Chapter 1: Reincarnating In Anime World
¡°Gah!?¡±
I hastily opened my eyes, looking around in confusion. My vision was blurry, but I could tell I was inside a building. The familiar scent of oil, metal, and rubber filled the air, triggering a wave of nostalgia.
Blinking a few more times, I managed to steady myself and take in my surroundings. I froze, wide-eyed.
¡°Isn¡¯t this¡ Dad¡¯s garage?¡±
The racks of tools, the neatly arranged boxes full of screws in all shapes and sizes¡ªit was unmistakable.
And there it was, taking up most of the space in the garage: the totaled BMW M3. The very car my dad had bought for me for pennies while he was drunk.
Yeah¡ if you want something from your parents, always ask them when they¡¯re drunk.
I remember that day vividly. Dad had been drinking with my uncle in the countryside when we came across this beautiful wreck¡ªa brand-new but thoroughly totaled BMW M3 destined for the junkyard. At the time, I was head over heels for anything mechanical, and I begged him to buy it. Drunk as he was, he caved, and I got my first car for next to nothing.
The thing is, I¡¯d already fixed that car. It should¡¯ve been fully restored, tuned up, and parked in the garage of my LA mansion by now.
So why the hell was it here?
And¡ why are my hands so small?
¡°Oh shit¡ my voice¡ why do I sound like a kid!?¡±
Panic hit me like a freight train. I rushed over to the car¡¯s door, using the side mirror to take a good look at myself.
¡°Oh god! I¡¯m back to my boy-self? Wait! This doesn¡¯t make any sense!¡±
My brain scrambled for an explanation, piecing together the last thing I could remember.
The last thing I¡¯d been working on was a sustainable energy source for my house. I¡¯d gotten tired of paying exorbitant electric bills and decided to build a reactor using some experimental data.
¡°Right¡ that white burst of energy¡ I should¡¯ve done that in a proper research lab instead of my garage,¡± I muttered, trying to recall the events more clearly.
I¡¯d miscalculated the energy output. Apparently, my house couldn¡¯t handle it, and¡ well, it went boom.
¡°But this still doesn¡¯t make sense! That energy should¡¯ve vaporized me. There was no quantum physics involved¡ªunless the sheer amount of energy somehow messed with it¡¡±
My thoughts trailed off as I remembered something else¡ªa figure dressed in white. Who¡ªor what¡ªwas that?
Still, if I was really back in my younger body¡ the possibilities were endless.
I nearly started salivating at the thought of all the things I could do¡ªso many opportunities to invent, to profit, to tinker¡
¡°Marcus! You up? What did I tell you about sleeping in the garage!?¡±
¡®Oh crap. And here comes the downside of being a kid again.¡¯
¡°Sorry, Mom! I got carried away!¡± I shouted back, already preparing my secret weapon: the puppy-eyes technique.
Mom walked into the garage, her arms crossed and her gaze scrutinizing me like I was under a microscope.
¡°I know you¡¯re gifted when it comes to machines, son, but you can¡¯t spend the entire night in the garage! What if you catch a cold?¡±
¡°Sorry¡¡± I mumbled, giving her my best apologetic look.
¡°Go take a shower. You reek of oil!¡± she ordered, motioning toward the house.
Sheesh¡ as if she¡¯d never seen a guy working his craft.
But then it hit me.
All my stuff¡ªeverything I¡¯d built, all the companies I¡¯d worked with, the patents, the projects¡ªthey were gone.
¡°Marcus, what¡¯s wrong? Why are you crying?¡± Mom asked, her tone suddenly concerned.
¡®Deep breath. It¡¯s only Tesla, Microsoft, Lexus, and all the Italian supercar companies¡ nothing major! I can always buy them back!¡¯
¡°Nothing¡ I think some dust got in my eyes,¡± I lied, quickly rushing into the house.
Upstairs, I took an icy cold shower, letting the freezing water snap me back to reality. I couldn¡¯t afford to cry like a baby every time I thought about what I¡¯d lost.
And so, my trip to the past¡ªor whatever this was¡ªbegan.Stolen content warning: this tale belongs on Royal Road. Report any occurrences elsewhere.
My name is Marcus Goldman, a guy who spent most of his life tinkering in a garage and getting rich off it.
It all started when Dad first took me to his garage. I fell in love with the place instantly, and from that moment on, I practically lived there, building and tinkering until I eventually surpassed his skills.
Working from home turned out to be incredibly lucrative. From wood to metal, and then to high-tech engineering, I climbed the ladder until¡ well, let¡¯s just say building a self-sustaining reactor in your basement garage is a pretty high level.
Explosions aside.
But now? Things felt¡ different. I mean, sure, I¡¯d been called a once-in-a-lifetime genius, but even I found it strange how easily everything came to me now. It was like second nature.
After the shower, I went back to the garage and stared at my first car¡ªthe BMW M3.
I couldn¡¯t resist. I grabbed my tools and got to work, fixing it up with whatever I could find in the garage.
But as I worked, I started noticing things. I didn¡¯t just remember this car¡ªI knew it inside and out. I even found ways to improve its design beyond anything I¡¯d done before.
That¡¯s when it hit me.
This wasn¡¯t my past. At least, not entirely.
The dates didn¡¯t match. I remember getting this car in 2004, but here I was in 2003.
And some of the companies I¡¯d worked with or invested in didn¡¯t even exist.
An alternate reality, maybe? Like one of those light novels I used to read in my free time?
Regardless, it didn¡¯t change much. After double-checking the tech level of this world¡
Well, let¡¯s just say I cried again.
But I wasn¡¯t going to waste this chance. My first priority was to tackle the basics: smartphones, touchscreens, fiber optics, and everything else on my ever-growing list of revolutionary ideas.
This was going to be fun.
I started crying when I saw the fat, boxy TV that could barely display 480p.
I¡¯d never worked on these before, considering them the basics of basics. By the time I moved on from machinery to technology, everyone already had smartphones and fast internet. Improving on those things was never necessary¡ªthey were already there. Instead, I focused my time on app development and systems design.
But now, staring at this ancient monstrosity of a television, I realized I needed to rethink my approach. It was like knowing how to build skyscrapers but having no idea how to lay the foundation.
In other words, I had to go back to the basics.
Just as I was adjusting to this overwhelming revelation, something happened that changed my perception of the world entirely.
The Book
¡°It¡¯s totally¡ not strange when a posh white book with golden lettering appears on my desk first thing in the morning,¡± I muttered, deadpan, as I stared at the mysterious object.
At this point, I wasn¡¯t even surprised anymore. Supernatural things existing? Sure, why not. My crafting and creation skills were already borderline supernatural, and the fact that I was inhabiting my younger self¡¯s body in an alternate reality was a pretty strong clue that the rules of reality here weren¡¯t exactly ordinary.
Still, this book felt like the cherry on top of the weirdness sundae.
I approached cautiously, keeping my distance at first as I inspected the cover.
¡°The¡ Magic Arts of Solomon the Great,¡± I read aloud, raising an eyebrow.
¡°Okay¡ this is out of context. Why Solomon? I mean, I¡¯d have preferred something like Tony Stark¡¯s journal or even Reed Richards¡¯ notes. But¡ magic? Really?¡±
Curiosity got the better of me, though. Slowly, I reached out to touch it.
The moment my fingers brushed the surface, searing pain shot through my entire body.
¡°ARGH!¡± I gasped sharply, clutching my hand as the sensation spread like wildfire, flooding every nerve.
It felt like my insides were being fried alive. I nearly collapsed right there. But just as suddenly as the pain began, it stopped.
Gone, as if it had never been there.
What¡¯s more, I could now feel the book. I instinctively knew where it was, like it was tethered to me somehow.
I hesitated but tested a thought.
Flash!
With a golden burst of light, the book reappeared in my hands.
¡°Right¡ totally magical, then,¡± I muttered, trying to stay calm despite the surrealness of it all.
If it was really magical, then it deserved my attention. I flipped open the first page, and the grandiose tone hit me immediately.
¡°This book was written by the Great Solomon, ruler of the greatest kingdom mankind has ever seen. Known as the King of Magic, I am the one who dared to defy Lucifer himself and emerged victorious, claiming 72 devils as my own!¡±
The introduction made me pause.
¡°Wait¡ this is that Solomon? The guy with the 72 demons, the harem, and all that jazz? And Lucifer is real?¡±
This was getting serious.
I glanced nervously at my garage. ¡°Yeah, I¡¯m going to need to fortify this place. Fast.¡±
I returned to the book.
¡°To those reading this, my greatest secrets are now yours. But know this: a true mage must first build their magic reserves. Human magic typically requires intricate calculations, but I, Solomon, have bypassed this limitation with my ten rings. With these, I cast magic as easily as any devil or angel.¡±
¡°Angels, too? Great, just assume all myths are real. Less room for surprises¡¡± I muttered, flipping to the section on how to build magical reserves.
The book described several meditative techniques for building magic reserves, each more ridiculous than the last. One method involved staring at a candle for hours.
¡°Yeah, no thanks.¡±
I opted for the simplest one: mental imaging and controlled breathing. Something I could do while resting.
As I skimmed further, I found a note about humans being physically fragile. The book recommended two solutions: crafting magical armor or reinforcing your body with magic.
¡°If I can do both, why not?¡± I thought aloud. The idea of crafting enchanted items intrigued me, especially since I had some metallurgy experience from creating custom car parts. Magical weaponsmithing might be worth looking into.
But then, the text shifted to something even more extraordinary:
¡°And now, the pinnacle of my magic: summoning and binding devils permanently to your will! Devils, beings of sin, appear human but are anything but. They possess bat-like wings and wield magic powered by imagination. Each devil is unique, their power tied to the pillar they descend from.¡±
I couldn¡¯t help but chuckle. ¡°This sounds a lot like that anime I used to watch as a teen. What was it called? Something about a high school? I just remember the cool armor¡¡±
Turning the page, I found detailed summoning circles. Just seeing them gave me chills.
¡°With the power of Ars Goetia, designed by Solomon himself and blessed by the Big G, these devils will bow to your command!¡±
¡°Right. So God is real, too,¡± I muttered, feeling a cold sweat trickle down my back.
The world was officially insane.
With all this new knowledge, my to-do list had just expanded.
First, I needed to master magic basics and start meditation exercises. Next, I¡¯d figure out how to reinforce my body with magic. After that, crafting enchanted items and weapons was a must.
And eventually¡
Well, I wouldn¡¯t say no to summoning a devil or two.
¡°This is going to be one hell of a ride,¡± I whispered, a grin slowly spreading across my face.
Chapter 2: Devil Summoning
A year had passed since that book appeared before me.
That made me twelve years old now, and¡ boy, oh boy, how much I did¡ nothing.
Normally, I''d beat myself up for wasting an entire year without even fixing a single totaled car. But no! Instead, I spent the entire year reading and memorizing the grimoire¡ªor is it a book? More like a journal. Yes, a journal it is.
By this point, I''d come to realize that I was the successor to a guy who lived around 1000 B.C.¡ªmeaning 3,000 years before me.
The summoning circles? Easy. The runic alphabets? Also easy. That Solomon guy kept going on about how complex these runes were and how factions like the Norse took immense pride in their scripts.
I found them ridiculously simple. Maybe that''s just the programmer in me talking¡ªI was, after all, the person who coded an A.I. Not just one, but several, for my cars and homes.
I mastered the summoning circles in the first week. Over the next few weeks, I got the entire Hebraic, Norse, Egyptian, Greek, and Japanese¡ªwell, calligraphy¡ªunder my belt. All that was left was to test them out. That''s where things got tricky: meditation, accessing magic, and drawing magical inscriptions.
For that, I chose the attic. The basement was full of firewood¡ªwelcome to an era where that''s still a thing.

After cleaning and moving some junk, like an old TV from around the 1990s (which I planned to dismantle and reuse), I prepared the space. Thanks to magic, I could use alchemy to reshape the scrap into components from 2030 and make them work.
Solomon had also learned alchemy and enchantments from the "Big G," and all of that knowledge was in his journal¡ªwhich was now mine. I''d even found ways to improve their formulas using techniques I developed through programming. Higher-level enchanting was basically magical programming anyway.
But that was a project for later. First, I needed to summon my familiar.
Drawing the circle with chalk on the wooden floor was child''s play. It felt a bit ironic, dabbling in the occult after years of teasing my sister for doing the same. Luckily, she had graduated and moved out¡ªotherwise, I''d never hear the end of it.
Eventually, I finished the summoning circle, embedding it with runes in Hebraic script to create a complex magical system.
Solomon and the Big G had devised a way to turn demons'' own essence against them. Since devils preyed on humans, Big G decided humans should be able to prey on devils too¡ªbinding them as servants.
Using Lucifer''s Pillars and the principles of Ars Goetia, I could summon a devil. The catch? It only worked on pureblood devils. Half-bloods, born of humans and devils, didn''t register as pillar devils in Ars Goetia''s system.If you encounter this tale on Amazon, note that it''s taken without the author''s consent. Report it.
With the circle complete, I began channeling my magic. The summoning required a significant amount of mana¡ªat least for me. A full year of dedicated training had brought me to this point.
The circle bore the symbol of the Bael Pillar, the Great King''s house. If I was going to summon a familiar, I wanted the best.
I chanted:
"By the covenant drawn between God and the Human King!
For punishment against humankind! The 72 Pillars of Lucifer shall be punished by the power of Ars Goetia!
Come forth, Pillar of the Great King Bael! By the Will of Ars Goetia, you shall be bound to the King of Man!"
The circle began glowing white and gold, the light intensifying until I had to shield my eyes.
Meanwhile, in the Underworld
A brown-haired woman with a voluptuous figure sat sipping her morning tea. Suddenly, a white circle formed beneath her feet.
"Hmm? What is this?" she murmured, glancing down. The glowing circle was inscribed with white letters and a symbol of ten rings.
"...Where have I seen this before?" she wondered, frowning. She could sense it was a devil-summoning circle, but¡ then recognition hit her like a thunderbolt.
Her face turned pale.
Before she could act, the summoning was complete. Her devil energy rebelled, twisting in ways she couldn''t stop.
"Solomon''s magic! H-How!?" she gasped, horror-stricken.
A moment later, she was teleported from her home.
Back with Marcus
When the light finally faded, I squinted to see who I''d summoned.
My eyes widened slightly.
Before me stood a woman with shoulder-length brown hair and¡ an absolutely physics-defying figure. Her proportions seemed impossible, and honestly, how was she not in constant back pain?
But beyond her appearance, something about her seemed oddly familiar.
The summoning was a success¡ªI could feel the bond. Ars Goetia had been successfully invoked.
"You must be the devil from the Bael House?" I asked, crossing my arms as I studied her. My mind was already racing with plans.
I chose Bael because it was the highest house after Lucifer''s. They were powerful and highly knowledgeable in magic.
"I am by birth," she replied coolly, "but I am now a Gremory."
I could sense Ars Goetia''s magic binding her, suppressing any rebellious thoughts she might have. Solomon and Big G had been thorough in designing safeguards¡ªlayers of runic "programming" ensured devils couldn''t lie outright, though half-truths were still possible.
"I see. Well, it doesn''t matter since you''re now my Bael Pillar," I said with a shrug.
Her frown deepened slightly. She clearly wanted to be angry, but Ars Goetia''s binding was absolute.
"Do you know what you''ve done with this summoning?" she asked coolly.
"I used Ars Goetia to summon a devil from Lucifer''s 72 Pillars. If you were summoned, it means you met the criteria," I explained calmly.
"Criteria?" she asked, her tone disbelieving.
"Killing an innocent, ruining an innocent life¡ actions like that. One of them qualifies someone as a target for this circle."
She grimaced, her expression turning reflective. "Those are¡ simple requirements. Most devils, especially in the old days, committed such acts."
"Old days?" I raised an eyebrow. "That''s why you''re here¡ªto teach me everything I want to know."
Her eyes widened in surprise. "I-I see¡ May I ask how you achieved this? Where did you find the means to summon and bind a devil?"
"Hmm, maybe I''ll tell you someday. For now, what''s your name?" I asked, curiosity piqued. I was certain I''d seen her before.
"Venelana Gremory," she replied

Recognition clicked instantly. Ah. So I''m in some alternate world where the protagonist gains power through perversion, and women have¡ physics-defying anatomy.
I shook off the thought. None of that mattered. Ars Goetia, as I''d modified it, ensured my identity remained my top priority. Unlike the original Solomon, I wouldn''t broadcast my success to just anyone.
"I see¡ Well, let''s start with an overview of history¡ªfrom the supernatural perspective," I said, crossing my arms again.
"As you wish," she replied with a bow.
Chapter 3: Summoning devil (2)
???????? ???? ?????????????? ???? ???????? ???????????????? ????????????????
-30 ?????????????? ??????????????
??????????????.(??????)/??????????1Never in her life had Venelana imagined she would be summoned to become a servant to a mere human child. Especially when the child, judging by his knowledge, seemed to possess Solomon''s intellect. Solomon, the human mage who was considered a taboo among the Pillar members.
The Bael Devil had only heard of Solomon from Zekrom Bael, who had spoken of him in hushed tones. Solomon, with the help of the vengeful Biblical God, created the Ars Goetia summoning system. This system, based on the same teleportation principle devils once used to prey on humans, allowed him to reverse summon specific devils and bind them for life.
But Venelana realized her summoning was unique. As her new master had mentioned, he had significantly improved the circle, making her incapable of lying to him and unable to tell anyone about him. How this worked, she didn''t know, but the more time she spent around this boy, the more terrified she became. He wasn''t just any child; he reminded her of Ajuka, the very same Ajuka who had become one of the Satans and a Super Devil. If this boy were anything like him, the Devil race could be in extreme danger¡ or perhaps, if she was clever enough, she could manipulate him for their benefit.
However, the more time she spent around him, the less confident she became in her ability to manipulate him. The boy had no interest in politics, no interest in women¡ªafter all, he was just a child. Worst of all, he could only hear the truth from her, making any attempt at manipulation exceedingly difficult. She couldn''t even make him view devils in a positive light.
The argument they''d had about the Evil Pieces had left her cringing in defeat. So, for the next few weeks, she taught him everything she knew about devils, angels, fallen angels, and all the tricks she''d learned to keep hidden from them. She explained theories on barriers and various magical principles.
But when it came to magic, Venelana was stunned. All her life''s worth of magical knowledge was drained by him in less than a year.
She showed him how magic flows and the differences between devils, angels, fallen angels, and other species, along with their unique magical energies. Then, one day, she finally saw the boy''s genius in action.
The comparison to Ajuka became undeniable. First, she witnessed what he called a transmutation circle¡ªa form of magic she had never seen before. She assumed it was the same kind of magic Solomon used to craft his infamous ten rings. It could change anything¡ªdust into a plain-looking material, which Venelana could only assume was some form of clay. And then, using runes from multiple pantheons, he crafted a ring made of pure-looking gold.
"Is this... one of Solomon''s rings?" she asked, some trepidation in her voice.
"No," the boy answered casually as he picked up the ring from the circle. "This is my foci."
"Foci? Like a mage''s staff?" she asked, relieved.
"Yes. This will allow me to cast magic in a similar way to devils," he explained, as if it were the simplest thing in the world.
Her eyes widened as the implications hit her. Devil magic, one of the main reasons humans agreed to become reincarnated devils, was versatile and deadly. Now, a twelve-year-old human had created an artifact capable of using it. What could he accomplish with more resources or simply more time? The thought alone made her shiver in fear.You might be reading a pirated copy. Look for the official release to support the author.
"You can use your magic to build a floor below that garage, right?" I asked Venelana, who was standing next to me.
The Ars Goetia''s abilities were fascinating. I could summon Venelana anywhere I wanted, and using the devils'' own magic against them gave me a strange sense of satisfaction.
I also recalled more about High School DxD¡ªI had watched it during my "horny teenager" phase, but as time went on, I''d lost interest. I started focusing on stocks and getting rich by selling licenses for phone and computer apps.
Still, I remembered enough. Kouh, a city on the other side of the globe, was the epicenter of everything. That meant I''d be staying far away, more than 8,000 kilometers from Japan.
"Yes. All devils can do basic things like these. Do you have any specifics, Master?" Venelana replied, still struggling to get used to the fact that she was calling me Master.
A trick Solomon had added to the system, no doubt. I hadn''t bothered reading into the details of how devils were meant to address their masters.
"We''ll start with the stairs, then a main room, followed by several corridors¡"
"You want an¡ underground base? That''s rather¡ childish of you, Master," Venelana said, laughing.
Snort
"I don''t think many people will appreciate the light shows I plan to put on in the attic," I replied, rolling my eyes. It wasn''t the first time she had tried to provoke a reaction from me. I assumed she was trying to learn more about me as we built this Master-Servant relationship.
"Yes, I suppose you''re right¡ I could use some of my family''s resources to buy you land," she offered with a smile that didn''t quite reach her eyes.
"Nice try. But no." I shook my head. I wasn''t interested in getting caught in their web of manipulation.
"What about your family? Should I continue altering their memories?" she asked, changing the subject.???????? ???? ?????????????? ???? ???????? ???????????????? ????????????????
-30 ?????????????? ??????????????
??????????????.(??????)/??????????1
"Yes, but once you''re done with the basement, we won''t need to hypnotize them anymore."
After summoning Venelana, my family had immediately sensed something was wrong. To cover it up, the devil had used her hypnosis to alter their memories. I hadn''t learned any hypnotic magic yet, but I intended to look into it once I started studying mind-related arts.
Once the alterations were complete, I could move freely around the house without worrying. Nothing major was changed, just enough so I could practice magic without interference. And, of course, Venelana''s existence had to remain a secret.
We walked to the garage, and I pointed to the spot where I wanted the stairs to be. Venelana, with a casual wave of her hand, summoned several Gremory magic circles and began quite literally digging the ground. More like erasing it from existence.
In less than thirty minutes, we stood in a newly created room, with stairs descending into the space.
"Hmm... while the creation of the room was rapid, there''s quite a bit of ambient magic in the air," I commented, feeling the magic that lingered around us.
Through my training, I had developed a natural sense of magic. The method was simple: channel as much magic through your body as possible until exhaustion, rinse, and repeat. Over time, you developed a deep awareness of it. Having a magical connection to someone like Venelana accelerated the process.
"Is that bad?" she asked, raising an eyebrow.
"Normally, no. But I plan to create artifacts and experiment with rituals and magic circles, so I''ll be mixing devil energy with regular human magic energy and whatever other energies I experiment with in the future," I explained casually, with no need to hide my plans from her.
"What kind of artifacts are you talking about? Like the ten rings?" she asked, clearly uneasy.
The ten rings were absurd even by DxD standards. Solomon, using those rings, could negate any form of energy, including Touki. The only way to defeat him was through pure physical combat, which was near impossible considering he could wield magic from any pantheon and command 72 devils.
If Solomon hadn''t died, the Underworld would have been lost. Lucifer''s 72 Pillars would have been replaced with Solomon''s Ars Goetia 72 Pillars.
Chapter 4: Summoning Devil (3)
"Hmm? The rings are quite good, but I''d already improved on that formula when I was studying Sacred Gear construction. I''m planning on making much greater things." I said with a shrug, glancing around and imagining how I would set up my new workshop.
I felt the devil lady stiffen for a moment.
"So it''s true that the Biblical God left the method of Sacred Gear creation to Solomon?" she asked, clearly skeptical.
"Not quite. There is no true ''method'' or specific blueprint. They''re all artifacts that are two-dimensional." I decided to explain this to her, ensuring she was on the same wavelength as I was.
"Two-dimensional?"
"Yes. A human is a three-dimensional being, made up of the physical body, soul, and essence or spirit energy. Sacred Gears, upon creation, are transformed into spiritual items and then attached to one''s soul. They are detached after the host''s death. There are ways to make the gear physical, but two-dimensionality is much safer, as one can''t truly touch it without some form of training." I explained as simply as I could.
Big G has a system or foundation for how his Sacred Gears were made physical and spiritual, but that system has long been fractured, especially by the Fallen, who are trying to unravel the mysteries behind his creations.
It''s like a firewall for one''s OS... Now that brings back some memories¡
"I see¡ I''m sure the Fallen would love to know where you live," the brown-haired devil lady said with a forced smile.
Sorry, Venelana, but after spending that much time around you, I''ve already figured out some of your personality. She tends to joke around when she''s nervous, especially when it involves me. It seems she''s terrified of what might happen to her Devil race.
Hmm, should I tell her that they don''t need to fear me if they aren''t naughty?
Well, I doubt it, since I''ve already kidnapped one of them to be my familiar¡
So, she''s probably afraid I won''t hold back because I consider them evil¡
"Maybe? By the time we''re done here, Venelana, I doubt many will be able to just walk into my garage." I said with a smirk, thinking about the additions I would make to my ''garage.''
"You''re still going to call this a¡ garage?" she asked, raising an eyebrow.
"A garage is a man''s fortress..." I said sagely, still reminiscing about my past-life garage¡ªfive stories underground, housing more than 50 super and mega cars, some of which I had even created.
I never bothered with lethal security, though¡ªI had some of the best general security in the world.
"But¡ you''re not even a man," the Bael devil said with an eye roll.
"... Are you talking physically or mentally?" I asked, crossing my arms.
She raised both hands in defeat, not wanting to go down that road.Did you know this story is from Royal Road? Read the official version for free and support the author.
"You forget that I''m almost 13. My point is, a man naturally wants his own special place¡ªespecially me, since all I want is to tinker with stuff in peace."
"Very well, if that''s what you want. Not that I could say no to you," my devil familiar sighed. I could tell she didn''t fully understand. Well, she''s female¡
"Good. Now we need to adjust the main workshop''s location¡ it needs to be just below that parkway. That way, once a car is finished, the section can lower itself, and the car can drive out." I said, recalling my villa in Germany, where I used to test my cars on their highways.

Sigh
"As you wish..." The brown-haired devil lady sighed again, continuing her work on expanding my garage.
A Few Days Later
At this point, Venelana had become a builder, a teacher, a psychologist¡ªbasically, someone who listens to people''s stories for a living.
And then the reverse happened when she ended up being taught by a 12-year-old (almost 13) about magic of all things, something she still couldn''t wrap her head around!
Nonetheless, she found this time in her life quite fascinating¡
But then¡ it happened.
Her husband made a rather¡ arbitrary decision to engage their infant daughter to the youngest Phenex.
It was so random that even Venelana was left speechless. And her baby daughter Rias? She went hysterical at the thought that the decision had been taken out of her hands¡
"Master¡ please¡ I need to return home¡ Can I take a week off?" The Bael Devil pleaded with her master, who had finally moved into his new garage.
"Hmm? Sure. I don''t need you right now." He motioned for her to leave.
Marcus had drawn several white circles and laid out some plain-looking clay next to them.
The very same material he would use to craft his artifacts. The Bael assumed her master was already formulating plans to create some of the crazy artifacts he''d mentioned earlier.
Not that Venelana could remember much of it¡ªshe was still in shock that her master knew how to make Sacred Gears, and she couldn''t tell anyone or even write it down! Her mind simply couldn''t function that way when she wasn''t around him.
It was as though her thought process had already been influenced by Ars Goetia.
And that was terrifying.
For now, though, she decided to stop thinking about it and focus on her baby girl, who had just learned the harsh truth about being the Heiress of a Pillar House.
A Few Days Later
While Venelana had done her job perfectly, she used her magic a bit too¡ loosely. The moment I dispersed and collected it, the entire underground garage turned dark.
That meant I needed light. Then, I realized I needed water as well, since I wasn''t planning on going to the surface just to wash my hands or take a leak.
So, first¡ªlight. Extremely simple, especially with magic. I had it done in just a few days.
I could have gone with a simple runic cluster to illuminate the room, but instead, I opted for a perfectly sealed glass container that emitted pure LED light.
No magic was used after alchemy, and the electricity flowed through the wires to power the ceiling.
And the energy source? The magic generators were ridiculously easy to make in this lax world.
If the devils, or any race, knew of this simple concept, they could easily control the world''s energy issues¡ªand monopolize energy.
Oh well¡ anyway, after creating a simple air-to-magic, magic-to-energy reactor, I had the light issue solved and enough power to run my garage and a few PCs.
But then¡ a more difficult problem arose¡ªplumbing.
Sigh
"I should have learned that Devil magic trick before sending Venelana away," I muttered, crossing my arms.
I thought for a moment, searching for a solution to this problem¡
Oh well¡
"I suppose I should just summon someone who knows water better than anyone else." I recalled what my devil familiar had told me about devils¡
One specific pillar came to mind. ???????? ???? ?????????????? ???? ???????? ???????????????? ????????????????

"Serafall it is, then... A Satan who will also serve me as muscle if needed. She''s one of the strongest beings the devils can offer and is knowledgeable about water and ice..." With that plan in mind, I made my way to the room that would serve as the summoning station.
Moments later, I began drawing another Ars Goetia summoning circle.
Chapter 5: Summoning Devil (4)
~~~~~~Underworld~~~~~~
In the capital of the Devil Race, the city of Lilith, in the main office of Satan Leviathan, a certain Satan was busy working, her face marked by a slight expression of annoyance.
The black-haired devil was irritated by the sheer amount of paperwork she had to deal with every single day. As the one responsible for diplomatic relations between her Devil race and other pantheons, she constantly found herself handling issues related to High-Class devils abducting humans right under the noses of various deities.
Most of the time, it was just some gods whining out of boredom, looking for any excuse to stir up trouble.
Then there were the constant complaints from the Elder Council, who were always arguing over trivial matters¡
Serafall couldn''t even remember the last time there was a legitimate issue to address, aside from all this nonsense. It was like she was constantly bogged down with paperwork for no reason at all.
"Hmm? What now!?" she snapped, tearing her attention away from the documents in front of her. Her sharp magical senses were picking up a strange devilish energy coming from beneath her.
She looked down, and sure enough, a white magic circle was forming right beneath her.
"Hmm? I don''t recall scheduling a contract summoning," the black-haired devil murmured to herself, frowning. But as she examined the symbol, her confusion deepened.
"This¡ What house is this?!" She quickly ran through all the symbols she had seen before, but none matched this one. In fact, she couldn''t even recall seeing a white color used for summoning. Just as she was about to channel her magic, she froze.
"What¡" Her eyes widened in shock as she felt her magic no longer respond to her.
"No... way... the ten rings... the ability to nullify and take over demonic energy! This... this is..." Serafall''s expression turned pale. Only one being could do this to the devils. No¡ there was only one human who could wield such power over them!
But how?This book''s true home is on another platform. Check it out there for the real experience.
Before she could utter another word, the magic circle fully activated, and she was summoned from her office¡ªjust like that.
~~~~~~Back with Marcus~~~~~~
When I thought about Serafall, I imagined a devil obsessed with magical girls. But when I summoned her¡ it was nothing like I had expected.

Instead of the image I had in mind, she appeared in a flowing blue dress that reminded me of those absurd balls people used to throw for me to celebrate any little achievement I made. They were always annoying, but the only thing I enjoyed was seeing the elegant female dresses with their exposed backs.
"You¡ you are the next Solomon?" she asked, disbelief coloring her tone.
"Hmm? Next Solomon? I suppose I am." I shrugged, glancing at the current Leviathan.
"I see¡ so you''re like Ajuka then. I can tell that my thought process is being severely affected by this. I''d never heard of this from the original Solomon. I heard he liked his devil women as little affected as possible¡"
"This means you''ve upgraded the summoning circle devised by the Biblical God and Solomon¡ You are a little monster, aren''t you?" she said, her eyebrow twitching as her lip quivered. Serafall was angry, but at the same time¡ well¡
Sigh
"I''ve heard the legends. My life now belongs to you, doesn''t it? I''ve heard that the Ars Goetia Pillars are fully bound to their owner."
"Hmm, indeed. The devils know quite a bit about Solomon. Especially since the book was never truly studied."
"No devil can touch it. The moment Solomon died, the book was destroyed by the devils. How do you have it then?" Serafall asked, narrowing her eyes. She was now pushing the limits of how much anger she could show me.
"That, my dear devil lady, is something you might learn one day. But for now, I need your expertise in water manipulation." I decided not to answer her question directly. It was oddly satisfying to see Serafall pout like that.
"Fine¡ not like I can say no to my... Master¡" She gritted her teeth, her shoulders trembling slightly. "This¡ just how powerful is this binding!?"
???????? ???? ?????????????? ???? ???????? ???????????????? ????????????????

??????????????.(??????)/??????????1
"The stronger you are, the more powerful the binding is," I said with a smirk. "In your case, it''s off the charts. Since you''re an Ultimate Devil."
"Nonsense! The stronger I am, the weaker it should be! It''s common sense!" she protested, looking both angry and pouty.
"The binding was formed from your energy and carved into your very soul by the Ars Goetia summoning. The only way to break it is for me to die, and in turn, for you to die. The moment your soul leaves your body and your demonic energy evaporates, your corpse will still carry echoes of Ars Goetia. The Biblical God was very thorough in his design, and Solomon relished the idea of enslaving the devil ladies he deemed bad¡"
Serafall turned even paler after hearing this. It seemed that the stories about the Ars Goetia were far scarier than the reality, which was a rare occurrence.
Chapter 6: First invention (1)
First Inventions
Her, the Satan Leviathan, doing plumber work? What kind of madness is this!?
Well, she wasn''t exactly doing the work of a plumber, but it was as close as it gets! From placing pipes in specific locations to adjusting water pressure, she had never done anything like this before.
But the moment her... Master... that brat, told her how useless she was, the Satan Leviathan decided to just suck it up and do the job!
A few days later, she was finally done. His underground garage now had working water! The consequences of her actions? She was now behind on her work!
She missed several meetings, and Serafall no doubt had several piles of documents and paperwork waiting for her...
"Are we done here? Please, just let me go! I promise I will be a good devil!" Serafall practically kneeled in front of her Master. She couldn''t remember the last time she begged for anything.
But at this point, she had to! There was so much work to catch up on, and she was way behind schedule!
"Fine. Come back to me when you have several hours of free time," Marcus said with a commanding tone, and Serafall nearly smiled at hearing it.
Finally! Some freedom!

"I understand! I will return to you when I can!" The black-haired devil replied happily, thinking she could return when she decided the timing was right.
"No. You will return the moment all the important work is done. Not just when you can."
Tsk
The Satan Leviathan clicked her tongue in frustration. Her master was prepared for this.
"Fine¡ I will do just that."
"You are not my first devil, Serafall. I''ve had practice with Venelana. Watch this." Marcus got into position, preparing to ask her something.
"Serafall, are you planning on spreading any information about my existence?" he asked with a smile.
"Of course I am! Your existence is one of the worst things that could happen to the Devil Race!" The moment Serafall said this, she slapped her hand over her mouth, trying to stop the words from spilling out.
"That will be a mistake. Remember? My life is tied to yours. If you spill the beans, other factions will eventually learn about this. And two, you forget that you can''t in any way spread the information. I''ve programmed your thought process so that you can''t consciously or unconsciously think about spreading the word. Instead of blocking the thoughts, I''ve made it so that you can''t even think of them," I explained casually.Royal Road is the home of this novel. "Did you just say you have Venelana Gremory as your first devil pillar?" Serafall asked, eyes wide with disbelief. "When? How? The brown-haired devil lady is the mother of the current Lucifer!"
"She was nearly with me for a whole year," I replied nonchalantly.
Serafall felt despair rise in her gut. Just how powerful was this Ars Goetia? She had even met Venelana during that time! And yet, she felt nothing was wrong with her at all!
"It seems you understand now?" I asked with a kind smile.
The smile reminded Serafall of the devils of old and the stories she grew up hearing.
Resigned Sigh
"I understand. Master, as long as you are not plotting anything against my race, I won''t try to find my way out of this. Can we agree on that?"
In the end, Serafall decided that her race took priority over her personal feelings.
"Indeed, we can have that deal. My hobby and lifestyle revolve around crafting and tinkering. As long as I can get things for my craft, I won''t interfere with your race. The only reason I summoned Venelana was because she was a Bael and a member of the Great King House. I summoned you because of your water manipulation and the strength of an Ultimate-Class Devil."
''I see¡ So he''s like Ajuka. This is both good news and bad news. The good news is that he won''t care about Devil Politics, which is also the bad news.
I need to establish some ground rules. Easier said than done, especially from such a weak position¡''

Serafall quickly realized she could use secrecy against him as well.
"I see¡ then we have an understanding? As Satan Leviathan, I have a very busy schedule. If you summon me during a meeting, or worse, when I''m meeting with other Pantheon members, it would be a disaster," the black-haired devil said seriously.
"Indeed. This is where we''ll use our mental link."
"Our... what?" Serafall asked, raising an eyebrow.
"Ars Goetia bound you to me. I can feel your emotions to a certain degree and..." Marcus paused, then started speaking directly into her head.
This made the Satan Leviathan gulp nervously.
Such power over her was terrifying. No wonder Solomon was such a top-class taboo secret.
When Serafall first heard stories about this human mage, she thought he was just a boogeyman used to scare devils into preying less on humans, or else Solomon would enslave them.
Turns out he was so real that she had ended up as one of his Pillars¡ªwell, not the original one, but still his successor.
"I see. Then... please, ask me mentally first before summoning me, alright? The less people know about this, the better for you, yes?" Serafall asked cautiously, taking advantage of his desire for secrecy.
"Very well. We have a deal."
"My thanks, Master." Serafall bowed before calling forth her Leviathan circle and disappearing from his workshop.
Once she was gone, Marcus looked at his work table.
"It''s time¡ for some tinkering." He was nearly bouncing with excitement at the thought of it!
At first, I decided to work on some basic trigger-based weaponry.
Starting from the very basics and building it up from there, once the system was finished, I could work on bigger and better things¡ªlike adding elemental effects and so on.
After preparing the neutral clay material, I flattened it out into paper-thin sheets and spread it evenly across the table.
Once that was done, I began drawing the runic circles. The first one reacted to motion, absorbing it and sending the energy into the second circle, which converted it into magic.
Once the transformation of energy into magical energy was complete, it flowed into the accelerator circles, gaining more power. It then passed through the magnifying circles to amplify the effect before reaching the final release circles.
After finishing with the runes, the thin paper-like clay was now filled with circles.
The system for shooting magic was done. Now all I needed to do was give it a form.
The most obvious form was a gun.
Alarm clock
"Hmm? It''s already 17:00? Damn, this stuff is time-consuming¡" I muttered to myself as I looked at the work I had laid out on the table.
"But first¡ some food."
Chapter 7: First invention (2)
The next day, I was back at work, starting on the layout of the form.
From a paper-like structure to a gun that could fit comfortably in one''s hand.
It took me several days, which soon turned into weeks.
Along the way, I spent a lot of time jotting down ideas for future upgrades. A magic caster? A magic gun? Castor?
The plain-looking clay had transformed into metal, and the object now resembled a simple, unremarkable gun.
The first thing I noticed was that it weighed quite a bit for my 13-year-old frame.
The gun itself resembled a plain Glock. There was a cartridge slot for future upgrades, and it lacked a safety trigger.
"Alright¡ first test run," I muttered to myself as I picked up the weapon and walked into the test room.
It was the only room where Devil magic was present in the air, specifically enchanted to withstand hits.
For the test, I wore gloves and more protective clothing than usual. While I''d done the calculations to ensure it wouldn''t explode upon use, I was still prepared to bail if anything went wrong.
"Test number 1!" I pointed the gun at the wall, gripping it with both hands.
"3¡ 2¡ 1!" I squeezed the trigger.
At that moment, I heard a hum coming from the gun, which started heating up. A white circle appeared at the barrel''s end, releasing a burst of energy in the shape of a bolt.
It slammed into the wall, leaving a hole several inches deep. Seeing that I was successful, I pulled out my voice recorder.
"Test number 1 was a success. Key points of interest: The gun heats up. The proximity of the circles generates excess heat, powerful enough to begin heating the titanium.
A more durable material is needed¡ªpossibly a supernatural one.
The shot load time is about 3 seconds. Shortening this is necessary, perhaps by adding extra accelerator circles. Hmm... maybe a rail method for the barrel itself?" I reported into the recorder, then pressed pause.
I looked back at the weapon. I could already see some deformation¡
"Right... one of the toughest human-made metals, and it''s melting like butter? Hell, I need to check the materials used by Big G in his Sacred Gears." Recalling what I''d read about Sacred Gears, I remembered that the guy had different formulas for each gear.
The Longinus ones even used the energy of beasts as armor material¡ but that would require a specific weapon designed to counter that energy. How had that pervert survived so long using just dragon energy?
If I were the hunter, I''d go the Batman route and study the weaknesses of dragons, just like he did against Superman.
"Well, time to return to the drawing board."
"Master, what are you doing?" came the curious voice of my second familiar.
"Oh, Sera, you''re back¡ you''ve been gone for quite some time." I mentally recalled that she''d been away for several weeks!
Hmm, it seems Venelana is enjoying her freedom, considering she hasn''t even popped in¡
I''ll summon her when I need her.
"Testing a set of runes shaped like a gun. As you can imagine, it fires bullets every 3 seconds," I explained to Serafall as I handed the gun over to her.
"You made this while I was away?" she asked, wide-eyed.Unauthorized use: this story is on Amazon without permission from the author. Report any sightings.
"Yeah. I did it pretty casually. I had ideas popping into my head constantly¡ I could''ve finished it a few days earlier," I casually explained as I looked over the notes on my table.
"Since you''re here, can your devil magic create durable mannequins?" I asked offhandedly.
"Oh? Yes! I can!" Serafall snapped out of her shock, glancing back at the gun, then at me.
"Great. You''ll need to create some mannequins in the testing room. Oh, and I''ll need to reinforce the walls there as well," I said, remembering how fragile the walls had been.
"Okay¡"
I motioned for her to hand over the gun, as I needed to start with my upgrades.
"Master, I can only stay for about 3 hours before I need to return to my duties," she informed me seriously.
"I see. That''s enough time for me to upgrade this to a Mark II."
Serafall didn''t respond as she watched me begin upgrading the gun.
Deconstructing it was easy since I had designed it for quick assembly and disassembly.
Once I checked the inside, it was exactly what I expected. The titanium was beginning to deform. It could be the magic or the heat generated by the circles, but that shouldn''t be normal¡
For now, I quickly used a transmutation circle to fix it and began working on the upgrades.
First, I added small barriers inside and around the barrel, acting like rails for the energy. This would improve the energy flow. Then, I added more accelerator circles to shorten the casting time.
...
???????? ???? ?????????????? ???? ???????? ???????????????? ????????????????

"And done¡" I said as I finished assembling the gun.
"Did you just put barrier magic inside this gun?" Serafall asked, incredulous.
"Oh, dear Sera. How little you know about how much a simple wall can help in this situation. It''s not just barrier magic. Have you ever heard of magnetism?" I asked with a smile.
"Umm? How is that related?" she asked, still confused.
"You see, the barriers prevent the heat from reaching the metal, keeping it contained and generating more magic in the process.
But that''s not the main part. The barrel itself acts like a rail to build up power. The longer the barrel, the more power it can accumulate.
It''s a simple concept that humans use in various applications," I explained with a shrug.
"Says you¡" she muttered under her breath.
"Hmm? Did you say something?"
"Nope! Let''s go see how well it works!" she happily declared, grabbing my hand and pulling me toward the testing room.
"Right¡"
With a crack like thunder, a bolt of blue energy slammed into a mannequin¡
Crackling Explosion
It disintegrated completely.
"Test 2 was a success, as expected. The railing system and barrier magic fixed the heating issue and increased the power by about 150%. The downside is the recoil; I nearly dislocated my shoulder.
Possible solutions: natural magic reinforcement and regular body training for growth," Marcus said into the voice recorder.
''The kid is the human version of Ajuka... maybe even worse. I don''t remember Ajuka being this advanced at this age. He spent most of his early years reading and studying before he started experimenting.''
Serafall thought, wiping the sweat from her forehead as she compared her master to Satan Beelzebub in his early years.
Both were incredibly inventive, but Satan Beelzebub was left to his own devices simply because no one could control him. He''d just leave and do whatever he wanted, which made him extremely dangerous. That''s why the Devil Council never tried to control him.
But her Master was different¡ At barely 13, he had already created a weapon superior to those used by the Church!
And worst of all, she had no idea how to control him.
"Any comments?" Marcus asked as he walked over to her side.
"Well, it''s superior to the weapons used by exorcists," Serafall said with a sigh.
What could she say? ''Please don''t sell these to the Church?''
"Yeah, I thought so. The point is that I made the ammo cartridge area function more like a program," he said, pointing to the empty cartridge slot.
"Function like a program?" she asked, confused.
"You know about video games, right?" he asked, remembering that Serafall was a fan of all things magical.
"Yes?"
"Well, you remember the old ones where you''d plug in a cartridge to play a specific game?"
"Yes¡" Her eyes lit up with realization.
"So, think of it this way. Depending on the cartridge, the gun can shoot demonic energy, holy energy, dragon energy¡" he said, smirking.
"But that''s not all. Depending on the cartridge, it could be a minigun, a particle cannon, or even a magic cannon," Marcus clarified, grinning.
"But it''s a handgun¡" she said, still processing how a handgun could be so powerful.
"Did you miss the part where I said this item converts motion into energy, then turns that energy into magic, which is accelerated and released like a weapon?" he raised his eyebrows.
"Yes... but it looks like a handgun¡" she said, trying to process how something that looked like a handgun could act like a cannon.
"The appearance is just because of how the human hand holds it. There''s nothing ''human gun'' about it. Inside, there are 37 magic circles working together as a system.
It''s basically a low to mid-tier Sacred Gear. Low-tier ones generally only have 31 circles inside. But I digress. I can only call this a pseudo-gear since I used human materials as a base," he explained, twirling the weapon on his finger.
He felt satisfied. Finally, he was back in his element¡ªcreating!

Chapte 8: First invention (3)
The moment Serafall heard him mention Sacred Gears, she recalled the infamous Ten Rings of Solomon¡ªthe pseudo-Sacred Gears that Solomon had created for himself.
These very rings had rendered most of the supernatural, regardless of their powers, nearly useless in the presence of a human. This was one of the reasons why he was feared as the boogeyman of the Devil Race.
"So, it''s true then? Solomon could create Sacred Gears?" Serafall asked, her voice laced with more fear than ever before. Could it be that her Master was not just an Ajuka-level genius, able to bind devils to himself, but also possessed the Biblical God''s blueprint for creating Sacred Gears?
How dangerous is he?!
"In simple terms, yes," Marcus responded. "So far, through some testing, I could craft a high-level one. But for a Longinus? I''d need to observe one in action, take some readings, and study the energy patterns."
He paused, then continued, "Big G used certain concepts as a base for some of them, and I could do the same. If I can emulate dragon energy correctly, I could create something similar to the Boosted Gear or Divine Dividing."
The moment Serafall heard that he might replicate something like Boosted Gear or Divine Dividing, her mind slowed to a crawl. The way he said it sounded as if it was only a matter of time!
"Impossible¡ there are only two Heavenly Dragons, and they serve as the cores of those gears!" Satan Leviathan argued, trying to reason with him, unwilling to believe that he could achieve such a feat.
"But the more I spend around him, the more I fear what he could do!" Serafall thought, anxiety growing.
"Hoh? You think it''s impossible?" Marcus challenged her, his amusement evident.
"At its core, tell me what a dragon is?" He raised an eyebrow, waiting for her response.
"..."
"Basically, a dragon is just sapient energy crystallized into the physical realm. All I need to do is mimic it, create artificial intelligence for a blob of energy, and voil¨¤¡ªit will serve as a dragon core. Program a few dragon abilities, and I¡¯ll have something akin to the Boosted Gear or Divine Dividing."
"Even so, they won¡¯t be as powerful as the original pair of gears," Serafall reasoned.
"True¡ but what about Mark II? Mark III? Or even Mark XX?" Marcus asked with a raised eyebrow.
In that moment, Serafall realized the potential consequences. Once he figured out how to create such gears, it would be... chaotic. Everyone would want a piece of him!The author''s tale has been misappropriated; report any instances of this story on Amazon.
At that moment, her fear shifted into something else¡ªdesire. She realized she needed him on her side. After all, she couldn¡¯t kill him. If she tried, she would be the one to die!
The current Angels would never want a second Solomon in their ranks, given that most of them despised him. Only the Biblical God had supported Solomon, as the latter had aimed to control and enslave the devils instead of simply destroying them.
"Don¡¯t worry, since you¡¯re mine, I¡¯ll make some for you," Marcus said casually, as if it were no big deal.
"Hmm? You would? But why?" Serafall asked, her disbelief clear. She couldn¡¯t understand his reasoning.
"Because you are mine. My pillar, my power. Did you forget that already?" he asked, clearly surprised she hadn''t fully grasped her situation. Or were some of them just that slow?
Serafall almost facepalmed herself. A small groan escaped her lips.
''How slow am I? Of course¡ I am his. I am his power. I don''t need to overthink this. Giving me his creations will make him more powerful!'' She realized that she would most likely be one of the first to wield these creations in battle.
"I¡¯m a high-profile person, Master. Your secrecy won¡¯t last long if I display these in front of everyone," Serafall said with a frown. She¡¯d shifted her mentality around her Master, now actively working to help him.
"Don¡¯t worry. I¡¯m not planning on hiding forever. Besides, I won¡¯t be deploying ''Scale Mails'' anytime soon. Foundations are required for that. But that doesn¡¯t mean I can¡¯t help you with gadgets," he said with a knowing smile, one that suggested he understood something important about her.
"Help me with gadgets? What gadgets are you talking about?" Serafall asked, trying to figure out what he meant. All she cared about was So-tan and her work as Leviathan...
"The ones that will shrink the amount of paperwork you have to do as Leviathan," he replied with a grin.
In that instant, Serafall¡¯s opinion of her Master skyrocketed from +10 to +70. For the first time in her life, someone was asking if she needed help with her work! Not even Satan himself had ever done that!
The solution was obvious. If she didn¡¯t have to deal with paperwork, she¡¯d have more time for So-tan¡ªand even more time for herself, as long as her Master didn¡¯t summon her too often.
"You can do that?" she asked, almost begging. Not only did she need to deal with her own paperwork, but she also had to handle Ajuka¡¯s side of things!
"Yes. But first, let¡¯s return to the workshop," he said, starting to walk out.
She nodded and, with a few magic circles, fixed the room before following him.
"First, answer a few questions. What kind of documents do you handle? Are they all the same size, layout, and sorting system?" he asked, scribbling on a notepad.
"Hmm, I think it¡¯s better if I just bring some of them here," Serafall suggested, raising an eyebrow. It would be easier than trying to describe it all.
"Sure. You can do your paperwork here if you¡¯d like," he replied with a casual shrug.
"Can I?" she asked, her eyes wide.
"Yes. But first, we need to increase the security around this place. Once the barriers I want are set up, you can work on your paperwork here," he explained.
"But why?" Serafall asked in disbelief.
"I need someone to talk to, and I¡¯m sure you want that too. I also told you before¡ªyou''re my pillar. If my pillar isn¡¯t 100%, I¡¯ll find a way to make you 100%. Easy enough?" he said simply.
''So... I¡¯m basically married to someone who controls me to a large extent. At first, I thought I was just a tool for him... but it''s clear now that he does care about me. Though I still doubt he cares about my surroundings...''
"Since you want my company, very well! I¡¯ll be back in just a few moments!" Serafall said with a cheerful smile before disappearing in a flash of magic circles.

---...---...---
A few moments later, Serafall returned with several types of documents.
"Nice... this is exactly what I needed," Marcus said as he checked an empty document, then a filled one.
"Are these the only ones you use?" he asked, after inspecting the papers. The second coming of Solomon had no interest in what was written on the pages¡ªhe was only concerned with the similarities between them.
"Yes, we use a completely standardized form," Serafall answered with a serious nod, as though they were discussing battle plans against a formidable foe.
"I see... then this should be easy. I only need a basic A.I. for this..." he muttered to himself.
"Hmm?" Serafall was slightly baffled as she watched him turn away and walk toward a plain-looking clay object. Now, she knew this was the main material he used¡ªa base material that he could transform into whatever he wanted.
Before long, she watched him draw on the clay with his index finger. At the tip of his finger was a gold-and-white circle. He was drawing runes, effortlessly, with just a finger.
"Umm... Master, my time is running out. I sort of need to return to the office," she said, looking slightly uncomfortable. She didn¡¯t want to interrupt him while he was working to make her life easier.
"Then go. I¡¯ll contact you when I¡¯m ready. Make sure you have some paperwork ready to test¡ªdummy files at first," he replied without even glancing at her.
"Don¡¯t worry, I¡¯ll bring them," she winked, then disappeared into her magic circle.
Back in her office, Serafall grinned, her gaze fixed on the stack of paperwork on her desk. A sinister smile, worthy of a devil, spread across her beautiful face.
"Soon, your reign of terror will be over! Hehehehahaha!" she laughed maniacally. The laugh was borderline creepy. No one knew, but Satan Leviathan and Satan Lucifer were on the verge of insanity due to the overwhelming amount of paperwork they had to handle.
Serafall felt like she was about to be reborn the moment she heard there was a solution to the madness of bureaucracy. She never signed up for paperwork when she won the position of Leviathan, nor did she expect it when the Devils won the civil war.
Nope! She was supposed to be one of the most important figures in the Underworld¡ªa leader! The paperwork was a conspiracy by the old devils in the council!
"Heh¡ once I have the tool, those fools can go kiss their own asses! Once I have more time, I¡¯ll be able to spend it with So-tan!" She giggled happily at the thought of her baby sister.
But then, her mischievous grin faded, replaced by a more thoughtful expression.If you discover this tale on Amazon, be aware that it has been stolen. Please report the violation.
Instead of walking back to her desk, she flopped onto the couch, laying back and staring at the ceiling with a curious look. Now, Serafall was thinking about her Master¡ªan enigma she was trying to understand. She had begun building a solid mental profile of him and could discern how much Ars Goetia was influencing her own thoughts.
She could safely assume that he cared about her¡ªenough to want her company. This meant he didn¡¯t view the Devils as mere tools.
''Right... he only summoned me because he needed expertise in water. Given that he has Solomon¡¯s knowledge, he used it to bind a powerful devil, one who will be useful to him even after he¡¯s used my water abilities.''
''This means I can get items for someone like So-tan! But how should I persuade him?''
For a brief moment, she thought about the most obvious way to persuade him, and being a devil, it came naturally. However, once she started down that path, she knew she wouldn¡¯t be able to stop him...
Timing and reasoning would be key. Once he starts caring about females¡ªand understands the human body¡ªher Master would hit puberty soon...
Once that happened, she could make her move. For a moment, Serafall had a very lewd look on her face.
For some reason, the idea of corrupting someone who could build things like Longinuses made her hot.
Is it a devil thing? The thought of corrupting someone who could recreate the Biblical God¡¯s work?
"Well... Master... just wait... Levi-tan shall teach you all you need to know about the ladies," Satan Leviathan said in a hot yet bubbly tone.
A Few Days Later
A few days later, Serafall was summoned by her Master, carrying a small pile of dummy files for testing.
When she arrived, she saw something that resembled a printer... no, it was a futuristic-looking printer with sharp edges.
"Is this it?" the black-haired devil lady asked, her curiosity piqued. Was this her salvation?
"Yep. Let me explain," Marcus said, his tone clearly excited. Satan Leviathan picked up on his enthusiasm immediately.
Internally, she smiled. If she wanted his attention, all she needed to do was talk about his inventions.
"See that screen?" Marcus pointed to a monitor beside the machine. "When you put a document inside the Mass Signing Work Simplifying Machine, or ''Signer'' for short, it works out the key points of the document. Instead of reading through a few paragraphs, you only need to read a few lines, and then just press Yes or No. The machine will sign your signature for you."
"If you don¡¯t understand the simplification, you can always press No, and the Signer will pull the paper out so you can read it normally," he explained to Serafall, who was already drooling halfway through the explanation.
She had already understood what it did. It was amazing! Why hadn¡¯t Ajuka come up with this!?
At this point, her Master was already a better inventor than Ajuka! Well, maybe that was just her bias, but still!

A magic-casting (shooting) device in the shape of a handgun.
-
Classification: Pseudo Low-Medium Sacred Gear made up of 37 magic circles fused into a single system.
-
Composition: The case is built from pure titanium. Inside, magic circles are placed within barrier magic to prevent heat from affecting the metal (Marcus assumes the magic power itself is what deforms the metal, rather than traditional heat).
-
Key Magic Techniques:
-
Basic M.T.M Technique: Uses a magic circle to capture motion, converting it into energy, and then into magic that even a regular human can use. All they need to do is press the trigger.
-
Basic Barrier Rail Technique: Using barriers as rails, empowered by Acceleration circles, the blast¡¯s force builds up. The longer the rail, the stronger the blast at the end.
Mass Signing Work Simplifying Machine (Signer):
An electronic device designed to simplify the process of signing documents.
-
Classification: A futuristic item that won¡¯t appear on the human market until at least 2025, due to its basic A.I.
-
Composition: Made from transmuted items such as plastic, metal, and rubber, it¡¯s far more durable than regular materials.

Chapter 10: Arriving at Japan

So after getting exposed to more languages apart from English as we get more and more away from the West and moving towards the East, I realised that I understand every single one of them.
I understood what people said regardless of their language.
So when we landed in Tokyo, I understood everything! It was so amazing that I nearly cried! This is the greatest perk of this whole Campione thing!
"Erica! You never said I can understand ALL languages!" I said to my blonde girlfriend''s ear.
"...I forgot? I have been using language spells since I can remember." She said with a casual shrug.
I could only roll my eyes. If I knew about this, I would have started reading raw manga weeks ago!!!
"Well doesn''t matter now. We need to make it so that my parents won''t notice that we understand everything. " I said sofly to her.
"...We could push that I know the language, and you have been learning it since you have a thing for your mangas and Anime."
I nodded to her proposal. I can trust my beautiful girlfriend to come up with a solution which involves using her unique background!
"Sure thing. And since you know the language, you helped in learning how to talk it."
Now, she nodded at me.
"Indeed, this way, we don''t need to hold back."
As we continued to walk through the corridors toward the border control, we were exposed to signs with lots of Japanese mixed with English letters as a secondary language.
This quite helps with navigation when you don''t know the language. This is what my father has been using. Funny enough, he is taking this whole thing very seriously as he got a vocabulary of Japanese on hand.
I am trying to get the hang, at least on the basic stuff.
Eventually, we entered Japan, and there were a lot of people. Like ridiculously crowded! I thought London could get crowded, but this was on a different level altogether!
Not only that, but the whole exposure to this nation from the get-go brings in that fresh feeling of ''new''. New place, the new smell of food, Different cultural stuff from posters of unknown companies to advertisements from said companies which you could only find in Asia most likely ... .probably, honestly, I have no idea about that one.
After a short sighting seeing, we ended up outside, where we saw a Japanese man in a suit holding a paper with ''Valeron'' written on it.
"...He is from Historic Compilation Committee. The Magic organisation runs Japan''s Magic side. You could say you are their new leader." Erica softly said to me as she leaned at my side while holding my hand.
"I see. I sense some magic from him."
Now that he noticed us approaching, he walked over to us.
"It''s my pleasure to meet you. My name is Amakasu Touma, and I will be your driver today." The man said in perfect English, which my father understood.
As the man was introduced, my father walked over and greeted him.
After the introductions were over, we were informed that our luggage would be taken directly to our new home, which is in Chiba.
Instead, we will be travelling with minimum stuff inside a spacious limousine.
It is quite strange how my parents didn''t question why a goddam limo and not some less luxurious car. Such treatment, at least, should have brough some confusion.
Well, whatever.
The spacious car is a better choice after spending so many hours on a plane. While it was boring, I did enjoy those hours being something akin to a teddy bear to my blonde girlfriend, who slept using me like a pillow.
"While there are so many people here, just look how clean this place is!" My mother exclaimed as she was observing the city and street from the other side of the window.
"Well, they are much more disciplined, and people respect their cities," I said with a shrug. I already noticed that.
"I am more interested in all those Asian cars which don''t make it to Europe." My father said as he looked at the cars on the streets.
My mother just rolled her eyes at my geeking father.
While these two care about those little things. I am more interested in the school I will be transferring to, and of course, What kind of Heretic Gods descend in such an oriental country?
I don''t doubt there will be Shinto gods, but then I decided to ask something which has been on my mind for some time.The tale has been taken without authorization; if you see it on Amazon, report the incident.
"Do Heroes Descend as Heretic Gods?" I whispered to the blond girl of mine.
For a second, she looked at me and then nodded.
"We do have reports about Heroes descending, such as Siegfried, Perseus, King Arthur and members of his Round Table."
My eyes widened upon hearing that; Heroes as Heretic Gods?
"That''s one hell of a promotion," I whispered to her.
"They are called Gods of Steel, I suppose; I should explain to you the types of Heretic Gods there are." She said that as she leaned towards me and softly started talking about ''types''.
Honestly, the more I heard about this, the weirder it sounded¡ªespecially the whole Mother Earth Goddess nonsense.
God of Steel slays them. She turns into two beings; one is a maiden, something like an ultimate witch, and the other one is a Monster; the Monster gets slain, and the maiden is kept as a lover, sister, or some other shit in some magic binding way gets enslaved.
Not only that, but Hime-Mikos are usually distant descended from these maiden witch girls.
With all this whispering conversation going on, we didn''t even realise as we arrived at our new house.
And yes, Erica will be living with me. My parents eventually agreed as, according to them, the girl helped me become a ''decent'' human male. Less obsessed with computers, manga and anime.
So it''s for the better that my lovely girlfriend lives with me in such an unknown country.
This already sounds like some sort of plot for anime.
Once we were out of the car, the driver helped with muscular luggage, which we had with us at the time, as the rest would come later.
It was time to have a short conversation with our dear driver.
"Amakusa Touma, yes?"
The man stiffed for a second when I spoke to him.
"Tell your association that I wish to speak with them. We have ''things'' to discuss." As I said that, I patted his shoulder. There was a little bit of static electricity there for him from me.
Nothing much, but the message has been received by him.
"O-Of course! Your Majesty!" He quickly nodded and did a traditional Japanese bow before quickly leaving.
"What was that? Ray, you never told me you can speak Japanese!?"
My mother huffed at me for a bit. Realised that she is most likely the only one who is clueless about the languages; at least my father knows English.
"Well, watching all those animes was worth it."
I said with a shrug which made Erica''s eye roll at me; she didn''t comment on it.
~~~
"I thought Japan lacked land, but our front driveway is enough to store at least four cars!" My father said as we explored the front side of the two-floor house. It was quite a large place, especially for a house built in one of Tokyo''s prefectures! The land price should be enormous.
The more I see this, the more this sounds like the work of the committee which worked through Toyota to make this happen.
There is no way a company would spend this much money to make this happen.
In other words, they can easily manipulate huge companies like this.
''Good to know; I may do something similar in future if they can easily hide things from the public as well.''
''Not that I care, but if everyone knows that I am a Godslayer¡ image shit ton of people want to worship me like some sort of saviour¡.''
Just thinking about this makes me shiver.
"Why did you pale like that?" Erica asked me as she noticed my reaction.
"Nothing. I just imagined the worst-case scenario¡."
"What kind of scenario?"
"When everyone knows who I am¡"
"...Where did that come from?" She asked with a weirded-out look.
"Well, from this¡ª" I slightly pointed out at the house.
"The magic side easily infiltrated one of the world''s biggest car-making companies and did all this¡."
Erica now had an understanding look.
"This is because of world leaders, extremely rich people, like the executives in your Father''s company¡They know about the supernatural.
They knew about you. So the transition is very smooth. World leaders will hide the Supernatural as long as possible. Otherwise, the carefully crafted society mortals live in will collapse.
The repeat from the previous times will return when Campiones ruled the world with an iron fist."
She said that with crossed arms as well, we were exploring the house. It turns out there is quite a big backyard as well. Big enough to have a huge barbeque party!
"Oh? So what happened? Were all those previous Campione disappeared too?"
Sigh
"Not everyone is like you, Ray. Campione''s average lifespan is very short. Only a few selected survive for more than a hundred or two years. They usually end up dying against powerful Heretic God or die fighting each other because their egos got not stroked."
The way she described them sounded similar to Heretic Gods themselves.
However, I can see it happening when you have this much power. It''s easy to get confident, eventually arrogant and proud at the end.
"Because of such huge powers, regular mortals will do anything to make sure Campiones are on their side, like now. You got a nice house; your father is now an executive in one of the biggest car-making companies in the world.
And then you have me as well." She smirked when she said the last part.
"Oh?"
"Oh, indeed. No mere mortal man would have me like you have~" She winked at me while slightly leaning on me.
"I see¡ well, why don''t we explore the house and check our room," I said while putting my hands around her waist.
"W-Wait! I didn''t mean anything with my last words!" There was some panic in her tone as she realised that this might get out of hand!
"No? I thought you were suggesting something¡" I questioned her with a slightly raised eyebrow.
"N-No¡what I meant is that no regular mortal would get me so easily as you did¡." There was some pink blush on her cheeks when she said that with a mosquito voice.
"Oh. I see. Well, I suppose we can discuss this after we check the house."
"Y-Yes, let''s do that."
~~~~~~Later~~~~~~
As Erica was brushing her hair and was ready to get into the bed that she shared with her boyfriend, as Raynor had said, they now slept in one big bed.
Her phone rang.
The girl slowly picked it up and checked the caller.
For a second, she grimaced; it was her uncle.
She had not spoken with him for the past few weeks before the blonde started to chase after Zeus towards Eastern Europe.
"Yes?"
"Erica! Is it true!? I just learned from Princess Alice herself that you are dating the newest Campione!? Are you mad!?" As she heard that, she slightly pulled her phone away from her ear.
For a second, she thought about what to say.
"Well¡ it sort of¡ kind of¡ happened? I was there when he killed Zeus, and he asked me to become his knight; as you know, I can''t say no to one of them." As Erica said that, she saw Raynor looking at her with exaggerated eye rolls.
"I see¡ you are reckless as ever¡"
This time. She snorted when she heard that.
"Well, I didn''t engage a Heretic God or a Campione¡ like you did against Alec?"
"Don''t remind me. Just stay safe. When are you planning to return to Italy? As far as I know, you are now in Japan?"
For this one, Erica looked at Raynor, who motioned with his lips the word ''holidays'', which the blonde could understand what he said.
"Next school holidays. Ray wants to visit Italy, so I will come with him."
"..."
"... I see; I will need to think of something¡"
That moment Erica realised that her boyfriend was a walking disaster and preparation was needed. She got swept by that leisure travelling, completely forgetting what could happen if Doni, the Italian King will, meet Raynor in Italy.

Chapter 11: Diamond Core Heart (2)
[110+ Chapters on my patreon]
[Patreon.com/Blame1]
Serafall realized that she might have developed a newfound understanding of magic.
Seeing things come together like this was different¡ªthis wasn¡¯t just typical magic. It felt more impactful, more permanent.
As a devil, she could create things from her imagination. But it wasn¡¯t permanent. What she was seeing now, however, was magic done through her Master''s hands¡ªand it was permanent.
She watched in awe as he turned the clay into pure diamond. Then, in less than an hour, he crafted an entire set of tools¡ carving tools.
He began sculpting the basketball-sized diamond into a familiar shape.
But¡ something was different. The carvings weren¡¯t just normal cuts. Each time he carved, bursts of magic flowed through the diamond.
¡®Is he ¡®carving in¡¯ something? Like... meaning? Diamonds are universally seen by mortals as one of the toughest gems on Earth,¡¯ Serafall thought, narrowing her eyes as she tried to understand what her Master was doing without asking directly.
She continued to watch as he carved, day after day, until the final product was complete.
When she saw the finished diamond, she knew it was magical. The diamond glittered and sparkled with an almost ethereal glow.
Despite her curiosity, Serafall couldn''t find a chance to ask about the diamond or its purpose. She could only assume that it was the core for the barriers he planned to cast around his garage.
Once he finished carving, he collected the remaining pieces of diamond. The thought of those shards being discarded as ¡®rubbish¡¯ made Serafall grimace, but thankfully, Marcus didn¡¯t consider them waste¡ªhe would be reusing them for something else.
She followed him into the summoning room, but as she entered, a brief feeling of dread washed over her. For a moment, she thought he was going to summon another devil from her race.
Her worry faded when she saw him cleaning off the diabolical Ars Goetia summoning circle.
Instead, he drew a much smaller circle and placed one of the diamond remnants in the center.
Then, he activated the circle.
This time, Serafall saw a type of circle she¡¯d never seen before. It was unlike any other¡ªhollow in the middle. The only way she could describe it was that it looked like a doughnut.
But then it started shrinking toward the center, where the diamond remnant was placed.
The process repeated several times, until the diamond shattered and turned into dust.
Unable to stay silent any longer, Serafall spoke up.
"Why did it turn into dust? I thought you were enchanting it?" the blue-eyed devil asked, confused.Did you know this story is from Royal Road? Read the official version for free and support the author.
"I was doing some test runs. Checking what kind of pressure the diamond could handle. More specifically, how much pressure each sequence was applying to the diamond core. I still need to run more tests before I can use them for the real thing," Marcus explained, placing another diamond remnant on a freshly drawn circle.
"I knew it! This is a core of some kind. I''ve heard about them! I think my family has one!" Serafall exclaimed, a knowing look in her eyes.
"You think? You don¡¯t know for sure?" Marcus asked, stopping what he was doing to look at her in surprise.
"How would I know? You think I¡¯m going around checking everything out of curiosity?" she replied, equally confused.
"You don¡¯t? No interest in how it¡¯s made or how to improve it?" Marcus asked, bewildered.
"Uh¡ no? I was born with an above-average talent for my family¡¯s magic, and after the civil war, I trained a lot. All that hard work paid off when I became an office slave," Serafall said, bitterness creeping into her voice.
She could only express her true feelings to her Master¡ªher Ars Goetia seal prevented her from hiding the truth, especially about how frustrated she was with her status.
Marcus paused for a moment, then nodded in understanding.
"I see. Guess it¡¯s just my thing to be curious about how everything is made and how it all comes together."
"That¡¯s the trait of an inventor and someone who builds things. Honestly, I don¡¯t understand more than half of what you do. But I know it¡¯s amazing," Serafall said with a sincere and honest smile. By now, she didn¡¯t need to pretend anymore¡ªwhat Marcus did was truly extraordinary.
"Makes sense. Anyway, do you want to know what this core was based on? I bet you¡¯ll be shocked when you hear it."
"Oh? Do tell," she said, leaning forward, intrigued.
"This method is based on the same one that Heaven¡¯s system uses."
"..."
"...Seriously?"
"Very much so. While the scale, the material, and the purpose are different, the method of programming magic is essentially the same," Marcus said, his tone filled with excitement and seriousness. He clearly adored this discovery.
"Master¡ does this mean you could¡ theoretically¡ create your own system like Heaven¡¯s?" Serafall asked, her voice tinged with awe.
Her mind raced as she realized the potential implications. He could control the flow of souls, create Sacred Gears, or even craft his own angels!
"Theoretically, yes. I could do anything if I put my mind to it. Will I do it? Probably not. Creating a Pantheon sounds like an insane amount of work. I only need to look at your situation, Sera, to know it¡¯s just not worth it. The gains don¡¯t outweigh the losses. I¡¯d rather make physical things than create religious pantheons," Marcus replied.
"I see¡" Serafall said quietly, her mind still whirling. What could such a system do for her race? Perhaps it could enhance Pillar magics? The possibilities were endless. Now she just needed to find a way to convince him to pursue it.
"So Solomon knew about Heaven¡¯s system? I didn¡¯t think they were that close," Serafall mused.
Snort
"Of course not. He only knew how to make Sacred Gears¡ªmore like he remembered what Big G said about them and used that to create his rings," Marcus explained, going back to his work with the circles.
"Then¡ how did you learn about Heaven¡¯s system?" Serafall asked, her eyes wide with disbelief. This didn¡¯t make sense to her.
"In simple terms, it¡¯s like they were talking about the engine of a car. At this point, I already know what the engine looks like. Now I just need to design and build the car. And the best part? I can design it however I want," Marcus said, a proud smile spreading across his face.
"Isn¡¯t that just great?" he asked, clearly excited by the potential.
"Yes¡ great indeed¡" Serafall said, swallowing nervously.
After the conversation about Heaven¡¯s system, Serafall continued to watch Marcus¡¯ progress. Through this process, she had gained some understanding of the magical energy systems. With Marcus'' explanations, she began to grasp the intricacies of magic in a way she never had before.
As someone who primarily used water and ice magic in combat¡ªand only occasionally relied on devil magic for mundane tasks¡ªSerafall had never delved deeply into the study of magical energies. But Marcus? He was already a monster in this field, mastering the synergy of magic like no one else.
She remembered how Solomon, the King of Magic, was famous for his ability to control and negate magic. His skill in using all forms of energy, not just magic, was unparalleled.
