《I got reincarnated as a energy, but now I am op》 Prologue: death and reincarnation Eye fluttered open, its dark pupil dilating against the vast emptiness that surrounded it. A sharp breath was taken, the air cold and unfamiliar as it filled the lungs. Slowly, the view expanded, the darkness retreating to reveal the source of the unease. Kamahura Lanjiwar sat up on his bed, his body drenched in sweat. The white strands of his hair clung to his forehead, evidence of a nightmare, or perhaps a memory too painful to forget. The room around him was silent¡ªeerily so. The low hum of the city outside was the only sound that broke the stillness. Kamahura¡¯s breath came in ragged bursts, his mind struggling to find its way back to reality. He wiped the cold sweat from his brow with the back of his hand and swung his legs over the side of the bed. The tatami mat beneath him creaked as he stood, the wood groaning under his weight. He walked towards the balcony, the cool night air a welcome relief against his heated skin. Leaning against the railing, he gazed up at the moon. It hung in the sky, bright and distant, casting long, pale shadows across the quiet street. His breath steadied, but the emptiness remained. There was a hollowness inside him that refused to be filled. ¡°My name is Kamahura Lanjiwar,¡± he thought, his voice quiet in the solitude of the night. ¡°Thirty years old. $10,000 a month. A quiet Japanese house to call my own.¡± The words were hollow, devoid of warmth. Success, wealth¡ªnone of it brought comfort. His fingers tightened around the cold metal of the railing as he spoke again, this time aloud, as if confessing to an unseen listener. ¡°No family. No one to celebrate my birthday with. Every year, I cut the cake alone.¡± A bitter laugh escaped him, the sound rough and dry. He closed his eyes for a moment, lost in the memories of his time at IIT Delhi, in India. His mind wandered back to a time when he had been an orphan, struggling to survive, to make something of himself. He¡¯d found friends there¡ªreal friends¡ªhis heart warm with camaraderie. And then there was her. Yuaika. His lips curled into a small, sad smile as the memories of their carefree college days flooded back. They had been inseparable, partners in mischief, the best of friends. But that was then. Yuaika had moved on, married with children. They still met occasionally, but the connection was different now. The innocence of those days had long since faded. His eyes flicked to the clock on the wall, the numbers glowing faintly in the dark. 2 a.m. A tired sigh escaped him, and with it, the weight of exhaustion pressed down on his shoulders. If I don¡¯t sleep now, I¡¯ll be a zombie tomorrow... he thought to himself as he turned away from the balcony and made his way back to bed. But sleep didn¡¯t come easily. Morning Rush The shrill sound of his alarm clock shattered the silence of the early morning. Kamahura groaned in irritation, a grimace spreading across his face as he slammed his hand down on the snooze button. ¡°Why is everything against me today?¡± he muttered to himself, blinking groggily at the clock. ¡°8 a.m.? Oh, crap!¡± His movements were frantic as he threw off the covers, his body barely cooperating with the urgency in his mind. He rushed to his closet, yanking clothes from the hangers without thinking, his heart racing in panic. He had prepared for this day¡ªhad spent days getting everything just right. But now, the clock was his enemy. I bought this blazer two days ago specifically for today! I can¡¯t afford to mess this up! He tossed aside the clothes he wasn¡¯t going to wear, barely registering his actions. His thoughts were a blur¡ªget dressed, grab the shoes, check the time, don¡¯t be late. Don¡¯t be late. The floor creaked beneath his hurried steps, and as he glanced out the window, the quiet emptiness of his house settled in again. There was no one to share this moment with, no one to laugh at his absurd panic. Alone, as always. He rushed to shut the windows, the house eerily quiet except for the hurried thudding of his feet on the wooden floor. Grabbing his shoes, he muttered under his breath, ¡°Dammit, faster!¡± He fumbled for his keys, locking the door behind him before dashing outside. The cool morning air hit him like a wall as he sprinted down the street, the city streets blurring past in a haze of motion. But then, his eyes flicked toward something. A staircase on the side of an old building caught his attention. His heart raced even faster as an impulsive idea crossed his mind. I can¡¯t afford to be late! Without hesitation, he dashed toward the stairs and leapt onto the neighboring rooftop. His legs screamed with the effort, his breath coming in ragged gasps. Adrenaline surged through his body, but the fear¡ªthe raw fear¡ªclung to him like a second skin. The wind whipped through his hair, tears streaming from his eyes as he vaulted from rooftop to rooftop, not stopping for a moment. He wasn¡¯t thinking about anything but getting to her.Love this story? Find the genuine version on the author''s preferred platform and support their work! Today¡¯s my day off, he thought with a small, rare smile breaking through the tension. I¡¯m going to see Yuaika. After all this time... His heart swelled with emotion as he neared the company building. He could see her¡ªhe could see her standing there, her child in her arms. He barely registered the pain in his legs, the sharpness in his breath. ¡°There she is,¡± he whispered, his voice trembling with a mix of excitement and disbelief. ¡°She¡¯s waiting for me. Let¡¯s go.¡± But then, his eyes scanned the rooftop, his breath hitching in his chest. ¡°Wait... Holy crap, where are the stairs?¡± His eyes darted around, panic starting to set in. His gaze landed on a narrow fire escape ladder on the side of the building. I can¡¯t panic now. Quickly, he descended the ladder, his thoughts a whirl of urgency. He dashed across the street to the other side, where Yuaika stood. He stopped at the crosswalk, tapping his foot impatiently. Come on... But then something unexpected happened. Yuaika¡¯s child, a toddler, squirmed in her arms. In a split second, he wiggled free, his tiny legs stumbling toward the busy street. ¡°No...¡± Kamahura¡¯s eyes widened in horror. Yuaika, stop him! He shouted, but she couldn¡¯t hear him over the sound of the traffic. She stumbled, falling to her knees as she cried out in desperation. Kamahura¡¯s blood ran cold as he saw the child now in the middle of the street, frozen in place, unaware of the speeding car approaching. His heart raced, and the world around him seemed to slow down. The car wasn¡¯t slowing down. Can I even save him? The thought echoed in his mind. He could see the car approaching, its headlights glaring in his vision. If he jumped in, there was no way he wouldn¡¯t be hit. But then the thought broke through¡ªThis is Yuaika¡¯s child. The urgency overwhelmed him, and without another thought, he leapt forward. ¡°No more hesitation!¡± he screamed, his voice raw with determination. He ran with everything he had, his body trembling with adrenaline, but there was no time to stop now. He grabbed the child, throwing him toward Yuaika, who caught him just in time, her arms outstretched in frantic relief. But Kamahura didn¡¯t have time to celebrate. He turned his head just as the car was almost on top of him. He had mere seconds. The world around him went dark as the impact threw him into the streetlight pole. Pain exploded through his body as everything blurred into a haze. He managed to catch a final glimpse of Yuaika holding her child, tears of relief streaming down her face. I did it... Kamahura thought, a smile creeping onto his face even as his vision dimmed. Chapter 1: The Final Breath ¡°Kamahura! Are you okay? Stay with me, please!¡± Yuaika¡¯s voice cracked, her frantic cries piercing through the chaos. She knelt beside him, shaking his bloodied shoulders as if her touch alone could hold him together. ¡°I¡ I¡¯m dying,¡± Kamahura whispered, his voice barely audible. Warm blood seeped from the gash on his head, pooling beneath him. The world around him was a blur¡ªa swirling mass of lights and shadows. ¡°Kamahura! Don¡¯t give up! I¡¯m calling an ambulance, just hold on!¡± Yuaika pleaded, her tears falling freely, mingling with the blood on his face. He gazed up at her with a faint smile, his lips trembling. ¡°Hey, Yuaika¡ take care of yourself¡ and make sure the kid¡ grows up happy.¡± The edges of his vision darkened further. This is it, isn¡¯t it? he thought, his body growing colder with each passing second. Why are human bodies so fragile? His thoughts spiraled as the pain consumed him. One collision, and we¡¯re reduced to this¡ªa mess of blood and broken bones. If this is what life¡¯s like, maybe it¡¯s better to not have a body like this at all. The darkness closed in, swallowing the world whole. His limbs felt weightless, his consciousness teetering on the edge of oblivion. Suddenly, a voice echoed in the void¡ªcalm, mechanical, and entirely foreign. ¡°New skill ¡®Blood Control¡¯ confirmed: The user can control blood.¡± ¡°What¡?¡± Kamahura¡¯s thoughts stuttered. The voice was surreal, disembodied. ¡°What is this? Where is that voice coming from?¡± The pain in his head began to recede, replaced by a strange warmth radiating through his veins. His heartbeat, once erratic, now steadied, each thud growing stronger. So, this is how it ends¡ Kamahura¡¯s thoughts shifted to the life he¡¯d lived. It wasn¡¯t good enough¡ªnot what I dreamed it would be. A bitter chuckle echoed in his mind. I didn¡¯t even find love¡ didn¡¯t build a family¡ didn¡¯t even¡ His lips twitched faintly. Die anything other than a virgin. Figures. The darkness surrounding him felt both suffocating and peaceful. ¡°Am I¡ dead now?¡± Kamahura wondered. His voice felt distant, like a whisper in an empty room. Memories of countless anime marathons and manga nights resurfaced, bringing a faint sense of nostalgia. Those stories¡ they always talked about being reborn in another world. ¡°If¡ if rebirth is real, then I want a second chance,¡± he thought, his resolve hardening. ¡°This time, I¡¯ll live differently. I¡¯ll make friends, create a big family, and live without regrets.¡± ¡°Create a big family, and live without regrets¡¡± As his final wish crystallized in his mind, the darkness stirred, rippling like a vast ocean under a faint light. There I was... There I was, waiting my whole life to become someone great¡ªjust like a garden with all kinds of flowers. I wanted happiness... Damn it! I thought everything would change for the better this year, the start of a new chapter¡ªa New Year, every 365 days of hope and promises. Even now, after dying, here I am talking to myself. Great. I guess I¡¯m my only friend now. A heavy sigh escaped. And that was the last thing I thought before all my senses were swallowed by darkness. Goodbye, life. A faint voice cut through the void: ¡°Find Echo to grow strong.¡± ¡°What¡ What did I just hear?¡± Kamahura¡¯s thoughts raced, trying to latch onto the unfamiliar words. Kamahura¡¯s consciousness flickered like a dying candle, the voice he¡¯d just heard reverberating in his mind. Echo? What was that? His mind scrambled for answers, but none came. The vast emptiness surrounding him was all-encompassing, save for that one strange phrase. ¡°Find Echo to grow strong.¡± The words lingered in the back of his mind, like a puzzle he couldn¡¯t solve. Despite the uncertainty, there was something about the voice that felt... important. A guide? A warning? Kamahura wasn¡¯t sure, but his curiosity spurred him forward. He focused on those words. Find Echo¡ Then, something shifted. A warmth spread through him, not from his body, but from within, as if his very soul were awakening. The cold that had gripped him in his final moments was vanishing. His heartbeat, once erratic and fading, was now steady, strong, and full of life. For a brief, fleeting moment, the sensation was like standing beneath a rising sun, its warmth filling every part of him. Kamahura felt alive again, his pain and injuries vanishing in an instant, replaced by an overwhelming sense of power. His surroundings began to change, the darkness ebbing away. The heavy weightlessness he had felt before was now replaced by the sensation of movement¡ªa subtle but undeniable shift. Suddenly, the coldness vanished completely, and Kamahura found himself standing on solid ground. He blinked, his eyes adjusting to the new reality. The world around him was... nothing like the one he¡¯d left behind. He was no longer lying in a pool of blood, his life fading away. Instead, he stood in the middle of an expansive landscape, unfamiliar yet strangely inviting. The sky above him was a deep purple, dotted with floating islands and strange, unidentifiable structures. The air was crisp, and there was a strange energy that hummed in the atmosphere. It wasn¡¯t just the physical world that felt different; he himself felt... different. Kamahura touched his chest, expecting to feel the hollow emptiness of death. But instead, he felt the steady thrum of a heart, alive and strong. His body, once broken and battered, was whole again. He took a deep breath, his mind racing. What happened? Where am I? The last thing he remembered was dying. Yet, now he was here¡ªalive, in a new world. Had it been a dream? Had he truly been reborn? And more importantly¡ªwhat did the voice mean by ¡°Find Echo to grow strong¡±? The thought lingered in his mind, like a challenge. A puzzle waiting to be solved. ¡°Find Echo¡¡± he whispered aloud, determination flickering in his eyes. ¡°I don¡¯t know where this is, but I¡¯m going to find it. And I will grow stronger. For the first time in my life, I¡¯m going to live... without regrets.¡± The world before him awaited, and Kamahura was ready to step into it¡ªready to see what this second chance at life had in store. --- To be continued... Chapter 1: Awakening "What was that? I thought I was done for! But why does my voice sound... different? Is it... lighter? Higher-pitched?" "Am I alive? No way¡ªI was hit by that car. I remember flying through the air, head over heels. There''s no way I survived that..." "Wait, what if I''ve been reborn? Tokyo? Japan? Please, let it be Tokyo!" As his mind raced in the void, a strange sensation began to pulse through him. "What''s happening? Why do I feel like I''m... coming back to life? This lightness... I can''t even feel my limbs. It''s like someone took my arms and legs away!" Slowly, the oppressive darkness started to recede, replaced by blinding light. As his vision cleared, he blinked rapidly, struggling to understand what he was seeing. --- A New Form He opened his eyes¡ªor at least, he thought they were eyes¡ªand found himself floating in a dense, lush forest, surrounded by massive trees and vibrant, shimmering foliage. "Where... Where am I? What the hell?!" He tried to glance down, but was horrified to realize he didn''t have a body in the way he was used to. Instead, he was a glowing, spherical wisp of energy with oversized, flapping elephant-like ears. "What... What is this body? Am I some kind of balloon with ears?! This is insane!" In his confusion, a massive white bird with iridescent feathers and two spiraling horns landed nearby. It fixed its piercing gaze on him, and he couldn''t help but exclaim in shock. "Oh-ho-ho! What the hell?!" The bird''s wings flapped in panic, squawking loudly before it took off as if its life depended on it. "Hey! Wait¡ªdon''t leave! I''m not dangerous! ...At least, I think I''m not." --- Discovering New Skills Floating aimlessly in the air, he marveled at the ease with which he moved. "Am I flying? Or is this just... floating on steroids?" Just then, a glowing, rectangular tab appeared in front of him. It read: --- Skills Unlocked: Floating Magic (Level 1) Fire Magic Dark Magic Dimensional Magic Blood Control Species: Unknown Evolve Button Available --- His eyes widened. "What is this?! A status screen? Oh-ho, this is awesome! Wait... Floating Magic? I''ve been floating this whole time! What''s the point of that skill?" Frustrated, he waved his glowing appendages in mock anger. "Who needs floating? Give me something cool, like laser beams or teleportation!" Suddenly, a rustling sound snapped him out of his rant. Something was moving through the forest at high speed. --- The First Encounter New Skill Unlocked: Keen Observation (Level 1): Detect enemies or objects within a 50-meter radius. --- He blinked as a new skill notification appeared before his eyes. "What''s this? Oh, sweet! I can detect enemies near me!" Before he could process it further, the shadow of his approaching attacker emerged from the underbrush. In a flash, he zipped to the right and ducked behind a nearby tree.If you discover this tale on Amazon, be aware that it has been unlawfully taken from Royal Road. Please report it. Peeking cautiously, he saw the source of the threat: a stunning white lioness with a flowing rainbow-colored mane and a spiraling horn. Her sharp gaze scanned the area, searching for him. "Oh no. Nope! Not today!" he whispered, beads of... energy-sweat(?) forming. Despite her terrifying presence, he couldn''t help but notice how majestic she looked. His thoughts betrayed him. "Why does she look... kinda cute? No, focus!" --- Chased and Cornered The lioness''s ears twitched, locking onto his hiding spot. She prowled forward with deadly grace, her eyes zeroing in on his glowing form. "Ah crap! She saw me!" he muttered under his breath. Without wasting a second, he turned to flee, propelling himself through the air as fast as his tiny body could manage. The lioness, unfazed, bounded after him, her leaps closing the distance with terrifying speed. "I''m going to die again! This world is insane!" he screamed as he darted between trees, ducking under low branches. In his frantic escape, he failed to notice the ground beneath him give way. With a loud, panicked yelp, he plunged into a massive hole. "Aaaah! What now?!" --- The Dungeon Awaits He tumbled through the darkness, landing with a soft thud in an enormous underground cavern. The air was thick with moisture, and the sounds of distant growls and echoing drips filled the space. A new notification popped up. --- Dark Magic (Level 2): Manipulate non-living objects. New Skill: Omniverse Storage: Store non-living items in a pocket dimension. --- His glowing orbs blinked excitedly. "Oh, now this is what I''m talking about!" As he floated deeper into the cavern, the hum of energy grew louder, sending chills down his ethereal form. The only light in the vast darkness was the faint, glowing blue of his body, which flickered and pulsed in the otherwise pitch-black space. Looks like this adventure was only just beginning. "What''s down here? Treasure? Monsters? ...More lionesses?" He steeled himself, determination lighting up his thoughts. "Whatever it is, I''ll figure it out. I''m not dying again¡ªnot without answers!" A glimmer of hope flashed through his mind. "Oh! That''s good. A pocket for me." He paused. "Wait, let''s try ''float.''" As soon as the word left his glowing lips, he felt a shift. He began to float. "Huh? What the¡ª?" "It wasn''t working before, but it seems like things are finally going in my favor." The darkness surrounding him started to recede, and the sound of flowing water grew louder as he ventured deeper. Glowing crystal formations and vibrant herbs began to appear, their colors shifting in the dim light like faint rainbows. The further he went, the more crystals grew, their emerald hue lighting up the cavern. On his left, a stream of water flowed through the cave, leading deeper into the unknown. "Whoa, there''s a crystal! That looks nice." "Can I store it in the ''Omniverse''?" "Let''s try." Concentrating on the word "Omniverse," he reached out toward the crystal. A small black circle materialized on its surface, and the crystal was absorbed into it. "Let''s try getting it back." He focused again, and the black circle appeared in front of him. To his surprise, the crystal floated out from the black void. "Ooh, this is great! It''s working." He sent the crystal back into the black circle. "This is so nice." With renewed interest, he floated toward the water, the gentle current pulling him along as he followed the stream deeper into the cave. "Let''s try storing this too." He attempted to say "Omniverse," but accidentally muttered "absorb." "Ooh, my mistake. I meant to say ''Omniverse.''" To his shock, a strange black tendril extended from his form, reaching out and pulling some of the water toward him. "What?! What is this... holy crap!" A notification appeared before his eyes. --- New skill: Water Magic confirmed Use: The user can manipulate water to attack. --- "Ooh, today''s my lucky day." He blinked, confused. "But what is this skill? It didn''t even show up in the status tab." He shrugged. "Eh, whatever. I''ve got a new skill!" His gaze shifted to the nearby crystals and herbs, and a mischievous glint danced in his eyes. He extended his abilities and began absorbing them one after another, pulling each crystal and herb into the black circle. "Alright, this should be enough now." But then, a larger crystal caught his attention. "Wait! There''s one more thing." A grin spread across his face as he approached the crystal. He used the "Absorb" command once again. --- New skill: Crystal Manipulation confirmed Use: The user can manipulate crystals. --- New skill: Wind Magic confirmed [Level 3] Use: The user can manipulate wind. --- New skill: Clone Creation confirmed Use: The user can create multiple clones. --- "Ooh, now that''s something new and useful!" He watched as several of his skills leveled up. --- Dark Magic [Level Up] Fire Magic [Level Up] Wind Magic [Level Up] Water Magic [Level Up] --- "Wait, what?! Just from absorbing four crystals?" He was momentarily stunned, then tried absorbing a few more, but nothing happened. "There must be a reason... this world is crazy after all." With a grin, he approached a nearby herb and used the Absorb command. --- New skill: Minor Healing confirmed Use: The user can heal minor injuries. --- New skill: Herb Identification confirmed Use: The user can identify herbs. --- "What''s next? This is insane, man!" Excited by the constant influx of new skills, he walked toward the water, and with a thought, he began to manipulate it. Using his new Water Manipulation ability, he formed the water into a floating throne. The water swirled around him, shaping itself into a spherical, solid structure that began to mold into the perfect form of a throne. "Now this is something." "Ha! Ha! Now, give me your daughter''s hand, or this gun''s bullet will be in your head!" he laughed, adopting a mock villainous tone. "How dare you oppose your king!" he continued, pretending to deliver a dramatic monologue. "This is a really good throne," he murmured to himself, thoroughly impressed. Floating comfortably on his new water throne, he chuckled, taking in the sights. He noticed a few more crystals up ahead but felt no real desire to absorb them. "I don''t need any more. I''ve got enough." "I''m not going to eat them or something; there''s no point in hoarding them." As he continued his journey through the cave, a door began to materialize in the distance. It grew larger as he approached, drawing him forward into whatever new challenge lay beyond. "Time to see what''s next," he muttered, a spark of excitement lighting up his thoughts. Chapter 2: The Creature and the Door "What... is that door?" The massive door ahead was intimidating, its presence unsettling, but something in the air warned him of an even greater threat nearby. The Creature Approaches A growing sense of danger overwhelmed him. His instincts kicked in as his Keen Observation skill activated. "I knew it..." He could feel the swirling energy in the air sharpening his senses. Something enormous was closing in, and a chill rippled through his form. Emerging from the shadows, the creature took shape¡ªa grotesque blend of a shark''s head and octopus-like tentacles. Its dark body moved with terrifying speed, and its two horns gleamed ominously in the dim light. "Wh-what is that?" His thoughts raced, his body instinctively recoiling at the sight of the beast. With no physical form to defend himself, he quickly summoned his abilities. "Water Shield!" In an instant, a massive dome of water enveloped him, wrapping tightly around his glowing form, a barrier of protection. "This is good," he thought, feeling the shield solidify. "I can create more than just water. I can manipulate it in different ways." The creature slammed into the barrier with incredible force, its tentacles thrashing and slashing at the shield. But the water held firm, rippling only slightly from the impact. "Alright, let''s see how you handle this," he thought, feeling the intensity of the situation rise. "Perfect chance to test my power." The creature''s massive tentacles beat against the water shield, pushing and clawing at the barrier, but it couldn''t break through. "This isn''t good..." He felt the pressure mounting. "If I don''t keep control, I''ll be overwhelmed." Thinking quickly, he floated upward, layering more water shields around himself, stacking them in rapid succession. But the strain of maintaining the shields mounted, and his focus began to waver. "I need space. I can''t keep up with this many shields," he thought, panic creeping in as the creature continued to attack. "I need distance," he decided, pushing himself forward, toward the gate he had seen earlier. But just as he moved, something shifted behind him¡ªsomething white, oval-shaped, and still hidden in the shadows. "What is that?" His focus wavered for a moment as he caught sight of the movement. Before he could investigate, a sudden shockwave blasted from the creature''s gaping mouth, a sonic boom that hit his shield with deafening force. The impact sent him flying backward, crashing into the stone wall of the dungeon. "Damn it!" He bounced off the wall, but quickly regained his composure. "Now you''ve done it." A dark grin spread across his mind. "Time to get serious." ---Unauthorized content usage: if you discover this narrative on Amazon, report the violation. Water Manipulation: A New Approach The air around him thickened with rising energy as he began to gather his strength. "Water Manipulation." The water around him spiraled and coiled like a snake, building into a massive sphere. His concentration was immense, but the sphere continued to compress, shrinking into a more concentrated form, its power still immense. "This should be enough," he thought, steadying himself. Without hesitation, he launched the condensed water sphere forward like a laser, cutting through the air with immense speed. It hit the creature dead center, tearing a gaping hole through its body. The creature screeched in agony as it collapsed, lifeless. "Ha ha ha! I''m a genius!" His mind briefly surged with exhilaration. "But damn, that was close. If I hadn''t kept my distance, I would''ve been done for." He floated down to inspect the fallen creature, eager to see what lay within. --- The Mysterious Eggs As he neared the creature''s remains, something caught his attention: a large, white egg nestled within the creature''s tentacles. It was striped with two blue lines, glowing with an unnatural light. "An egg..." He focused intently. "But whose egg is this?" Nearby, another egg lay half-eaten, its blackened shell a grim reminder of the creature''s destructive habits. He eyed it warily before returning his gaze to the intact egg. "So, that''s what happened..." he realized. "The creature must have been guarding these eggs. But what''s inside them?" With a deep breath, he used his Omniverse ability to store the intact egg safely away. "Safe for now," he thought, feeling satisfied with his decision. A dark grin crept across his face. "What should I do with you now?" he mused, eyeing the dead creature. --- Absorption and New Skills The decision was simple. He activated Absorb, dark tendrils of energy reaching out to siphon the creature''s essence. --- New skill: Sound Waves confirmed. Use: The user can create and manipulate sound waves. --- "Nice, now I can make some noise," he mused, amused by the new power. But the flow of energy didn''t stop there. Another notification buzzed in his mind. --- New skill: Wind confirmed. Use: The user can manipulate wind. --- "Makes sense," he thought. "It was using wind to fly. Now I can too." Glancing toward the remaining egg, he moved forward, wondering what more he could gain. He used Absorb on the second egg, waiting for any new notifications. Nothing. "Huh, nothing from this one," he muttered. But then, as if answering his unspoken question, another notification rang in his mind. --- New skill: Basic Craftsmanship confirmed. Use: The user can craft basic items. --- "Well, that''s a surprise," he said, pleased. "Looks like I''m getting a lot of useful skills today." --- New skill: Quick Step confirmed. Use: The user can move at a significantly faster speed. --- "Perfect," he said with a grin. "Now I''ve got something to move faster when I need it." --- The Final Encounter Feeling empowered, he floated toward the gate, already considering how to best use his new abilities. A thrill of excitement bubbled inside him, and for a moment, he couldn''t help but hum a victory tune. "I''ve got new skills," he hummed. "Good skills, too." But as he neared the massive door, the sound of something falling broke his concentration¡ªa noise like stone dropping from a great height. He looked up to see a creature clinging to the ceiling, its body a mix of an ant''s form and a spider''s legs. Its size was monstrous, growing larger as he drew nearer. "What is that?" he muttered, his mind sharpening with calculations. "How did it get so big?" He floated cautiously, trying to size up the creature. It was unsettling, but he remained calm, analyzing every movement. "I don''t think it''s an enemy..." he thought, observing the creature carefully. "But I can''t be too sure." As he neared, the creature seemed to grow in his perception, its eight legs poised for an attack. "How the hell did it get this big?" --- "You''re cheating, man!" He started moving back slowly, trying to retreat without alerting the creature to his intentions. With every step, the tension grew. The distance to safety seemed endless. "Ha! You won''t catch me! I''m way too smart for that," he whispered to himself. But after just two meters, he froze. "What...? Why can''t I move?" Panic set in as he glanced over his shoulder. The sticky, glistening threads of a web had ensnared his back, rooting him in place. The creature''s many eyes gleamed, its intelligence and malice evident. "Oh no. No-no-no. This isn''t fair!" he yelled, struggling against the webbing. The creature began pulling him closer with unnerving precision, its movements deliberate and calculating. Its eyes seemed to gleam with a silent message: "Think you''re clever? Let''s see how clever you are when you''re mine." --- The Fight Scene "Alright, buddy. If you think I''m just going to roll over, you''ve got another thing coming!" He gritted his teeth, his body pulsing with energy as he activated his skills. With a burst of force, he severed some of the web threads holding him down, quickly darting to the side to avoid the spider''s lunging legs. "Missed me! Is this all you''ve got?" The creature''s movements grew faster and more aggressive. It launched itself at him, its sharp legs aiming to pierce his form. He countered, swiping his claws quickly, severing one of its legs. "Gotcha! Who''s the predator now?" The spider screeched in fury, wrapping itself in a thick barrier of webbing for protection. "Oh, come on! Don''t tell me you''re hiding already!" Before he could finish mocking it, the spider launched itself at him through the barrier, its body aimed at his chest. In an instant, he activated Water Manipulation, conjuring a shield of water to block the incoming attack. The spider slammed into the shield, its momentum thrown off. Seizing the opportunity, he lunged forward, claws glowing faintly from the energy he had absorbed. With a decisive strike, he severed the spider''s head. The creature screeched one final time before collapsing to the ground, its body going limp. The threads in the room loosened, and the threat was finally neutralized.
