《Pokemon: Merged Worlds Ivy’s Legacy》 Chapter 1 Within the Kanto Region lies a secluded village near one of the very few explored forests. Dustgrove Village is a village cut off from the rest of the world. There is no pokelab or center here. There is no place to get a pokedex or pokeballs. It''s a village with very little protection from the pokemon that roam the forest depths. The villagers only know the forest next to the village is called the Primordial Forest. Legends of old that have been passed down within the village tell a story of ancient pokemon taking up residents inside the forest. It is also because of those ancient pokemon that many stay away from this place. Leaving the village to fend for itself. It has no roads leading anywhere outside the village. The total population alone was only a mere one hundred residents, all of which had been born and grown up here over the years. It is within this village that a young woman of sixteen years of age lives. In her small little cabin, made from logs harvested from the forest itself, she lives alone. Her parents had passed away during a pokemon stampede. She has been living in this cabin alone, with the help of her parents'' family and villagers, while also slowly fending for herself since the age of ten. Now in her late teens she has been getting pestered by the mothers of sons who were of age to settle down to get married. But this was not the life this young woman wanted for herself. She wanted to live free. She wanted to become a pokemon warrior, just like the one who had stopped the stampede six years ago. The world the girl lived in was not a kind place. Pokemon roamed the lands, and their deceiving outer appearance made them look cute but would turn into a vicious beast within seconds. This was something that the girl had long learned and witnessed firsthand during the stampede. The problem that all villagers had was they still had to risk going into the forest to forage for food and try to capture some weaker pokemon to put meat on the table. The problem that the girl had when facing a dream she wished to make true was that in order to even start her journey to becoming a pokemon trainer, she first needed a pokeball and pokedex. One could not become a pokemon warrior without these two things, and that is because the same monsters she feared would become her companions and fight at her side. Only by capturing pokemon could you fight against them. Pokemons wielded the power of the elements and had other strange abilities that made it hard to fight them without the assistance of other pokemon. This novel is published on a different platform. She had her greying brown hair tied up so that it did not get caught on anything while she was out foraging in the forest. "Yeah, but the lack of resources is starting to make me nervous." Ivy had noticed that the edible plants in the forest had been a lot less this year, unlike the previous years. "You should stop being stubborn and just settle down, girl. You are one of the prettiest girls in the village. There are many boys lining up to be your husband." The woman replied with a smile. She also had a son who would love to marry a girl like Ivy. "Sorry, but you know my stance. I don''t wish to marry. I want to one day maybe leave the village and find my way to a bigger village or town so I can become a pokemon warrior." Ivy''s dream was something she couldn''t give up on. She had been slowly making plans and learning what she could from the materials the village had about the pokemon around this area. She planned to wait one more year and risk it all to go to a bigger village with a place she could get her first pokeball and pokedex. "As stubborn as always. Well..." the woman trailed off before sighing. "We are all basically family here, so just ask if you need help. Do not go too deep into the forest. You know the boundary lines. Make sure you stay within them. If you need food, just come to my house. "Thank''s Auntie May." Ivy beamed the woman a smile before waving goodbye and making her way towards the forest. Her shoulder-length green hair, the color of ivy itself, bounced up and down ever so slightly with each of her steps. Her golden eyes scanned the area in front of her ever so vigilantly. She had long learned it was best to be as careful as possible even before you reached the tree line. "It''s hot..." Ivy wiped the sweat from her forehead as she checked her supplies once more. Besides the basket on her back, she had to make sure she had her short sword on her hip. It might not be the best weapon to fight against pokemon, but it was still better than nothing. The forest had thick, dense trees and abundant overgrowth. The only problem was most of the plants in this forest were poisonous to humans. Luckily, this was only if consumed and not through contact. Even if you had an open bleeding wound, the plants wouldn''t cause any harm to someone. This was because you had to actually get the plant juices into your wound before you could come close to being poisoned. Chapter 2 Ivy made her way down the same path she always took. The forest had been split up into sections, a kind of honor system, amongst the families in the village. Each section was designated per household. Ivy had her own section as well, which she had inherited from her parents. But Ivy''s main issue at this time was the lack of anything to eat. Even the weaker pokemon that she could catch in her traps were scarce. It was not just her either but also other sections of the forest were starting to show signs of lower edible plants. It was not like the families over-harvested the forest either. They made sure to leave some of the edible plants of each type so that they could spread their seeds and even some times cut down trees to make new homes for fungi as well. "Still nothing." Ivy looked at her last trap in worry. She had not found more than just a few bites of mushrooms to eat this morning. She did not like to bother the other families all the time and she had been eating at her aunt''s house for the past two nights already. Her aunt''s family did not have much food either. If it was harvest season, it would be alright, but the fields had just been planted a week ago. This meant food was scarce this time of year. Ivy looked out beyond the invisible line of safety, the line in which no really dangerous pokemon passed, and bit her lip. She had one of two choices at this time. Beg for food again or try her luck by stepping out of the safety zone. Why most dangerous pokemon choose not to pass this line, she was not sure. Bu she had seen many poke moving around just pass this invisible line. Normally, her traps would catch a Rattata or two, making for a decent meal for a few days, but none have been caught anywhere as of late. The whole situation did not sit well with Ivy. She was hoping for at least something to fest on without needing to beg for food. "If it''s just beyond the edge there..." Ivy was eying the area ahead of her beyond the safety zone. Her eyes had already hit quite a few edible plants. She really couldn''t give them up.Unauthorized use of content: if you find this story on Amazon, report the violation. Cautiously, she began moving towards the safety zone''s edge. She stuck her head between two trees and looked around for a few seconds before slowly stepping through. She knew she had to be quick, so she hurried over to the finest of the planets she wanted to harvest and began carefully pulling them up by the roots. She wanted to try replanting the roots on the other side of the trees in hopes of new growth. She plucked and plucked some more. Before she knew it, her entire basket was full. The only problem was... "I moved to far away!" Ivy knew which was she had come from, but the issue was she was too far away. She had lost herself in foraging that she had forgotten she had to stay with in the safety zone line. Ivy hurriedly got her basket on her back and made a dash towards the safety zone, only to feel her hair suddenly standing on end. Without a second thought, pretty much on instinct, Ivy dodged to the left as a bolt of lightning struck the spot she had just been standing in. "Pika, Picka! Pikachu!" Yellow and black-furred pokemon appeared in front of Ivy, blocking her path back into the safety zone. Her expression did not look good seeing the creature. "A pikachu! Why did it have to be a pikachu!?" Ivy knew one thing about pikachus and that was they loved to play with their prey. They would continue attacking them over and over with their lightning but purposely missing each time. It was rare to see pikachus at all, and now, of all days when she had decided to make a quick trip past the safety zone, she had to run into pikachu. While considered weak physically their lightning attacks could kill a human like herself in a single hit. Her only choice at this time was to try to run away. Even if she knew it would give chase, she had to run away or at least try. Once a pikachu targets you, that was the end. They would not relent in their chase. And Ivy did just that, which seemed to give the pikachu great entertainment as it sat there unmoving, as if it was trying to give Ivy a chance to win. Ivy ran through the forest, her body being cut from head to toe by thorns and other objects within the forest. Behind her was the sounds of crackling lighting with a mix of pokemon taunts towards her. "Pika! Pika!" Ivy continued to run and run she did until she could no longer run anymore. She stood hunched over with her hands resting on her knees as she tried to catch her breath. As she caught her breath, she tried to stand up and lean against what looked like a wall with a bunch of hanging vines covering it. With nothing to brace herself up with on the other side, Ivy found herself tumbling down into the darkness of the cave she had just found. Chapter 3 Unexpectantly, the place she found herself in did not resemble an actual cave. There were glowing mushrooms growing here and there, as well as moss growing down the damp walls and water dripping from the ceiling. But what made this not a cave was the ancient structures. The walls were slightly glowing with strips of blue lights that flickered ever so often. What looked like rusted old tables were found strewn about. Along with looked like ancient equipment of some kind. Technology was far beyond anything that Ivy had ever seen in her life. But with all these wonders staring her in the face, the thing that drew her attention was the object sitting on a pedestal in the middle of the room. A golden pokeball. "Ouch..." Ivy slowly stood up but cringed at the feeling of pain in her hands. She looked down to see both of them were badly scrapped up and bleeding. She took a deep breath and bit her lip to try to forget about the pain. The object she had always wished for was right in front of her. She hoped that, at the moment,t she was not dreaming. She hoped her wishes were about to come true. To become a warrior, a Pokemon Master. She wanted to leave this small village where all she would be able to do was settle down and get married. She did not wish for such a life and in front of her very eyes was the means to escape her fate. At least, this was what she hoped for as her feet carried her forward on their own. Her eyes locked on to the pokeball in front of her. Each step was like a step closer to salvation for her. Her mind was running away with images of her venturing into the unknown, killing and capturing pokemon while exploring the world. She wanted to become strong so that she would never have to suffer again due to a pokemon stampede. Ivy''s shaky hand hovered over the golden pokeball. Her eyes filled with anticipation as she slowly grassed the object into her hand. It was just that what happened next was beyond anything she would ever expect and would lead her on a path she had never even thought of. The golden pokeball began to glow with a bright light as ancient runes began to form around it. The golden glow began to grow brighter and brighter before suddenly condensing into a single point. The pokeball that was in her hands had also condensed into a small ball of light. This ball of light hovered over the palms of her hand for a few seconds before shooting into her body. It was then that Ivy realized that what she had found was not just some mere pokeball. But some much greater. Her head had been filled with information she had never known before. All of it was how to operate this strange new system. In front of her eyes was a screen of some kind. It was just showing an empty window of her current pokemon. Ivy wanted to figure this new system out since it seemed to be exactly what she had been wanting. A dream come true. If what this system said was to be true, then she could create pokeballs using her soul and capture pokemon with them. They would then be pulled into her Pokemon Soul Indexing System. It was basically her own version of the pokedex but had a built-in storage for all her pokemon."I can finally be free..." Ivy placed her hands in front of her chest as she smiled. She really couldn''t believe that she had been given this chance. This chance to change her life for ever. Ivy did not have long to celebrate her newfound ability when an all too familiar sound filled her ears. "Pika... Pika... Pikachu!!!!" A bolt of lightning shot right at Ivy. Her eyes lit up with a ghostly color, overlay her vision. As she dodged the attack from the pikachu in front of her, information appeared in her vision. [Name]: Pikachu [Type] : Electric [Sex]: Female [HP]: 35 [Attack]: 55 [Defense]: 40 [Special Attack]: 50 [Special Defense]: 50 [Speed]: 90 [Can Capture: Sucess Rate 100%] The thing that caught Ivy''s eyes the most was the can capture at the end of the small window. Her eyes lit with excitement. A Pikachu would make a perfect first pokemon for her. She quickly waved her hand, making a ghostly-looking pokeball to appear within it. She did not even waste a single second as she dodged another lightning attack and threw the pokeball at the pikachu. The pikachu sensed something was off but couldn''t understand why its instincts were telling it to run. It could only see its prey dancing around the room, dodging the lighting that was being shot at it. By the time it realized something was hovering over its head, it was already too late. The pikachu ground its body, turning into a ray of ghostly light before suddenly shooting into this ghostly-looking ball. "Pikkkaaa!!!" The pikachu began to panic and wanted to escape, but it was already too late. It was sucked into the ghostly-looking ball. The ball shook a few times as the pikachu inside tried to escape, but it was over for it. The ghostly pokeball slowly settled down before floating over to Ivy. Ivy could only absentmindedly stare at the message in front of her. "Pokemon: Pikachu, electric type has been captured. Please give it a name." Ivy mumbled to herself as she looked at the message. She thought long and hard for a whole twenty seconds before finally saying: "Ellee..." She could only keep thinking about the lightning that was being shot at her and the fact that a pikachu was an electric type pokemon. It seemed to be the best fit. But mainly, it was because Ivy was horrible at naming things. [Pokemon: Pikachu''s Name Registered As Ellee...] "Now to summon her, I just need to say her name right?" Ivy held out her hand and mumbled softly: "Ellee." A flash of light once more filled her eyes. She waited in anticipation as the light began to di,m but what stood before her eyes was no pikachu... But a young woman, around her age standing there with a black dress on with yellow trim. On her backside was a yellow lightning bolt-style tail, and upon her head were two little ears that blended well into her yellow hair that went down to her waist. "Oi... Didn''t anyone ever tell you its rude to stare, Master?" Chapter 4 Ivy stood there in a daze, unsure of what she was looking at. In front of her was a young woman and not the pikachu she had captured. Her hand slowly raised as she pointed at the young woman. "Who... Who are you!?" "What do you mean who am I!? You were the one who went and threw the creepy ball at me!" The young woman yelled. She really wanted to know what was going on as well. She had come to eat her prey, and now she looked just like her prey! It was frustrating and even more so since she was now bound to said prey! "Pikachu!?" Ivy cried out in surprise. She did not understand what was going on, but it seemed the pikachu she had captured had turned into a girl her age. "It''s Ellee. Isn''t that what you named me?" Ellee actually liked her name since she never had one. It made her feel special, as if she was above all the other no-name pikachus. "Plus, you were the one who went and captured me! Why are you freaking out!?" "I... Sorry." Ivy apologized. She had no idea why she was even apologizing. "But, if I didn''t capture you, you would have eaten me, no?" Ellee furrowed her brow as she nodded. "I would have played around a bit before finally killing you yes." Ellee hated to admit it but she couldn''t blame Ivy for capturing her either. "So... Since you are my master now, what are your plans?" "I am not sure..." Rumble! "Err... Maybe we can find some food." Ivy blushed. She was actually very hungry. She had yet to eat today, and with everything that happened, her stomach was not very happy. She had many questions as well, but she knew now was not the time. "But, first, we need to get out of this place." "We can get out of here if we follow the tunnel to the left. The flow of air coming from that direction is fresh." Ellee sniffed the air and could easily tell which way to go. Even though she was now in a humanoid form, that didn''t mean her senses had changed at all. "Come on. Since I am stuck with you, you better do your job as my master." Ellee huffed and walked out of the room they were in and into a hall that lay directly below the entrance of the cave opening Ivy had fallen into. Ivy followed behind her in somewhat of a daze. Her brain was having a hard time processing everything. One thing she did know was that Ellee was not happy. Ivy could release her but she didn''t dare do so. Whether Ellee looked like a normal girl or not did not matter. She was still a Pikachu. If anything, her current form would make her more dangerous. She had already escaped death twice now, she did not wish to test her luck a third time. She knew this was a kind of contradiction since she felt bad for Ellee, but her fear would not allow it.If you discover this narrative on Amazon, be aware that it has been stolen. Please report the violation. As they walked down the dark, damp passage, Ivy finally found the courage to ask: "Why are you not attacking me?" "Well... The main reason is because it''s a new experience for me. A change of pace. Like any other pokemon in the forest, I was stuck doing the same thing day in and day out. Hunting for food and hiding from predators who wanted to make me food. It''s not every day a pikachu gets to turn into a human. So, even though I can kill you if I wish, I won''t. Killing you might turn me back into a normal pikachu. But I will say this now, Master... You need to grow stronger. I don''t want a weak master. I will help you along the way, but if you show no signs of improving I might just..." Ellee licked her lips as she looked at Ivy, sending shivers down Ivy''s spine. She did not need Ellee to finish her sentence. Ivy took a deep breath and looked at Ellee with a firm gaze. "It may take me some time to get the hang of things but I promise I will grow stronger." "Mmm... I like that look in your eye." Ellee had no plans to do anything to her new master. She wanted to enjoy this new form of hers and go to places she had never been. So, if Ivy really did show no signs of growing stronger, she would drop the girl off in a safe place and head out on her own. It took a while, but the two could finally see the light at the end of the tunnel. Along the way, Ivy had noticed that the walls were partially rock and or dirt mixed with broken, ruin walls, just like the walls of the room they were in. There were no other rooms along the way. This made Ivy wonder if it was some ancient secret base. Upon exiting the tunnel, what lay before Ivy was a flat, low, lying meadow. She could see many pokemon roaming about here and there. "This place is..." "I am not sure. But I do know it is no were near where we met." Ellee replied. The two had basically walked in silence after Ivy asked her question. "I guess, the journey I have always dreamed about has already started. Ouch... Tsss..." Ivy looked down at herself. Her knees and hands were all scrapped up still. She had not tended to them this entire time. She had also been quite tense this entire time while moving through the underground passage. "Master, stay here. There are no other pokemon around this area. I will go catch something to eat." Ellee was a little excited. She knew humans cooked their food, so she wondered how cooked food would taste. Chapter 5 Ivy watched as Ellee ran off into the meadow in a bit of a daze. Everything seemed so surreal to her. She had been dreaming of this moment her entire life, and now here she was... Looking out over a meadow filled with pokemon. She herself even had a pokemon if you could even call Ellee as such anymore. Her dream had come true. She felt bad about not saying goodbye to those in the village, but she figured one day she would return and show them that she had finally become a pokemon warrior. "Tss... It still hurts... Some warrior I am." Ivy knew she was far from being a proper warrior. She wanted to be able to fight side by side with her pokemon. But to do so, she will need to first train. She still had her short sword at her side. She had not even thought about actually fighting with a sword against a pikachu. Her only instinct at the time was to run. "I need something... Oh!" Ivy spotted a very common plant not too far away. It had what was called bitterroot leaves. These leaves could help with the pain. Ivy picked a few of the leaves before taking a rock from the ground and grinding them leaves on another rock. Once she was able to grind them into a paste, she scooped up a glob and began spreading it on her wounds. The medicinal effects, when applied like this, would result in a stinging sensation before slowly numbing the area. She made sure to do both her hands as well. To cover the wounds up, she used two larger leaves and some tall, thick grass to make a makeshift bandage. It was not her best work, but it would do for the time being. Only when she had finished did she begin looking around for some sticks to use to make a fire. This was no easy task since there were no trees nearby. All she could find were bushes. She had no idea if the stems would burn. She hoped Ellee''s lightning could make them burn. She stripped the leaves off the thin branches before sticking them into a pile next to a circular rock formation she had built for her campfire. By the time she was done with her side of things. Ellee returned with four rattata. "Master, I''m back!"Royal Road is the home of this novel. Visit there to read the original and support the author. Ivy looked up to see Ellee holding the four rattata by their tails, their fur singed beyond repair. What caught her attention the most was the tail wagging back and forth and the expectant expression on Ellee''s face. Ivy wanted to let out a small laugh, but she held it in. "Good job! I will gut them and drain their blood. Help me start a fire. I am not sure if this wood will burn or not or how long it will burn for." "If you need wood, Master I can go get some. I can run to the tree line and grab some." Ellee was more than willing to help. She had always been curious about humans. Even though she still saw them as food, she was curious about their ways of doing things. She had watched the village from afar from the tops of trees for a long time now. She had even tried to imitate the way humans cooked food but always failed at it. So to be able to finally try cooked food for the first time was exciting to Ellee. "If it''s not too much trouble." Ivy would prefer to have a few logs for the night since the sun was starting to set. She did not want to be without some form of light. "I will be back!" And just like that, Ellee was off once more. She had already made sure to check if any pokemon were nearby before leaving. She was afraid Ivy would end up dying and she would lose her new form. After running around a bit she found this form much easier to do things. She did not wish to lose it any time soon. It did not take long for Ivy to finish cleaning the rattatas. It was something she was very accustomed to and had lots of practice doing. She set them up to drain on a rock nearby and waited patiently for Ellee to return. The sun''s orange glow cast down over the meadow below. The purples, blues, and whites of the follower patches were mixed into the low-lying grass. It was much different from what she had seen from her village. It made her wonder just how far she had gone from home. They had spent a long time in the tunnel before reaching the exit, plus the time she had spent running away from Ellee, she figured she must be quite far from home now. While she did want to grab a few mementos of her mother and father she had a feeling she would just end up losing them in the near future. The world outside her village was not a kind place. She had seen the wounded who came from the forest after being attacked by a pokemon. It was not a pretty sight. This was why she always carried a sword on her just in case, even though the area she normally stayed in was considered a safe zone. "Got some wood!" Ellee returned with a bunch of half-burnt logs. She had spent some time cutting down a few skinnier trees with her lightning. Chapter 6 "Mmm... Sosh gowd. Cowked Fwood is deelpsh." Ellee currently had a roasted rattata in her hands with her cheeks stuffed full of its meat. She had always wanted to try cooked food, and now here she was eating such a delicacy. She really couldn''t get enough of the juicy taste as the meat''s fatty oils bathed her mouth with delicious goodness. Ivy giggled, watching Ellee eat. She could understand where Ellee was coming from when trying some new for the first time that was tasty. She missed the days when her mother would bake her snacks using a sugar root, making them extra sweet. Such memories were all she had left now. But at least she was no longer alone. And her dream has just started coming true. She may have had her relatives and the rest of the village helping her all these years, but in the end, when she returned home to her empty house, that was what greeted her. Emptiness. It would be a lie to say that Ivy was never lonely because she was. But that was over now. She had Ellee at her side now. This thought alone, even with all the unknowns in front of her, made Ivy feel happy. She was really a pokemon warrior now. From what she knew, to even get started, she would need to find a town with a pokelab. She would need to register there to become an official pokemon warrior. But with her current situation it would be hard for her to explain to anyone that she did not need the normal pokedex or pokeballs. She didn''t dare tell anyone about her current abilities. She knew that her situation was nowhere close to being normal. She would first hone her skills out in the wilds, only stopping in cities to get what supplies she might need. She did wish to buy another set of clothes and undergarments. She also wanted to get some light armor if at all possible. As a pokemon warrior, you had to have at least light armor to help protect yourself. "What''s wrong you haven''t taken a bite yet." Ellee was licking the grease off her fingers when she noticed Ivy staring absentmindedly at her. "I was just thinking, with you here, I will no longer be alone and I can also accomplish my dreams. I will need to work harder to become stronger but it will be worth it." Ivy replied as she took a bite of her grilled rattata. Ellee looked at Ivy blankly for a few seconds before smiling herself. She, too, had been alone all this time. But that was because she had no choice. She had been kicked out of her pack. The leader was worried that she would usurp his position, so he kicked her out before she got too powerful. It had been two years since then. She had fought hard for her little territory that she could call her own. She might have had her own place to call her own, but she was always on the lookout for danger. There was no telling when another pokemon would come by and try to challenge her for her territory. So, finding out that Ivy was also alone made her feel that being captured was not so bad. They now had each other. Whether it was against her will or not, she would watch over this master of hers to see if she would actually do as she had promised and grow stronger. The tale has been stolen; if detected on Amazon, report the violation. As night settled in, Ivy leaned up against the rock near the campfire and watched as the flames danced about over the wood. Ellee sat next to her with her legs crossed, playing with her toes. She was only now getting a chance to inspect her new body. The thing she found weird and a little restrictive was the two blobs on her chest. While they were not too big and not too small, they were still strange to her. She had been messing with them earlier when Ivy told her not to do such things out in the open. Since Ivy had a look on her face that said I dare you to try to play with them again she could only relent and check them out when they were in an unopen place. So she began inspecting her fingers and toes. Ellee found them to be very strange compared to her claws. They had no sharp claws attached to them. In fact, besides the dirt from her walking around stuck to the bottom of her feet, they were white with a hint of pink to them. And neatly trimmed. It was the same for her fingers as well. There were no claws. Not that it mattered since she had always used her lightning. As Ellee was inspecting herself, she felt something bump into her left shoulder. She turned her head to see Ivy sound asleep, leaning against her shoulder. "This master... Doesn''t she realize that I could easily kill her at anytime?" Ellee sighed but did not wake the girl. She went back to her business, letting Ivy sleep. When morning''s first light shone down on the two girls, Ivy woke up first and looked around in confusion. It took her a few seconds to wake up completely. Only then did she remember everything she had gone through. "Right... I am a Pokemon Warrior now..." Ivy noticed the fire was still going. She looked over at Ellee, who was still asleep with the stick she had been using to stoke the fire and smiled. "No wonder I was not cold at all. I will be sure to make something good later on as long as we have something to eat that is..." Ivy figured it would not be a problem for Ellee to hunt a few more rattata after she woke up. For now, Ivy could only go behind the bushes nearby to relieve herself. Only when she was done and felt she was completely clean did she return to the camp to find Ellee awake, messing with the fire to get a new campfire going. She had not even gotten ten steps near Ellee before Ellee suddenly said: "I will go get breakfast. You cook it." Chapter 7 "Ivy, dodge to your right!" Ellee yelled out from the rock she was sitting on. Since her Master decided she wanted to grow stronger, she would do her best to assist. Of course, she did not want to put Ivy up against a target that would be too hard for her, so she was currently having Ivy face off against one of the weakest pokemon rattata. If anything, after watching Ivy fight for the past few hours, it was that the girl was not half bad. Her ability to adjust to the situation and dodge incoming attacks was very good. Ellee could understand why Ivy was able to dodge her lightning. The girl moved on instinct and was something like an innate skill. Such a skill was essential for survival and perfect for someone who used a sword. Ellee knew nothing about sword skills, but she knew how to fight,t and as long as you won, skills meant nothing. Ivy twisted her body and sidestepped the rattata''s charge. Ivy would never let it get off its tackle. She also saw this as a chance to counterattack as well. With the rattata running by her, she could easily stab out, stabbing into the soft flesh of the rattata and slicing it pretty much in half as it went by. "Gah! Again!? Why does it always squirt towards me!?" Covered in rattata blood, Ivy was not happy. She was already covered in the blood of the other rattatas she had fought today, and now, once more, she was soaked in it again. "Bleh... It stinks..." "I have never seen such accurate blood squirting before it flew up into the air and showered down on top of you. Master you have some skill!" Ellee made light of the situation since she found it amusing. "It''s not funny Ellee!" Ivy really wanted nothing more than to take a bath. "Let''s call it a day then. I spotted a small pond not far from here that we can go to. You can wash up there." Ellee wondered if she should pit Ivy up against a stronger pokemon during their next training. Rattatas were the lowest of the low. They were easily captured as long as you put a bit of food in the trap. They had only a single mindset, which was why the rattatas that charged at Ivy died so easily. Since she now had a better understanding of Ivy''s abilities, she wanted to see how Ivy would fair against a spearow next. They were faster and airborne. This would prove to be a much bigger challenge for Ivy and test her abilities to the extreme for her current self. Reading on Amazon or a pirate site? This novel is from Royal Road. There was nothing in it, which led Ivy to believe this pond dried up after a while. "There shouldn''t be anyone else around..." Ivy stripped her blood-soaked clothes off, revealing her untanned skin. Her modest mounds with two pink cherries were now in full view. "Ellee, you come in too." "What? Fine..." Ellee sighed. She didn''t really see the need to bathe until she snipped her armpits and got a whiff of something she did not expect. With a wrinkled nose, she waved her hand, causing her dress, which was made of lightning, to disappear. Her ample bosom was now on full display. When she looked over at Ivy, who had much smaller breasts, Ellee felt smug. With her head held high and her chest sticking out, she walked into the water. "Heh..." "What are you looking at!?" Ivy noticed Ellee''s gaze and saw her smug look before looking at Ellee''s chest. Only then did she realize why Ellee was acting all smug. "You are not even that much bigger than me! Maybe a size bigger!" "I still win." Ellee was happy while Ivy rolled her eyes. She didn''t see a reason to have a contest over breast size. It was not like she could do anything about it. "Anyway, putting my chest to the side, what do you think of my current abilities?" Ivy had been wanting to hear Ellee''s honest opinion. "I am no swordmaster so I am not sure about the sword, but I can tell you that you are good at evasion. I want you to fight a spearow after we finish up here and eat some food. If you can dodge a spearow, I don''t think you will have much trouble with other pokemon especially once I am added into the mix. But before I jump in I think you should practice alone for a few more days until you get the hang of it. Since I will not always be able to protect you." Ellee answered honestly. She felt that they would make a good match while fighting together. As long as Ivy could keep herself safe, Ellee knew she wouldn''t have any problems fighting stronger pokemon. "I will do as you say. But this will only get us so far. I will need to find a way to get some proper training with a sword as well. Maybe look into a bow for situations that do not allow me to get near." Ivy had thought about this as well while fighting today. She wondered how she would fight against ranged pokemon. It would not be easy to get in close. "I think that is a good idea as well. Dunk your head, I will help you get the blood out of your hair." Ellee motioned for Ivy to come closer. The two girls bathed for a while before finally getting out. Ivy had to wash her clothes off and dry them, so she was forced to stand around in her undergarments for a while. She really wanted to get to a town to buy some spare clothes and a bag. Having only one set was only going to get her so far.
