If you''re reading this, then I''m sorry; I failed, I could not manage to stop them. You¡¯re the last hope because if you''re reading this, that means you''re still alive; you''re not gone yet, that means we still have a small chance. I''ll brief you on their known weaknesses. They don''t have much; believe me, I should know. ¡°No.1: they are weak to fire.¡± ¡°No.2: they are slowed in direct sunlight.¡± ¡°No.3: if they get too hungry. They will eat one another.¡± That is all I know. There are 3 types: First, the white ones, they are fast but are not that strong. If you can predict them, you can win. Second, the gray ones; they are slow, but strong. Just run if you see them. You can''t beat them in strength. Third, the blood red ones; not much is known, but what i know is they¡¯re the only ones that aren''t weak to fire or hunger, they are fast; faster than the white ones, stronger than the gray ones and they can''t be hurt by bullets. They also have amazing hearing; they can hear your blood running through your veins, the thump of your heart beat, if they are near, you can''t run, you can''t fight, they will find you. You can''t win, don''t try. All you can do is try to hide and hope it does not hear you; if it does, you''re dead. Dead before you know where they came from, just pray you don''t run into them. I know I said not much was known about them, I meant we don''t have any way to find out how to kill them. We do know one thing about them though they can''t see well so just hide if you know one is near its all you can do that''s all i can give you to help your on your own now. Log day 2002 i did it i found a weakness i found another one its a white one i dug a pit and it filled with snow and than the white one fell in they cant stand water the whites body started to well melts the best word for it and there blood or thats what i think it is is black and cold not because its dead it doesn''t cool that fast nothing should cool that fast but i wonder if i can make armor out of its skin or weapons out of its bones they fight each other when hungry enough right so then if i make weapons from this it should be a big help i wonder if its edible would be nice if it was i will take any food at this point im running low but ill test it on some animals near by first. Log day 2003 ok so it appears to be well how to put this edible but barely the animals that ate it didnt die but seemed to be in some pain but it is edible so i wont starve this winter the last couple i just got lucky this time i know ill be fine or i hope so can never be to sure about really anything ill work on making some weapons tomorrow. Log day 2004 ok so i can probably make some sort of dagger not going to be able to make a sword or anything fancy like that but maybe a spear and a dagger would be enough it will give me more of a fighting chance still no luck on how to make armor but i wont be beat that easily. Log day 2005 making some progress on the armor the spear is about done the dagger is taking a bit more work than i thought it would but progress is progress right. Log day 2006 ok dagger complete now the armor is making more progress a couple more days and ill have a chest plate at least. Log day 2007 ok so i did the chest piece now for the arms and legs if anything is left ill make a bag if i can. Log day 2008 ok so the armor is done starting work on the bag i dont have much left to use but i could make something to store water at least it should be done by tomorrow. Log day 2009 ok water bag is done now what i have food i have water from the snow i should try to make something to keep warm i dont have much tho ill have to head out for a bit later to try and find something to keep the heat in just about anything will work . log day 2010 ok i found something dont know how well it will work its some feathers some moss and some tree bark i could probably make a small pillow with the feathers if i can find a bird or any animal for its skin well see but i can use the tree bark line it with moss and that should help keep warm.Stolen content warning: this content belongs on Royal Road. Chapter 3 land of darkness Log day 2011 i think its day at least i cant see well not well at least i can see about 2 feet in front of me ill look for the fire starting stuff where is it oh here it is ok let try and get one going see if that makes a difference ok so i can see about an extra like 3 feet so not much but its something i have an idea of making torches and making an 7 by 7 foot area around my little hole in the ground with them and use torches so i can see in that 7 by 7 i should have stuff to make at least one torch so i can use that to go find more stuff to make more torches i want to have enough of them to last about 4 months just in case ill do that later right now i just have to focus on making one torch than ill worry about making more ill just do the log after every time i sleep not like i can use the sun to tell if its day. Chapter 6 pain Log day 2028 ok so i have done some thinking and i have come to the conclusion that i need answers i could not sleep last night thinking of answers until i heard a loud inhuman scream not like any ive heard before this could be a problem cause i also hear loud thumps almost lie something was smashing something big into the ground not sure what it was but it sounded close i will just hope i dont run into it until then i will have to keep searching for food i miss counted the food and re did it this morning and we have less then i thought we will run out within like 2 or 3 days so i need to find food and fast another thing to note is the blood seems thicker and in alot more abondance almost like something is bleeding every where but to do this it would have to huge like as tall as a mountain lets hope its not real. Log day 2029 fuck thats not good i found out what it is what is making all that noise and what might be the cause of this blood so this afternoon i was outside and heard loud thumps then the sky got all dark so when i looked up you know what i had seen it wa a pair of legs leading to the sky it walked right over us sure there was a body but you could only see it once it got further away cause when it was right next to me all i could see was the legs i mean the legs them selfs are in the clouds one problem it appears to be turning around wait shit it is its wait its running bob get lilly and go in the base hurry now.*thump* fuck not enough time they wont make it. The narrative has been stolen; if detected on Amazon, report the infringement. next chapter coming soon Chapter 7 new sun Log day 2032 i have now do a log past few day been more focused on other things ya know it turns out theres another sun i mean at this point nothing will shock me but it is way to hot like i mean you can fry literally anything on something that contains even a little heat so me and bob have been making a plat form that we will set up on trees so there is always a roof to stop the sun now a good thing about this is that it has made most of the blood go away and im finding food again now i have yet to hear or see that thing again which is good and lilly is doing fine still unconscious tho i found berries are best to feed when shes unconscious they are easy to condense into a liquid which will flow well into the tube i just hope lilly will wake soon because i dont know how long i will be able to find berries cause of this heat it will end up destroying all the food. Log day 2033 god its getting really hot like almost to hot to sleep this cant be good for lilly shes still passed out we need to do something and fast or this could end badly the shade can only do so much to help with the heat any water we had stored seems to be evaporating so not sure what to do about that and another thing because of this heat all the food will spoil in like 24 hours no matter what if we dont do something and fast it wont just be lilly life we have to worry about it will be both of ours cause damn it is way to hot i do have a few ideas tho on what to do about this sun or at least to minimize the heat not many tho but cant waste any time so i will stop the log here. Log day 2034 so far not much has helped ive tired i few things and nothing seems to help and the heat only seems to be getting worse and lilly seems to be getting to hot if i dont do something fast she may die by as soon as the next 2 days oh and bob is doing his best to combat the heat but i need something im missing something there is always an answer no matter how absurd ive made it this far ive lived this long i will not die to some heat i am missing something there has to be something that can help wait what if its like the blinding where i have to beat something first before it goes away i mean its possible not sure the likely hood of it tho but it is possible but then theres the question of am i ready to fight something like that i mean i beat that last one off 100 percent chance and nothing els but how long will i have luck i mean its only a matter of time before it runs out and i just dont want it to run out before i can make sure lillys safe but again i still have no clue how long thats going to take and then i have to ask my self if i am going to fight what ever it is if it even is something i can fight like if its a natural thing not much i can do or if its like a god again not much i can do but on the offf chance it is something that i cant touch there for harm the question is where is it how would i find it i mean not like it will just appear in front of me randomly one day i mean i can hope and if it does as long asa im ready thats would be great but it wont happen and then can i realy leave bob and lilly here alone i guess bob should be able to keep lilly safe but then how do i know if it even exists cause if it does not then i would not know i would never be able to come back or what if i get lost and bob goes to find me and something happens to him making lilly be all alone just just like i was no matter if she is awake or not no one should ever be alone like that it is true hell i mean its a wonder i didnt go more insane then i am i guess i owe it to this recorder other wise i could have fully lost it by now well enough talking to my self i need to find out what to do if theres even something i can do i dont have much time left to think 2-3 days tops before lillys life is danger and i dont think i could handle that at all. Chapter 8 flutes call Log day 2036 hmm soo not sure how to say this but it looks like the sun new sun is closer then it was before what do you think bob ¡°yea and not just a little it looks like it has gotten a lot closer over night that definitely wont be good¡± but wait think about this it appears to be getting cooler but then wait that makes no sense if its getting closer it should heat up i mean im not complaining but still we still have to be vigilant no way to know when it will heat up again so for the mean time lets continue on coating the walls because i dont know why it cooled down but theres the chance it will heat up again however im glad it did it will by me some time for now now this does let me know that i wont have to try to fight some sort of like god to get it to cool down cause that would suck no way i could do that i mean i can barely take care of hell watchers much less something that controls a fucking sun wait look it seems to be really moving now it its falling but lets think about logically a sun cant fall then that means its not a sun like thing it is something like a physical object and its falling fast BOB get over here now i need you to watch lilly ill be back.
