 Origin- The Knight of Despair

    A battlefield filled with blood and bodies. There were so many corpses of men and women in full-plated metal armor. They looked like the Knights of the old tales in stories. So many bodies and fallen swords lay across the land. Only three people remained on a battlefield strewn with bodies.


    A knight with all-black armor with black mist coming out of his helmet. The only thing you could see was two red glowing eyes. Facing him was a woman with silver hair and golden eyes. She rushed towards him with a sword in hand aiming to end him with a single blow.


    ¡°Die Demon! You have caused much destruction and chaos today. I, Lady Luna, and Sir Nyx will end you. We will bring peace to this realm. We will destroy you for all the towns and cities you destroyed for the sake of your gods!¡±


    Lady Luna had her sword. She went to swing at the black knight''s head. But, the demon swung his sword and met her attack head-on. They clashed. A man with black hair and blue eyes rushed at them. He swung at the demon fighting lady Luna. He was able to hit him dead on his head and seemed to slice the black knight¡¯s head clean off.


    ¡°Good job Nyx! Finally, we were able to kill this demon. Let us now go back to the kingdom and rebuild and fix the chaos this demon has made to the land¡±


    Nyx smiled as he saw Luna smiling at him holding her hand out to him as he fell to the ground after his strike. He loved her for as long as he could remember. She found him in a ditch after bandits killed his family. She and her family took care of him and made him the man he was today. He got up and walked towards her about to take her hand until he saw black mist behind her rising.


    ¡°LUNA BEHIND YOU! HE IS NOT DEAD! RUN!¡±


    Sadly, a massive black sword impaled Luna from behind, and it was too late. She looked at Nyx¡¯s face that had a face filled with horror and sadness and eyes filled with tears.


    The blade was pulled out of her back as she stumbled towards him. She walked towards him until she reached him and put a hand on his cheek.


    ¡°Nyx¡­ I wanted to tell you something after this battle¡­ But it seems like I won¡¯t be able to. I wanted to say¡­. I love you¡­I hope we meet¡­¡±


    She does not get to finish as the spark in her silver eyes fade. The shine he always saw when they were together in those eyes was forever gone. Nyx¡¯s head faced downwards as he started to shake with rage at the sight of the person he loved, a cold corpse in his arms. Then he heard a voice that sounded like it came from the void itself.


    ¡°You foolish non-believers deserve to be in despair. My forgotten gods must have blood to regain their power. All your hate and despair fuels them so they can regain their true power. You only have yourself to blame for having faith in gods that left you to die.¡±

    The Black Knight walked towards Nyx after his zeal towards his gods. Nyx gently laid down Luna next to her weapon. He had one last look at her before he rushed towards the knight roaring in anger at the demon with weapon in hand. He was like a beast possessed as he clashed his sword again and again.


    ¡°DIE YOU FUCKING DEMON. YOUR BLOOD WILL BE EVERYWHERE FOR EVERYTHING YOU HAVE DONE! MY RAGE IS ENDLESS AND MY FURY IS NEVER ENDING!¡±


    Nyx continued to clash with the demon moving at inhuman speeds. He was pushing his limits all for his rage at everything in the world he could think right now. All while the demon laughed and told him to keep going. He mocked him for how he killed his lover as they clashed. The ground around them makes cracks in the earth as they clashed.


    ¡°YES CLASH WITH ME HUMAN. ALL YOUR HATE AND DESPAIR WILL FUEL MY GODS! THIS WORLD IS ALREADY OVER SO WHY FIGHT! GIVE INTO THE ABYSS AND DIE LIKE THE DOG YOU ARE!¡±


    They continue to clash with a black hole in the distance. It opens up and starts sucking up the earth. The sky turned red as they clashed. It was hell on earth at the moment as the black hole ate everything. The Black Knight then backed up and swung to end Nyx. But, Nyx ducked and stabbed him through the chest.


    ¡°HAHA TAKE THAT FUCKER! WHERE ARE YOUR GODS NOW! END ME SO I CAN MEET MY LOVER IN THE NEXT LIFE WHILE YOU DIE WITH YOUR WEAK AND FOOLISH GODS!¡±


    The Black Knight Stumbled to the ground letting go of his sword. He laughed as he was lying down on the ground. He was coughing up blue blood as the world around the two broke apart. It seemed that there was nothing left. All the trees and the earth and even all the other bodies were gone. He looked at Nyx, laughed like a madman and pointed above him.


    ¡°It is too late for you anyway human. I am not mortal like you. As long as my mission is complete I will be reborn once again to continue my work. But as I die I know this¡­. You are the strongest I have fought so far. If we meet again I will fight you once more to decide your fate¡­.¡±


    Nyx scowled at the demon as he said his last words. He hoped he would never see it again. He looked at the demon one last time as it turned to dust. He looked around him and only saw a destroyed landscape and the black hole coming closer and closer. Nyx walked to where his lover was laying. He laid next to her, closed his eyes, and held her hand. He waited for the end.


    As the void came for him and his lover, he thought of all the times they were together. He thought of what their life could have been without the chaos and war caused by some so-called gods. He sighed as the void finally consumed him. He opened his eyes and saw only darkness.


    Only darkness surrounded him; there was nothing else left. Until he saw a bright light coming towards him. He wanted to reach out and hope for a moment that there was Something after the hell he went through. As he reached the light, he faced a beautiful woman. She had blonde hair and blue eyes. She held him and lifted him up. It was strange because he was too big to hold up.


    ¡°Welcome to the world Nyx Morningstar! Mommy is gonna take good care of you and make sure to protect you! You are so cute, my little star. I hope you always stay this cute!¡±


    Nyx looked down at his hands. They were little and cubby-like a baby. Then he started to wiggle and squirm in her arms. He tried to figure out if this was happening. Then Nyx realized there was only one solution and that was to scream for his life because he was now a baby.


    ¡°WAAAAAA?WAAAAAAAAAAA!¡±

 New World with a New Hope

    It has been 4 years since Nyx has been reborn into this new world.He was at first surprised that he now had a second chance at life and that he could live again instead of being swallowed up by that black hole and forever be in darkness. He was also surprised at how advanced this world is.


    The world had no monsters to fight and no other races as well. There were only humans in this world and it seemed that the world was at peace and very advanced.There were so many giant buildings and the common household had so many appliances to make life easier. As I grew up my mom named Anna Moringstar was worried about me. I was very quiet compared to other kids and did not play with others when she sent me to daycare.


    She took me to a doctor to see if there was anything wrong with me medically. The Doctors just seemed to label me with mental problems since they could not really find anything wrong with me physically.They wanted me to take meds that would help me interact more and be more social but my mom was having none of that. She yelled at the doctor for even thinking of such a thing since she wanted her baby to not be on medication so young and she liked the way I was.


    I mean I guess it was my fault to begin with. I did not really talk to other kids because I felt out of place with people my current age. I did not want to play and color all the time. I wanted to read books about this world and its history and also learn. In my old world only the nobles were able to read and write since they had the money and the power to do so. So having the option to learn was very liberating for me.


    Having my mom is my life was amazing for me though and what she did for work was amazing as well.My mom was a Ceo for a business all for medication for animals and food for them all while having a whole ranch for animals that needed a place to stay due to various reasons,There was Tigers and Wolves to Dogs and Cats. There were so many birds and even monkeys. The list goes on and on how many animals are at this ranch.


    My mom introduced me to all the animals and they all seemed to love me a lot. I loved them as well and I loved taking care of all of them. All I needed was my mom and animals in this life to be honest.Today my mom did say though that her friends and their daughter were moving close to them and that I would probably like her. However most kids my age see me as a weirdo or a nerd since I read all the time.


    ¡°Nyx! My baby boy, are you ready to meet my friend¡¯s daughter! You are gonna love her because she is very friendly and nice.I really hope she becomes your friend sweetie but if she is mean to you then tell me okay?¡±


    My mom looked at me with an excited and worried expression about making a friend. I feel bad that I worry my mom so much about making friends but it is hard to connect to people after Luna. She was my everything in my last life and I wanted to live with her forever. However I realize that I have to move on sooner or later. This is a new life and I have to move forward.

    She had a smile on her face and hugged me. I am really happy that in this life I have someone I can rely on.A bunch of the dogs and cats started to join in the hug.Well looks like mom is not the only one that cares about me a lot. To be honest it has been kinda strange to wake up to having animals watching all your life but now I am used to it.

    ¡°Oh that should be Emma and Sky. I can''t wait for you to meet my friends honey. Emma is a Librarian and Sky runs a dojo for martial arts. They are good people and have been my friends since I was your age along with your father.¡±


    He watched as his mom walked off to go and get the door. He was surprised she mentioned his dad. She never really mentioned him that much. All that he knows is that he was killed in action serving in the military and that we have the same color black hair. As he was thinking of his father he heard the front door open and barking from the dogs coming from the front door.


    He saw a woman with Red hair with Silver eyes and a man with blue hair and Silver eyes and a little girl his age that had Red hair and silver eyes. She seemed to have a very happy and excited expression as she was playing with some of the dogs that were by the front door. The woman with red hair looked at me and froze for a moment like she saw a ghost but then smiled.


    ¡°This must be little Nyx. He looked just like Zero when he was younger but he has your eyes.Hello little cutie you can call me Auntie Emma and my husband Uncle Sky and this is my daughter Rose.¡±


    Rose, who was playing with the dogs, looked over to where me and her mother were talking and ran over.


    ¡°Hi! My name is Rose. It is nice to meet you! You have so many dogs and cats here! What are all their names and do you have any other animals!¡±


    So many questions all at once made me confused but I answered her one by one. She seemed like a nice person I could get along with. She didn¡¯t rush me to answer her questions and waited for me to answer. However she also kept hugging me or playing with my hair a lot which was weird.


    ¡°My name is Nyx and it is nice to meet you. We have a lot of dogs and cats because my mom helps animals. We have more than dogs and cats here but they are dangerous for people other than my mom and me. Also why are you playing with my hair?¡±


    She seemed to pause playing with my hair but then went back to playing with it with an excited smile on her face. Then she started to walk around me in a circle with an infectious smile. Then she sat down next to one of the puppies and started playing with it while looking at me.


    ¡°You actually answered all my questions! Usually people ignore me and tell me I am being too loud. We are gonna be best friends!¡±


    She had a smug smile on her face like she was not gonna take no for an answer about being her best friend.I really don¡¯t think we will get along let alone being best friends she will probably get bored like all the rest. Little did I know I would be massively wrong.

 Murder Kittens and Best Friend

    It has been 13 years since I met Rose. She became my best friend without me even knowing. How does that even happen? But anyway, she was always in the same school as me. Also, she would always want to hang out and read with me and we did martial arts together in her father''s Dojo.


    Rose was actually an amazing friend and reminded me of Luna a lot. She always seemed to make time for me and stood up whenever someone spoke badly about me. She was very social, while I was the opposite. But she would never force me to make friends with people who did not like me or I did not like, which was reassuring for me.


    Other than that right now I am sitting in my last class. High school has been a pain in the ass for me or school in general. I have perfect grades but usually, people around me bother me or try to bully me. My not wanting to talk to people is offensive and they now don¡¯t like me. How in the hell does that make sense? These people want attention all the time.


    RING RING


    ¡°Nyx! Come on, let''s go home. We have to talk about what we are gonna do for your birthday tomorrow. You are not skipping the party we are gonna plan for you so don¡¯t even try to run away!¡±


    Well, my bloodhound of a friend Rose is already on the case for my birthday tomorrow. But, I don''t have anything planned. I''m interested in a new VR system and game that''s popular. It also allows streaming, where you can make a living by streaming video games.


    "Rose, you know I don¡¯t like doing anything special for my birthday. But, I have been thinking of buying something for my birthday tomorrow with my saved money.¡±


    Nyx grabbed his backpack as he talked with Rose. He looked at Rose. She had that smug, scheming face she always had when she was about to plan something. This won¡¯t go well for him. Tomorrow she is gonna do something.


    ¡°Well, why don¡¯t you let me know what you want then and I can get it for you. After all, you always give me gifts but you never let me give you gifts. So it''s only fair if I get you something for your birthday.¡±


    He sighed but nodded at the comment. He did not like getting gifts but he always gave gifts to the people he cared about. Most people in school thought we were dating. This was because I give her gifts when she has a rough day. I would not mind if that was true as Rose is very beautiful but we are friends.


    ¡°Fine Rose I wanted to buy and check out this very advanced VR system and this new game Twilight online. I wanted to try out this summoner class that people say is trash. I love animals so I want to see if I can get pets and have fun in the game and stream.¡±


    Rose took in the information with a smug smile and started to gather her things off her desk. She then looked at her phone and started to text and look up some stuff. Now I am really worried about what she is doing.

    He looked at him with a deadpan expression on what the heck he heard. He needs to talk to her parents about therapy. He drags her out of the class as she is still plotting like a villain off of a kid¡¯s show. Yeah, tomorrow is gonna be a long day.


    ¡°Come on Rose, we have to head home. It is a friday and I do not want to stay in school longer than I have to. You can talk about your evil plan at my house.¡±


    She finally stopped her evil planning and giggled then took my arm and walked out the school with me. What is with all the touchy women in my life? I might be cursed to be with ladies like Luna, my mom, and now Rose for the rest of my life.


    Well as we finally made it out of the school or what I call a second hell.We went on our way towards my house like always. We never went to Rose¡¯s house much. She thinks my house is cooler because of all the animals we have. That was true. We had a lot of baby animals born last year.


    The Ranch had a new litter of wolf pups that were born. The wolves saw me as their child. They let me in their den to see my new brother and sisters. They let my mom in too. She has been caring for them since they were born. Then some tigers also had some cubs and a bunch of puppies and kittens.


    The only animals that have not had babies yet were the monkeys and the bears. The Pandas and Grizzlies are expecting babies though. We were very surprised about the Pandas. They are hard to have cubs and to care for. It costs millions yearly due to all the bamboo and other factors.


    ¡°Hey Nyx, I wanted to ask you something. Did you name the new wolf pups and the tiger cubs? I wanted to help you pick out names. Especially any of the girls I want to name all the girls there please.¡±


    He sighed as he saw Rose¡¯s puppy dog eyes looking at him. She was begging for the chance to name one of the tiger cubs. Well, I can¡¯t wait to see them as well though. Leon and Allie are one of my favorites on the ranch. I can''t wait to see their cubs. I will see the wolf pups tomorrow on my birthday.


    ¡°Yeah sure I can let you name some of the girls but I get to name some of them as well. I am also excited about seeing the cubs. I am thinking of seeing the wolf pups tomorrow due to them wanting a day of rest after having babies.¡±


    We made it to the ranch pretty fast as there was no traffic when we took the bus back home. Living in New York was great due to the public transit. But, it only goes so far. The ranch is far from any city. When we got to the ranch, we saw mom was not home. But, some of the ranch workers were here tending to the animals.


    ¡°Nyx! Come on, let''s go see the baby cubs! They are gonna be so cute and tiny. I want to hug them to death thinking about one.¡±


    He arrived at the area where the tigers are being kept. He saw Leon and Allie running towards him as he went into the endcloser. If you saw two giant tigers coming at you, you would want to run or pray that your life would be spared. Nyx opened up his arms and welcomed his long-time friends.


    They licked his face and pounced on him. Alle was licking his hair and face a lot, welcoming him like her baby had come home. Allie always treated him like one of her own cubs so he was very happy to see his so-called new brother and sisters. Nyx and Rose followed them back to their den and saw the cutest things he has ever seen. He saw four little tiger cubs, two girls and two boys.


    ¡°NYX! THEY ARE SO CUTE! LOOK AT THEIR CUTE FUR AND LITTLE PAWS AND THEIR BIG CUTE EYES! I AM GONNA FAINT!¡±


    Nyx chuckled. Rose was playing with one of the Tiger cubs. "Welcome to the family, little ones. I pity you. She won''t let you go anytime soon." Then he heard screaming behind him and saw his mom taking pictures behind him. Welp this is gonna be a long day for sure.

 New Life and New Love

    Today is April 14 2070 Nyx¡¯s 18th birthday and he is an adult. You might think that would be amazing, but it sucks. He has to find a job and then deal with bills, taxes, and other crap. But, he does not have to find a job. He works for his mom as an animal handler. He is also her only child and would inherit her company and assets so he did not need to work.


    ¡°Nyx! I can hear you up there come down so I can give your birthday breakfast and Birthday punches!. Rose should be coming soon so make sure to get dressed or don¡¯t I am sure she will like to see you shirtless anyway.¡±


    He sighed as his mom mentioned Rose in that light. She still thinks that he and Rose should get married and have children one day. She wants to be a grandma as fast as possible. Also, Auntie Emma also agrees with her a lot and seems to support the idea. Heck, even Uncle Sky said to me that I would be the only boy he would accept dating his daughter.


    ¡°Mom I am coming down and stop mentioning Rose like that please we are just best friends. Also thank you for the breakfast!¡±


    He sighed as he thought about Rose . Deep down, he liked her more than a friend. But, he was still getting over Luna from his past life and his feelings for her. It was finally time to move on and give love a chance. After all, Rose was the perfect girl other than Luna and she would maybe give him a chance if he asked her out.


    He walked downstairs and saw his mom cooking the last of his birthday breakfast. She was not kidding today with breakfast there were so many dishes she made. She had bacon and eggs with hashbrowns and sausage with Pineapple mango smoothies. Also had pancakes and waffles as well that looked very fluffy and smelled amazing.


    ¡°Hey honey I hope you like all the food I made you. I made so much because Rose should be coming here in a minute. Also I know you like that girl with how much you stare at her. Hurry up and confess your feelings. I need grandbabies!¡±


    He sighed and nodded his head at the notion of his mom being right. He was going to confess to her today and let¡¯s see what goes from there. Also, he wanted to look into getting that Vr system today and playing the game. The Starlight system was interesting and the best on the market. They also created Twilight Online.


    ¡°Actually Mom you are right about me and Rose. I am planning on asking her out and confessing my feelings today. Also, I wanted to try and check out this new Vr system and buy it with a game I wanted to play. I plan on streaming so I can make money and also to have fun.¡±


    His mother looked at him with an excited grin and squealed, "Omg, I am going to tell your Aunt about the exciting news! Looks like we are gonna be actual Sisters and also Grandma¡¯s! Also, your Uncle can finally stop preparing to fire his shotgun at Rose¡¯s First boyfriend!¡±


    He looked at his mom with a deadpan expression. He hoped that what she just said was a joke and not real. Well, if it is, at least I have Uncle Sky''s support, I guess. Which is good because that man can snap me in half and I go to his dojo so I should know. Nyx continued to eat his breakfast in peace until he heard a doorbell and all the dogs barking.

    He heard Rose yelling at him and also what seemed to be a beeping of a delivery truck from the front door. He saw her in a light blue dress. It made her beautiful red hair pop out more. The dress also complimented her silver eyes. She was beautiful like an angel coming down from the earth appeared on his doorstep. Yeah, he was into her and finally realized that he had to admit it to her today or sooner rather than later.


    He looked at the delivery truck''s place. It was a white pod with a black chair and a very futuristic helmet inside. "Yes, put it down and take it to the room upstairs on the right. You better not damage this pod or else my Aunt will have your head!¡±


    He looked at the truck as it set the pod down. About 4 guys came out of the truck and started carrying it up the stairs. "You got me the best pod. How did you get it so fast? It usually takes a week to get here. You got it in one day and paid for all the expenses.¡±


    Rose looked at him smugly. She was lucky she was cute or he would smack her. "Well, I have connections. After all, my last name is Starlight. What did you expect? Also, your mom texted. She said you had something to tell me in private. Is something wrong?"¡±


    He started to panic and gave his mom a dirty look. She had a smug look on her face as she mouthed out "grandbabies." "Um, Yeah I had something to talk to you about. Let¡¯s go to the backyard to get some more privacy from noisy people who are listening.¡± He glared at his mom as he walked out back with Rose.


    They walked outside to the backyard. All the dogs and cats roamed near the garden and greenhouse. Nyx looked at Rose with a nervous expression. He worried about what he was going to say. "So Rose, you know we have been friends for a long time. There have been many rumours about us dating at school as you know as well.¡±


    Rose looked at him confused for a second but then had an angry expression on her face.¡± Are those people at school bothering you? I swear those people should mind their own business, it is not like you like mMM!¡±


    Nyx took his chance and kissed her as she was about to finish that sentence. He wasn''t thinking, but he thought this was the best way to tell her. He''s not good with words. "Well, the rumours were true. I do like you. Sorry if the kiss was not mutual."


    Rose looked shell-shocked about the kiss. She walks towards him after he pulls back. Then grabs his face and gives him a long sweet kiss back.¡±You finally kissed me you jerk! I have been waiting for so many years for this! I was thinking I was going to have to ask you out on a date! You are taking me out on a date and then we are making out all night as punishment!¡±


    He smiled as he processed the surprise of receiving a kiss. He starts to laugh and smile at the thought of having her make out with him as punishment. He should have done this sooner, to be honest. But, he needed to get the idea that this was a new life and a new chance at love. Then, he heard many camera clicks. He saw Aunt  Emma, Uncle Sky, and his mom with big smiles and cameras.


    ¡°¡±¡± GRANDBABIES  YAYYY¡±¡±¡±

 Game Start!

    After the confession and the nosy parents. Nyx and Rose spent the day at a local cafe and a picnic. They got food and drinks. They pretty much had their first date on his birthday and it was perfect. When they made it back to the house, Rose¡¯s parents and his mom were all waiting for him. They had an ice cream cake with lit candles to sing happy birthday to him.


    After his birthday and no more events, Rose dragged him upstairs. The VR pod should have been ready by now and connected to the house," she said. "Nyx, I heard you wanted the game Twilight Online. So, I got a copy for both me and you for the best pod. Also, I made you a streaming account with YouTube and Twitch. I also signed you up for the Starlight site. It has an account where you can sell in-game currency and items and chat with other people.¡±


    Nyx sighed as he heard Rose buy him everything he needed. He was grateful. But, he knows she will not take his money. So, he has to figure out a way to pay her back. "Thank you Rose for the birthday present." I know that you are not gonna let me pay you back with my money so maybe I can pay you back in other ways in the future.¡±


    He kisses her on the cheek as he says that to her. Rose blushed and slapped his hand. "You can¡¯t say that and not do anything, you jerk. I may take you up on that though pretty soon as my 19th birthday should be next and I know what I want for it. Be prepared for a long night, mister,¡±


    He laughed at her as she blushed at the idea of doing something special on her birthday. She usually teased him. So, this was a nice moment for him. "You don¡¯t have to threaten me with a good time. But anyway, didn''t you want to leave soon to play the game as well? I heard you were gonna be a warrior build that deals with swords¡±.


    Rose giggled at him and hit him on the shoulder. "Yeah, I was going to be a swordsman that could do magic, like a spellblade, in our DND games. So I am gonna head out. I already set up everything and added you to my Starlight account when I was setting up yours. I know you wanted to be a summoner so after you get used to your class we can start streaming and have fun together.¡±


    He nodded at the idea and smiled. He couldn¡¯t wait to try the summoner class and see many new creatures. They wouldn''t be possible to see in real life. "Yeah, I wanted to be a summoner since it seemed like the best fit. I like animals and I heard that the beast type of the summoner would be my best option. Even though no one wants it." He walked her home as they continued talking about the game.


    They agreed to play together and start streaming together after the starting town. The game map had the location in the south. It was the nicer part to start the game in, rather than the north. There was a lot of lore that the beta testers leaked. He showed interest in it a lot. After walking Rose back home, he made it back to his house at 6 pm.¡±Well, I might as well hop on the game. It''s the weekend and spring break, so we have the week off. Mom, I am gonna be playing the VR game I mentioned. You can watch my stream and message me on there if you need something!¡±

    He saw a man dressed in leather armor with a sword on his hip, sporting a scar on his cheek and a rugged look. Also, on his armor was an emblem that looked like a dragon claw with the letter D inscribed into it. "Um, yes sir. I am new to this world. Where can I get a class and see my status, sir? Also wanted to know any information that you had about this new world I am probably going to step into.¡±


    The man laughed at his polite response and lost look. Then he slapped him on the back.¡±Well aren¡¯t you a respectful lad. I can help you awaken your class and status. After all, I am Jake the Goblin Slayer and I have been slaying goblins for a year now.¡± Jake seemed nice, so he led them to a building. He said it was the Adventurer Guild, the only place that did awakening for free.

He would choose the Summoner and have so many creatures like that. His mom will love seeing the stream with the creatures he will summon. "Well lad, let me lead you to the awakening room. The guild leader will be there. She wants to keep factions from tempting or ruling you. The Adventurer Guild is Neutral with all Factions. The founders of each faction were from the Adventurer Guild. So, they have no power here.¡±

Jake and Nyx walked inside the Guildhall. Lots of people were walking around. Many people on the bottom floor are eating and drinking. They are having a good time.     There were a lot of people that reminded him of his first world a lot. The magic in this game seemed casual. Nyx and Jake walked up to the front desk. A woman with brown hair and glasses was behind it. "Hey there Jess. I have a code Gold for the Guildmaster and a Newbie here wanting to sign up." She looked at him and then made a small ball of wind. She whispered to it and sent it towards a room behind the desk.

    Nyx and Ashely shook hands as she introduced herself. "Nice to meet you, Miss Ashley. My name is Nyx. I want to join your guild and awaken to gain power in this world. I need it to defend myself and get stronger." She nodded as she took in the information. "Well Nyx, the awakening ritual is simple. You stand in the circle and touch the orb.     To have a status and a class in the world of Twilight the only way is to go to one of the factions of the world which are the Adventurer Guild, The Church, The Mage Guild, and The Royal Family.


    Usually, the Mage Guild and the Church Charge a big fee or you have to promise to join their organization. The Royal Family does awakenings for other nobles or heroes who don''t have a status but do something amazing! The Adventurer Guild is the only faction that does awakenings for free and you can join the Adventurer Guild and still be in another organization.     VR system for Twilight Online is going to be called Starlight System by the company Starlight Industries.

Also, the VR system is able to be a hub for multiple games out of starlight or just has a hub where friends can hang out and relax. The VR system is also connected to the internet especially since it is able to stream to people. It can also access forums and banking seamlessly and even be connected to your house for alerts.


    In case of emergency, the Starlight system will contact local authorities. They will arrive usually in 3 minutes to the location and the VR system is able to do medical scans and provide help.

    C- These adventures are the people that have a bit of experience with monsters and can help defend towns as a group but usually these are the more experienced standard adventurer


    D- These Adventurers are people who have committed to making their lives fighting monsters and have done at least 10 jobs for the guild and have been successful in them.

    Bronze coins are the lowest value of money in this world and 50 of them can make up a Silver coin. This currency is mainly used by all of the people in the world. Usually used at food stalls or staying in rundown inns or getting at least some food but not a lot.


    Silver coins are the third highest value of money in the world. 50 bronze is a silver coin and most good inns or businesses take a sliver or higher. However, people usually don''t care what money they have bronze or silver money is money unless you are a noble who is stuck up and doesn''t want any dirty slivers and bronze.


    Gold coins are the second highest value of money. 20 slivers equal 1 gold and usually only high-end businesses take gold. They are for the high class after all or at least that is what nobles say. Merchants also usually use gold but they don''t care as long as they get the money they are owed.


    Platinum coins are the highest value of coins and usually high-end nobles use  this currency or adventurers that take in high-end missions. Well, 100 gold coins equals one platinum coin.


    Let us put this into perspective a regular person let''s say a person that has a job as a farm hand. They would make 20-30 Bronze a week. A person who is a farmer and is doing amazing at his farm 2 to 3 slivers a week.


    Now a Merchant that is selling famous soap would be making 20 to 30 slivers a week.


    Now a Noble that has a clothing line and is very successful or an Adventurer that is B class would be making 3 to 5 gold a week.


    Now A Duke is in charge of all the farms in the southern area and would make 20- 50 gold a week.


    So most common people would only use silver and Bronze. Then Highend nobles and Adventurers used gold and platinum.

But they were letting them due to their stats and potential. "We also wanted to know if there was an Inn we could stay at.     Voidgazer: Yes Nyx seems to have a lot of potential and his skills I think I have an idea on what they do. I think the best bond is when he has to get close to his summons and treat them right. This is probably the reason why people thought beast type summoners were weak. They aren¡¯t servants, but equals. He loves animals and creatures. He will treat them well. In turn, they will let him use their skills.

    Ashley sighed as she was finally done with most of her meetings for the day. There was chaos with the Travelers coming and the factions wanting to use them as weapons of war. The good news was that most of them were Average or below in stats. But, they could still be hard to deal with since they can not die in normal combat.


    The Nobles have been a pain. Some Travelers want to start an uprising and don''t respect their orders. This makes sense since the Travelers are from a world with no nobles. She wondered what a world without nobles would look like.


    The Mage Guild has been getting arrogant as well these days. They finally got their golden child of a mage. The Traveler is an Elementalist like in the legends. They are able to use the four main elements without any cost. The problem about that class is they have to train each element one by one and then they can truly be amazing. But, it seems this Traveler is very arrogant. He thinks he is already the best person ever because of the Mage Guild.


    The Church has strangely been calm and polite. Especially toward their faction. But, they only told her to ensure someone looked after Nyx. She looked into why this was the case as she never wanted to play favorites like the other factions. It seemed like the Champion of Light is a Traveler and she knows Nyx personally. The reports said that she knew him in their world and helped her in a time of need.


    Then she heard a report about a Talented Traveler in the North. They have gotten the Hunter class and the Shaman type. They were the Hunters of the old world. They would hunt monsters and do Rituals. The Rituals could take their kills'' abilities in a certain form. They have not seen that type of Hunter in 200 years and they were lucky it showed up again. Reports from the North say the Hunter strives to become stronger but wishes to protect the weak. He has been giving some of his hunts to people in need of food.


    She looked at the report with a smile on her face. At least they now had a Talented Hunter in the North branch of the Adventurers Guild. The North has always had the most monsters and they needed some good news for once. She conjured a small ball of flame above her palm. She spoke to it in a whisper. "Jessica, please bring the file on Nyx and Rose. I wish to see their file and give approval for them to take five jobs tomorrow. Make sure to pick out the good jobs that have been double verified and pay 15 bronze at least for each job.¡± She flicked the flame orb that turned into a small bird towards the direction of the front desk.


    A few moments later, Jessica arrived with a smile on her face. She placed the two documents on the table for her. She also put down another paper. It was about approval for taking on 5 jobs tomorrow. She looked at the info on the two new stars of her branch. One is a Warrior with the spell blade type, a borderline Hybrid with the Mage class. They can use sword skills and the elements. Then, last but not least, a Beast Summoner. The Beast Summoner was always thought of as weak in the times of old. But, their founder proved that to be false as Summoned Beasts defeated the Demon King¡¯s Army and saved the Realm.

    She smiled as she walked back to the front desk after helping the Guild Master. She was happy. It was finally the start of the night shift. Few people would be coming in to get jobs. Everyone should be out doing quests or sleeping, waiting for new quests tomorrow. She thought about the branch''s new two stars, Rose and Nyx.


    She was surprised when she saw their stats. It was above average by a lot including luck which was insane to see these days. If you had good starting stats. Later on, this meant you don¡¯t have to spend your points to raise them to average. Yet, you can only increase luck stat by doing feats that can impress the gods. Their classes were also impressive. Judging by Nyx''s Summon, he had great potential. His luck affected which beasts he would get.


    Beast Summoners usually had a theme depending on luck and the blessing of the Goddess of Beasts. The First Beast Summoner theme was Dragons. She usually sees some have wolves, Others have horses and other types of animals. Monsters can be summoned, like werewolves, vampires, or insects. It all depended on luck. Most Beast Summoners are strong. They bond with their partners and take on their abilities and traits.


    She looked at the clock on the wall and she could tell it was 1 am currently and She still had two more hours of working. She had to deal with Jake later. He hits on her in the morning every day. He was not her type at all. He was only a D rank and she was a C rank before she went on vacation. She wanted a man who was cute but also strong and very nice to people. Nyx seemed like a good choice. He was very cute and handsome and had a lot of potential. But, it seemed that the other star, Rose, who was very beautiful, had taken him.


    She can see if Rose could share. But, she heard that in the Traveler¡¯s World they don¡¯t have many partners like in our world. The more powerful you are, the better people treat you and will want to be with you. Well, she had a feeling that Rose would let her have a taste of him as she was looking at her backside all day. That girl was cute too and she did not mind being with another girl. It would not be the first time she was with another girl after all.


    She looked at the paperwork on her desk. A worker brought in more due to the quests coming tomorrow. She remembered that cute little pup Snow that was a Fenrir of the legends. She was jealous of Nyx for getting a cute and loveable summon with a lot of potential. Then she realized Nyx''s theme as a summoner. If she was right, his summoning theme could shake the realm she knows.¡± A Beast Summoner that can summon the Beasts of Myth of Old. That is a Scary thought that could never be possible before. I thought that dragons were the apex but it seems that we have been wrong.¡±


    She sighed as all the factions received the news of Nyx in time, but this could only be proven when he reached Level 10. She hoped she was wrong. He got lucky with his first Wolf Creature summon. But she felt she would be wrong. "Well, I can''t wait to pet Snow tomorrow and give her a treat."

    Rose saw Nyx lying on a bed in the inn. Golden light started to surround him. An orb of golden light that was hovering above him vanished before her eyes. She thought it was the animation of logging out. The orb was them or their soul, according to the game¡¯s lore. It was being transferred from this world to ours. She looked at his cute face sleeping in the game. Then he saw Snow still chewing on the chicken bone sitting next to him on the bed protecting her partner.


    She liked Snow. She was so cute. She will be very popular with the stream chat. So much happened today with her awakening and her finally dating Nyx. She needed to leave the game to think about this. She brought up her stats and looked at the doorway icon. "Bye Bye, little Snow. Be good and keep us safe, okay," she said. Snow yipped and she chuckled as she logged out.


    In a Snap she was back in her room that had a lot of purple and red. Her room was not like people at school saw her. She had a lot of anime figures ,video game consoles and a PC. She had some romance and fantasy books that she loved reading. Very old-time movies like Harry Potter that her mom still had from back before World War 3. She loved classics back then, it was a time of peace and so many ideas back then.


    She looked at her phone and changed Nyx¡¯s contact name to Bf with a heart next to it. She was feeling giddy inside at the thought of finally being able to date her first crush. Ever since she met Nyx when she was four she would always feel so drawn and wanted to connect with him. Everyone else in her life wanted to be her friend because of her last name. Starlight owns Starlight Industries after all. After the war, the company founded. It helped shape the future as we know it. They made the first car that could hover and a new power source rather than oil for cars.


    Starlight company has made mankind more advanced. They have sped us toward a new age of technology. Even being about to transport the human mind into a digital world. The reason why that was so needed was because say for example in the future earth is not liveable anymore. Then we can transport our mind into a digital world and be safe there and humanity could live on. Anyway, she forgot about the thought of the company that has caused her social life to be a mess.


    Nyx was pretty much perfect to her. His Mother''s company was much richer than her Aunt¡¯s Company as well. Morningstar Industries was a miracle company. It popped out of nowhere.     Anna looked at her son having fun in the VR system she got him for his birthday. She was happy that Nyx was acting his age for once and playing video games. Anna was in her office watching her son¡¯s stream making sure that people behaved in there. She was happy that Rose, her future daughter-in-law, made her Mod in all Nyx¡¯s streams. Nyx was so much like his father. He didn''t care about what others thought or wanted to deal with people.


    Growing up Nyx never asked for toys or anything like that. She always spoiled him. If Nyx ever looked at something twice, she would buy it for him. She wondered if Nyx had mental problems or if something medical wrong with him. When he was younger, she took him to a doctor. But, the doctors wanted to give him medication. He had many mental problems. She was not going to give her baby medication because he is different. She loved her child the way he was and would never want him to change.


    She remembered when Nyx first got interested in books and wanted her to teach him how to read. He was so cute back then. He wanted to read history and fantasy books. She was happy that he had Rose. She always supported him and never allowed anyone to bully him in school. She was afraid that he would always be alone in school and have no friends to support him. Rose was like her mother, so open-minded and full of support. She was also like Sky always stood up for what was right no matter what.


    She looked back at the stream seeing so many people like her son and some people hating his class. She felt tempted to call and have people investigate every negative comment.     Nyx woke up after a long day of gaming and streaming. He was also tired. He watched One Piece with his mom last night. They only made it to episode 20 before they slept. He loved the show though and loved Luffy as a character. Never give up your dreams even in the face of death he could respect that. He looked at the time he woke up, which was 9 am in the morning. That means he had about an hour and a half to wash up and meet Rose in the game.


    He smelled his mother cooking breakfast downstairs. He heard the dogs moving around the house. He finally got up and went to wash up and get ready for the day. He wanted to at least take a shower since he did not get the chance last night. Even though the pod had cleaning features, he was still going to take a shower. As he got his clothes and turned the water on he heard his mom yelling from downstairs.¡±Nyx! Make sure to come downstairs for breakfast before you even think about playing the game.¡±


    His mom always noticed that he would forget to eat or skip breakfast if he was excited about something. Which was a very bad habit he needed to fix, but I mean can you blame him? Today, he felt excited to start levelling up and doing quests. He was aiming to rank up today and then tonight he can make some for Rose and him on their date tomorrow. The developers are scheduling maintenance for the game anyway to fix some bugs.


    20 minutes later after showering, he felt as good as new and not grimey or icky at all. He smelled breakfast downstairs as he got out of the shower. He appreciated that his mom always made time for him even though she had her own company and ranch to take care of. His mom was smart with time and also hired people to do a lot of work for her as well. Also, you can do anything on your phone if you have enough money.


    He walked downstairs and his mom was there with an apron on making a lot of breakfast as usual. She even made smoothies as we both have a sweet tooth and need something sweet but healthy. He already had reached an amazing 2 million subscribers. His Twitch reached a 2 million follower count. He was going to let his mother and her lawyer team look at contracts. The contracts were for Twitch and other companies he will stream on.


    He logged off his computer and sent a text to his mom about the issue of his accounts. She already talked about making some merch last night each time he gets a summon. He saw Snow sneaking to eat one of Rose¡¯s steak. Now should he let his summon eat Rose¡¯s Steak. He set up a poll on what he should do and everyone voted yes.     He saw an orb of light appear above Rose. She glowed with a golden light. Then, it disappeared as she opened her eyes. "Hey Nyx, sorry I was late. In fact, apparently, Priests can use divine energy, which in return, they have to have faith in their gods. It seems interesting. Depending on which god you serve, you have a different class.


    BeastSupporter: I am more interested in the patch notes about the Summoner Class. Apparently the class got a massive nerf on demons and angels. Demons and angels can now break free of their contracts and even kill their summoner. Apparently, there is a system in the background. It tracks the bond between the summoner and their summon.


    Horses101: Well, Nyx does not have to worry about that at all. It seems the patch affects Beast summoners'' bonds. But, Nyx loves animals and loves Snow a lot. He spoils her.     ¡°Why the heck do we have to have our first quest be rats? I am scared of rats, you know this, Nyx. Mice are cute and cuddly, but rats are disgusting and horrible. We live in New York, so you know how crazy the rats are here.¡±


    The Duo has been walking towards where the client was for a few minutes after they left the guild. Nyx sighed as he heard Rose rant about rats nonstop. She had a point about rats. They were gross creatures that usually carried many diseases. In fact, the last pandemic was caused by them. It wasn''t as bad as other pandemics in the past.


    "Well, Rose, we could just have Snow hunt the rats while we do the other chores. That way we can clean up the yard and not deal with any rats at all. While she can get some experience hunting. After all, she needs to start somewhere, and this is a good start.¡±


    She paused in her rant and thought about the idea, and then she smiled. He solved that problem. That''s good because he couldn''t have another six-hour rant like in the past. One of the cats at the ranch caught a rat and brought it to Rose to see what it had hunted. She freaked out for a whole week, and every day for that week she had a six-hour rant about how disgusting rats are. She is fine with rats that people keep as pets, but not wild rats, especially in New York.

    The Duo continued towards the client who was named Edward White. They hoped Mr. White would provide them with tools to help them finish the job as fast as possible. If not, they can use their skills and think of it as training them. They finally reached their destination. It was a cottage that seemed to be very old but kept in good shape due to maintenance. They saw an old man waiting on the front porch with a cane next to him and what looked to be a glass of beer sitting. He looked at them and walked up towards the house and got up with a smile on his face and walked towards them slowly.


    "Well, hello there, lad, are you the adventurers that will be helping me take care of my backyard? I remember I put in three job requests so I can get it all cleaned up. He looked back at Rose, who seemed to have gotten the same quest as well since they were in a party, after all, it makes sense. The duo both accepted the quest and waved Mr. White off as he went to go back and relax on the porch. Rose and Nyx walked towards the back of the house and saw a gate and a shed next to the entrance. The gate was made of wood and looked out of place, since the fence looked much older than it. He realized that Mr. White must''ve gotten it replaced. Rose opened the gate while Nyx went to get the tools in the shed.


    He looked in the old shed. He saw two pairs of farm sickles with strange glowing runes. There were a lot of other tools like hammers and screwdrivers in here as well. Also, there were four pairs of gloves on the table near the sickles as well. He smiled at the gloves being there, as he did not want to be touching dead rats with his hand. He wondered if there were diseases and if you could get sick in this game, but he was not going to test that. As he was gathering the tools and bringing them outside, he heard Rose yelling at him.


    ¡°Nyx! There is a lot of grass. I hope you found the tools in the shed because we will definitely need them! Also, I think Snow needs a bath after this. The rats seem to be underground. She has to dig down to get them.¡± He walked over to the front gate to see what she was talking about. He saw lots of grass everywhere. Medium rocks were littered about. Snow was chasing rats across the yard.


    "Shit, you were right Rose rats are the worst,¡± he said with a deadpan look on his face. Yeah, this was going to take a while.

 Baby Pictures And Completing Quests!

    Nyx wiped the sweat off his forehead as he carried the heavy rocks in the wheelbarrow. He was going to put ten of them and wheel them to the river. That way, he only had to do three trips to the river and not go back and forth a lot. Rose was hacking away at all the grass using the magic farming sickle. It was working really well. It cut through pretty easily, and she''s already cut 125 out of the 300. Snow was really good at catching rats and had already caught 17 of them. Rose was crying each time she caught a rat like a proud but disappointed mom.


    ¡°My poor baby has to hunt rats with her beautiful fur getting dirty. Nyx, what about how many diseases are in those disgusting rats? Poor Snow is going to get sick and die, maybe we can¡¯t have that!¡±


    He rolled his eyes and sighed at her being a worried mom with Snow. She was right, though, about the rats maybe having diseases; but, Snow is a summon and a Fenrir at that. So something like a rat would not affect her at all. Her species are able to eat worlds and gods. In the legends, she should be fine with a couple of rats. Snow can''t get sick. And even if it were, Snow is a legendary creature. The odds of her getting sick from a regular rat are not even possible.¡±


    He made the three trips while Rose continued to cut the grass and baby Snow each time she caught a rat. The rocks were not that heavy. So, he just threw them in the wheelbarrow and took them to the river Mr. White mentioned. He finished clearing all the rocks. He took the other magic farming sickle to join Rose in cutting the rest of the grass. ¡°Alright, Rose, we can take a break for 30 minutes and check stream chat. Snow can hunt the rest of the rats in the meantime, so they can watch us and also Snow can hunt and have a fun time.¡±

    As Rose and Snow rested on the ground, Nyx finished the last bit of the quest and brought back the tools back to the shed. He was surprised at how easy the quest was and how much money they would earn. The group walked back to the front of the house. Mr. White was still sitting there sipping his beer and having a nice time on the front porch. "Mr. White, everything is finished back there. You can come and take a look. We''ve made sure to get all the rats. Snow had a fun time catching them all. They''re all in a pile in case you want to use them for something.¡±


    ¡°Thank you there, lad. I''ve already seen the work while I was in the house getting me another beer. You three did amazing work, and the backyard looks much better than it already was. He saw her gnawing on the bone in Rose¡¯s arms. Yeah, she would be spoiled, just like how his mom spoils the farm''s animals with treats and the best food. She is lucky. We''re rich and have a company that sells animal food and medicine. Without these, we''d be broke.

    Voidgazer: It makes sense. There are multiple factions. The rep system is probably related. After all, if you offend the factions that seem to control the world, there will be repercussions. Also, there have been players who have been testing the limits of what they can do in game. They want to see if they can be punished.


    Golden Monkey: Well, Void is right there have been some idiots in the game. They have been jailed and tortured, depending on the crime they committed. Some idiots tried to commit crimes in which they would be jailed in real life. The police have been contacted about these cases. Also, some idiots decided to insult the gods, and they were cursed, depending on the god they insulted. However, when someone insulted the god of hope, the world responded. All the statues of the gods in the church glowed, and the person was smitten.


    Horses101: I actually was watching the video about that. Apparently the player¡¯s body was smited and then a status effect popped up in his system. The Gods'' Curse means you can''t have a class or level up. All people will see you as a monster. The curse''s cause is below where it appears in your status. It said insulting the world''s creator, who even the gods respect.


    BeastSupporter: They also have a secondary curse from the Goddess of Beasts. Apparently the church provided the reason for the curse. She is the wife of the God of Hope and was the first one to ever be created after him. The God of Hope is a mystery. But, he is apparently the reason why this world was created. He is also the reason why humans can level up and get classes. So it makes sense that the player got smited by all the gods as they see him as their father or maybe their king.

    Nyx and Rose arrived at the guild after dealing with rats and clearing Mr. White¡¯s backyard. The sun was still out, so they had a lot of time to finish their last two jobs. After all, they wanted to get this done today, not tomorrow. The game will be in maintenance. Also, they have a date to prepare for. He also looked up what he should do about Snow when maintenance happens. The Devs answered the question on the forums already. They said that Summons will be fine during maintenance. You can leave them out of your summoning space.


    Apparently, the nearest NPC will care for your summon for the day. They will make sure it is fed and healthy. This is good. He was worried about Snow being alone and not having food. As he had these thoughts to himself, Rose went ahead of him and opened the door to the guild. Inside, you could see many people eating or getting quests on the second floor. He saw Jessica sitting behind the front desk with a tired expression but no bags under her eyes. It seems she took his advice and got some sleep when she had the chance.


    Jessica noticed us walking in and waved at us to come over to the front desk. "Welcome back, Nyx and Rose. Your job went well, and you''re back fast. I need a badge from the client. It shows the job met their standards. If they didn''t give you a badge and you did the job well, tell me. I will send our investigators to check. Then, we can get you credit for the job.¡±


    He handed her the badge that Mr White provided them. It was good to know that they needed the badge to complete the job. Also, the guild gave them the option of having someone check if the job was done. This is in case the client goes back on their word and does not pay them. Or, if the client says the job was not done, even though it was. ¡°The Job was pretty easy and we split the work between us so we can get the job done faster. Also Mr white provided us with money for the job and we are ready to complete the last two jobs.¡±

    The group walked out of the guild and walked towards their destination. The sun was still out however it was going down and it was about to be sunset. ¡°Mr Nyx can I have a piggy back ride while we go back home. I always wanted one but my sister is always busy with paperwork. Also can we get some fried potato patties. As we go and some lemonade. Oh there is also a Barkery with some amazing bread we can have.¡±


    Nyx picked her up and put her on his back, nodding his head at all her requests. He was smiling. It reminded him of the kids he used to watch while volunteering at the orphanage. Rose was smugly smiling at him. She was mouthing out the words Big Brother Nyx to him. She wasn''t wrong; he loved to think he was a big brother to all the kids he has taken care of. He once wanted a younger sibling. But, his mother said she could never love anyone else after his father. This was understandable.

    Nyx looked at the chaos of his chat and sighed at his mom selling him for more grandkids. Rose was already drooling at the idea of playing with girls like some old pervert. Amaya was having a good time at the bakery though they had a lot of good food here. There were cookies and brownies for sale. They also have some freshly squeezed lemonade and a lot of pastries and fresh baked bread as well. We made sure to get whatever Amaya wanted, however Amaya insisted we get stuff for ourselves as well.

    He smiled and agreed with her logic. Also he loved Apple pie and Ice cream. It was his favorite.¡±You know we have the same taste. Actually, I love apple pie and ice cream. It tastes amazing. He did not know if Snow could have cookies. But, he did not think she could get sick. She is a summon and her species is so mythical that he does not think a cookie could get her sick. The group, after their snack break, left the bakery and headed to the mansion.


    Nyx noticed it was getting darker as time went on. Some mages nearby cast flames that wandered the streets for light. But, he noticed something strange. He saw shadows in a nearby alley appear and disappear. He made sure to tap Rose¡¯s shoulder and gave her a serious look while looking at Amaya. Then he saw a glint of silver. He jumped in front of Amaya and summoned claws that looked to be made of ice.

    A sword met his claws as he saw a man with a black mohawk and a scar near his eyes and green eyes meeting his own. Behind him was another figure in the darkness with a bow. "I was told this job would be easy. We''re supposed to deal with newbies. But I guess our info is wrong. Well boy you caught my attention and now you must pay the price.¡± The man chuckled and backed away from the clash.


    Rose took out her sword and Snow dropped from Amaya¡¯s arms and growled, ready for a fight. Shit this was going to be a pain in the ass. He hated death flags and now he blames Rose for this!

    Mana System- Cores


    Mana is the energy that powers spells that connect life and death. It is the endless possibilities of the elements connecting with each other that bring forth the mysteries of the world. As long as magic exists there are infinite possibilities.


    Red Mana Core- Those who have just awakened to mana start at a Red Mana core and can only do netural spells with no element as they have not awakened to enlightenment to find which elements connect to them.


    Blue Mana Core- This is the start of every class that deals with mana. This is the start where you awaken your core and go to the next stage, where you find out which element or elements connect to your soul. Some people do not connect to an element as well but they are blessed by mana to be able to shape the prime energy that connects all the elements. Able to do beginner spells with the elements but nothing complex


    Purple Mana Core- When a mana class or mage is finally able to step above the beginner and sense the man in their air. They are on the path to finding what mana and magic are to them. They can sense magic but do not have any details as they have just started on the path. Their spells can take shape and start to weave to their will but only a small amount.


    Silver Mana Core - You are no longer a beginner and now you are on the path of mysteries. You can sense and start to see the paths of mana in the air. You can identify the colour of mana for the main elements and see what they mean. You are on a long path of the mana users and mages before you have failed and died in the pursuit of the root of mana. You are now able to do intermediate spells for the element or element. The road has just begun will you keep climbing?


    Gold Mana Core- The path of mana has been accepted. you and your body are on the way to becoming one with mana as you look around you can see mana in the air as you cast your spells. You are able to use all intermediate spells with ease and you finally start to step into the advanced spells that can take out small towns and cities with enough preparation. This is your first step to true power on your way to the path of mana.


    Platinum Mana Core- You are one step away from the true root of mana. Your body has now become mostly mana and you are able to see all the different mana types and able to tell what they are. Your soul is preparing you to become something more as you can feel the weave of mysteries. Your element starts to affect your personality as you have always leaned to it after all it is connected to your soul. You are able to use advance spells with ease and soon you will be reaching tiers of spells that even the gods shall look at you when you use them.


    Aether Mana Core- What are you? What have you become? Is this the root of mana. The Gods look at you with interest in what you are. What have you become to the world? You feel like you can grab the weave of mana and do what you wish. Whatever your path was it got you this far and there is no going back.

    Gate of Wrath- So much anger towards things in your life. The burning rage waiting to be opened. In life, you are angry at a lot of things and it builds up to a point where you have to face it all. You face your rage and in turn, you gain the ability to connect to an element that reflects your soul.


    Gate of Envy: Wanting what other people have is a common thing. That festering jealousy will be most people''s downfall as Envy leads to something more. You must rise against the feeling of envy and in turn you will be able to use Ki in many more ways and techniques.


    Gate of Greed: The need to keep wanting more and more. Even though you have enough you keep wanting more of what you already have. This Gate is something that most people fall from and get consumed by their greed for power and needs for other things. If you overcome the gate of greed in turn you will unlock the animal you most connect with and in turn, be able to use abilities related to that animal.This book''s true home is on another platform.     Gate of Sloth: You are getting tired in this path of power you feel the need to stop and rest after all you made it this far so why not relax a little bit? There is no description of what each stage does and what they do as it all depends on the god you worship.

    Each stage you become more in tune with the god you worship and get more abilities associated with your deity. The Vitures are usually Trials set by your god with the theme of them either being the Seven Virtues or the Seven Sins based on the alignment of the god or goddess in question


    Classes that are not Faith classes can also be blessed by gods and grant the player more power than other people in their class.

    Summon/Monster Tier System


    Tier 1 - This stage is when the monster or Summon is either a child or at the beginning form of their power and most are common monsters that even a regular person can defeat unless the monster has a magical bloodline or magical abilities.


    Tier 2- This is the next stage of power when the monster is either in its juvenile stage or has evolved into a new monster and has more abilities. These monsters are usually what adventures are needed to kill them as they have magical abilities as it is more common and beasts with magical bloodlines become stronger as they grow more into the power of their blood.


    Tier 3- This stage is when the monster should be fully in their adult form unless they have a magical bloodline which allows them to grow bigger and stronger than normal. This is usually the limit for all monsters without a bloodline or magical abilities. Adventures have trouble with monsters like these unless they are skilled and able to handle them. These are fully grown monsters and can destroy small villages and towns if there are enough of them.


    Tier 4 - Now this stage is when monsters have either gone past their natural limits and evolved into something new or a monster with a magical bloodline is coming into their power. These monsters usually have rare bloodlines and above as they can grow into dangerous monsters. The most common monsters that start at this tier are werewolves and vampires due to the cure of their bloodlines. Experienced Adventurers are the ones that hunt monsters such as these.


    Tier 5 - Adventures do not underestimate monsters at this stage as they have tactics and power that are very deadly to humans and have the intelligence of a human child. They are not to be underestimated and also some monsters are either peaceful or dangerous depending on the monster and their behaviour. Only High ranking Adventurers can deal with these monsters and they can destroy small cities and armies


    Tier 6- These monsters only have epic bloodlines of higher and these monsters are not to be messed around with at all. They can destroy major cities and change the world as we know it with their actions. Only the top adventures are even able to interact with these monsters. These monsters have the same intelligence as us or maybe even more than us.


    Tier 7- Even the Gods are scared of these monsters and they seem to be like gods in their own right and able to destroy the world as we know it. The Gods send their best champions to kill said beasts and only die in the process. We respect these beasts unless they wish to end all of humanity then we need the strongest adventurers in history to kill them.

    Nyx looked at the two attackers that appeared out of nowhere. He knew he had a feeling that this quest was not going to be easy at all.¡±Shit! Rose, you take on the guy with the bow while I take on this guy in front of me. Snow, make sure to protect Amaya with your life." He saw the man chuckle and look at him with a smug look on his face.


    "Well, now it seems we''ve got ourselves a hero, Jax. Make sure to take care of the girl but leave her alive so we can sell her to the highest bidder. If you do a good job you can maybe have some fun with her. As for you, hero boy, how about you make this easy for us and give us the kid and we won¡¯t kill you and take your girlfriend?" He laughed and licked his lips as he stared at Rose.


    Nyx closed his eyes and focused on his bond with Snow. Another ice claw appeared on his left hand. He got into a combat stance. "Or Rose and I will kick your ass and take Amaya home." It won¡¯t be long for the guards to come running after they hear the screams of pain after I punch your face in.¡± He opened his eyes, which glowed blue, and trained on his opponent like a wolf tracking its prey. For a moment they both looked at each other waiting for one of them to make the first move. Then in just a second they rushed at each other.

    She saw Nyx and the man with the mohawk rushed at each other and started to clash. Nyx pushed him back a couple of feet using his second claw of ice to have advantage. She however focused on Jax, the man¡¯s partner in front of her with a bow in hand. ¡°Alright Amaya you make sure to stay next to Snow while Big sis deals with this bully okay.¡± Amaya nodded and crouched down next to Snow who was growling at Rose''s opponent.


    "Look, Miss, I''ve got a job to do, and I really don¡¯t want to hurt you. We just need the kid because she''s a noble, and her sister will pay us a lot for her safety. We promise not to harm her. Just give us the kid, and nobody has to get hurt,¡± Jax said softly. But she wasn''t having any of that. Especially since she was already attached to Amaya like a little sister. This was the perfect time to prove that she could be the best big sister. Then maybe she could brag to mom that she should have another baby so she could be a big sister in real life.


    Rose slowly takes out her sword from its scabbard with one hand. With her other hand, she touches her glowing blue sword. Her sword glowed blue and then wisps of winds swirling around the blade.¡± Yeah, no way I am gonna kick your butt and prove I''m the best big sister so I can get a little mini-me. Oh and try not to die because I don¡¯t want Amaya to see blood. He saw the Summon he aimed at before she opened her mouth and shot out a blast of what looked to be a mix of ice and snow.

    Jax saw her swing her sword multiple times to create wind blades that joined into the blast of ice and snow. He sighed as he saw 3 icy wind slashes come at him.¡± I am going to kill that piece of shit scar if I survive this.¡± He ran towards the attack and hoped that his daggers could at least block that attack. Little did he know he was not dealing with a normal wind blade that he could slice away. After all, Snow attacks do have some pretty impressive explosive after effects.

    She saw him fly back as he met the attack head on like an idiot since he was thinking it was probably air.¡± Wow, the idiot fell for it. Even though my attacks look like wind combined with Snow¡¯s. But, they are not just a wind blade anymore. And Snow¡¯s attack has a special kick. After all, she is a special girl.¡± Jax was knocked out on his back with some blood coming out of some cuts and injuries from the attack. Rose looked back towards Amaya, who was clapping and cheering for her victory. She just smiled and gave her a peace sign.


    Nyx Pov


    Nyx was continuing the clash with Scar hit after hit. As they struggled in a clash he kneaded him in the gut with his leg. He had to use all of his body and not just his claws like an idiot. They were evenly matched. He had to use both his claws to match his opponent''s strength. "You motherfucker! I guess you are not a hero boy after all you don¡¯t fight like one anyway. Look, kid, I''m stronger than you and I am probably gonna last longer than you so why don¡¯t you just¡ª"

    ¡°What the fuck what that! What the hell happened to Jax! He is knocked the fuck out and covered in blood over there.¡± Jax yelled as he saw his partner on the floor crumpled in a heap. Then looking at the Rose dancing around and Amaya cheering for her. Nyx smiled at the scene and got a great idea. He rushed towards Scar. Scar got distracted. He swung his right claw at him. "Well then why don¡¯t I show you what happened to your friend! Eat this asshole!¡± Nyx yelled as his right claw started glowing and met Scar''s sword.

    Scar was thrown back by an explosion of ice energy. It hit him and his weapon. "You better get ready," Nyx said, smiling. "This is Round two and I am not holding back now." Scar got up from the ground and readied for what was to come. Nyx laughed as he was getting into the feel of being in combat and how bad he was gonna kick this guy¡¯s ass.
