realized there was a table of contents. Luther couldn''t understand it; it seemed to be in an ancient language. Luther: "Enchantment 1: Show beneath the unknown." Luther understood the table of contents, but one caught his eye. "Anomaly Walk to the west" Luther flipped the page to where this was. Luther: "What is this?!" Luther knew the book contained deep secrets; that''s why he came here, but he wasn''t expecting this. He saw something that looked like a compass. It had seven squares for north, south, east, and west. Luther: "This must be the mythological pathway where all humans go and dream walk." Luther could see north; the pathway was split up into seven different other pathways that all diverged from each other. Luther then saw south, east, and west, all with X marks on them. Luther then read the next sentence beside it. The sentence began with a name, a name Luther had been looking for his whole life. "Theandros" Then he began reading out the rest of the text. "Theandros was the man who reached above the leveling system of the mythological pathway. He was also the first human to ever relearn dream walking since Vigil. He created the mythological pathway by walking north. No one knows how he did it or what he did, but this is just one direction. The entire pathway''s true name is ''The Heavenly Pathway.'' Yes, Theandros had crossed into the heavens. If any anomaly sees this, walk west. The pathway is empty; there''s nothing there to block it. Become ALS for west." Luther: "This is insanity." Lucas turned to Luther. Lucas: "My mom told me stories of how every other pathway is empathy, but humans were not allowed¡ªno, it was forbidden¡ªto ever walk any direction other than north. You''re an anomaly, correct? If the book is true, then you can go west." Luther: "But how? I''m not a dream walker. How is that even possible?" Lucas: "You don''t need to be a dream walker to cross into the heavens. You simply need something that could dream... Yes, a controller." Luther: "What are you talking about?" Lucas: "Well, sir, the pathway is empathy. There are no rules to how you could walk a place that''s never been found. Think about it like this: imagine you find an unfound empathy land, never touched, never claimed. There are no rules how you could walk and how you should walk that pathway. Lucas: "Use me as a controller. I have a dream core. Use me to connect to the west of the heavens. Cross into the heavens, Luther!" Luther: "No way I can do that. Use you What happens to you then? I promised to return you to your family." Lucas: "It''s fine!" Luther: "No, I can''t." Lucas: "Please, sir! You can change the world! Think about the world, look around you! I was powerless to change anything." Lucas cried with tears in his eyes. Lucas: "You can teach people to be better. You can change the world. You walk into the heavens and guide everyone. You can make a system for dream walkers to understand, help people use their powers for good! You can take it all; it''s all right there for you, Luther!" Luther: "But what about your dream to become a hero like Superman and your family?" Lucas: "You can help people I never could. I could be an extension of you. Please, let me help cross you into the heavens!" All of a sudden, pathways made of light would appear. Luther would start understanding everything. Lucas would be the one to help Luther cross into the heavens. Luther: "No, wait!" Lucas: "Please, please, please." Lucas had tears rolling down his eyes. Lucas: "Please, never change the way you are! Please save the people from the evils that control the world! Make a difference! Make a change! You can do it, Luther! You''re strong, you''re a hero. You don''t need a cape! Cross into the heavens! Even if you can''t dream, you can still imagine, can''t you? Even if you can''t dream, help others understand theirs!" All of a sudden, a text message would appear in front of Luther. "Lucas has confirmed to be a Controller. Would you like to cross over to the heavens?" Luther had tears down his eyes, flooding uncontrollably. Luther: "Yes." Lucas''s body turned into light. It would flip front up with a bubble of light covering the body. The pathway made of light would flip. Luther: "Take me west! Take me into the heavens! I shall bestow death on those who do not plead guilty! I shall cross into the heavens and rule the world as a man who can''t dream! I shall destroy those who shatter the dreams of others! I shall kill the devils of these worlds and sit above it all!" And... And... And... No one knew what happened after that, what it looked like beyond the system. No one would understand what it even looked like achieving such power. It was never written in his diary. Little did anyone know... Luther, in 4 years, 6 days, 19 hours... 1840 September 7th, 11:59 pm... The 5th rejection would start... And... And... And... Luther Carlos would take over the entire world. Chapter 25 End Chapter 26: 3 Truths 1 Lie October 11th, 2050 Eros just returned from work to his apartment. He decided to grab a cold drink. Eros: Sigh, I''m tired as shit. Eros walked towards his fridge to grab a cold bottle of water, but as he was walking, he felt off. Eros: I feel like my head is spinning. Eros grabbed the cold water bottle and decided to pour it into a glass. All of a sudden, his head was spinning and hurting. Eros: I probably just have a headache. Eros then walked to his living room and sat on his couch. He turned on his TV. He drank his cold drink and left it on the table in front of him, near the TV. His eyes were blurry and spinning. Eros: Ugh, fuck my head. I should go take a nap. He laid down on his couch, but as his eyes started closing, he noticed his TV was on the news channel. As he was struggling to open his eyes, he could hear the news. News Reporter: A man was just found dead this morning in his flat. Police do not yet know who the attacker was or his intent, but Detectives Carina and Amal, who are on the case, suspect it to be the same person who attacked the couple only a couple of days ago. Eros fell asleep. But just before he did, he heard something. A speech? A chant? He wasn''t entirely sure what it was himself. But he heard something. _Purple mist and blackened tide,_ _A man who walks where time won¡¯t bide._ _With purple eyes that see too far,_ _A shadow lost where echoes are._ _He does not belong, not here, not then,_ _A whisper lost, again, again._ _The future is past, the past is the key,_ _A circle unbroken, a fate yet to be._ _Step forward, step back, it¡¯s all the same,_ _The echo remains, but so does the name._ _Turn from the hourglass, shatter the sand,_ _He was not meant for this broken land._ *The miracle man Eros would fall asleep. --- Anima: So what happened after he took over the world? How was he defeated? You could be reading stolen content. Head to the original site for the genuine story. Soulani: He wasn''t. Anima had a shocked expression on his face, but a very confused one as well. He looked confused, he didn''t understand what he meant, that he wasn''t defeated. Anima: Wh- What do you mean? Anima had a very scared and confused look on his face. Soulani: It''s been a big secret for years, ever since he was defeated, of how they actually took him down, but there have been a lot of rumors. The one the government used is that he simply died from old age. Anima: Died from old age? How is that possible? Someone who was strong enough to take over the entire world, and he walked west and became a dream walker even though he is an "Anomaly"? None of that makes sense. Soulani: Mr. Kiran will teach you about going "west" and all of that stuff, but how he became a dream walker even though he wasn''t a dream walker is beyond me. Anima: I see. Do you really think he died of old age? Soulani was hesitant to answer the question, but he answered it anyway. Soulani: No, I don''t think that... There was a long pause between the next words Soulani was going to say. Anima had a bit of a confused face. Anima: Hm? Soulani: I know he didn''t die from old age. Anima was taken aback a bit. Anima: What do you mean by "you know...?" Soulani: Since I''m an Anomaly, I could feel a connection towards him. It''s weird, but I know he''s still alive. Anima: Wait, he is alive?!? Soulani: Him dying from old age was a good excuse because Luther was still human, just like me. It doesn''t take thousands or even millions of years for him to die. He has a short lifespan like me and every other human who doesn''t dream walk. He still can die from natural causes. Anima: I mean, if he was born in 1820 and can die from natural causes, even if he wasn''t killed before, he should have died from natural causes. He should have been long gone by now. Soulani: That''s the thing. They did wait. He was about 120. He did live longer than human expectancy, but he even isn''t the longest living person ever. That would be Jeanne Calment, a French woman who lived until 122. Soulani: They knew he was about to die and at his weakest, so they jumped on the opportunity and sealed him, probably preserving his body somewhere. Anima: I still don''t get how you know this. Soulani: Like I said, it''s a feeling. Anima: I see. Anima: One last thing about Luther. Soulani: And what''s that? Anima: Was he a hero? Soulani chuckled. Soulani: Well, he did make the trial system and even the dream walker programs, and invited and actually got high-level dream walkers to become teachers. He also did much, much, much more. Soulani: I guess that''s for you to decide. Anima: My second question is, if you''re an Anomaly and they''ve been killing them ever since Luther, then how are you even here for me to even be here? Soulani: That''s the million-dollar question. Even I don''t know the answer to that. My grandma always told me that it was a miracle the doctors never noticed, which always never made sense. Anima: A miracle, huh? That was the power of Anima''s vision, the miracle. He still doesn''t know why he has this power, why his deepest dreams, his soul, manifested this. Soulani: I know it''s strange. Even I don''t know how I''m alive. I don''t get it either. But hey, I guess I''m here, so no point in going any deeper, just in case, to raise suspicion. Anima: One last question before I go to bed, and please be honest with me. Soulani: Of course. Anima: Be honest, what actually happened to Mom that night, and why have you been keeping it a secret that you''ve been seeing her for all this time behind my back? Soulani: It''s complicated. All I can say is your mom is fine, but she''s a dream walker like you, as you could already tell. She''s a level 4. She''s been in some difficult matters. I can''t say much. Truly, I wish I could tell you everything, but please, give it some time. Everything will be explained in due time. Anima didn''t say a word. He just went to his bed. He put his head on a pillow. But a sense of rage engulfed him, driving him nuts. He wasn''t mad at his mom or mad at his dad. He just wished he knew more, wished he could get closer. That drive would make him go further into the heavens.\ Chapter 26 end Chapter 27: Footprints Oct 12th 2050 The next day had come. Carina and Amal were home taking care of their newborn baby while discussing the investigations. Not only were they detectives, they were also dream walkers as well. Carina: So, do you think this was the work of a rogue dream walker? Amal: I''m not sure if that''s even possible, a dream walker going rogue, but it''s the only way to make sense of this. Carina: I agree. The two investigations happened in a couple of days, and both men had a hole on their head near their brain. It''s possible it''s someone who was maybe invading their dreams? Carina had an unsure look on her face. Amal: It''s possible. We have to look into it more, but with a rogue dream walker on the loose, this case gets highly dangerous, especially if we tackle it head-on and don''t know who we are facing. We have to tread lightly. Carina: I agree, but we still don''t know the intent. Jewelry? Money? Or is this just mindless murder? Amal: It''s difficult to know, but before now, we should be on guard, but we can''t let him keep murdering these people. We need to be fast and responsive. Carina: I agree. For now, let''s just keep looking for any clues. It was 1:32. The church that was destroyed was currently being rebuilt, but the construction site was clear. Everyone was on their lunch break. Someone walked into the building. His footsteps were dead silent. He had no presence, just like how small crumbles of dust will enter the building; no one would care and notice. His silent footsteps walked through the church into the middle of it. He was about 4''10". The figure was short. It had a round stomach. It was in a jester outfit. The jester had the colors red and blue, the entire jester costume, with the face being a white mask and yellow X''s on both its eyes, and its mouth covered in red lipstick. He looked at the ground into the two yellow XX''s where his eyes were meant to be, and stared into the abyss. Jester: I used to walk through divinity, a man of purity, light, and charity, a man of light and prosperity. Jester: Cassius, you took that from me. It''s about time you returned what you stole. I know you were here. You can''t hide from me forever. The jester grew constantly more angry and frustrated. Jester: May the abyss hold you within its chains. Jester: YOU DISGRACEFUL TRAITOR!!!!!!!! The jester''s voice echoed through the universe. But yet, no one would hear it. Central City, otherwise known as Miami, was a city that held many dream walkers, and the most powerful ones of that scene. The human who became the first dream walker since Vigil lived on top of the city in the skies, far away from everyone. Meaning that libraries here store a lot of history and knowledge about dream walkers. Amal was in that library looking for some books, more knowledge on dream walking itself. He wanted to learn more in case it might be helpful for this investigation and many others in the future. He was in the library looking at some books. One book he was looking at was called "Demon Myths." It was a book debunking demons from the 3rd Rejection. Nothing in the book stood out to Amal, as he already learned all about demons when he was in school when they were in history, learning about the 3rd Rejection, as it''s one of the units in school. This tale has been unlawfully lifted without the author''s consent. Report any appearances on Amazon. But something that would stand out to him. It would be on one of the pages; a poem would be written on it. Amal would not know who would write this poem, as there was no name on it. But the poem goes like this: The demons walk where shadows crawl, Yet beauty clings to each and all. Their faces carved from twilight¡¯s art, But veiled in horrors torn apart. They shroud their steps, they steal their sound, No breath, no whisper, none are found. A presence lost, a voice concealed, Yet in the dark, their grace revealed. And angels, bright with golden grace, Wear stolen masks upon their face. With voices high, their echoes swell, A chime of heaven¡ªsung from hell. They shine, they blind, they call, they preach, Their hands too soft, yet just out of reach. But silent hearts betray the guise, For sorrow gleams behind their eyes. Oh, trust not light, nor shun the shade, For truth is veiled and beauty fades. The fairest forms may rot inside, And monsters wear the night to hide. This poem would catch the detective''s attention. He would check out the book. It was starting to get dark outside. The sky was twilight, and Amal was walking back home. He had just texted Carina that he was coming back home and telling her to prepare dinner. As he was walking through, he walked by the church. Amal: I see, that''s the church that the roof was randomly destroyed, but I see cracks everywhere. All of a sudden, Amal would get a feeling in his stomach like it was turning. Amal felt like something was off. Amal: Vision on! He would start dream walking. His vision would be called "Seeker." It could seek things that are off or don''t "exist" or did exist but were moved (Examples: screams, footprints, missing presence, blood that was once there, things that were once there, or the seeker could seek things that are out of normal). Amal hadn''t thought of it before; he should have used his vision during the first two investigations. Then, Then, Then, He would see something terrifying. --- Vera was in her pajamas, ready to go to sleep. Her parents were wealthy, so she had a big bedroom. She was there trying to sleep but couldn''t. It was 11 pm. Vera: Ahhhhh, I''m so tired. Vera would be thinking about Anima. She would make a flustered face. Vera: Nooooooooooooooo! STAWWPPP BRAIN STAWPP IT RIGHT NOW! Vera: I can''t be thinking about him during this time, or I''ll get... Vera would put her hand below her stomach. Her cheeks would turn red. Vera: Oh jeez, not again. She would feel this fuzzy and funny feeling where her crotch was. Vera: Ahhh, I can''t sleep, things!!! She would open her window and jump out of her bedroom. Her house was on a hill that Anima''s house was below, where his beach house was. All she had to do was cross one street. She would cross it and see the stairs that led down to the beach. Vera: I shouldn''t be doing this. What''s wrong with me? She would walk down the stairs. Her feet could feel the cold sand. She would walk to Anima''s house, which was just a couple of seconds away. She could feel the tides as they were high, splashing the beach. The water would reach the back of her feet. She would walk up the small wooden steps to Anima''s house. She would knock on the door; no one would answer. Vera: Everyone is most likely asleep. She would look from the window and see Anima''s bed above the couches on a wooden platform with some stairs. She noticed the door was open. She opened the door and entered the house. Vera: Oh gawd, I shouldn''t be doing this. She would hold her heart to her chest. Her green emerald eyes would look like they were lost in love. Her cheeks were still bright red. She would walk up the stairs. She would sit on his bed. Vera: You''re so cute, Anima. She would then get on top of Anima. Vera: What am I doing?? Her heart was beating nonstop, rapidly. She could hear it loud and clear. Both her hands would be on Anima''s head. She would be towering over Anima. Vera: Ahhhh. Vera: No, I can''t! Vera then would stop and lay next to Anima on the bed while he was in a deep slumber. Vera: I should really go home. But all of a sudden, her eyes would start closing. She was starting to fall asleep. But before she fell asleep, She heard something. A chant? A speech? She wasn''t sure herself. Seeker could see tears on the sky, big red tears, like something echoed. Seeker could also see a dark red, menacing aura; it was the outline of something. Amal wasn''t sure what to make of it. Amal: Is that a clown??????? Amal: Or.... Amal could feel his legs shaking uncontrollably. Amal: Or... Is that a demon???????? --- Oct 13 2050 Anima''s eyes start to open up. Anima would yawn as he stretched his arms, opened up, and looked at his roof. Anima: Another day. Anima thought of yesterday and what his dad said. Anima: I have a feeling he was lying in one of those. Anima: Oh well. Anima checks his phone to see the time is 8:30. Anima: Okay, I didn''t wake up too late, so not that bad. But Anima turned around to his left. He could see a woman. Green eyes, long yellow hair, and a large chest. Her lip gloss was sparkly, shining. Anima: Wh- WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT!!!!!!!!!! Anima''s face turned red and an embarrassed look was on his face. Anima shouted through the house. Anima''s dad was upstairs in his room on his phone. Soulani shouted from his room upstairs. Soulani: Anima, are you okay?! Anima: UH Yes!This narrative has been unlawfully taken from Royal Road. Whoever wrote this shit, fuck you._ Anima was just staring at Vera''s eyes awkwardly. It looked like there wasn''t a thought behind those eyes. Vera: _I FELL ASLEEP IN ANIMA''S BED. I FORGOTTTTTTT. IF HE SEES US LIKE THIS THEN OH MY GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD._ Anima: _How did you end up in my bed? Why is a Christian woman, devoted to her utmost faith in God, here? Why the fuck are we still in this position? So many questions to ask, yet..._ Anima: Your emerald eyes, they''re so sparkling and mesmerizing. I never got close to looking at your eyes, but they''re so shiny and beautiful. Anima: _Why the fuck did I just say that?_ Vera: Uh, ummm... Anima: _Well, shit, she didn''t respond. What now?_ Vera: _WHY DID HE JUST SAY THAT? QDSHUHUSADHSADJHSHJASDHJHJD AHHHHHHHHHHHHH IS HE CONFESSING? WHAT''S GOING ON? IS HE NOT GOING TO ASK WHY I WAS IN HIS BED? DOES HE NOT CARE? OMFG IDKSKDSAKKS ANYMOREEEEEEEEE_ Anima: _Only two minutes have passed, which have felt like 5 hours. Just give me death already._ Vera''s eyes would gaze up and down Anima''s entire body. Vera: _Oh my god, my heart beat is so loud._ Anima: _Why is her heart beat so loud?_ Vera: _I never noticed how dark the purple in Anima''s eyes is. It''s really... I don''t know the feeling, but it''s like I''m being pulled into him, like I''m getting closer to him. His eyes... it''s like I can''t stop staring at them._ Vera: Your ey- eyes, they''re really soul-pulling. It''s like I can''t stop staring at them. They''re like, um, really addicting to look at. Anima: _What the fuck is that supposed to mean?_ Anima: Uh, thanks. Anima would awkwardly smile. All of a sudden, footsteps would be heard walking downstairs. Soulani: Who''s ready for some bacon and eg- Soulani would turn around to see two teenagers in bed, one boy on the bottom, one girl on top. Vera: M-m-m-m-Mr. Soul, I promise you, it''s not how it looks. Soulani: Oh, uh, well then... Anima: Oh, well, isn''t this just great? Chapter 28 end Chapter 29: The Method Vera was at our house and while my dad served her food Anima: That makes more sense now Vera: Yeah.. Sorry about that Anima: So she just randomly passed out in my bed because she came to talk to me Soulani: Well if you ever need help you''re always welcome to come visit and stay Vera: Thanks Anima: Well then we should head to school or we''re going to be late Vera: Thanks for the food After me and Vera finished breakfast, we went outside of the house to go to school and to meet with Eros, who should be near the street from the hill. Anima: So you good? Vera: Yeah, sorry for that last night again.. Anima: It''s fine. I''m just happy you''re fine Eros: And what happened last night? Vera and Anima turned around, but Vera jumped and her face turned all red. Anima: Hey, what''s good, dumbass? Eros: What''s good, loser? Vera, why is your face all red? Eros was smirking the entire time while holding his book back with his arm behind his back. Anima: Get whatever horny thoughts you have right out of your head. Nothing happened. Eros: Mhm, I''m sure Vera: Yes. Yes. Yes. Whatever Anima said, nothing happened... Eros: Did you want something to happen? Eros''s smirk had gotten even bigger on his face. Vera: NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO Vera won''t bonk Eros''s head. Vera: Idiot! Anima: She''s more Christian than a Christian girl, for the mercy of the man in the sky or whatever. Vera would never come close to doing anything like that. Like, chill on her. I bet the least honest thought she''s had was killing a fly. Eros and Anima looked at each other and giggled. Vera: You guys! Anima stared into the sky for a couple of while Vera and Eros were talking. This novel''s true home is a different platform. Support the author by finding it there.
