《The Lost One》 A child A young boy, alone, sitting in the middle of a small clearing part of a vast forest, awoke to the sound of raucous bird-song which pierced the ears of every being in the forest, it was time for the day-dwellers to awaken. Drowsily the boy brought his arms up and stretched them as much as possible. After stretching, the boy looked around and wondered where in the world is Carmen- sorry wrong show, the boy had no recollection of where he was, who he was, what this was, what stretching was, or anything not even Carme- again sorry i''ll stop. He was like a newborn, he had stretched in the beginning out of habit from some locked away memory, trapped in the deepest parts of his brain. All he could do was rely on his instincts and luck to survive, almost a death wish, but who cares he couldn¡¯t even wish for death because he didn¡¯t know how. The boy''s first instinct was to explore and with no experiences all he could do was mindlessly follow the instincts like a beast, but found that he had no ability to move, so, to combat this, he innovatively dug his hands in the dirt and slowly inched himself forward. After doing this for a bit, he realized that using his legs he could boost himself forward if he used his arms as crutches, but every time he fell down, hurting himself mildly. This led to him scrapping that idea and using his knees to boost him forward while on all fours. This began to hurt really badly and even though he was making progress into the forest, his knees were suffering a massive cost. So, he tried to use his feet to propel him and his hands to balance since he wasn''t flexible enough to use elbows, but this failed due to it taking an enormous amount of energy that had to be used to maintain it, and the strain it put on his body. Next idea! He contemplated how he could keep himself from being hurt, but also have some speed, and decided to use a position where he bent his knees and stood on his feet, then he leaned slightly forward and used his hands to support himself, resembling a frog somewhat. This way of movement was inefficient speed wise, but it didn''t cause much strain on the body, so it was the go to movement technique right now for the boy. At this point he was extremely hungry and thirsty (even though he didn''t know what that was) due to all the mental and physical strain. He had been developing his movement and actually moving for hours now, it was an absolute miracle he was still thinking straight. So, he kept moving in hopes of something to quench this burning feeling in his throat and the emptiness in his stomach and soon his efforts were rewarded with a completely still, reflective area, which was subconsciously compared with the sky. Since the boy''s instincts told him it would quench the burning; the boy crawled towards the lake as fast as possible. Desperately the small boy scooped the substance up in his hands and efficiently dumped it in his mouth to escape the excruciatingly painful fire which was consuming him with a rapid pace. As the water enveloped his tongue, instead of the expected refreshness, he felt an electric shock. His mouth more stung profusely and excruciatingly than you could imagine, for example, imagine a sting ray impaling you on every spot in your mouth except 10x worse. As if the boy was having a seizure (he probably was) he flopped up and down, switching from choking himself to holding his cheeks and mouth with desperate fervor, as if that would help. He did this for about 10 minutes by the sea and eventually the pain faded enough so he could right himself onto his feet and fists (frog position). Then he went hippity hoppity on his walkity way to munchity a nicety foodity letting out a ¡°ribbit¡± of joy. The water mission had ended in a success. To find some of this precious food the boy had an amazing strategy: pick up anything that wasn¡¯t dirt and eat it, unless it smelled bad he would eat anything, but all of it just hurt his stomach even more. Until¡ He spotted a colorful thing sticking out from the ground, curious he bent down at a revolution rate of 1 per 3 seconds on a 2ft circle (he was 4 feet tall) picked it up and popped it into his mouth.Stolen novel; please report. BANG His whole body became paralyzed. Not a single muscle could be moved. So he stood in the same position he was in when he ate the mushroom. The wind blew past in wondrous gusts of glee, but upon encountering him it fell into a gloom and threw itself upon the ground in disgust. The trees billowed and swayed cheerfully watching animals come to and fro, waving at them with glee, but upon turning to the boy they could not bear to look at it for one more second and hopped away for at least ten feet. The sun glistened and shined, the light of the world could not possibly be gloomy because of the valiant position appointed to him, and all the praise he got was just a bonus, and he was particularly happy today until he saw the boy, filled with fear and despair he immediately abandoned his position and threw the moon into the sky to hide The moon just said ¡°nope¡± and left the planet without a light source. AND SO Despair fell upon the land of mortals but only for ten minutes Before this Funnily enough, whenever an animal saw him in this vulnerable state they ran off as fast as possible without looking back. Then, the boy felt a sort of itching sensation not on his head, but weirdly in his brain, and he was suddenly plunged into the darkness. He found himself in a place of night but surprisingly he saw the colorful things here too, lightening up the room. ¡°Conquer¡± ¡°ConquEr¡± ¡°CoNqUer¡± The room was filled with this eery chant which was incomprensible to the boy who stood there supressing the urge to throw up (he still hadn¡¯t gotten the random objects out of his system). Whoosh A colorful food man-like thing with legs arms and a sword stood before him and shouted ¡°Fight me¡± The boy realized the meaning of the words the moment they were spoken and used his willpower to express agreement upon the colorful mutated man. The Fight Begun Not wasting a moment the opponent seemingly appeared behind the boys back and sliced through him with his hand. The Fight Ended The colorful part ground man immediately realized his easy victory and began walking away towards his prize, the brain. He walked a few steps full of excitement ¡°FINALLY a vessel to grow my king¡¯s colony. ¡°I SHALT RULE TH-¡± He abruptly stopped his sentence as the ground began to grow up and turn sideways, then he realized the cause as a string of red electricity flew in front of him. ¡°Aw dang it!¡± Those were his last words as he fell to the ground with a man surrounded by bolts twirling in a tornado shape stared down mercilessly at him. The Man walked to the boy and after a second of hesitation, seemingly drew out all the energy in the room and The Man then poured it into the boy while The Man screamed out in pain, but was unwilling to give up and kept going, and soon began disappearing from toe to foot to leg to chest to head and then he was gone. A Ferocious roar sounded through the forest The boy awoke to a beautiful sunrise that felt somehow like a dawn of a new era that would crack the universe''s timeline into pieces causing both love and hate, war and peace, and most importantly the rise of one foolish boy to the top against all odds.
¡°Sir, im s-sorr-ry for some reason I can¡¯t tell you what-¡± CRASH ¡°SHUT UP THIS IS ALL YOUR FAULT, TEN WHOLE MINUTES OF CHAOS ARGHH¡± ¡°S-sorry I just rrr! WHY, why can-¡± BANG ¡°Good riddance commander, he was just a coward or spy, sadly no matter what we did we could not get an answer out of him even through all kinds of torture.¡± ¡°Yes, its quite a dissapointment, he must¡¯ve been trained quite well, welp, no point pondering over the past, now we have to figure out which colony is up to this even if there is none, we still have to have a reason, find who.¡± ¡°I will be investigating it sir.¡± ¡°Good.¡± A man in a white coat, 6 meters tall, with tom cruise sunglasses on, a cigar in his mouth, and a sailors cap retorted angrily and stormed off. The Amazing Game of Child Golf He was hungry, really hungry even after eating that colorful thing, and upon realizing this he rubbed his stomach and, despite having no idea where he was and why, he just accepted it and went off to find some of the illustrious food that would fill his stomach. After trudging along through the infinite forest for over an hour he felt his hands and feet shake because of the ground under him. Then again they shook and so did the trees, and again and again at 4 second intervals. Then¡ He saw it A giant stick shaped thing with bloats on the front and back where 2 sticks stuck out of the front bloat, but the sticks were curved and kept wiggling around like snakes. The main body was taller than a tree and the bloats bigger than boulders. FOOD!!!! Exhilarated by the thought of some nutrition, he ran as fast as possible towards the yummy snack which was currently munching trees.
¡°Is he stupid¡± ¡°Yeah¡±
The tree-like thing immediately noticed this little tiny boy running toward it and thought its first thought ¡°ThISguYHaSmeNtAlPrOblEms¡± Soon the boy reached the tree thing and felt a burst of dopamine as he dreamed of the deliciousness of this new dish, he could almost taste it, the woody texture, food taste, and the absence of the emptiness in his stomach. Thwack The boy flew into a tree ¡°Ouch¡± The tree exploded Fortunately for the boy it slowed his momentum enough for him not to go a thousand miles away, only 2. The boy landed and skidded for about 10 meters then stopped Blood spewed from him, he had too many internal injuries to count, so many broken bones it would be surprising to the number of bones in the body. But He was in ONE PEICE! Immediately he hopped up just to realize his hands and arms were broken but his feet and legs were not. In a sudden burst of genious he remembered one time he saw a big brown hairy thing stand up on it¡¯s hind legs and roar, so he lept to his feet and was surprised to see himself able to balance¡ for a second. He tried again and was able to hold for another second Again and again until finally he gave up on balancing and just started jumping and landing which was easier for him to balance with, so then with this new strat he began boosting himself with every massive jump to the dish. FOOD At this point the stick thing had already forgotten the boy and was just munchin some trees happily, he had achieved higher intelligence due to that boy, making him even more formidable. BOOM The boy came like a bullet and barreled into the food with all his might, and this time it actually did something, the ant was moved a millimeter, which is quite the accomplishment if you think about it. The food was stunned for just a moment, then angered, so it began shaking itself violently to rid itself of this little pest. Unfortunately for the food, it did not work, and the boy, currently on it''s back, inched himself towards the front bloat, now recognized as the head of the food. Soon the boy reached his destination, and in triumph he brought his fist towards his food¡¯s eye and¡ Got thrown away again. BAM CRASH SMASH ¡°Ouch.¡± The creature was now fully aware of the threat the little boy posed, He was seemingly indestructible, had terrifying grip strength, and now was able to move insanely fast for a prolonged period of time. His only weakness was his experience in battle and little rationale, which could easily be fixed over time. This meant one thing to the creature: he cannot be underestimated. If you spot this tale on Amazon, know that it has been stolen. Report the violation. The stick thing would have immediately run away, but this forest was prime munching grounds with almost no competition, the creature was the apex predator here except for the other stick things, but they had an agreement. Therefore he must stand his ground and try to kill the little boy any chance possible, and the creature had a plan: stab the boy with one of its legs, easy. And so round 2 begun The boy was raring to go, he was this close to having breakfast last time. Twas just a bit unlucky, but the boy also was a little cautious, because it knew that the food would probably attack him with more intent to kill than last time, so he approached the stick thing... Exactly like last time. The creature joyfully munched the delicious trees and thought MMM now this is a tree while humming blissfully. BAM BAM In a single moment a small child was thrown to the ground and the same small child in that moment punched a massive creature that was bigger than an airplane, a whole different level than what it had been before. Both the creature and the child stood dazed for a moment, but the food recovered quicker and BAM the sport of child golf had been born WHACK
¡°Well Joe, no it is not illegal to kick children so hard they fly at 100 mph speeds, now stop asking useless questions and help me commentate this masterpiece of a game.¡± ¡°O-ok sir¡± ¡°OOOH and he¡¯s up¡ up, goooiinnng and goneee!! IT''S A TOUCHDOWN JOE!!! YESSSS!!!, now ehem sorry for my little outburst there, but the question remains, will he go for the 1 point or 2 point conversion¡± ¡°...(sigh) seems like the 2 pointer¡± ¡°OH AND ANOTHER CHALLENGER ENTERS THE FRAY, what does it look like joe?¡± ¡°Another ant i¡¯d say.¡± ¡°CORRECT JOE! YOUR PRIZE IS... "A TOY YODA!¡± ¡°...¡±
The boy had been batted 2 times already, one was a kick and another a throw, now he faced yet another meal right next to him, thinking of breakfast, he did not hesitate a single mom- WHACK The boy was sent tumbling into the other meal, immediately adapted and rushed toward him, a swift kick was sent towards him, but the boy was ready, he rolled to the side and burst jumped into the mea- THWACK He was sent away from the other meal and into another that hadn''t been in the game before, which immediately caused more thwacking. Soon all the stick-like creatures in the forest joined the game and were split into two teams, the Big Heads and the Tree Munchers. They created the first child golf known to man. Heres how it works, you have two modes or positions of the teams, one is the kickers, they are the ones who start the game and hit the child to the throwers, the throwers intercept the child midair and hit him back to the kickers. Throwers can become kickers if the child dodges one of their attacks, or the kickers kick the child just right so the throwers can¡¯t hit the child from above. The throwers however cannot lose a point if the child hits the ground, but the kickers lose a point if the child hits the ground, and the throwers gain a point. But every time a team reaches 5, they have to pass the child in between them and score a touchdown on the enemy zone by getting the child into a special zone. This counts as a set. Once a team reaches 10 sets, they have to send a team member over into the enemy zone, but the member cannot be tagged by the other team, if they are, they must retreat back to their team''s home territory and cannot be used as the receptor. If they fail, then both teams go back to zero. They must golf the child into a circle created by the team member¡¯s antennas (curvy stick like things). The biggest rule is you cannot kill a person on your team or the enemy team during the game. And SO The Child Golf Game had begun Honestly it was quite close, the big heads had overall stronger bodies than the tree munchers, but the tree munchers had an experienced veteran on their side, so it was pretty balanced, with the Tree Munchers winning the first set. Sadly, after that is was downhill for the Tree Munchers, the Big heads won set after set until it was the last play of the game, but the child was intercepted through a graceful catch by a Tree Muncher. Then the tides turned, it got down to the final play, but it was intercepted again. Over and over this process was repeated each team never backing down. They played this game for 2 whole days, until they were too tired to even move and they lay there in a coma. An Hour After The End Of The Game The boy sat contently and burped with satisfaction after eating all that food after such a long wait. The creatures had all been devoured by the hungry child as they were sleeping, and the child had had his first true meal. Satisfied by actual food, he slept soundly as the sun went down and stared at the sunset once again, and said his first words. "Fight Me."
Crackle, Sss, Whoosh The Hourglass which was already cracked started spilling out countless grains of sand into the void.
¡°So Joe, wouldn¡¯t you say that was quite the entertaining event, too bad the footage cut out at the end.¡± ¡°It was literally just a bunch of ants kicking around a child, but yeah, it was surprisingly entertaining.¡± ¡°Well I wouldn¡¯t simplify the game THAT much, there was quite a bit of strategy involved!¡± ¡°Strategy in a game about kicking and whacking a child over and over again.¡± ¡°Awww y¡¯know ya gotta start looking at the bright side of things Joe!¡± ¡°What''s the bright side of kicking a child?¡± ¡°...¡± ¡°Exactly.¡± The stages of hourglass The boy woke up to the sound of slithering soft and slowly, unaware of any threat the boy yawned drowsily, but soon began feeling a constriction on his breathing. The boy slowly opened his eye-lids at first, then they flew open when he saw¡ A little furry animal sitting on his lap, sleeping, and a long thing wrapping around him, two animals in total. Immediately he crushed the snake with his bare hands and threw it on the ground, lifting the furry creature gently off his lap and onto the floor. Some may have thought they won, but the boy had an uneasy feeling, so he got ready for battle, and sure enough, somehow, the snake immediately regenerated itself from near death. After a few second stand off with the boy, the snake threw itself at the boy at an insane speed.
Sand fell into the void The boy¡¯s head was blown of in a sonic boom. The boy dodged to the left, crashing into a tree branch, also was killed with a sonic boom. The boy jumped up and his legs were blown off, guaranteeing death. The boy rolls right and dodges the snake narrowly.
The snake landed and realized it had exhausted 80 percent of it¡¯s physical stamina in one attack, and now that it''s one shot move had been dodged, it hesitated for a moment, but ultimately concluded had no choice but to use what was forbidden. Frost gathered into the snake, causing snow to gently fall in a ten meter radius, but it outside the ten meter radius, in a hundred meter radius all plants had died, and the ground cracked. According to newtons third law there must be an opposite reaction for every action. The product of this death was absolute power A thousand ice spikes dropped down like a deathly rain that spelled certain doom for the target.
Ssss More sand spilled from the hourglass The boy tries to punch the spikes out of the air, but they go straight through and he meets a miserable end. The boy tries to dodge but there are too many and he bleeds to death. The boy tries to dodge again, better but still no luck. He tries to hit the spikes at an angle but they froze his hands to and he could not move, only accept his fate, he can. "Aha!" The sand flies into the hourglass and the hourglass repairs the crack. The line is broken.Unauthorized usage: this narrative is on Amazon without the author''s consent. Report any sightings.
The boy ducks, grabs onto the snake, a snake which is going the speed of sound and gently redirects his course into the ground, causing a very deep hole. The boy rushes over to the hole and starts dropping sharp rock after sharp rock, then massive rocks into the hole. This practice continued for an entire hour of dedication until he finally stops and walks away from his victim. Tha furry creature just kept on sleepin. He had no idea how he had experienced death multiple times, perhaps something related to the desert around him, The boy had no idea, which made him concerned for if he had to fight the snake again, but after an hour he was pretty sure it had died. The boy instantly dropped to the floor, dead tired and mentally done for and fell into a deep sleep. He drifted in a sea of nothing, no gravity, no air resistance, do distance, no time, no rules. It was a place of imagination and reality. It was an infinity. An hourglass orbited him loyally, and the furry creature jumped around too, but it was much bigger than in other reality. All of his foes also appeared, the blue substance, the random things he stuffed in his mouth, the stick like things, and the snake. Weirdly, they all seemed scared and would not come within 10 meters of him. Another weird thing is that he could not see the colorful thing, almost as if it only existed in the other reality. Weirdly, the hourglass was glowing, and drifting even closer, growing ever brighter. Curious, he reached for the hourglass and suddenly- Lick Lick Lick The boy awoke to the feel of the blue substance on his face, and a pleasant yet unpleasant sound. He opened his eyelids to realize the furry creature was standing right above him causing both the sound and the feeling. ¡°MMPH!¡± The boy immediately stood up, fell down, and wiped his face. Tha creature wisely realized he wanted some space and backed off to avoid being the object of frustration. After he fell down, he felt his cheeks getting hot, an unfamiliar feeling that provoked his urge to find out how to actually stand like that furry black creature did. So The training began First attempt he was leaning too much back so he tried leaning forward, but when he reached 7 degrees forward he would immediately start falling inescapably downwards. Next he tried not leaning at all, but it was impossible, he just kept going forward or backward. He tried to push back whenever he went forward or backward, but it was not sustainable, and most importantly it didn¡¯t look cool. After 2 whole hours of practicing, his legs could''t handle it anymore, but he didn''t want to quit, so he subconsciously bent his knees. He immediately realized he wasn¡¯t falling or leaning anymore and also realized the reason were his bent knees. Curios, he wondered how much the knees could be bent to walk, and realized that as long as they weren¡¯t fully locked then he could have the most minimal bending or just do what is comfortable. So, the boy learned to walk with help from the black furred creature and now had a fast, efficient, and comfortable way of movement. This awarded him the respect of the ginger creature and a sense of accomplishment (his emotions, not necessarily the truth) And off he went to conquer the deep dark middle of the forest.
In that exact same deep dark middle of the forest ¡°Master, did you feel that, nature was drawn upon, a mage broke the rules.¡± ¡°No, the magic never happened, but we feel the magic, interesting.¡± ¡°Huh?¡±
