《THE DESTINATION》 THUNDERSTORM It was a rainy day. A child was born to Lady Silvia and lord Vellion. They were from a noble family living a peaceful life in a faraway village. There were many books around because lady Silvia was a teacher of magic to village kids. Both parents were happy to see how dedicated he was towards books. When he opened his eyes after about half an hour A girl 2 years older than him was treating his wound (with healing magic ) which he got after falling on his head. ----- When "August" regained his consciousness he asked her " who are you, why were you calling for me". August was also getting minor headaches but they were not as severe as the first one. ----- CHAPTER 4 - HE AND HER On the occasion of 5th birthday of his son lord Vellion held a banquet in which he invited neighbouring nobles and village people. It was a grand celebration having so many guests. People were giving birthday wishes to the boy one after another including kids with same age as August. ----- Lord and lady were welcoming guests and many girls were asking August to dance but he was very shy. That was the reason Damon felt guilty always he thought he was the reason for this condition of his sister. ----- CHAPTER 6 - GOOD DAYS I asked mother to cure Emilia with her magic but mother said it is not possible for her to cure Emilia''s disease. Mother told me not to worry about Emilia because her father was already searching for cure. They were going to a nearby village where a known healer happened to be living. ----- While sleeping at night I thought if I was able to cure her disease only if I was that good of a mage. They both knew that I was hiding something from them but they did not ask anything more about that night. ----- We were having breakfast when father asked me if I have plans to enroll in a magic institute. Me and mother were on a stroll that night when we encountered 3 bandits they told us to handover all the money we have and were going to hurt mother. ------ I was so terrified that my body felt heavy. Then mother console me and told me to close my eyes. I mean iam not a bad child that do not obey his mother but I opened my eyes to make sure if mother was okay then I saw mother''s ice magic piercing through their bodies. Then I saw rest of the bandits there were 9 of them running for their lives because a person with a black sword was chasing them and when that person hit those bandits with long range fire magic combined with blade I recognised "flamebearer" my father''s sword. Bandits head was cut clean in one single strike that night I came to know who my parents really were "Heroes " I was worried about them being hurt but I came to know that it was not then who needed protection it was bandits. After that incident I made a decision to be as strong warrior as my father and a mage as good as my mother. ----- CHAPTER 8 - ADVENTURER Mother was very furious with my this decision she couldn''t even bear a thought of her one and only child getting hurt. But father knew it will be a useful experience for me he said yes only on one condition that an adult will be going with me as guardian. ----- Father knew many adventurers. He called two of his fellow adventurers Red and Reneir . They were both assassin type A rank adventurers. Red allowed me to accompany him to a dungeon raid. Renier was going to meet us after the raid. ----- I began my journey as an adventurer by registering myself in adventurers guild I was given rank of D class adventurer based on according to how much mana I can manipulate. And I didn''t show them all of it ofcourse because I wanted to start everything from zero. I killed many types of monsters like goblins, orcs etc. I leveled quite a lot during this time Red who didn''t talk too much during our journey was also shocked to see my rank A when we got it checked. ----- But we were heading to a dungeon so I was more excited about that. We met other adventurers at the dungeon entrance. When we were all caught up we began exploring this dungeon. All for nothing this dungeon was of lower level than I expected it had only weak monsters inside which died of shock upon seeing us. ----- After this disappointment of a dungeon we headed to the closest guild where Reineir told us to meet her. Upon meeting her she said she was also going to that dungeon but after hearing other adventurers she dropped that plan. ----- Now she was going to a dungeon called "dungeon of ruins" this naturally piqued my interest. But Reineir said she can''t take me with her due to higher risk involved in this mission. ----- It wasn''t easy to convince her but she said yes on one condition that if things felt dangerous to me she will take me back to my home that instant. ----- CHAPTER 9 - THE UNCONQUERABLE DUNGEON Along the way to dungeon I became more acquainted with Reneir she was quite the talker. She told me about many adventures she had alongwith my father. ---- After two months we were finally here here "the dungeon of ruins". We entered in that dungeon with a party of 11 members 3 mages ,4 A class warriors , 3 assassin type adventures and myself. The issue with those who fight with strength was that they weren''t able to stabilize their minds as a result not having much of an advantage with magic, mages sure were skilled with magic but slow due to long incantations. ----- And they weren''t even able to use different types of magic therefore specializing only in single type of magic. I woke up at middle of the night because of my headache. It started upon entering the dungeon and kept getting worse and worse . I never told Reineir to think she would worry. She killed every monster in less then a minute which stood in her path avoiding floor bosses she at last reached last floor hearing a loud roar... ----- CHAPTER 10 - SNOWBLADE Upon reaching last floor Reneir saw something terrifying yet extraordinary. She saw an S level disaster class monster but it wasn''t as terrifying as that kid overflowing with mana energy was walking towards that monster barehanded. ----- Monster gave a roar again to warn August but he was just charging in the direction of that voice. Scared for August , Reneir ran to grab him but monster had initiated it''s attack it was too late for her to save the young boy. ----- When that monster came in contact with the energy coming from august it was like he felt a heavy blow . the monster was slain . A clean cut through his heart without even lifting a finger. "How ? How''s he able to do it" said Reneir. As monster was killed he stood there UNFAZED. As he regained his consciousness AUGUST saw something glowing in the dungeon crest he opened the crest. August pulled the blade out of its sheath. in the process he got a minor cut by blade. His blood got on the blade sealing his fate with the sword . The blade of the sword was as shiny as snow therefore called as "SNOWBLADE" one of the ancient 3 swords. ----- (AUG) : as I regained my senses I was holding a beautiful sword. I accepted it as my destiny. Earth began to shake (rumbling every where) Supreme guardian benemoth was awake. ----- It was a monster described in legends and I''ve only seen in books. I began to run towards exit. I don''t know why but Reneir was just lying there In shock. I took her to the safezone and gave her water to drink . Because of destruction around us it was very likely a monster attack on our party members when we were gone . After few minutes Reneir regained her senses apologising and asked me if i was okay. ----- Benemoth was heading towards outer floor so we were getting out of there as well. We met other party members who were fighting for their lives against a monster swarm. 4 of our party members were already dead. ----- We were trapped in the middle of supreme guardian and other floor monsters. Reneir and i were taking out monsters. We were already done with the monsters but then benemoth finally arrived. At that time we had no choice but to fight it until our last breath. ----- We fought it nonstop we kept cutting it''s limbs but it kept regenerating. When I was about to collapse I thought of a plan to use my very last strength to make a killing blow by combining magic with a weapon. I knew the sword i was carrying was on its breaking point. Then i used the SNOWBLADE and made a clean cut from his head to heart. i was''nt able to use mana of the blade i knew that would be too much for my body. monster was dead, I collapsed. The next thing I remember is waking up outside the dungeon. ----- CHAPTER 11 - FOREST SPIRIT I woke up and saw Reneir worried about me. I asked her " is it dead?" She hugged me and started crying. Suddenly I felt something coming out of the dungeon and told Reneir " it''s not over yet, keep your guard up". We both felt it coming towards us but there was no one to be seen. Winds began to grow stronger as it approached us, after the dust settled we saw an elf standing in front of us. He had some kind of aura around himself which for some reason doesn''t appeared to be hostile towards us. ----- I asked him "who are you ??" " A humble soul that was trapped in this dungeon" -said the elf. "I thank you from the depths of my heart o'' young adventurers. You killed the supreme guardian who trapped me in this dungeon. " According to that man he was some kind of elvian god who was tricked by benemoth into forming some kind of pact providing endless regeneration to the monster. He was released after benemoth died. Alright I''ll give you the ''medicine of life'' that can cure any disease in this mortal world." ----- He handed me that medicine and said " I''ll be watching over you, you''ve piqued my interest ''KING RAGNAR" and vanished in the thin air. I was surprised that he knows about my dreams perhaps one day I''ll get to meet him again and I would ask him about it. ----- We stayed night at the nearest town and tomorrow we were heading to the capital. I was very happy "Emilia will no longer suffer not anymore" At midnight I woke up because someone was knocking on the door. I opened the door. It was Red, he was very exhausted I told him to rest but he said "there''s no time to rest, I''ve a bad news" ----- CHAPTER 12 - MOTHER AND FATHER It happened two days ago when Red heard some rumours of bandit attack on our village. He contacted with nearby adventurer guild and the rumours were true. ----- Mother used to weekly write me letters asking about my health and adventures. "Come to think of it last letter I received from my mother was 3 weeks ago" It was very likely that this attack was somehow responsible. ----- We stayed up all night thinking what to do now. There was no information regarding my parents. I couldn''t help but wonder they could be severely injured or worst. Journey from here to village was quite long it was time consuming. Therefore Red suggested we travel to nearby town which have a teleportation gate which will reduce time of our journey. ----- Plan was all set for tomorrow. I requested Reneir to go to the capital and inform lord Victor for reinforcements because there might be bandits in the village more than we could handle. Red came running after me he said he searched all the village and mother, father were nowhere to be found. I shouted for mother again cried my lungs out in thinking that mother will come running after hearing my cries. ----- That night I cried and cried and cried but mother never came. Red tried to console me he said "do not worry Aug, everything will be alright, we''ll find them" I said " how uncle Red how can everything be alright when my mother isn''t coming back to me. Whenever she heard me cry she would come running everytime. Why isn''t she coming now?and father he told me to call him whenever I need him. he worked so hard for his son, for me so why , why isn''t he coming now when I need him most " After sometime I finally collapsed. -----
