 His end

    2 figures were fighting with everything they had inside the void of memories, a void where buildings from the memories of whoever was inside would spawn in and merge to create a temporary world.


    ''Shin'' the 10th king who wields excalibur, his armour shining a bright gold, his bright green eyes shining greatly, he truly brought hope everywhere he went.


    ''Anata'' a being that took the form of a human, it''s powers being beyond the gods, wielding a blade that could destroy destiny itself,Leaving the gods powerless as fate could not be created orseen by anyone except it''s wielder.


    The world outside the void had been decimated, The worlds that once existed in peace were fighting for there life''s, however all they could do was stall long enough for Shin to beat Anata.


    As their blades kept on clashing, the allied forces outside were strugling against millions of massive glitching creatures. They knew they could not hold out for much longer, but they also could not get in contact with Shin who was in a seperate world. The human world was in chaos, kingdoms had fallen the world was in flames and buildings were glitching.


    However the people from all the worlds fought together in the war, to prevent the monsters from reaching ''Arghan'' Shin''s kingdom, as it houses all the portals that leads to each world.


    However fate was not with them as they were getting severly outnumbered and the allied forces were down to 5 million whilst the monsters kept on spawning. Shin felt his kingdom was in trouble but had no chance to escape as Anata''s speed matched his own.


    They kept on clashing and it was clear Shin was losing,he was badly injured and had a curse on him that limits his Magic usage.


    "SYSTEM!" He shouted, whilst dodging the incoming attacks. A user interface panel suddenly popped up infront of him.


    "KING''S DUTY!" He shouted, The system loaded for a bit before a checkmark appeared on the screen,meaning the move was activated.


    In the war outside, the allied forces were losing badly, until a soldier noticed something odd in the distance, he got a closr look and was hocked as it was something that might turn the tides,He quickly rushed to the commander. ''Shira'' The demon gunslinger and one of Shin''s most powerful allies.


    "COMMANDER SHIRA!" The soldier called out. "What is it?" She asked, her voice stern and focusing on the battle.


    "THE STATUES OF THE NINE KING''S OF THIS WORLD,THEY ARE SOMEHOW APROACHING!" He stated. "WHAT!?" She replied before looking into the distance. The soldier was right, the statues that reached above the clouds were suddenly walking on their own. The statues were quickly closing in on Arghan but Shira Beieved it to be Shin''s doing.


    "EVERYONE RETREAT INTO THE KINGDOM NOW!" She commanded,all the soldiers outside heard the order and ran back to the kingdom and the main gate was shut, there was a massive wall that was able to hold the monsters back but not forever.


    All the soldiers were sent to the top of the walls to prevent the monsters from climbing in.


    The statues continued marching and were close to the kingdom, The soldiers were holding their ground quite well however one of the larger beasts jumped over the massive wall and landed inside the the outer circle of the kingdom.


    the beast rushed in heading towards the most inner circle, however it did not notice that a coin had been thrown by someone and was right next to its head.


    "go to hell!" Shira shouted, as she aimed her shot at the coin and fired, the bullet recochets of the coin and hits the beast penetrating it''s brain and killing instantly.


    The statues soon reached Arghan and suddenly the ground in Arghan started shaking, this suprised everyone in the kingdom and they all held onto something to not fall down.


    Shira who was holding a lampost looked up and was shocked, The entire Kingdom was being lifted up by the nine statues.


    The beasts started falling off the walls, it''s claws unable to hold on for much longer.


    The statues kept lifting the kingdom until it finally stoppe once it reached their stomachs.


    As the ground stopped shaking,the soldiers checked the walls to make sure no beasts were still climbing jumping up to them. However after receving confirmation that they had succesfully protected the kingdom it became dead silent.


    until everyone screemed in victory, they had finally won this 2 year long war. They protected Arghan at the cost of the human world, but even the humans agreed that it was a cost they were willing to pay.


    however ''Lucas'' a fighter and Shin''s best friend noticed shira looked extremely worried, He wanted to try and comfort her but he knew why she was so worried, afterall, Shin talked about this very moment with Lucas before he went and fought Anata.Enjoying the story?     1 DAY BEFORE


    Lucas was roaming around the castle of Arghan one of the only buildings to still looks majestic even in this dire situation. It was now used as a base of operations to plan for the war. everyone''s role had been decided, and Lucas would be in the frontline''s as he was the second stronest swordsman, right behind Shin.


    As he was raming the castle he happens to pass by Shin, he did not pa much attention to him since they were both thinking about the plan''s. But as soon as he passed by Shin, Lucas stopped right in his tracks.


    "Shin?, is something wrong?" He asked gently, he turned to face Shin, but shin did not turn around and replied. "Nothing is wrong why do you ask?"


    However he sounded off, Shin was always taking burdens and burdens but always managed to have a smile on his face, it was what made him a great king.


    And yet right now his voice was not consistent it was...cracking.


    "Shin...you can tell me what''s wrong" Lucas replied, his tone was gentle. He walked over to Shin and stood infront of him and saw what was going on.


    "Pretty pathetic right?" Shin sobbed, He tried to crack a smile but tears were welling up in his eyes.


    Lucas shook his head before responding.


    "It''s not, just because you are a king does not mean you always have to wear a smile"


    His tone was gentle, They were more like brothers if anything, they were there for each other no matter what.


    "please shin...tell me what''s wrong'' Lucas asked. Shin looked at him in the eye and the tears were falling onto his armor.


    "I don''t want to die...but i know i will..." He cried. lucas was a bit shocked by what he said but needed an explanation.


    "Shin, what do you mean?" Lucas asked, he was more worried than anything now.


    "Lucas...we both now i can''t beat that thing...and i thought i would be fine with that...but i realized how wrong i was.." He cried. Lucas''s Worried expression turned to one of realization.


    "...It''s because of her right?...Because of Shira?.." he asked,his gently tone returned however there was a bit of distress.


    Shin smiled with tears and tried to force a laugh but failed.


    "of course...i love her and i''m sure you know that Lucas, and i don''t want to never be able to see her again..." Shin replied.


    "But i always knew that deep down i coul not be with her...But i guess i forgot that..i mean i even bought this" He cried, before he pulled something out of his pocket and showed it to lucas.


    Lucas was shocked and yet he felt an unimaginable amount of pain surge through his body. what Shin held was a small box, that was covered in a nice red cloth and had a small ribbon attached.


    ''I-is that what i think it is?" Lucas asked with worry.


    Shin nodded the tears were flowing even more, Lucas who had been alongside Shin for his entire journey knew one thing, His smiles were for the people, but not himself.


    in truth shin always looked down when no one was around, And Lucas only knew this as he sometime saw Shin looked depressed but the moment Shin noticed him he smiled.


    And yet whenever he saw Shira with Shin he was genuinely happy, sometimes Shin would have to wait for her but he did not stop smiling.


    So it pained Lucas that Shin, Someone he saw as a brother would die alone.


    "Shin..." He said, but he had no idea what to say as he was heartbroken.


    "It''s alright...but promise me one thing Lucas" he pleaded,he wiped his tears and Lucas nodded not being able to say anything.


    Shin suddenly grabbed Lucas''s arm and pulled it to himself, before forcibly opening his palm and placing the small box on his hand and Pushing his hand to his chest.


    "promise me...you will give this to her after i die okay?" shin begged him, his eyes were still a bit watery and red from the tears.


    "Alright...i promise"

    THE PRESENT


    Shin and Anata kept on fighting, while The people on Arghan were celebrating except for Shira who was extremly worried, and Lucas who watched her from a distance in sadness before looking away.


    The fight continued on until it finally reached it''s climax. Shin had an entire sword lodged into his chest And Anata looked at him sinisterly with a smile.


    "You were strong King, Just not strong enough" It said as it pulled it''s sword out of Shin letting his body collapse to the ground on it''s own.


    Shin was not making it out alive and he knew that, so he had one last move to use.


    "System...King''s seal..."he said in his last breath before his body was limp. Anata heard that and was ready for anything to happen when suddenly Multiple Glowing chain''s started latching onto Anata.


    "WHAT!?" It screamed as it tried to break free from the grasps of the chains, The chains however kept on coming and Anata''s attacks grew weaker with each chain, Until finally, the chains had binded him and trapped him in the void.


    A portal appeared under Shin''s lifeless corpse and he was sent out of the Void leaving only Anata the sole prisoner trapped as the void had permanently locked itself.


    In Arghan a loud crash could be heard on the ground which only a few people heard.


    Shira using her wings quickly flew down to check on what it was, Lucas tried to stop her but failed and followed her instead using his ability ''Skywalk''.


    As they got closer to the ground they realized all the beasts had somehow died, which signified Anata''s defeat.


    So as they landed on the ground there was dust blocking the view off what had crashed down, They both moved through the dust and Shira soon saw what it was.


    Instantly tears welled up in her eyes,She dropped her revolver and could barely believe what she was seeing.


    She knelled down to Shin''s corpse and checked for a heartbeat but heard none, But she did not give up, she tried everything.


    She tried giving him some of her mana, or using the best Healing spells she knew, even begging Shin''s powerful weapon ''excalibur'' to help, but his sword''s glow started dimming rapidly until the once powerful weapon, stopped emmiting any mana.


    "SHIN!,PLEASE DON''T DO THIS!" She cried outloud, Holding his body placingher face on his chest.


    "PLEASE!, I''LL DO ANYTHING!, JUST COME BACK!" She could only cry loudly now, as he was truly dead,She hugged the body as tightly as she could knowing he would not come back no mater what she did.


    Lucas wanted to comfort her, but how could he do that when tears were welling up in his own eyes?. Lucas could only cover his eyes, as his best friend-no...brother had passed away, No matter how much time Lucas had to prepare for this, he would have cried anyways.


    After a while, they both went back to Arghan whilst Shira higged Shin''s body as she flew and Lucas tried his best to stop his tears.


    As they arrived they could hear the celebrationsand people were throwing parties, drinking beer and dancing.


    that all changed when Shira and Lucas walked further in. The people stopped celebrating the moment they saw what Shira was hugging, they all froze in shock and many of the ciizens felt saddened by what they saw.

    DAY AFTER


    The biggest funeral in the world had been held in the 9th World: ''Land of the kings'' A beutiful word with flowers everywher and a massive temple where each king was buried and where excalibur was protected before Shin managed to pull it out the pedestal.


    a majority of the worlds had attended the funeral,there were so many people that most had to stand outside the temple due to how crowded it was, But the people did were fine with that, They all respected Shin as a king and friend.


    Soon after the funeral Shira left alone back to the demon world and it had been hours after the funeral ended, it was 11 PM Ans She was drinking alone at a bar while crying a bit.


    Lucas of course found her easily and sat next to her. "What is it Lucas?" She asked whilst chugging down an entire beer in one go.


    Lucas did not speak but instead pulled a small box out of his pocket and placed it on the Bar counter and pushes it infront of her.


    "he left this for you Shira...take good care of it" He said, his voice cracking but he refused to cry again and just left the bar, leaving shira alone.


    Shira placed the glass of beer down and held the box in her hands, She opens it and could only slam it back down on the counter as she cried once more, She slowly reached for the item inside of the box and tried it on her finger, The ring fit perfectly on her, And it reminded her of Shin as it had an emerald gem attached to it.


    Under the ring she found a note and read it to herself.


    "will you marry me? :D" it said with a drawing of a revolver and coin on each corner of the paper, clearly supposed to be a drawing of Shira''s revelover and coins.


    She chuckled a bit, her tears were slowing down and she mumbled something to herself.


    "Yes"

 An unxepected return and foe

    In an endless field of flowers was a big and amazing tree,There were 2 figures leaning against the tree in peace. "do you enjoy this Lucas?" shin asked calmly, he wore a blue school blazer and blue pants, his hair was not blond but black now.


    "Ah i suppose it''s not so bad being dead now that i''m used to it haha" Lucas chuckled,he wore the same blue school blazer and blue pants as Shin, he had white hair instead of his iconic crimson hair


    "ah you plan on heading back to our world yeah?" Shin asked,he was still calm and in peace.


    "Haha you know me too well,but yeah i think we saved the world enough times already you know?" lucas responded, he was relaxed but not sure if Shin would be happy with him going back to their world.


    "Shin..i''m not talking about returning to this fantasy world..not Arghan...but our world..where we lived before we died"


    lucas said nervously,Unsure of how Shin would react to the news.


    "I know, and i''m fine with it, but i plan on staying in this world" Shin responded calmly,His hair flowed with the wind as he was smiling in peace.


    "Why do you want to stay here?...don''t you miss them?...you parents?..." Lucas asked.


    "Yeah...i do miss them,i miss my family...my parents...our old schoolife, But ive been given such a huge responsibility you know?" Shin responded calmly.


    "I supose your right...but that does not mean you have to do this alone, and besides...don''t forget your still just a dumb 16 year old" lucas responded, trying to convince Shin to come back with him to their world.


    "haha you forget i am 29 now or even older since i lived a full life after we both reincarnated" Shin responed.


    "...hah,your right...is there no way i can convince you to come back?" Lucas said with a light chuckle.


    "Nope i will be staying in this world no matter what" Shin responded confidently.


    "Then i suppose this is where we part ways yeah?" Lucas said.


    "yeah" Shin responded. "Before you leave, tell my parents that i love them and that they should give up on searching for me,I''m living my best life. Alright?" He requested.


    "Yeah alright i will, so don''t die on me alright?" Lucas responded. "Yeah yeah i won''t now get going already" Shin responded a bit jokingly.


    "Yeah yeah...Until we meet again Shin..." Lucas said as he walks foward.


    "yeah till we meet again" Shin said as he walked in the opposite direction and soon they both vanished from the field of flowers.

    THE REAL WORLD?


    Lucas awakens and looks around,he was sitting on his chair from his school, The school seemed to be abandoned however and yet Lucas who was 31 in the fantasy world was back to his original age before he died,that being 18.


    He sighed and got up from his chair and walked around the school,and he saw a calender on a wall.


    3 years had passed since both Shin and Lucas had dissapeared,which was different as in the fantasy world a century should have passed. Lucas wonders around until he finds the exit and pushes the door open to leave,The world was as he remembered, cars were driving everywhere,people were on their phones and there was no such thing as magic.


    Lucas decides to walk back to his parents house first, afterall he had just suddenly vanished out of nowhere. He remembered where he used to live and started walking in that direction, It was a bit windy and there were some posters flying around,As one of them flew by Lucas he cought the poster and read it.


    The poster was about him and Shin who had gone missing for 3 years, and under it was a number to contact if anyone saw them. Lucas held onto it ad he contiued walking and passed by a convinience store that he and Shin used to go to before school started.


    "Maybe one day..." He thought to himself, He soon reached his parents house, it was an average looking house, nothing special really. Lucas walked up towards the door and stood infront of it incredibly nervous,wondering how his parents would react. He reached his hand towrads the bell and pressed it, it made a ringing sound that could be heard before Lucas heard a voice. "Coming!" the person said, Lucas then heard some footsteps, as the door opens it was a girl who seemd to be around the age of 16.Taken from Royal Road, this narrative should be reported if found on Amazon.


    She looked at Lucas and was shocked, It was her older brother and she could not believe it at all. "MOM!,DAD!" She yelled out in the house, Then suddenly to figures came out of the kichen.


    "What is it Mari?" The father asked,before both,the mother and father saw Lucas standing at the door. Their eyes widened and they both rushed to him, Lucas was incrdeibly nervous and had no idea what to expect. as the two of them reached Lucas he was suddenly wrapped by all their hugs.


    Lucas swore he could even hear some tears fall onto the ground,but he was happy to be back and could only smile.

    VOID OF MEMORIES


    Shin finds himself in the void he trapped Anata in,the tall buildings surround the Area once more. As Shin walks around he realizes something is off, he does not feel Anata''s pressence anywhere, so he rushes to find wherever he was, and soon enough he found the gold chains that wrappped him,but nothing was chained to it, but Shin was sure Anata could not have escaped so he was puzzled.


    "why so surpised King?" A figure said in a glitched out voice, Shin turned around and saw a dark glitching figure looking at him,only having a pair of white eyes and outh that was set into this creepy smile.


    "who are you?" Shin asked,whilst staring at the figure. "Why, the creator of course i even made that thing over there" He said whilst pointing at the coprse of Anata.


    Shin was shocked and realized just how powerful this being was. "Why do this?" Shin asked, Angered that he acted as if he did nothing wrong.


    "Why?, it''s simple of course, this is a story i wrote,nothing more, although you were not supposed to beat that little creature of mine it''s alright, i''ll just kill you myself" He replied, Shin hearing felt fear running through his body and he had to think of something.


    "Oh yeah?, i bet you can''t even get past that dragon" Shin said confidently and pointed behind the Creator.


    "Hm?" The man looks behind him and sees nothing,but as he turns back to shin he sees Shin runninng for his life.


    "I am NOT beating him in a 1 on 1 fight" He thought to himself, he ran as fast ashe could and was zooming past multiple buildings.


    "Ahaha, That was quite comedic,but you seem to forget" Suddenly The Creator zooms right at Shin from the left side and holds shin up by the neck before slamming him to the walls of one of the buildings. "That i am the Author of this story" Suddenly the glitch that was on The Creator''s body starts spreading throughout the Void corrupting everything and turning it into a glitchy mess.


    The glitch then began to spread onto Shin''s body and he could not move,it was agonizing the pain was unbearable but he still had one trick he could use. "SYSTEM!" As Shin calls out to the System the UI panel appears once more infront of Shin. "TELEPO!-" suddenly, The creator somehow could see the panel and reached out to it with with his other hand before crushing it right infront of Shin destroying all his hope of escape.


    "Did you really believe that would work?" He said with a chuckle. Shin was so shocked and desperate to escape, but the glitch kept spreading onto him,until it fully covers him, turning Shin into nothing more than a puppet.


    The Creator then drops Shin to the ground before giving out an order. "Now go and destroy the world that was meant to be destroyed" He said sternly. Shin who was no longer in control nodded as the figure teleports Shin to the Demon world before he himself vanishes to a place no one knows.

    THE DEMON WORLD


    The day was normal, people of all races were wondering about, The sky was stunning, the buildings were amazing, and all was going well. However in the center of the inner circle of the capital of the Demon world an opening could be seen from the sky, it was glitching, the weather turned gloomy and thunderous, that''s when something could be seen falling through the opening in the sky.


    The guards around the area took no risk and quickly evauated the citizens away from the area, once all the Citizens were evacuated the Person falling from the sky crashed down onto the ground, All the guards were on guard and held gripped their spears tightly.


    Rain began pouring down as the figure emerged from the rubble, The guards could not recognize who it was at all. It was a glitched out figure, parts of his body were glitching and only a few strands of blond hair could be seen as otherwise he was fully covered in a glitch.


    "WHO ARE YOU AND STATE YOUR BUSSINESS?" a guard shouted, all eyes were on the glitched out figure but it stayed silent, as if holding it''s self back.


    Although the guards were all on guard, the being''s speed was simply too fast as one of the guard''s had been sent flying towards a wall by a single punch that they all did not see coming.


    "ATTACK!" The guards shouted as they all ruhed in on the figure, it started dodging and parrying the attacks with ease, even shattering some of the spears with ease.


    And yet each time it tried to open it''s mouth and say something it couldn''t, But it did not matter as it was too strong and multiple guards were already fatally injured, the glitched out being grabbed one of the guards and was ready to rip his Heart out, the other guards could only watch in horror as they were powerless in this situation.


    But while he was distracted a coin flew right past the glitched out being, before a bullet was fired at the coin and richochets towards The glitchy figure, the shot penetrates it''s head but the regeneration was much faster.


    "get out of here" Shira ordered the guards.


    "B-BUT COMMANDER SHIRA, YOU CAN''T WIN AGAINST THIS THING!" A guard shouted. "i said get out of here now!" she ordered louder, the guards finally listened to her order and helped the injured fighters get out of the area,leaving only Shira and the glitched out figure.


    they both stood in silence, the only things that could be heard were the glitching sounds and Shira loading her revolver. As soon as Shira finished loading her revolver the figure lunged at her quickly,Shira quickly fired 3 shots at his joints, hitting his knees and one of his elbows,The figure just fell to the ground,before getting back up after he regenerates instantly. Shira was unfazed by this and quickly landed a hook punch on the figure which knocked him back a bit. The figure tried to retaliate but Shira was faster than him and fired more shots, however He quickly adapts to her shot pattern and dodges all the shots with ease, he then used a mana slash using his bare hands and a slash covered in glitched flew towards Shira.


    She sideteps quickly and fires more shots, but it all gets dodged. Shira throw a whole bunch of her coins and fires at them and all the bullets ricochet in a random pattern and yet the figure dodged it all, As she kept firing she was cought off-guard as she was suddenly punched from the side with lots of power which sent her flying.


    The fight was completly even but Shira would lose Stamina first as this being had Unlimited stamina as it seemed. The fight kept on going and Shira did her best to keep him in the area.


    But it was getting harder as he got faster and faster while she was getting slower and slower. Her shots became sluggish and she was panting, she checks her coins and realized she used them all in the fight already.


    [THE BULLET OF HOPE HAS OFFERED IT''S ASSISTANCE]


    The text suddenly displayed itself infront of Shira, she was confused as too what was happening but needed all the help she could get anyway.

    Shira read all this quickly and looked at what she as facing, knowing she was going to lose she clicked accept. As she clicks it a UI appears infront of her and a white Aura surrounds her and after a while she stops. Shira looks around her body but notices nothing different until a Message in the form of a quest from the system appears in front of her which shocks her.

    DEFEAT THE 10TH KING ''SHIN ATSUKA'' WHO HAS BEEN CORRUTED BY THE GLITCH WITHIN THE TIME LIMIT

    As Shira looks at the Quest panel she was shocked to find out that the person she was fighting was someone she believed to be dead, and yet here he was covered in a weird glitch, She had no idea why Shin was doing this but she knew he was not doing it by choice, And she knew that to free him all she would need was to land one shot on him.


    "I did it before...i can do it again" She said to herself, she loads her revolver ready to fight to save Shin. Shin sprints towards Shira and she fires multiple shots at him only for it all to be dodged, Shin then takes one powerful step before it follows up into a quick dash that leads him right up in Shira''s face. "DAMN" shira said, She tried to shot him again but got her revolver smacked off her hand like a toy.


    She was then hit by mean right hook which made her take a few steps back, shin went for a straight punch but thankfully Shira dodged in time and weaved to the right and landed her own punch which was harder. ¡°Shin!, come to your senses please!¡± She begged but no response.


    Shira had one advantage in this fight, and that was the fact that Shin is just a human whilst Shira is a demon and has flight and increased strenght,atleast she thought this would be an upper hand.


    As the punch connects with Shin''s stomach he does not stagger back or even flinch, but just acts as if nothing happened. Shira quickly jumped away from him and tried to reach for her revolver but was to slow and got thrown like a ragdoll towards building.


    She groans in pain before noticing Shin who was in the air about to crash down on herself, her demonic wings popped up and she quickly took flight and avoided the crash which caused the ground to shake for a bit.


    Shira flew towards her revolver and manages to snatch it before soaring up into the sky and aiming down at shin who was on the ground. She did not want to injure Shin to much but was running out of options and was left with using her magic.


    She aimed her shot at Shin who just stared up at her, A flaming magic circle then appears right infront of her revolver and as she pulls the trigger, instead of a bullet flying out it was a beam of flames that came out and was heading towards Shin.


    Shin did not move at all and just stared at the incoming attack, that was until a weapon started forming onto his hand, it was a sword that was glitching and was covered in darkness.


    Shin swung his blade at the flames and by some logic it was cutting through the flames. This of course surprised Shira since Shin was never able to pull off this move before but she remained focused as now that Shin had a weapon, It meant he now had the ability to use his magic which would be a massive problem.


    After the beam ended Shin instantly launched a barrage of glitch slashes which flew towards Shira, She started flying away from the attacks and was dodging and weaving before firing even more beams of flames at Shin who stated dodging them while launching even more slashes.


    However Shin was continuing this with ease while Shira was starting to get tired. ¡°Damnit¡­¡± She said. She tries to keep up with Shin¡¯s speed but it was all over, Shin appears behind her and She quickly tries to aim her revolver at him howver it was too late, Shin lunged foward with his blade aiming foward.


    it hit, the blade fully pierced into her chest, Shira felt limp, her body falling towards Shin who caught her and held her. He stayed silent of course not by choice. Shira looked up at his face, he showed no emotion and yet Shira could tell, this was the most Shin had ever shown.


    She placed her hand on his head and started ruffling his hair, it was something she loved to do to him. Shin raised his hand and held hers, and as he did Shira noticed just how much his hand was shaking, he was scared, he was desperate to save her no matter what.

    "Its all over, you were too weak" The creator chuckled, as he stood next to Shin. "This world is now mine to control, and i don''t need it" He said, suddenly glitches started spreading everywhere and the world was covered by it as it even affected the people. The glitch would even make it into the world portals and spread into other worlds, effectively ending all life in this universe.


    "Why?...why do all this?" Shin asked, The creator turned his head to face Shin before answering. "To show you...just how weak you are...and how unprepared you are" The creator replied, his tone more serious.


    "Prepared for what!?" He shouted, still emotional over Shira''s death. "Something...much worse i suppose" The creator replied, he pats Shin''s shoulder as he continued on crying. "Don''t be too emotional, as this is not the end, not even close to it" The creator said, Shin did not even turn to face him, but the creator knew Shin was paying attention. "This is just to show you what happens if you fail again" The creator replied, Shin was obviously confused, but before he could even speak he felt immense pain in his chest.


    He slowly looked down and saw the creator''s arm that went right through his chest,blood was dripping down and Shin began to cough blood. The creator then pulls his arm out and let Shin collapse next to Shira''s corpse with that big hole in his chest. As Shin felt his life fading away, The creator crouched down to Shin''s level before saying some words. "Consider this...a gift of sorts" The creator said, He then gets up and walks in the opposite direction before he starts glitching and suddenly vanishes and Shin was now nothing more than a corpse.

    "Huh?" I said as i woke up, i was on a bed and inside a room i have not seen...not in the world of fantasy i lived in for so long. It was more modern like my own world, but that''s not possible all the worlds should have been destroyed right???


    I got up from the bed and looked around and quickly noticed some differences, i was shorter and looked younger. I saw a PC on the desk next to the bed, so i turned it on and tried to find out where i was.


    "2023?" That was the year written on the calendar, so i was right, everything was modern just like in my world. But why was i even here and how did any of this even happen???


    I saw a phone next to the keyboard and checked for anything but there was no contacts or numbers, so i was not possesing somebody''s body but rather just spawned in like this...This had to be because of the Creator, that was the only logical thing i could think of.


    I stood up and was about to leave, but see a box under the desk, it was wrapped like a christmas gift, just not really jolly and just purple.


    I opened it and...


    "What? Is this some sort of VR headset?" I said as i held the box. "This looks more advanced than the ones i had in my world too" i looked at the box some more before noticing a note on the wrapping i just tore.

    What the hell?, why was he doing this?, is this some form of torture?. I just put the box down and sat on the bed very confused, until a notification popped up on my phone.


    i opened my phone and surpisingly it was a world wide warning from the goverments around the world.

    i quickly got on the the PC and decided i had to find out what was going on. so many articles just suddenly popped up and i clicked one of them, and it was related to the headset i got as a ''gift''

    I was shocked and read even more.

    now i was even more confused at what was happening right now, but i had to make a choice now, i could go in and try to save everyone or just don''t do anything...


    i stood up from the chair and grabbed a coat before leaving the apartment, i needed to think about the choice. i walked through the streets of the city, i had assumed it would be bustling but there seemed to not be that many people, most people who were outside would be alone, so i believed most families were inside probably saddened.


    I sat down on a bench,the sun was setting, and i could the cold breeze. I had finally made my decision on whether i would go in and try to save everyone or to just let it be.


    "...never again will i play the role of hero..."


    I said as i continued to watch the sunset knowing my choice would have major consequences, it was selfish yes, but why should i save them?, because i''m a good person? i was never good i just believed i was, and myself being okay with this proved it.

    In one year alone more and more people have been trapping themselves in the game by putting on the VR headset. the death rate has increased but i stopped looking at it as it just continued to grow. I have not gone out that much i''ll be honest as i''m still trying to find out what was going on.


    the creator had somehow replaced my ability that being the ability to come back to life after 100 years. since i felt all my magic just gone and the fact i was revived instantly meant it was really lost.


    and i have been researching about VASOR as that had to be related to th creator somehow, but because of the lack of information from the employee and the lack of contact with the players inside it''s quite difficult to do.


    I continued to scroll mindlessly through the internet in hopes of finding something but there was nothing to be found.


    "i think this is enough" i sighed as i was about to shut off my computer but accidently refresh the search i was looking at, i looked at the screen and saw a new article.


    i was suprised, i clicked it and all it was about was how everyone who was trapped inside the game has just woken up.


    i checked the other websites and it was true, the people have all waken up, except for one player. the large 100 million and more player count had reduced to just 1 single person. I was curious, was this one person the one who beat the game?


    as i looked at the screen i noticed something glowing beneath me.


    "huh?" it was a magic circle, i was caught off-guard and tried to dodge but failed and only dragged my black coat along with me to whever i was being teleported.


    in an instant i was in a whole different place, i put on my coat and looked around.


    "Wait...isn''t this?" i looked at the center and saw a swod i thought i would never see again.


    "Excalibur?" i walked over to it and even touched it''s pedestal to make sure my eyes were seeing things right.


    just as i wanted to look around some more i heard the sound of a sword being unsheathed.


    "Who are you?" A young and feminine voice asked, the tip of the blde was most likely aimed at my neck.


    "calm down i just got here and have no clue what is happening" i said a bit worrieed if she was potentialy a maniac who just so happens to catch me off-guard like this.

    i obeyed her command since i had no other choice and slowly turned to face her.

    What i thought about her seemed to be true, she was the last person in the game.

    We were in a plaza of a stunning and magnificient kingdom,the people were going on about their day, and the sounds of the footsteps just showed how populated this kingdom was.


    "so what exactly are you going to do?" She asked.

    "Oh good your done" i said while taking a bite of the bread i bought using the money from some guild quests i did in the meantime.


    She turned to me, as i was on the ground extremely relaxed with a basket of food next to me, she looked at it like an animal which made cracked me up.


    "Alright come on and eat!" She dashed to the food and sat next t me quickly grabbing the meat and bread i put in the basket for her.


    She munched away at the food happily, the sun was setting but it was fine, i had money to rent a room for the night afterall.

    The sun shined brightly, the streets were lively as could be, with the laughs of children and voices of adults going about their day, the ray of light shined through the window and onto my face.


    "It''s morning already?" i said still a bit tired.


    i stayed on the bed wondering what i should do next. I already knew i had to teach Alice and protect her but is that it? i guess i could just live a normal life but i already did that alone...

    i only had the demon world and the world Alice is in as my unlocked, i''m not sure why i still have access to it though. As i find myself in the Demon world it was mostly covered in glitches and looked really grim, it was the rain was quite heavy and as i turned around there it was, Shira''s corpse.


    i sat right next to her corpse and could only drag her cold body over to my lap, i don''t know why i did this maybe it was my way of comfort? i''m not sure...i could only pray she would get reincarnated...maybe she had a system like me and could reincarnate?... but even then that ability was something only me and Lucas had...


    "Shira...what do i do?" i asked, no response.


    Was i going crazy? i''m asking a corpse on what to do now...not like anyone was here to see what i am doing.


    "Shira.." I then began to grab her torn scarf, it was mainly red and had the symbol of the Arghan kingdom on it, the symbol being based-off Excalibur and Her revolver, the symbol was fading.


    I also took off her vest and hat, i don''t know why i did this, but i suppose i wanted to feel her presence and it was working as after i put on all three items on myself it felt as if she was hugging me and that felt amazing.


    I took of my coat and placed it on her body, covering her face since there was no where to bury her properly.


    "I Can''t just steal your stuff and leave you with nothing now can i?" i tried to joke. I hugged her corpse one last time and got up before teleporting back to the new world with the new and stronger gear.

    "ALICE GET UP!" i shouted as i barge into her room, she jolted awake and look at the door just to see me in some newly aqquired items.

She was probably still tried from yesterday, i left her room so that she could change into her clothes and i also went into my room to change all my modern day clothing into some basic adventurers clothings, except for the 3 items since i was always going to be using them even in my sleep.


    We both afterwards made our way out into the streets of this kingdom and began wandering to find the guild base, it did not take that long as we aw many adventures heading to the same direction, the base was a small run down building but it works for what it is.


    As we both walked in the entire place was filled with chatting from many groups of people planning their next quest to do.

    "Your a killer remember? you need a new name for now" She realized and nodded, we walked up to the counter and behind it was a guild staff member i assumed.


    "Welcome! All quests are avaible on the quest board over there" She points to the board full of quests on paper. "unless your here to register as adventurers?"


    "Yes me and my companion here would like to register as adventurers" i responded.


    "It''s a simple process, just sign here and pay the entrance fee and you will be given the certificate!" i Signed it with Alice and payed the fee afterwards we both grabbed the certificates and put it in our inventory.


    "Now keep in mind you both will be starting out at D rank, the lowest rank so make sure to do lot''s of quests if you want to increase your rank! and if you have any questions don''t hesitate to ask any staff member here!" She waved me and Alice goodbye as we went over to the quest board.


    There were many adventurers standing infront of the board and many of them could possible kill us, so i had Alice put up her hood to cover her face so no one would recognize who she is.


    She seemed a bit worried but i was fine and skimmed through the board for any easy mission, and i found one, a simple quest to go and help pick some flowers, it seemed to be created by a little girl since the writing was terrible.


    I grabbed the paper and walked out with Alice and as we left the kingdom from it''s front gates i showed her the quest paper.


    "This is our task and your training"


    "Flower picking???"


    "Yup it''s a good one for beginners"


    "I''m not a beginner though..."


    "Ah shush and if you can go the entire quest without going crazy that will be good"


    "Alright!" She said confidently. This feeling was nice, it was like when i first reincnarnated and did my first quest with Shira...except she was more crazy than Alice.


    The location of this quest was a small village that was not too far and of course in a damn forest, As we follow the path we soon reach the village and it was peaceful for sure, plants and crops were growing, the children were playing and we were soon aproached by a lady.


    "Have you adventurers arrived for the flower picking quest my daughter sent?"


    "Oh your daughter set that up?"


    "That''s right i told her not to do it as it would waste an adventurers time but she insisted!" She said annoyed and sighed.


    "It''s alright besides we are new to adventuring so it''s best to start out with a small quest like this right Erisia?" Of course i could not just say Alice''s name out loud or else we would get arrested and executed,so this fake name was the best i got, and her face was still covered with the hood.


    "Alright...just make sure she stays out of trouble okay?"


    "Of course ma''am!"


    "Yuki! The adventurers are here!" She called out, and suddenly i could hear little soft but fast footsteps aproaching us, and as i looked at where the footsteps came from i saw a little girl most likely 6 or 7 rushing over to me and Alice.


    "Uwahhhh! You came! yayy!" She seemed really excited to go flower picking and it was really adorable, even Alice found her adorable although her hood covered her face i could still see a bit of her face.


    "What''s your name mister?" She asked, her eyes were sparkling with interest.


    "Haha you can call me ''Wanderer'' and this girl beside me is Erisia, my companion!" I did not want to reveal my identity to everyone instantly since Alice is a criminal i would be seen as an acomplice.


    "Okya mister Wanderer! follow me please!"


    "Alright kid" As i said that she ran off with her little legs, Alice and i followed her closely behind.


    "Make sure to come before the sun sets!" The mother shouted as we left.


    "Okay mom!" She responded and continued dashing inside the forest,we ran deeper and deeper into the forest.


    and after 20 minutes of wandering in te forest we came into a massive field full of flowers.


    "Woah" Alice and i said in unison, we watched Yukki go and pick some flowers before proceding to help her out with it.


    Yuki had brought a basket along with her so that it would make carrying the flowers back much simpler. The weather was nice and sunny for flower picking and the birds were chirping in a nice tune. it was really fun to pick flowers with Yuki since Turns out Alice had an Allergy to this certain flower and began to sneeze continuesly.


    But alas the sun was going to set and i had to take Yuki back, she was still teasing Alice by shoving flowers in her face, and it was amusing to watch.


    "Yuki! Erisia! it''s time to head back!"


    "Okiee!" Yuki said and ran back to me.


    "Aww do we have too?" Alice asked? She seemed to be having more fun than Yuki haha.


    "Yep now let''s go back!"


    "Alright then" Alice responded and we all walked back, as we were walking Yuki seemed to have gotten so tire dshe straight up just fell asleep mid-walk.


    "pfft she fell asleep while walking?" i chuckled while Alice just laughed, of course i made her carry yuki and the basket of flowers.


    "Master why do i have to carry both of theseeee?"


    "Training y''know?" i just felt lazy.


    "i don''t believe that at all master..." She responded with a slightly annoyed expression.


    "Yeah well-..Smoke.." I smelled it in the air, Alice seemed to have also smelled the smoke and we quickly ran as fast as possible to where it was coming from.


    (ALICE''S POV)


    Master and i ran as fast as we could but when we reached where the smoke came from we both realize it was too late.


    "M-master the village..." i could only stutter from the horrific image i was seeing, corpses everywhere, the buildings were ablaze and the tress around the area would soon catch fire.


    "master we need to get out!" i said, he ignored me completely and seemed to be staring at something, i looked at where he was facing and there seemed to be soldiers raiding the village.


    "master what do we do-"


    "Go back to the kingdom...here" He reached out into his pockets and held out 3 gold coins in his hand, i took them and held them tightly.


    "This is enough for a room for both of you, take care of Yuki until i get back...and if you get that urge to kill, knock yourself out got it?" He said in his care-free voice and smile, he was clearly trying to calm me down.


    "Yes master" I ran off towards the kingdom, the sun began to set and it was getting quite hard to see, but it became more difficult when i was spotted by soldiers who were raiding the village.


    "GET BACK HERE!" They shouted, they shot arrows at me, and some tried to engage in close combat, but i managed to dodge most of it.


    "GAH!" I was hit by one of the arrows, it pierced through my leg but i kept on running as fast as i could, although i was slower once i got out of the forest i felt it.


    "No,no,no not now!" It was that urge to kill, i had to get a room at a tavern or inn as fast as possible now. I dashed through the front gate and found the closest Inn to me, i ran in and quickly payed for a room and as i went inside the room i placed Yuji on the bed and her basket next to her.


    "Damn, my head is going crazy" i said while seating down on the chair.


    "No...you can control it...right?" I tried to control it so it would stop, but i was slowly instictively reaching for my sword.


    "...Master will teach me...i''m sure" before i let the urge fully take over i used the sword and bashed the hilt on my head, my head fell right onto the desk, and the sword slipped right out off my hands effectively knocking myself out.

 Selesia

    "Ugh..." my head was hurting a bit, of course it was because i hit myself with the hilt of my sword but still it hurt for much longer than i thought. I turn around and it seems like Yuki is still asleep, the sun has begun to rise and people were starting to wake up.


    "I should get read-MASTER!?" I saw him in the corner of my eye sitting on the ground against the door.


    "Oh you woke up" He sounded less cheerful now...i know ive only been his student for a few days but i highly doubt a person can just change so fast. As i look closer at him i realized he seemed to be reading something, it looked like a novel. The moment he saw me noticing the novel in his hands he just stored it, i have no idea what he did to the people from yesterday....


    "Master what is that novel you were holding?"


    "It''s nothing and don''t question it" he ordered, he was stern his face was in an emotionless state and yet it seemed to be full of emotions at the same time, i had no idea why but asking him right now would be pointless, besides he told me his past already so i have no need to pry for more information.


    "when Yuki wakes up we will be going to The kingdom of Selisia"


    "Uhm but do you even know how to get there?"


    "I do and that''s where we will be going"


    "Alright then..." i had no idea where the kingdom is but i know i can trust him.


    We waited for about an hour, until finally She woke up. I had no idea what i was supposed to tell her...do i just say her village is gone? Or that her mother is dead? That just seems like a terrible idea.


    "Hahh? Where am i?" She asked.


    "Uh your i-"


    "Your parents are dead kid" Master just cut me off for no damn reason, and was telling the kid the truth like that really needed!?


    "H-huh? What do you mean Mister Wanderer?"


    "I said what i said" he then turned to me before speaking.


    "Get ready to leave, i''ll be in the lobby waiting" he opens the door and shuts it as he makes his way down.


    "Didn''t need to say it like that..." i mumbled to myself. I could suddenly hear crying, as i turn ro face the bed Yuki was crying, i was not suprised of course, afterall anyone would cry if their family had been killed, but she was so young and just had to be unlucky.


    I sat on the bed and placed her on my lap before hugging her.


    "It''s alright Yuki...i know it''s hard and you can cry as much as you want...i''ll wait okay?" She nodded and continued to cry on my shoulder, i could feel her tears falling down onto my shoulder but it was fine, and i''m sure master could wait...but i will talk to him about this.


    After a few more minutes Yuki looks up at me and wipes her tears.


    "I-i think i''m fine now Ma''am..." She said, still saddened by the event.


    "Hey it''s okay to be sad, i''ll be here for you, always okay?" I said with a smile.


    "...Okey..." She responded, it would take a while for her to get better but she should be fine and hopefully not mentally scarred...


    "We should go down alright?"


    "Okey!" She was somehow already happy, maybe she wanted to forget it or was hiding it from me.


    She hopped off my lap and stood infront of the door waiting for me. I got up and instantly felt pain in my left leg.


    "Ma''am!" Yuki rushed to my side when she saw me in pain, she began to look around me trying to find the source of the pain. Yuki saw my left leg which was bandaged up, probably from Master.


    "Ha!" She lanched herself onto my leg and hugged it.


    "Now feel better!" She said, her face was so adorable, and when she was looking up at me with those eyes i just want to cuddle her so much, but i have to go to Master so that''s what i''ll do.


    "Thanks Yuki, it feels so much better now!"


    "Your welcom!" I open the door and let her exit first before i follow closely behind her,she skipped along the hallway and hops down the stairs, as i look around i saw Master leaning against the wall next to the entrance door, while reading a novel...a different one this time, and of course the moment the saw us he hid the novel away and walked over to us.


    "Good now that you two are here let''s go"

    "The kingdom of Selisia...i need to do something there" He said and just left wanting us to follow him, I can only assume something happened at the village yesterday...i know it was destroyed and burned down but i don''t believe it was because of that.


    Yuki walked alongside me and i followed Master from behind, as we leave the gates of the kingdom we begin to make our way to Selisia, i have no idea how long it will take however, but even so we continued to follow the path ahead.


    It was a nice walk but my left leg was still killing me, i swear i was going to trip at one point but it was getting a bit too painful and i really wanted to rest but i thought of this as nothing more than personal training.


    "...let''s rest here" He suddenly said out of the blue, it''s been a 2 hours sure but to already take a rest? I suppose it was fine since i could finally sit down.


    Yuki went and played with some nearby birds and rabbits, while i sat down against a tree and sighed. I suddenly saw a shadow infront of me and looked over my shoulder.


    "Show me your leg" Master said, he sat down next to my left leg and looked at it before putting his hands under it.


    "It still needs healing and your forcing yourself?" He asked but with a more dissaproving look.


    "Wha-but your the one that dragged us out here!"


    "I know but atleast tell me if you need to rest" his voice, i had only noticed it change, it felt like a hatred he tried to hide, maybe even disgust...was it because of me??? Maybe it is...maybe he finally realized how bad of a person i was, but why would he still be helping me then...


    "Alright i will"


    "Good" he then stood and hid behind a tree doing something.


    I just lean against the tree and relax whilst watching Yuki play with the animals, she seemed to enjoy it quite alot.


    The 30 minutes pass quickly and as i was watching Yuki play i happen to notice a royal carriage passing us.


    "Time to go Alice"


    "Right!" I responded and got back up on my feet.


    "Yuki! Let''s go!" I called out.


    "Okey!" She skips towards me and soon we were back on track to Selisia.


    As the sun was stating to set i could see what seemed to be the walls of the kingdom up ahead, i could see a line of people trying to enter through the gates.


    But Master just walks past them and as he was about to enter the kingdom he gets stopped by the guards who are in charge of guarding the gate.


    "Halt! You must enter the lin-"


    "We are here because of a mission so shut it" he ordered and shoved the adventurer certificate up his face. The guard took it out of his hands and read it, he then nodded at the other guard and we were soon let in.


    "So master...mind telling me why we are here?"


    I was genuinely curious because he had not stated ONCE said why we were here.


    "...have you noticed the amount of people were expensive or even royal clothes?" He responded while walking.


    "Hm?" I looked around and he was right...so many people wore such expensive clothing, but were they even from here?


    "They all are trying to win the queen" he said.


    "What?" I was suprised but what he said.


    "You will see what i mean" he responded, now i was even more curious.


    "Ma''ammm? I''m tired of walkinggg....carry me please???" Yuki looked up at me adorably, i know my left leg is injured and all...but i think i can handle it, besides how can i say no?


    I get grab Yuki and let her sit on top of me, her legs on my shoulder and my neck between them, i held onto her legs while she held my hair so she would not fall.


    As i do this master seemed to glance at me before looking straight ahead again, what was infront of us was an entire Arena i was confused but since master walked it i will aswell!


    Inside the Arena was a massive crowd, full of common folks and many royal members, Master then took a seat in the center row and watched the match.


    I sat next to him with Yuki watching the duel with excitement, but i was curious as to why we are here...aswell why so many royal members of different kingdoms were here.


    "Now that we are here please tell me what we are doing master" i asked again.


    "...this is a challenge of sorts"


    "Hm? Is it for my training?"


    "No you won''t be doing the fighting, but i''ll make it more clear for you" he responded, i was all ears and ready to listen to this explanation of his.


    "The king of this kingdom is dead" he said, i was shocked but he quickly continued to speak.


    "The king had been trying to find a cure for the queen, who has a disease that that made her into a vegitative state and is now bedridden, after the king''s death many, MANY royals wanted to take over the kingdom as Selisia is one of the most powerful kingdoms, however of course it was not only for the kingdom but for the queen aswell, after all she is said to be the most beautiful lady of these lands" i was suprised but it still did not explain why we were in an Arena watching a duel.


    "Of course kingdoms would go to war over ruling this kingdom and so...a challenge was made by the prince and only son that the king and queen had, it was simple, beat the prince in a 1 on 1 duel and you would get to rule the kingdom" i now understood it.


    "So do you plan on having a duel with the prince?" I would of course assume, and yet he shook his head.


    "I''ll duel the one who defeats the prince" it was a wierd move but i''m not even surpised now.


    "...wait how do you know all this-"


    "Don''t even ask or you will be running 20 laps around this kingdom while carrying Yuki and with that injured left leg" he ordered.


    "Y-yes master! I''m sorry!" I said, not wanting to run laps around an even larger kingdom.


    "Good, now just watch and maybe even learn some tricks from the fights" he said, i nodded and began to watch the duels with intensity.


    The prince he seemed to be a bit older than me, like maybe 17 or 18...and yet he is incredible skillful and swift with his style, it was a unique style...instead of going for normal striking or royal techniques he was using anything that just works...wait...he does not have a style...he is fighting out of pure reflex and instict!?


    His body was twisting in all sorts of way no one would do in a sword fight and yet his hits kept landing but the fighters kept coming.


    His determination...i saw it his eyes, he was really trying to protect his kingdom for so long... and yet i also saw mercy in his eyes, his face focused on making sure he would not kill or fataly injure his opponent, and his ice magic control was just astonishing!


    ...and his looks...those green eyes...handsome face...and that short blue hair....who wouldn''t fall for him!? Even i felt my heart flutter for a second, but he will probably get a better girl than me anyway so it is what it is.


    As the duels kept on continuing it all ended with the same result: The prince was slamming everybody who even tried to fight, with not much effort aswell..


    As this last duel ends in the prince''s victory the crowd went wild they screamed out what seemed to be the prince''s name: ''Terios'', and now they waited for someone to try and defeat him, a majority of the fighters in the Arena were i think just watching as they were planning on how to beat him, except for one person.


    He jumped down into the Arena with a cocky and arrogant look, but seemed to have the magic to back it up, i could sense it, and it seemed he was also a prince with all that fancy gear and sword, even bearing the symbol of a kingdom of his armor.


    Before they could start the duel the Prince approached with with arrogance and a twisted smile before whispering something into Terios''s ear, i had no idea what it was but it had Terios widen his eyes leaving him stunned.


    The prince went back to his original spot and unsheathed his sword, he clearly did not care as if he knew he was going to win, Terios on the other hand was more focused than ever right now.


    His eyes fully focused on his opponent, he was fighting as if this was the one fight he must not lose.


    And as the fight began both Prince''s launched an onslaught of attacks at each other, The prince was using dark magic which is by far the most powerful type but Terios was able to equalize it with his ice magic.


    The fight continued on, The prince fought with such ferosity and arrogance but was now gaining the upper hand, by using a technique i have never expected...the ''Aura blade'' you would shroud the blade of your sword in magic and depending on what magic you had the effects would differ, The dark Aura blade increased speed and would let it''s user just turn into darkness itself for a bit, making it''s user take no damage.


    This fight quickly became one-sided with Terios on the losing side until finally: "AGH!" Terios screemed, the prince had stabbed his shoulder with the dark Aura blade which left Terios unable to fight.


    He just looked down at Terios while the crowd was going wild again afterall someone had finally beaten The prince of Selisia, and yet they quickly went silent as they turned speechless...even i did.


    The prince sheathed his sword before proceeding to beat up Terios so badly until he was on the brink of death, the soldiers who were watching were trying their best not to cry it seemed.


    The prince soon looked at everyone , his hands bloodied up from beating Terios to a pulp leaving him unconcious.


    "WHO WILL CHALLENGE ME NOW HUH!?" He shouted while cackling, no one dared to come down and fight him, scared of meeting the same or even worse fate than Terios.


    Suddenly Master got up and jumped from the center row and lands inside the Arena, the crowd was shocked someone dared to duel the Victor of the challenge after what the Prince did to Terios.


    "HAH! YOU REALLY THINK YOU CAN DEFEAT ME!?"


    "..."


    "SILENT TYPE EH? SO BE IT! [DARK AURA BLADE]" As the prince unsheathed his sword he quickly used his Aura blade and dashed straight towards Master.


    Master simply watched the prince and stayed the same, he seemed to be unsurprised.


    He then seemed to say something but it was so quiet like a whisper i think only i heard it:


    "come at me...protagonist"

 Invasion

    (SHIN''S POV)


    "Damn.."i mumble as i barely manage to dodge his sword strikes, i jumped back to create some distance but already knew how this fight would turn out...with my loss.


    And that would be fine by me, i just needed to accomplish one thing in this fight: Give him a reason to not turn into the damn villain.


    He rushed at me and i continue to dodge and dodge as one hit would be fatal to me. As he goes for a vertical slash i dodge to the right and quickly strike him in the jaw.


    "Hm?" He took no damage whatsoever, infact when i looked closely, the punch did not actually hit him.


    "Impressive but you can''t hit me..." he said enjoying toying with me.


    "How many times to you plan on doing this?"


    I tell him, my voice cold as usual.


    "Hmm? Plan on what huh? How many times i plan to strike you, you mean?" He said arrogantly, he managed to grab hold of my leg when i tried to jump back for some distance.


    "Don''t even try it" He said before throwing me across the arena, sending me crashing straight into the walls.


    I groaned in pain but had to ignore it, as my objective was far more important than just some minor pain.


    "How many times...do you plan on reseting this world?" I said whilst panting a bit from the impact, he was stunned...


    "Who are you?" I suddenly felt a massive overflowing Aura begin to drag me down, the moment he stopped toying around with me i already saw the huge difference in our strength.


    "How do you know that?" He asked,while slowly aproaching me, each one of his steps felt thunderous and my body kept feeling like it was getting heavier and heavier.


    "...oh...you must be the one who trapped me in this endless loop aren''t you?"


    "Wait i''m n-"


    "Liar" His thunderous stomp almost made me get on my knees but i still managed to stand.


    "...you put me through all this...I''LL FUCKING KILL YOU!" He shouted, he instantly vanisjed from my sight and i quickly tried to locate him.


    "Too slow" i heard behind me, the moment i turned around i was slammed onto the ground. I tried to get up only to get pummeled down into the ground more and more.


    i tried to block and block but none of it worked at all, he just kept pummeling me into the ground which was starting to cause the ground to crack a lot.


    I concentrated and as i saw him going for another punch i quickly jumped out of the attack and dodged it just barely staying alive.


    "I can help you save her!" I tried to reason with him, he did not believe me and was instantly infront of me. I ducked under his attack and was instantly kicked in the stomach and pushed back a little.


    "Damn..." Aleron would not listen to me at all...this was bad, very bad as if i fail to convince him now i will be dead and this world will be destroyed and reset.


    "..." he stayed silent and just watched me, i was panting and trying catch my breath while thinking on how to convince him...but it seems like he truly believed i was the one who put him in this loop, most likely because this was the first time he saw me in the many resets he had done.


    If there really was no way to convince him then i would have to beat him, but that would be impossible. He has far more experience and abilites, having already reset the world more than 1000 times all just to save the love of his life, i stand no chance at all.


    "[MANA CONTROL: WANDERERING CHAIN]" The mana particles in the air gathered into my palm and formed themselfs into a long glowing purple chain. I was not about going to die again! i WILL create the ending i want!


    As Aleron saw the chain he quickly lunged at me, i quickly whipped the chain at him but he was too fast for me to land a hit. He got up close and quickly went for a slash.


    I ducked and quickly struck him with the chain, it did not land, Aleron''s barrier prevented that .

    "I can help you save her!"i told him, he did not believe me and just kept on attacking and attacking, i tried to atleast bind his sword but it was also protected by the barrier.


    i whipped the chain at him again and he just caught it, he pulled it which dragged me to him and it was basically all over if he were to reach me.


    "GO TO HELL! [ABYSSAL IMPACT]!" He dropped his sword and his fist began to consume a large amount of mana before it turned into dark magic, he raised his hand as i got closer and was ready to strike me down, i had to act NOW.


    "[MANA BURST]!" I controlled all of my mana to move to my right hand, As i was in his range he swung his fist right at me, and i did the same.


    our fists collided with each other and a great amount of Dark magic and Mana began to burst out from the impact of the collision.


    "It''s over" He said while looking me dead in the eyes, suddenly the darkness from his magic began to consume my Mana and i knew it was all over.


    (ALICE''S POV)


    I held onto Yuki tightly as the amount of mana and magic that was flying all over the place was crazy, people ere getting pushed back by the great force and i was worried about Master.


    The magic and mana suddenly stopped, the dust from the grounds were bocking the view but once it passed i could see the entire scene.


    The people went wild and were cheering for the prince as he loomed over Master''s body...i was horrified, he was bloodied up and his arm was arm was basically shattered.


    Was he still alive? i had no idea but i was praying that he was, As i looked at Master in horror i notice the prince raising his sword, i quickly put down Yuki.


    "Yuki wait here k?"


    "Okiee!" I jumped down and quickly unsheathed my sword, as the prince''s sword came down i was fast enough to parry it with my blade.


    "What the hell are you doing!?" I yelled at him, he backed off for a moment and just stared at me with shock, he seemed stunned but i couldn''t care less.


    "Killing is not allowed in the challenge! Are you crazy!?" I continued, he just looked at me before walking away from the Arena.


    I quickly checked on Master and tried to hear a pulse and thankfully i did hear one, he was just knocked out.


    I sighed before calming down and picking up his body, i began to make my way to the exit of the Arena and already and already saw Yuki there.


    "Is Mister Wanderer going to be fine?" She asked with some worry.


    "...hah! Of course he will!" I said with a confident smile, in seemed to brighten up the mood and Yuki seemed much happier with my reasurance.


    The crowd outside was massive, everyone was surrounding the prince since he was now the new king of Selisia, and as i pass by the crowd we made eye contact once more but he just looked away in shame? I just ignored it and brought Master out of Selesia since i myself had no money and could not really afford a room.


    I was confused on how to treat Master since ive never dealt with such injuries before but i had to try my best.


    (SHIN''S POV)


    "Damn..."i groan and slowly sat up, my back felt sore and my arm was in excrutiating pain.


    I sigh as i knew i had lost.


    "Damn it i failed...this is bad...but he would have killed me though so how am i alive?"


    I thought.


    "Unless he saw her?" I realized and sighed in relief as that was what most likely had happened. I looked around and this seemed to be a cave? As i tried to get up i realized Someone was holding me down, and as i looked at my left side i realized Yuki was wrapped around my left arm like a koala.


    When i looked at my right side i just Saw Alice in who sat on the ground but was also asleep, it seemed like she tried to treat my arm as it delt a bit less painful than during the fight.


    I take out the novel i had in my inventory, it was the one thing that allowed me to barely survive my duel against Aleron as it contains the story and events that would happen in this world, and right now nothing should happen for a while.


    [WARNING! CHAOTIC INVADERS HAVE COME TO THIS WORLD]


    The warning just pops-up in my face, i really was never going to catch a break...but this never happened in the novel, unless was the creator is trying to intervene in some way?


    The sky turned red and soldiers who looked like demons just began to spawn all over the place, they wore black armor, and had many kinds of weapons ranging from swords to rifles.


    "Just what the hell is happening to this world!?"

    Suddenly the ground began shake like crazy i had no idea what was happening right now but i needed to survive.

    I was confused but with this many soldiers around i knew i had to get out of here fast.


    "Alice get up!" I shook her awake.


    "Huh?...Master?"


    "We have to go now!" Sensing the seriousness in my voice she looked around and quickly grabbed Yuki who woke up.


    "Ma''am where are we going?" She asked Alice.


    "Where Master goes" She responded and turned to look at me to see if i had any plan.


    I had to act fast but where can i go? If i ran to a soldier i would not be able to fight because of my arm, and i can''t access other worlds! I can''t return to Selisia as it might have gotten attacked already.


    Returning to the demon world would be useless as everyrhing there would have already been destroyed and i have no idea if it''s even possible to survive in there for long periods of time.


    "..wait...the land above the clouds..." i mumbled to myself, i quickly opened my inventory and tried to find a teleportation crystal and i did find it...but only found two.


    "Yuki,Alice hold this!" I order while i both gave them the glowing blue crystal, They both took it not knowing what it was.


    "Master what are we supposed to do with this?" Alice asked worriedly.


    "System teleport to [LAND ABOVE THE CLOUDS]"


    [TELEPORTING]


    They both started vanishing into mana particles while i just watched them.


    "M-master!? What about you!?" She asked.


    "I''ll be fine just don''t die okay?" I said, she nodded and they both were fully teleported.


    If only i could teleport using my system, but since i never went to there the system has not registered it.


    I ran back to Selisia in hopes it was managing to defend itself well.


    "OVER THERE!" One of the invaders shouted,next thing i knew i was dodging runnings from bullet shots and sword slashes.


    I was focused on making my way into Selisia which was visible in the distance, and it seemed to have fortified itself quickly as i saw magic barriers protecting it and a massive dome barrier that covers the entire kingdom.


    The invaders kept on attacking me though and i was starting to get hit a bit so i knew i needed a way to get there fast and without getting any more injuries.


    "[MANA CONTROL: WANDERING CHAIN]!" I shouted and the chain formed onto my left hand, i gripped it tightly as what i was going to do would strain my entire body a lot.


    "I HAVE TO BLOCK IT ALL!" I shouted as i ran faster and faster.


    "[WANDERING CHAIN ARTS: UNTOUCHABLE]!" My mana began to spread evenly across my body as fast as possible to speed up my movements, I swung the chain faster and faster until i was so fast that to the normal human eye it would seem like i created a glowing barrier around me when in reality i was just swinging my chain chain as fast as possible in all directions.


    I needed to get to Selisia, i needed to get to Aleron as he might be able to help get me to The land above the clouds.


    I ran faster and faster and as i got closer i realized the front gate has been shut fully, but if i stopped now the momentum from my speed would make me crash into the wall.


    I only had one way to enter Selesia, to jump over the massive walls. I had no idea how tall it was but it seemed impossible...but it''s my only way.


    I ran faster and faster and as i reached the point to jump i moved all my mana into my legs and used all my strength to jump as high as i could. As i was heading stright up into the air i realized too late that it was not enough and i would crash into the wall.


    I looked around and saw one of the flags,i quickly whipped the chain at it, the chain managed to wrap itself around the pole and i pulled as hard as i can which gave me enough height to clear the jump.


    I was soaring through the air now and Selsia looked really stunning and all but i began to descend and needed somewhere to land...as i came crashing down onto the ground,surpisingly barelly any damage was de-


    I suddenly felt myself being held down by multiple dark tendrils, and as i look up i felt a sword just barely grazing my neck.


    "WHERE IS SHE!?"


    "WHERE THE HELL IS ALICE YOU FUCKING BASTARD!?"

 Announcement

    Hello everyone, this might be a sudden thing but i have a big announcement...this story is getting cancelled, i wont be writing this again.


    Now this might be suprising since i have only created 7 chapters and there is so much potential to grow, but thats why i have to cancel it now.


    This story had so much potential and i bassicaly ruined it with my poor writing, the only ''good'' chapters were like 1-3 i suppose and everything else felt off and rushed for me.This narrative has been purloined without the author''s approval. Report any appearances on Amazon.


    But if you enjoyed this story i created up until now then thank you! And worry not as this is not the end.


    I am simply ending this story as i plan to use the characters in the story differently, so the characters will still play a big role in my new story.


    The next piece of fiction i upload will have the characters from here but a bit differently.


    There will be a different MC aswell and villain which will be revealed in the new story so please once its out go give it a read.
