《Imaginative Normality》 0 - Abnormal Drive? A normal life is all that I have experienced¡­ From when I gained consciousness to now, I have pretty much known how I will live in the future. Where I live life steadily, whether I am content with my situation or not. Yet, it is so undeniably boring when everything you do is known and experienced already. I have tried new opportunities but have never truly felt like there was a spark of life within that experience. And now, I am only living life... just there... having no particular strong feelings for much of everything anymore. Except for the creative ideas of people today, where stories of the untold and the unimaginable are created and shared. Stories of heroes and villains, fantastical and realistic, even dramatic and tranquil stories. However, it seems that feeling is getting harder to obtain day by day. Today was an abnormal day, doing the same routine before clocking into work and leaving. Next thing I knew when driving home, was like a glitch in reality where the road started to fizz out of existence. I¡¯m not even sure how to explain it, but I wasn¡¯t going to drive towards the problem. And so I turned around and drove back, it left my vision as quick as it appeared. Yep, I¡¯m going to the hospital, it seems like my body¡¯s failing on me or something. Where¡­ It went dark, I felt light, I couldn¡¯t even feel my body. And like seeing stars after rubbing your eyes, my vision returned and my body laid against the wheel. I sat up and saw everything was normal? I¡¯m in the car? I¡¯m drunk? Or got drugged, not sure which but my body felt fine? Why? What just happened? I grabbed my phone and checked the time, normal. Called friends and family, ¡°YAWWNnn, what u want man¡±, ¡°You need anything?¡±, ¡°Bro stop bothering me, I¡¯m trying to sleep¡±,Normal. Looked at anything trending on my phone and my surroundings, normal¡­ What happened? I looked at my surroundings before finally deciding to drive in the opposite direction. I look down and see myself sitting atop of a floating island. A small one, but a floating island nonetheless. Crap¡­ please please PLEASE! Whoever is creating this story with me inside, I DO NOT WANT TO BE THE PROTAGONIST, VILLAIN, OR SOMEONE WITH A DRAMATIC BACKSTORY. Or if this is all inside my mind please, just be a slice of life story¡­No dark fantasy, drama, nor crazy characters. Granted those genres are pretty interesting, just not interesting enough to experience yourself¡­ Anyways, what''s my situation? Yikes, my muscles must have become incredibly lax¡­ I¡¯ve been doing this for a while now, not sure if it can count as hours but I¡¯ll just say a couple hours, but I¡¯ve figured out a couple things. First off, the fact that I can continuously exercise without getting attacked means I¡¯m either getting stalked by something or there are no creatures around this area. Secondly, my breath relief is an ability that only works for when my whole body relaxes and I only focus on recovering myself. The third thing is that my ability works only with my physical body meaning I still have my mental state to worry about when exercising as if I¡¯m too bored of repetition then I wouldn¡¯t want to do it anymore. And the last thing is that the Glowers excrete some kind of luminescence that isn¡¯t liquid or matter but gas like. I can probably guess that with so much gas like things in this world, they are a major factor to how everything functions. I just need to be cautious and learn more about this world Now then onto my next topic, it looks like using my ability also restores my hunger. To be more specific it feels like drinking water after not eating anything for a day. Which means I still got to eat but using my ability can make me survive for a couple more days. Plus with me having to exercise, I would likely need real food instead of water to get the benefits. Oh, now that I¡¯m on that topic of getting the benefits¡­I¡¯m now able to do twenty push-ups at a time now! And my stamina is still the same, but I would say at least I can run/walk a mile now. HELL YEAH! ¡­But I¡¯m not growing much muscle anymore, as at this point my stomach seems to only be water.
