《Vasundhara: A Journey Beyond Worlds》 Chapter 1 - My life In the early morning, deep within a forest, there was a peaceful lake and beside it there was a small wooden house where I had been sleeping. Now awake, I stepped out of my recently built home, started a fire, and set a pot of clean water on to make Coffee. Even though I didn''t really need it, I love a morning cup. As the Coffee brewed, I gazed at the tranquil lake, its surface reflecting the stars still scattered across the sky. The sun hadn''t risen yet, though it was nearly 6 a.m., and the two beautiful moons¡ªone white, like Earth''s, and the other bluish-gold¡ªadded to the breathtaking scenery before me. It was clear now: this was a fantasy world, and I wasn''t dreaming anymore. You guys are probably wondering what''s going on and where exactly I am. Let me start from the beginning. Hello, I''m Samir Chhimpa, a cybersecurity engineer from the vibrant state of Rajasthan, India. I have a passion for technology and the intricate web of codes that shape our digital world. Currently, I work as a security analyst for an American multinational technology company that specializes in internet-related products and services. My role involves ensuring our customers'' data remains secure. The company has a branch in Mumbai, India, where I work, but sometimes I travel to the headquarters in California. You can''t exactly call this company a bad place to work or black, but when things get busy, they get really busy. The long hours can be demanding, but the salary is good, which is one of the main reasons I stay. So, it''s kind of half black company. I grew up in a loving family that has always supported my dreams. My father, a farmer, taught me the importance of integrity, while my mother¡ªthough a housewife and quite religious¡ªhas always encouraged me to follow my passions. My older brother is pursuing a PhD in physics, and his relentless dedication to knowledge inspires me daily. Our family name, "Chhimpa," is traditionally associated with printing and tailoring clothes, and my mother designs women''s clothes in her free time. I''m 25-year-old and about 5''10" with brown skin, have black hair that are 8 or 9 inches long. My beard is always trimmed, with a slightly larger Mustache giving it some balance. I''m not what you''d call extremely fit; there''s a bit of fat on my stomach and cheeks, but I stay active enough to keep things in check. My face has sharp, defined features, and although I''m not the type to dwell on appearances, I think I have a pretty typical look that fits well with my formal clothes at work and my usual shorts and t-shirt at home. Though I''m an introvert at heart, I somehow managed to have a few close friends who are the life of the party. They often drag me along to their gatherings, and I enjoy being part of their adventures. I even host parties for them sometimes, because as their best friend, I like to share in those moments¡ªeven if I''m not the most outgoing person in the room. Cooking is another passion of mine. I have a sweet tooth and know how to whip up delicious vegetarian dishes that keep my friends coming back for more. My choice to stay vegetarian stems from my upbringing¡ªmy mother always told me it wasn''t allowed in our religion to eat meat. Even though I''m not as religious as she is, I respect her beliefs and don''t want to disappoint her. That said, two of my closest friends are meat lovers, and I don''t mind. After all, being vegetarian is my personal choice. In my free time, I dive into gaming and novels. Sometimes, I hack my games to finish them early, not just to win, but to experience the storyline fully. It''s not about beating the game¡ªit''s about the journey, the twists, and uncovering the plot. In a world that can feel chaotic, I find peace in the pages of a good book, the thrill of a new game, and the comfort of cooking for friends. When it comes to relationships, I haven''t had much luck. I rarely interact with women outside of my mother, who calls me almost every day. Living in Mumbai is fine, but sometimes I feel lonely, especially when I don''t have much going on. Maybe that''s why people seek partners¡ªfor emotional support. But since I don''t have anyone, I make do with new games, novels, or experimenting with new recipes. Today: - February 9, 2024 I woke up at 6 am feeling a bit down because it''s Valentine''s week and I don''t have a girlfriend. Well, maybe "jealous" is a better word, especially with all the couples around. There''s this one couple in my office whose sweet gestures could give anyone a toothache, even those sitting far away from them. Anyway, since I was up, I did some exercises and took a hot shower, though Mumbai''s cold is nothing compared to Rajasthan''s. For breakfast, I had toast with spicy Rajasthani garlic chutney and a hot and sweet Indian masala tea. I caught up on some news online; TV news these days hardly feels real. Then, I dove into a novel I''ve been following about a hero whose father was supposed to be king but was betrayed by his brother. Now the hero fights to reclaim his kingdom and free his people from his uncle''s tyranny. I''m almost at the climax. By 8:30 am, it was time to prepare for the office. I checked my fridge and found potatoes, tomatoes, onions, and some peas. I decided to make pea & potato curry with roti . ???????????????? Pea and Potato Curry recipe: - >In a pan, heat 1 tablespoon of oil over medium flame. (Using less oil will help keep the dish healthy. But using normal amount which is 2 and half tablespoon can enhance the flavour) >Once the oil is hot, add cumin seeds and let them splutter. Next, add the chopped onions and saut¨¦ until they turn translucent. Then, add the homemade ginger-garlic paste and saut¨¦ for another minute. >Add the chopped tomatoes, turmeric, coriander powder, red chili powder, chopped green chili, and salt to taste. Cook until the tomatoes soften and the oil separates slightly from the mixture. >Now, add the peeled, bite-sized potatoes and mix well to ensure they are coated with the masala. Saut¨¦ for 2-3 minutes. >Add the peas and mix them well with the potatoes. >Pour in about 1/2 cup of water, cover the pan, and cook on low heat for about 10-12 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the potatoes are cooked through. >(Optional) You can add 1/2 teaspoon of garam masala at the end and cook for one more minute to enhance the flavour . ???????????????? After making lunch, I packed it in a thermal tiffin box and poured some lassi into a bottle. I always keep ghee (Indian homemade clarified butter) hidden in a secret spot at the office¡ªit''s my little stash. Thankfully, my half black company has two refrigerators and a oven for employees, so we can keep our food cool or heat it up later. Once I packed everything, I got dressed: a white shirt, blue pants, and my classic brown boots, topping it off with my favourite watch that belonged to my grandfather. Since the office is close by, I ride my bicycle¡ªit''s good for my health and saves on gas. I do have a car and a bike, but I like using my bicycle sometimes. If you stumble upon this tale on Amazon, it''s taken without the author''s consent. Report it. When I reached the office, the first thing I saw was that annoyingly sweet couple feeding each other chocolate. I walked past them, pretending to be invisible, and made my way to my desk. Even my two colleagues, with whom I talk a little, had the same frustrated look on their faces as I did after seeing that display. We got straight to work, which, on a normal day, mostly involves bug fixing. Lunchtime was at 12:30 p.m., and I finally got to enjoy my delicious meal, along with a refreshing glass of cold lassi. It felt like a blessing. Work typically ends at 5:30 p.m., after which I head home. After resting for a bit, I usually go for an evening walk in the park, listening to music. Then I come back, do some exercise, make dinner, and spend the rest of the night gaming and reading novels until late. It''s a routine with different food every day, but the structure''s the same. But today, the time is currently 2 a.m., and I''ve just left the office. The reason? My idiotic, clown of a boss, who seems to do nothing most of the time, was celebrating his promotion by drinking in the office. And in his drunken state, he managed to spill almost an entire bottle of rum on the computer that stores all of our programmed AI software¡ªthe one that handles customer data and server files. As soon as the rum hit the system, work across the whole of India came to a grinding halt. Within five minutes, we got a call from the headquarters. My boss''s face turned pale, like he''d just been hit with the worst news of his life. Normally, I try to stay positive and avoid insulting people, but that son of a cheap bastard, that asshole, came over to me and my two colleagues with a grin on his face and said, "Can you three handle this and get it working tonight?" We honestly wanted to beat him to a pulp and crush his balls with a bat, but we kept our cool. Now it''s 2 a.m., and we''ve finally finished. We ordered food online, though calling it "food" would be generous¡ªit was just pasta and coffee. I had to drink a lot of coffee tonight, even though I normally avoid it, but I didn''t have much of a choice, today. I was too tired to ride my bicycle home, so I hopped into a rickshaw outside the office and made my way back to my flat. I couldn''t stop thinking about how much I missed home and my friends. The one good thing was that tomorrow was a day off, and the next day was Sunday¡ªso at least I''d get a full weekend to recover. Since I had way too much caffeine in my system and wasn''t feeling sleepy, I decided to crack open a beer. But first, I took a hot bath, washing off the stress of the day, and ordered some food online. I didn''t have the energy to cook anything. After finishing my bath, the food arrived: paneer tikka, masala papad, pakoras, and spicy chili potatoes¡ªmy mouth watered just looking at it. I cut some cucumber, onions, and tomatoes for a simple salad, then grabbed my chilled beer from the freezer. There''s nothing like a cold beer where part of it is slightly frozen inside the bottle¡ªit''s perfection. With tasty food in front of me and a cold beer in hand, I started to enjoy myself, putting on some music. After a while, I switched to some classic tunes and started reading my novel. I finally finished it¡ª the hero defeated his uncle, avenged his father, and claimed the kingdom. It was now 4 a.m. and having 7 beer bottles on the table, I wasn''t sleepy yet, I didn''t have anything else to do. So, I decided to find and play a game on my computer. I started browsing different sites, searching for something new to play. As I was searching for a new game, I stumbled upon a suspicious site called "classicaksongema.onion." The description boldly stated, "Play this game if you want to die." I couldn''t remember exactly when I started searching for games on the dark web, but maybe it was out of habit. I''d become so used to exploring the dark web for obscure games, and maybe a bit of curiosity fueled it this time too. I started browsing the site and found a game was made in 1984 for a classic keypad mobile phone. It was an offline game about a hero leading an army to defeat demons. The goal was to defeat seven demon generals, known as Asuras, and finally take down the Demon King himself, who had received a boon from a god. I found the concept quite normal maybe it was rare in 80''s time, though I couldn''t quite wrap my head around how a god would grant a demon such power. Intrigued, I decided to download the game. For a keypad mobile game, it was surprisingly large¡ª28 MB, which is way bigger than what you''d expect for a game made for a device with a typical 32 MB capacity. With no clue how to play it on my computer, I downloaded a keypad mobile emulator to give it a shot. The game''s graphics weren''t anything impressive, as expected from an old mobile game, but for something so vintage, it wasn''t all that bad. The character designs reminded me of early video game graphics, giving me that nostalgic feel. Of course, as always, I couldn''t resist the urge to hack it. I wanted my character to be overpowered from the very beginning, so I unzipped the game files and began poring over the class files, searching for the character stats and skill system. While hacking it, I felt a tiny bit guiltyfor the game''s creator but then it wasn''t like I was going to sell hacked versions, though. I''m not a saint, so don''t expect too much from me. I was just looking for a little fun. The hack took longer than I expected. This game was more difficult to crack than other similar games, and I could tell the creator had put in real effort to make it challenging for old-school hackers. It almost felt impossible for a hacker from that era to break it open. Whoever designed it had coded the game in seven or eight different languages, which was insane, I even had to use a translator to get through some parts. Eventually, I finished the hack, making my character insanely overpowered. Now it was time to play. The game started with a character creation screen, and I was surprised to see the option to choose between different races: Human, Beast tribe (the Monkey Tribe looked really strong), Vaman (Dwarves),elf, Devas, and Asuras. Naturally, I chose Human. The game defaulted my class to Warrior, which came with its own set of skills and powers that you unlock as you level up¡ªbut since I had hacked it, I didn''t need to worry about that. I already had all the abilities I needed. When it came to customizing my character''s body, I decided to model him after myself. ? Name: Samir Chhimpa ? Age: 25 ? Height: 5''10" ? Hair colour: Black (though you could choose just about any colour¡ªI''m sure there were all kinds of wild-coloured characters in the game) ? Physique: Well-built (much more muscular than I am in real life) ? Eye colour: I chose the option to "Change any time," which was the last one on the list Then, it asked me to select a world. There were six different options: 1. Medieval Era 2. Advanced 25th Century World 3. Apocalypse World 4. Galactic Passage Era 5. Superhero World 6. A World of Only Demons After a little thought, I chose the first option, "Medieval Era." A confirmation screen popped up with a chilling message: "You will start in a dense forest. Be prepared to die, as it''s too hard for you. Start?" The challenge immediately triggered something in my sleep-deprived, coffee-fueled, and slightly drunken mind. "Too hard for me? Yeah, right!" With a grin, I hit Yes. As soon as I hit the "Yes" button, the screen flickered. For a moment, I thought my computer had crashed¡ªtypical dark web nonsense. But then, everything went black. I leaned in, trying to figure out what was happening, but there was nothing I could except restarting the system, I grabbed my watch look at time it was 4.40pm and about to press restart button of my CPU when suddenly, my screen glowed, flooding my room with an eerie light. A deep, rumbling voice echoed from the speakers, vibrating through the air: "Welcome, Traveler. Your jourrr¡ crack crack crack." And then I heard some voice which sounded like someone was shouting in pain and before I could react, my vision blurred, and a sharp chill shot down my spine. I blinked hard, but something was wrong. My hands¡ªwhere were they? I couldn''t feel the keyboard anymore. I couldn''t feel¡ anything. Chapter 2 - Another World After some time, I woke up, staring at the sky. It was still dark out, with stars faintly twinkling above. For a moment, I wondered if I''d somehow ended up on the terrace, drunk, and fallen asleep there. I hadn''t moved an inch yet, trying to piece together the hazy memories. I pushed myself to remember¡ªfive or six bottles of beer, a lot of food, finishing that novel, and then starting a new PC game. But I didn''t recall coming to the terrace, let alone sleeping on such a hard surface. As I shifted slightly, planning to get up and make some tea, something unusual caught my attention¡ªa forest stretched out in front of me. I froze and looked around. All I could see were trees, and I was lying on a flat rock in the middle of what looked like a dense forest. My first thought was that I might be in some kind of VR game, but I didn''t own a VR set. I tried to process what was happening. How did I get here? I glanced up again and blinked¡ªthere were two moons in the sky. That''s when it hit me: I must be dreaming. That would explain everything. Maybe I''d fallen asleep on my chair, passed out from too much beer, and now my mind was just creating a vivid dream about the game. But for a dream, this felt incredibly real. The cold morning wind brushed against my skin, the ground beneath me was solid, and the smells of nature¡ªfresh leaves, damp Earth were unmistakable. I stepped off the massive flat rock, easily 7 feet wide, and wandered towards a nearby tree. When I touched it, I could actually feel the texture of the wood. Bark rough against my fingers, the cold moisture from the morning dew sticking to my skin. "How do I wake up?" I muttered to myself. I clenched my fists and tried closing my eyes tightly, hoping to snap out of it. When I opened them again, nothing had changed. I even slapped myself lightly, but the sharp pain that followed confirmed that this wasn''t going to work. I was still here, in this mysterious forest. I checked my body¡ªI was wearing the same green shorts, white T-shirt and slippers that I had on before. Nothing had changed. One thought crossed my mind: maybe if I went to sleep in this dream, I''d wake up back in my room. But the problem was, I didn''t feel tired at all. Another more drastic idea popped into my head¡ªwhat if dying in the dream would wake me up? But I quickly brushed that off. I wasn''t desperate enough to try something that extreme. As I kept looking around, my eyes landed on another large rock, similar to the one I had woken up on. When I walked over, I couldn''t believe what I saw: my entire computer setup¡ªmonitor, keyboard, mouse, and even my phone, charger, and headphones¡ªall laid out neatly on the stone surface. And next to them, my grandfather''s old watch. I hurriedly picked up my phone, hoping it would work. I pressed the power button, and it turned on, but the battery was down to just 2%. The time showed 5:23 AM, and the date read 10th February 2024. But there was no network signal at all. I scrolled through it for a moment, but before I could do anything useful, the phone died, the screen going black for good. Great. Now I was stuck without any way to call for help or figure out where I was. Frustrated, I tried turning on the computer, but as expected, it wouldn''t boot. So, I grabbed the one useful thing I had left¡ªmy watch¡ªand slipped it onto my wrist. At least that was still working. Now what? As I was looking around, a sudden chill ran down my spine. I quickly turned, my eyes scanning the bushes nearby. Something was moving within them. I cautiously approached, trying to see what it was. Then, out of nowhere, a small, golden deer-like cute creature emerged. It was slightly bigger than a rabbit, with a single crystal-like horn that shimmered in a faint blue hue. It looked really cute and fluffy. For a moment, I was captivated by its beauty. But then it noticed me. Its eyes turned a menacing shade of red, filled with fury. I suddenly remembered details from the game¡ªthe creature was a bloodthirsty monster, known for hunting and devouring people. Its mouth opened, revealing chainsaw-like teeth, and saliva dripped to the ground in anticipation. Without warning, it charged at me with terrifying speed, aiming to impale me with its sharp horn. I barely dodged in time, sprinting toward the large rock. The creature was fast¡ªunnervingly fast¡ªand it came at me again, but I managed to evade it a second time. Then, to my horror, the deer stopped and closed its eyes. A realization hit me: this monster could use magic. Panicking, I ran toward the rock, hoping to take cover behind it. But before I could reach safety, a sharp pain shot through my arm. The creature had conjured a rock and flung it at me with magic. My hand throbbed in agony, and I stumbled, unsure of what to do. I knew I had to fight back, but how? My mind raced. In desperation, I grabbed the HDMI cable from my PC setup¡ªit was about a meter long. I had no weapon, but I wasn''t going to die here. As the creature prepared for another magic attack, I sprinted toward it, dodging the rocks it hurled at me. With all the strength I could muster, I jumped onto its back, wrapping the cable around its neck before it could bite me. It thrashed violently, trying to shake me off, but I held on tight, pulling the cord as hard as I could. The creature began to choke, wriggling in a frenzy, desperate to free itself. I wrapped my legs around its body, refusing to let go. It couldn''t breathe, and after a few more moments of struggle, blood began to pour from its eyes and mouth. My hands and clothes were quickly soaked in its blood, but I didn''t loosen my grip until I felt its body go limp beneath me. Finally, it was dead. I shoved the lifeless body away from me, gasping for breath, my chest heaving. Blood covered my hands, and I could still feel the cable digging into my palms. I had killed it. I had survived. After the battle for my life ended, I sighed with relief, lying on the ground before slowly standing up. I stared at my blood-covered hand and the lifeless body before me. Tremors ran through my hands, not just from the physical exertion but from the stark realization of what I had done. This wasn''t a game; it was real. I had taken a life to save my own, and now I had no way of returning to my world, my family, or my friends. Guilt washed over me as I struggled to accept the weight of my actions. Tears welled up, and I sank to my knees, unable to hold back the grief and sorrow that engulfed me. How could I have survived by ending another life? I longed to be back with my mother, safe from this harsh reality. For nearly an hour, I remained there, crying and grappling with the harsh truth of my situation. The forest around me seemed to echo with the weight of my despair. Eventually, a resolve began to form within me. I couldn''t change what had happened, but I could control what I did next. I had to find a way to survive in this world and, somehow, find a way back home. As I sat there, lost in thought, a memory surfaced from when I edited the game''s files. There had been a menu with options¡ªsave game and exit game. With a flicker of hope, I whispered, "Menu," and a transparent, silver coloured display appeared before me. My heart raced with disbelief as I realized I could interact with it. However, to my dismay, there were only three options: player status, map, and game shop. The second and third options were locked, inaccessible to me. When I tried to touch the first option, my hand passed through the screen. Frustrated, I tried speaking instead, "Status," and another transparent screen appeared. If you spot this tale on Amazon, know that it has been stolen. Report the violation. I stared at the display, hoping for answers, but my initial hope deflated when I realized there was no straightforward way to save or exit this world. Despite the setback, a flicker of determination sparked within me. I would survive. I would find a way back, no matter how daunting the path ahead seemed. I stood still in the forest, gazing at the status screen in front of me. The screen was divided into four sections. In the first section, my photo was displayed prominently. The second section contained my basic information:
Name: Samir Chhimpa Age: 25

I looked at my status plate a few times, wondering about the titles: Free Citizen, Otherworlder, and Cheat Master. The first two titles made sense since they were probably given by the game, but the third title, Cheat Master, piqued my interest. Did this mean the cheat I added actually worked? Curious, I spoke, "Cheat Master." Nothing happened. I tried "Otherworlder" and "Free Citizen," but still, no response. After several attempts, frustration got the better of me, and I angrily punched at the status screen. My hand landed on the title Otherworlder, and to my surprise, it worked, displaying a description. I muttered to myself, "What the hell, now it works with touch?" Anyway, I started reading the info:
Otherworlder
"This title is given to those who have been transferred to a different world under the scam of a mischievous god who loves to mess with the lives of ordinary people. However, as you''ve been brought to this world, you are granted certain privileges, such as a Beginner Pack, which includes knowledge of Rasvani language in Jambu continent ¨C the land of berries which is commonly used in this land, the Map skill and the Game Shop in your menu. In the Game Shop, you have access to your personal inventory with five slots, which are filled with items from the Beginner Pack. Activate Beginner Pack - Yes/No?"
After reading that, I was filled with anger. Some "shitty god" decided to play with people''s lives like this? How did this so-called god even deserve that title? I didn''t know, but at least I had been given something useful. Without hesitation, I activated the Beginner Pack. Once activated, a massive amount of knowledge about a new language flooded my mind. I stood there, stunned, as my thoughts raced like a wild horse. I couldn''t believe it¡ªlearning a language like this seemed unreal. I tried speaking a few phrases, and to my surprise, I could comfortably write them out in my mind. After a while, as my thoughts settled, I realized I now had an entire structure of the language¡ªits grammar, vocabulary¡ªright at my disposal. I felt a rush of happiness and a bit of pride at learning a new language so effortlessly. At the same time, I couldn''t help but feel a little sad, thinking about how much I had struggled to learn English. Once my mind finally calmed, I decided to open the map. I opened the Map in the menu. It was at Level 0 and could be upgraded up to Level 15. Each upgrade required map points, and I had been given 1 point initially. To upgrade it, I''d need 1 point per level, and I could earn points by leveling up. After reaching Level 10 I will get another map point, I would need to increase 10 levels for each additional point. At Map Level 1, I could see a 1-kilometer radius, which was quite helpful. Next, I opened the Game Shop, which contained nine potions in total. >Three were HP potions (Low, Medium, High grade). >Three were low grade Energy potions: one for Mana, one for Prana, and one for both. >The last three were combined potions for HP, Mana, and Prana (also Low, Medium, and High grade). Each potion was priced in different game currencies, which could be obtained by uploading the bodies of dead monsters. I also had five inventory slots, and inside them were: 1. An Armor set with an Iron sword that could increase some of my attributes 2. Three books one in each slot: > The first book detailed Basic Weapon mastery & Fighting techniques > The second book was about Basic Energy Management > The third book was on Basic Potion-making. 3. 30 silver coin After seeing all this, I felt a bit relieved. There was something to work with. Since I don''t know about this world''s currency details then how much these 30-silver coin would hold its value, I was bit confused. After thinking for a while I clicked on the Free Citizen title.
Free Citizen
"A commoner human who is not a slave and does not have official citizenship of any country. Free citizens either live in country towns by paying outsider taxes or survive in the wild, dealing with monsters."
Reading that, I realized why I was in the middle of a forest. It made sense now. But it was time to see if my hack had worked. With a mix of excitement and anxiety, I clicked on Cheat Master. Chapter 3 - My Cheat Level up
Cheat Master The only person throughout the cosmos who holds this title is Samir Chhimpa, who bypassed nature¡¯s cosmic laws using his cheat. Now, nature is aware of this exploit and has corrected it, preventing anyone else from ever using the "Cheat Master" power or any similar ability except Samir Chhimpa.
Cheat Master Traits 1. whenever you receive any kind of damage, your HP will increase instead of decreasing, although you will still feel the full pain of the damage. 2. The more energy, attribute points, and skill points you use, the more they will increase instead of diminishing.
Cheat Items Created by Samir Chhimpa
  1. SSS Rank Warrior Guild (Kshatra Kula) ID Card: This ID card verifies only Samir Chhimpa under the alias "Veerbhadra", a fearless male human warrior. Veerbhadra is one of only 8 SSS-rank warriors registered in the guild. This ID card is separate from Samir Chhimpa''s regular guild ID that he will make on warrior¡¯s guild, meaning he can possess another identity within the guild under the name Samir Chhimpa.
  2. Ultimate Armor Suit: A powerful Black & Red colored suit of armor that includes a black long sword, a black spear, a red shield and a golden ring.
When I realized that the cheat I had programmed into the game had manifested as real abilities in this new world, I felt a whirlwind of emotions¡ªexcitement, disbelief, and a strange sense of relief. The fact that the rules of this world allowed me to maintain the cheat while preventing anyone else from accessing it was mind-blowing. The very thought of being overpowered boosted my confidence and made me feel safer. At the same time, a tinge of guilt gnawed at me. I had bypassed the natural order, gaining powers that others might spend a lifetime trying to earn. I wasn''t sure how I would use this power, but one thing I knew for certain: if I couldn''t become a hero, I definitely wouldn''t let myself become a villain. My hope of returning home was growing stronger by the minute. I was also in shock when I discovered that my alternate identity, "Veerbhadra"¡ªa name I often used in games¡ªexisted here, complete with a warrior guild card. I had created that ID just to get early access to SS-rank dungeons and fast-track the game, skipping the grind of leveling up with trivial tasks. Now, I had it for real, but I wasn''t sure I''d be able to use it right away¡ªI still needed to learn how to control my powers. The ultimate battle gear that was designed by me, while its original version which was a lot weaker, was an in-game product that one could buy or collect throughout the game. I changed its appearance and it looked incredible. The black and red combination gave off a powerful, dangerous aura. I was itching to try it out, so I quickly stripped off my clothes and started putting on the battle suit. It was harder to wear than I imagined. I couldn''t help but wish for an auto-equip option like in games, so I wouldn''t have to manually suit up every time. I decided right then and there that I needed to boost my agility, or it would take forever to wear this in a crisis. I could just imagine trying to equip the suit while some monster was rampaging through town¡ªI''d still be struggling with the armor by the time it was over! And I also thought that if I got diarrhea then how do I take it off quickly I am sure I have to wash it if that happens. After what felt like an eternity, I finally finished putting on the suit. Immediately, I felt an overwhelming surge of confidence and strength. I stretched a bit and remembered that the suit was supposed to increase my stats. When I opened my status screen, I was stunned¡ªevery stat except for luck and intelligence had increased a hundredfold, while my intelligence had gained an additional 40 points. I was unbelievably strong. If that deer-like monster showed up again, I could erase it with a flick of my finger. Excited, I clenched my fist and threw a punch into the air. To my shock, the force of the punch created a shockwave that cleared everything in front of me for nearly a kilometer. Trees were uprooted and scattered into the sky, broken into pieces. I couldn''t help but laugh, exhilarated by the sheer power. In my excitement, I jumped as hard as I could, and before I knew it, I was soaring into the sky, higher and higher. That''s when I started to panic. I didn''t have any flying skills, so why was I still going up? Then I realized¡ªit wasn''t flight, it was the effect of my jump. After a while, I slowed down, and from that height, I could see an endless expanse of forest, stretching to the horizon. But then gravity kicked in, and I started plummeting back to the ground. Desperately, I tried to think of a way to stop. I remembered the double-jump from games but that didn''t work, tried everything I could think of, but nothing happened. I braced myself as I crashed into the forest with the force of a bomb, sinking almost 10 to 12 meters into the ground. The pain was unbearable, like my bones had shattered. For a moment, I thought I was done for, but then I remembered my cheat ability¡ªI''d feel the pain, but I wouldn''t take any damage. When the pain subsided enough for me to sit up, I groaned, clutching my back. "My back¡ my back!" I grumbled. I checked my status and was shocked to see that my HP had increased by 20,000 points. Without my cheat and the armor, I would''ve been dead. I quickly stripped off the armor, swearing not to wear it again until I had full control over my power. I decided to stay in the forest and train before venturing outside. I took the iron armor from the shop inventory and stored the ultimate battle gear inside. Then, I put on the iron armor set¡ªit was simpler, with a black t-shirt, faded green jeans, an orange jacket, old brown boots, a red belt with a sword scabbard, and brown gloves. Despite the basic appearance, it looked cool and felt surprisingly comfortable and hardly felt any different. I remembered that it also boosted my stats, so I checked my status again. Sure enough, every stat except luck and intelligence had increased by 12 to 15 points. This armor was nowhere near as powerful as the ultimate battle gear, but it was a decent upgrade. I stretched, feeling my back pain ease up a little, and decided it was time to spend some of the attribute points. After all, I had plenty to spare. Now, I was staring at my attributes, wondering how much I should increase them. After a bit of thought, I decided to triple them. After all, I already had experience with boosting stats a hundredfold, so three times shouldn''t be too overwhelming. I decided to test it out by increasing my strength by just one point, to see if my hack really worked. It did. My attribute point went from 10 to 11 automatically. Satisfied, I started increasing all my stats. First, I brought my strength to 400, then defense to 400, and agility to 400 as well. When I got to intelligence, I noticed that my attribute points increased by 20 points while I only increased 1 point of intelligence. I was a bit shocked at first, but then I figured that intelligence might invoke some other hidden powers, which is probably why it required more effort to increase. Then I remembered that my ultimate suit had boosted my intelligence by 40 points¡ªmeaning it was worth 800 attribute points, effectively a level 80 item on its own. I was in awe. I raised my intelligence to 101 and noticed two things: first, after crossing 100 points, it now required 40 attribute points per increase. Second, I gained a new passive skill¡ªPhotographic Memory. It struck me that intelligence might be one of the most important stats. They say that a weak but intelligent person can defeat a strong man. With that in mind, I decided to push it to 106. I will not increase it too much as I am afraid that I will become like an old man who doesn''t have any earthly desire and always thing of doing things for greater good like a Spiritual Guru or Mystic Monk. Next, I turned to the energy section. Even though energy levels would increase with use, I figured it wouldn''t hurt to boost them a little now. I understood what MP (Magic Power) was, but I was curious about the other energies: Prana, Divine, and Abyssal. So, I clicked on them for more info. It took me a while to process all that information. MP and Prana seemed straightforward enough, but Divine Energy... that required hard work and willpower to cultivate¡ªdefinitely not my style. Abyssal energy, on the other hand, was terrifying. Just the thought of being stuck in constant anger, lust or greed gave me chills. I made a mental note to avoid Asura blood at all costs. Not just their blood, but Asuras themselves. This novel''s true home is a different platform. Support the author by finding it there. After that, I decided to increase both MP and Prana by 300 attribute points each. It took an annoyingly long time to click through all the increases¡ªwhat a pain. I wondered if I''d ever gain better control over this system so I could boost stats more easily. Still, I couldn''t complain. I could increase my stats without any cost, which was a huge advantage. Now, sitting on a stone, I thought about which of my skills to level up first. After a moment of contemplation, I decided to start with Appraisal and Storage. I upgraded Appraisal and Storage to level 1. At level 1, by simply speaking the word "Appraisal," I could analyse any non-living thing''s basic information. Storage gave me 1 cubic meter of space where I could organize different items into slots, and even create sub-slots, as long as the total volume didn''t exceed 1m3. Next, I upgraded it to level 15, which was the max level and it took me 300 points. Now, I had 301 skill points, and both Appraisal and Storage were at level 15. At level 10, I unlocked the ability to control points using voice or mental commands, which was something I really needed. At level 15, I unlocked Super Concealment, a skill that allows me to hide my cheat abilities from anyone trying to observe them. With Appraisal at level 15, I could now analyse anything, as the description stated. As for Storage, it had become infinite, and I could even name the slots and can control time flow of each slot differently. I can''t put any living thing inside the storage. Satisfied with the upgrades, I decided to test Appraisal on the deer-like monster from earlier. The result was as follows: After analysing the creature, I realized how valuable it was to have maxed out Appraisal. Now it was time to move on to the next skill. I chose Strong Body and upgraded it to level 1. Upon upgrading, the skill changed to Stone Body at level 1 and my body glowed a little, and the description said my body was as strong as stone and would become stronger as the level increased, also granting me 1% pain resistance. Seeing that pain resistance was part of the skill made me happy. I quickly upgraded Stone Body to level 15, and it evolved into Steel Body. My body grew stronger, and my pain resistance increased further. Now the skill required 5 points per level, but I upgraded it to level 15 again, transforming it into Mythril Body. I leveled it up once more with 50 points per level, and at level 15, it changed into Adamantite Body. Upgrading further cost 100 points per level, but I pushed on. The skill evolved into Sun Thunder Body at level 1, which I also upgraded. It was taking quite a while, and I was getting tired of clicking repeatedly, but then I remembered that I could use voice commands. So, I began upgrading by voice. After reaching level 15, the skill transformed into God Body, but now it required 500 points per level. I upgraded it further, and it became Lesser Celestial Body, needing 1,000 points per level. I maxed it out at level 15, and suddenly, a light emerged from the screen, scanning my entire body. It said something, but I was so shocked I could only catch the word "worth." Then it mentioned I needed 500,000 points to upgrade to Pure Celestial Body. With only 25,291 skill points, I decided to hold off on that upgrade for later. I checked the description of Lesser Celestial Body, which stated that only another being with a Lesser Celestial Body or above rank could physically harm me and I don''t need to eat, drink and even breathe with this body. It was also relief that I don''t have worry about food in this forest. It also stated that a Pure Celestial could kill me any time with his power that explained why it required 500,000 points to upgrade, and I would only feel pain when physically damaged. Could a Celestial really kill me, though, since my HP would only continue to increase? After leveling up my body, I decided to focus on upgrading my magic skills. When I used 1 point to upgrade magic to level 1, it unlocked a new section showing four different elemental magics: Fire, Water, Rock, and Wind. At level 1, I could use basic spells from each element, though their attack power was quite low. I decided to level it up, which now required 2 points, and at level 2, the attack power of the magic increased. By level 3, it needed 4 points. At level 5, I unlocked four new types of magic: Lightning, Ice, Plant, and Darkness. All of them, except darkness, required magic power to use. Darkness magic, however, needed abyssal energy, and it was locked, stating that I needed Asura Blood to make it usable. Each new magic type had to be leveled up separately, and they followed the same point requirement as regular elemental magic. So, I started upgrading all of them except darkness, obviously. I leveled up the main elemental magic to level 9 and noticed a pattern: the number of skill points required followed powers of 2. I pushed through to level 15 since I had plenty of points. At max level, I could use any elemental magic without restrictions as long as I can imagine, provided I had enough magic power. I now had a total of 156,142 skill points remaining. After staring at my points for a moment, I decided it was time to upgrade support and healing magic. At level 1, Support Magic allowed me to cast buffs that increased an ally''s stats by 5% and debuffs that reduced an enemy''s stats by 5%. I could also cast status ailment magic on anyone who was the same level or lower than me, and I could use healing magic to remove status ailments and heal basic damage. I can make basic barrier that can protect my ally''s and can be used as prison for enemies, it can prevent any energy to pass through and it can be broken by my enemy if his level is more than mine. After that, I upgraded support magic blindly until I reached level 15. It followed the same skill point pattern as elemental magic. At level 15, I could now cast buffs and debuffs that increased or decreased stats by up to 75%, and I could inflict or remove status ailments regardless of the level difference. My healing spells now included Heal, High Heal, Extra Heal, Area Heal, Area High Heal, Area Extra Heal, Perfect Heal, Area Perfect Heal, and even Resurrection. I can now control barriers freely and they will remain strong as long as I can put enough magic power, it can completely block every energy while lesser celestial being can put some damage so that I just have to use more magic to repair it but a pure celestial being can destroy it with his celestial magic. At level 5, I unlocked a unique ability: I could cast support magic on non-living objects to increase or decrease their quality by up to 1000 times. Once the magic ended, the object would return to normal, but any work done with a temporarily improved object would retain its enhanced quality. The reverse was true for downgraded items. I was in awe of this ability, hardly believing what I was seeing. Next, I turned my attention to summoning magic. At level 1, I could summon an F-rank beast. As I upgraded, the rank of the summoned beasts increased, following the same skill point pattern as before. By the time I reached level 15, I could summon anything from F-rank creatures to beings of Lesser Celestial rank. These beings would fight for me until my magic power was depleted, and I could dismiss them at will. Any being above god level had the choice to fight for me or not, but they would always protect me and absorb damage in my place. My jaw dropped when I saw this. After staring at the screen in shock. Now, it was time to upgrade taming skills. At level 1, I could tame any F-rank beast that wasn''t influenced by abyssal energy. I would also gain 25% of the total experience that the tamed beast earned. At level 2, I could tame E-rank beasts, and so on. By level 15, I could tame anything from F-rank to Lesser Celestial rank beasts, gaining 25% of their experience, but each beast needed to grant me permission before I could tame it. I was also responsible for feeding it and providing it with magic energy from time to time. With proper training, the beast could evolve into a higher rank. The skill point costs were similar to those of the previous skills. Now it was time to unlock the God''s Skill. I was excited to see what it could do. I upgraded the God''s Power Skill to level 1, but to my surprise, the minimum requirement to unlock it was either Steel Body or magic skills at level 5. At level 1, the skill granted a 25% boost to all my stats (except luck and intelligence) for 5 minutes straight. I began leveling it up, following the same skill point cost as before. At level 15, this skill can make me unstoppable¡ªI could probably jump to another planet! Satisfied with my upgrades, I checked my remaining skill points and saw I had a total of 287,182. As I pondered some practice to control my newfound power and magic, a white screen suddenly popped up. It read: "Congratulations on maxing your Magic Skills and obtaining Lesser Celestial Body. Divine Magic has now been unlocked. It requires 250,000 skill points to activate. Activate: Yes/No?" I read through the prompt carefully, then tapped "Yes," unlocking a new skill: Divine Magic. The description stated that how can I use divine magic and it needed divine energy to use any kind of divine energy. I wondered how that scammer god who sent me here would react if he saw me now. He''d probably be pulling his hair out. With my remaining skill points¡ª537,182¡ªI upgraded my body from Lesser Celestial Body to Pure Celestial Body. As my body transformed into Pure Celestial Body my body glowed and became pitch black and one could see stars and galaxies inside my body and after a while it became normal again. The description said that nothing in the cosmos exist that could physically harm a Pure Celestial Body, except another Pure Celestial and a Pure celestial doesn''t to need to eat, drink, sleep and even breathe to stay alive and Pure Celestial Body would not age and don''t die of old age. Illusion, poison, magic attack, physical attack, mental attack, weapon, Negative effect of abyssal energy have no effect on celestial body and a Pure Celestial Body user or Pure Celestial have choice to accept and decline curses and boon fired at him. With Pure Celestial Body, I can become small and big in size as much as I want just by putting enough magic power and prana energy. After reading the description it made me realise that how awesome I had become just because I cheated in a game. I was feeling a proud of my cheating skills and a little shameful that I had cheated with nature. There was currently nothing beyond Pure Celestial. However, while I had a Pure Celestial Body, I couldn''t use any celestial magic yet. Looking at my stats, I saw that both my HP and defense were now listed as "infinite" and even strength stat was really high. I was extremely satisfied, feeling safe and confident that nothing in this world could harm me anymore and I don''t have to worry about abyssal energy corrupting my mind, though I still don''t want to use it. Now, the possibility of me going back to my world is increased. Chapter 4 - Training After I finished adjusting my status, I started to stretch, thinking about exercising and practicing. I was itching to use magic, having only heard about it in stories. While stretching, I looked up and noticed that the sun had risen, warming the ground a little. The chill I had felt earlier was fading. I checked my clock¡ªit was 9:49 a.m. more than four hours had passed! I must have been so absorbed in exploring my new powers that I didn¡¯t even notice how quickly time was flying. I started to feel hungry, even though with my celestial body, I technically didn¡¯t need to eat or drink. Still, I like to eat delicious food and I was happy I didn¡¯t need to eat meat to survive out here in the wild forest. Being a vegetarian, that would¡¯ve been a tough decision. Now, I was thinking about finding some wild fruits. Since nothing could harm me anymore, I didn¡¯t even have to worry about poison. I remembered that while I was in the sky, I¡¯d seen a lake nearby. I figured I should head there¡ªit was about 1 or 2 kilometers away, near the spot where my punch had landed. Just as I was about to leave, I noticed the dead monster and thought about uploading it to the game shop. I went over to it and saw that insects had already started feasting on its blood and flesh. I uploaded it to the game shop, and as the body was sucked into the screen, all the insects were automatically removed. The monster earned me 100 shop currency, but unfortunately, the cheapest potion available cost 200 currency. I would need to kill more monsters. I couldn''t show any sympathy toward monsters that had been affected by abyssal energy. After that, I picked up my HDMI cable from the ground, went to my computer, plugged it back in, and stored the entire setup in my storage. I also stored my headphones, phone, charger, and even my watch, keeping only watch slot¡¯s time flow normally. I decided not to wear it since I didn¡¯t want to risk damaging it. I also stored my old clothes and slippers, thinking I¡¯d try to wash the blood out of them later. Now, I was heading toward the lake. I opened the map to see if I could find anything, but as expected, it didn¡¯t show much. I felt a bit disappointed, realizing I couldn¡¯t upgrade the map with map points since I hadn¡¯t included that in cheat. If I had known, I would¡¯ve added it for sure. Oh well, I guess I¡¯d just have to level up and deal with it. While walking, I had an idea: What if I used my level 15 appraisal skill on the map? Maybe it could reveal more details. I tried it, and to my surprise, it worked! The map showed detailed information for an area 1Km around me, down to the exact details of every tree. It even gave me the option to detect insects and bacteria. As I scanned the area, I found some bushes filled with multiple-colored berries. I hurried over and used appraisal on them. I found out that three of the berries were edible: Strawberries, Mulberries (Shahtoot), and Goji Berries, while two others¡ªIvy Berries and Pokeweed Berries¡ªwere poisonous. I collected all of them and stored them in my inventory. I took the poisonous berries as well since appraisal said they could be used to craft poisonous weapons and were ingredients for several types of potions. I organized the berries into separate slots and stopped the time in those slots to keep them fresh. It was quite useful being able to control the time flow for each slot individually. After collecting all the berries, I continued walking toward the lake, snacking on the edible ones. They were extremely tasty and juicy. I took a particular liking to the tangy flavour of the Mulberries and decided I¡¯d make a pie or jam out of them later. Curiosity got the best of me, so I also tried tasting the poisonous berries. The pokeweed berries had a mildly sweet taste, but they weren¡¯t even close to the others. The ivy berries, on the other hand, were extremely bitter¡ªI spat them out the moment they touched my tongue. If they didn¡¯t have any use, I would¡¯ve just tossed them away. While walking toward the lake, I noticed a glowing plant. Curious, I used appraisal on it: Name: Blueleaf Berry Description: A small, round berry with a distinct blue hue and shiny leaves. Effects: Restores 50 HP per second for 10 seconds when consumed. Taste: Sweet-tart Other Properties: Can be used as an ingredient in low-level health potions. Rarity: Common Location: Found near lakes and rivers. There were 10 berries on the plant, and I collected all of them, placing them in a separate slot labelled "Magical Berries" in my storage. After that, I continued walking, and after a while, I finally reached the lake. I hadn''t encountered any monsters on the way, which might have seemed lucky, but considering my luck stat, it didn¡¯t really add up. At the lake, I decided it was time to practice magic. According to the descriptions, all I had to do was imagine the spell, and it would work. I tried imagining water forming in my hand¡ªbut nothing happened. Then I switched to wind, trying to create a gust¡ªagain, nothing. I went through every element, but still, nothing worked. Frustrated, I kicked a nearby tree¡ªand it broke. I had forgotten how much I¡¯d increased my strength. The tree nearly fell on me, but I dodged it just in time. After calming down, I remembered there were books on magic energy in the shop inventory. I quickly opened it, retrieved the book titled "Basic Energy Management," and skimmed through it using my photographic memory. This book explained how to control MP and prana energy, and provided instructions for casting basic magic at Magic Skill level 1. It covered summoning magic, beast taming, support and healing spells, and using prana energy in martial arts. Surprisingly, it even had chants for spells, though the skill descriptions hadn¡¯t mentioned anything about chanting. There was no mention of divine or abyssal energy, but I couldn¡¯t expect too much from a basic book. Still, this was a treasure for me at the moment. You could be reading stolen content. Head to the original site for the genuine story. According to the book, MP is stored in the heart, while prana energy is stored in the stomach. To use magic, you have to imagine the power coming from your heart while chanting the spell. The chant felt a bit childish and embarrassing, but I was eager to try it and there is no one watching me. I attempted the basic water spell Water Wall, which had a chant in Rasvani: "O Energy, emerge from my heart, flow through my veins, and transform into water¡ªguard me with your strength! Water Wall!" As I recited the chant, I felt something flow from my heart to my hand, and suddenly, water emerged, forming a wall. I was so excited to see it work. The sensation of magic flowing through me wasn¡¯t exactly warm; it felt more like the sudden change when you remove your hand from an ice bucket and dip it in warm water¡ªconstantly shifting between cold and hot. It was a unique and refreshing feeling. After that, I tried a few more spells from the book, including Fireball, Wind Cutter, and Rock Spear. There were 10 spells in total, but none for lightning, ice, or plant magic¡ªlikely because they were higher-level spells. The only downside was the embarrassingly long chants. I couldn¡¯t imagine using them in public without feeling awkward. After playing with magic for a while, I started thinking about how I could use level 2 or higher magic. I remembered that there was a skill in support and healing magic that could upgrade non-living objects and enhance their quality. But how do I use it? The book only covered level 1 support and healing magic, with no instructions for higher levels. I figured I might as well try something similar to what I already knew. There was no harm in experimenting, so I placed the book on a rock and imagined the spell in my mind. I cast it: "O energy, emerge from my heart, flow through my veins, and transform this object into its ultimate form!" As I recited the incantation, a strong surge of energy flowed from my hand into the book. Smoke rose from the book, and I could feel a massive amount of energy draining from my body. When the smoke cleared, I was hopeful that I could now access level 2 or 3 magic. But what I saw shocked me¡ªthe book had transformed into the Ultimate Energy Management book, glowing with red and blue energy that spilled onto the ground. Quickly, I grabbed the book and made full use of my photographic memory to read through it. It was on an entirely different level compared to the basic book¡ªit couldn''t even be compared. I used Appraisal on the book, and it confirmed that it was now 1000 times more powerful than the basic Energy Management book, remaining that way as long as I continued feeding it magic. After fully reading the book, I stopped supplying magic to it, and it returned to its normal state. However, all the knowledge remained in my mind. I looked at the Water Wall I had cast earlier, still standing strong. Then I realized why¡ªit was still active because I hadn¡¯t cut off the magic supply. The Ultimate Energy Management book was incredible. It contained detailed information on MP, prana, divine energy, abyssal energy, and even celestial magic. The descriptions for MP and prana were similar to before, but the method of using them was different. According to the book, when you imagine energy coming from your heart, it becomes MP, and when it comes from your stomach, it''s prana. To cast magic, you simply need to imagine the type of magic you want while allowing energy to flow through your body. The amount of energy you provide determines the power of the spell. The same goes for prana¡ªwhen doing physical work or fighting, you need to direct energy from your stomach to the body part you want to strengthen. The more prana you use, the stronger that part becomes. You can even strengthen weapons by imagining prana energy flowing out of your body and merging with your weapon. According to the Ultimate Energy Management book, there are four ways to increase energy reserves. The first is by leveling up and allocating attribute points to energy stats. The second method is by wearing magical outfits that can boost energy levels. The third way is through drinking special potions that permanently increase energy. Finally, the fourth method is by completely depleting a particular type of energy, such as MP. When this happens, the body naturally adapts and increases the total MP capacity by 10%. It all sounded quite simple. The book also explained divine energy. Once someone¡¯s intelligence reaches 200 points or more, a separate portion of their mind activates and begins storing divine energy. This energy is a more potent and powerful form of both magic power and prana, and using it follows a process similar to magic and prana. Abyssal energy, on the other hand, is a dark force present in every being. It increases as the body experiences negative emotions, and when used, it enhances those emotions along with the user¡¯s other abilities. Only those with Asura blood or monsters can wield it. Abyssal energy is as powerful as divine energy, but it comes with a price¡ªits use amplifies negative emotions. Finally, the book described celestial magic¡ªthe most supreme and powerful magic in existence. Nothing can stop its effects, and even nature bends to its will. However, to cast celestial magic, one needs Pure Ethereal Light Energy, which no longer exists in the cosmos. Thousands of years ago, this energy mysteriously vanished from nature. While pure celestials still have it within their bodies, they no longer use it. I was pretty shocked to learn about celestial magic and this mysterious energy. It didn¡¯t appear in my status, likely because it no longer exists. What could have happened in the past to make such a powerful energy disappear from the cosmos? Well, regardless, it was time to make use of the knowledge from this book. I began channelling energy from my heart, letting it flow through my body like blood, and focused my thoughts on creating an ice cube in my hand. A crystal-clear ice cube appeared, and with another thought, it transformed into a spiked ice ball the size of a cricket ball. I launched it toward a tree, and it shattered three trees in a line. I realized that anything created by magic needs a constant flow of magic power to maintain its form. For example, if I create a ball of water and then cut off the magic supply, the water loses its shape and falls like normal water. However, if I create an ice ball and cut off the magic, it retains its shape but weakens, becoming fragile like regular ice. Magic is necessary to keep it strong. I was satisfied with my progress. Now it was time to merge my practice with exercise and gain complete mastery over my magic. Chapter 5 - Training 2 15 Days Later, A monstrous roar echoed through the dense forest as six more creatures joined in, forming a circle around me. It seemed they were attempting to capture me, but I had no intention of letting that happen. I activated my magic, channeling all seven elements at once, and eliminated them swiftly. The first monster was struck by a high-temperature fire whip, which coiled around its body and pierced through its flesh, killing it instantly. For the second, I launched an air bullet¡ª50 times faster than a sniper''s shot¡ªthat blasted through its head, leaving no chance of survival. The third was sliced in half by my water cutter, its body collapsing in two clean parts. Next, I summoned Rock spikes that pierced the fourth monster''s body with twenty brutal punctures. For the fifth, I used plant magic to grow vines that wrapped around it, using the creature as fertilizer. The sixth was electrocuted when I unleashed a bolt of lightning through its body, turning it into a charred husk. Finally, the seventh monster froze in place as I froze the oxygen molecules in its body and surrounding air, killing it without letting it even twitch. Then, their boss appeared. A massive Gorgog, wielding a heavy rock mace, charged at me with brute strength. However, I was faster. Drawing an iron sword from my storage, I infused it with prana, making the blade glow brightly. With precise, controlled strength, I sliced through the boss, ending the fight. These were the Gorgogs I had encountered while wandering the forest. They were infected with abyssal energy, which explained their aggressive behavior. After using appraisal, I received detailed information about them:
Name: Gorgog
Rank: B Description: A frog-like bipedal monster with a muscular, greenish body covered in slimy, rough skin. Known for extreme aggression and a heightened sex drive, which drives them to dominate their surroundings. Size: 7-8 feet tall Abilities:
  1. Lethal Leap: Can jump great distances, causing shockwaves upon landing that damage and knock back enemies.
  2. Sticky Tongue: Uses its long, sticky tongue to ensnare and immobilize targets from a distance.
  3. Frenzied Rage: When heavily injured, its strength and speed increase dramatically, though it becomes reckless and loses control.
  4. Toxic Secretion: Excretes a poisonous liquid from its skin, slowly weakening nearby enemies.
The boss was an even stronger Gorgog, slightly larger and greyish-green, ranked A. I uploaded the monster bodies to the game shop and Disgusted by their appearance I had to wash my hands with water magic, and headed toward the lake. Where I had built a small house using both Plant and Rock magic. It had become my base of operations while I trained to master all my powers. After three days of intensive practice, I gained perfect control over every element of magic, except darkness. With my imagination as my only limit, my nearly infinite magic power allowed me to conjure and shape anything. I can also cast support and healing magic with full power now, which I tested on monsters. I even tried resurrection magic, and it works perfectly, but I don''t plan to use it often. Messing with fate by reviving people here and there isn''t a good idea. Healing, on the other hand, is incredible¡ªit can cure any disease, heal any wound, and even regenerate limbs. Next, I moved on to training with prana energy. Unlike magic, prana felt like the opposite¡ªa surge of raw power that made every cell in my body stronger. The more prana I channeled, the more my body glowed, and my physical strength increased exponentially. Combining prana with magic was difficult, but I kept practicing, determined to master both. After mastering energy control, I focused on martial arts. I upgraded the basic martial art book into the ultimate martial art and weapon mastery technique. Now, I know 150 offensive and defensive techniques, plus their counters, totaling 300 styles. I''ve memorized them all and practice them daily while channeling prana. I can use any type of weapon. I love using Sword, Spear, Bow & Arrow and a Mace. Using a Mace made me think that I am some kind of monster myself. Since I didn''t had any Mace and Bow & Arrow, I made them Magic. Using Rock magic, I summoned Adamantite metal¡ªa rare and powerful metal¡ªand forged a magnificent bow and arrows, which took a massive amount of magic. The bow had a majestic feel, with an Adamantite string that was nearly impossible to pull, but my strength made it effortless. When I pulled back the string and released it, it sounded like a thunderclap. Once, I enhanced an arrow 100 times with support magic while imbuing both prana and fire magic before shooting it. The result was devastating¡ªthe arrow obliterated a 3-kilometer radius, sinking the ground by several meters. The sheer destruction shocked me, and I made a decision to never use that much power again. Now, I stick to normal wooden arrows with iron heads, occasionally enhancing them with magic or prana. I could only materialize substances using Rock Magic if I had seen them before, and the rarer the material, the more magic power it required. Once, while wandering near a lake, I found a red-golden pebble. I thought it was some kind of gemstone, but when I used Appraisal, I discovered it was Adamantite¡ªa highly rare metal on this planet. Adamantite is an excellent conductor of magic power, though heat cannot pass through it. It''s also far heavier than any other metal, with exceptional durability and density, making any weapon forged from it a "God-Class" artifact. Reading this information left me in awe. Eager to experiment, I tried summoning it using Rock Magic. At first, nothing happened, but after a second, a massive surge of magic power poured from my body, and a chunk of Adamantite appeared on the ground before me. While training, I discovered two important things:
  1. My EXP increased even when practicing or meditating. Physical exercise, martial arts practice¡ªanything that tested my body¡ªboosted my level.
  2. Plant magic allowed me to grow any plant I wanted, regardless of climate. However, if I cut off my magic, plants not suited to the environment would die after a day. As long as I kept my magic active, they flourished.
With this newfound ability, I grew almost every food ingredient I needed, meaning I could make meals like I did on Earth. This discovery made me extremely happy¡ªmy food problem was almost solved. I made flour by using a rock mill, which I easily rotated with strength, and I also extracted oil using a large rock pestle and mortar. Since I don''t have knowledge of modern machinery, I had to rely on these traditional methods. For the salt, I was stumped at first, but then I tried using Rock magic to extract it from the ground, and it worked! I realized that salt is part of the Rock, so it fell under the effect of Rock magic. I can even generate saltwater by using water magic since the ocean water is a type of water as well and that falls under water magic as well. So, I don''t have to worry about my salt supply. One day, while training, I was wondering about this world and then I decided to use appraisal on the world itself. The first attempt only told me information about the sand beneath my feet, but after focusing more, I uncovered the planet''s details:
Planet Name: Vasundhara
Era: Medieval, with slight technological advancements. Geography: Sprawling forests, towering mountains, expansive deserts, and mysterious oceans. The planet is ten times the size of Earth. Inhabitants: Various species, both mystical and ordinary. Notable Locations: Mountain ranges 3-4 times the size of Mount Everest, large waterways, enormous forests, and even floating sky kingdoms.
I learned that I was currently in the Jambu continent, which was divided into four kingdoms. There were even underwater civilizations in this world. The vastness and fantasy of this world astonished me, and for a moment, I longed to explore it with my family and friends. But the reality was that I had to continue this journey alone, searching for a way back home. This thought made me sad, but I slapped my cheeks and regained my confidence. I began practicing again. After a while, I returned to my small lake house. I''m no architect, but I built a simple room, a kitchen, and a bathroom with a bathtub. I made the toilet outside, separate from the house. Sometimes, I sleep outside, and when it rains, I use support magic to create an invisible shield around the house. Watching the rain is quite relaxing. Despite the peace and comfort of this place, I knew I couldn''t stay here forever. Two problems weighed heavily on my mind. First, I needed to find a way back home. Second, I was missing something important¡ªdairy products. I couldn''t make milk, butter, or ghee here, and I desperately needed milk for my morning tea. I loved black coffee, but black tea? No, I needed that creamy richness of milk. Without ghee I can''t make most of my favourite sweets.A case of literary theft: this tale is not rightfully on Amazon; if you see it, report the violation. I realized I had to leave this forest and venture out into the world. But before I could do that, I needed to complete my training. My strength and agility are now on par with when I used the ultimate battle gear; my energy, defense and intelligence are much higher. My intelligence is now at 130 points and at 125 points I had unlocked the skill "fast thinking", it''s really helpful to make decision and I feel more confident with this skill. I can control my strength and body perfectly now, but I''ll need to practice more with the battle gear since I might need to use the Veerbhadra identity and I didn''t want to cause trouble by accidentally overdoing it while wearing that outfit. When I was about to remove my Ultimate Battle Gear from my shop inventory, the rain began to pour down. Since it was the middle of the day, I thought, "Let''s make a snack. Nothing beats Pakoras and Tamarind Chutney in the rain." Luckily, I had all the ingredients in my storage, grown by plant magic. For Pakoras, I needed potatoes, onions, green chilies, gram (besan) flour, cumin seeds, red chili powder, turmeric powder, salt, water, and olive oil. For Tamarind Chutney, I needed seedless tamarind, jaggery, cumin seeds, red chili powder, salt, and water. I headed to the kitchen to gather all the necessary cooking utensils, then stepped outside. I wanted to cook outdoors, under the rain. I had already cast a barrier so the rain wouldn''t disturb me, and it would also prevent the smell from attracting any monsters¡ªI didn''t want to end up fighting while making my meal. After setting up a fire outside, I began preparing the snack. First, I decided to make the Tamarind Chutney. ???? Tamarind Chutney Recipe:
  1. Soak tamarind in 1 cup of water for 30 minutes. Mash it to extract the pulp and strain it.
  2. In a pan, mix tamarind pulp and jaggery. Cook on medium heat until the jaggery dissolves and the mixture thickens slightly.
  3. Add roasted cumin powder, red chili powder, and salt. Stir well and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
  4. Let the chutney cool.
???? After preparing the chutney, I set it aside to cool and started working on the Pakoras. ???? Pakora Recipe:
  1. In a bowl, mix gram flour, cumin seeds, red chili powder, turmeric, and salt. Gradually add water to make a thick, smooth batter.
  2. Add the sliced onions, potatoes, and green chilies to the batter. Mix until the vegetables are well-coated.
  3. Heat oil in a deep pan. Once hot, drop small spoonsful of the batter-coated vegetables into the oil.
  4. Fry the pakoras until golden brown and crispy. Remove them with a slotted spoon and drain the excess oil using paper towels.
???? After preparing the Pakoras and Chutney, I quickly made myself a cup of black coffee. Using plant magic, I created a comfortable wooden chair and table. I placed the Pakoras on a plate, poured the chutney into a small bowl, and sat down to enjoy the view of the rainy forest. The rhythmic sound of raindrops hitting the leaves and the soft patter on the lake created a calming atmosphere, making me feel connected to nature. The cool, damp air brought a refreshing sensation, while the scent of the wet forest floor and wood seemed to heal my heart. The scenery in front of me was deeply peaceful and fulfilling. I picked up a Pakora, dipped it in the chutney, and popped it into my mouth¡ªit was delicious. I couldn''t help but think how much better this moment would have been if my family or friends or games or even my novels were here. But what could I do? It wasn''t in my hands. All I could focus on now was finding a way back. I even missed my masala tea¡ªit would have been a perfect match with the Pakoras. I had to look for milk once I got out of this forest, along with some clothes. Sure, I could wash myself and my clothes with purification magic, but I really didn''t like wearing the same clothes every day. Now that my little break was over, it was time to get back to practice. I retrieved the Ultimate Battle Suit from my shop inventory. Before equipping it, I decided to use Appraisal on it. As I cast the spell, a detailed description of the gear appeared before me. Everything was exactly as I had customized it, including the dramatic and meaningful names I had chosen: All of them retained the same incredible abilities I had assigned, and each piece of equipment was soul-bound to me, meaning no one else could use their powers. Even more impressively, they were linked to me in a way that I could summon them at will¡ªif I so much as thought about having the Shivansh Sword in my hand, it would materialize instantly, bypassing any obstacle in its way. The same applied to the rest of the equipment. The Divya Ring of Enlightenment was particularly unique. It granted me a massive intelligence boost of 40 points and possessed the invaluable skills of Curse, Magic & Skill Nullification. Not only could it cancel any curse or spell cast on me, but I could also reflect them back at the caster with just a thought. When I decided to wear the ring, something unexpected happened¡ªit merged seamlessly with my body, becoming completely invisible to the outside world. If I ever wanted to remove it, it would reappear at my command. Wow, this is so cool, I thought, admiring its seamless integration. After confirming all the details about my battle suit, I finally equipped it. Instantly, my status soared to its peak¡ªstrength and agility increased by 100 times, and my intelligence went up by 170 points. Along with the stat boost, I unlocked a temporary skill: Parallel Thinking, which allows me to focus on multiple things simultaneously while working or fighting. With enough practice, I''ll be able to make this skill more efficient. With the suit now equipped, I couldn''t help but feel a mix of excitement and trepidation. This wasn''t just gear; it was a responsibility. Power like this could change the course of battles, perhaps even the fate of this world. But would it be enough to help me find my way home? Now it was time start practicing with both magic and martial art so I can control my power. 3 Days Later: I was sitting on a rock, with two mountains of Gorgogs corpses beside me, including the bodies of two Gorgog bosses and three Sky Serpents. Early this morning, as I was about to make coffee, I heard noises near my house. Concealing my presence, I went to investigate. What I saw were two Gorgog bosses fighting each other for dominance over their group. Checking my map, I noticed three Sky Serpents lurking nearby, waiting for the fight to end. Though I could have easily killed the Gorgogs, but it was an entertaining show in the morning, so I focused on the Sky Serpents. Using my wind magic, I unleashed a silent, overpowered Wind Slash that cut through the three serpents. This technique creates a blade out of wind by manipulating gas atoms, allowing me to attack with precision without giving away my location. I can shape the slash however I like, and no one can detect where the strike comes from. Returning my attention to the Gorgog bosses, they were using giant rock maces and their immense strength in a brutal fight. Occasionally, they''d coat each other with some sort of body fluid. Their flying kicks were impressive too. I pulled some snacks from my storage and enjoyed the show. To spice things up, I cast some buff and healing magic on them, and the fight grew even more intense¡ªa punch, an uppercut, a kick to the gut. It was a brutal, exciting match. After some time, one of the Gorgog bosses died after taking a direct hit to the head with a rock mace. The fight ended sooner than I expected, but I chose not to use resurrection magic¡ªI shouldn''t use it for entertainment. The surviving Gorgog was celebrating his victory when I cancelled my concealment. As I appeared in front of them, all the Gorgogs were shocked at first but then rushed to attack me. With a single thought, I used Wind Slash to finish them off. Now, as I was uploading their bodies to the shop, I thought to myself¡ªI''ve finally gained full control over my powers. It''s time to venture outside. While uploading the Sky Serpents, I used Appraisal on one of them:
Name: Sky Serpent
Rank: A Type: Flying Serpent Element: Ice Threat Level: High Habitat: High-altitude mountains, cloud-covered regions, and frozen skies. Description: The Sky Serpent is an agile, flying predator with a sleek, serpentine body. Its scales shimmer in icy hues, and it strikes with blinding speed. Known for its deadly venomous bite, this creature can also unleash devastating ice-based magic. Highly intelligent and extremely fast, the Sky Serpent is feared for its cold, calculating nature and its ability to freeze opponents¡¯ mid-air. This monster has become stronger with abyssal energy and think any other species other than his own his enemy and attack them. They live in a group and use battle tactics to fight their enemies.
This Sky Serpent is a powerful monster, and its intelligence makes it even stronger than most other Rank A creatures. However, it''s still nothing compared to me. I would have spared its life if it hadn''t been infected by Abyssal Energy. This forest is filled with Abyssal Energy-infected monsters, though I''ve come across a few creatures, like rabbits and lions, who are not infected. I didn''t harm them¡ªthey have their own abilities to fight and defend themselves. Initially, I considered taming some of them, but I realized it would be a hassle to take care of them, keep watch, and transport them from town to town. So, I dropped the idea. Over these past three days, I''ve levelled up 10 more times, reaching Level 40. Now, I have full control over myself, even while wearing my ultimate battle outfit. The Parallel Thinking skill has proven to be more useful than I first thought. I can now perform multiple tasks at once, splitting my mind into two separate portions that work simultaneously. This not only increases my thinking speed but also allows me to solve problems from two different perspectives while keeping track of other things during work or combat. My mental resistance has also improved significantly. After collecting all the dead bodies, I returned to my house and began packing. Most of what I packed were cooking utensils. Once I was done, I marked the location on my map with a house symbol, maybe I''ll come back here to relax someday. If I do, I''ll bring a better house design and create something more permanent. This place has become tied to my memories. Seriously speaking I didn''t want to leave this place but finding a way back home is more important and I also want to explore this vast world. Chapter 6 - First Meeting With that thought, I finished packing and took one last good look at the place before heading toward the edge of the forest. Even though I could reach the edge in seconds but I decided to take my time. Recently, I developed a flying skill using wind magic. I can even fly at high speeds by enveloping myself in flames with fire magic or using Rock magic to erupt a piece of rock, flying on it with the help of wind and fire magic. However, I don¡¯t have a proper flying skill where I can soar like a superhero, I have to constantly use magic and focus my mind to stay airborne. Parallel Thinking is doing a great job of managing that. After flying for an hour, I felt the need to take a break and recharge. That¡¯s when I spotted an enormous Bodhi tree in the distance, standing alone in a clearing. Its massive trunk stretched towards the sky, its bark weathered and cracked with age. There were no other trees near it¡ªjust this ancient giant, towering in serene solitude, as if it had claimed the entire area for itself. I landed softly beside it, drawn to its presence. When I used my appraisal skill, the information stunned me: this tree was over 16,000 years old. For a moment, I just stood there, staring up at its sprawling branches. ''What stories could this tree tell?'' I wondered. It had seen the rise and fall of civilizations, witnessed countless generations pass beneath its shadow. I placed my hand on the rough bark, feeling a strange sense of connection to this timeless being. Taking a deep breath, I decided to rest here and take a nap after eating breakfast, letting the tree¡¯s quiet wisdom wash over me. For breakfast, I decided to have roasted peanuts and fresh orange juice. With wood magic, I crafted a sturdy table and set out some oranges and peanuts from storage, placing them in bowls. Then, using Rock magic, I formed a deep iron pan, added salt, and heated it. Once the salt was hot enough to sizzle, I tossed in the peanuts to roast. The aroma of toasted nuts filled the air as they slowly browned, their skins crackling with a satisfying sound. When they reached a warm, golden colour, I scooped them out into a bowl to cool. For the juice, I took out a hand juicer I¡¯d crafted from wood. Making it had been tricky, needing every part made separately and then assembled with precision. After peeling a few oranges, I remembered to add some mint leaves. Using plant magic, I grew a small sprig nearby, plucking off fresh leaves and adding them along with the oranges. However, I noticed something odd, I could¡¯ve sworn I¡¯d set aside four oranges, but after peeling two, I only saw one unpeeled orange left. I glanced around, then shrugged, thinking I might¡¯ve counted wrong. Returning to the juice, I poured it into a wooden glass and mixed in roasted cumin powder, a pinch of rock salt, regular salt, black pepper, and finally, the fresh orange juice. Relaxing in my chair, I savoured the light yet refreshing breakfast. The warm, crunchy peanuts paired perfectly with the orange juice, which was bursting with flavour. The cumin powder brought an Earthy richness, while the salt and pepper gave a pleasant kick, accentuating the orange''s sweetness. Mint added an extra layer of freshness, balancing the spices with a cool, crisp note. After breakfast, I felt satisfied and decided to rest my eyes. When I woke, I washed my face with water magic, stretched, and prepared to set out toward the forest edge¡ªa couple of hours away at a steady pace. I washed and dried the juicer, then moved to store the leftover peanuts. That¡¯s when I noticed something unusual that there were fewer peanuts left than I¡¯d expected. Perplexed, I scanned the area, my gaze landing on the trunk of the ancient tree nearby. There, a small bag made from leaves, tied with a thin string and filled with peanuts, was slowly being pulled up toward a hole in the trunk. I watched in amazement as the bag rose in tiny increments, held by a clever knot at the end of the string. Curiosity building, I concealed my presence and set a barrier around the bag. The bag jerked and stuck mid-air, the string going taut as the creature on the other end tried to pull it free. After a few more unsuccessful tugs, the string relaxed, and a small mouse cautiously poked its head out of the hole. I felt both astonished and intrigued¡ªthis was no ordinary mouse. I was taken aback when I spotted a bipedal mouse, casually strutting around on two feet. He looked like a character straight out of a childhood cartoon but had his own unique traits: a spiral marking on his belly, subtle patterns across his back, and eyes that held a surprisingly human-like curiosity. His fur was a deep, dark brown, with small patches of white on his hands, feet, and the tip of his tail, giving him a distinct, almost whimsical appearance. To top it off, he was dressed in little clothes crafted from leaves, looking quite pleased with his handiwork. Amused, I watched him trying to steal my food right under my nose. His tiny hands moved carefully, clutching at the peanut stash. Since he wasn¡¯t giving off any hostile vibes, I figured he wasn¡¯t affected by the abyssal energy that corrupted so many creatures in this forest. He was just after a meal. Deciding I¡¯d share with him, I felt a playful urge to see how he¡¯d react to a bit of mischief. I crafted a small prison of Rock around him, chuckling as he squeaked in shock, his tiny paws batting at the walls in confusion. ¡°Caught you, little thief!¡± I grinned, watching him scurry around. He tried to escape, then suddenly clasped his paws together, squeaking and chittering as though pleading for mercy. I couldn¡¯t hold back my laughter at the sight¡ªthis brave little bandit now reduced to begging. With a snap of my fingers, I removed the prison. The mouse¡¯s face shifted from fear to cautious curiosity as I handed him a peanut, explaining he didn¡¯t need to steal. He cocked his head, then seemed to understand, nodding slowly. So, I decided to share a few more treats: berries, seeds, and some fresh fruit. His eyes sparkled, and, with a little smile, he extended a tiny hand for a shake, as if cementing our new friendship. It struck me then, this was the first friend I¡¯d made since coming to this strange world. There was something comforting in knowing I wasn¡¯t completely alone. Smiling, I shook his tiny hand with my finger, feeling his soft fur brush against my skin. He scampered back to his tree trunk, but after a few moments, he returned, lugging a tiny box made of leaves, vines, and bark, nearly as big as himself. I knelt down to inspect it, realizing it was filled with golden honey. My heart warmed at the gesture; even in this wild world, kindness had its place. ¡°Thank you, my little friend,¡± I murmured, carefully placing the honey into my storage. Then, an idea sparked. Being a Celestial, I had the ability to change my size. I focused, channelling prana and magic through my body, and soon felt a glowing warmth as my form began to shrink. The mouse¡¯s eyes widened as he watched, his whiskers twitching in surprise. A moment later, I was his size, and thankfully, my clothes had shrunk with me. I waved, grinning, and he responded with an excited squeak, racing over and wrapping his little arms around me in an unexpected hug. He pulled back, looking me over with a fascinated gleam in his eyes. I explained that my magic allowed me to grow or shrink, and he chirped happily, seemingly impressed. We spent a while playing, darting around and tossing peanuts back and forth like a game. I couldn¡¯t help but marvel at this unlikely bond, feeling a strange comfort in his company. After a few rounds, he squeaked excitedly, waving for me to follow him toward his tree trunk. Intrigued, I trailed behind, wondering what kind of home this little mouse might have created¡ªespecially given his human-like personality. As he scurried ahead, I used my appraisal skill, eager to uncover any hidden details about my new friend.

Seeing this confirmed that Veeru was extraordinary, with traits that set him apart from other creatures. The fact that he could use lightning magic and had a mutated bloodline made him far more intelligent than I¡¯d anticipated. In fact, he is smarter than I was when I first arrived in this world, my intelligence only grew thanks to my cheat ability. I was amazed to discover that mice in this world had undergone such a transformation. When cats became corrupted with abyssal energy and grew fierce thousands of years ago, mice responded by evolving, gaining intelligence and agility. Over generations, some even acquired magical abilities, with lifespans stretching up to 50 years. I felt little bad for poor cats as I used to like playing with cats. The name Veeru reminded me of a friend from my college days, who once developed a crush on a girl in our class. After they became friends, she began calling him Veere (brother) in a playful way, which he didn¡¯t particularly love, given his feelings for her. When he shared this with our friend group, we laughed for hours. I even saved his contact¡¯s name as ¡°Veere¡± as a friendly tease, and it became a running joke. Smiling at the memory, I looked at my newfound friend, a creature from another world who was somehow rekindling memories of home. Veeru, on the other hand, was fidgeting happily, his tiny paws gripping his leaf-made bag filled with food. He turned to me, gesturing for me to follow him. As he scurried ahead, he looked back periodically, making sure I was keeping up. Activating Appraisal again, I focused on Veeru, hoping to catch any other unique traits. This little guy had already proven himself clever and surprisingly courteous; I couldn¡¯t wait to see the kind of house he¡¯d made in this towering tree. Upon stepping into Veeru''s home, I was so astonished that I could hardly believe my eyes. Tucked away within the thick, hollow trunk of a towering tree, Veeru¡¯s home was a marvel of natural ingenuity. Without human tools, he¡¯d crafted a cozy dwelling, using every resource the forest offered. Small pathways connected four distinct rooms, and the air was filled with the rich, scent of fresh wood and forest moss. A small wooden slab acted as a gate, keeping other animals out. Near the entrance were small, carefully crafted weapons¡ªa miniature crossbow and a rapier-like sword, the latter surprisingly made of metal. Is he defending himself with these? I wondered, both amused and impressed. In the main room, Veeru had fashioned a surprisingly comfortable bed. Soft moss and dried leaves were layered to form a plush resting place, and pieces of bark and pine needles served as a blanket. By his bed, a hollowed acorn stood as a makeshift nightstand, holding a smooth pebble he used to grind food or crack seeds. The walls of the main room were decorated with treasures from the forest: vibrant feathers, iridescent beetle shells, and a few dried petals, arranged in intricate patterns. Each added splashes of colour and a touch of personality to the space. I couldn''t help but smile, sensing that Veeru took great pride in crafting this room to feel like home. Veeru¡¯s ¡°kitchen¡± was perhaps the most impressive discovery. He¡¯d created a simple yet clever storage system with acorn caps and nutshells, each holding carefully gathered seeds, berries, and dried herbs. He¡¯d even stored these items in small hollows in the wall, covering them with bits of moss to keep everything fresh. A flat stone served as his preparation table, with various clay pots holding water. He had a full set of ¡°kitchen¡± tools, including a small rock-crafted knife and wooden plates, bowls, and spoons¡ªall carved with remarkable attention to detail. As I examined these, I wondered how much time he must¡¯ve spent crafting each item. For a mouse, his kitchen rivaled any humans in functionality. Deeper into the tree trunk was a loft area, accessible by a spiral staircase of woven twigs. As I climbed, I marvelled at the beauty of this structure¡ªeach twig held perfectly in place, sturdy enough even for me. Upstairs, Veeru kept his most prized items: a collection of snake skins, an unusually smooth pebble from the river, and a large owl feather. In the corner, he¡¯d even set up a reading space, with a ¡°book¡± of leaves stitched together by spider silk. So, this is where he practices his reading in Rasvani, I thought, admiring the patience and pride Veeru must feel in maintaining this skill. Veeru¡¯s lookout window caught my attention. Cleverly nibbled out of the wood, it allowed soft sunlight to filter into the room without compromising the tree¡¯s strength. Here, he could peek out into the forest and watch for potential threats or interesting happenings. Veeru¡¯s living space was a blend of practicality and charm, tucked within nature¡¯s embrace. It was a world apart from human comforts, yet brimming with life, creativity, and warmth. Near the kitchen, Veeru had created a small washing area, complete with tiny wooden and clay buckets. There were various herbs he used for washing and a towel woven from vines. A small cupboard held his clothes, all stitched together from leaves and vines, as well as winter clothes lined with monster fur. Beautiful carpets made from the pelts of different monsters adorned the floor, and one in particular, sewn from the gleaming skins of golden Wendigos, lay under his bed, gleaming softly¡ªa masterpiece that must¡¯ve taken incredible patience to create. The more I explored, the more Veeru¡¯s resourcefulness impressed me. His entire home was an intricate blend of nature and craftsmanship, full of warmth and life. In the corner of my mind, I began imagining how his clever skills and resourceful spirit might come in handy, if we travel together. As I explored Veeru¡¯s cozy home, he suddenly grabbed my hand and led me over to a small table. With a gesture, he motioned for me to sit on one of the chairs. Smiling, I settled into the chair, pleasantly surprised by how well-built and comfortable the chair was. Veeru then scurried to his kitchen area, picked up a wooden glass and a tray, filled it with water, and returned to me, offering it with a gentle bow. I was astonished by the scene before me¡ªa tiny mouse, not only welcoming me as his guest but treating me with such hospitality. It was endearing, almost surreal, and a far cry from how people back in my world treated guests these days. It felt like I was in a dream, and I wondered if I¡¯d truly been transported to a place where kindness and warmth still existed. After offering me water, Veeru dashed up the spiral stairs and returned moments later, his tiny arms full. Among the items he brought were a notebook made from leaves, a feather quill, and a small box containing a black liquid that looked like ink. He set them down, sat on a chair across from me, and began writing with his tiny hands. The sight was almost comical¡ªa mouse, living like a human, writing with a quill. I was thoroughly impressed and couldn¡¯t help but watch in awe. When he was done, he held the notebook out to me. "Hello, my name is Veeru," was written in Rasvani. It seemed he¡¯d chosen writing as his way to communicate, and with that simple message, I found myself smiling at his ingenuity. Without thinking, I held out my hand to take the quill and respond, but he stopped me, looking at me as though I¡¯d missed the obvious. Taking the notebook, he scribbled something again and handed it to me with an amused flick of his whiskers: ¡°I can¡¯t speak, but you can, idiot.¡± I felt my face grow warm, embarrassed by my mistake, and covered my eyes in shame. I¡¯d just managed to show off my intelligence¡ to a mouse. After a nervous chuckle, I said, ¡°Sorry, I forgot about that. Hehe.¡± I then introduced myself, telling him my name and admitting that I¡¯d used an appraisal skill on him, which is how I already knew his name. Veeru¡¯s eyes widened in surprise when I mentioned my skill, clearly impressed. He asked me what had brought me to the forest, so I explained that I¡¯d been heading toward town when I spotted this beautiful spot from the air, and decided to stop here for a good rest. Veeru¡¯s ears perked up with curiosity when he heard I¡¯d flown. Veeru then asked why a human would be in the forest alone; most humans usually travelled in groups when hunting monsters. I assured him I was more than capable of handling myself, given my strength, and I decided to tell him my full story. I explained my journey from another world, the cheat abilities I¡¯d acquired, and my goal of one day returning home. Veeru¡¯s expression shifted from wonder to disbelief, as though he thought I was pulling his leg. But when I showed him my status window, his expression shifted from disbelief to outright shock. His tiny jaw practically hit the floor, especially when he saw the ¡°Cheat Master¡± title and its absurdly powerful traits. I could sense a hint of jealousy from him as he processed my abilities, which made me laugh. As I told him about how I¡¯d been separated from my family and friends, his expression softened, showing genuine sympathy. It seemed like he understood the pain of being alone. When I spoke of my goal to find a way back home and to explore this world, he cheered me on with a heartfelt smile. Curious about his living arrangements, I asked if anyone else lived with him, given the size of his home. Veeru¡¯s expression grew somber, and he began writing again, his tiny hands moving a little slower this time. His body language changed; his ears drooping as he recounted his own story. He wrote that he once had a loving family¡ªa mother and a father. Like him, his mother was intelligent and taught him to read and write in Rasvani, as well as basic math. His father taught him survival skills¡ªhow to use weapons, gather food, store supplies, and collect rainwater. Four years ago, while they were out foraging in the forest, two Gorgogs attacked them. His father bravely gave his life to give them a chance to escape. As they fled, his mother set traps for the Gorgogs, injuring them, but she was ultimately caught and killed. Veeru survived by hiding in a rock crevice, helpless as his parents died to protect him. Devastated, he spent days without eating, paralyzed by grief. Then, one day something in him changed, he vowed to avenge them. For six months, he trained, leveling up gradually, and finally prepared a deadly trap. He dug a big and deep pit lined with sharpened wooden stakes and crossbows rigged to fire upon any movement. One day, he encountered the two Gorgogs again and recognized them by the scars his mother had inflicted. With calculated precision, he lured them into the trap. As they fell into the pit, the spikes pierced their bodies, and the crossbows released a rain of arrows, injuring their legs so they couldn¡¯t escape. The Gorgogs thrashed in pain, but they remained alive, snarling in agony. Veeru channelled his lightning magic, paralyzing them just enough so they couldn¡¯t resist. Then he filled the pit with dried grass and coal, lighting it ablaze. As the flames rose, he watched as his enemies were finally consumed by fire, avenging his family¡¯s death. After recounting his tale, Veeru sat in silence, his body still as the memories washed over him. He had survived alone in this tree for the past four years, honing the skills his parents had taught him, and today, I was his first guest in all that time. I could feel the weight of his story, the courage and resilience it had taken for him to make it this far.
