    Carrion took the pouch and looked inside. There were over 100 gold coins in this little bag. After thinking for a second carrion asked from the system in his mind.

Carrion only chose the lowest tier because the higher tiers are locked right now. He wanted people to protect them until they found a safe place. Carrion wasn''t stupid, he knew how dangerous the Sorthyos jungles were and neither he nor her mother was a good fighter. He bought the three infantries to protect them if the enemy got too close and he bought archers to make sure the enemy didn''t get too close. Suddenly some of the gold coins in his hands disappeared and in front of him, 5 shiny silver-colored human figures started to appear.

This ball of energy forces itself into the shells resting near the end of the magazine and the shells fire out of the barrel using the force of the energy ball with a lot of power and strike the object in front of it. This force is enough to make holes in a person with leather armor. Even if the person didn''t die from the blast, mana is naturally poisonous to the human body and he will die after a few seconds. The stock is used to balance the gun when it is fired, and you can refill a mana stone with the valve you see on the center of the ride side of the gun and shells with the magazine below.]

The 4 soldiers moved from the places they were summoned and circled him and his mother in a defense stance while the 2 archers were ahead of them monitoring the sight ahead.

    Carrion immediately turned and saw 7 muscular men with long arms and slopped foreheads running towards them in an unorderly manner. Their skin was brown, had coarse black hair and they had white paintings all over their body like tattoos.


    "$%##@$#%@%@" the one leading them shouted while the two archers aimed their guns at the approaching targets. Once they were in the range two riflemen fired their gun with the sound of a glass shattering but in a high pitch. With that song, two shells of white light flew out from the barrels of the guns hitting one of the leading enemies in the head while the behind one was hit in the stomach. As soon as the shells were hit two victims fell to the ground. One person was lifeless while the other person was cursing in the same gibberish language dying in a low painful death of bleeding. When the two fell the others stopped running and stared at the fallen comrades. Dread in the air finally caught up to them and crawled up to their hearts except for one. Fear was beginning to manifest in these poor souls who followed their leader out of nowhere to attack a strange group of people who clearly smelled of danger. While the uncivilized barbarians were regretting their life decision two of the soldiers rushed toward the group with their swords unshielded and archers were ready to fire again with the reload of the shell and the needed rest of the mana stone (if triggered too much too frequently this low-level mana stone will burst injuring the wielder). The two guns were fired again killing two people nearest them in a heartbeat.


    Instantly the remaining three people turned their heads, and the soldiers were already near them and their swords were ready to slice anything in their path to bits. The leading soldier slashed the sword upwardly and severed the head of the stunned man in an instant. The soldier beside him stabbed the nearest enemy in the stomach and split it open horizontally making the intestines come out. The man fell while the only one standing was the one in front of the soldiers.


    The enemy leader was ready, he was neither stunned nor scared, and he had a determined face. Two of the soldiers rushed to him with their blood-soaked swords. When one was the soldiers slashed at him from up, he evaded caught the soldier by the neck, and kicked the other one with a lot of force he went flying crashing into a nearby tree.


    "@#@%#$%#@$#$%" The primitive man cursed angrily and started biting the face of the soldier. The soldier screamed like a pig caught in a trap. The primitive man ripped the skin of the soldier''s face outward revealing A gruesome bloody scene. Primitive man pressed both of his hands on the soldier''s head and smashed it like a potato. While all these scenes were going on the archers were done reloading their guns and started to fire on the leader. One bullet went through the former leader''s right eye while the other went through the mouth instantly the ma fell dead while dropping the lifeless body of the soldier to the ground.


    Carrion was watching the carnage from a distance with an unknown feeling he had never heard before and he knew at that moment that surviving in this world wasn''t going to be easy like he thought it would be.

    The sun was beginning to set and the dangers that come with dark were already present in Sorthorys, Fortunately, Carrion was not in the danger zone. Carrion was walking toward the big building in the middle. It was big but wasn''t that big. It was like a mansion in old movies that nobility had. It didn''t have that much height but it was at least a few hundred meters long. As I was getting near I saw over a thousand people in different tires gathered in an orderly looking at the direction I was coming from.


    Carrion ordered the soldiers and archers to stay vigilant.


    [System, do you know what''s going on?]


    [These are the people that came with the castle, There are 1000 guards, 50 maids, a butler,5 chefs,10 Gardeners, and 3 grooms who take care of horses. They are here to welcome their new king.]


    When the system is finished the group has already arrived at their destination. Carrion looked in front of the people gathered they were all looking at him in a respected manner. Out of the lot, an old-looking man stepped out and walked toward him with his hand behind him. After coming a fairly close the old man smiled and bowed.


    "Welcome home, Your Highness we have long awaited your return." Butler and all the people behind him said in unison. Carrion was a little surprised not that much while his mother was dumbfounded she was confused inside confusion. She felt like over 1000 people had gathered and played a prank on her.

My son Is no king he isn''t even a high-ranking noble, both me and my husband''s families are only minor nobles just and we didn''t even have enough money to buy a couple of guards to protect us and these people are calling my son Your Highness. What is going on?] These were the thoughts on her mind but she dared to not speak her mind in a situation like this she promised herself that once they were alone she would get to the bottom of this.

    Butler guided the group into the castle grounds with every other person except the guards. After turning towards the guard who was carrying the dead body carrion said.

    They probably went to their duty of guarding the city. It was night already when Carrion entered the castle grounds first thing his eye caught was the garden. The path leading to the castle was through the garden. The whole front yard was a massive garden and there were white shining objects on thin metal bars scattered all around it giving the garden mesmerizing beauty under the dazzling moonlight. These shining objects were obviously small mana stones.


    After passing through the garden the group came to a small cleared area with grass grown in patterns. In the middle was a small pond with two lions facing their way on both sides. Water has absorbed the moon''s light and the whole pond shined in a calming relaxing way. After passing the pond there was the entrance to the mansion. The door was decorated with beautiful, alluring designs and these were further enhanced by the glow casted by two mana stones beside it. Butler hurried at a pace much faster than the 7 people and opened the door with a light push and said.


    "Your majesty, come inside, this will be your castle from now on," Butler said with excitement etched onto his face.


    "I am currently not into sightseeing, prepare a single bed for me and my mom and give these gentlemen rooms near our room as well. I am going to sleep"


    "OH. Okay my lord I will do that please follow me, You lot stay here" Butler ordered while looking at the worn-out soldiers.


    "No, they will come with as well."


    "Okay, as you wish my lord."


    The entrance to the castle was magnificently well decorated. There were big luxurious paintings on the walls there were highly polished and more stylish knight armor near the corners of the walls. The whole place was illuminated using the light of the mana stones. These mana stones were sealed inside a glass box probably to stop someone from touching them. In the main hall, there was a big door (even bigger than the door at the entrance) in the center in the middle of the stairs leading to the second floor.


    "That''s the throne room, Your Majesty, you will meet your loyal subjects there and make decisions," Butler informed me after noticing my interest.


    "Take me to my bedroom for now, we will talk about everything tomorrow," I said without giving him any credit.


    Butler led us through one of the stairs leading to the second floor then he went through a long hallway filled with doors. He stopped in front of a door and said. "This is Your Majesty''s private bedroom. If you wish we can assign another bedroom for you"


    "No need you can go now, I have to rest"


    "As you wish Your Majesty, You lot can stay in these two rooms," Butler said while pointing to the nearby doors.


    After Butler left I talked to my two soldiers who didn''t participate in the earlier and protected him instead. "You two, guard my room, don''t let anyone come in, and others sleep for now, if you two feel tired sleep as well and let someone else take the job"


    Carrion tried to leave after telling them but turned round and spoke again "Remember, stay vigilant".


    "Yes my lord" All the soldiers nodded.


    Carrion opened the door and dragged his mother inside as well who was clinging to him this whole time. He started to walk inside the room while taking a good look at his room until he felt the grip of her mother''s delicate hand start to loosen by force.


    "Ahem, is there something, you need to tell me, your majesty?" Carrion turned around and saw a made-up angry expression on her face. She was crossing her arms and looking at me waiting for my answer pretending to be mad.

    "Mom, how can you even think something like that, I am your son Carrion." Carrion was trying to guilt trip her so she would ease her suspicion, but she was determined to not let go this time. She waited all this time, she traveled with her holding onto him like a little girl who travels with her daddy, she stayed quiet when all these weird shits were happening only for this moment, to hear the truth from her own son''s mouth.
